How I met your Father. | Bucky Barnes x f!reader
Pairings: Bucky Barnes x f!reader
Themes: Getting noticed by your crush. Pining from Reader.
Summary: You work at the cafe Bucky always goes to and you've had a crush on him for MONTHS.
A/N: Conntected with How's Retirement, Bucky? and Ouch, my face.
The bell above the door jingles as the early morning rush dwindles down, leaving only the occasional customer trickling in. You’re wiping down the counter, lost in thought, when your coworker, Emma, elbows you hard enough to make you stumble.
“Ow, what—” You shoot her a glare, but her eyes are wide, and she nods her head toward the door with a smirk.
“Guess who just walked in,” she whispers conspiratorially, her grin widening. “Mr. Grumpy Pants himself.”
Your heart does an involuntary flip, and your eyes dart to the entrance. Sure enough, there he is, all dark and brooding with that permanent scowl on his face. Bucky Barnes, the man who you’ve secretly—and very stupidly—had a crush on for the past three months.
“Oh my God, stop calling him that,” you hiss, but your voice is a pitch too high, giving you away instantly. You try to ignore the fact that your cheeks feel like they’re on fire.
Emma just chuckles and nudges you again, her voice teasing. “Come on, Y/N, everyone knows you’ve got it bad for him. You literally beam like a sunflower whenever he’s around.”
Another coworker, Lily, pokes her head out from behind the espresso machine and joins in. “Yeah, it’s like you’re part of some weird ‘grumpy guy fan club’ or something. He never even smiles, and you’re over here trying to win him over with puns and pastries.”
“Y’all are the worst,” you mutter, willing yourself to calm down. “And it’s not a fan club. It’s called being friendly.”
“Uh-huh, sure,” Emma drawls, winking. “Being friendly. That’s why you spend extra time drawing hearts in his latte foam.”
“I do not!” You glare at her, scandalized. “He doesn’t even order lattes!”
“Okay, but if he did,” she teases, “you’d find a way.”
“Shut up, he’s coming over,” you say under your breath, hurriedly pushing Emma and Lily away as you straighten up, forcing yourself to look composed and nonchalant.
Bucky walks up to the counter, his usual stoic expression firmly in place. He gives you a nod of acknowledgment, but not much more.
“Morning,” he grumbles.
“Good morning!” you chirp, and damn it, there’s that stupid sunflower smile on your face again. You catch Emma and Lily exchanging knowing looks behind the counter and pointedly ignore them. “Usual today?”
“Yeah, iced americano,” he replies, his voice that familiar low rumble.
You ring him up, trying to suppress the fluttery feeling in your chest. As you grab a cup and scribble his name on it (which you definitely didn’t write just a little fancier than everyone else’s), you decide to take a chance. You shoot him a playful look.
“Hey, did you hear about the coffee that got arrested?”
He blinks at you, his brows furrowing slightly. “No. Why?”
“It got mugged,” you say brightly, giving the punchline your best delivery, complete with a little ta-da gesture.
Silence. Bucky just stares at you, his expression unreadable. It’s like talking to a statue. You can practically feel Emma and Lily holding their breaths, waiting for his reaction.
“...Right,” he mutters finally, nodding slowly. “Mugged.”
You wilt a little but keep your smile plastered on. “Tough crowd, huh?”
“Yeah,” he replies, and for a second—just a split second—you think you see a flicker of something in his eyes, like amusement. Or maybe you’re imagining things.
You finish making his coffee, and as you hand it to him, Emma stage-whispers from behind the counter. “Come on, Mr. Barnes! Give her a break. She’s been working on those jokes all week.”
“Emma!” you hiss, mortified. Your eyes dart to Bucky’s, your heart hammering.
But instead of looking annoyed, he tilts his head, regarding you with a sort of curious intensity. “All week, huh?”
“Uh, yeah,” you admit sheepishly, clutching the edge of the counter. “I mean, not just for you or anything—”
“Yes, just for you,” Emma interjects, grinning wickedly. Lily nods enthusiastically, her eyes wide and teasing.
You shoot them both a murderous glare, and Bucky’s gaze flickers between the three of you. Then, to your complete and utter shock, he makes a sound. It’s barely audible—more of a huff than a laugh—but you catch it. Your eyes widen.
“Did you—” You lean forward, grinning uncontrollably. “Did you just laugh?”
“No.” He denies it immediately, shaking his head, but his lips twitch like he’s fighting off a smile.
“You did!” You point at him accusingly. “I heard it!”
“Keep dreaming, Y/N,” he mutters, but there’s something softer in his tone now. He glances down at his coffee cup, where your careful handwriting spells out ‘Bucky :)’ with a little smiley face beside it, it’s almost mocking his stubborn scowl.
He sighs—one of those heavy, put-upon sighs that he’s so good at—and looks back at you. “You’re persistent, I’ll give you that.”
“You have no idea,” you say with a grin. “And one of these days, I’m gonna make you smile for real. Just you wait.”
“Uh-huh.” He nods, raising an eyebrow as if to say I’d like to see you try. “Good luck.”
With that, he turns to leave, but just as he’s about to reach the door, he pauses. You’re still watching him, breathless and grinning like an idiot. He glances around the café, his eyes flicking to the stereo speakers mounted on the walls.
You follow his gaze, and that’s when you hear it: the soft, melodic intro to Sunflower by Post Malone. The lyrics drift through the air, the singer crooning about being left in the dust, a sunflower, and you feel a pang of embarrassment. Of course this song would start playing now.
Bucky’s gaze shifts back to you, and something changes in his expression. He looks at you—really looks at you—as if he’s putting together a puzzle that’s been right in front of him this whole time.
“See you tomorrow, sunflower,” he says, his voice lower, gentler.
You freeze, sure you’ve misheard him. “Wait—what?”
But he just smirks—smirks, like he knows something you don’t—and nods at the speakers. “You beam like one of those. Didn’t even need the song to tell me.”
He turns away, and you’re left standing there, staring at his retreating back as the door swings shut behind him. The café falls silent except for the soft chorus of the song. Emma and Lily stare at you, jaws practically on the floor.
“Did he just—”
“Yeah,” you breathe, still staring at the door. “He called me sunflower.”
Emma lets out a whoop, and Lily clutches her heart dramatically.
“Oh my God, Y/N, he’s so into you,” Emma squeals. “You broke Mr. Grumpy Pants! You did it!”
———
The door swings shut behind him, he makes it a few steps down the sidewalk before he slows to a stop, his coffee cup in his hand. He glances back over his shoulder, through the glass windows, where you’re still standing behind the counter, wide-eyed and speechless.
For a moment, he just stands there, watching you laugh as your coworkers swarm around, teasing you. You’re always like that—smiling, bright, never wavering in your ridiculous attempts to make him laugh. Even when he gives you nothing but deadpan responses and stony glares.
“Sunflower,” he murmurs under his breath, shaking his head. The word tastes strange on his tongue—soft, unfamiliar—but not unpleasant. He lets out a slow breath, and before he can stop himself, a small smile tugs at the corner of his lips.
“Damn,” he mutters to himself, turning away before anyone can catch him grinning like an idiot. “Persistent little thing.”
He takes another step, his smile growing. Maybe tomorrow, he’ll linger a little longer. See what other terrible jokes you’ve got up your sleeve.
After all, it’s not like he’s in a rush to go anywhere else.

I want you, Baby I need you
Summary: your friend tells you someone may like you and so stupidly, you begin to think about them a little differently
Pairing: Eddie Munson x Reader
Word count: 5.2k
A/N: I feel like my brain fog made the pacing weird :/
Warnings: bullying, girls being mean :(, lots of fluff and pining!!
Main Masterlist
Pt.2
“Guess what?” One of your teammates, Christina, asks the second you place your tray down on the table, looking too smug for your liking. Before you can even ask, she’s talking over you. “The freak has a crush on you.”
“Who?” You genuinely forget who she’s referring to for a second, but her scoff seems to jog your memory. “Oh. Eddie Munson?”
“Who else?” She sneers, and everyone else around you laughs like it’s some huge joke, but you’re certain she isn’t joking. “God, how embarrassing.”
Your cheeks burn as they laugh even harder. You let out a weak chuckle, feeling the world around you shrink and become suffocating.
“Yeah,” you let out, trying to play along. “Could you imagine? Me and him?”
You blatantly refuse to call him a freak. Since moving into town two years ago, you quickly learned city life and small town life were completely different worlds. Despite falling in with the semi-popular crowd by joining the swimming team, you understood the struggle Eddie and his friends had to go through. You weren’t freak status back home, but you weren’t popular either. Not always well known, but always well liked, and your new friends teasing him about the rumor makes you worry about it spreading. For your sake and not his. You don’t want to deal with any sort of teasing from anyone.
Guilt crawls up your throat as you steal a glance toward his table, catching his eye as he curiously looks on at the boisterous scene going on around you. You give a quick smile, which probably comes off as more of a wince, and turn back around. In all honesty, he hasn’t been on your radar. You don’t know much about him other than the fact that he’s loud, labeled The Freak of Hawkins High, and has made a scene or two in class.
“Oh god,” Christina sighs out, wiping nonexistent tears from her eyes. “Pathetic.”
Humming half heartedly, you focus on shoving your shitty school food around your tray instead of eating it, a sudden pit sitting heavy in your stomach. Because Eddie having a crush on you actually felt flattering.
You choose to sit next to him in English, even give a small smile when you sit. There’s still time before the bell rings, and you find yourself glancing over at him. You open and close your mouth, uncertain of what to say until the words suddenly come tumbling out.
“How many tattoos do you have?”
For a second he doesn’t realize you’re talking to him until the silence makes him look up and realize you’re staring straight at him, expectantly. He points to himself as if asking ‘me?’ eyebrows raised and his already wide doe eyes getting even wider. And you nod while fighting off a smile.
“Why d’you wanna know?” He eyes you suspiciously, certain that whatever information you’re about to get out of him is going to get back to your friends and fuel the constant fire over his head.
“I dunno,” you shrug a shoulder, but you’re honest. What the fuck were you supposed to say to Eddie Munson anyway? He was intimidating as hell because he put himself in the spotlight like it was nothing. It isn’t like you hate attention, but too much makes you nauseous. “Thinking about getting one, I guess?”
“You guess?” His head tilts, causing his hair to cascade over his shoulder. Of course he would be defensive. Christina was just making fun of him less than an hour ago.
“It’s- forget it,” you shake your head. You can’t believe you would trust your nasty, mean friends when they said he had a crush on you.
Turning back to the front of the classroom, you wait painfully for the bell to ring, and once it does, the room fills quickly with slightly out of breath students. A couple of your teammates wave at you until you finally break and they gesture wildly, asking ‘what the fuck are you doing sitting next to him?’ All you can do is give an apologetic shrug and decide you’ll lie to them later and say it was the only seat you could find. They just roll their eyes and pull out their textbooks.
“Five.” Eddie’s voice surprises you.
Turning your head, you hope no one sees when you ask. “Did they hurt?”
“No, ‘course not.” He bites back a smile, trying to act all tough.
“Liar.” Your nose scrunches and it makes him laugh at how cute it is.
You don’t mean to, truly, but now you look out for Eddie in the halls, stare at him during class, and hope for one more conversation. One that’s less embarrassing, but you do hope. Despite your friend's relentless teasing after English class the other day, you give a small wave back anytime he gives you one. You never initiate first, too shy and afraid it’ll lead to more teasing. This way you can just say you’re being polite when you wave back and they see, but more often than not, they’re too caught up in their own little worlds. Even though you’re scared they’ll tease, you keep an eye out for him and you learn more than you ever knew before. He’s polite. He lets the cheerleaders walk ahead if they bump into each other at a corner in the hall. One arm is tucked behind his back as he sweeps the other out and he bows a little. They give him weird looks respectively, but he just smiles and moves on. He might joke around with his friends, but if you listen closely, you can hear the kindness and compliments hidden underneath the meaning of his words. The group is small, but he holds the same amount of care for each and every one of them. Including his ‘little sheepies’ which you don’t fully understand, but he used a lot of words you don’t understand, and you thought you were smart. After a little investigating, you learn some of them are made up, but you seem to like the fact that he’s nerdy and into this series called Lord of the Rings.
You’re starting to like Eddie.
“Oh my God,” Christina moves in your line of sight, in front of him. You’d positioned yourself at the cafeteria table so you didn’t have to turn around to subtly watch him anymore. “Are you staring at the freaks?”
“Stop calling them that,” you roll your eyes. “You know I hate that.”
She crosses her arms defensively. “Just, you know, being honest. What’s so interesting about them anyway?”
“Nothing.” You mutter, going back to nibbling on the shitty cardboard pizza they served today.
She turns around and gets the biggest shit eating grin you’ve ever seen from her when her eyes connect with Eddie’s.
“Holy shit. You’ve got a crush on The freak!”
“Christina!” You swat at her, but it’s too late. Everyone else at your table already heard and is staring at you incredulously. “I- I do not.”
“Puh-lease. You’ve been making googly eyes at him for weeks at this point!”
“It hasn’t been weeks,” you mutter under your breath.
“Ew!” Another one of the girls scrunches her nose and jabs a thumb in his direction. “Him?”
“Better be careful, Y/N,” another taunts. “Don’t wanna find you in the woods. I heard he, like, sacrificed a girl out there last year. No one’s heard from her since.”
“Oh my god, me too!” Christina pretends to look concerned. “You think that’s what happened to Nancy’s friend too? What was her name? Bev?”
“Didn’t he like…” the girl to your left leans in and stage whispers, but she could be heard from across the room if you listened hard enough. None of them understood the concept of speaking at a normal volume. “Bite a bat's head off?”
“That was actually Ozzy Ozbourne!” Eddie leans so far back in the chair that the two front legs don’t touch the ground, one of his legs lifted so the bottom of his dirty Reebok’s supports his weight against the table.
You’re mortified at the idea that Eddie has heard every single word, but he was at the other end of the long table today.
“Ugh,” Christina rolls her eyes again before turning to face him. “As if we know that freak either!”
“Tina,” you hiss, not wanting to start a scene over this nonsense.
“Whatever. You don’t have a crush.” She fully faces the table again and starts talking about the party at Jason’s after the game on Friday.
You go to throw an apologetic look at Eddie, but find him missing from the table, and a couple of his friends send glares your way, making you shrink in shame.
Eddie isn’t in English, or History, and you find out through the grapevine he skips the rest of the day entirely. It wasn’t uncommon for him to do, but you feel like it’s your fault. The days leading up to the party, he seems to avoid you, eyes darting away quickly and showing up late enough to class that it’s guaranteed there’s no free seats around you. Christina seems to take notice of your sour mood, but only asks once. You lie and say you’re fine, but you feel sick to your stomach. You never actively partook in the bullying, but you never stopped it either.
The day of the game finally rolls around, filled with school spirit and a pep rally, but once again Eddie is nowhere to be found. Not that he’d ever attended a pep rally in his whole high school career, but you at least expected to spot him at lunch. He’s even absent from your shared classes. After school, you hang around in the parking lot, wasting time before you all have to go home and get ready for the game. You frown as you observe his friends, chatting away aimlessly and occasionally throwing candy around. They hang around what you think is Eddie’s van, but if he skipped all day, why would he be here now?
“Hey,” Christina’s voice surprises you, quiet and genuine. “Just us girls… you have a crush on Munson?”
“I…” you trail off, surprised she isn’t faking her valley girl voice, and you feel like you can trust her once again since you met her two years ago. She wasn’t your first friend in Hawkins, but you had been close when you first joined the team. “I dunno. He’s actually kinda sweet. Maybe?”
“Seriously?” And then she guffaws, catching you off guard once more. “Ugh, grody! Guys, Y/N actually has a crush on Munson!”
“I- I didn’t say that!” You can’t believe Christina would do something like that. As you watch them all laugh and tease, you wonder when they all got so mean and why you started letting them get away with it.
“You said maybe. That’s, like, totally a yes!”
“Like it’s such a bad thing to have a crush on me?”
Everyone quiets as you slowly turn around to find Eddie standing there, hands shoved in the pockets of his leather jacket.
“Eddie, I…” you aren’t even sure what to say as he glares down at you.
“I wouldn’t be caught dead hanging around you, Munson.” Christina’s voice makes you squeeze your eyes shut in frustrated embarrassment. “Even your parents couldn’t stand to stay around. Must be hard having a cultist son. Fucking embarrassing.”
The lot gets so quiet, you can hear the grinding of his teeth as he sets his jaw. He doesn’t even dignify her with a response, turning and walking away before anyone can see the red staining his cheeks.
“Tina… that was major harsh.” One of the girls breaks the silence.
“Oh, eat my shorts, Janice. Are we getting ready at my house or not?”
Everyone seems to hesitate but Christina was captain of the team. No one was going to say no. Well, no one but you.
“I’ve, um, got a thing. I’ll meet you guys at the game.” You glance over toward Eddie, watching as he harshly shoves his shoulder back to avoid one of his friends' hands.
You shouldn’t go to the game, but you do.
Janice called you from Christina’s house, sounding hopeful. You promised to be there, despite your whole body screaming at you to just stay home. Janice promises the whole thing will blow over by Monday, and something else will come along. But it won’t just blow over with Eddie. You know that. He had looked so hurt when you turned around to face him. In all the years of getting bullied, that was the first time he showed anyone what their words did to him. And it was your fault.
You had promised Janice you’d be there, but when you stand outside the gymnasium, you can’t make yourself go in. Can’t make yourself face who you thought were your friends. So, you walk down a path between the large building and the school and take out a key. The pool was somewhat separated, but you could still hear the muffled band playing when you entered the echoey room. You keep a spare swimsuit in your locker for this exact situation. The sport helped clear your mind and you needed to get rid of the image of Eddie’s broken look.
You swim even after the cheering and the band stops. You swim until you feel like your limbs are going to fall off, and even though you don’t want to, you shower off the chlorine. As you step out into the somewhat cool autumn air, a double door bursts open, and the kids that come spilling out make you stop.
His little sheepies. Which means…
Fuck.
Eddie is the last one out, smile so wide you can’t help but wonder if it hurts. They all talk over each other, but Eddie just seems to watch over in pride. You take a step back into the shadows, hoping your bright multicolored windbreaker doesn’t give you away.
“Hey!” Is that… Steve Harrington? “You guys were supposed to be done an hour ago.”
“The campaign ends when it ends, Steve!” One of them retorts back.
“Yeah, well, I don’t have all night Henderson. Let’s go!”
All three freshmen rush to Steve’s BMW and scramble inside. He and Eddie share a nod before he gets in and peels out of the lot, and you can still hear all of them shouting in excitement. The other three seniors exchange goodbyes before parting ways, but Eddie sticks behind. Neither of you move until all the cars are gone except for his van and yours. Why the fuck hasn’t he moved?
“Is it just you?” Eddie finally speaks, turning toward your piss poor excuse of a hiding spot. “Or is the rest of the team waiting somewhere?”
“I’m- I’m alone.” It scares you once you realize you’re the only two on the property. Probably the only two within a few miles at this point. “Look, I’m really sorry about them. Christina especially. I don’t know when she got so…”
“Bitchy?”
That makes you breathe out a laugh, not realizing you were holding your breath. “Yeah, I guess you could say that.”
It’s quiet for a moment as he shifts his weight to his other leg, observing you and the whole situation.
“Do you want to sit by the pool and talk?” It’s starting to feel pretty creepy outside, and the cold night wasn’t helping your wet hair.
“I thought it was locked after hours.”
You hold up the bronze key, but offer up an explanation anyway. “My uncle is actually the coach. He got me into swimming competitively in the first place. Technically I’m not allowed to bring friends in but…”
“Good thing I’m not really a friend.” He walks past you and you’re a bit frozen in place, not believing he accepted.
You’re nervous as you unlock the door once more and wave him inside like he would but you give an awkward curtsy. As he’s turning in a small circle to take in how the water reflects off the walls and ceiling, you slip off your shoes and roll up your jeans as far as you can go. He begins to do the same when he sees you sticking your feet in the water.
