[written chapter]
[warning: suggestive]
"good luck with him!" haru's voice filled the entire hotel hallway where the rooms the lordland team players were staying in were located.
"give him lots of water." recommended karina in a loud volume so that seungkwan, who was entering his room carrying a severely inebriated minhyuk, could hear.
the boy was so busy trying to keep his partner on his feet that he only responded to them with a thumbs up as he continued to push the taller one, until finally disappearing from sight. the sound of the door closing was heard.
"poor kwan, he's in for a rough night." took pity the older girl, making the other laugh.
"well, that's the boy he wanted." reminded this one teasingly.
"do you have our key?" asked haru, crossing her arms and leaning against the wall as she waited for her room to be unlocked.
"of course i have it." jimin picked up her bag and opened it to start rummaging through the things inside, looking for the card to open with.
"i told you not to lose it." the golfer complained, standing upright and approaching the girl somewhat annoyed, looking inside the accessory, but not touching.
"i didn't lose it!" she defended herself. "don't touch." she softly slapped the girl's hand which went through her belongings with the intention of speeding up the search.
"hey, does this dress look weird on me?" questioned kwon as she looked down at her clothes.
"haru, you asked the same question all night, we already told you that you look amazing." she replied as she kept trying to find the item.
"i guess this isn't my color." she continued with a listless attitude. "you lost it!" she accused jimin again as she covered her face with her hands in frustration.
"i told you i didn't lose it." she scoffed as she held up the small plastic between her fingers, victorious, and then proceeded to stick out her tongue to tease haru. "and you look beautiful, enough doubting." she pointed the card at her defiantly.
"whatever, either way, the night's over." she dismissed. "open up." she pointed her head in the direction of the door.
"haru, you seriously look great." she took a few steps towards the door, but instead of opening it, she blocked it. "look, i'll even give you compliments so you'll understand how great you look through my eyes."
"no, jimin, open the door!" she asked as she laughed at her friend's sudden proposal.
"are you a water hazard?" she blurted out with the smuggest smile possible as she held the older girl's waist to keep her from moving.
"is that the only flirt line you know?"
"you never let me finish it!"
"i already know the punch line, it's bad." she grumbled, reaching for the door key. "open!"
"how do you know the answer, who used it on you?" jimin hid the card behind her back and feigned annoyance.
"hey, i want to go to sleep." haru pleaded, with an amused expression on her face, bringing her hands to hold the younger girl's cheeks between them, as if it would make it easier for her to understand her words.
"who else told my haru that she has them soaking wet?" she pouted her lips and spoke in a higher pitch to sound cuter, which only caused haru to burst into laughter.
"friends, people who have tried to flirt with me, i don't know. i just know they've told me that one before." she rambled nonchalantly.
"and why do you let them throw that line at you? are they more important than me?" she brought a hand to her chest dramatically. "wasn't i your princess?"
"yes, you are my princess, jimin." she grabbed the opposite's shoulder, reassuring her. "now, please let me into the room."
"if i am your princess then you should deal with me first." she took a step forward, standing only inches away from each other, and rested her touch on haru's neck.
"what does that mean?" she scoffed, holding karina's waist to support her so she wouldn't lose her balance.
"please me." she commanded in a whisper, which, given the closeness, haru could hear clearly.
the older one kept quiet for a moment, her gaze static on jimin, contemplating her, -her or what she should do after that statement-. but she just let go of her body, raised her arm to reach for the key that was on the girl's grip and walked away.
"you're drunk." she accused as she finally opened the door and stepped into the room, tossing her belongings around, and removing her shoes.
"i'm not, you know i'm not." she whined as she followed her inside.
karina set her purse down on a small glass table by the entrance, then moved around to the other side to place the card in a slot in the wall, which made the room light up.
she never expected that with the light, would also come haru's body aggressively wrapping around hers and pushing her, guiding her again towards the gateway of the room, crashing her against the now closed door. and as animals, when she had her locked against that piece of wood, she captured her. trapping her mouth with her own, tasting her cherry lipstick, biting her lips as if trying to tear the skin that covered them off.
karina threw her arms around haru's neck and inflicted force to draw her even closer. the emotions overflowing her body were satisfying, she could tell she was happy at that moment, though not for sure because of how clouded her mind felt by the raw human urges her body was having, but she wanted more. reasoned that the closer haru was, the better she would feel. so all her limbs were working to hold her friend as if they were trying to become one with her.
her leg clung to haru's and slid upwards as if she was about to wrap herself around her opponent's waist, but she never succeeded, for it was just another part of her body seeking contact and warmth. still, kwon's palm twisted around it and caressed it, rising up to her thigh, lifting her dress a little, before the younger girl lost her balance and leaned it back to the ground.
yet with their lips entwined to each other's, them wandering over their bodies, and their arms holding themselves, they began to move around the place, in search of the bed positioned in the middle, right behind haru.
jimin took advantage of haru's grip on her torso and lifted one of her legs into the air, then stretched her arm back and removed with some effort her shoe. she dropped her now bare foot again, and moved into action to take off the other, but haru, who hadn't realized what the girl was doing, kept walking. because of this, the blackhaired girl, who had one foot suspended, lost her balance and fell to the floor.
"shit!" she exclaimed upon landing, as she rolled over to sit up and began rubbing the knee she had fallen over.
"what are you doing?" questioned haru exaltedly watching her with wide eyes in surprise.
"what do you mean what am i doing? i fell." she gave her a frowning look.
"are you okay?" she bent down to help her withdraw her remaining heel.
"yes, i'm fine." she affirmed tossing the shoe away. "please don't let this stop you from thinking i'm sexy." she joked, causing them both to let out a laugh.
the golfer grasped her and helped her up, then they both stood looking at each other in silence, the fall having interrupted and calmed the intense moment they were in. she lovingly arranged the younger girl's hair, who brought her lips close to hers to kiss her again. but haru didn't move, didn't reject her, but didn't reciprocate either.
"are you okay?" karina examined her sweetly, to which the girl nodded. "haru, if you regret this and don't want to do it, we can stop now. we'll go to sleep and tomorrow we'll pretend it never happened. i won't get mad, just say the word." she tried to soothe her after seeing her sudden change of attitude.
karina knew it was her first time being with a new person after so many years, and that it might be hard for her to assimilate what she felt.
"do you want me?" she murmured in a thread of voice so fragile that all desire in jimin's body was forgotten, and replaced by the vehement need to hold her and take care of her forever.
"of course i want you, haru." she wrapped the girl in a warm embrace. "you have no idea how much i want you." she assured in her ear.
the girl's chin rested on the opposite's shoulder, their cheeks rubbing together. jimin lowered her mouth just below her ear and left a delicate kiss there, physically reinforcing her words. haru looked to her side, making eye contact, and the two slowly moved closer until they kissed again.
that contact was much more tender than the previous one, it was a sign of affection rather than need. in the way they caressed and rocked with each other, there was a pact of security and trust.
"i like you a lot, haru." she confessed midway through that kiss, after having felt that way for so long.
"i like you too, jimin." she requited, accepting those emotions that had lived with her for quite some time, but to which she had never given a name.
haru inclined slightly, touching the back of the girl's thighs with her fingertips, giving her the signal for her to mildly jump, which the older one took advantage of to hold her and lift her up, getting jimin to wrap her legs around her waist.
they met again in another kiss, as the golfer walked towards the bed.
"are you sure?" karina wondered again once they were at the edge of the mattress.
"sure." she repeated then leaned her back against the sheets and hovered over her to connect their lips again.

Monsta X as fwbs🙏🏻
Monsta X As Friends With Benefits
Shownu
he takes the whole very seriously. sex with him would feel intimate but he respects the boundaries that were stablished in the relationship. Shownu is the type to become very jealous and possessive of you and not have other hook ups beside you. also the type that would take you to dates and diners without the feelings
Minhyuk
In his case it would be impossible for him not to catch feelings. Minhyuk is the type to start th whole thing, the sex would be rough and passionate, but he gives too much and he ends up catching feelings. probably crosses the boundaries a few times and you have to recall him about the agreements. he would also accept doing activities as friends beside the hook up
Kihyun
If you are just his fab, he will treat you exactly like that. a friend who he sleeps with. so Kihyun wouldn't be against going out with friends for exemple but he wouldn't accept going on dates with you. who you guys are together its for sex nothing more. he also has other hook ups and he lets you know about it. you are also a good person he likes to experiment on
Hyungwon
He is super strick with the rules setting on the fwb. this man wont be seeing you outside the bedroom. sure you guys can text and send funny videos and pictures but he wont be hanging out with you. sex is very practical and it lacks intimacy in all ways. he comes and goes
Jooheon
he gets easily attached to the person but he wont develop feelings before he respects boundaries. he might grow warm with you and he often acts like a whole reliable boyfriend but he makes sure you udnertadn he has no feelings side the sex (which btw is hot and passionate). Jooheon wouldn't mind to go out with you and other friends as well
Changkyun
Just like Hyungwon he is the type to have strict rules. and Changkyun won't be showing everytime. he is the type that can come to your place and stay over for a whole week and then disappear for the next 3 months. he doesnt set schedules, there's no feelings and sex is mostly experimental in both parties

✧AN: wrote this while waiting for my Moonbin edit to render so it’s quick and not proofread 😀🫶
✧NOTES: Knight!Jk, Princess!OC, I don’t know just them being cute 🤭
☆☆☆☆☆☆
The wind was cold and rough against your skin. Running through the front public gardens holding Jungkook’s hand afraid to be caught. You hear his laughter through it all causing your smile to grow. You’re really doing it. You’re running away with him. No more royal balls. No more strict rules on your behavior in public. No more expectations. Reaching the city with your heads down you run to his apartment not too far and getting in as fast as you both could.
The door closing behind the two of you gives you a feeling of security and warmth before he turns on the lights and you look around.
“I know it’s nothing compared to the palace but…this is my home…for now,” he walks past you picking up random pieces of clothing previously left on the floor and placing them on his living room chair. You don’t care much.
“Koo, as long as I’m with you…it’s everything,” you walk to him again as he welcomes you with his embrace and a kiss on the top of your head rocking the two of you back in forth. He knew this was dangerous. In the act of one running away with the country’s princess, which had never been done before, he knows the consequences go further than just spending your life in jail. For you though, he would risk it all.
When you first talked to Jungkook 3 years ago on your 18th birthday hoping to befriend him he was cold. Why would the princess want to talk with him? Over time, however, your feelings for him grew and as did his. He did everything in his power to push them down because a relationship with you should have been impossible. Should have been. You were set to marry Park Minhyuk, a millionaires son who had an immense of power through the country. Yes, Minhyuk was handsome and kind but he wasn’t Jungkook. So when his girlfriend of 2 years ran to him in the middle of the day asking him to take her away from here forever, he didn’t even think twice. Immediately began thinking of their future.
You always spoke of Japan and how lovely it was. You can’t continue living in Korea as if people wouldn’t recognize their own beloved princess. Perhaps he can find a job in Japan. His brother was studying there for college. He’s going to have to ask him if you and him could stay there in the meantime. It was going to be quite tricky to leave the country with you but he was determined to complete your wish.
Jungkook had it all set up. You would walk away from the annual royal ball, only the most important people of the country got an invite, while everyone was distracted and meet him behind the palace. Though you were nervous at first you made it. And now you’re here, in the apartment of you boyfriend. You wouldn’t have it any other way.
“We should probably start heading out soon. You’re family will be looking for you tonight sweetheart,” his voice is gentle but with a sense of urge. You nod and pull away from him holding the biggest smile on your face. It’s not that you’re family were terrible people but you personally couldn’t live a life in which everyone’s eyes were on you. Asking them multiple times to be renounced of your title but always declined, you knew you wouldn’t live a life you loved.
“I had to go to an old buddy of mine, Taehyung, for your passport with a fake name so let’s hope people just assume you look like…well yourself,” you laugh looking at the picture on it. Days before Jungkook had asked you to take a passport picture and send it to him. It looked awkward but it just made it more convincing. “I have most of my clothes and some essentials packed-I assume you want to change,” you stare at your ball gown with a blush and nod. “Hang on,” he walks over to a room, assuming it’s his bedroom, and comes back holding grey sweats, a black shirt, and a navy blue hoodie holding them out to you.
“Bathroom is this way,” he takes your hand leading to a small bathroom, “I’ll be right here waiting for you,” as he’s about to close the door for you, you hug him once more.
“Thank you, Koo,” he doesn’t think he’s smiled this big since he was offered the job at the palace 3 and a half years ago. Returning your hug he knows you’ll both be fine and live the life you both have talked about for so long. You’ve talked about wanting a family with him and like any other request from you, he was more than willing to do it.

