Hey Critters!

So, you may recognize these doodles, as I've been live doodling since the first campaign, and doing what side games and one-shots I'm able to do ^_^ I really love doing the doodles, and I hope ya'll are enjoying them too!

I'm reaching out b/c Work is getting tricky as my wife was fired from her job (along with her coworkers last year) b/c her boss got greedy (the union is currently suing him, but we're not looking to get much recompense even if we win probably), and her covid really disabled her so she's not likely to be able to get much new work. Additionally, our kiddo needs a lot of one-on-one support, so her being a stay at home mom is really something he needs at least in these first years of his life. So I'll be the sole earner for the foreseeable future, and I bet you can imagine how tough living off of comics and freelance is lol XD (for a family of 3 humans, 4 rescue cats +1 outside we're caring for best we can, and a number of hefty bills to pay ^_^;;)

So, if you enjoy my doodles (and perhaps even my other work) and want to throw some support my way, a couple bucks a month goes farther than you'd think! Or if that's not an option, shopping in my stores is great too, or even the free option of boosting my work whenever you see it, tell your friends about my comics (word of mouth is LITERALLY what works through this social media algo garbage that's hitting), etc and so on!

The knowledge that a giant number of the people who made the b/y Fandom absolutely miserable by never shutting the fuck up about b/j were so fucking smug about getting their "owed" Laura/marisha pc romance only to have to swallow a functionally asexual relationship (and a plot heavy campaign that has allowed for very little of the character magic of c2 and even c1) genuinely makes me smile sometimes. Because there are some who took that very in stride and they're doing fine, they're here and going a little hard on the whole cottagecore thing because for some reason that's what fills any wlw space where sex is missing or downplayed, but that's no real big deal apart from the broader purity culture implications. The ones who think relationships should look a specific way, say, like beau and yasha did... Well those people left and we don't have to hear from them anymore and I think that's just beautiful. It's so peaceful.

MARVEL Headcannon #5:

President Loki is the result of Odin banishing Loki to Midgard instead of Thor.

Basically, Thor started the war, but Loki got thrown under the metaphorical bus and got banished under the condition of Thor having to prove himself worthy of having his sibling by his side again, and then Loki could return.

Of course, Loki, being Loki, took the first opportunity they could find to blend in and eventually amass power. It got to the point where eventually, Loki found themselves running for president against one Steve Rogers (who took one look around when he woke up and decided, if no one was gonna get their stuff together, he'd do it himself dammit, cuz if a literal alien could do it, so could he) completely by accident. But of course, Loki, being Loki, made that election one for the history books.

There's 2 versions of this singular timeline. One where Steve Rogers wins, and one where Loki wins (that's the one that got pruned) and its comedic gold.

By the time Thor proves himself worthy and Odin allows Loki back in Asgard, Loki has already established a pretty solid life for themselves, out of Odin's and Thor's shadows, so now they all have to convince Loki to come back to Asgard.

Hiiii it's me again. One question I have is what information from 2010-2015 (or later) do you think is missing? I think there's still ample evidence online that Larry existed during the band (and possibly after) but there are also a lot of dead Tumblr/Twitter links. I saw on a Louis blog that there were UAs in the past who had close relationships with people working with 1D and the boys used to DM fans directly. (I'm not sure how true this is; I don't follow her since she thinks Harry purposely destroyed Louis' career and that's too conspiratorial for me). Was curious if you feel like there's missing evidence out there too, though.

An aside: I think that the reason this is reemerging is that Liam died and now the boys will probably have to publicly acknowledge 1D and the past in a way they haven't. All of them have been candid (to some extent) about 1D but have been able to create distance. And that distance has only grown with time. But now things are at the surface in a way they haven't been since 2015/16. It's a state of tense anticipation.

Hmmmm, not sure what you mean by "missing"? Larry absolutely existed during the band, those fuckers even talk about its origins, lolllll, and there's so much there, like full magazine spreads, magic living in gif form, etc. etc. I personally don't give too much credence to UAs getting exclusive access, it's more like terminally online people gonna terminally online, and receipts are bullshit, forever and always, but that said, I laff and laff about the UAs [??] who got to talk to a drunken Louis who went on about larries being insane, and god bless him, I cannot even IMAGINE what he goes through on that front, because whether they're together or apartTM, who wants someone in their face CONSTANTLY about it? It's actually interesting in the context of what happened with Liam, when you think about it, the ravenous, all-consuming, ever-hungry presence of a fanbase that is never satisfied, how much the pressure of that DID have an impact on Liam for sure, but it does for all of them. Nobody likes to admit their part in it, but you have to think how the relationship side of things absorbs that pressure and how inhumane it is on so many levels, all in the name of "support."

my d&d campaign is in its end days and so obviously i needed a greek choir to deliver the Big Prophecy I've been dropping clues about for 3.5 years. what does it mean??? what is yet to come??? can't tell you yet. i just work here.

tbh, organizing and editing this recording made me emotional. the fact that random (and not-so-random!!) people cared enough to contribute; the fact that the end result is beautiful and an act of collaboration. it's like a little microcosm of this ttrpg as a whole, of the things collective storytelling can bring out of us.

the reforged campaign means so so so much to me. that really sums it up, huh.

This election was decided by a Democratic candidate that refused to campaign on anything but "I'll do as little as possible to change anything" to an overwhelmingly dissatisfied population. You can blame every individual voter who didn't do what you wanted them to, or you can blame one actor we all knew was doing it wrong, who was yelled at for months that they were doing it wrong, and did it anyway. Are we really going to blame the political actors and system that created this situation or a public whose voice is repressed at every opportunity? Be serious

There's a little bit of cleanup work to do on these before I skip through the part of the tutorial I already went above and beyond and did myself without following instructions. Debating with myself if I want to do all this work over again with the other leaf textures I have from previous projects, so I can have leaf options on the vines...
