IUDM 2015 has officially begun!!! Our opening ceremony featured introductions of the entire exec board, the presentation of the line dance, and four very special Riley family speakers! Committee interviews are underway! We had a great first day of interviews yesterday and we're beyond excited to keep sharing the DM love during tonight's rounds ☺️ We can already tell this year's IUDM family is going to be incredible!

The silliest thing my Riley buddy and I have done is taken silly selfies at The Children's Museum. I love IUDM because they help support Riley Hospital and kids like me" - Marlee. "I honestly don't think there is a particular reason I dance at this point in my DM experience. It has become so abstract thanks to all of the people I have had the chance to meet and all of the memories I have had the chance to make. Each instance provides a new level of passion that molds with the one before it, forming a place in my heart like no other. Knowing that I have the chance to make a difference day in and day out is something that I cherish more than anything and I hope everyone involved in this organization feels the same way at some point. We have impacted so many people whether they are being treated at Riley or looking for a new family here on campus, this amazing cause helps those who participate as much as it helps the patients we are attempting to provide with the proper funds. I would have never dreamt of becoming so consumed by anything, but I wouldn't trade this cause for anything in the whole world. We have helped save lives, we have made incredible friends, and created something special for all of those who come after us.