The Intervention
Prompt: Hi ✨ I just found your blog and I'm reading through My Idol s2 after finishing s1. It's so much fun! Can I request prompt #16 with Monsta X?
16) Going out to dinner with your bias group and it is growing increasingly obvious that someone at the table has a crush.
Pairing: Monsta X SURPRISE x Reader
Genre: Fluff
Song rec as you read: Got My Number - Monsta X
.
"Y/N," Hyungwon said solemnly, guiding you toward a seat. "I didn't want to be the one to say this, but-"
"I'll say it," Changkyun gasped. "We hate your boyfriend. This is an intervention."
"I-" you paused, your mouth falling open as you actually took in Changkyun's words. "You what?"
Hyungwon pushed you into the chair and patted you lightly on the shoulder. "Let's get you a drink."
"Hold on," you said furrowing your brows. "What do you mean you hate Jun? You said you liked Jun!"
"We lied," Kihyun said shortly, shoving a complimentary chip covered in salsa into his mouth. "Next question."
"So...you brought me...to a restaurant...to tell me you hate my boyfriend?" you hissed, trying to tap down your annoyance.
"We thought it was best to pick a public place," Jooheon nodded. "So there wouldn't be a scene."
"This isn't real," you grumbled. "You ambushed me."
"They'll have a strawberry margarita," Minhyuk confirmed from your left as the waiter reappeared. "Sugar instead of salt, probably best if you make it a double."
"And a water," Kihyun piped in. "You should stay hydrated."
"Thanks," you managed, teeth barred. "So considerate of you."
"I thought so," Kihyun hummed with an award winning smile. "Salsa?"
Shaking your head, you heaved a sigh. "What exactly do you not like?"
"Oh, ripping the band-aid right off then, okay," Changkyun said, straightening. "Well, first off, he's fucking weird."
"Oh, if that's not the pot calling the kettle black," you muttered.
"No, I'm weird in a quirky, artistic way," Changkyun insisted. "He's weird in a, I wonder if there's a woman being held captive in his basement, type of way."
Your eyes widened. "What is that even supposed to mean?"
"I thought it was fairly clear," Changkyun huffed.
"Shownu," Minhyuk said, poking the leader of their small gang of bullies. "Are you going to contribute anything?"
Shownu looked up from the menu, a bit lost. "Have you noticed that he smells mildly like kimchi? But like...not in a good way?"
"Okay, I'm leaving," you snapped, slowly sliding your chair away from the table, only for Hyungwon to catch the back and hold you in place.
"Nope," he said, shaking his head. "You're not allowed to leave until you hear our solution."
"Before there is any type of solution," you hissed. "I'm going to need some valid reasons for why I should not be dating him."
The silence around you grew heavy. It seemed like none of them wanted to break the news to you.
Taking a deep breath, Minhyuk took your hands into his. "Y/N, love, you don't even like him."
You opened your mouth only to close it again. He wasn't entirely wrong. Jun was not the easiest person to be with and he was a bit odd. In general, you had fun with him, but there wasn't a whole lot past that surface level.
"I'm happy!" you found yourself arguing nonetheless. "I'm totally happy!"
Minhyuk quirked a brow.
"It's fine," you grimaced. "Totally could get better in time."
"I know you've only been dating for like five minutes," Kihyun sighed, crossing his arms. "But it may be best to cut your losses."
"Why do you guys care?" you groaned. "You haven't interfered before!"
"That you know of," Hyungwon muttered. Spinning around in the opposite direction, you eyed him.
"Don't look at me!" he gasped, shooting a look toward Changkyun.
You directed your gaze toward the youngest man.
Making a point to look away, he cleared his throat. "There may have been that one time."
"Changkyun," you whispered, using his name as a warning.
"It was for the greater good!" he gasped. "I promise."
"And what exactly is this greater good? And who was it?!"
"Well, if you insist on getting the truth today," he muttered, crossing his arms. "One of us-"
"We just want to see you happy," Jooheon cut in, giving his fellow rapper an elbow to the side.
You furrowed your brows. "But-"
"Which brings us to our solution!" Hyungwon chirped happily. "Minhyuk, if you will?"
"So our solution," Minhyuk said, radiating excitement about their master plan.
"You date one of us," Changkyun interrupted, nodded proudly.
"What?" you croaked.
Looking to each boy in turn, they all wore proud expressions, as if this was the best possible idea you could be presented with.
"I'm sorry," you groaned. "I think I just hallucinated."
"Kihyun was the first to volunteer," Minhyuk nodded. "But honestly, a few of us are willing to step up."
Your focus switched over to the boy in question, the tips of his ears a bright red.
"Not in any kind of permanent sense," Jooheon rushed out. "Just enough to create the ruse of a love triangle and give you reason to break up with the guy."
"I dunno," Shownu managed around a mouth full of food. "I think Kihyun thought it was in a permanent sense."
"No," Kihyun chirped. "I mean - If it were - I mean - I"
"I also volunteered," Changkyun nodded. "But so did Hyungwon and if you want to really make a guy feel bad about himself, you should leave him for Hyungwon."
"He is the ideal physical specimen," Minhyuk nodded solemnly.
"And I'm not?!" Kihyun gasped, a hand on his chest. "I think I'm incredibly easy on the eyes."
"Obviously you're good looking and approachable enough to become an idol, but -"
"End the sentence there please," Kihyun snapped.
You sat in stunned silence.
"Y/N?" Kihyun asked, unfurrowing his brows as he looked to you. His eyes softened. "Are you okay?"
"I'm not fake dating one of you," you snapped. "That's-"
"Then real date one of us," Jooheon said simply.
Maybe you were slow on the uptake. "Huh?"
"Real date one of us," Minhyuk repeated. His eyes swept from Hyungwon to Kihyun and then finally landed on Changkyun.
"You say that like it's the easiest thing in the world," you exhaled.
"Isn't it?" Changkyun said quietly, avoiding eye contact. "I know...one of us..."
The room suddenly felt much too small and the air much too thick. You could tell that the guys were speaking to you, but you couldn't hear a word.
Okay, so maybe you were on board with breaking up with Jun. You recognized that if it took this small of an argument for you to consider it, it likely wasn't meant to be in the first place, but...
Date one of them? One of your best friends? Changkyun alluded to someone in the group having a crush on you for some time, so how did you not see it? Did you just ignore the signs all of these years?
How could you date one of the monstas without the fear of something going wrong and messing up the whole group dynamic? No, it was much safer being totally platonic.
"I can't," you broke through your thoughts. "I'm...I'm sorry guys."
Before anyone could stop you, you pushed away from the table and slid around Hyungwon. His narrow frame attempted to block your exit, but you managed to sidestep away. While heading toward the door, you couldn't ignore the sound of breaking glass behind you.
The waiter had finally returned with your drink...just when the boys had surged forward to follow you.
Well, shit.
Unsure if you were going to laugh or cry, you made the safe choice to continue outside in case it was the latter. Turning the corner, you nestled yourself in an alley between the restaurant and the shop next door. Heaving in deep breaths as if you had been drowning, you leaned against the cool brick building. The cold cut through the thin fabric of your top, causing you to shiver.
"Y/N!" you heard several voices call. "Y/N?"
Closing your eyes, you tried to focus on your breathing. They would find you and then what?
"Y/N," a familiar voice huffed, relief evident in its tone.
Peeking out of one eye, then the other, you slowly tilted your face up to address a margarita-red and dripping Kihyun.
"Hey," you said softly, feeling a smirk tug at the corner of your lips. He looked ridiculous.
"You can laugh," he grinned. "Our waiter has exquisite timing."
"Apparently," you chuckled, shaking your head. This whole thing was insanity.
"Y/N," he sighed, the grin on his face replaced with a stern expression. "None of us wanted to pressure you. Usually when we bring up an idea you don't like, you shut us down, tell us we're idiots, and we all go about our day. Why was this any different?"
"Because this wasn't a plan to skydive in our underwear," you muttered. "This was me DATING one of you."
Kihyun winced. "Well, when you put it like that."
"Yeah," you grumbled. "See where I'm coming from?"
After a few moments of silence, Kihyun pursed his lips. "You could've said you don't have feelings for me. It would have sucked, but I would've been able to take it."
Your attention shot back to his face. "I'm sorry, did I miss a chapter?"
"I...I thought," he trailed, tilting his head as his brow furrowed. "I thought Changkyun and Shownu's comments made it pretty obvious-"
"No!" you gasped. "At no time during that lunch did I assume it was you, Ki."
"Oh," he chirped, his face turning a nice shade of pink. "Well...uh...in that case...um...disregard all of that?"
It was Kihyun. Kihyun had a crush on you, and you had never seen it...
You tried to go into your brain's way back machine and think back to any intimate moments the two of you had shared. Sure, you had cuddled a time or two on a movie night, but which of them hadn't you cuddled at this point? He teased you, he made sure you were taken care of, and he cooked for you constantly. You thought he was just being nice.
Glancing toward Kihyun, you considered him - like, really, considered him. He was absolutely adorable, you had always known that. It was the way the tips of his ears turned red when he was embarrassed. Or the way when he smiled, his cheeks dented a little bit with unique laugh lines you had never seen before. Or maybe it was his smile itself that was so refreshing. Earning a smile from him was better than any compliment you could receive.
It was more than possible to fall in love with him and the fact that it had snuck up on you like this...was terrifying.
"Okay," you said quietly, nodding more to yourself than to him.
"Okay?" he asked. "We're good?"
"Yes," you hummed, still trying to parse out your thoughts. "I mean no, I mean...yes we are good, but no, not in that way."
He crossed his arms. "Explain."
"Okay," you said simply. "Let's do this."
"Do what...exactly?"
"Date," you nodded. "But if you mess this up Yoo Kihyun, you do not get our friends in the breakup."
"Guess we just won't break up then." he said, a smile now fighting to overtake his lips. "But Y/N...just one thing?"
"Hm?"
"You should probably break up with your boyfriend first."

Hi! I was wondering if you're taking requests? If so could to write some yandere + smutt stuff with Wonho? (If you're ok with it, could you try to write something really dark?)
Oh yay Wonho! Sure thing ☺️
———————————————————————
A little Jealousy ❣️🔪
Yandere!Wonho x fem!reader
Warnings: 18+ , smut, yandere, violence, extreme jealousy, unprotected sex, possessiveness, fingering, overstimulation, light knife play, threats of violence, DUB CON
———————————————————————
Your boyfriend was an interesting guy. Although he’s a fairly big muscular man, Hoseok gave off the impression of someone that could be taken advantage of. Someone that will just let things happen. Perhaps that’s the Pisces in him. But you knew that wasn’t the truth. He is very sweet and loveable but he’s also very obsessive. Sometimes he loved a little too hard and is easily jealous. This paired with his size made him very scary and you often tried to stay on his good side. But that’s not always possible.
————
Thinking back on it, you probably should’ve done more to stop it. Then again, you had been drinking a little, so your judgment could be impaired. But your boyfriend didn’t seem to care because here you were, in the passenger seat with tears rolling down your cheeks as you waited for him to get in the car. So what was your crime?
Well for starters, you had gone out with Wonho and his friends. Changkyun had invited you both and the rest of the friend group for a game night and some light drinking. After going out for dinner, you all came back to his place, pulling out the drinks.
It was in the middle of a game of uno that a lightly tipsy Changkyun was making more suggestive comments. The others saw it as light fun, not taking it serious. But your boyfriend didn’t see it that way. This playful flirting only made him even angrier when you playfully flirted back. At some point he got in between you both, his arm slamming on the table you were all playing on, he was facing his friend.
“Hey! You’re cheating!” Minhyuk called out laughing.
“Yeah… there goes our game.” Hyungwon said sarcastically while shrugging.
But Wonho paid them no mind.
“What’s up, man?” Changkyun said casually, looking up at the man.
Now your boyfriend wasn’t one to confront people like this, especially his own friends so this surprised you.
“Do you think this is funny?”
Changkyun looked at him confused and shook his head. “What are you talking about?”
“Do you think this is funny?!!” He repeated, now yelling and slamming his hand to the table again. This caused you to jump back and alerted all his friends at the table. Suddenly the fun atmosphere was gone.
“Hey baby-”
“Shut up!” He interrupted you, causing you to back up. The others got up from their seats and hyungwon went over to you after seeing how stunned and hurt you looked.
“Hyung, you can’t-”
Before hyungwon could finish, your boyfriend cut him off and glared at him. “Shut! Up! This little shit thinks he’s so sly! Flirting with my girl!”
“That’s not what I was doing! We’re just having fun” Changkyun tried reasoning.
Wonho grabbed him by the shirt and lifted him up before Shownu stopped him.
