Reyes (25thKingsPlot’s Genshin Impact OC)

Well, I got around to writing a short profile for a Genshin Impact OC I’ve been thinking of for a while.  I’ll write more about Reyes later. Also, no art of him, as I am not an artist.

 Again, for now I focused on setting up a basic profile.  The constellation’s name might be Latin for Ocean’s Jaws, but not correctly.  As I used a Latin to English dictionary to find what ocean and jaw is in Latin.  Just to let you all know, his birthday is the date Spielberg’s Jaws came out.  I know the movie created widespread fear of sharks, but for me it’s what made me love sharks.  Contrasting way to love sharks? Yeah I know.  I also couldn’t help but have one of Reyes’ titles be a reference to Fit For An Autopsy’s album “The Sea of Tragic Beasts.”

On another note, I might edit some of his information later, because I’m still not 100%. Especially with what I’m trying to set up in his introduction.  Also, I’m still thinking of his appearance as you can tell by the short generic description I have.  I suck with description, so it could be a long time until I can properly describe Reyes’ physical image I have in my mind.

Introduction: A member of the Fatui, Reyes serves as one of the Fatui members usually sent to Mondstadt.  He was born in the City of Freedom, but as a pre-teen he and his family moved to Snezhnaya for unknown reasons.   Those who knew him were surprised at the boy who always proclaimed to wanting to be the “Greatest Hero of Mondstadt” would join the Fatui.  Some are even surprised at Reyes having a low position, as they have witnessed his monstrous strength whenever Kaeya teases him into fighting monsters.  This brings the question, why is someone so powerful still a Fatui grunt.  Ask, and he’ll answer, “I’m carrying my family’s torch... but also washing it away.”  It is to be noted that Reyes has been spotted investigating various ruins across Mondstadt.

Personality: Reyes is a quiet young man, but not the type to keep his emotions entirely hidden.  He doesn’t entirely mind casual conversation, but would prefer to work on his own agendas then spend so much time with idle chatter.  With the right buttons pushed, Reyes could be pulled into a competition as shown when Kaeya has him face off against some monsters to prove how strong he has become.  He often disobeys the orders of the Fatui, going on his own, doing his own thing.  Hence, why so many of Mondstadt and Fatui find him mysterious, but he can be talkative to those he is close to.  With the people he loves and hate, he can be more expressive.

Appearance: Reyes has light tan skin.  He wears a blue variation of the Fatui clothing, but with the sleeves cutout.
