Megami Tensei TRPG development update: Ability Tree-based progression & French version

Here's an update on the current state of the unofficial Megami Tensei TRPG "Goddess Metempsychosis."

Skills will be learned based on your choice of two out of five ability trees: Martial (Advanced close-range weaponry, archery, and unarmed combat training), Tech (advanced firearm, medicine, and COMP training), Magic (Elemental, Healing, and Support skills), Occult (Shinto, Buddhism, Wicca, Chaos Magic, etc.), and Psychic (Persona-summoning, ESP, and possession).

A player who wishes to play a more old-school SMT character such as in SMT 1, 2, and Strange Journey might choose the Martial and Tech trees to focus on summoning and weapon use. A player who wishes to play a more modern SMT character such as in SMT 4, and 5 might choose the Tech and Magic trees to focus on summoning and learning spells. A player who wishes to play a typical Persona character might choose the Magic and Psychic trees to focus on invoking a persona and learning new spells. A player who wishes to play a navigator such as Fuuka, Rise, or Futaba might choose the Tech and Psychic trees to focus on invoking their persona and scanning enemies or performing delicate tasks.

A basic version of the game will be available for free download. In addition, a French-language version of the final game will be available.
