one thing ive always found really funny is that white Queers™ and white liberals think they're the good white people and better and less racist than all other white people on the planet, (especially white people from anywhere other than the american south, which they believe uncritically is the defining racist culture) but in reality the white people ive met who treat me with the most respect and understanding are poor southern white people in big cities, yes including the rednecks, yes, rednecks are less racist than white queers at northern liberal arts universities. its because they grew up with us and you think that reading theory is the same thing

#like the people ive met #who say the most inadvertently shocking racist shit ive ever heard #are always either from the northeast or the northwest and have been taught that they're not racist #so they never began to even question that they could be or work on their beliefs #or they're from other white countries that they believe are superior #and so for the same reason... never considered that they could be racist #and you can't tell them that they are because since they're so convinced that they aren't #they will take it as a personal attack and think you're evil for making them feel bad #that's ok ill be over here with my feral white friends who don't wear shoes and like to show me snakes they found