“Jesus Chri-! That’s cold!” His voice bounces off the walls, and your laughter follows.
“Well, yeah, most pools are.” You tuck your hands underneath your thighs and move your right leg around in small circles, disrupting the water. “Didn’t see you at the game.”
“That kind of stuff is bullshit. Forced conformity.” Before he goes on a rant, he looks at the sly smile on your face, as if you were going to enjoy this topic of conversation. But he knew you’d react either of two ways if he kept on. Confused, or freaked out. So he leans back on his palms and tries to act casual. “And if I’m guessing right, you weren’t there either.”
“Didn’t feel like it.” You give a halfhearted shrug. “Christina really… what she said about your parents— I just don’t see her the same anymore. I don’t know how it happened, but she just got so mean, and everyone’s too scared to say anything because she's the captain. Sorry, I’m- ranting.”
“Christina wasn’t far off.”
The admission bounces around as you look at him.
“Eddie…”
“It was forever ago.” He kicks the water, causing a small splash. “Aren’t you co-captain anyway?”
“Yeah? So?” You didn’t think he would know that, and it makes you feel all mushy inside that he knows something so simple about you.
“So don’t you have us much say as her?”
“With her tyrannical rule? No way.”
“No shame in running, but sometimes you gotta be the hero.”
“Yeah,” you scoff. “I’m sure getting to Mordor would be easier than standing up to Christina.”
“You’ve read…?”
“No.” That’s a half lie. “Well, sorta. I haven’t gotten very far. I don’t know if it’s my thing, but you talk about it so much, I wanted to check out all the hype.”
Eddie looks taken aback, mouth hung open.
“Is that what dungeons and dragons is?” You ask curiously, which seems to take him back even more. “I mean everybody says it’s bad, but it’s just nerd shit, right? Sorry, I didn’t mean—“
“It is nerd shit.” He straightens his back at the new topic of conversation. “All it is, is tabletop fantasy role play. Doesn’t have to be like Lord of the Rings. You could have a whole western fantasy campaign. Maybe even in space.” He’s ranting, and god does he know it, but you lean in instead of awkwardly looking away like everyone else does.
“Campaign…?”
“Well, it’s…” Eddie thinks for a moment before explaining in the most simple of terms how a campaign works. You nod along, enthralled by every detail, even when he derails and starts rambling about character class and stats. He rambles on about their current campaign to help explain better, and he uses silly voices and moves animatedly. You laugh, but not at him. He continues to tease, loving your laugh and that you aren’t making fun of him. His arms flail a bit and he gives a few teasing nudges, but in his excitement he forgets his strength.
“Wait, Eddie-!” You fall in the water, grabbing on to him in an attempt to stop, but end up pulling him down with you. The both of you come up spluttering, but you end up laughing at the mop of hair on his head.
“Shit,” he laughs nervously. “It’s deep.”
“Wait. Can you swim?”
“Well, I’m no athlete, but yeah. I can swim.”
“Well…” you swim forward, a sly smile creeping its way onto your face. “Might as well, right? We’re already in here. You’ll want your jacket off, though. It’s gonna be too much dead weight.”
“Right, I’ll uh…”
“Here, I’ll keep us afloat while you get it off.”
Before he can understand what’s happening, you wrap your arms around his waist, your face entirely too close to his. With what little space you have, you can see freckles splashing across his face, and you chew on the inside of your cheek to keep your composure. He avoids eye contact as he struggles out of the leather, the tip of his tongue making a surprise appearance, before tossing the jacket aside and it lands with a loud wet slap.
“Cool. Now good luck catching me!” You splash him a little harsher than you had intended, but you make a dash to escape.
“You’re gonna regret that!”
You’re a lot better at swimming than he is, almost too fast to be caught, but you slow down after awhile on purpose. As his hand wraps around your ankle, making you squeal, you tell yourself you did it to not wear him out and frustrate him. That you didn’t want to anger him, as he’s pulling you into him and dunking both of you under water. You struggle against his arms, but he’s strong. You can feel the unexpected muscle against your hands, but he lets you go too soon and you both come up gasping for air.
“Told ya.” water sprays a bit from his mouth as his chest heaves.
“You cheated.”
“I never cheat, sweetheart.” He wades toward you slowly, dropping down just until his mouth sinks into the water.
“Eddie Munson, don’t you dare,” you warn but your tone is too light. “You dunk me again, I’ll- I’ll make sure you smell like chlorine for a week.”
He doesn’t listen, and you swim backward until your back crashes into the tiled wall. The cold sends a shiver down your spine. Definitely not the way Eddie comes back up, water dripping from his chin and his arms blocking you in on either side of you. His eyes drop to your lips and you find yourself breathing heavily for a completely different reason, your chest brushing against his with every inhale. Neither of you make a move, just admiring every detail you can while breathing each other's air. Just when you think he might, a loud bang comes from one of the locker rooms, making you both jump and look around frantically. You find yourself gripping one of his forearms tightly in shock.
“We should- we should probably get out.” No one else had access to the pool except your uncle, but you doubted he would come by at midnight. He trusted you to not fool around, and you really hadn’t let him down until now. “I swear the locker rooms are haunted.”
Still, you don’t move until he does, and swim to the nearest ladder to get out. The only sound is the water from your clothes dripping on the floor, and suddenly you feel exhausted. Your clothes feel heavy as they cling to your skin. Without discussing it, you both start peeling your clothes off, slightly turned away to give each other privacy. As you’re wringing out your shirt, you can’t help but glance over your shoulder at Eddie, and catch the way his shoulder blades move while he does the same. His eyes catch yours and you smile sheepishly before turning back around. You’re both down to your underwear, unsure of how to proceed.
“We should shower. Alone I mean. You can go to the boys’. There’s towels.” You speed walk away, too self conscious to hang around too long.
“Wait!” He follows you quickly, careful not to slip. “You’re just gonna drop the fact that the locker rooms are haunted and then leave me alone to fend for myself?”
Your footsteps slow, and you let out a small huff because you know you know you’ll feel guilty until the end of time if you do that to him.
“There’s going to be rules, Munson.”
“Oh, of course.” He agrees quietly.
“We go in at the same time and undress fully in our own shower. You’re not to come out until I have, and even then, you’re not to look anywhere but your own shower. When I say it’s okay, you can leave, got it?”
“I think you forgot the part about the towels.”
“Do not make me regret this.”
You’ve never been so self conscious showering until now. Even with a zero percent chance of Eddie seeing you naked, you worry, but you also think about the fact that he’s in the same exact state you’re in right now. That somehow makes the whole thing feel way too intimate, and you can’t believe the first time you got to hang out with your -possible- crush, you both end up naked. If that basic, no detailed rumor got out, you’d surely die of embarrassment. Turning around, you place your face underneath the stream of water, trying so hard to not think about the small glimpse of his torso that you got. The dark patch of hair sneaking underneath his boxers that clung to his thighs from the water.
“So, are you from Hawkins?” His voice brings you out of your wandering thoughts. You quickly turn the knob from hot to cold in hopes that it keeps you calm.
“My parents are.” Looking down, you watch the water swirl around at your feet. “My grandmother got sick and my uncle couldn’t take care of her by himself. So, we packed up and moved back here, but I can tell my parents are happy to be back home. It’s less demanding than the city.”
“The uncle being coach thing makes a lot more sense now.”
“Not a lot of people know actually.” You turn the water off completely, and wrap your arms around your torso self consciously. “I’m getting out now.”
It isn’t the easiest topic of conversation, but when she had first gotten sick two years ago, your mother went to stay with her for the three months she had been told she would live. When it was clear she was going to hang on longer than expected, they decided it would just be better to move permanently and the old lady was still sticking around. Despite being so sick, you liked hanging out with her most afternoons. Even if she forgot who you were.
You carefully walk out of the shower, towel wrapped around yourself tightly, and as you pass by the stall that Eddie is in, you catch a glimpse in the crack between the curtain and wall. All you manage to catch is the back of his head, arms extended upward to wash out whatever shampoo you’d let him borrow. He begins to turn and you look away with your cheeks burning. You attempt to dry your hair underneath one of the hand dryers, and it isn't long when Eddie comes out, damp boxers back on and using the towel you gave him to rub his hair dry. He pauses seeing you kneeled down, holding the towel to your chest so that nothing gets exposed and he realizes he forgot to wait for your okay, but you don’t seem to mind as you give a soft smile.
“I’ll grab our clothes.” He says when the dryer finally turns off and leaves you to get somewhat decent.
He’s suddenly so quiet as he hands over your clothes, no witty comment or joke as the two of you get dressed. All there is between you are stolen glances and nervous smiles. Once fully clothed again, you walk beside him, feeling a little stiff. Not from how your cold clothes stick to you, but from nerves. The soft lights from the pool make his face glow, and your stomach drops in the best way possible. He gets the door for you, and waits with his hands stuffed in his jacket as you lock up. The grass crunches underneath your footsteps, dry from the temperature and lack of rain. Neither of you speak, until you hit the parking lot, cars too far from each other to continue walking together.
“Were they right?” You ask before he gets a chance to escape, arms anxiously crossed over your chest. “My friends. ‘Cause if they were… I think I have one too.”
“Have what?”
Shit. You were too vague.
“A crush, dummy.”
Realization dawns on his face as he absorbs your confession. He can’t believe it, and the worst smallest part of him thinks you’ve done this whole thing as a joke, and someone is going to pop out with a camera to capture how big of an idiot he’s been. All that happens is you chew on your bottom lip, anxiously waiting for an answer, and he's leaving your heart out in the open for too long.
“Yes, yeah, they were right.” He watches how you smile and takes a mental image to last forever. “I’m not really quiet about anything.”
“I just never expected…” you shake your head and look at your feet. “You. You’ve just so suddenly become this big thing in my life.”
Eddie barely has to take a step to be close enough to take your face in his hands and lift your head up to pull you into a searing kiss. It’s so unexpected that you laugh in surprise against his lips, but he smiles at the sound. When you’ve settled down, you move your arms around his neck, pulling him closer, eager to feel his heartbeat slow to match the rhythm of your own. He kisses you so sweetly, you really do think he’s a gentleman. A quick slip of his tongue doesn’t change your mind either.
“If you don’t stop me,” he gets out between kisses. “We’ll be here all night sweetheart.”
“I like that idea,” you tease as his lips move along your jawline, and down your neck. Your eyelids flutter closed, and you focus on every feeling.
Eddie pulls back, showing some self restraint and you almost whine at the loss of contact.
“You’re gonna get a cold if you stay out here.”
“So will you!”
“I’m going to walk you to your car, and you’re going to go home and get all snuggled in bed, okay?” He traces your bottom lip with his thumb, the ghost of a smile ever present.
“Fine.”
Eddie takes your hand, intertwining your fingers together, and walks the short distance to your car. You make no move to enter, back pressed against the driver side door, and grab him by his jacket. He braces himself with one arm, looking down at you, his other hand stroking your cheek with the back of his pointer finger. The featherlight touch makes you shiver, and you find yourself getting lost in his almost pitch black eyes. Those eyes that are so beautiful and full of lashes, that a cow would be jealous. You pull him in for another kiss, arms wrapping underneath his jacket and around his small waist. He groans into your mouth, not wanting to leave if you were going to kiss him slowly like that.
“I’m personally thanking Christina on Monday.” He gives your knuckles a quick kiss before taking a few steps backwards, not wanting to look away, and turning for his own vehicle.
Christina’s head almost explodes when he does exactly that and plants a kiss on your lips in the cafeteria, but you just act innocent when you take his outstretched hand and move to sit with him at his table. It felt good, and it felt even better when you give her the finger when she wouldn’t stop staring.

Incurable Cravings (Chapter Two)
(GIF by goodtitsbigheart)
Pairing: Regina x Reader
Warnings: makes reference to previous explicit content, mention of eating disorder, mild angst/arguing
Word Count: 2500, Part 2/?
Part 1 / Part 3
Regina and Reader reflect on their past as they try to be close again.
This is now an AU where Regina George and Leighton Murray are twin sisters split up in a custody battle.
Regina turned the light in the closet on and pulled her phone out. She examined herself in the camera app and adjusted the way her hair fell around her shoulders, “meet me at my car after school.”
You watched her apply a fresh layer of lip gloss and touch up the edges of her lips then she met your eyes, “this is the part when you respond.”
“Oh, yeah… okay. I’ll meet you.”
Regina put her phone away and stood up straighter as she reached out and began fixing your hair and swiped her thumb over your lips, removing the traces of her lip gloss from your skin, “I’ve always liked your hair… it’s not fair that you have these curls naturally,” she mused.
“Thanks…” you whispered softly.
“Why are you being all weird now?”
“What? I’m not being weird.”
The blonde rolled her eyes and crossed her arms in front of her chest, “yes, you are. Just a minute ago, you were being all bold, like I’ve never seen from you before. Now, you’re all terrified and squirrely.”
“I’m just… processing.”
“Well, do that shit later. It’s ruining your glow.”
“What does that even mean?”
“Nevermind.” Regina put her tube of lip gloss back in her bag and then slipped past you to exit the janitor’s closet, “My car. After school. Don’t disappoint me.”
She didn’t give you time to issue a response. She left you and strutted off to show up fashionably late to her 5th period class.
You took a deep breath. Your mind was reeling but Regina was probably right, you should put it all out of your mind for now. At least until school was over. At least until the two of you could talk more in depth about what happened, which, you prayed you would have the chance to talk later when you met her for whatever she was planning.
You slipped out of the closet and began to head in the opposite direction of Regina, toward your locker, until you were grabbed by your shirtsleeve and pulled aside.
You sighed when you saw who it was: Janis.
She stared at you, as if expecting you to immediately offer an explanation.
“Janis, what?” You asked, annoyed.
“What do you mean ‘what?’ What the fuck just happened between you and Regina?”
“How is that any of your business? You haven't talked to me for three years and now you just expect me to spill?”
Janis relaxed at that, “well… I guess I just thought, when it comes to Regina…”
“Well you thought wrong, Janis. I’m late for class.” You pulled yourself out of the girl’s grip and walked away.
You felt bad for being cold to Janis, but Regina was the reason your friendship didn’t survive in the first place. There was no way that you’d be able to get along now that it was even more complicated. Janis would have to figure out how to be okay on her own.
The rest of your day seemed to move at a snail's pace. You watched the clock as you sat through your calc and stats classes, waiting for the dismissal bell to finally ring and let you go.
You’d never packed up and got out of the building faster. A quick text to your mom of “going to study at a friends’” was enough to explain why you weren’t coming straight home, and like an obedient little puppy, you walked over to Regina’s Jeep in the student parking lot.
She was there waiting for you, leaning against her door and swinging her keys around her index finger, “good, you still know how to listen.”
You raised an eyebrow at her, “where are we going?”
“My house, duh.”
“Kay. I bet your mom will be surprised to see me.”
Regina sighed, “I’d rather her not see you at all… but that’s unlikely… just get in, will you?”
You started to make your way around to the passenger side, “No Gretchen or Karen?”
She gave you a judgemental expression, “did you somehow lose all of your sense when you fucked me? Jesus Christ… no. It’s just us.”
“Jeez, sorry Gina.”
“I thought I told you not to call me that,” Regina sat in the driver’s seat and turned the engine on, “whatever.”
You got in and Regina turned the radio on before leaning over and buckling you in herself. The simple act gave you butterflies. You cleared your throat and turned away from her while she checked herself out in the rearview mirror and put on her sunglasses.
“Ready?”
You nodded and then she peeled out of the parking lot. Once she was on a long stretch of road, she took one hand off the wheel and put it on your thigh. Your breath caught in your throat and you stayed quiet and still for a minute but then couldn’t help but break the silence when she came up to a red light.
“When was the last time I was at your house, do you think?” You were being deceptive by asking. You knew exactly when the last time you were there was.
“I don’t remember,” she shrugged. It was barely perceptible but you caught it, her eyebrow twitched. She was lying. She remembered, too.
The last time you were at your house was also the last time you were all together. It was the party.
Spin the bottle was Regina’s suggestion because of course it was. You and Janis had no idea that Regina had a plan to manipulate the entire night. Regina knew that Janis was in love with her, but Regina didn’t want her to be and she was pissed off at Janis for something.
Like always, Regina got exactly what she wanted. She spun the bottle and it landed on Janis. Regina kissed her and then immediately stabbed Janis in the gut, revealing the brunette’s crush in a very painful way. Regina pretended to make it about some guy, but it wasn’t about the guy at all.
Janis ran off crying. You glared at Regina and said, “that was awful, Gina,” and began to run after Janis but Regina stood up and grabbed you, dragging you to her bedroom before you could comfort Janis.
Regina squeezed your arm and shut her bedroom door. You couldn’t help but chuckle at the memory, apparently this was a pattern for the two of you.
“Why are you mad at me? I did this for us, now it can just be you and me.”
“What are you talking about, Regina?” You asked.
“Aren’t you sick of Janis’ stupid crush ruining our time together?”
“I never said anything like that! Janis is our friend! You shouldn’t have done that, Gina.”
“Well, I don’t care. It’s done. I’m done with her.”
After that, everything went to shit. Janis was a wreck. Regina was a nightmare. You couldn’t be in the middle of it anymore. Any hope you might have had of the three of you recovering was dashed in the chemistry lab fire incident.
You went your separate ways, then. You never really forgave Regina but she wouldn’t leave you alone. Janis avoided you both like the plague most of the time. You knew that something crazy happened last school year when that new girl, Cady Heron, came to school, leading up to Regina’s accident. But you honestly took it as a reprieve. Your academic stress last year was killing you, so having Regina off of your back was wonderful. But that didn’t stop you from leaving a basket of her favorite treats on her front porch while she was recovering. You didn’t know what else to do.
Regina pulled into her driveway and you looked up at her house in awe. Had it gotten bigger?
Regina got out and came over to open your door for you, “come on.”
You followed her inside and Ms. George was right there waiting for her daughter’s arrival. The woman nearly dropped her glass of wine in shock, “oh my fucking god is that who I think it is?!” She screeched and ran forward, setting her wine glass down before trapping you in a hug.
“Hi, it’s nice to see you again,” you said, awkwardly patting her back.
She squeezed you and shook your body side to side then pulled away, “let me get a good look at you, oh my goodness, you’re even prettier! Don’t you think so, Regina?”
“Mom, can you like, chill, please? Jesus…”
“Sorry baby,” Ms. George let you go at that point, “well, welcome home, sweetheart. I’m so glad you’re back. You two have fun, I’ll be up with snacks in a minute.”
Regina grabbed your hand and dragged you up the stairs to her room. It was frighteningly easy to fall back into old habits. You set your bag down in the same spot as you always did and crashed onto her luxe bed like you always used to, while Regina examined herself in her floor length mirror.
Regina poked and prodded at her face and neck for a moment and then Ms. George came into the room with a tray of food.
“Here you go, my lovelies,” she set the tray down on the bed, “and I brought your meds, honey.”
Regina flashed her mom a glare and then returned her attention to herself in the mirror. Ms. George sat criss cross on the bed across from you.
“Thank you so much, I’m starving,” you said, helping yourself to the chips and juice.
“What have you been up to lately?? Regina never talks about you anymore, tell me everything! Are you dating anyone?”
You laughed, “I haven’t been up to much besides school, if I’m being honest. I’m making college plans and trying to do some more volunteering on my breaks. I’m not dating anyone right now,” you glanced at Regina quickly and you caught her raising her eyebrow curiously, “don’t have time.”
Ms. George asked you some questions about college stuff and then Regina shooed her away. The blonde came and sat down on her bed and took the small medicine cup off of the tray and dry swallowed the small handful of pills all at once.
You gave her a look.
“What?” she asked.
“Come on, what’s going on?” you gestured to the cup as she set it back down.