“Stop it!” He said sternly and Wonho complied, setting the youngest back down. The others were stunned to see him act this way.
“In the car….” He said, not looking directly looking at you, but you know who the message was for.
“But-”
“Now!!”
You quickly grabbed your bag and head out the door, ignoring the others who tried to stop you.
And now here you were, sitting in the car, cold and tears coming down your cheeks. It probably hadn’t been that long but you felt like you’ve been waiting in that car forever. You didn’t know what was going on inside, just assuming that your boyfriend was getting in a heated argument.
Soon he came back, slamming the car door as he came in. You only looked down at your hands as he started driving. It was an awkward ride. No one said anything but you could see just how angry he looked.
Once home, Wonho grabbed your arm and pulled you inside, you almost tripped over some steps but he was pulling you so hard at you would’ve continued being dragged along with no issue.
“Now you’re gonna listen to me.” He said, pushing you to your knees. “I don’t appreciate you being a little slut with my friends!”
“I wasn’t being-”
Suddenly Wonho kicked you in the stomach, causing you to topple over in pain.
“Why would you do that?!” You cried.
“I’m sick and tired of everyone taking advantage of me! You think you’re so slick?! Well you’re not!!”
He kicked you again, causing you to cry out before he left to the kitchen. You tried getting up but your gut was sore.
He came back with a small but sharp knife and you backed up as soon as you saw it. “Baby…? What are you doing…?”
The man crouched down to your level as you backed into the wall and held the knife to your chin.
“I’m not your baby.” He said bluntly. “I’m older, so try again.”
“Sir… o-oppa…?”
He nodded lifted to your feet then grabbing both your wrists in one hand.
“Bab- oppa please! I’m sorry I made you angry!”You were resisting but he continued dragging you.
“Get over here…” Wonho said, getting frustrated as he threw you to the bed, hard enough that you bounced right off to the floor.
You squealed as he grabbed you from the floor by your arm and laid you on your stomach, bending you over the bed.
“You’re gonna learn your lesson little girl.” Wonho said, almost laughing. This was terrifying and you couldn’t turn around to see what was happening.
He was unbuckling his belt and you looked to the side, noticing it being thrown along with the sound of his pants dropping. Before you could say anything you felt your pants being yanked off along with your underwear.
“O-oppa…” you’re voice was shaking, now deathly afraid of him. “W-what-”
Suddenly you felt a sting to your ass causing you to nearly scream.
“Shut it! You’re mine and I will do whatever I fuckin please!” He yelled.
He grabbed the knife from the nightstand and held it to your bare thigh. “Make any movements I don’t like and… well…” he paused and lightly cut your thigh causing you to cry out in pain. It was shallow enough to be nothing too serious but enough to draw just a little bit of blood. But it still hurt all the same since your thighs were pretty sensitive. You were trying to stay still but you were still shaking as he pulled off his boxers. At this point you were going to comply, you needed to really.
Wonho grabbed your arms and pinned your wrists to your back before rubbing his cock to your pussy. You breathing hitched as you felt him suddenly enter. “O-oppa-…”
“Hush baby. Let me do what I do best. I know you want it. Your such a slut for cock.” He replied smugly as he started thrusting. “Looks like you’ll take anyone’s cock…”
You weren’t exactly ready for that; you were still very tight although you found yourself almost feeling some pleasure in this sick punishment.
At this point you were being railed into the bed, you yelled out at first in pain but now in pleasure as you were getting violently fucked dumb. He was holding your wrists so tightly behind your back that they will definitely be sore afterwards.
“Oppa!” You panted.
“I know what you want.” He said, slowing down a little before reaching his hand down to your clit. He was violently rubbing it with his fingers, causing you to cum with a loud moan of his name. He also came.
For a moment you were relieved, thinking this was the end and he got all his anger out but this was before he suddenly flipped you around with his hand to your throat. He was choking you pretty hard and you felt really dizzy and disoriented, but before you could pass out he’d let go, then do it again. As he did this, he continued rubbing your clit, overstimulating you even more to the point where you’re crying and practically squirt.
He let go of your throat for a moment, letting you breathe and cough a little. You were weak and exhausted and of course, very sore. You could barely keep your eyes open and were in a daze.
“Please sir… no more…” you panted weakly.
Wonho grabbed and pushed you to the floor on your knees, you could barely hold yourself up.
“Do it…”
You weakly sat back on your ankles and grabbed his cock. It was huge and you knew you wouldn’t be able to fit it in your mouth completely. You took it in, sucking lightly and slowly bobbing your head. This is before Wonho grabbed your head and started thrusting, fucking your throat hard that it was causing you to constantly gag. You then slumped over after nearly choking on his cum.
Wonho grabbed you by the shoulders and laid you on the bed. At this point you were too weak to do anything and your boyfriend liked you like this. Your legs were spread and knees lightly raised.
“We got to lay some new ground rules…” he said, hovering over you. You could barely focus on him.
“First, don’t talk to any boys! I don’t care if they’re my friends or any of your once friends.”
You could barely nod but suddenly tensed up when you felt the tip of the knife at your thigh.
“Y-yes sir!” You replied quickly, closing your eyes.
“Second, you’re my baby… therefore I have to be with you at all times.”
“O-oppa-…” suddenly you were cut off by an intense feeling between your legs, causing you to gasp.
“Understand?!” He said sternly, now rubbing your clit again with his fingers.
“Y-yes sir!” You cried out, still feeling very overstimulated.
He stopped for a moment and smiled in satisfaction.
“Third… no talking back to me.”
“Y-Yes sir…” you said weakly.
“If you break any of these rules, you will be severely punished. Got it?!” He emphasized the last part and rubbed harder on your clit.
“Yes sir! Yes!” You cried out, your hips bucking a little. You were about to cum again.
“I’m glad we’ve reached an understanding…” Wonho said with a smile, rubbing your clit for the last time, watching you fall apart again when cumming. You were shaking and too weak to move.
Wonho then gently lifted you up and placed you further up the bed so you head could be in the pillows.
“Your my baby girl…” he said to himself as he watched you fall asleep.
“And I’ll kill anyone that gets in the way of that…”
————————————————————————
Ngl, this one was a challenge. Wonho is like a soft bear. But I did my best 😅

Minhyuk As Your Boyfriend
Boyfriend
(n.) A person who 90% of the time annoy you, and 10% of the time makes you forget the 90%
Monsta X Masterlist Here
He loves playing games with you, and he'll happily spend all day doing so. You'll both scream so loudly when you lose, but I hope your neighbors don't mind! You and Minhyuk are the loudest gamers in the neighborhood. You scream and shout and cheer so loudly that your neighbors probably think you're crazy. But you don't care, because you're having too much fun. You'll spend hours playing your favorite games, whether it's Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros., or League of Legends. You'll trash-talk each other and laugh at each other's misfortunes. You'll even get a little competitive, but it's all in good fun. When you finally lose, you'll both scream and shout in frustration. But then you'll laugh it off and start a new game. You'll never get tired of playing games together, because it's always so much fun.
Minhyuk knows how to make you smile, and spending time with him is always so much fun. So when he's away for a few days, you might feel a little bored. But don't worry, there are plenty of things you can do to keep yourselves entertained.
Minhyuk suggested adopting a puppy on a whim, and you thought it was a great idea. You spent the whole day running around the house taking pictures of the puppy, trying to get the perfect shot. You and Minhyuk had been talking about getting a puppy for a while, but you never really took the initiative to do it. But one day, Minhyuk came home from work and said, "I think we should adopt a puppy." You were a little surprised, but you were also excited. You had always wanted a puppy, and you knew Minhyuk would be a great dog dad.
This man will be extremely worried if you get sick or if he sees you crying in front of him. He will do whatever it takes to take care of you, even if it means googling how to take care of you or calling Kihyun at 3 a.m. in the morning. He will hold your hand and tell you everything is going to be okay. He will get you a warm blanket and a cup of tea. He will stay up with you all night if he has to. He will do whatever it takes to make sure you feel better. He knows that you are his priority, and he will do anything to make sure you are happy and healthy. He is the most caring and supportive person you know, and you are lucky to have him in your life.
Minhyuk would love to take you to all the cute and aesthetic places in town. He would start by taking you to a cafe with a beautiful view. You would order coffee and pastries, and you would sit outside and people-watch. Then, he would take you to a flower shop, where you would pick out a bouquet of flowers for each other. After that, you would go for a walk in the park, and you would take some couple photos in front of the fountain. For dinner, he would take you to a restaurant with a romantic atmosphere. You would order your favorite dishes, and you would talk for hours. After dinner, he would walk you back to your apartment, and he would kiss you goodnight. Minhyuk would be so proud to be your boyfriend, and he would want everyone to know it. He would show the members the couple photos he took of you, and he would tell them all about the date. He would tell them about the food you ate, the things you did, and how much fun you had together. He would be so happy to have you in his life, and he would want to share his happiness with everyone.
Minhyuk is so proud to be your boyfriend that he can't help but brag about you to his members. He'll tell them stories about your dates, your conversations, and even your quirks. At first, they'll be happy for him, but eventually they'll start to get tired of hearing about you all the time. They might even start to tease him about it. But Minhyuk doesn't care. He's just so happy to have you in his life, and he wants everyone to know about it. Even though the members might get tired of hearing about you, they would still be happy for Minhyuk. They would know that he's found someone special, and they would be supportive of his relationship with you.
Your relationship with Minhyuk is always exciting and never dull. You always have something to look forward to, whether it's a new date night, a weekend getaway, or just spending time together at home. Minhyuk always knows how to make you laugh, and he always makes you feel loved and appreciated. You feel like the luckiest person in the world to have Minhyuk in your life. He is everything you could ever want in a partner. He is kind, funny, supportive, and loving. He always puts your needs first, and he always makes you feel special. Minhyuk tells you that he loves you more and more every day. He says that you are the most amazing person he has ever met, and that he can't imagine his life without you. You believe him, because you feel the same way about him.

The Wolf and his Coyote - Part 4
Part 4! Things are starting to look up!
Summary; Jungkook is the leader of the biggest biker gang in Korea. He is never interested in people unless they can benefit him in some way. That is until he runs into a girl who is the only person who appears to not be afraid of him. New to Korea, Amalia is an artist who spends most of her days working on her comics at her friend Minhyuks diner who also happens to be Jungkooks favourite hang out spot. What will happen when Jungkooks, a man who's heart seems to be frozen in ice, interest is peeked for the first time since he can remember?
Part 1 - Part 2 - Part 3 - Part 4
Pairing: Gang leader jk x Tsundere, artist Amalia
Rating: 18+ do not interact if you are a minor!
Word count: 2.3k
Genre: Biker gang bts, action, romance, there will be smut down the line, angst, violence, humour.
Warnings: potential triggers, signs of trauma, Jungkook is SMITTEN, mentions of past, motorcycle ride, voice raising, arguing.
Amalias pov:
The roaring sound of engines cut through my thoughts, effectively snapping me out of my hyper fixated state. I look out the window to my right and notice 6 guys on motorcycles pull up. As they take off their helmets one by one, I notice it’s the guys from yesterday. Jungkooks gang. I guess this is the end of my peaceful day.
Well, it had been very peaceful apart from the moment he decided to come talk to me. I still don’t know what he wants with me. I wish he would just stay away. At least he’s not too pushy. Like him.
I shake my head, not letting those thoughts creep up on me. You’re safe Amalia. It’s all in the past now.
The doors to the diner fly open as one by one those guys start piling in. Starting with one handsome man, black, long hair, cat like eyes, resting bitch face. He looks around the restaurant for his “owner” I assume. His eyes land on me as I look at him and he snickers before walking towards the other side of the restaurant as he spots Jungkook.
What was that? Anyways, it’s time for me to go. I start packing my tablet and research materials back into my bag. I finish my cup of tea that Min had brought me earlier and get up to let him know I’m leaving.
The restaurant is pretty busy for dinner time so I just manage a wave as I step out and head towards my bus stop. The bus arrives not too long after that and I start my commute home.
The route is pretty long. I start with one bus, then a train and another bus. It’s better than sitting at home by myself all day tho, so it’s worth it. I read a book with my headphones on as per usual. About 20 minutes later, I arrive at the train station. As I wait for my train, I hear an announcement being made so I move my headphones to the side to listen.
“Train towards blue lines are all cancelled for the day due to technical issues, sorry for the inconvenience.”
Oh, well hell. I start to think of other ways to get home. A taxi would cost way too much from here for my broke butt. It’s too far to walk as well. I wonder if there’s other buses that lead close enough.
