I have been questioned recently about my love of dance. It’s not that I am a professional dancer and am proficient in all sorts of styles. Though I take weekly courses in Polynesian dancing, there is still much improvement to be made. I also resent the idea that I dance in an attempt to appeal to people’s base instincts. I don’t care if men or women are attracted to me when I move. I dance for myself.