Regina rolled her eyes, “it’s just stuff I have to take now, since the accident. Painkillers and stuff for my heart, don’t worry about it.”
You frowned, “you can’t tell me not to worry.”
“Can you drop it, please? I’m not in the mood.”
“Fine.” You helped yourself to more food, “aren’t you hungry?”
“No,” she said, shrugging. She started scrolling through her phone absentmindedly.
“Regina…” you began.
“What is your problem?”
“Are you… you know…”
“Am I what? Do you think I can read your mind?”
“Are you restricting again?”
“I’m sorry, does fucking me make you think that you suddenly have the right to be on my case now? Back off, will you?”
“Then what the fuck is this? We can have sex but I can’t care, now? Is that it?”
“I don’t know!” She snapped, smacking the mattress out of anger. “I don’t know, okay?”
You didn’t say anything. You didn’t know either. You had no idea what the fuck this was. You leaned back against her pillows and sighed, “I’m sorry, Gina.”
“I’m sorry, too.”
“I just… if I’m going to be in your life again, I hope you’ll talk to me. Like we used to… that’s all.”
“I understand… I’m just not used to it anymore.”
You nod.
“Can we work up to it?” She looked at you with wide eyes. There she was. That vulnerable, sweet Regina that you used to know.
You smiled softly, “yeah.”
Regina slid closer to you on the bed and cuddled into your side, letting you wrap your arm around her back. She opened tiktok and started scrolling through her fyp with you.
You rested together for another half hour and then you convinced her to let you work on homework and she even let you help her with her math assignment.
“It makes so much more sense when you explain it,” she said. Successfully solving a problem.
“I charge fifteen dollars an hour for tutoring,” you tease.
“Oh shut the fuck up,” she shoved your shoulder and chuckled, “I’ll pay in kisses.”
“Oh, really?”
“Mhmm… is that acceptable?”
“Hmm…” you grin, “I think some kind of kisses payment plan can be arranged…”
Regina leaned in and gave you a light peck on the mouth. You smiled and turned your attention back to your book.
“You know, don’t think that this makes up for the past three years of relentless bullying you’ve subjected me to…”
She smirked, “you would be a lot more convincing if I actually believed that a part of you didn’t enjoy it the whole time.”
You stuck out your tongue at her and she mirrored the gesture. You both laughed and you felt grateful that it felt light and easy at this moment.
The sun began to set and you finished up with your homework.
“Gina…”
“What?”
So, Janis tried to confront me in the hallway earlier… after we left the closet…”
Regina groaned, “of fucking course she did… she just won’t give up.”
“You hurt her… really bad… I mean, can we blame her?”
“It’s not like she’s fucking innocent!”
“What even happened that pissed you off so much? You never told me…”
The blonde rolled her eyes, “it’s a long story… and not mine to tell. It had to do with Leighton.”
“Leighton? Your sister, Leighton?”
“Yeah, who else?”
“Sorry, I just didn’t know Leighton and Janis had anything to do with each other.”
“Like I said, it’s a long story. All you need to know is that Janis dug her own grave and she should have known that I was gonna burn her for hurting my baby sister.”
“Your twin sister,” you corrected.
“I’m older,” she responded indignantly, “I’ll tell you more if Leighton says it’s okay.”
“Alright. How often do you two get to talk nowadays?”
“Not as often as we’d like. And we never get to see each other because mom and dad can’t even communicate. We have plans for being more in touch after graduation.”
You nod. She continues, “I’m worried it will be weird, though. I mean, we’ve had our own lives for almost five years now. She already knows where she’s going to school… early decision to Essex… I just feel like we’re the ultimate nature versus nurture experiment and now it’s like we’re not even related.”
“She’ll always be your sister. I’m sure you have more in common than you think.”
Regina nods slowly, not meeting your eyes. You hear Ms. George shout from downstairs that dinner is ready.
“Gina, promise me you’ll eat something. For me, okay?” You give her your best puppy-dog eyes in hopes of convincing her.
“I hate when you do that…”
“Pretty please?”
“Fiiiiine… ugh, I hate you.”
“I lo-” you catch yourself and pause, “I care about you… that’s all.”
She leads the way downstairs and you don’t know if she noticed your slip up.

TODOROKI x READER - SECRETS
As soon as they saw him 'accidentally' burn his UA outfit on the shoulder, they knew something was wrong. Todoroki would never do something like that.
"Midoriya, ask him what's wrong." Mina pushes the boy toward his friend.
"Hey Shoto, is everything alright? You've been acting strange." Shoto perks up at this and looks at Izuku.
"What do you mean?" Todoroki's leg was bouncing.
As Izuku was about to say something else, Sero tapes his mouth shut and stands next to Izuku.
"Sorry about that." Sero pulls the boy along until Shoto goes back to studying or whatever he was doing to distract himself.
"What the hell was that Izuku?!" You find yourself listening in on the group sitting directly in front of you.
"You told me to ask him." He gets hit over the head by Bakugo and then they continue whispering.
"Let me try." Momo gets up and approaches Todoroki.
"Hey, Todoroki. Do you want to study after class is finished?" He looks up at her.
"Uh, sorry, I can't."
"Why not? You owe me study time you know."
"I'm...I'm going out with family to a dinner. Apparently, I can't miss another one of those. Sorry." His foot is tapping yet again.
You shake your head at the group's antics and continue to focus on your work. The bell rings and you quickly pack your things. A hand slams down on your desk, startling you.
"In a hurry, L/n?" You simply nod and hurry to pack the last of your belongings.
You didn't have to look up to know it was Bakugo. Bakugo quickly snatches the notebook off of your desk and holds it above his head.
"Can I have it back please? I'm really in a hurry." You hold out your hand, waiting for him to give it to you.
"I just noticed how weird you're acting too. You know anything about Icy-Hot?" He moves his eyes to Todoroki then back to you.
"Why are you asking me? We don't even talk to each other." You send him a glare and using your quirk, you grab your notebook from his fingers.
You leave the room and quickly make your way to the dorms to get ready for your date. You look at yourself in the mirror and you know you look fabulous. A ding turns your attention to your phone, a text from Todoroki.
'Check your balcony.'
You simply shake your head while letting a small laugh leave your lips and open the door to your outdoor abode. As you look around, you see an ice slide that he created for you both to escape your dorms. He was at the bottom, giving you a small wave. You wave back and then let yourself glide on the slide.
"Well, you dress up nice. Let's go!" You pull him along as you both run through the woods to get to where you need to be.
ₓ˚. ୭ ˚○◦˚.˚◦○˚ ୧ .˚ₓ
Mina runs into the living room area of the dorms where almost everyone resided and opens the curtains to show them what she saw from her balcony.
"Todoroki left!" Everyone was flabbergasted, he would never.
"What if he's just playing with us." Everyone looks at Kaminari like he just said the stupidest thing in the world.
"He doesn't know how to play people!"
"Damn! Sorry!" Mina was already grabbing her jacket and throwing on her sneakers.
"Where are you going?"
"To spy on Todoroki! Are you guys coming or not?!"
All of sudden, the people who were still awake started to grab their things and put on their shoes.
"Let's go!"
ₓ˚. ୭ ˚○◦˚.˚◦○˚ ୧ .˚ₓ
"I'm so glad we made it to the reservation." You smile at your boyfriend lovingly as he does the same.
It was a beautiful venue, you wondered where he got the money to pay for this. probably from Daddy's wallet The stars twinkled onto the candlelit balcony where you both sat. He scootches his chair a bit to be closer to you as he holds your hand in his.
"You know I really do care about you." Shoto presses a gentle kiss to the back of your hand while looking at you.
"You're just new to this and it's okay, we all have our firsts." Your other hand is placed on top of his.
You kiss his knuckles and smile at him, the stars illuminating both of your eyes. As your hand moves off of his, he brings his hand up to the side of your cheek. You look into his pretty eyes; it was the first time he was initiating something like this.
"Can I kiss you?" You smile and watch as his lips turn into a soft smile.
"Shoto, you want to waste your first kiss on me? Are you sure?" You joke, looking away to the stars before he gently turns your face, so you look at him directly.
"I wouldn't want to kiss anyone else; I'll savor the moment forever."
That makes you smile even more until he starts to lean his head in and closes his eyes. The moment feels different than the cuddles and hugs, it's intense. Your eyes flutter shut as do his as your lips connect into a kiss. One of your hands resting on his shoulder while the other goes through his hair, messing it up slightly. His hand still rests on your cheek while the other is on your waist.
Soon you both pull away, slightly swollen lips and little grins on your faces.
"That was really... good. You sure it's your first time kissing someone?" That makes him let out a light chuckle.
"Yes, I'm sure. I want another." You both lean in again but you look to the right and see Uraraka hovering in the air, snapping pictures of you both.
"WHAT THE FUC-"
ₓ˚. ୭ ˚○◦˚.˚◦○˚ ୧ .˚ₓ
After walking to the perfect spot to watch Todoroki at his 'family dinner', they climb into a high enough tree to see what's happening and if he lied to them.
"Guys, what if it is a family gathering?" Izuku asks, playing with his hands nervously.
"Then we leave, but it's obviously not. He was acting wayyy too nervous about it when we asked." Mina tells Izuku.
The continue to sit in the tree until they see him sit at the table with-
"Oh my god! Is that Y/n?" Sero squints his eyes as well as everyone else.
Momo makes binoculars and holds them up to her eyes, pointing them at the table Todoroki sat at. Her mouth dropped and it was confirmed, he lied and he was going out with you.
"Hey, Ochaco. Wanna do something real quick?" Mina asks with a smile.
ₓ˚. ୭ ˚○◦˚.˚◦○˚ ୧ .˚ₓ
"I can't believe you guys spied on us." Your arms were crossed over your chest while you walked back to UA with the group.
"You both were acting weird, we needed to know what happened to the both of you." Mina stated.
"Well now you know."
As you approach the doors of the dorms, Mr. Aizawa was standing at the entrance.
"Thank you for letting us go out tonight." You and Shoto walk by Aizawa, he gives the both of you a small nod.
"All of you who went out will have early morning training." Everyone groans, watching the two of you walk away free.
"Why don't they get in trouble?"
"They asked."

THIS WONT STAY IN VEGAS {part 3}
Pairing: Charles Leclerc x Female!Reader
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3
Summary: You went clubbing with your friend, celebrating her moving to Vegas. You got drunk and don't remember anything. The next morning you find yourself in bed with a stranger and a ring around your finger
Words: 7.7k
Warnings: Alcohol, cursing, smut, not proof read.
18+, please don’t read in you’re underage
do not copy, rewrite or translate any of my work on any platforms.
You stand there by the sink, left puzzled by Arthur’s cryptic words. You try to remember who Alexandra is, but nothing comes to mind. The name doesn’t ring a bell.
----------
As you're walking back to Charles' room your mind suddenly reminded you that you do know her, well not personally. You remember reading something about her being his ex girlfriend during that google search you did on your way to the airport.
As you enter the room, you see Charles laying on the bed, his phone in his hand. “Hey” you say as you walk over and lay next to him. By this point none of you found it weird or uncomfortable to spend time together, it was like second nature to always be close to each other. Mostly because you had to keep the act up in front of Pascal. Also you simply enjoyed each other's company, but you'd never admit that to yourself.
Charles looks up from his phone as you enter the room, a soft smile forming on his lips. "Hey" he replies, setting his phone aside. He watches as you plop down on the bed, his eyes following your movements. “Guess what” you say, lifting your head to look over at him. Charles rolls onto his side to face you, his interest piqued by your tone. "What?" he asks, his gaze fixed on your face. “Arthur knows” you say in a surprisingly casual tone. Charles' eyes widened in surprise at your words. He wasn't expecting that. "Wait, what?! How does he know?" he asks, extremely confused as to why you’re so calm. “He overheard our conversation from three days ago, but he said he didn’t really care and he promised he wouldn’t tell anyone”. Charles takes a moment to absorb the information, relief washing over him at the fact that Arthur had promised to keep the secret. "Well that's good at least" he sighs. "The last thing we need is the media or my mom finding out."
You respond with a slight guilt in your voice “Yeah, I think your mom likes me which makes this whole thing even more complicated than it already is” Charles nods in agreement, sadness in his expression. "She does, she loves every little thing about you." He reaches out and takes your hand in his, his fingers tracing your ring. "It's hard because she would be upset with both of us if she knew the truth." You sigh at his words, know "Right," he says quietly, disappointment in his voice. He had forgotten that he wasn't supposed to touch you like that, not when it was all pretend. “Oh, i almost forgot, remember the party your mom is hosting next sunday” Charles furrows his eyebrows at the sudden change of conversation "Yeah, why?" he says, his mind already drifting to the thought of the event. “Arthur told me to let you know that alexandra is coming, who is she?”. You still ask despite knowing the answer. You were curious to know what he would say.
Charles's eyes widened at the mention of the name "Alexandra." He hadn't expected you to ever say her name, he was left momentarily speechless. Groaning before answering. "She's an ex-girlfriend" he says, his tone guarded. “...Can I ask what happened?” you ask as you look down at the bed, avoiding his gaze. Charles lets out another deep sigh. "It's a bit of an old story," he says, his voice becoming quieter. "We dated for a few years, and then we just grew apart and eventually, it ended”. You nod your head as you listen to his story unsure on what to say. You look up at him and decide on “I'm sorry”. "It's fine," he replies, offering a small smile, though you can tell there's still a hint of sadness in his eyes. "It was a long time ago." He pauses for a moment, taking a deep breath. “So why is your mom inviting her? especially now that we’re “married”. Charles sighs “She's the daughter of one of my moms friends, so she's always been around, even before we were dating. I'm surprised she even agreed to coming, we’ve been avoiding each other for a while”.
You could tell this wasn't a simple story of a failed relationship. Maybe she meant more to Charles than you thought. “Maybe it's because she’s seen the articles about our perfect love story” you say laughing. Charles chuckles dryly, "Oh, I'm sure that's why," he says, rolling his eyes. "And she likely can't wait to make some snarky comment about it". “We can just avoid her, either way we have to be extremely convincing about our relationship during the party” Charles nods, taking your words to heart. "Yeah, well we can try to avoid her as much as possible, but she will probably want to talk to us." He sighs, contemplating the situation. "And you're right, we definitely have to sell this whole “perfect love” act even more at the party."
“Do you think it will be hard?” you ask.
Charles leans back against the headboard of the bed, mulling over your question. "Honestly?" he says, his gaze fixed on the ceiling. "I don't know. Pretending to be in love with you in front of our families has been... easier than I thought. But with Alexandra there, it could get complicated. She has a way of getting under my skin."
You’re not sure why his words made your stomach turn, but they did. So you ask the question you really don't want to know the answer to. “Do you still love her?”
Charles is caught off guard by your direct question, his initial instinct was to deflect. But looking at your face, he knew he couldn't lie. "I don't know," he admits quietly, shaking his head. "There are still... feelings. But it's complicated ." He looks back at you, searching your eyes for any hint of jealousy or annoyance. “Well maybe she can be the reason for our divorce” you suggest, trying to make a positive out of a negative. You needed an excuse for the divorce either way, You had originally thought about a big public fight but this made things easier, Charles leaving you to be with his true love. It would be the first thing both of you didn't lie about.
“You’ll realize you love her more than you loved me, that’s something the media will buy”. Charles hears the tinge of sadness in your voice and looks at you, his face softening. "You think so?" he asks, his tone laced with a hint of guilt for answering your question about Alexandra in the first place. "You'd be okay with the world thinking I fell for my ex girlfriend while being married to you?". Not truly wanting to answer his question, you reply “it doesn’t matter what i think, it's just an excuse to get out of this” Charles let out a deep sigh, the thought of having to explain to the world that he fell for someone else while being married to you didn't sit well with him, but he had no choice. "Yeah, I guess that's the best way" he finally says, reluctantly agreeing with your plan. “I’m sorry I'm in the way of you and her” you say in a low voice, almost whispering. Charles shakes his head, reaching over to take your hand in his. "You're not in the way," he says firmly, looking into your eyes. "This whole situation is just... complicated. And it's not your fault. It's not like you wanted to be fake married to me." You nod your head forcing a smile “yeah, of course”.
Charles's heart twists at the sight of your forced smile. He wishes he could do more to ease your pain, but he knows that the situation is out of his control. He reaches out and tucks a strand of hair behind your ear, his touch gentle. “You love doing that don’t you” you ask chuckling, referring to him putting your hair behind your ear. A small smile tugs at the corner of Charles's lips as he realizes he's been caught. "Yeah, I guess I do," he admits sheepishly. "It just... feels natural, I guess." He lets his hand linger against your cheek for a moment, his touch tender. "Sometimes I wonder," you say, your voice soft and full of unsaid feelings. "What if we had met in a different way?” A soft sigh escaped your lips as you continued "I wonder where we’d be now". Charles lets out a wistful sigh as he contemplates your question, his mind wandering to the what if's. "Me too," he says quietly, his gaze fixed on your face. "If we had met under different circumstances... I wonder what could've been."
Neither of you say anything. You just stare into each other's eyes.
"You're staring" he finally says, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.
“You’re staring back” you reply, laughing at his words
Charles lets out a low chuckle, his smirk widening. "Fair enough," he concedes, his eyes never leaving yours. “I'm getting sleepy, it's been a long day. Goodnight Charlie” you say before kissing his cheek and turning over. Charles’s heart skips a beat at the feel of your lips on his cheek, a small shiver running down his spine. He looks at your turned back, his gaze lingering on your form. “Goodnight,” he says quietly, the hint of a smile on his lips.
WEEK 2 DAY 3
You and Charles wake up around the same time as always. You both get ready and head downstairs to the kitchen. That’s when you both realize that you're the only one home. "Looks like we've got the place to ourselves today," he says with a hint of surprise in his voice. “What should we do?” you ask as you walk closer to him.
Charles and you have now spent 14 days together, counting from the day you saw each other at the club, and you’re becoming inseparable. Despite not letting yourself, you still feel attracted to Charles and everyday it gets harder to suppress your feelings. Even after he confessed he still feels something for Alex. What you don't know is that he only started thinking about her again to not think about you. He started this ever since you turned him down the other day. He remembers your words perfectly “this could never work”.
Charles thinks about your question for a moment, a mischievous smile spreading across his face. "Well, we've got the whole house to ourselves," he says, a hint of excitement in his tone. "Why don't we make the most of it?".
You walk closer. “Yeah? And how would we do that?. Charles grins as you walk closer to him, his eyes sparkling with a hint of playfulness. "Well, let's see," he says, pretending to think. "We could watch a movie, bake something, or..." He steps closer to you, his voice dropping to a low, seductive tone. “Or….?” you whisper. Charles closes the remaining distance between you, his body just inches away from yours. He looks down at you, his gaze intense. "Or we could do something... more fun," he says, his voice a sultry whisper. “Actually, I think I'm craving Italian, take me to dinner” you say laughing as you step back. Charles feigns disappointment for a moment before chuckling softly. "Fine, Italian it is," he says, playfully rolling his eyes. "But only if I get to pick where we're going”. “You know this place better than I do anyways” Charles grins, happy to be the one who gets to choose. "Exactly," he says, a hint of smugness in his voice. "I know all the best spots in this city." He held out his hand "Ready to go?".
------------------------
On your way to the restaurant you surprisingly only get stopped 3 times for pictures. Charles seems completely unfazed, smiling and waving graciously each time. As you finally arrive at the restaurant, he leads you inside, a hand placed on your lower back.
Charles and you are led to a secluded table in a quiet corner of the restaurant. He pulls out a chair for you before taking his own seat. "I've been here many times," he says, looking around the elegant space. "It's one of my favorite Italian spots in the city." You look around taking in the beauty “You know, i'll definitely miss Monaco when this is over”. "Yeah," he says quietly, his gaze drifting to the window outside. "But you'll come back to visit, right?" His ask, eyes flicking back to you. “Only if you bring me back here” you joke. A small smile tugs at the corner of Charles's lips. "Of course," he says, playing along. "This is definitely the best Italian food you'll ever have. You'll be craving it for months after you're gone."