I start to walk towards the street, where all the buses are and scan the signs to see where they went. Ah, there is a bus that leads close to the other bus I have to take, however it only comes every hour. I look at the time and, of course, the last one left 6 minutes ago. I guess I’ll be waiting here for a while.
I sit at the stop by the street and take my book out again, getting ready for this long hour.
Jungkooks pov:
“I’ll see you tomorrow.” I wave at my group before heading off on my bike.
The breeze hits my body as I zigzag through the streets of Seoul. As I drive, there only one thing going through my mind. “She hates your type”. My type. What is my type? According to Minhyuk I have become self absorbed. It shows that he doesn’t know me like he used to. Although the boy he knew is now dead and gone, I still don’t really know the man I have become. All I know is the hatred I feel towards him.
I shake my head, attempting to shake off these negative thoughts and feelings, heading towards my usual patrol.
As I pass by the train station, I notice something that makes me instantly turn my bike around. Is that..?
I make my way back to the bus stop where a girl is resting her head on the side of the bus stop, sat on the bench with a book in her lap. As I approach her, I notice that it is indeed her. The girl from the diner. Minhyuks friend.
I park my bike in front of the stop, there being barely any cars that pass at this time, and walk up to her sleeping form. I look at her for a minute and she doesn’t even flinch. I kneel down in front of her and look over her features. Long lashes, small but plump lips and a beauty mark right below her left eye.
She really is nothing special.
Then, her eyes suddenly shoot open, dropping the book in her hand and letting out a scream.
“Hey hey, it’s just me.” I say, still on one knee before her.
I take my helmet off so she can see me more clearly.
She looks down at me and then at her surroundings as if analyzing the situation.
“Wha- what time is it? Why is it dark? Why are you here?” She says as she pulls out her phone and checks the time.
“Oh no! I missed the last bus!” She gets up frantically looking around.
I take my time standing and take a guess as to what had happened.
“Well considering you left the diner quite a while ago, I’m guessing you fell asleep here waiting for your bus until now, did you not? As for why I’m here, I was just driving by when I noticed you and just had to come say hello.” I say with a smile.
“Way to state the obvious.” She says as she rolls her eyes and sits back down.
She appears to be thinking, and as she said she missed her last bus, I guess she doesn’t have a way home.
I roll my eyes right back at her before heading to my bike. I feel her eyes on the back of my head. I lift the seat, pull out my spare helmet and turn back to give it to her.
“Here, I’ll take you home.” I say.
“Why would I trust a stranger with my address?” She says crossing her arms and legs and looking down.
“Oh so you don’t trust me with your address but you trust everyone else enough to fall asleep at a public bus stop?” I say, raising my voice.
I could see her visibly flinch as I did.
“Who are you to tell me what I can and can’t do? You don’t even know me!” She says, visibly upset.
I sigh and take a deep breath. Arguing with her will get us nowhere.
“Look, I’m sorry I raised my voice. I know you’re new to town, but this area is very unsafe. Especially for woman. So when I saw you sleeping here without a care in the world for your safety I..” I cut myself off.
“You what?” She asks, turning to look at me in the eyes for the first time.
“I know you probably won’t believe me considering what Minhyuk has probably said about me, but I’m not a bad guy. I care about him a lot and you’re his friend. So no harm will come to you around me, ok?” I say truthfully, avoiding what I was going to say before.
She continues to sit there and stares at me. I see the gears shifting behind her scared eyes that she tried to pass off as anger.
“Fine then, you can stay here.” I say as I turn to place the helmet back in my bike.
Then I feel a tug at my back. It takes me a moment, but I turn to see her looking at the floor with her hand grasping the hem of my leather jacket.
“I’m sorry. I just.. I..” She stuttered. I could tell she was trying to say something very difficult for her.
“Its ok, you don’t have to tell me.” I said gently.
She nods and I turn to hand her the helmet. She takes it and puts it on like she already knows how.
“Have you ever been on a bike before?” I ask.
“I have. I can drive one too.” She says matter of factly.
My eyes grow wide as I stare at her in shock.
“What? Is it that shocking? Is it because I’m a woman?” She says crossing her arms and staring me down.
“No, I just… I didn’t expect it.” I say while sheepishly rubbing the back of my neck. I quickly put on my helmet. Why does my face feel warm?
I get on my bike and look towards her. She still seems unsure, looking down and fidgeting with her hands.
“Common, I don’t bite.” I say, reaching my hand out towards her.
She looks at my hand for a few seconds before reaching out and taking it in hers.
My heart skips when our skin touches. What was that? Get a hold of yourself Jungkook.
She then comes closer and throws her leg over, taking a seat behind me. I feel her trying to push back and turn my head to see her grab a hold of the bars on the back.
I sigh in frustration.
“Just hold onto me please? It’s much safer that way.” I say revving my engine.
“Are you sure?” She says shyly.
This girl goes from shy to attitude to shy in an instant huh?
I smile, “Yes I’m sure.” I reach back and wrap her hands around my waist.
With her front pressed against my back, I head off in the direction of her home.
As we drive through the streets, I feel her looking around as if my hometown is all new to her. I hear her little gasps as we come into view of beautiful sceneries. I could feel her loosen and tighten her grip on me as we turn and speed up and slow down. It’s funny, I usually don’t like people riding behind me but I don’t mind it with her. She’s not purposely trying to grab a feel as she holds onto me, like the other girls I’ve taken for rides passing it off as just holding on for safety, no she’s different. She keeps her hands tied together across my stomach and doesn’t move them an inch.
We approach her street and I come to a full stop. Strangely, I feel slightly upset at having arrived already. She gets off first and then I do the same, kicking the stand up to park. I turn to see she has already taken off her helmet and has the widest smile on her face.
Woah. What a beautiful smile..
What was I just thinking? Snap out of it! Luckily, my helmet was still on.
Her hair blows in the breeze as she looks at me.
“Thank you for the ride home. It’s been a while since I’ve been on a motorcycle, I forgot how great it feels. Oh and I’m sorry I was so rude.” She says while fiddling with her fingers.
I take my helmet off and give her a smile.
“Don’t worry about it. It’s good that you don’t easily trust people. That intuition will keep you safe around these parts.” I say genuinely.
All of a sudden her eyebrows furrow as if she just thought of something.
“Wait.. I never gave you my address. How did you know where I live?” She says while taking a step back.
Oh right. She still doesn’t know I was there that night.
“Yeah about that, I mean, I didn’t want to just say I know where you live. Probably would have sounded creepy at the time.”
“Well it’s sure creepy now, so can you answer my question?” She says with her hands on her hips.
I guess the attitude is back.
I laugh at her ever changing personality, which for some reason, I find adorable.
“The truth is, these are the streets I usually patrol at this time a night. I don’t know what Minhyuk has told you, but my gang is not like the usual gang. We like to watch over our city and keep the innocents safe.” She just stands there looking at me as if urging me to continue. So I do.
“One night, I was patrolling as I usually do, when I crossed by this alley and saw a man following a girl. I was about to step in when suddenly, this girl turned and smacked the guy in the balls with her bag.” I laugh at that last part, still finding it funny.
I see her eyes light up in recognition.
“Oh! You were there that night? I did find it odd that he didn’t try to follow me.” She pondered with her hand on her chin.
“Yeah, don’t worry, he won’t be following you again.” I smirk.
She stares me down.
“What?” I ask.
“You didn’t kill him, did you?” She says.
I look at her, my eyes then turning serious.
“I don’t kill people. Not unless I have to. It’s not my place to take lives.” I say stuffing my hands in my pockets.
Although the question stings, I do understand why she would ask. I am the head of a gang after all. It’s true that I don’t like to kill people, but it would be a lie to say I never have.
“Ok well, thanks again for the ride.’ She pauses,’ and for protecting me that night I guess.” She says, looking up at me.
She hands over the helmet.
“You’re welcome.” I look down at her smiling softly.
“Have a good night.” She simply says as she starts walking down the alley towards her home.
“Hey!” I say before she reaches her door.
She turns and looks at me with a questioning raised eyebrow.
“What’s your name?” I ask.
She looks at me for a moment before answering.
“It’s Amalia, but you can call me Lia. Consider that an honour.” With that, she turns and heads inside.
I can't help but laugh at her last comment.
Amalia.. that’s a different name. I like the sound of it.
I start walking down the street, beginning my patrol. Unable to wipe this stupid smile off my face.

The Bangtan Gal Chapter 68- Under The Mistletoe
Chapter Summary: BTS attend the MAMA Awards. Jimin and Taehyung aim to get Jennie and Jungkook to kiss under the mistletoe
Words: 8,000+
-----
In Hong Kong, BTS prepared for their performance during the dress rehearsal. They were to collaborate with GOT7, which Jen was thrilled about.
"Hey, Bam Bam, look it's your future girlfriend." Mark teased as they saw Jennie stretching from afar.
"Shush!" Bam Bam playfully shoved him away.
"And you're drooling~," Jackson exclaimed.
After she finished stretching, she spotted the members of GOT7 and waved. Just before Bam Bam was about to approach her, he stopped when he saw Jungkook.
"Babygirl."
"Yes?" she turned around, greeted by Jungkook.
"Hobi Hyung wants to go over the choreography with you to make sure you got it. You know that one part."
"All right."
After the dress rehearsal, Jennie had slipped through Bam Bam's eyes as he wanted to take time to talk to her, but like she always does, she wandered around backstage. She saw Monsta X and approached them with a smile.
"Finally get to meet you guys properly. Hi!" she bowed.
"Jennie Walker! Miss BTS! It's nice to finally meet you properly, too! I'm Jooheon. This is I.M, Hyungwon, Kihyun, Minhyuk, Wonho and Shownu."
"I'm trying not to fangirl but oh my gosh, you guys are friggin badass. I am so looking forward to your performance at the show. I can see you guys making it big, I can just feel it. And I'm proud to announce that I am a monbebe~!"
The members seemed pleased to hear that as they welcomed her with open arms.
"What's your favorite song?" Minhyuk asked.
"Gone Bad is my favorite!"
"Oh really? Can you sing it?" Shownu asked
Jen nodded and sang out Kihyun's part, "Geurae hal mankeum haebwa oneul haruneun. Eodikkaji galji hanbeon nareul jigyeobollae."
"Wow~. I love it." Kihyun applauded.
"Continue." Jooheon challenged
"Okay." she accepted and started feeling herself while rapping to Jooheon, "E eee eee, neon hukhago gayo. E eee eee, neon hukhago gayo."
Jooheon immediately smiled and nodded his head as he rapped with her, "E eee eee, neon hukhago gayo. E eee eee, neon hukhago gayo tto hanbange KO."
She went on while Hyungwon joined in for his verse, "Ppittureojillae. Ppittureojillae ho. Ppittureojillae. Monsta X yeah we rock the show. Ppittureojillae. Ppittureojillae ho. Ppittureojillae. Monsta X yeah we rock the show!"
"We might need to let her be the 8th member of Monsta X, now." Kihyun laughed.
"Ha! I don't think Bangtan will take too kindly to that." she giggled.
"I'm sure we can work something out." Wonho smiled, causing her face to warm up
'Lord Jesus, I was born the wrong year. He's smiling like that on purpose.' she thought.
Wonho was one fine looking guy. Everyone here was.
"So, we heard that Wonho is your bias." Minhyuk teased. "So, who is your bias wrecker? Me, right?"
"No way, it's me," Shownu added.
The members began joking around and trying to impress her with funny poses, making her laugh.
"She doesn't have a bias wrecker because her heart belongs to me, right Jennie?" Wonho wrapped an arm around her and got closer to her face.
"Oh mah God~." she started feeling shy at how close she was to him and covered her face as he chuckled. Once she pulled herself together, she joked, "I know I'm too young for you, but I fit your ideal type because I can make some bombass ramen."
After goofing around, she asked, "Are you fellas nervous for your first MAMA Awards?"
"Very. It's a big moment for us. Do you have any advice?" Shownu asked.
"Honestly I was freaking out during my first MAMA. It's such a big deal, y'know? Huge event. But just have fun with it. You're performing in front of thousands of people and various idols from different companies. Show them who Monsta X is and show them that you guys are here to stay and take over. You're going to do great. I'll be cheering you on."
"Thank you, we'll take that to heart." they bowed.
"I remember your performance from last year's MAMA. You performed with Block B's Taeil. You were really good up there. Great charisma." I.M spoke in English, causing Jen to smile and speak in her Native language
"Aw, really? Thank you. It's still one of my favorite performances I had on stage. You're fluent in English, right?"
"Yes, I am."
"I'm giving you a warning now since we're going to be great friends, you're stuck with me and we'll be having a lot of English conversations together."
I.M chuckled. "I'll mentally prepare. Can we take a picture for Twitter?"
