Gonna start by saying I’m super grateful for everyone who’s followed me and enjoyed my blog, I didn’t think I’d make much of this when I started Tumblr but it’s been really fun so far <3 I skipped my 200 celebration, so I’d like to start it today for my birthday and to maybe make up for that.

(even though I’m still working on requests and such I’m hoping this can get me back into a writers mood)

Because the jealousy over celebrities and their own partners is seriously unmatched.

I was scrolling through Instagram and found a video of Rudy Pankow (love him sm) walking into an event or something, don’t entirely know the context, and as soon as I opened up the comments the first one I see is;

“Love how Elaine (Rudy’s girlfriend) is laughing like anyone likes her.”

…um?

Bro what did Elaine ever do to you-?

There’s seriously no point in hating on a girl solely cause she is dating a celebrity, you can like Rudy Pankow all you want but dude leave her alone. She isn’t “stealing” him from anyone, she’s just dating the guy. If you’re spending all your time leaving hate for a girl you don’t know purely out of jealousy, you’ve really gotta re-evaluate these life decisions.

“As if anyone likes her” well, clearly Rudy does- considering they’ve been dating for 2 years.

And it’s the fact this has happened before, not only with the OBX actors.

Don’t try giving that whole “she’s dating him for fame” shit, cause you have no proof, no real reason to believe that. Madison Bailey (who plays Kiara in Obx) had to make a statement back in 2020 about a similar situation, people were talking shit about her girlfriend and saying it was only cause Mariah (her girlfriend) wanted fame. And as she said in this statement- that would imply that all Madison had to offer in this relationship was clout.

It’s already hard enough to constantly be living in the spotlight, but having your “fans” create fake drama, send hate to your partner, and just be such a pain in the ass does not help at all. Stop shitting on his love life just cause you aren’t a part of it.

This doesn’t just go for OBX cast, this goes for all celebrities who have had shit from toxic fans. Jealousy doesn’t justify hate, y’all.