You order your meals and continue talking as you eat, the conversation flowing effortlessly between you.
Charles leans back in his chair, a hint of a smile on his lips. "You know," he says suddenly, his eyes fixed on yours. "You're not bad to be married to. We make a pretty convincing couple." You laugh at his comment “Shut up” you say smiling. Charles mock-gasps in exaggerated surprise, placing a hand against his chest. "Hey, it's not my fault we're so good at pretending!" he protests, a mischievous glint in his eyes.
Everything continues going fine when suddenly your heart drops as you hear a voice calling your name. No one knew you here except Charles and his family. So it could only be one person, Leonardo.
“Y/N Y/L/N … or i guess it’s Y/N Leclerc now” he says chuckling “Never thought i would see you here again, especially married” Charles head snaps up at the sound of the unfamiliar voice, his muscles tensing almost instantly. He looks at you and sees the color drain from your face. “Leo, i never thought i would see you again either” you say giving Charles an apologetic look. This is the one thing you should have told him. The real reason you came to Monaco the first time.
A few years back you were madly in love with Leonardo. You both met in New York, his mom used to Co-own the magazine company with your mother. Everything was perfect, whenever you thought about getting married you always pictured him waiting at the altar. So you agreed to move back home with him in Monaco, that's when your relationship started falling apart. He would come home late and blame it on the crazy traffic “so many tourists” he would say, trying to use it as an excuse. You believed him. Until one day you walked in the house and found him fucking some random girl. Your world came down and you swore to never return, he ruined you, you were a mess after the incident. You always turned down anything to do with Monaco in fear you would run into him in the small country. Charles dragging you here is what made you come to love Monaco, you realized the only bad thing here was Leo.
Charles looks at you, confusion and a hint of hurt crossing his face. He had no idea about your past with the man who had suddenly appeared. He remains silent, watching the interaction between you and Leo. “I couldn't believe it when I first read the articles and saw that you got married to a F1 driver,” he says, looking back and forth to you and charles. “Well unexpected things can happen” you say, giving him a fake smile. “How is she?” Leo asks Charles. “Well she's better with me than she ever was with you” Charles replied. He took a gamble with his response, he knew nothing about the man standing at your table, but by the look on your face he could tell you wanted him gone.
“Hmm right, I'm sure she told you all about me, I just can't believe you convinced her to move back” he says laughing. “Just go leo, there's nothing we need to talk about, besides, i know you have bad luck and get stuck in traffic” you say glaring at him. “I will go, but not because you're telling me to. Tiffany is waiting in the car, you’ve met her Y/N." Leo says smiling as he nudges your shoulder and leaves. You hold in your breath as he says the last few words, assuming she's the girl you caught him with. Charles watches the exchange between you and Leo, his jaw clenching tighter with each word spoken. He can sense the tension in the air, the history that lies between you and Leo. His mind is racing with questions
Charles is left speechless as he processes what just happened. His mind is a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions. He stares at Leo as he leaves the restaurant. Finally, he turns to you, his gaze a mix of confusion and hurt. "What the hell was that?" he snaps, his voice barely above a murmur. “Can we just go, i'll explain on the way home” You say as you stand up. Charles lets out a deep breath, his hands clenched into fists. "Yeah," he mutters, getting up from his seat. "Let's just go."
The walk home is filled with an uncomfortable silence. Charles's mind is reeling with questions, his body tense with anger. He glances over at you, his jaw set in a tight line as he listens silently to you laying out the details of your past with Leo. His eyes stay fixed on the sidewalk. When you finish speaking, the walk falls quiet again as Charles processes everything he's just heard. “I'm sorry i should have told you” you say breaking the silence. Charles sighs, his grip on his fist loosening slightly. "Yeah, you should have," he says, his voice betraying a hint of hurt. "I can't believe you kept something like that from me, especially with all the time we've spent together”. “I didn't think it would be important for you to know,” you say, slightly agitated. Charles turns to you, his eyes flashing with a hint of anger. "You didn't think it was important for me to know about your ex-boyfriend who lives in Monaco?" he says, his voice strained. "You don't think that's something I should've known about?" your eyes tear up “How was i supposed to know we would run into him” Charles glances at you, seeing the tears welling up in your eyes. He takes a deep breath, his hand twitching slightly as he fights the urge to reach out to you. "Yeah, whatever" he mutters, his tone softening a bit. "But it still would've been nice to know that I could’ve been confronted by your ex at some point". “You don't get to be mad with me about this, you also didn't tell me about Alex, or how you still love her”
Charles bristles at your words, his jaw clenching at the mention of Alexandra. "That's different," he snaps, his eyes flickering between you and the road. "I eventually told you where my feelings stand. You never told me anything about Leo". You hold back tears, “There was no point in telling you anyways, there's only 2 weeks left before I never have to see you again” Charles’ heart clenches at your words, the reality of the situation washing over him yet again. He lets out a bitter laugh. "Yeah, that's right. Two more weeks of pretending until we can go back to our separate lives, right?" “Don't make me regret agreeing to this” you say as tears run down your eyes. You watch the anger and hurt falter from Charles at the sight of your tears. His heart aches at the sight of your pain, and he feels a pang of guilt for lashing out at you. He lets out a deep sigh. "I don't want you to regret anything," he mutters, his voice softer now.
The rest of the walk is silent until you reach home.
--------------------
Charles follows you upstairs and into his bedroom. The room is quiet, the only sound coming from the soft hum of the air. He closes the door behind him, leaning against it for a moment as he gazes at you. You walk over to the nightstand, taking off your earrings before glaring back at him. He watches you silently for a few moments, his eyes tracing the lines of your face. He looks conflicted, a mix of anger and longing on his expression. After a moment, he crosses the room and sits down on the edge of the bed, gesturing for you to join him. You comply and join him, letting out a sigh as you sit down next to him, the mattress sinking under your combined weight. He reaches out tentatively, his fingers brushing against the back of your hand. "I'm sorry," he murmurs, his voice full of remorse. "I shouldn’t have gotten angry”. You let the silence linger a bit before replying “It’s fine, I should have told you.” Charles looks down at your joined hands, his thumb tracing small circles on your skin. "Yeah, you should have," he says quietly. "But I can understand why you didn’t. It’s not exactly easy to talk about past relationships”. You dont reply and simply rest against him. He hesitates for a moment before gently wrapping an arm around you, pulling you closer, watching as you turn your head up to look at him. He looks down at you, his eyes meeting yours.
He takes in the sight of your face, so close to his own. His gaze flickers back and forth between your eyes and your lips, his heart starting to race. Charles can feel the heat radiating off your body, the sound of your breathing filling his ears. He looks down at you, his lips parting slightly as he fights the desire to close the distance between you. He clenches his jaw, his hand unconsciously tightening around your waist, his other hand on your cheek feels warm and soft. His thumb tracing small circles on your skin. He pulls your face closer, now just inches apart. He inhales deeply, the scent of your perfume filling his nostrils.
“Charles we ca-” Charles’ hand moves from your cheek to your chin, holding it tightly. "Shut up, shut up Y/N. Stop reminding me that I can't have you". His words leave you shocked, you expected him to let go like he's done other times, but part of you is glad he didn't. “Kiss me” you whisper. Charles's heart thunders in his chest, his breaths quickening at your words. For a moment he hesitates, warring with his own feelings, but in the end, he gives in. His hand slides from your face to the back of your neck, pulling you closer as he jumps at the sound of someone knocking the bedroom door. You also jump at the sudden noise ruining the moment. “We’re home” Arthur yells through the door. Charles lets out a curse word under his breath as he hears Arthur's voice from the other side of the door. He reluctantly pulls away from you, his hand sliding off your neck as he calls out, "Okay whatever”.
You slightly move away from Charles as you laugh. He shoots you a mock-annoyed look, his lips twitching in a faint smile despite his best efforts. "Oh, you think it’s funny, huh?" he teases, crossing his arms over his chest. “We can never have a moment can we” you say smiling. Charles lets out a short laugh, his arms dropping back to his sides. "No, apparently not," he mutters, shaking his head. "Someone’s always interrupting us”. Without hesitation you bluntly speak your thoughts “i wish i could remember the night we hooked up”. Charles almost chokes on his own breath at your sudden words. His mind goes blank for a moment as he processes what you just said. Then, he laughs hoarsely. "Y/N, you can't just say things like that without warning”. “Please, I know you've also thought the same thing”. Charles is speechless for a moment, rendered speechless by your comment. He has thought it, the memory of that night a blur due to all the alcohol that was consumed. But hearing you say it out loud, without any hint of embarrassment, throws him off. He shakes his head, a mixture of amusement and desire flickering in his eyes.
WEEK 2 DAY 7
The days pass and Sunday, the day of the party, quickly approaches. Charles' mom is in a frenzy, preparing for the event. Charles himself is nervous, the thought of seeing Alexandra again making him visibly uneasy.
The night approaches and both you and Charles get ready in his room. Charles stands in front of the mirror in the bedroom, adjusting his tie. He glances at you, taking in your appearance. "You look good," he says quietly, a hint of a smile on his face. “Thank you” you reply while trying to cover the blush creeping in on your face. “We should probably head downstairs” you suggest as you walk towards him. Charles's eyes move over your figure. He swallows, his mind flashing back to the memories of you almost kissing him yesterday. Charles nods, tearing his gaze away from you. "Yeah, we should," he mutters. He takes a deep breath, mentally preparing himself for the night ahead. He holds out his hand for you to take. "Ready?" You take his hand and smile as you walk towards the party.
The Party is buzzing with chatter and laughter of guests, music playing in the background. The air is thick with the scent of expensive perfume and the sparkle of champagne. Charles tightens his grip on your hand as you walk further into the room, his eyes scanning the crowd.
A few minutes go by and not much has happened yet. Just random guests congratulating you or boring you with small talk. While Charles is talking to one of the guests, you whisper “I'm going to go get a drink” in his ear. Charles nods, understanding your need to escape the boring talk for a moment. "Yeah, okay" He lets go of your hand reluctantly, his fingers lingering on yours for a moment longer than necessary. You leave and make your way to the drink station. As you’re pouring yourself a drink you think about how in a few hours this whole situation was going to end in a week. You were going to miss Charles more than you wanted to admit, your mind thought back to the conversation you had with him about how it was “never going to work” but maybe it could work. He made you happy and you needed to accept that. You need to stop pushing him away. So you decided on telling him how you felt tonight.
But as you come back with your drink, you notice Charles engaged in conversation with Alexandra. They're standing close together, their faces mere feet apart. Charles' expression is polite and guarded, Alex's lips twisted in a smile. Fuck you thought to yourself. The stupid “plan” of letting Charles flirt with Alex to win her back had completely slipped your mind. What if maybe he did want to get the divorce?, after all there he was talking with her.
Charles turns at the sound of your footsteps approaching, his eyes locking on yours as you come to a stop next to him. A flicker of nervousness passes over his face, replaced quickly by a neutral expression. Alexandra looks up at you, her smile faltering slightly as she takes in your presence. “Hey” you say politely greeting the woman your husband was going to eventually leave you for. "Hey," Alexandra says, her voice cool and aloof. Her gaze moves between you and Charles, a hint of contempt in her eyes. Charles stays silent, his hand unconsciously clenching at his side. “I’m Y/N” you say, extending your hand to greet her. Alexandra looks at your hand, her eyes narrowing as she takes in your gesture. After a moment, she reaches out and shakes your hand, her grip strong and deliberate. "I'm Alexandra," she says with a harsh tone “I used to date Charles”. He watches the interaction between you and Alexandra, his jaw clenching at the slight hostility coming from her. He doesn't like the way she's looking at you, the jealousy in her eyes. “I know,” You respond in a calm tone before turning to Charles “i hope i'm not interrupting anything” "No, of course not," Charles says quickly, shaking his head. He glances at Alexandra, who purses her lips and says nothing.
You softly smile “well i'm going to excuse myself, enjoy the party”. Charles reaches out and grabs your wrist, pulling you back. "Wait," he says urgently, his voice low. “What” you whisper back. He leans in close to you, his breath hot against your ear. "Don't go," he murmurs, his grip on your wrist tightening slightly. "Please." You swallow as you say words you don't mean “This is your chance to win her back Charles. It will help our little divorce story”. Charles looks torn at your words, his gaze flickering between you and Alexandra. His heart is torn between wanting to keep you with him and wanting to keep up the façade and follow through with a plan he doesn't even want part in. He's only agreeing because he thinks you’re never going to give him a chance. Not with the way you dont let him touch you or say sweet things to you, and how you always have to remind him none of this is real, and you never gave him any hope that this would last more than 4 weeks you agreed to spend with him before going back to Vegas and finalizing the divorce.
"I know," he mutters, his voice strained. "Just... don't go too far. Stay somewhere I can see you." You nod and make your way through the crowd of people. Charles watches you walk away, his heart heavy with mixed emotions. He turns back to Alexandra, who is watching you leave with a hint of happiness in her eyes.
-------------
A few hours pass and Chales and Alex are still talking with each other. You can't stand the sight of him making her laugh or how her hand lingers too long on his arm. You need a distraction from this, so you make your way to the bathroom, taking a moment to compose yourself. Your heart is racing with a mix of emotions, the sight of them together stirring up feelings of jealousy and pain you never thought you would experience at the hands of a fake relationship. You make the irrational decision and decide to pull out your phone and dial Leo's number.
“Hey leonardo, its Y/N”
Leo picks up on the other end of the line, his voice deep and smooth. "Hey Y/N, what's up?"
“I sent you my location, can you meet me here”
Leo's curiosity is piqued at your request. "Yeah, sure. I'll be there in a few minutes".
“Hurry” is all you say before hanging up the call. A sense of dread washing over you.
---------------------
You check your phone and see that Leo has texted you, letting you know that he's arrived. You take a deep breath, steeling yourself for what you're about to do. Leo walks in through the door, his eyes scanning the room as he takes in the sight of the party. He spots you immediately, his face breaking into a smile as he walks over to you. “Hi” you say in a low voice. "Hey," Leo replies, his voice just as low. He glances around, making sure no one is eavesdropping on your conversation. "What's going on? Finally realized I'm better than that F1 driver?" he says laughing. Why, just why did you have to do this.”'Let's talk somewhere more private” You say as you drag him to a vacant room.
As Charles continues talking with Alex, his eyes instinctively drift towards you. He observes you in the distance, walking with someone to the empty room. A puzzled expression forms on his face as he wonders who you even know at the party. Minutes go by, and Charles notices that you haven’t left the room. His curiosity piqued, a sense of worry creeping in, he excuses himself from the conversation and makes his way towards the room you’re in."
You and Leo walk through the crowd, Leo following you as you lead the way to an empty room. As you enter, you shut the door behind you, the noise from the party outside quickly fading to a low murmur. “I just need to get my mind off him” You say as you walk closer to him. Leo looks at you, a hint of curiosity and confusion in his eyes as you approach. “What exactly is the reason you invited me here?" You close the distance between both of you “I don't know” you whisper. He grabs your face “Want me to kiss you?”
Charles was simply talking to Alex, nothing more, yet here you were about to kiss your ex, all because you don't believe Charles actually likes you.
You nod at Leo's words, but as he's about to close the distance you hear the door open.
Charles enters the room, his footsteps halting suddenly as he takes in the sight before him. His eyes widen in shock as he sees you and Leo so close together. He stands frozen for a moment, unable to speak. His mind is racing, processing the scene before him. He looks from you to Leo, anger and hurt warring in his expression. “I- I can e- Charles it's not what you think” You say as you back away from Leo. Charles clenches his jaw, his hands balling into fists at his sides. The sight has struck him like a blow to the gut, bringing up a tidal wave of emotions. He says nothing as he grabs your wrist and drags you up the stairs to his room.
------------------------
12:00 AM WEEK 3 DAY 1
Charles pushes you into the room, the door slamming shut behind you with a loud thud. The room is plunged into silence for a moment as he turns to face you, his expression a storm of conflicting emotions. “Charles, I'm sorry” you say as you turn around to face him. He stares at you with dark eyes and an intense stare. "Sorry?" he repeats, his voice low and harsh. "You're sorry for what, huh? For kissing another guy?". Tears formed in your eye “I didn't kiss him. And even if i did it's not like we are actually together”. Charles lets out a strangled laugh at that, his expression hardening. "Oh, so that makes it okay then? You could just kiss whoever you want because we're not together?" Silence lingers before you speak up “I saw you talking to Alex for hours and i got jealous, i acted on impulse i fucked up i know”. Charles takes a step towards you, his eyes never leaving yours. "Because that's what you wanted me to do, try and fall in love with her so the divorce can have a reason behind it” He yells “But did you ever think that I don't want to leave you”. His words still somehow caught you by surprise.
“What?” you whisper. Charles lets out a sigh, his hand raking through his hair. "Jesus, do I really have to spell it out for you?" he snaps. "I don't want to leave you, I never did. I want to be with you, always. But you... you always turned me down. Did you even think about how I would feel?".
“You told me you still loved her” you reply. Charles scoffs, shaking his head in disbelief. "Love her?" he says, his voice dripping with bitterness. "I said that to see if you would just finally admit your possible feelings for me. But It was all an act, a performance to please you so we could have an “excuse” for our divorce. ... You were the one I truly want”. “I'm sorry” is all you manage to say. Despite everything his eyes soften slightly as he looks at you. "Sorry doesn't fix everything, you know," he mutters, his voice laced with a hint of pain. “I wasn't thinking, I was jealous of her, I thought she was the one you wanted, and you’ve been with her longer and know her better. I didn't think I stood a chance next to her” Charles's expression softens further as he hears your words. "You thought I didn't want you?" he asks, his voice quieter now. "That I'd rather be with her than you?" He takes a step closer to you, his eyes roaming over your face. "You've really been that blind?" he asks, a hint of disbelief in his tone. "All this time, you really thought I didn't want you?" He reaches out, tentatively taking your hand in his. “You tried to tell me so many times, in so many ways. Yet i never tried to give us a chance” you whisper
Charles nods, his grip on your hand tightening slightly. "Yeah, I tried. But you didn't listen," he says, his voice a mixture of anger and resignation. "You were so fixated on the divorce, on this act, that you didn't see the genuine feelings I had for you." You say nothing, you simply just look into his eyes. Charles lets out a sigh, his thumb gently caressing the back of your hand. "Did you really think all those looks, all those little moments between us, were just pretend?" he asks, his voice quiet but laced with a hint of hurt. “I’ve always felt something for you” you finally admit. Charles's breath hitches at your words, his eyes searching your face. "Do you really mean that?" he asks, his voice barely above a whisper. You nod “I tried to avoid the feelings because I was scared about what the media and your fans would say, and I didn't want to keep up the lie of how we met but I don't care, I don't care anymore because all I know is that I want you”
HIs expression softens further as he hears your confession, his hand coming up to cup your cheek. "You idiot," he mutters, a hint of a smile on his lips. "You wasted all this time trying to deny what you really want, all because you were scared of what other people would think?"
You can't help but laugh at your stupid actions. Charles smiles at the sound of your laughter, the tension in the room slowly beginning to ease. "You just had to make everything so complicated, didn't you?" he teases, his thumb gently stroking your cheek. “I won't mess up again” you say leaning into his touch. Charles's eyes hold a fierce determination as he speaks, his hand still resting on your cheek. "I hope not, because I'm not going to let anyone or anything come between us again. No more lies, no more hiding. Just you and me." You smile at his words “I like that idea”. Charles grins at your response, his hand sliding down to cup your chin. "Good," he says, his voice taking on a huskier tone. "Because I've been dreaming about having you all to myself for far too long”.