"Yeah!"
Getting in the middle, Jennie posed gleefully as they considered her their new Monbebe. I.M posted the photo on Monsta X's Twitter, 'With Miss BTS herself! She's our new Monbebe! Thank you for supporting us!'
Wandering around again, Jen saw The8.
"Jennie!" he happily waved
"Hey! It's been a while!" she rushed up and pulled him for a hug, surprising him as he shyly hugged her back.
After they pulled away he smiled softly. "You look well!"
"I'm surviving. You look great, excited for Mama?"
"A little nervous but Seventeen is working very hard."
"I saw a snippet of your performance. You guys are great! Mansae is one of my favorite songs."
"Look forward to us performing."
"Trust me, I will."
Once the show began, BTS and GOT7 performed their collab dance. Afterward, GOT7 performed If You Do and soon after, BTS came out to perform Run. Jen wore leather pants and a white leather jacket with the words, 'Love Yourself' and wore that same white butterfly necklace in their starting position. She stood back to back with Jimin.
Run...Run...Run...
Starting off with V walking to the members, they shift. Rapmon starts off and they perform.
dasi Run Run Run nan meomchul suga eobseo
tto Run Run Run nan eojjeol suga eobseo
eochapi igeotbakke nan mothae
neoreul saranghaneun geot bakken mothae
Transitioning to the middle, Jen sang while her hair bounced every time she ran, "Dasi Run Run Run, neomeojyeodo gwaenchanha, tto Run Run Run jom dachyeodo gwaenchanha."
The camera panned to some idols who were watching the performance and it showed some IKON members smiling and lip syncing when Jen sang. One of them covered his mouth to tell one of his hyungs that she looked pretty but some fansites that were filming them caught them and thought it was cute.
(Run)
Jen and Rapmon face each other.
Don't tell me bye bye!
(Run)
"You make me cry, cry!" she patted her hand over her heart
(Run)
"Love is a lie, lie!" they say in unison. "Don't tell me, don't tell me, don't tell me bye bye!" they push each other away
Once the chorus came again, Jen sang first this time as they danced.
chueokdeuri mareun kkonipcheoreom
sansani buseojyeoga
nae son kkeuteseo nae bal miteseo
dallyeoganeun ne deung dwiro
machi nabireul jjotdeut kkum sogeul hemaedeut
neoui heunjeogeul ttaraga
The fan chants could be heard as they noticed various ARMY bombs in the crowd. Jen was having a blast on the stage and before she knew it, the song was about to end.
(Run)
Don't tell me bye bye
(Run)
"You make me cry, cry!"
(Run)
"Love is a lie, lie!"
Don't tell me, don't tell me
Don't tell me bye bye
Later on, the members watched the rest of the show. Jen had stared at Ailee in admiration when she had won best female vocal performance. She was just so beautiful and ARMY was eager to see her reaction to Ailee winning while the members teased her about it. Jen was the first to stand up and applaud when she won as well, with a proud smile on her face.
Jennie also was so proud of Hyuna when she won best dance solo performance. Her life was slayed watching Jessi and Hyuna perform. She enjoyed seeing women take the stage. Hopefully one day she will be able to do that. She saw it as inspiration that she could get there, too.
BTS had won the World Performer award, which was a proud moment for them. Jen hoped that they'd be able to win even more awards as they continued what they were doing. Ever since the Melon Awards, Jen's reactions and dancing to performances have become iconic for those that have fancams of her because they were so amusing to watch and tonight was no exception.
When CL had performed, Jen was mesmerized. The charisma, how the crowd can get behind her instantly, she hoped to be like that one day. Being able to move a crowd like that by herself. She was so hyped that the camera kept filming her while fans said, 'Same, Jennie, same'
Just like everyone else, no one expected 2NE1 to pop up as Jen freaked out, holding onto poor Jin.
"HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!"
Her reaction was bound to go viral as she also wiped a few tears when they performed Fire and I Am The Best.
And of course, once EXO had performed, she had to jam to them. She lipsynced all of Baekhyun's lines as her fansites filmed everything.
"Eodun miro soge gacheotteon. Whoa na Oh, geu eodum sogeseo, nal kkaeweo jun ni moksori deullyeowa, nal dashi taeeonage hae~" she sang out, jamming around.
The members slowly turned to her and were amused. She truly loved Baehkyun. When the lights went out and Chanyeol began rapping fast, Jen got even more hyped as EXO performed a lightsaber dance break. Then, with Drop That, it became a huge party as she danced with Taehyung and Hobi who were near Suho and Chen.
Jump jump jump jump jump jump E.X.O
Jump jump jump jump we are E.X.O
While watching Baekhyun perform, she soon saw him walking towards where she and the rest of the idols were. Her butterflies came back and all those thoughts about keeping her composure were out the window.
She soon noticed him looking her way and began to walk over to her.
'He's coming over here!?' she thought, widening her eyes.
He extended out his hand and she immediately took it, getting pulled forward and they started jumping and dancing together.
"Ah, she is so freaking out right now!" Namjoon laughed.
"I know. I'm surprised she didn't faint." Jin giggled.
Chen and Suho did the same with GOT7 and the rest of Bangtan nearby.
This was a moment that she'll cherish for the rest of her life and the members knew how much this meant to her. Baekhyun smiled at her and made his way back to the stage to regroup with the members. She couldn't wipe that huge smile off her face. It was nothing like being able to get hyped with one of your favorite idols like this.
Chen had blown her away with his high note and she had to lean back and place a hand over her heart.
'MY GOD! How did he do that!?' she thought
And once they performed Love Me Right, Jennie was no more good as she swayed around while standing and clapping along. Her ears were almost ringing from the screams of fans for Big Bang. Their stages were always unique. All of YG artists were. The way they were so composed and had strong charisma. She hoped to get there one day. To that point as a performer.
During the dress rehearsal, she had told G-Dragon that she hoped that BTS could have a longer stage at MAMA, and he told her that they'd get there one day. So she'll continue to work hard and remain patient for their time to shine.
When the camera panned to Jennie with Taehyung bopping to the song, she looked directly at it and smiled, pointing, "Bang, bang, bang! Bang, bang, bang!"
Spotting Kiyhun and the rest of Monsta X, Jen and Taehyung began to dance with them too. During PSY's Daddy performance, fansites filmed her laughing and asking Hobi and Taehyung how the dance goes, following their moves.
During Gangnam Style the camera caught her again, turning up and dancing around without a care in the world despite everyone watching her. She was dancing similar to how Taeyang was during Gangnam Style a few years ago. The members couldn't help but party with her. Jen feeling herself was such a mood and it made awards shows more enjoyable to watch because of her reactions.
Bam Bam had soon danced his way over to Jennie, tapping her over the shoulder. Once she turned, she danced with him as BamJen shippers were delighted. Jimin was not happy when watching them dance. He felt like his ship was getting ruined and didn't like how close he was to her.
Jungkook glanced up and saw them dancing, feeling some type of way as jealously crept up on him.
"Are you going to sit there or are you going to do something?" Taehyung asked in his ear over the loud music.
Jungkook soon thought about their conversation after the concert,
'Let everyone know that the person you want will be yours and no one is going to change that or interfere with your mission.'
Some idols were glancing at Jungkook, wondering what he was going to do. The gossip about Jungkook's feelings for his bandmate was going around fast. And it was also a known fact that Bam Bam had liked her for quite some time and was very vocal about it. The only thing stopping him right now was the dating ban.
Jungkook stood up and glanced at the 95 Liners who followed him. Dancing to the song, the three of them moved to where Jen was dancing. Jimin and Taehyung watched eagerly as Jungkook gently pulled her away from Bam Bam
"I'll take it from here," the Golden Maknae spoke.
Bam Bam and some members of GOT7 were disappointed that his moment was interrupted. But Jimin and Taehyung had low fived each other as they watched JenKook have a friendly and goofy dance battle, with Bangtan hyping them up. It certainly caught the camera's attention and made JenKook shippers happy.
Watching everyone perform tonight motivated Jen to do better and she had hoped that at next year's MAMA Awards, she would be able to blow everyone away with her charisma with Bangtan. Sometimes she felt like she wasn't doing enough. What can she do to stand out and get people talking about how much she has improved on stage? She will be practicing and working even harder to give a better performance for fans.
After the show, Jungkook went directly to Bam Bam. He wanted to have a long talk about everything.
"Can I speak with you, Bam Bam?" Jungkook asked.
Once Bam Bam agreed, they walked to a private area. "So, what's up, Jungkook?"
"It's about Jennie."
--------
"Thank you!" Jen pulled the table right inside her hotel room.
She was so hungry after the show, she had to order room service. She felt like she deserved a big meal after the pleasant time she had at the MAMA Awards.
Her face during 2NE1's reunion performance was sure to become a new meme as she already saw her face plastered all over Tumblr and Twitter. ARMY did not waste any time to capture her reaction. After eating, she prepared to shower, shutting the bathroom door behind her. Finally, she was able to shower. The whole night exhausted her. It was overall fun but with a big award show like this, it took a toll on her body. But nothing like a hot shower to ease her muscles. Connecting her phone to a portable speaker, she put her music on shuffle and walked into the shower.
Meanwhile, back in the room, a sasaeng had crawled out from under the room service table after hearing the shower turn on. They began to place hidden cameras all over the room and called their buddy who was also around the hotel.
"I'm in Jennie's room~! Our plan worked! I finally got in. The video is clear, right? Good." the sasaeng giggled and found her suitcase.
Opening it, they started to examine her personal belongings. They began to take some of her underwear and even took photos of her bra size. After having too much fun with her belongings, the suitcase fell to the floor and made a loud noise.
With Jennie, her stomach dropped, and she stopped everything that she was doing as soon. Hobi was not in the room yet because he was with friends so he couldn't be back yet.
Something was not right and someone was here.
What is she going to do?
Another sasaeng had walked into the room and it so happened to be someone who worked at the hotel. The same woman who had given Jennie her food. She eagerly helped the other person put Jen's stolen items under the table, including her friendship ring.
"We'll meet with the others later. Double check the cameras, and get out of here," she advised and left the room with the table.
Getting out of the shower while leaving it on, she put on a towel and disconnected her phone from the speaker to give Seijin a quick call to frantically tell him that there was someone in her room. After he told her that he was on his way with the others and security, she decided to stay in the bathroom, feeling anxious.
"Jennie~, I know you know I'm here! Come out so we can meet! I'm a huge fan~!" the sasaeng said in a teasing voice.
This was so scary. Never in her life had she ever been in this type of situation. She became anxious when she heard the doorknob rattle as the sasaeng tried to get in. She didn't know if the sasaeng had intentions of hurting her or had some sort of weapon.
After hearing various sasaeng stories, she never thought she would be one to deal with someone breaking in. She hated this feeling. The feeling of being helpless and paralyzed with fear.
"Open up!" the sasaeng yelled, making her flinch and shed a few tears.
The sasaeng didn't want to leave like they were supposed to. They wanted to get noticed by their bias.
Looking around, Jennie grabbed the nearest weapon, a toilet plunger, just in case they attacked her. It wasn't much but it was something. She let out a shriek when the sasaeng began to kick at the door. After a while, they managed to break in and as soon as that door swung open, Jen couldn't even use the weapon.
"Get away from me!" Jen shouted when she was grabbed by the arm.
The sasaeng had a tight grip, digging their nails into her skin, with that sick smile on their face. Seijin and various security guards rushed into the room, to go straight after the sasaeng while Jen screamed.
"No! No! I love her! Let me go! Let me go!" the sasaeng began struggling and managed to get detained while Seijin made sure Jen was all right.
Jennie watched with distress as the sasaeng continued to go crazy. When they were taken away, she, still shaken up, explained what happened while in tears, holding on to Seijin. After he made a few calls, it was certain that Big Hit would be taking serious legal action over this, immediately.
If Jen didn't have her phone with her in the bathroom, who knows what could've happened? Her blood went cold as she still felt that death grip on her arm. She then looked at her suitcase which was open with her items scattered.
Anger soon overcame her, "And they had the audacity to touch my shit?!"
She ran her hands through her wet hair, fearing for the worst of what might have been taken. When she got dressed in her pajamas, there was an investigation of how the sasaeng broke in. Clearly, the sasaeng had some connections in this hotel and someone or more people helped them sneak in.
When the members found out what had happened, they immediately rushed to her room, Namjoon being the first, running in to hug her.
"Are you hurt!?" he demanded with worry.
Jen was not happy. She was mainly angry at herself for being in that type of situation and getting so scared. She was considering taking self defense classes or something to defend herself if God forbid no one was there to save her. The members stayed with her while Seijin filled them in on everything. Yoongi, Namjoon, Jungkook, and Jimin especially struggled to keep their cool, while everyone was concerned for her safety.
