#why does this alyways fucking happen when i start thinking about minecraft lore

that post made me think of our bullshit lore, since there are a ton of ender dragons over time, what if they had different scales and such related to different end things? Like a chorus fruit dragon, or end stone, end crystals could also be cool. Maybe the current one could be enderman [if we include mobs] or the void? Idk how this would connect to our lore but it would be a cool feature yk?

Ive been thinking about this and an idea that the egg sort of, mimics i guess is the best word, its environment. It also comes with an astrix that it prefers/tends to mimic living things more, like plants and creatures.

A particularly bountiful season of chorus fruits may lead to a dragon that looks like chorus fruits, maybe has some growing off of her, as if she was built to blend in.

Sometimes the egg finds comfort in the sand, and carries that love on in her life, and eventually in death finds herself returning to from whence she came.

Some long for the skies, the egg hatching pitch black like a pocket void.

One time a dedicated group of endermen make it their mission to make this egg the most cared for thats ever been, and when it hatches they see but their own eyes staring right back at them.

Some day fate may decide its time for a change, and the first baby dragon may know the feeling of soft grass beneath its feet and flowers blooming off its back