You feel a sense of desire wash over you as he speaks. Now that both of you have made it clear where your feelings stand, you can finally give in to the attraction you have for him. The desire that you've been trying to convince yourself doesn't exist. “You know… everyone is downstairs so no one is going to interrupt us if we kiss” you tell Charles in a low seductive voice. Charles's grin widens at your suggestion, his eyes darkening with need. "Finally. no interruptions" he responds, his tone matching yours. He pulls you closer, his arms wrapping around your waist as his lips move towards yours. You spent so much time pushing him away so it's only fair that you make the first move. After 3 weeks since the last kiss, your lips meet again. Charles responds eagerly, his lips meeting yours in a passionate kiss. There is a hint of desperation in the way he kisses you, as if he's trying to make up for the time he's lost. His hands slide your lower back, pulling you against his body. Neither of you care about the party downstairs.
The kiss deepens, Charles's tongue tangling with yours as he devours your mouth. The only sound in the room is the mingled gasps and moans as the kiss becomes more intense and passionate. “I need you” you whine as you break the kiss. Charles's eyes widen at your words, a primal desire igniting within him at the needy tone of your voice. He tightens his grip on you, his hands roaming your body without restraint. "You have no idea how badly I’ve wanted you to say that" he says as his lips find their way to your neck, leaving a trail of hot, open-mouthed kisses along your skin. You guide Charles backwards, never breaking the contact of his lips on your skin. You steer him towards the bed, your movements purposeful and full of want. As the back of your knees hit the edge of the mattress, he pushes you onto the bed, climbing on top of you in one fluid motion. You waste no time, you quickly remove his tie and unbutton his shirt. His breathing quickens at your actions, his body responding eagerly to your touch. His hands roam your body, desperate to once again feel your skin against his. He nips and kisses at your lips as he pushes your dress up over your head, discarding it carelessly on the floor beside the bed.
“Please touch me” you say in between kisses. Charles' eyes darkened at your words, a low growl rumbling in his chest. "Oh now you want me to touch you" he says, his voice thick with lust and humor. His mouth continues its descent, his tongue tracing a path over your chest and down to your stomach. His hands move lower, gripping the waistband of your panties, as if silently asking for permission. You eagerly nod watching his fingers quickly push them down over your hips, leaving you bare. His eyes roam over your body, a look of pure hunger in his gaze. “So beautiful,” he whispers. Charles stands up to take off his pants, his eyes watching you intently as he throws them aside. He shifts his body as he comes near you again, pressing himself against you, his skin now flush against yours. His hands wander down to your hips, gripping them possessively as he pulls you closer. You moan at the feeling of having him pressed up against you. Charles smiles at you , his eyes fixated on yours. "Just relax, I've got you." He lifts himself up with one arm, his eyes roaming over your body as he positions himself with your entrance.
You can't help but moan at the feeling of him going inside of you. He looks down at you, his eyes locking on yours as he slowly applies speed, his lips parting slightly as he lets out a gasp. "Are you okay?" he asks huskily, his voice barely above a whisper. “Yeah” you reply in a shaky breath as you watch him thrust into you. Charles groaned, his head falling back as he felt you on him. “O-oh fuck.” He gasps, his hands automatically moving to your hips guiding your moves.
After moments of continuing like this you feel yourself reaching your high “Charles in gonna…” you say in between your sounds of pleasure. Charles smiles at you “Fuck, me too” he says, his voice desperate. His thrusts become harder making you both reach your climax. He moans against your ear as you move your hips to ride out your high.
“I needed that for so long” you moan as Charles lays next to you, his chest heaving with exhausted breaths. He nuzzles his face into your neck, his arms wrapped tightly around your body.
“Could have done this a lot sooner ” he says, his voice hoarse and raw. “Whatever” you say as you chuckle. Charles moves away from your neck, his eyes looking into yours with a warm expression before speaking. “I'm sure this made it clear but i don't want to go back to vegas, i don't want to get divorced” You grin widens at his words, your eyes lighting up with pleasure. “Is that so?” you say, your tone light and teasing. “You’re sure you don’t want to go back to pretending we’re in love?” you joke. Charles laughs at your words “Stop it” he says as he pokes your side. You laugh along with him, your eyes sparkling with amusement. "Sorry, sorry," you say, your tone unapologetic. "I just couldn't resist. But in all seriousness,” you continue, your expression growing more sincere. “I don't want a divorce either. I want you, all of you. For real this time”.
“No more pushing me away,” he says in a low voice.
You shake your head, your eyes fixed intently on his. "No more pushing you away," you agreed, your voice firm and unwavering. "No more games, no more secrets. Just us, no pretending, no Vegas." You smile as you continue your sentence “But when we meet someone new, and they ask about us. Will we still keep up the lie on how we met?” you ask Charles. He laughs at your question “Well yes, we still can't have anyone finding out the truth”. You nod your head in understandment “Well then there's still one more person we need to lie to”
Charles raises an eyebrow, a smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth “Yeah? who?”
“My mom, in New York” You reply smiling

Hi, could you please write a James Maguire x Reader where reader works at fenula’s chip shop and James keeps going in even though he doesn’t like anything just to see her. The rest of the plot can be up to you, thank you :)
Hold the Grease (James Maguire X Reader)
Masterlist
Request Something!
Summary: After James’ outburst about Fionnula’s food, the girls are surprised to see that he’s always eager to accompany them to the chippy. Turns out, he hasn’t grown to like the food. Instead, it’s one of the new workers.
A/N: pretend the girls + james were good at cleaning up so they didnt get perma-banned from the chip shop
***
Everyone remembered James’ little outburst when he went to the chippy for the first time. Yelling in the small shop about how greasy the food was right in front of the main cook and shop owner, saying that the smell itself made him sick. He was kicked out, and then when the girls got banned because Michelle stole the shop’s notice board, he was the only one who wasn’t devastated about it.
So when their ban was lifted in exchange for some cleaning, the girls were very surprised to find that James now had an obsession with the chippy. He always insisted on coming in instead of waiting outside for everyone, but he never got anything. He’d keep glancing towards the menu, but if anyone asked what he wanted, he’d say he wasn’t hungry.
“Okay, what’re you doing in here, fucko?” Michelle finally asked one day, annoyed by her cousin’s odd behavior. He looked at her incredulously, wondering what he did to deserve those words. But then again, he could be standing still doing nothing and get a reaction like that from Michelle.
“What do you mean, Michelle?” He asked.
The crude girl was about to respond, but Clare quickly took the lead, not wanting her friends to cause another scene in the shop. “She just means that it’s… strange that you keep coming into the chippy with us. That’s all.”
“How is that strange?”
“Well, for one, you never get anything.”
“Yeah.” Erin agreed, leaning in close and lowering her voice so Fionnula wouldn’t hear her. “You hate the food, James.”
“Aye, but you’re always staring at the menu,” Orla added, pointing to the big board on the kitchen wall. “Are you scared to try the food, James? ‘Cause you don’t have to be scared; it’s just food.”
“I’m not scared,” James said adamantly, yet the way he backed away from his crowding friends said differently. “And why are you all interrogating me? It’s weird.”
Clare reached out and put a reassuring hand on James’ arm. “We’re not interrogating you, James.”
“I am.” Michelle rebutted. “It’s fecking weird, don’t you think, girls? All he does is stand there like an idiot.”
James’ friends made different sounds of agreement, and he couldn’t help but roll his eyes. He was about to respond, but the words got lost in his throat as his eyes followed something on the other side of the kitchen counter.
Or rather, someone.
“What are you looking at?!” Michelle said with an exasperated demeanor. The girls all turned, trying to follow James’ eyeline. “Oh my god.”
“It’s nothing,” James said immediately. But they were having none of it.
The girls turned back to James and closed in on him. He was surprised that no one else in the chippy was giving them strange looks, trying to figure out what was wrong with them all.
Michelle looked at James with both fascination and slight disgust. “Are you lookin’ at Y/n L/n?” James wondered how his cousin knew her name, but then again, she had lived in Derry her whole life. Plus, they did go to our Lady Immaculate together. Before he could even respond, Michelle gasped. “You are!”
“Am not!”
“Are too!”
“Large cowboy, extra salt!” James perked up at the sound of your voice, watching you ring the order bell and wait for Michelle to grab her order.
But Michelle had different plans. “Go get it, James.” She said with a teasing voice.
Before he could say no, his friends pushed him towards the order counter. He glared at the girls before turning back around, only to come face to face with you.
“Oh, hi, James!” He shouldn’t have been surprised that you knew his name. He was the only boy in your all-girls school, which drew a lot of attention to him. Plus, you shared a math class, which was how this whole infatuation started in the first place. Yet, his heart still fluttered a bit at the fact that you remembered his name.
“Hi, Y/n.” He responded, giving you a shy smile.
“This is Michelle’s, right?” You asked, holding up that to-go bag, and James nodded. You handed it to him, and before James could reluctantly walk away, you spoke again. “Y’know, I see you in here a bunch, but I don’t think you’ve ever ordered anything.”
James laughed nervously. He didn’t know how to explain how he always came in to see you and couldn’t care less about the food. “Oh yeah, I just… don’t have much of an appetite, I guess.”
“Well, if you ever come in hungry, the chicken sandwich is pretty good.” You smiled at him, and started stepping back to work on more orders. But James didn’t want the conversation to end.
“Could I get one of those?” He blurted out, surprising the both of you. He cleared his throat, trying to appear more casual. “To, you know, try it out.”
“Sure.” You smiled brightly at him, and James would’ve ordered a hundred chicken sandwiches if it kept you smiling like that. “Anything else?” You asked after scribbling down on the order pad.
James hummed in thought. “Could you…” He wondered how to phrase it, then leaned closer to the counter so only you could hear the question. He didn’t want Michelle or his friends to tease him about it. “Is it possible to have, like, less grease on the chicken? I just don’t really like the taste or smell of it.”
He was a bit worried you’d roll your eyes or poke fun at him. But instead, you nodded, making a note of it. “One chicken sandwich, hold the grease. That’ll be a fiver.” When James paid, you told him his food would be ready soon, and he made his way back to his expectant group of friends.
“Fucking finally,” Michelle muttered, snatching her bag of food from James. “Thought you’d be sucking face before I could even get my shit.”
“Shut up, Michelle.”

Part 2 of the alastor x reader I written when I wasn't feeling well at all
Summary : a new guest you knew from your past life arrive at the hotel, she was that one person who bullied you throigh high school, but she mooks too angelic to be guilty
Code : E/n (ennemy/name)
Tags : fem reader, etablished relationship, angst for the most part, there will maybe be a part 2, mentions of bullying, reader is TRAUMATIZED, english is not my first language, may have some inaccuracy about the show since I'm just projecting, and of course probably ooc characters
After that talk in alastor's room, you hardly left yours limiting contact with everyone...
Well, mostly everyone, nifty still passed by everyday to clean up a bit and chase the boug, you were thankful for it, she didn't treated you differently, she was the same sadistic, boys driven, bug hater lady you met, and you could talk her ears off
"Niff ? What do you think about E/n ?" You started warily, you never openly talked to her about it surprisinly until now
"Oh I hate her !"
Shocked you asked her to go on ; E/n, hated ? The E/n you knew...Well...she presented to others ?!
"Why is that ? Did something went wrong ? Did she hurt you ?!"
"She always interrupt my dead roack show ! She says it's weird and disgusting ! She even killed a roach before I could and that is an heinous crime"
You gulped, noting mentally that to stay in nifty's good side, you better let her kill the roaches herself
"But...isn't it weird how everyone like her ? And how they think she's genuinely nice ? Even alastor likes her !"
"And everyone likes alastor until they he shows his nature !" With that nifty finally stabbed that roach she was after
"You...have a good point...she's showing them what they want to gain what she wants...but...what does she wants...?"
"I don't know ! I have a lot of cleaning to do ! Goodbye !"
"Wait nifty !"
And the door was closed, you sighed, well...it was good for as long as it lasted you guessed...you needed a plan, but you couldn't think clearly in this hotel...you couldn't go to Rosie too...she ADORED E/n and they had their regular tea party...crashing to your friends place weren't use at all, one they adored her, two, it was still the hotel and three, since your words with angel you kinda ghosted them all, thinking they couldn't hurt yiu if you ghosted them before that ; your fiancee radio station maybe ? No, too obvious, and he spend all his goddamn time up there...and he isn't the exact definition of "privacy"...you thought for a second about mimzy, but that girl hated your guts for no reason...or well...maybe because alastor humiliated her last time...
Finally, a bell rang in your head ; alastor ! That's your solution ! He gave you a spare key of his actual house outside of the hotel, and he barely goes there since he is in his tower during the day and at the hotel at night !
Picking minimal stuff, just a few clothes, a notepad and a pencil, even leaving your proposal ring behind, not wznting to be distracted by alastor himself you rushed outside, surprising everyone in the lobby until you came crashing down into alastor
"My, my, my dear, someone here is in a rush"
"Uh yeah...I needed fresh air, you know, the old stuff, figured I could go camping ?"
Alastor's gaze darkened as he looked at your ring finger, well, lack of ring on your ring finger
"And does camping prevent you from wearing you ring ? Or perhaps you youngster has a different definitiln of camping that back in my day, because decades ago, men could hunt even with they wedding ring, and yet you can't sleep with it on ?"
"I just wanted some alone time, calm down al' if anything, send a shadow my way kf you don't trust me, I know you don't anyway for a few weeks now"
Without letting him finish you left the hotel, you almost feel pity to charlie, she'll have a very pissy alastor in her hands until you come back
Arriving at alastor's home you let yourself in, now you needed to brainstorm !
One hour...
Two hours...
Three hours...
Three hours and about 3 cups of tea in...you have little next to nothing for an idea...how the hell are you gonna show this pest real face ?! You needed a real confrontation with her, but she'll never gave it to you, and if she did, she would have a backup plan, just like when you were alive...alive...
That's it !
One of your imps friend that owe you one could go to the living world ! He could retrieve your phone and you could prove your point !
Getting everything ready, and after many days, the phone in your hands, you plugged it in for it to charge and once at 100 % your rushed to the hotel
"Guys ! I got my phone back I-"
Entering the hotel, they were all playing a board game together, not caring about where you went...but you've been gone for at least a good week or two now...did you mattered so little ?
"O-oh...Y/n...you're here ! We...uh...were playing monopoly ! You...wanna join us ?"
Charlie tried akwardly, chukling nervously at your empty expression
"No, I was happy to prove my point, but I guess it's no use, she is better than me anyway, charlie, I guess you can take an other sinner in...I quit the hotel..."
You missed the way her eyes showed her heartbreak at this sight of you, giving up, she really failed you this time ; as you went upstair to make your bags, the boarding game night was ruined, and alastor teleported right into your room
"Hello ma chère (my dear), may I know where you're planning on going ?"
"I don't know al, far ? You all won it, always pushing me to the side, y'all fucking won it"
"I believe such swearing isn't proper in a ladie's mout-"
"Well for once I'll fucking swear if I'll fucking please al ! Because none of you wwants to believes in me ! You knew me long her and you choose her ! Just...go and date her ! It's her speciality to just date whoever has been with me before anyway..."
"What do you mean...? Y/n...?"
No terms of endearment there, that was rare for alastor, even before you both started dating he was affectionnate and using pet names, he always does with women, just a way to make them feel appreciated
"What do you mean 'what do I mean' you didn't knew how my ex boyfriend cheated on me with her and that's why we stopped being friends ?!"
"No, actually...she told us the other way around, that she found her perfect someone...and that you tried to seduce him and flirt with him and when he exposed you you bullied her"
"Bullied her ?! She made my life hell before getting down here ! After I blocked her everywhere she used our common friend she turned against me or even her sister's social media to stalk me down !"
"Well, my dear, I do want to believes you, you know I love you, but I can't without proper proof"
Taking your phone's out of your pocket, and guiding alastor because of his obvious lack of modern technology skills, you showed him your call journal from that time, the recording, the screenshots, everything that proved you were in your right mind
"Well...my beloved, it seems I owe you an apology, with her honey words it seems I lowered my guard and lacked dicernment, could you forgive me ?"
Alastor put in hand gently on your cheek, lifting your face, you nuzzled against his hand before hugging him tight
"Apology accepted...and thank you...thank you so much for listening, even if it costed you to use modern technology"
"As long as you delete that picture I took by accident"
"I'll make it my wallpaper~"
"I'll rip this thing piece by piece"
Going downstairs with alastor was a relief, like a gentleman he offered his arms for you to hold onto as charlie jumped on you
"I'm SOOOO sorry to have neglected your feeling Y/n please !! I didn't mean to ! You were a good friend of all of us and would all feel awful if you were to really leave !!" She started, before being interrupted by alastor
"Well, my dear charlie, it seems someone is still leaving, but not our dear Y/n, someone who's suprisingly not that keen on getting redeemed it seems"
You saw E/n visibly tense as alastor grabs her rather forcefully
"Could you PLEASE tell all the others persons present here what happened between you and my lovely Y/n over here back when you were alive"
"I...I already told you didn't I...? She bullied me ! Y/n is just a mean bully and I always felt uneasy around her" E/n tried to defend herself, nervously sweating
"Really, care to explain this ? My dear best friend" you showed one of the most incriminating piece you had on your phone to the others, making their eyes go wide, and all fell into pieces, E/n wasn't trying to redeem, she was trying to ruin your life, all over again
She felt that for some reasons, many years ago, you were better than her, and that she needed what you had, by any mean and any ways, instead of finding her own hapiness she wanted to steal yours
Vaggie and alastor both kicked her out, charlie tried to say maybe she could be redeemed, but when alastor said that if he saw that girl put a foot near the hotel again he would turn her into jambalaya for everyone to eat...she was feeling rather discouraged
But that was okay, one bad sinners couldn't stray her from her dream ! Everyone in the hotel also apologized in their own way for not believing you and putting back through all your traumas all over again, and of course you forgave them
Alastor also made you a special contract this night, you could pet his ears, all night long, if the next day you didn't told the others about it
And of course you took the deal
~THE END~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well, I don't know if this one was longer or shorter than the previous part, I went along with the random imp going back on earth as an easter egg of helluva boss and also because I was stuck in my story !
It's nice to have a catharsis like this to be honest, I don't know if I'll write request or just silly story in one or multiple parts for hazbin hotel you can still send some in if yoj feel like it, just know that I'd be delighted to write for alastor again, he's my all time fav of the show
I hope you enjoyed it !!!
Just One Week (7)
Gojo Satoru x Female Reader
also posted on my ao3 account: diluclover300
CHAPTER INDEX:
I H8 U
My Kinda Fun
Balance
{S] Awake
Eggs and Rice
Wait, but I'm broke
Couple's Discount
CHAPTER 7: Couple's Discount
...
Satoru is beyond ecstatic, his vision sticky and gooey at the insane amount of silks and wools carefully hung and displayed. There's a catalog of clothes, an array of expensive clothes. Top-tier luxury brands, ones you'd catch celebrities sporting like a pair of pajamas at the local airport. Ones that he can caress between the delicate friction of his fingers as a warm smile spreads across his face like butter on toast. Oh, how lucky he is.
To reunite with his long-lost friend, whom he spent years tracking down, whom he was able to convince into allowing this moment to blossom into reality. He feels like a kid in a candy store, ogling at each piece of fabric, at each suit jacket and pant. And how tempting the sight is, how it tempts him to envelope himself in pure greed like a creature of sin.
The assortment of colors, the breathtaking pigments, the unique textures of each cloth...
The excitement is so wonderful, so captivating that he doesn't even begin to notice the woman greeting him at the door. He takes off like a rocket ship, roaming around the men's section. A maze that he hasn't ventured in, yet one that feels familiar and natural to navigate through pure instinct.
This must be heaven.
"I think he, uh... I'm so sorry if he causes trouble." You half-groan, head threatening to hang low at Gojo's energetic aura. "Thank you."
The woman nods, a typical response that you'd expect from someone working customer service. You've been in that position before, squeezing out an exhausted smile at something you had no idea how to respond to. Funny enough, your cheeks sting from the muscle memory.