Just to see how easily the sasaeng came in from a room service table was not good and they will be increasing security and doing more hotel room checks from now on.
"And we found hidden cameras." Seijin pointed out.
"You're the one with the good news, today, huh?" Jen asked sarcastically, shaking her head. "Man...hidden cameras? Unbelievable...well, I clearly made it because I now have people breaking into my hotel room."
This was sick. What if they filmed her when she was undressed?
Later that evening, Jungkook came back to her room while Hobi was showering. He was still shaken up by what had happened with Jennie. Everyone was. He had wished that he could've protected her.
Noticing something bothering her and decided to ask, "What's on your mind?"
"I'm so sorry..." she murmured, shaking her head as tears appeared in her eyes
"For what?" he asked in alarm.
"I'm so sorry, Kook..."
"Wh-what's wrong?"
"I lost the ring..." she mumbled.
"What?"
"I lost the ring, Jungkook. I-I thought they took it but it wasn't found on them. I dunno where it can be. It's not in the room, the sasaeng doesn't have it. It's gone. Th-they searched everywhere."
His eyes softened as he held her close. "It's okay."
"That friendship ring meant everything to me. Now it's gone."
"It's okay."
"How can you say that so easily?" she looked up.
"Because what we have isn't just a ring. Your safety is worth more than a ring," he responded firmly. "You or a simple ring, I'd choose you in a heartbeat. I'm just glad you're safe. That's all that matters."
There were numerous reports of Jennie being the next unfortunate victim of dealing with a sasaeng as fans had voiced their concern and hoped that she would be okay. It was going to be a while until she got over this but being with the members helped ease the tension.
-------
As a pre-birthday surprise, the members and MPD decided to prank Jin. First was a mission which was to make an acrostic poem with Hong Kong. When Jin was declared the winner, he was shocked.
"Why me?" Jin asked, flustered.
Since he was the winner, he went out with MPD while the production crew gave the members instructions. They were to have the lights off and the members not in the room but only a woman lying in the bed as they hoped that Jin would fall for the plan.
"Yo, V cannot keep a secret. He kept mentioning Jin's birthday." Jen said on camera while they hid in the bathroom.
"He mentioned it twice!" Rapmon added
'Trust me, I know.' Jungkook thought about the various times V almost blurted out his feelings for Jennie.
Thankfully Jimin kept him in check. After a while, Jin came back and entered the room with MPD, only to jump when the girl screamed from the bed. Jin instantly jumped and began shaking.
"What, what, what is going on!?" he exclaimed.
"Happy birthday to you~!" the members walked out with a cake while laughing. Jin continued to stand there, stunned while Jimin held onto him. "Happy birthday to our beloved Jin Hyung! Happy birthday to you!"
"I was so startled!" Jin exclaimed after blowing out the candles. "I was like what? Who's that?"
"Did you fall for our plan?" J-Hope asked
"I did!"
When it was officially Jin's birthday, backstage during a music show, Suga and Jimin started a V-Live and walked over to Jin with a cake. Everyone had sung happy birthday to him.
"Whaaaaaa!" Suga yelled while the members butt in the camera to get in the frame.
"It's so good to be with our members on my birthday. And it's even better to be with our fans. Give me a knife to cut the cake." the birthday boy requested.
"Here you go!" J-Hope pretended that his hand was a knife, pretending to chop the cake while the other members did the same thing.
After getting an official knife, Jin began to cut it.
"It's blueberry yogurt," Jimin informed.
"Looks mighty tasty~!" Jen added.
"Who wants it?" Jin asked
"You first, Jin." J-Hope answered
As soon as he took the first bite, J-Hope said, "Yeeeahhh."
When he ate another piece, the members said, "Yeaaaah."
Another bite.
"Yuuuuuum!"
"It's good, right?" J-Hope asked
And another bite.
"Yuuuuum!"
"So good!" Jin answered with his mouth full.
"53,000 of our fans are with us," Suga announced.
"It's my birthday and I hope you'll be happy too. We'll do our best to show you the best performance today. So please enjoy it." Jin beamed
"Happy birthday! Bye!" they wave goodbye.
After the V-Live, Jen presented Jin with a Mario themed birthday box. "Happy birthday~!"
"For me? And it's Mario? Oh wow, thank you, Jennie." he happily accepted it and sat down with her to open it. "I have been looking forward to getting your birthday box. It was one of my top birthday wishes."
"Oh really? Well, I'm glad this birthday wish came true. I hope you like it."
Opening up the letter, Jin couldn't help but giggle. On the top was a small ship she drew with the pun, 'Oh ship! It's your birthday!'
To my precious Jin,
Ah, you're getting older! But as each year goes by, you get more handsome. Just ask those who call you the car door guy back at the Melon Awards. Thank you for always taking care of me over the years. You have always looked out for me. Even that time when I was embarrassed when my period came unexpectedly and you were there and washed my sheets for me and took me to the store to buy what I needed. And as much as I hated that time when you forced me to take medicine when I got sick for the first time in Korea, I'm glad you did because even though we were just getting to know each other, you were concerned about me and wanted to help me.
You have no idea how proud you make me when I see you dance. I can definitely see the improvement and I hope you can too because your hard work is paying off. You have been working diligently on everything and just know that we appreciate all that you do. I will continue to help you clean and cook for the members. I don't want you to do all the work by yourself. I'll always be there to help you out. Oh yeah, and thanks for increasing my appetite because you were the main one wanting me to eat more when I came here. I want to be a part of Eat Jin soon, so invite me to your show!
Your laugh is one of my favorite things about you. It's contagious and I will continue to tease you about it. I also love your silly dad jokes. I swear I be like the only one laughing because of how silly they are but I always appreciate them. There are times when I think about them and start laughing and then the members stare at me like I'm crazy, haha. Including you! But you're the reason for my random laughter. Happy birthday and I wish you many more happy, safe, and healthy birthdays to come.
Love,
Your precious Jennie
After he had read the letter, he wrapped his arms around her for a tight hug and began giving her kisses all over her face as she tried to escape while laughing.
As the days went by in December, BTS promoted Run on music shows. During one show, V had the opportunity to MC. The members were very eager to watch him in action. Jennie wondered when she'd have that random opportunity to MC for a music show. It seemed a bit intimidating with the script and having to do all this random stuff. But she hoped that when it was her time to do so, it would be fun and a great learning experience.
"Ah shit, I accidentally got foundation on your face." she noticed some of her makeup on the side of Tae's cheek after she kissed him for good luck.
That helped calm his nerves since he was so nervous about MCing and he began to laugh at her struggling to wipe the brown makeup off.
"Stop laughing! I'm tryna help!" she giggled
"Hehehe, thank you, I needed this laugh." He responded as a stylist came to fix his makeup.
"You are going to be just fine. Everyone gets nervous when they do stuff like this for the first time. But you're a natural on camera. You're always so silly and bring in that adorable charm that fans love. We'll be watching you backstage, cheering you on, mkay? Ennie will always support you. Don't forget that."
Taehyung gave her two big kisses on her cheeks as she laughed.
"Oh, my gosh, Tae! You got my makeup on you again!"
And for Inkigayo with Rap Monster MCing, Jen and the rest of the members watched him from backstage.
"Bruh...I dunno what he was so nervous for. If he is, it clearly does not show on camera. Look at how smooth he is. He's doing so well." Jen said for a Bangtan Bomb.
On Music Bank, the members were hoping to get their first win for Run. Some members were asked what they thought about the possibility of getting their first win.
Jen answered, "Prayer is a powerful thing, so I'm praying that we get this first win. And I have faith in ARMY. Things will be fine."
Thanks to ARMY's hard work, Bangtan got first place as the confetti came down on the stage. Fans screamed louder than ever for them as the members broke out into huge smiles, applauding as they received flowers from the MCs. It was nothing like getting a first win and it was something that they will honor every time they get it.
"Thank you ARMY! Love you!" Suga said over the mic.
Receiving the mic, Jen happily shouted, "ARMY, you rock! Thank you!"
"Thank you so much ARMY!" V spoke
"Thank you, everyone! Woo! We won first place!" Jimin waved as their song came on while the other idols left the stage.
Since Bangtan won first place, they wanted Jennie and Jungkook to perform Adult Ceremony to become an adult. So, making ARMY scream louder than they were before, the members continued to slowly bend down and do a little bit of the choreography while singing run and waving.
Rushing off stage, Rapmon happily said, "We got first place! Jungkookie and Ennie are now adults!"
"Thank you!" Suga blew a kiss
"Woo~ First win! Woo! BTS Run first win, woo!" Jennie yelled in front of the Bangtan Bomb camera, grabbing it and giving it a big kiss on the lens.
"We got first place! We got first place!" J-Hope excitedly yelled
"You've worked hard~!" Jungkook waved
"Wow~!" Jin showed off the award, looking at it in awe.
"We won an award!" Jimin said, with Taehyung having his arm around his shoulder.
Backstage, Jimin and Jennie were filmed together with J-Hope making funny faces in the background and hugging Jen from behind.
"Jennie, since you became an adult and won first place, what are your thoughts?" Jimin asked.
"First, ARMY, you did this for us, your hard work and dedication to supporting us is always appreciated. So again, thank you and we love you very much. And since I've become an adult, I can have all the smarties I want without no one telling me no, muhahahah~!" she laughed evilly.
"Muhahahah?" J-Hope questioned
"Muhahaha!" she answered back.
"Muhahahaha~!" he copied her.
"You two are very weird." Jimin laughed.
-------
BTS were on another episode of Weekly Idol, discussing their RUN comeback. For random dancing, Coni mentioned, "As a way to motivate them so they don't make any more mistakes, what about giving a kiss to each other."
"Oh, that's really strong," J-Hope responded as the members looked astonished
"Who? Who?" Suga called out
"Say what now?" Jen added
"That's good, the first person to make a mistake will give a member a kiss on the cheek," Coni said
As the members began to dance, it started simple with no mistakes. But once Boy In Luv came on, it looked like Jungkook had messed up.
"Time out, time out. Jungkook!" Heechul exclaimed as they both went to him and J-Hope.
They thought J-Hope's facial expressions were way too obvious and he acted like he didn't make a mistake.
"I was a bit confused," J-Hope admitted.
"Is it better to be kissed by Jungkook or by J-Hope?"
"Wouldn't it be better if they just kissed each other?" V suggested
"WOW!" everyone shouted.
Jennie began laughing loudly as she saw the two poor boys cringing and taking a step back.
"Say, 'Let's not be wrong from now on', then hug and once...twice...do that." Coni demonstrated, kissing Jungkook on the cheek as he cringed.
Jennie giggled at his reaction. He was just too cute. Soon Jungkook and J-Hope held hands and stood in front of each other.
"Hyung, let's...not make mistakes," Jungkook said as they went to hug each other.
"Euahhhhhhhh~!" J-Hope yelled as they reluctantly got close to each other's faces. "This is cruel!"
Once J-Hope had yelled and kissed his cheek, everyone had to push Jungkook's head near J-Hope's cheek to kiss him. The boys were so happy when the torture was over.
"Everyone, this time, instead of a kiss, do one hit on the wrist," Coni revealed the next punishment.
When they continued their next round of random dancing, this time Suga got confused when I Need U came on and sheepishly tried to explain himself. He exposed his wrist out for Jungkook to hit.
"You have to kind of like it!" Heechul explained, demonstrating getting hit and dramatically saying, "Ah!"
It seemed too inappropriate for the broadcast as the members burst out in laughter.
"No, he did not just say that!" Jen laughed.
"That's too weird!" Suga exclaimed and got hit by Jin and Rapmon afterward.
"If you get it wrong the third time, this time, the butt." Coni demonstrated.
Jennie took a step back, exclaiming, "UH! UH!"
"UH UH!" "UH UH!" They replay her shocked sound effect as everyone laughed while she protectively covered her butt with her hands.
"I will knock somebody out," she announced, getting defensive, pounding her fist once against her palm.
Taehyung had accidentally slapped her ass during the War of Hormone era in one performance at a music show. She knew fans wanted the full story of how that happened. She planned to discuss it when she went to talk to JRE in January.
Her ass was not going to get hit by anyone. Not today. Not the next day, and the next day, and the next day, and the next day, and so on. You have to earn it to touch her ass.
Jimin and Taehyung thought about Jennie messing up and trying to get Jungkook to be the one to give her the punishment, giggling to themselves.
As they danced again, War of Hormone came on and it popped up to Jen's verse.
Of course, it did...
Strutting to the front she danced powerfully.
...but I ain't you baby, you gotta earn that.
