Gerald Gardner was born on the 13th June 1884 in a small northern town called “Blundellsands�� Liverpool, England. Born of Scottish descent into a well-to-do family. His grandfather is reputed to have married a witch, and he claims others of his distant family had #psychic gifts. Gardner believed himself to be a descendant of #GrissellGairdner who was burned as a witch at #Newburgh in 1610. Ok, so Ive been a witch in some form or another for my entire life. Its the religion I was raised on and I think its really great that people are accepting it as a mainstream thing. However, so many people are just taking what they are learning from books and things they find online with no real research behind what they are lookinh into. Relying entirely on witchy blogs and the aestetic that catches their eye.

Magic is something that comes from going into nature and getting to know the world. Magic is energy, it surrounds you. Whilenit is found in the wisdom of others you can never rely on human wisdom alone. Go jave a conversation with a spider, get to know your local rocks. Streams and rivers really lobe proper attention. Get to know your inner magic. Get to know the out magics.

Dont just buy a book or follow a blog. Go out and listen to the world, before its completely covered with concrete and steal.

Everything has a language that can be learned. Everything has matter and energy. Its not mystical its science and it isnt a thing to just be toyed around with willy nilly. You can really hurt yourself if you dont do proper research.

And please, please, dont just become a witch because you want to shove it in the faces of other people. Dont try and force it on anyone and dont make people feel like an asshole or sad because they dont agree with you. Everyone is on their own journey, discovering a path that leads to their own enlightenment.