You think to apologize once more, but you refrain, biting your tongue as you dejectedly follow after Gojo. He buries his head in a ring of hung-up clothes, swiping through each shirt like a potential match on Tinder.
"Oh? Do you frequent here often?"
You turn back, confusion overcoming your face.
"No, I've never been, actually." You slowly shake your head, examining the woman for a moment. "Why?"
That low bun of hers wrapped in a red scarf, and that sleek, white uniform doesn't ring a bell. Does she know you?
"Oh, sorry, it's just that your jacket... I couldn't help but notice that it is from our brand."
"Oh," You smile, the interaction as awkward as awkward gets. "That's weird, I never noticed."
You walk away with an understanding nod, fumbling with your lips as you fidget with the black jacket lying in the crook of your arm. Now that you think about it, it does feel like silk, expensive silk at that.
Maybe your memories have faded over the years. It's possible that you snagged this from another one of those annual holiday sales, sort of a bad habit you've accumulated. You always browsed for coats and blazers when no one was around to watch, hunching over that compact cubicle as you frantically refreshed your search engine. Occasionally, when someone would walk past or start conversation, you almost let out a guilty flinch out of fear for getting caught. Almost.
Nonetheless, the suggestion doesn't strike you. There's not a single instance where you, the loyal slave to some measly corporation, could justify the selfish purchase of a fancy coat. A coat was a coat, no matter the price. It would have torn up in that monster of a washing machine you own either. Not to mention the void and guilt that would stem from such an unnecessary purchase.
"Is that my jacket?" Weird. You don't expect it, but you recall the events from this morning. The skeptical look on his rather punchable face.
Your fingers trace over the sewn-in label, mumbling the brand to yourself. Even that leaves a pretentious, bitter taste on your tongue.
Nope, it doesn't ring a bell.
You suppose it's French, and to be honest, you don't have an opinion on the French. There are far more significant matters, at least in your opinion, than some species of European folk. Why would you spend your precious paycheck on such a useless thing?
Everything tells you, everything desperately grasps you by the shoulders and shakes you to your senses. And then you finally uncover the answer as to whether or not you "frequented" such a snobby, stuck-up place.
"I must be remembering things wrong.." Yeah, remembering things wrong, my ass, you think.
He lied. Oh dear, you really tried to give him the benefit of the doubt.
And that certain white-haired culprit is currently nowhere to be seen. Quite frankly, you have no idea where you are either. You've lost yourself in the garden of consumerism, swarmed by the amount of clothes and designer bags laying in front of you. A landfill for the rich, you call it.
But it's peaceful for a bit as it is overwhelming. You're oddly calm when you take in the privilege of Gojo's absence, as if a weight has been lifted off your shoulders. A heavy one at that.
Five years was, and is too short, much too measly of a distance. If you had it your way, if the Earth rotated to the drumming of your feet, then you would have never known the words "Gojo Satoru". His face would have been an imaginative blur, those eyes nothing but a mere gaze, and those memories would become one of the infinite "what-ifs" of this universe.
And if you ran into him on a fateful spring day?
You would have abandoned destiny a long time ago, parted ways like ex-lovers. The occurrence would leave you as you were.
Still, steady, and normal.
These three values would have stuck with you, through thick and thin. But which one was it? You don't know what to call this incident. Was this the thick? Or was this the thin?
You wonder, mull over it for a bit before you're chained back into the prison of his presence. It's a game of push and pull.
This punishment of a game.
"Yo! Over here, Y/N." You look up from the leather jacket folded on the display shelf below you, eyes hooked onto that raised hand of his.
You seem to be on the receiving end, on both sides of that hellish spectrum.
"Okay." You make your way over to "here", that sigh of yours halted. You have something to ask him anyways, something about that jacket of his.
His hand is still held up high in the air while the rest of his body entangled in a rack of clothes. Stupid is as stupid does.
His and Hers, You regrettably read and fully understand the sign hanging overhead from the ceiling, along with the bolded words: NEW Spring Collection.
"Did you find something?" You only ask as a precaution, monitoring his spending habits. An awful habit that solely relied on you and you only for support.
That hand of his flails around before sinking down into the sea of clothes before him.
"You're here?" His hands scour and fish into the abyss, voice muffled into the ridiculous amount of suits and dresses stuffed in his face. "I'm surprised-"
A groan follows, the sound of plastic material ringing against his skull. A sound that you would have ignored because it seamlessly blended into the rapid snare of the radio-pop tune playing on the store's speakers. You could have paid it zero mind if not for the sheer amount of second-hand embarrassment that ensued from your witness of the scene.
"Careful there," You sneer, watching as his back contorts like a gymnast. "The higher-ups wouldn't want you to come back a complete moron."
Satoru chuckles, scrambling once more before putting an end to his short-lived visit to Narnia.
"I'm thankful for the concern." There's an array of clothes folded over his arm, and oh, does the sight worry. "Please continue to take great care of me, Y/N."
You give him a strange look, your lips curling in disgust. By no means were you concerned about him, worried about this bafoon of a man.
"You're dumb." It's a conclusion you should have come to earlier, really.
"Remind me," Satoru's gaze trails off into the air before landing on you. "Who was the one that lost to me last night?"
You're stumped, mouth opening before it shuts again. That unlucky "who" was you, the loser.
Gojo takes your defeat as an opening, a chance.
"Wanna try this on?" A dress is shoved into your face, along with that cheeky smile of his that peeks behind the cloth.
Your attention darts from Gojo to the pink, girlish dress.
The long-sleeves are puffed just by the slightest bit, and the material a bit translucent until you notice that there (thankfully) is a white cloth underneath to keep yourself covered. Your eyesight was just playing tricks on you. Okay, a bit of decency, you appreciate it. However, you think the skirt is just a little too short, but the sweetheart neckline does look kind of gorgeous, you'll admit.
"Whaddya think?" He reveals more of that hidden smile of his behind the blinding cloth, along with his now enlarged starry eyes. You don't take that as a good sign, it's more of warning. "Hm?"
Emotionally, you don't exactly feel inclined to wear it, nor does the idea entice you. Logically, you can't and don't want to afford a dress you could easily get for way cheaper on the internet. Besides, you'd rather focus on controlling the inevitable loss of your sweet, hard-earned cash if possible. And with the sleek look of the fabric, along with the carefully stitched in details - the item is nothing but a pure fantasy.
You intend to keep it that way.
"No-"
Again.
Again, again, and again! Satoru groans out of pure annoyance. You're using that word again. That boring word, the word which cages him in like a helpless bird, the word which is so draining, so terribly cruel, absolutely inhumane.
No.
How he resents the very existence, the very creation of that word. That word which rolls of your tongue without an ounce of hesitation.
"No?" Satoru interrupts, raising a brow before yanking off his glasses.
"Um.."
When you look into those eyes laced with the pure malice of the devil, your flesh tenses. Your muscles contract, a reaction not one of muscle memory, but one of cold-blooded fear.
"I, um..." Think, think, think! You can't seem to put two and two together no matter how much your brain tells you to.
When his eyes release a frosty residue into the air, when you watch the air melt against him, you lose your resolve. Stripped of it, left with the stubbornness lying underneath.
Telling Gojo Satoru "yes" - you'd rather lie cold in your grave.
"Is it still a no?"
No doubt about it, Satoru notices. Your stubbornness surprisingly (as if he hasn't calculated this reaction) clashes with his want.
Without a single word, you begrudgingly snatch the dress out of his loose grasp, eyes searching around for the dressing room as you turn on your heel, slumping with each step like a deflated skydancer.
"To your left." Satoru directs, burying the self-conceited excitement down his throat. "You're welcome."
Patience is a virtue, he repeats to himself, over and over as you disappear behind the racks of clothes in front of him.
...
You don't want to.
Oh, you really can't stand the look of it because the feeling this dress evokes in you is criminal. The definition of bi-polar, heck, even multi-polar as the fabric drapes around you.
A part of you, the mature side of you, loathes the sight. You feel girlish, frail, and overly-feminine, like a total joke of a woman. You gaze upon the mirror and shy from it, covering your eyes before you peek through your fingers out of pure embarrassment.
You were well-into your twenties at this point, a young age, but still... weren't you a little too old for this? You can't help but feel that way. With those bags underneath your eyes you look like a princess fresh out of a zombie apocalypse, not some cute, innocent-looking chick. Maybe you look a little fucked-up, honestly. Completely out of place.
Oh, whatever. You lightly squeeze and pick at the skirt, tracing the pleated lines.
There's another part of you as well, and you suppose it's your immature side. The side that pokes through your doubts like a roses' thorn.
It's pretty. You feel kind of special, like an actual princess or some kind of tacky, knock-off Barbie doll. Fluffing your hair, a pit forms in the bottom-left of your stomach, plague pooling up inside of you.
Envy, desire, selfishness begin to settle in. And to think that you strayed, parted ways with these three "friends" years ago. Only now do they make their grand reappearance.
So this is what it's like to be normal, isn't it? You ask yourself, only to receive no answer. Surely, this is what it's like to have the world at your fingertips, to have all your wants and desires served to you in silver platter, right?
You should be jumping up and down right now, squealing like a damn schoolgirl at the idea that you were living out a childhood fantasy of yours.
"It's nice," You mumble, almost as if you're trying to convince yourself to agree. The words don't stick as well as you hoped.
You're jealous, almost angry you've never got to experience something so trivial, so materialistic. Jujutsu training took up more than half of your youth and those high-school memories you so deeply craved only remained a simple dream. A selfish goal you could never achieve no matter which plan or path you took to get there. The consequences of your choices would always haunt you, and you suppose this is one of those instances when you see the faintest image of a little girl. A little girl with a pair of eyes all too similar, with a nose much like yours, with lips of the same nature.
You want to scream when your chest compresses against itself, eyes stinging and reddening.
How tormenting, you would have never imagined your reflection to be one of a burden as your fingers still against the fabric of that dress, lips rolling over each other as a ship sinks to the very bottom of your stomach's oceans.
You remember. You remember it all too well, those years in elementary school. One question stuck with you in particular.
"What do you want to be when you grow up?"
To first-grade you, that was a simple, easy question. So you churned out an answer with very little thought.
"I want to be happy! Like... forever?"
Hah. Simple.
You think, no, you thought that such a simple, inoffensive wish would allow your life to show you a bit of grace, a bit of fulfillment. You were wrong, damn it, you were so wrong that you let out a choked, cowardly sniffle. The little you wouldn't even want to see you face, she'd rather die than accept her reality-
"Yoo-hoo. It's been ten minutes, you done yet?"
You flinch at his voice, blinking profusely as you touch up your watering eyes. Being sad was one thing, but you were not going to cry around Gojo Satoru. Never.
"Hello-"
You swing the door open, feeling your eyelashes water before you speak. The sound of your voice is stupid as all can be, but what could you do? You were just crying to yourself like the main character in some cheaply-produced Disney movie.
"Hi." You frown, crossing your arms as you feel the wind blow against your bare legs. You don't even want to look at him right now. Why? He's not scary.
It's a silence so thick that follows, so thick that you can't even take in proper breaths from the air that lies between the two of you.
Gojo Satoru stares, and you hate it. You hate that equally thick stare lying behind those glasses of his, seriously. You want to hide away, crawl into a hole when he hums like that, sucking in his lips as he examines you like a zoo animal. You're going ballistic and all you can do is stand there with your arms crossed as a defense. It's insulting because you're aware of how ridiculous the thing looks on you. Insulting because he makes it so obvious that you look like a little girl playing dress-up.
"What?" You say, tone flat. "Why are you looking at me like that?"
Oops. He swallows, guilty as charged when he stiffly rubs his neck. Satoru feels like a perv, the memories of that night flooding into the dam of his mind.
No, you're a friend.
Just a friend.
Only a beloved childhood friend of his, so there's no reason that these troublesome fireworks should be going off, bouncing off the barriers of his skin.
"Like what?" He looks away, hands stuffed in his pocket as he occupies his mind with the displays surrounding him. "I wasn't doing a single thing except looking at the dress."
Your lips tremble, and you feel dumb. Super dumb. Maybe it's those leftover feelings from earlier that begin to explode out of you, little by little. You can't seem to stop it, and it's killing you as your armor cracks.
"Is it that bad?" Your voice cracks, and he begins to panic as if he wasn't a nervous wreck before. "Be honest."
"What? Of course it isn't-"
"Stop lying." You let out, eyes burning up into ashes as they redden like cherries. "I mean it."
"Why would I lie? You- you look pretty." Damn it. He's let the cat out of the bag, fingers covering his lips before he decides to just accept his terrible fate.
No, that wasn't- that wasn't what you wanted to hear. You toy with the flesh in your mouth, the skin of your forehead scrunching and bunching up.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no... You shouldn't be mad at him, he was just looking at the dress, he wasn't judging you, you just made him call you pretty. Wait, you're pretty?
You ignore that, your skin crawls at the compliment. You hate it, you hate him, everything about him.
Your eyes are - Ugh. What are you doing?
"Well, it was just because... because.." You stammer, fiddling with the syllables of your words as the image of that particular black jacket appears in your mind.
"Because?" Satoru questions, taking in a deep breath. He feels strange when your eyes swell up like that, so strange that he can't put it into words even if he tried.
"Are you crying?" He doesn't know if he should ask, and he's especially scared of sounding like a total asshole. What if the tears just poured out when he asked? But, it felt too wrong, so wrong to just watch you fume up like this without adressing the elephant in the room-- the warm beads flooding the crevices of your eyes.
"You lied." You use the knuckles of your fingers to pat at the corners of your eyes, breathing in a shaky breath as you do, chest slowly rising. "Why did you-"
Okay, he could understand you were beyond frustrated, but falsely accusing him of lying. Oh, he couldn't stand it, even if it was you pointing fingers at him. Even if it was his dear, beloved friend.
"When did I-"
"Hello, I just couldn't help but notice that dress on you, ma'am. It looks wonderful."
You turn around, looking like a deer in headlights at the saleswoman who probably watched that whole shit-show with front-row seats. Gojo, on the other hand, takes in a sharp breath, rubbing his cheek before acknowledging the fact that they were in public, fighting in public, like a-
"Oh? Are you two a couple? We actually have a His and Her deal going on until the end of this month. Would you be interested?" It's the same woman he accidentally ignored, the same woman who unknowingly directed you to Gojo's lie. She's back, this time to upsell you on products you really don't need and can't afford. You thought you had formed some kind of alliance, but alas, she was just doing her job. Unfortunately, you were her target.
Now this, this was the reason for his visit in the first place. There was no way he was going to leave without purchasing color-coordinated outfits, the same ones he's been anticipating the release of since the beginning of winter. Usually, he'd be the type to despise such a release, one that didn't serve him any purpose, but because of you, and solely because of you he was...
"Yes. We're interested-"
"No-" You protest, the tears drying up against the dry of your eyes.
"We are interested." He grits his teeth at you, pulling you in closer to his side, saving face with a smile as his arm wraps around your uneven shoulders. "There's a matching suit for this dress, right? I saw it in the catalog."
"I-" You try to refuse, but they've already beat you to it. What was this? Your unlucky day?
You've been having a lot of those recently. And this day is no different when his arm sticks you to him like glue, feeling the outline of his body against your hip. You shudder, skin crawling once more at the mutual warmth. His fingers press against the fabric of your shoulder, giving you a light squeeze and pat. You might as well bark and get on all fours like his dog at this point, that was how you felt. Like Gojo Satoru's pet, always at his service.
The woman gives him an eager nod, "I'll get the sets out for you two. Please give me a moment."
Your eyes shoot up at him, and it's an angry look, no doubt. First, your vision traces his fingers that hold you, then at the knowing smile on his face. He knows you hate it, and he's just going to continue this torture of his until he's satisfied. You didn't even have to go through another cycle of defiance only to cower at his Six Eyes. Like a dog, you've been trained into obedience, without a single treat in your bowl or stomach.
In other words, you're at a loss. Advantage-wise, speech-wise, physically-speaking, emotionally-speaking... all of it.
Even though you eye him with such venom when that neutral expression looks back down at you, those beads still linger. You don't know what to make of your own conflict anymore, having a difficult time as the ground fills your line of vision.
"Hey, why did you tell her that?" You whisper-hiss, as if those words were meant to be kept a hidden secret. "Now she thinks we're a couple..."
There they are, Satoru takes notes of those tides as his arm slips from your shoulders. They're clashing, the gritty sand soaking those waves dry.
"Are you okay?" Did he have the right to ask such a question? To show an ounce of his care? Was he allowed to?
"It was for the discount." Is what comes out instead as he widens the small gap between the both of you. Ironically, this much more appropriate response leaves him questioning his own intentions. "Why? Does it bother you?"
No, it shouldn't bother you. It doesn't.
"You ass..." You mutter, hoping that somehow a miracle occurs. One so miraculous that his memories of your vulnerability erase.
However, such miracles never seem to hit you - they miss by a large shot.
"I hate you."
Or maybe they do as Gojo just nods. At least this once as you break contact with him, a comfortable silence settling in.
"The feeling's mutual, don't worry."
Satoru doesn't want to test the validity his words.
"You lied."
That isn't so far off from the truth.
...
"How is it?"
Your reflection is disappointing. The colors that swallow you are lackluster, they trap you.
"I don't like it." What outfit was this again? You lost track.
"Oh, that's too bad. Does it fit?" Satoru crosses his legs, resting in a fancy, maroon velvet armchair.
"...Yes." You answer, rubbing your arm. You're losing.
"What was that?" He tips his glasses on the bridge of his nose. "Sorry, I just can't hear you."
As if.
"It fits." You speak up, tone numb as you tell him what he wants to hear.
"Good."
This, unfortunately, has been the norm of your conversations for the past two hours. Gojo would pick out an outfit from the spring catalog, force ask you to try it on, then he'd ask for your optimistic opinions which he held zero regard for whatsoever before buying or trashing it.
"Excuse me," He holds up a hand before pointing at you. You blink at this, dread filling you whole. "She'll take this one as well."
You did not say that, but you must be remembering things wrong.
The saleswoman nods. "Of course, sir."
She moves to pack up a fresh set, but quickly presses onto her own breaks when he opens his mouth to command speak once more. Poor thing, you can't help but feel your own foot ache at the amount of times she's had to deal with this.
"Also, I want all the accessories."
"A-all?" She raises both eyebrows, masking her shock with a boxy smile. "Are you-"
"I'm sure." Satoru nods, finally looking at the woman.
"Yes, sir. I'll get started on that right away." She scurries off with such urgency that you'd think she was held at gunpoint.
Your lips flubber as you exhale, taking in your reflection. Today has weirdly been all about you, in the worst way imaginable. You can't seem to catch a break with the absurd amount of haughty-designer outfits thrown onto you. This one in particular was your least favorite.
A blue shirt, reminiscent of those soul-sucking Six Eyes, short-sleeved with a slight puff in the shoulders, adorned with buttons of a similar shade. Though it is soft to the touch, it's more than unbelievable to you that this costs around three-hundred yen. The white lace skirt draped all the way down your ankles is no cheaper either, but a couple hundred yen was like child's play for the rich. Another regular day, nothing new.
Furthermore, Gojo hasn't tried on a single thing. He just assumes he'll like his side of the outfit based on yours, a total gamble of your money.
"Is there anything else...?" You decide to follow routine, but of course, it doesn't work when you finally accept your fate.
"Nah, you can go change now." He rolls his shoulders back before getting back on his feet, the chair as empty as he found it. "I'll be waiting outside, yeah?"
You carefully nod, studying his sudden change in demeanor as he whistles to himself, that stern expression wiped off the surface of his face. Now that was bipolar.
"Okay." You'd hate to send him into another frenzy of playing dress-up with a doll that was more than unwilling because you would also like to move on from whatever this was.