Hello! Hello! Hello! Hello!
I'll tell you what I want right now!
Hello! Hello! Hello! Hello!
I ain't giving it to you right now!
She successfully got the moves right as the chorus continued. She was not letting anyone touch her booty. They can look but they can't touch. If anything, you gotta be her significant other first.
Once Boy in Luv came on, Jimin was finally caught.
"We'll do the last punishment and after that, especially for you, we'll add another on top of that," Coni said. "The two MCs will hug Jimin and-"
"No," Jimin begged. "You don't have to do things like that." he fell to his knees and laughed
"A hug and a kiss," Heechul said while the members laughed and applauded.
Jennie, Suga, J-Hope, Taehyung and Jungkook gave Jimin pats on his butt and then he was hugged from behind by Heechul. When Jimin received kisses on the cheek, the members yelled, continuing to cringe.
During the next segment, BTS received phone calls from various fans who were very excited. The phone lines were down due to the high demand for Bangtan, which bewildered the members. One fan had spoken in English, talking to Jennie and she was moved that the fan was learning English to communicate with her. Jen made the fan feel good when she praised their English skills.
"So, what is this about Jin and Jennie wrestling?" Coni asked
Jin and Jen glanced at each other and laughed while the members thought about the hilarious memories.
"That was a fun day." Jen happily nodded.
"That match didn't count because she cheated. I was supposed to win." Jin exclaimed
"You tapped out. It doesn't get much clearer than that, Jin."
"AHHHHHHH~!" the members said with their loud laughter filling the studio.
They had played the clip of Jennie putting Jin in an armbar and him tapping out while Jin became flustered. His ears got red as he tried to explain himself.
"Will there be a continuation?" Heechul asked. "Round two?"
"I mean, we could. You down?" Jen turned to Jin.
"I still need to win so of course." Jin nodded eagerly.
"I dunno about all that but anyway." she teased as Jin blankly stared at her. "I guess when we have some free time, we'll think of some funny promos and work on what we want to do for Jin vs Jen Part 2. Stay tuned."
As the show went on, with Rapmon struggling to cut an onion, they had their idol on the grill segment. The male members would be called Bulletproof Girl Scouts while Jennie would be called the Bulletproof Boy Scout. They recapped the female idols the boys wanted to get closest to and how Jennie was very interested in EXO. So the plan was to dance to an idol song and they'll be given Korean Beef.
"Jennie! Which EXO song would you like to perform?" she was asked.
"Call me baby~," she answered and stood up.
"Of course." Jimin giggled.
"Yes, we are fully aware that you love this group a lot. Especially Baekhyun." Coni teased.
"I hope that one day I could have the opportunity to collab with an EXO member." she brought up. "That would be so cool. I learn a lot from groups such as them when I watch them perform. It motivates me to work harder. Collabing with a group like EXO, I'm sure I can learn a lot from them. Even if it's just one member, a simple dance collab, or singing together, I'd be grateful."
"EXO if you are watching, what is your answer?" Coni asked.
As the song came on, it started with the chorus after Chanyeol's verse. It looked like she would have to do some eye-opening pelvic thrusts. She even had her hand on her crotch and thrust her hips up. It surprised the members along with her fluent body rolls and movement with the song. The MCs were impressed with her powerful movements and praised her. When Jen watched the rest of the members dance, she immediately covered her mouth when Rapmon danced to EXID's Up & Down.
When it was Jungkook's turn, he mentioned that he wasn't familiar with any IU songs and decided to dance Up & Down instead. Sure enough, being the extra Golden Maknae that he is, the MCs hyped him up while the members laughed. Jennie dropped her jaw when he started to thrust up and down.
"Whoa! Yeah! Whoa! Yeah!" the MCs yelled as he displayed a different personality once again.
'Did you hear what Jennie said on Weekly Idol!?' fans asked under Baekhyun's Instagram.
What got everyone talking was that Baekhyun had only responded with a smiley emoji, causing everyone to flip out at the possibility.
Will SM Entertainment allow a member from EXO to collaborate with Jennie one day?
And will Big Hit allow Jennie to collaborate with a member from EXO one day?
These were questions on everyone's minds and it had been anticipated ever since she released that cover. It looked like they would have to stay tuned to find out.
---------
When Christmas Eve came, Jennie and Jungkook spent the day playing video games in Jungkook's room.
"Jennie, later I want you to help me bake," Jin called out, walking past the room.
"I got you, just let me know!" she answered.
Jin examined the living room of the dorm with a smile. Christmas music was playing softly in the background and the tree was decorated. After a fierce game of rock, paper, scissors, Jin was the one to put the star on the tree.
"And what are you two doing, now?" he asked when Jimin and Taehyung were wandering around the dorm.
"Put one right here...right here...right there...and there..." Jimin placed mistletoes all around the dorm with Taehyung, in hopes to finally get JenKook to kiss.
The 95 Liners wanted this done ASAP.
This needed to happen TODAY.
"Why are you putting so many mistletoes up?" Jin asked
"Shhh, not so loud, you want them to notice?" Jimin shushed him.
"Jennie and Jungkook? Oh my gosh, Jimin, Taehyung, this is not going to work."
"Yeah. You two should give it up. You're doing too much..." Yoongi mumbled from the couch, lying down.
"I don't think that is going to work. Just let it go naturally, all right?" Namjoon added
"Oh come on! This will be a great opportunity!" Taehyung whined.
"I dunno what we are going to do with them." Jin sighed and went to the kitchen.
Later that day, Jen helped Jin with baking tons of cookies and placed the last remaining gifts under the tree. Jungkook joined in to make sure things were in order.
Meanwhile, Jimin and Taehyung watched JenKook's every move, hoping that they would get under one of the many mistletoes they put around the dorm. They waited all day and still had no success in getting them under the mistletoe. It began to frustrate the 95 Liners.
It wasn't until later that evening they finally yelled, "Look who is under the mistletoe~!" when Jennie was right in front of Jungkook who was by the door in the bathroom and they looked up to see a mistletoe on top of the door.
"Oh. Oh wow." Jen chuckled softly.
Jungkook looked shooked once he saw it. He was not prepared as his hyungs were looking on in anticipation and cheering. The pressure was starting to get to him and he began to feel overwhelmed.
"I mean, you wanna...?" Jen's voice brought him back to reality as she was waiting for him to tell her what he wanted to do.
"U-uh, sorry." he quickly rushed away, flustered, going to his room.
That did not sit well with the 95 Liners.
"JEON JUNGKOOOOOOOOOOOK!" Jimin yelled in anguish, falling to his knees.
"NO!" Taehyung rushed after him with Jimin.
"ARE YOU SERIOUS?! ARE YOU SERIOUS!?"
Jennie laughed at how silly they were acting. "Guys, it's all good! Relax!" she reassured. "Anyway, I gotta pee."
She, however, did deep down feel a little disappointed that he decided not to kiss her. But brushed the feeling aside. She shouldn't take it personally. He probably didn't want to be put on the spot like that. She understood.
With Jungkook who was trying to calm himself down in his room, he was a little angry at himself for chickening out but he wanted to kiss her without anyone looking. He wanted to do stuff like that in private. Alone, with no one else around or in another room nearby. But with his hyungs all around him like this, that wasn't going to work.
If they were truly alone, he would relax and show her a real kiss like he always dreamed about.
Once it was past 12am, Christmas Day, Jen had been cleaning up the dishes in the kitchen while everyone else had settled into their room. Hearing footsteps, she glanced up to see Jungkook strolling into the kitchen to grab a bottle of water.
"Ah, so you finally came out of your room," she called out as she watched him avert his eyes and set the water down on the counter. "Am I that unkissable?" she teased.
As soon as she said that, he looked up, widening his eyes. "N-no! It's not that, i-it's just..."
"Hey, it's fine, don't worry about it. I understand. It's a lot of pressure being put on the spot like that. I'm not one for kissing in front of an audience like that, myself."
"But-"
"Kook, it's fine. Really. I get it."
"I wanted to. I wanted to kiss you."
That caught her by surprise. "Really?"
"Yeah. I wanted to. I still do," he responded and saw her smile instantly from his words.
While JenKook talked, Jimin, Taehyung, and Hobi were spying on them from afar. The three tried not to make any noise as they eagerly watched them.
"What are you two doing-"
"Shh!" they cut Jin off and brought him close to them so he wouldn't get noticed.
"Oh my gosh...if they would just look up already. I planted a mistletoe right in the kitchen." Jimin complained in a hushed voice
"I know~," Taehyung whined.
"Now, what if this doesn't work?" Jin called out
"It will work! It better work!" Jimin grabbed him by the shirt and yanked him.
"W-we can always try New Year's!"
"No! Jimin and I want this done now! Long overdue! One step closer to our wonderful ship to sail." Taehyung replied
Back with JenKook, Jennie looked at him. Something in her stomach flipped and part of her felt thrilled that he wanted to kiss her. Throughout the entire rest of the day after the first attempt, she had that feeling in the back of her mind that she wanted to kiss him. But she couldn't understand why.
Should she be feeling this way?
Jungkook soon looked up and noticed that there was a mistletoe right over him, causing butterflies in his stomach and excitement.
The boys spying on them became so giddy that their cover was almost blown when they saw them find out.
Jennie and Jungkook stood in the kitchen in a comfortable silence, glancing up at the mistletoe and back at each other.
Did she want to kiss him? Should he make a move?
Noticing him trying to figure out what to do, Jennie decided to take the lead, slowly walking forward and gently grabbing his hands. As she looked up at him, she realized how much she loved how her soft hands fit nicely with his large ones and how handsome he looked up close.
Standing on top of his feet, she raised herself up on her tippy toes until she was right at his face. The faint Christmas music was heard in the background as they spent a moment looking at each other.
"Oh my God, oh my God, it's happening..." Taehyung fanboyed with Jimin in quiet voices as they looked on.
Jungkook watched her lean in, closing her eyes and he soon did the same until their lips met, softly. He felt so many emotions as he kissed her and even faintly tasted peppermint on her lips from the candy cane she had eaten earlier.
As soon as they saw them lock lips, Jimin and Taehyung covered their mouths before they screamed for joy. The two fell to the ground, rolling around in excitement while Hobi and Jin were jumping around in glee, back in the bedroom.
Jennie felt something strong behind such a simple mistletoe kiss with her best friend as she gently pulled away, releasing his hands. She felt her heart rate increase while Jungkook felt his cheeks flushed.
"There. Not so bad, right?" she took a step back and smiled softly. "Merry Christmas, Kookie."
Watching her walk to her room to go to bed, Jungkook touched his lips and let out a soft chuckle, overjoyed. Her lips were softer than he expected. Big difference from Rookie King.
Reminiscing on the moment he shared with her, he wanted to kiss her more than just once like they just did. The kiss felt too quick for him and he made a promise that the next time they kissed on the lips, he'd show her a real kiss to prove how much she meant to him.
-----
"Merry Christmas!" Taehyung dove on top of Jennie on her bed as she let out a groan.
It was too early for this. She was just dreaming about Nike finally noticing her and allowing her to endorse their stuff.
"Merry Christmas~!" Jimin ran in to dive on top of Tae, causing her to let out another groan.
"Merry Christmas~!" Jungkook jumped on top of Jimin while Jennie continued to deal with the torture of heavy bodies on her back.
She muffled something against her pillow while the Maknae Line tried to comprehend what she was saying.
"Guys, I think we're crushing her, hehehe." Taehyung giggled as they all got off of her.
She rolled out of bed and stood up. "Ow, my back...why are y'all so damn heavy?"
"Come on, we wanna open up presents! But Jin is making us eat breakfast, first! Let's go! Get a move on!" Taehyung dragged her out of the room to meet with the rest of the members.
Saying their good mornings, they sat to eat.
As breakfast went along, Jimin mischievously asked with a smirk, "So...did anyone get caught under the mistletoe, last night?"
Jungkook instantly narrowed his eyes at him but then glanced at Jennie. She looked unfazed and not bothered by the question.
"What about you Jennie? Kiss anyone last night?" Hobi asked.
"You kissed someone last night?" Yoongi asked with sleep in his voice.
"Who'd you smooch?" Namjoon asked with interest.
"I'm just glad there wasn't any tongue." Jin blurted out
"Wow, you just exposed yourself. You were spying." Jen called out, making Jin flustered.
"Darn it Jin!" Taehyung exclaimed.
"Come on!" Jimin yelled.
"Who kissed who?" Namjoon kept asking.
"She kissed Jungkook last night!" Taehyung announced loud and proud.
Jungkook felt himself blushing and looking down. He could never get a break from his hyungs.
"Did you like the kiss?" Hobi asked with a smile.
