She doesn't have a name but I'm thinking she's gonna be some kind of a divine sea mer, hence her large size and lack of scarring

I was thinking since Mer!Sky (Pink One) and Mer!Ruby (Red One) technically came from eggs, they have parents but are independent from day one (excluding sibling relationships, they need those until they find mates, but I'm not planning on pairing them up with anyone so Ig they're up for grabs) (Actually, take that with a grain of salt, I still gotta world build for them)

So I knew their parents were probably a monster mer and a human mer trying to procreate, but the incompatibility meant Ruby and Sky were the only successful (albeit defected) guppies of their brood

Anyways I didn't feel right giving them a parent that wasn't me because they don't have canonical parents in the original version, as they were created, not born 😒

So! I loosely based the mer goddess on the adult version of my persona! And was thinking maybe she ain't need no mans-

Essentially I got sea-salty (Ba Dum Tsss) about giving them parents (despite them being absent) so made up an alternative version where they have a goddess mer that I can project on grrr... So yeah, that's what this is

So originally I'd think Ruby and Sky had parents, but in these concepts their parent (singular!) is a sea goddess of creation or something Idfk, half this fandom is just making shtuff up as you go along and that's what I'll do

The idea is this mer was experimenting with new life, hybridization specifically, and I dunno, magical parthenogenesis type shiz cuz y'know, creation goddess

And then the two guppies are left to grow on their own (Sheesh, tough love- Nah, she knows they'll be fine 😭) until one day she seeks them out and reunites, impressed with how well they've developed (first doodle is her checking them out, somewhat in wonder)

The last two doodles are the sisters decorating her with kelp, like I said in my last mermaid post, I think the concept that social creatures gift things to each other to show kinship is interesting and I'm definitely incorporating it! I think here it would mean they accept her as their parent :3

(We see Kristy helping a very very very tired Sharky to their hotel room and to his bed. We see Kristy open the door and guide Sharky in, helping him to keep his balance…Max behind them carrying luggage…)

Kristy:(caring)Almost there dude…

Sharky:(tired as fuck)Good, i don't think i can keep my eyes open anymore…

Max:(we see him look up, a bit of an annoyed gaze)……..So…You seriously like…just have been getting that little sleep huh? Like…Seriously with the 3 to 4 hours the past 2 days?

Sharky:(Kristy getting him over to the bed, he flops down, insanely tired)…3 hours Tuesday, no sleep yesterday and here we are today…

Max:(moving into the room, unzipping one of his bags, glances annoyed)Damn…Hmmmn, well…Pardon me then for this but uhhhhh, seeming a bit too weak to me…Like…Almost like…Along with the no sleep that uhhhh, you haven't been eating again maybe perhaps?

Sharky:(tiredly but annoyed)Ughhhhhh, dude, stop…

Max:(pulling some food out of his bag, shows Sharky a small sushi meal he got, Sharky staring at it despite his sleepiness, Max's suspicions being confirmed)Man, almost like me buying this was some 20-20 hindsight huh? Like i figured you'd do this crap again?

Sharky:(at that moment, we hear a low growling sound and a familiar sound at that, Sharky's stomach begging for food. The sounds pretty audible still despite Sharky laying down. Sharky moans annoyed as Max smirks)

Max:(opening the sushi, smug)Damnnnnnn, right on schedule…Here, (plops the sushi container on the bed) you needa feed that thing, that's part of why you feel so shit…Those headaches will lighten up once your body gets some food…

Sharky:(a bit annoyed)……Dude, this isn't gonna be enough, i hate to break it to ya…

Kristy:(bounces into convo, having been distracted a bit by her phone during this along with her being used to it at this point, smiles)Hey, i have no problems going and getting some midnight meals for us…(standing up and stretching)I'm pretty hungry too, i really do needa eat something…

Sharky:(tired)I do not have the energy to physically get up again…

Max:(crossing his arms)That's why she said SHE'D go, not you ya idiot…

Kristy:(kindly)Try and sleep while i'm gone. I'll wake you up when i get back so you can have some nice hot fresh food…And then you can go back to bed okay?

Sharky:(tiredly, his aqua eyes struggling to stay open)Mkay…Thanks Kris-Kris… ----------- Oh yeah, this dingus has a pretty ass sleeping schedule alot too...So there is also that (but then again like...He is the driver so like...Yeah, ig that tracks too...)
