- going to hopes peak academy was a dream come true for any student, no matter whether or not they were a flesh and blood human or something else. that being said, when kiibo first got his invitation to hopes peak, he wasnt sure what to do except squeal in delight and spend countless hours thinking about all the people that he could end up meeting in class

- no matter how much kiibo dreamed about what it would be like to meet the students of hopes peak academy, though, nothing came close to the amount of awe and amazement he felt when he actually started introducing himself to some of them. a lot of them were quirky, yes, but for the most part a lot of them seemed like they were genuinely good people

- one of the first people that kiibo found himself getting close to was kirigiri, since she always treated him just like any of her other classmates and didnt seem to judge him for being a robot. it wasnt something that kiibo would hope took a lot of effort, but it really did make him happy whenever people treated him like they would treat everyone else

- even though there were a lot of people that kiibo felt comfortable with and was able to befriend, such as kirigiri, there were also people that just didnt seem to like him very much. for instance, syo was always talking about how kiibo wasnt worth killing because he was just some dumb robot, and he never knew if he should be grateful or offended by that

- for a long time, kiibo would try to keep the hurtful things that syo would say to himself, since he didnt want to bother people like kirigiri with his complaining. as much as he didnt want to tell anyone about her bullying, though, after a while he just didnt know what else he could do about it. he just wanted to get everything off his chest and find a solution

- after dealing with syo for so long, though, kiibo found himself telling kirigiri all about it and how bad it made him feel. he was a little mortified by how he just said it so bluntly, but he was also relieved by how kirigiri seemed to really care about what was going on and how he was feeling. just knowing she was there made kiibo feel a lot better about it all

- seeing that kiibo had a lot to deal with thanks to syo, kirigiri would always do her best to treat him nicely and take care of him, something that kiibo was eternally grateful for. if kirigiri noticed that kiibo was upset by anything, she would do the best that she could to talk to him about it and help him feel better, even if he was only a little upset about small things

- there were some days where kirigiri and kiibo would spend time together after their classes had ended, and kiibo would usually end up dragging kirigiri along to show her something that he had noticed a few days before and thought that she would like. even if she didnt always enjoy what he showed her, kiibo knew shed put on a smile anyway

- if kiibo were to ever get bullied where someone could see it, especially if syo was the one doing the bullying, kirigiri would make sure to get in the way and tell off the bully for making fun of him. during moments like that, kiibo was just glad that he had a friend that treated him as nicely as kirigiri treated him. he liked knowing that she would defend him

- throughout his time at hopes peak academy, kiibo came to realize that the students there werent as unusual as he thought that they would be, despite their quirky natures. a lot of them were just high school kids who happened to be really talented at something, and although there were some bad apples there, kiibo felt like he could connect to them

heres ur headcanons kirigiri! i hope u like them, and if u need me to make any changes just let me know and i can do so! - mod kiibo - when kirigiri was first invited to go to hopes peak, she was absolutely delighted at the opportunity she had been given. she had worked very hard to get to the point where she was prominent enough to be considered an shsl princess, and she figured that being given the chance to go to hopes peak was exactly what she deserved for all her hard work - once kirigiri actually entered hopes peak, naegi was one of the first people she actually met. he seemed a bit plain and boring, and his talent as shsl luck wasnt too interesting to her, so she didnt pay him too much attention at first. it wasnt until later when kirigiri realized that naegi would be important to her life no matter what she did - as her crush on naegi started to develop, kirigiri was just sure that she should spend as much time with naegi as possible. after all, the best way to become someones lover is by being their friend first, right? she was perfectly happy spending any time with him that she could manage, and she knew that one day she would have the confidence to confess to him - the day that she decided to confess, kirigiri cleared her mind and made sure to do her hair and makeup in an abnormally pretty fashion, but she just couldnt seem to find naegi anywhere. she ended up looking all over the school for him, and she didnt end up finding him until she stumbled upon him and maizono kissing each other - in that moment kirigiri could feel her heart shattering, and she knew it was too late to tell naegi how she really felt. she didnt want to stay at the scene with the two of them, so she hurried off and hoped that they wouldnt realize that she had seen them in the middle of a kiss. that night, she ended up crying in her room alone - the next day, kirigiri decided to ask naegi about his relationship with maizono, hoping that what she had seen the day before was something naegi hadnt approved of, even though he didnt seem to mind the kiss. unfortunately, it only hurt kirigiri more to hear naegi tell her that he and maizono had started dating, and she wished shed never asked - as much as kirigiri tried to keep from resenting maizono, because she knew that her entering a relationship with naegi while he was single wasnt technically a bad thing, the resentment she felt for her only continued to grow more and more every time she saw her spending time with naegi. in the end, kirigiri just couldnt help but resent her - to make matters worse, kirigiri kept her resentment and feelings about maizono a secret from her, and maizono was doing the best that she could to become friends with kirigiri. it was just difficult for kirigiri to spend any amount of time with maizono, though, so she spent the remainder of her high school years feeling sad and bitter - the sadness and bitterness that kirigiri felt once she left hopes peak only continued to plague her into her queendom. she wanted to be kind and warm towards people, but she just couldnt seem to get over everything that had happened to her in her high school years. she hated being the queen, and people could tell, even though she tried to hide it - sometimes kirigiri thinks back to the days before she went to hopes peak and wishes that she could go back to those days. back then, the life that shes living now wouldve been a dream come true and she wouldve been immensely proud of herself. now, though, she just cant help but wish that she had done something different in her life