One piece after another, as if you're being timed, you strip down your clothes only to re-dress yourself in your original (work) clothes. Oh, how you long for that nine-to-five lifestyle, how you miss being stuck in that stiff office chair. Today taught you that being rich and ambitious was not for the weak, that you, the weak, suited the likes of a corporate, forty-hour work week. Not this pretend fantasy, this mere illusion.
Right now, you'd do anything to escape this hell-hole of a place and that demon of man.
"Oh," Your hands reach for your jacket- sorry, his jacket.
"You lied."
You forgot to prove your point, the evident truth that Gojo Satoru was a liar.
...
You can't believe it. Not a single bit.
"For the last time, and I say this with all due respect, but your items have already been paid for, ma'am." The bald man at the counter sighs, holding a receipt before you.
You cautiously scan the very long paper, fingers grabbing it's very end as your eyes widen at the total.
"But... but-"
You profusely rub your eyes, blinking over and over. You might as well go into cardiac arrest at the seven bolded digits, grasping the thin receipt between your shaky fingers.
"Correct," His voice cuts through your multiple stammers. "You didn't pay, your boyfriend did, ma'am."
B-boyfriend? Gojo Satoru? That man?
"He didn't, and he's not my-" You don't even get the chance to make your case clear.
"The signature is at the very bottom."
You stuff your face into the very butt of the paper, eyes flickering between the signature line and the uncanny smiley face drawn on top it. What an eyesore.
How in the world did he pay? You chew onto the flakes of your lips, releasing a deep breath from the very depths of your lungs. You were under the impression that Gojo came here with absolutely nothing but himself. And the flowers. You almost forgot those flowers, and you accidentally remember how ugly and spacious they look sitting on the counter of your kitchen island.
"Ah, I... I see now, sorry." You let out an involuntary laugh, shoving the receipt down your pocket. "I'm sorry for taking up your time, let me just-"
You grunt, looping one bag onto your arm after another, the worker behind the counter blankly staring as you visibly struggle. Jeez. Were you the one working customer service or was he?
"Have- Have a nice rest of your day." Somehow you manage to carry all six bags, three on your left and three on your right as you head towards salvation. Which was better known as the exit of this damn place.
"You too, ma'am."
Thanks, you mouth to yourself.
You have a feeling the rest of your day will be anything but nice.
So I saw your whole ‘id kill for a boom/prime crossover fic’ and while I am not currently able to write anything I CAN just come up with scenarios so that’s what I’ll do.
Chaos sonic ends up in sonic boom SOMEHOW (maybe boom is a shatterspace? I dunno) and sonic Very Quickly Realizes that this guy is literally him (derogatory)
Shadow finds a shatterspace that he IS allowed in but the problem is that this shatterspace is boom and now he has to deal with all of these people who have no business being this goddamn tall.
Post s3 with nine left in the grim and he’s tinkering or smth and makes a portal by accident and welp. Now boom! Tails has a twin brother.
I think that the boom comics were Archie? Therefore they got affected by super genesis wave. Basically sonic and shadow were th e only ones who ‘survived’ the sgw and now they’re in sonic prime void.
Shadow falls down the hole at the end of s3 ep one and he undertales into boom. It’s never explained why that island is down there. It just is. He gets mistaken for himself multiple times and it’s a whole thing. I guess by this logic a bunch of the nine robots also end up down there. And sonic later.
Uhhh the sonic boom dimension hopping tech from those few episodes malfunctions and now sonic and shadow are having petty slap fights while hurtling through the void.
Shadow gets sonic through the portal at the end of the last episode in time except that instead of coming back to green hill it’s boom now. They’re in boom. This is now their life. Probably not but still. Sonic tries to get his and shadow’s other selves into couples counseling. It doesn’t work.
(Prime shadow voice) I cannot BELIEVE that you would SULLY Maria’s WISH LIKE THIS-
(Boom shadow voice) fucking WHO???
The boom island exists in No Place actually. There’s two knuckles variants. And also the others.
"while I am not currently able to write anything I CAN just come up with scenarios so that’s what I’ll do" THANK YOU 🩷
CHAOS SONIC IS HIM (derogatory) HAS ME IN TEARS
I want to see a prime!Shadow and boom!team and/or boom!shadow interaction SO BAD and now im just imaging Shadow and a couple robots falling out of the sky from the gorge and landing on top of meh burger 🤣🤣 OMG sonic falls down and the first thing he meets is another him which would be extra weird bc so far he's the only non-robotic Sonic
Boom! Shadow: fucking WHO???
Prime! Shadow: you dont have a Maria?
Prime! Sonic: oh no. Please tell me you at least have a Rouge?
Boom! Shadow: who the fuck is Rouge?
Prime! Sonic: Bat. About yay-tall. One of the only people that can actually put up with your shit
Boom! Shadow: *still actively fighting*
Prime! Sonic: not ringing any bells? Uh, your roommate? Your BEST FRIEND
Boom! Shadow: i dont have any friends-
Prime! Sonic: *gasp* this is a universe where Shadow is a only child?! That explains a lot actually
Prime! Shadow: how many times do i have to tell you Rouge is not my sister?
Boom! Sonic: omg there exists a Shadow who has SISTERS
Prime! Shadow: she's not my sister!
Prime! Sonic: wait does this mean you and Eggman are cousins?
Prime! Shadow: he's my nephew actually
Boom! Eggman: WHAT
Boom! Sonic: WHAT
Boom! Amy: WHAT
Boom! Tails: say what now
Boom! Knuckles: huh? What?
Sticks: i told you so!
𝟎𝟎𝟏: 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐄
𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐫 𝐱 𝐟𝐞𝐦!𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫
𝐬𝐲𝐧𝐨𝐩𝐬𝐢𝐬: 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐣𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 (𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐭) 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐯𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞.
trying to adjust to life after jumping five years into the future was hard for you, well, really it was hard for everyone, but it felt especially hard for you.
you didn’t know why, but you felt like you had lost a big chunk of your life, even though technically you hadn’t. you were still exactly where you had been before the blip.
it’s weird being in the same grade with kids who the last time you talked to them, had barely started middle school. now, they sat next to you in chemistry.
you tried not to think about it to much. tried not to think about the fact that five years of your life had been stolen- that realistically, you should’ve been in college right now.
you sniffed, realizing that while you had been staring at the wall mr. harrington had already moved onto the next slide. peter knocks his knee against yours, a silent, you okay?
you glance at him and smile, nodding your head, a silent yes. you turn your attention back to the notes, trying to ignore the way peters eyes practically burn holes into your skull.
you know he doesn’t believe you, but you can’t find it in yourself to care.
not only has the world changed, peter seems to have as well.
he’s more closed off, a bit quieter, he seems sadder. you wish you could force him to talk to you, to tell you what was going on- but that would be a bit hypocritical wouldn’t it?
you let out a sigh of relief as the bell rings, signaling the end of fifth period and the beginning of lunch. you collect your things quickly and silently wait as peter does the same.
as you both make your trek to the cafeteria, you pass by a laughing mj. peter stops and stares for a moment, his eyes widening as he swallows and quickly begins to walk again. you roll your eyes and huff out a laugh, “go talk to her.” you suggest.
peter shakes his head quickly, “talk to who?” he asks, clearing his throat and practically speeding down the hallway.
you match his pace, “oh, come on peter. we both know that you’re like- totally in love with mj! like wes bennet and liz buxbaum type of in love.”
peter scrunches his nose, “who?”
you roll your eyes and grab his bicep, forcing him to a stop. “it doesn’t matter, what does matter is that mj 110% likes you back, and if you don’t do something about it now brad is going to beat you to it.” you say, nodding over peters shoulders to a staring brad.
when he notices you looking at him he quickly looks away, going back to talking with his friends.
peter bites the inside of his cheek, his grip on his books tightening.
“i’ll think about it.” he finally says, and you smile.
“atta boy!”
lunch has always been your favorite part of the day, even if the food is practically inedible. peter and ned argue about which star wars character is the best and why, personally you’d always had a space saved in your heart for anakin, but the only person who knew that was peter.
you do your best to drown out their arguing and instead focus on the contents of the book in front of you. if he had been with me definitely wasn’t the best book you had ever read, but you were enjoying it so far.
you almost don’t notice that ned and peter have gone completely silent until the clang of a lunch tray is sounding next to you. when you look up, you see that mj has decided that she would sit with the three of you today.
you all stare at her in silence for a moment before she scrunches her nose and laughs awkwardly. “what?” she questions.
you shrug, glancing at a blushing peter and a smirking ned.
“you’re sitting with us?” you question and she nods, pulling out her notebook and beginning to sketch. “is that a problem?” she questions.
peter shakes his head so fast you’re sure he’ll get whiplash. “no, nope! no problem!” he stumbles and mj glances at him with a raised eyebrow.
“okay…” she mumbles and you resist the urge to snort at the giddy look on peters face, instead turning your focus back to autumn and finney.
before you can even pick up where you left off though, mj pokes your shoulder.
“i’ve read that.” she says.
you hum in acknowledgment, “did you like it?” you question.
she shrugs, “it wasn’t my favorite book ever, but the ending is pretty sad.”
you nod, “yeah, i’m like 95% sure finney’s gonna die and i’m trying to mentally prepare myself.”
mj snorts and bites her lip, “i’m not gonna spoil anything, but prepare yourself.”
you laugh at that, and you ask her about any other books she’s read. your conversation continues until the end of lunch, and by that point you both have exchanged numbers and you promise to update her once you finish the book.
peter and ned are both staring at you with their jaws hanging open as you walk down the hallway to your english class, which you luckily all share.
“what?” you question and ned runs a hand through his hair.
“you just got mj’s number.” he says.
you quirk a brow, “okay?”
ned rolls his eyes at your obliviousness, “okay? y/n, you’re peters in! this is how he gets mj to date him!”
you scoff, “first off, i’m not going to bargain off my new friend so peter can live out his teenage boy fantasy and swap spit with her on his bed-”
“what!?” peter interjects, his cheeks blistering.
you ignore him and continue, “and secondly, if peter really likes her than he’ll ask her out himself. plus, i’m pretty sure she likes him back, so you don’t even need my help.” you finish.
peter stutters out a rebuttal but you shove a hand in his face, “the answer is no, peter.” you say and he sighs, his head hanging low as you enter class.
you wipe the tears that begin to brim in your eyes as you put if he had been with me back on your bookshelf. you make a mental note to text mj once you finish bawling your eyes out.
before you can curl up on your bed though, there’s a tap on your window.
you jump, startled, until you realize it’s just peter.
peter has been climbing onto your fire escape since you were both fourteen years old. no body else knew about your secret meetings except the two of you, and for some reason that made it feel sacred.
you push the window open with a grunt, helping peter stumble into the your small room.
peters eyebrows furrow when he gets a good look at you, and his hand comes up to cup your cheek. “are you crying?” he questions.
you sniff, “the ending of that book was really, really, sad.”
peter rolls his eyes with a smile and removes his hand, you find that you miss the warmth it brought.
he plops onto your bed with an exaggerated sigh and you furrow your eyebrows and sit next to him.
“what’s wrong?” you question.
he huffs and turns his head away from you.
“peter, stop it.” you groan, playfully shoving him.
he sighs again, “you love me, right?” he asks.
you swallow, “well, yeah, you’re my best friend.”
he nods, “so, if you love me, you want me to be happy, right?” he asks.
you blink, “peter where is this going?”
peters expression suddenly turns very serious, and then he’s on his knees in front of you, his hands clasped together as if he were praying.
“please date me.”
can you tell that i just finished if he had been with me.
Chaotic rambles 9-1-1
s08e06 I am so excited, Bummy bones please. Not what I expected of this episode. Is this an old emergency, I though I read something about that? Omg, not the urn. She's hot. Buck with quarter sleeves, oof. Their thumbs up, idiots. Karma.
Confession!! Is that hot priest? He loves Chris so much, aww. His teary eyes, kill me now. You haven't heard that before, have you?
Btw, Maddie looks so good this season. It was 3 months?? Are we having this conversation, omg. Chim's face.
Is that the same restaurant?? Doesn't Buck hate basketball? So, it was a goft for Tommy. Is this the secret, omg, wait, were our theories correct and was Abby the same person?? OMG, i am freaking out, shaking, unbelievable, wait. The realisation on Buck's face. Hot waiter, hello.
There went his intestions. Why is Eddie's hair so slicked back? He looks hot regardless, but it's weird.
Buck, Maddie, Josh conco. I love you Maddie. The hope in Josh face. Josh asking the hard hitting questions. Maddie is like, he's slaying. I love Josh. I love that, that is the part Maddie is focused on.
I love them. No, you are worried about your wife, that's normal. Why does their bed look cramped?
The tank, aahhh. Mama, there is a hot priest behind you, haha. If father priest would get together with Eddie, would Eddie then be mother? Mother Diaz, love it. Sorry, I'm shitting, buddie for life, but the thought was hilarious. Eddie is like, what do you want? I'm straight, omg, he has never said that before. Sexuality arc coming up. Who love you, debatable, they hate him. He got called handsome by the hot priest. Call him out. Tell him, yess. Is he blushing a little?
Big brother is right, fuck that shit. The pipe, oh no. Unsafe practices. What secrets will be uncovered? At least he can't cute the wire. Aww, Chim is thinking about that second kid.
That shirt, oh lord. I'm the himbo. omg. Did he decorate the loft? You don't act like you're comfortable with him? Here we again, where did we hear that before? Oh god, this is exactly what happened with Taylor, oh no. At least with Taylor they were together for a while. He's gonna say no. He is overdoing it now. Who the fuck is Evan? At least Tommy is reasonable, he's right, I will admit that just this once. Bummy bones!!! Omg. We thought it, but we were right. I thought that maybe they would drag it out a bit more.
Not what I expected from Madney this season, but I love it. I hate that narrative, but this is sweet. Thank you Maddie for saying that. Ahhh, she's pregant, omg. Did not expect that, yayy. Look at them, ahhhh.
He's shaving. Omg, shirtless, haha. Look at him, he looks so young. Hugh Grant in Love actually. I love himmm. He deserves this so much. I am in love with him, aghh. Look at him go. I know Ryan loved this. Look at his smile. Who is that? I hope it's Buck, could be me though. Yess, it is him, why did he ring the bell though? Maybe that was an intentional choice. Maybe, because neither of them are in a relationship, so walking in with your key feels a lot more real, huh. The eye contact insane. This fit is so good on Eddie, they made my dreams come though with this one. If I now, don't see a million fics with Eddie in Buck's shirt, I will crash. Please, my beautiful fic writers, please, I need it. The way he walked over the couch, and Buck was not fased at all. I think you can see here, that he already feels so much lighter, because Eddie from a week ago would never. I am smiling so hard, but also crying, oof. The only thing that could make this better is it being Buck's shirt. I love everything about his episode, my dreams have come true.
You place the cup of black coffee on the counter in front of Clint who takes it with a nod.
"I can't believe you drink that stuff like that man." Sam shakes his head in disgust.
"It's coffee. It just needs to wake me up." Clint rolls his eyes.
"It can wake you up and still be good." Sam tells him.
"Guys. Buy something or leave." Peter groans from the checkout counter.
"This the thanks we get for bringing you lunch kid?" Sam kisses his teeth, walking over to lean against the checkout counter by Peter.
"Well first of all I can feed myself. I appreciate it but you don't have to keep stopping by my job like I'm a child." Peter huffs at him. Sam and Clint have been coming every so often for the last few weeks, sometimes with lunch for Peter or to discuss something with him quietly. Clint usually orders a black coffee and Sam will sometimes pick up a book to buy. They hang around for anywhere from twenty minutes to an hour and talk with you and Peter during that time and then they leave.
"We're customers!" Clint protests.
"Y'all don't read, and there are tons of coffee shops." Peter points out.
"Would your boss appreciate you shooing away potential shoppers like this?" Clint jokes.
"Alright quit teasing him. We could change his work hours and nobody else would let you lollygag in the store this way." You chuckle at the three.
"Yeah! Exactly!" Peter says. "Wait you'd change my hours so we don't work together anymore?" He frowns.
"You're his favorite coworker y/n you can't make him work different hours." Sam says.
"Don't say it like that Sam." Peter mutters.
"Ah don't worry Peter, you're my favorite too." You wink at him. The bell over the door rings and you and Peter instinctively greet the incoming customer before you realize it's Bruce.
"Bruce! Hi! What're you doing here?" You smile at him excitedly as he surveys Sam and Clint.
"I know your shift is about over so I thought I'd come pick you up today. Impromptu date if you will." Bruce smiles walking over to you.
"Oh! Well Debbie should be here in the next like 5 or 10 minutes if you wanna look around or just have a seat and wait." You tell him, leaning over your counter to kiss his cheek. Bruce passes his time looking through books until your relief shows up and the two of you leave hand in hand.
"Hey those guys that were talking to the kid, do you know them?" Bruce asks once you're sat in a restaurant eating. It's like a late lunch/early dinner situation.
"Sam and Clint." You say as you eat.
"Sam and Clint?" Bruce's question obviously prompts for more information.
"Yeah, I mean they're Peter's friends- they come by every so often. Why?"
"They're Peter's friends? The teenager at your job has friends that I'm sure are in their 30s who visit his job?" Bruce's voice is heavy with suspicion.
"I know it sounds weird but they're not like hang out at the skatepark with him type of friends. I think they're like- surrogate brothers almost. They bring him lunch sometimes and tease him like big brothers would do. The kid does not have much in the way of family from what I've learned about him and I think these guys are what he does have." You explain.
"I still think it's strange." Bruce shakes his head.
"I've met them a few times and I mean I'm no seer or anything but my intuition is pretty good and I don't think Peter's in any danger as of now but if that changes I'll be sure to adjust accordingly." You shrug.
"I hope the kid's doin alright, really I do but my concern is with your safety."
"Well my concern is Peter's. He's barely outta high school and lives alone, his parents are dead and those guys seem to be the closest thing to a family that he's got so if they're a danger he has no one and I- don't think I can ignore it." You say. Bruce grabs your hand across the table.
"Y/n, I love how caring you are, you know that but I can't lose you. Be careful with this kid and his friends. Don't get hurt trying to play the hero."
"I'll look after myself Brucey I promise, don't you worry." You say kissing his hand that's still tangled with yours.
"Look y/n I know that you don't really like to discuss the details of my supernatural research and whatnot but I think we have to talk about something regarding some of the work I've done." Bruce sounds hesitant as he talks.
"Nothing good can come from a conversation that starts like that. Is something the matter Bruce?" You ask.
"Yes? No? I'm not quite sure truthfully y/n. My last stint as a research assistant, before I started my own research team, right around when we met. Do you remember it?"
"Yeah I remember, we talked about it a few times in the early stages of our relationship. It was mostly stuff regarding werewolves, right?"
"Yeah. We were studying werewolves here in New York and- amongst other things, we learned that packs around here operate kind of like gangs. I'll spare you the details but you know, territories, crime syndicates, the whole nine yards."
"Are you- telling me that werewolves here are essentially the mob?" You blink at him incredulously.
"Pretty much yes. Look before I finished that gig I- compiled a database, ya know to keep track of who was running things around here- for safety. Sam and Clint are part of it. And- pretty high up on the ladder too I'm pretty sure."
"Sam and Clint are part of a werewolf mob? Seriously?"
"Yes. I cross-checked while I was waiting for you to get off work and-"
"Oh my gosh what about Peter?" You ask, he's just a kid you can't believe he'd be tangled in this mess.
"Well I don't know when I made that database the kid would've barely started high school but- if those guys are the closest thing to family he's got I'd guess he's involved."
"Oh Peter." You sigh.
"I know you worry about him but that is not our biggest problem right now." Bruce shakes his head.
"Excuse me?"
"Well... let's just say studying the werewolves didn't exactly make them our biggest fans."
"Are you implying that you've made enemies of the werewolf mob?" You ask much calmer than you'd expect to react to this kind of news.
"It's very likely. I mean they made quick work of the higher ups from that team most of them are dead or far from New York. I thought I could just keep a low enough profile that I'd stay off their radar and now-"
"Now you've walked right into the same business as two of them who you think are high up the ladder."
"Exactly." He sighs.
"I don't understand. If you knew there was a chance the wolf mob would come after you why the hell would you stay in New York?!" You ask.
"I didn't plan to! But I met a girl who loved New York, and when I fell in love with her I couldn't ask her to leave." Bruce tells you, sincerity filling his eyes.
"She would've." You mutter.
"What?"
"If you had told me any of this I would have gone anywhere. It wouldn't have mattered because we'd be together and you'd be alive."
"I am alive."
"Yeah, apparently, with a giant target on your back that just got a neon sign lit up above it because you came to see me at work!"
"Hey, none of this is your fault." Bruce says softly.
"I know that. It's yours. You and your supernatural studies. I worried that one day it'd come back to bite you I just didn't think it'd involve the mob!" You huff running a hand down your face.
"Calm down, everything is fine. It was years ago they might not even have recognized me. It's just- I'd rather let you know in case they do. Just- you have to be extra vigilant."
"Me?" Your eyes widen at his words. This is his mess why do you have to be vigilant?
"Yes- if they did realize who I am, they also now know that you're my girlfriend which unfortunately could mean that they implicate you to get to me." Bruce explains slowly like he's expecting you to explode at his words.
"Oh for fucks sake." You drop your head into your hand.
"Y/n I am so sorry. If I had known that this would put you in danger-"
"You couldn't have known three and a half years ago what would happen now. It is what it is and we will figure it out. Like always." You tell him softly. "I just wish you wouldn't have waited until it was emergent to tell me all of this."
"You're right. I should've told you- it's just- a little difficult to gauge when is the right time to tell your girlfriend the supernatural mob might try to kill you one day." He shrugs with a small smile.
"It's fine. We've got this. You and I can surely handle anything." You wink at him and you can see the tension in his shoulders release slightly. Maybe this was the right time to tell you. You think if he told you earlier, like a year ago, maybe you'd have cut your losses and never looked back.
~*~*~
The sound of light tapping causes you to glance out the window of the sandwich shop you're in having lunch with Wanda.
"Aw, hey little guy." Wanda coos at the animal.
"You don't see a lot of non pigeon birds in the city huh. Wonder what kind of bird it is." You muse.
"No clue." She shrugs.
"Oh! I remember what I wanted to tell you earlier." You say.
"Was it about birds?" She frowns.
"No not at all actually. I've been reading this book my coworker recommended to me and I'm pretty sure she's trolling me."
"What makes you say that?" Wanda laughs.
"Because everyone in it is a complete idiot! They make the worst decisions and spend the first like six chapters just pissing each other off!"
"I feel like that's pretty accurate to real life though." She muses.
"I mean- sometimes yeah but like how is that all that's going on so far? It's fiction let me suspend my disbelief a little bit about the true stupidity of some people."
"You don't have to finish this book you know you can just- stop if you hate it so much."
"I promised Lyla that I'd read the whole thing so we could discuss it after. If I had known what she was signing me up for I wouldn't have but now I have to see it through." You say and take a sip of your drink. Your sandwich is already done but Wanda still has a bit left, kind of distracted by your conversation.
"Okay well, good luck with that." She chuckles with a light headshake.
"Excuse me, miss?" A voice takes your attention from Wanda as you crane your neck to see two men smiling warmly at you. They're tall and clearly well built, one blonde and one brunette.
"Hi, can we help you with something?" You ask and though you try to be polite you can't completely hide the slightly defensive feeling in your tone.
"Sorry to interrupt you ladies it's just that I- we couldn't help but notice how radiant you are and wanted to tell you. You seem to light up the room." The blonde says. His voice is smooth and strong.
"Thank you. I know." You say.
"And she's confident. You must be quite a catch." The brunette chuckles.
"My boyfriend sure thinks so." You retort with a smile. You clear your throat and stand which prompts Wanda to do the same. "Look I appreciate the compliments but we really do have to be going so enjoy the rest of your day gentlemen." You say evenly, linking your arm with Wanda's and turning towards the exit. You hear the pair chuckle as you and Wanda leave.
"Oh my gosh!" Wanda gushes. She looks over her shoulder for a moment before turning back to you with a look. "They were gorgeous!"
"Don't start." You tell her.
"Don't act like you didn't notice those men were basically Greek statues come to life y/n!" Wanda nudges you.
"I noticed. I also noticed they were hitting on me and I noticed that I've been in a relationship for three years. Now maybe that's not obvious to you but those pieces of information do not go together."
"I wonder who they are though, it's not every day two gorgeous men come up to you to tell you how radiant you are." She looks back again although the shop by now is out of sight.
"You mention this to Bruce and I will fight you." You warn her.
"Why does it matter? So some guys complimented you. Is he that insecure?" She frowns.
"No. He's not insecure but you're talking about these guys like they're Hercules and I know you'll mention how hot they are to him. I don't want him asking me what I think about them." You say.
"So you are gonna mention it?"
"Yes. When he asks how my day was I'll throw it in there casually, ya know minimize it so he has no reason to dwell on it." You shrug.
"I should've asked their names."
"Why? They didn't even talk to you." You laugh.
"When men like that start showering you with praise you want to keep them around don't you?"
"Bruce showers me plenty Wanda." You roll your eyes.
"Praise can never be too much." She shrugs.
"You are ridiculous." You shake your head at her.
"I'm correct is what I am." She laughs. You don't bother responding to her as the two of you walk into the mall. You spend a few hours there before eventually going to your respective homes.
"Hey, you're back." Bruce smiles when you find him with his laptop in the living room of your apartment.
"I am indeed." You say kissing his cheek.
"How was your day out with Wanda?" He asks you.
"It was fun, time with Wanda is always fun. We got lunch, we went shopping, some guys called me 'radiant', I didn't buy anything but Wanda got these gorgeous shoes that are honestly perfect for her. Nothing momentous really."
"Somebody called you radiant?"
"Yeah. While we were at lunch some guys came up to tell me they thought I was radiant and lit up a room." You shrug casually. "How was your day baby?"
"What did you say to them?"
"Thank you, my boyfriend would probably agree, and that I had to go. Well that we had to go, since I was with Wanda." You say.
"Who were they?"
"I don't know? They didn't introduce themselves and I didn't ask because I didn't care."
"Hm, how odd." Bruce mutters.
"That some guys complimented me while I was at lunch?"
"No! No, of course not that. I know that happens all the time it's just- in conjecture with those anonymous gifts we never found the sender for-"
"You think that gifts I got a month ago have any correlation to two random guys at a sandwich shop today?" You frown.
"Not necessarily it's just that- that was odd and there was no conclusion there and now this."
"Okay not to sound dismissive baby but I think you're just a tad bit paranoid."
"Paranoid?"
"Yes paranoid. You've been on edge all week since seeing Sam and Clint. I know you worry but there's no need to dwell on some random guys calling me radiant while I was at lunch." You shrug.
"Yeah, maybe you're right. I just can't shake the feeling that they're up to something."
"The strangers?!"
"No obviously not, Sam and Clint."
"Well, they haven't made any changes to their behaviour since they saw you. They're still as respectful as they were before so I can't say they've given anything away if they are up to something. Not to say they aren't but don't lose sleep over this, it's not like you can predict the future." You say kissing him.
"I don't want you to get hurt because of me." Bruce mutters when you pull away.
"I know." You pat his chest. "What do you want for dinner? I'll make something."
"Oh I already made some chicken and potatoes, it's in the oven now, hope that's okay."
"Yeah that's totally fine." You smile. You know Bruce's concerns are warranted, and you're worried too- after all Bruce thinks you're the more likely target, you just wish he wouldn't get so worked up about things out of his control. Every time you leave he acts like it'll be the last time he sees you and that unnerves you more than the theory that the werewolf mob is watching you. At least that, right now, is nothing more than a guess on your part and not a guarantee.
¿۵Crazy in love۵?
Characters: Mina Ashido x sub!male reader Fandom: MHA (My Hero Academia) Genre: smut
NOTE: This is a continuation to my previous fic, which ig is a part1? This will be 3 mina fics in total, i have 1 fem one and this one will make 2 male ones :> this was also a request by two of my amazing followers, one asked for the og fic and another asked for pt2, so enjoy :D P.S. this is a continuation, so i recommend reading the first fic: ♡ _________________
You went through your day attending classes and so on.
You pretty much stayed in your corner except for hanging out with Deku and talking with Momo, who was planning on having some movie night....
Somewhat along the lines, you would have to talk to Mina about it later...{opening for a part 3?????}
On the topic of Mina, where is she? After your "conversation" with her this morning you haven't seen her....
Its fine, you know your way around the school, she knows her way around the school, she has classes, you have classes, you know that you wouldn't have her around all the time, but most of the time atleast.
Besides you are in the same class, so you get to see her all the time.
(((Ring)))
There goes the bell, you decided to wait in the class for a bit knowing the hallways would be crowded, you timed it and in 15 minutes you were out the door, well atleast by the door waiting for Mina....
You sighed and thought to yourself why does she have 3 million school supplies????
Truth being she didn't have that many supplies she was just talking to Momo....
She hurried up and got out, she took your hand in hers and walked down the hall way....
silence....it wasn't an awkward silence just a unusual one...
you were a bit surprised Mina hadn't began telling you about her day, especially since you guys didn't see each other, maybe it made your heart drop or not, you just focused on her body language, analyzing her to see if you had upset her.
She took out her phone and began texting....(I am a firm believer that U.A has the best free wifi...FULL BARS AND EVERYTHING, FIGHT ME)
You peaked over but couldn't really see much so ignored it, not like that would matter, because it felt like she was ignoring you.
You let out a dramatic huff which was "ignored" before reaching the dorms, you abruptly let go of her hand and walked inside, poor Mina...
You were to busy stomping off to see Minas shocked face....Later that night, to be exact 11:00 you were still awake, reading a book.
Everyone, well mostly everyone was asleep, Deku, Momo, Todoroki, were all gone and Denki, and Kiri were probably up doing some random weird stuff, probably mixing poison in the dorm kitchen...
You heard a knock on your door, and you went to open it.. Mina, it was Mina...
she gently pushed you aside and locked the door and plopped herself on your bed...
"Are you mad at me?~"
"No, not at all."
"Lie"
"Its 11:00, why are you here, go to bed"
"Im your girlfriend Y/n, are you giving me a curfew?"
She chuckled a bit as you leaned on the wall...You noticed she has something with her, a small bag...You raise an eyebrow and gestured to it..
"Oh this? just something to spice our night up"
"our night up? you didn't tell me you were sleeping over, if so i still have some of your clo-"
"no. Remember this morning?"
You froze.
"i told you that i would "leave more tonight", correct?"
You nodded slowly..."o-ok, so what does that have to do with the bag?"
She clasped her hands and opened her bag, she pulled out a very bright coral vibrator (omfg i struggled not to put pink) , perfect size and everything, and she playfully turned it on and off.
"woah woah, explain, p-please"
"How about i "explain" it to you visually, or what's the right term, hands-on-hands?"
Your legs begin to shake, thank god you were leaning on the wall.
To your surprise and maybe your relief she wasn't going to use it on you...
(if you were waiting for that, ill make a new fic just for that scenario if you want) She gestured for you to get on your knees, and you did so with out hesitation (i would too).
To your surprise she removed her clothes, tossed her panties aside, turned on the vibrator and began to work, on herself. You watched intently, taking notice of how her pretty thighs spread, and her puffy lips ached, and her poor clit being feed with so much stimulation, your cock twiched as you watched her, you were getting impatient, and she could feel it... And she made matters worse, by moaning out our name ever so softly, and adding a few praises in between...
gosh you were mesmerised... "look at you, practically drooling as you watch me pleasure myself" "M-mina...please" "please? what? say it~" "please, please let me touch you..." "no." (LITTERALY FLABBERGASTED, AND IM THE AUTHOR) "please please please, wanna touch you, wanna make you feel good, wanna stuff you full-" She huffs in amusment but gives in immediately and calls you over, she lets you pick her up and place her on your lap, right infront of your mirror... you slowly run you fingers over her clit and bring them down to her entrance, you slowly slide 2 fingers in, setting a steady pace you pump your digits in and out of her pretty hole...
Her sweet moans fill the air as you kiss her neck, dont be fooled, she is still the one in control, view it like this , you are her pawn... "Fuck, Y-y/n mmhm im so so close" You keep your pace steady, hitting her g spot over and over, her walls clench around your fingers as she cums, leaning her head back as she sighs, you kiss her cheek and rub her waist calming her down like the good boyfriend you are.
"Take your pants off for me" you quickly did as told, one swift motion your pants and boxers were off and your dick was out in the open for her. She laughed softly.
"good to know I still turn you on"
you huffed at her, just wanting to touch her and feel her...
She pinned you down and kissed you deeply, using one hand to take your member and stroke it gently...
you softly moan in to the kiss as she positioned her hips. She slowly brought her hips down and began bouncing...
You let out a soft whimper, finally being inside her making your brain turn to mush.
Her juices covering your length as she bounced up and down.
The sight to much for you to handle you let out soft groans but they soon became loud, she felt so good, the way her walls clenched around you, the way her tits bounced, the way the light reflects off her, her on top of you made you feel some way...
like she was using you, for her pleasure which you loved because pleasing her is one of your biggest goals, using you like a fuck toy, over and over.
It made your head get all dizzy and fuzzy and before you knew it you were thrusting Into her, you held her waist, guiding her.
She had already cummed you can't let her do all the work...
her sweet praises filled the air as you took over with doing the action, still being her perfect sub, but helping her.
"Such a good boy, huh? Fucking his girlfriend so good" she ran her hand through your hair gently tugging it.
You let out a long moan, you cock throbbing, it's like it reacted on its own to her praises, in seconds without warning you shot you long sticky white ropes of cum into her.
"Ahh, m-mina I'm so sorry m'sorry, fuck you just felt so good~" tears form in your eyes from the pleasure.. you felt to good to pull out, much less warn her...that didn't matter to her, she just kissed your forehead and cupped your face.
You sighed contently and closed your eyes, happy with the events of your night...
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
You been quiet all the time in class, people would often ignore you or just make fun of you for always being on your phone or just playing video game all day even at scholl you didn't give up on playing, barely studying for you exam which is bad, and you know iot, butr you didn't care you wanted to talk with your friend, from all around the world and online on your ps5, you play so much game yet you still bad in some of the.
You often play survival game, or adventure game you found them atractive you don't know win though.
Right now your in class waiting has time goes by, english class...
you always bored in english class, first because your French but worst is that you know how to speak english and right now you learn boring things, you knew everythings already, video game and watching video helped you a lot to learn english but now you bored has fuck to be in this class, you answer without even listening, the teacher is happy but wish you at least don't draw in class or be on your phone !
each time she grab your phone or ask you to stop drawing, which you still keep doing without having her seeing one thing.
When the bell ring you run out of class, fanaly you can be on a small break to play !
You run out saying bye and go outside behind a bulding under a tree so you can see your screen.
You sit down on the grass and start your game happy now, you play a lot of game on your phone but always get bored since yourphone was not that game, you don't have the money after all so you only play on that small phone of your.
barely 2 minutes later, a bell ring, but not the usual one, saying "the prinsipale is needed in the meeting room".
oh boy you knew what that mean...
did the school just go into shooting mode !?
You stand up and go behing a bush byt decide to go in and look through the leaf, there was people there, the have knife, axe or more like a machet, and they were probably 5 of them there !
You look closely, they look weird, why did that guy have his mouth open like that !?
one even have a clock in her eyes, frolm what you can see.
You hold your breath at that, why did you have to come to school that day ?
You see a guy looking like Link from zelda, is he cosplaying while doing a murder ?!
Before you understand what happen, you see him diseppears into the phone of his friend, you froze in place, how is that posible, does your glass are dirty or something !?
How did he just go into a phone like a fucking glitch in a game !!
You hide even more when you see this.
fuck i'm so screwed, they already have blood on them what the fuck is happening here !?
You look again before you see them heading to your science building.
oh fuck i hope they all locked their room- i don't think the will survive this if they didn't !
After a minutes you hear scream and another alarm in the building, one you didn't hear at all
It hurt your ears so bad it's so loud
You panic and try to get out of here.
A lot of people start to run toward the exit.
But there was other people waiting for them you knew it, you run toward the gymnast, you could climb the fence and run into the small field to get away.
You go there and see corps...
your teacher corps in front of you, blood alll over the place, headless, organ out, they even draw with his blood on the wall, that make you sick
You run past that holding your phone and try to call the police, but your phone was all black, what the hell when did it turn off !?
You jumps over the fence and fall on the floor, your were panting already but keep going, you stand up and run away has fast has you can from this place.
Once far enough you sit behind a tree and gasp for air, you never run this fast in your life ever.
You look at your phone and see it glitch, you look at it shocked but curious.
before you see someone appears smiling, this was this creepy guy from before !!
"well shit-" Your reaction seem to make him look at you amused and surprise by that calm tone
"yeah fuck this, get out of my phone i'm scared enough just kill me at this point-"
He smile even more creepy, he like that you can see it, before you know it and hand come out and grab your neck harshly making you gasp of pain.
You close you eyes but nothing happen, the hand let you go before you see your phone back to normal when you open your eyes.
"what the fuck just happen-..."
You didn't want to figure this out and stand up running away going back home.
It took you a while but once home your brother come to you and look if you ok, he hear of it already, he is just happy to see you alive and safe now
You go to your room to lay down and calm down your phone on the desk.
You hear noise and look at your tv on the wall in front of your bed.
You look scared at that, it was glitching before you see the same guy waving at you amused, you know you can't escape him anymore, even if you try he will be here.
"awwww something wrong little girl~" You try to stay calm when you see the text on the tv, before all the sudden he come out.
You back away when you see him coming closer now on your bed, your bed was on the floor so he just knees down and crawl to you in a creepy way.
He have a knife-
You panic and kick him in the jaw
"get away you pervert ! i won't let you rape me or kill me !"
he hold his jaw before he look even more creepy
"aaawwwww but i was just planning on killing you, but i can also have fun with you~"
you push him away in panic, he go back in the tv laughing
...
"i'm scared to sleep tonight-...."
time goes by and soon it was time to sleep, you did managed somehow to sleep, but what happen that day stay in your mind and wake you up every 2 hours at this point.
But when you do woke up you see your tv glitch, yeah that's it you going to die-
You gasp out and sit yourself seeing that, fear spreading through your body faster than your blood, has you froze in place
cold shiver running down your back while you look at it, soon you see a character that look like link in your tv, standing in a forest.
"what the fuuuck- come on i just want to sleep have mercy-"
The tv glitch again, and again and again making the character appears closer to you, before it jump scared you, you let a scream out at that.
But soon shut up when it crawl out of the tv and is on your bed now.
You hide under your cover has it get on top of you, his creepy voice whispering to you
"come on little girl~ come out or i join you under that~"
You didn't obey and stay hidden, and soon you feel him get off only to feel him under the blanket now grabbing your feet has it crawl closer to you.
soon enough he was on top of you his glowing red eyes on you.
"let's play a game, if you win i let you live, if you don't i kill you~"
you gulp but nob, he get off and get the blanket out of the way, seeing my ps5 already one now.
"let's see what game we can play mmmmmm~ how about this one, simple and easy, roblox but a horror maps"
you just nob having no choice, you already hate that...
Has time goes by you calm down and almost was enjoying, you hated horror game though, and you feel like he do know it somehow
You get a jump scared and fall back curl up holding a scream, and that make that devil laugh sadistic that you are scared.
"fuck you so scared of that, i love it, let's play more~"
"i wanna diiiiie" he look at you at that and smirk
"i was joking please noooo" he shake his head at that before playing again, you didn't even know where did he get that controler from or how is he able to play with you right now but he does, his character look like him in real life, but you never saw all of the feature he have right now on his character, did he hack that too ?
You sit back and start to play again.