"Sorry, but I don't kiss and tell." she smiled and placed her dishes in the sink.

The Penthouse Headcanons
Hey!! This is my first post I’ve ever done. I never thought I would actually make one here but here I am😭 anyway I’m making this because I really love this k-drama but I don’t see a lot of stuff about it in here so I’m doing some headcanons….because I can
- Most of the Hera palace kids don’t know how to cook except Rona, Jenny & Eunbyeol
I just get that vibe from them. Minhyuk and his dad rely on their mom for cooking and cleaning. The twins have their own maid who does that. Seokhoon might know basic stuff but not enough. I definitely think Jenny cooks with her mom sometimes. Ha Eunbyeol learned to try and impress Seokhoon. Rona definitely helps her mom around the kitchen
- Seokkyung can’t sleep when there’s thunder and lighting at nighttime.
This ain’t exactly a headcanon, Seokhoon confirmed that in season 1? I believe. I remember he said that to his father. I just felt like this needed to be brought to light
- Shin Suryeon’s love language is definitely quality time. You can’t tell me otherwise
- Seokkyung and Seokhoon definitely find comfort and security in each other.
I feel they both suffer from nightmares due to multiple reasons so I can imagine one of them waking up to the other texting or calling in the middle of the night about how they can’t sleep, and the other person shows up at their room a few minutes later and they just end up talking or cuddling to sleep
- Mari definitely saw Rona as her own daughter when Yoon Hee died.
She took her in and even left her husband because he didn’t want to have anything to do with Rona. That’s some motherly love right there.
- Shim Suryeon took many self defense and fighting classes
Have you SEEN the way this girl handles Joo Dantae sometimes😭the lord knows getting into a fight with her will leave on the ground with a broken nose.
- Ha Yoon Chul takes Eunbyeol to go eat out secretly behind Seojins back
Seojin only has her daughter eat certain and extremely healthy foods that are “fit for singer”. Yoon Chul just wants to make sure his daughter can enjoy all types of food and take her out so she doesn’t stay cooped up inside the penthouse.
- Kang Mari definitely likes women👌🏾
I rest my case….
- Jenny had a crush on Rona at one point, but it eventually went away
- Yoon Hee and Rona have karaoke nights
- Min Hyuk had a biiiiiigggg crush on Seokhoon
That was actually revealed by min Hyuks actor that it was originally written for min hyuk to be in love with seokhoon
That’s all I could think of😅 what are some of your headcanons?

masterlist | prev | next
[written chapter]
kazuha and chaewon had gone their separate ways at least an hour ago, when the brunette got fully focused on her mission to find minkyuk.
the girl had been wandering around that club for who knows how long until in her field of vision her target made an appearance. a worn out, completely intoxicated and almost unconscious lee minhyuk was slumping down from one of the hidden armchairs at the back of the vip area.
she stood there for a few seconds, watching him to see if he would stay there or if there was a chance he might move. the boy was pretty much asleep.
so kazuha went to the nearest bar to buy a bottle of water and then returned to the small, dark booth where the boy was. she set the drink down on the table with enough force to generate a noise, which startled minhyuk, who jumped a little in his seat and looked around in confusion, his poorly half-opened eyes falling on the girl.
"who are you?" he managed to let out in a whisper, his eyes falling closed again as he finished speaking.
"a friend."
the younger girl decided to use minhyuk's drunkenness to her advantage, knowing that if he knew who she was, he wouldn't tell her anything. if he couldn't recognize her, she wouldn't reveal her identity to him either. she sat down next to him, close enough to be able to push his body with her shoulder and keep him sitting, as he was increasingly lying on the seat. she opened the water and passed it to him to drink from, minhyuk tipped a large amount of water over himself.
"thank you." he said as he set the nearly empty bottle back on the table.
"it's nothing."
kazuha watched him as she thought about how she could get the information she needed out of him. lee couldn't keep his eyes open, his body, unable to withstand the high alcohol levels in his blood, was screaming for him to go unconscious, but then he would make some movement which, no matter how small, would wake him up. but he couldn't get up from that place, even sitting up, he would fall over. his pupils, when they met the light and reality, were lost. he was totally out of it, lost.
"how are you?" the girl asked casually.
"drunk."
"i can see that."
kazuha realized that there was no need to try to have a coherent conversation with the boy as he was either not interested at all, or not able to focus his attention on what was being said to him. he responded out of pure inertia, like a robot, as if the part of his brain that retained information was working, but the reasoning part was not.
"how is juyeon?"
"i didn't cheat on her." he confessed stuttering because the substance in his body made it difficult for him to speak. "that's not what happened." he added in a whisper.
"i know, i know." of course kazuha knew about minhyuk's sexual orientation, she was once haru's biggest confidant.
"how?"
"how come i know? i told you i'm a friend."
"are you haru?" he asked and turned to look at the girl to try to identify her.
his eyelids kept closing and opening, his body wobbling from the abrupt movement and his inability to keep his balance. the place was dark and he was very drunk, so no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't put a name to the face in front of him. he immediately gave up on his intentions, as if he had forgotten.
"i'm not haru." she saw her chance. "but how is she?"
"haru..." he named, thinking aloud. "happy."
"happy? good for her." she acted, knowing she could get what she wanted. "does it have anything to do with kazuha?"
"no." he breathed his words, he was so drunk it was hard to even keep breathing. "karina." the japanese woman's expression changed to one of bitterness at the aforementioned.
"karina?"
"she's like..." he took a big puff of air and straightened up on the couch. "her girlfriend." his body slumped back against the backrest.
"what does 'like her girlfriend' mean?"
the new piece of knowledge she had acquired had made her furious. her hands were shaking and she felt her body heat up. she hoped she was doing a good job hiding it, or that the boy was so far gone he wouldn't notice.
"i don't think it's official." he explained with difficulty letting the words out, blocking his view again. "but they're always together, they kiss, have sex and that stuff." kazuha was angered by the ease with which that last sentence had come out of the boy's mouth.
she could only clench her fist and swallow hard to make the lump in her throat go down. she had to keep her composure until she got something that would do. anyway, what minhyuk had told her she already figured.
"that's great." she lied bitterly. "where did those two meet?"
"golf."
"oh, she likes golf too? how nice."
"no." shook his head the boy, as he kept sliding from his seat to the floor out of drunkenness.
"no?" the confusion this time was real, no need to act it out.
"karina doesn't like golf." kazuha frowned. were they both talking about the same person? the one who won a tournament?
"then how did they meet at the club?"
"karina..." he was silent for a moment, he seemed to be falling asleep, so the girl gave his arm a desperate squeeze. "karina had problems with kazuha." he abruptly commented after coming out of the short trance he had entered.
"so what about it?"
minhyuk, stunned by the squeeze on his arm, moved his eyes around the room, trying to locate where he was. eventually, his gaze fell back on kazuha, and his eyes narrowed a bit, as he was trying to focus on her to get a good look. kazuha feared that at that moment he was going to find her out, and her heart pounded with nerves.
but after the adrenaline rush, the boy's body lost strength again and he leaned back on nakamura's arm.
"she entered the club to get revenge on zuha." he admitted, doing his best to form the sentence in a coherent way.
"how do you know that?" kazuha was completely in shock, her eyes wide open, her body had stopped shaking and she stood static at what she had just discovered.
all this time, was jimin trying to get it back at her?
"seungkwan told me." he answered with his voice low, just loud enough for the girl to hear, as he had to try very hard to get the words out of his chest. "they needed my invitation letter, so he confessed that to me in return." he added. "seungkwan is my situationship..." he continued to spend all the air he had left explaining all his problems with that guy.
eure, fucking, ka. kazuha had what she had come for.

Do You Think About Me Too?
Despite her successful life and career, camille continues to dwell on the year she spent as an visual art director for a Korean singer.
Genre: EXO Baekhyun Fanfic, slice-of-life, angst (it's not that deep), idol-au
Written as: one shot
Authors note: ctto of the image above. Take in mind you're reading from a non-writer, okay? Give it a <3 or anything so I'd know if it's read?
Camille doesn't know what regret feels like. Despite how awful things could turnout she never found herself in regret of anything. It's always been a matter of holding-on. If you wait long enough, things will be for the better.
Want a trolley bag for middle school? Don't ask your mom, she'll never let it happen. Backpacks are way practical for your horrendous amount of books, according to her. Let your sister ask for it and as the youngest, you'll get hers, eventually.
Been wanting to have a birthday party or just a celebration since a kid? Let's wait till you can throw yourself one. Beacuse her parents realized how exhausting the planning is from her sisters birthday parties, god forbid they throw another one ever.
No one thought she was serious with persuing arts in college? Let alone, animation? Just keep pushing and pressing on dedication. She had to prove yourself to non-believers, be handed wounding words of love. But believe it or not, they'll gaveup trying to make her reconsider other programs. But hey! Look at her and the professional that she is working for big productions. Animating shows and films that are going places that even she could never visit.
Or not even when america was too much for her. Perhaps leaving the country for a job opportunity and thinking everything will turn out fine was ambitious for an animator of a year of experience in the field. Right form the start she knew it would be lonely, depressing, and dangerous. she's got scars to prove it. They've told her too. But after 3 years of living in denial of her own loneliness, Camille prevailed. Everything finally turned out fine (before she could breakdown).
She'd give anything not to return to a similar situation. Then the strike happened and there was no work. Fresh out of her masters, she couldn't stay in the picket lines as long as they needed. She had to find a job. Any job.
Minhyuk came in saving. He was her supervisor-work friend in the production studio. Minhyuk had refered her to a job.
" What are you worried about? This is what your masters in media and communication are for, right? so you'd finally level up to director's role. Well this is it! They want an interview with you to be their art director!"
Before he told her anything about the referral, hed already shared Camille's public portfolio. Even a certain whirl-of-the-moment project of hers: a redesign of an album with mock-ups that landed the interview.
This was an opportunity for her! To finally become the art director shes always wanted (tho not for animation) either way. She can see how this can pave the way for it. But the problem was the work was in South Korea.
She'd give anything not to return to a similar situation—when she moved to america. When she moved to a country alone, without knowing anyone.
But she's done it once, so how hard could it be right? And given the situation begars can't be choosers. This is an opportunity falling in her lap.
And things are different! This time she's moving to an Asian country, so things couldn't be so different from home? Who knows things could be easier for the second time around.
Camille doesn't know what regret feels like. Until she came to South Korea for work.
Until she came there and met her employer, the CEO. Minhyuk and Camille haven't been talking to the same person. Minhyuk's friend was the CEO of the company Red Signiture. Whom he met during their military enlistment in South Korea. On the other hand the person who interviewed Camille via video conference was his secretary. Former manager, as a matter of fact
Because the CEO that's been looking for an in-house art director, who is friends with Minhyuk and couldn't hire anyone local beacuse of his status as a "start-up" was Baekhyun.
Baekhyun of Camille's favorite k-pop group, since highschool, EXO.
Camille doesn't know what regret feels like, So does Baekhyun. Despite how awful things could turn out he never found himself in regret of anything. It's always been a matter of holding-on. If you wait long enough, things will be for the better.
Until her.
"Two years later, youre still on my mind."

Meet Your Match - Chapter 3
Paring: Kihyun x reader x Minhyuk
Genre: Angst
Warnings: angst, arguing
Rating: 18+
Word Count: 5.8k
Masterlist
Glancing down at her phone, she let out an irritated sigh. As much as she loved her husband and brother, they were enough to drive her crazy. Across from her sat Minhyuk, who seemed absorbed in what his phone offered him.
Her soft smile wasn’t noticed by her company. Minhyuk took another languid sip of his drink, the ice cubes clinking against the glass like a gentle chime. His eyes, a warm combination of curiosity and distraction, remained glued to the luminous screen of his phone, consuming the cascade of information with an almost reverent focus. Yet, amidst the silent symphony of scrolling and sipping, he felt the subtle shift in the air—the unspoken words hanging between them—prompting him to look up.
His gaze met hers, and Minhyuk’s lips parted into a soft smile in that brief exchange. It was a fleeting gesture but profound enough to stir an effervescent flurry in her stomach, her heart dancing to the rhythm of nervous anticipation. She wrestled with the sensation, pushing it away like an unwanted whisper in the wind.
Clearing her throat, she broke the silence that had settled between them. “Kihyun... he messaged me,” she said, her voice stronger than expected. The words were an anchor, drawing Minhyuk back from his sea of thoughts. “He’s... apologizing for his actions.”
A peculiar silence enveloped the room as Minhyuk’s smile waned, his expression clouded by the mention of Kihyun’s name. His reaction was not dramatic, yet the falter in his usual composure was as telling as a shout in a library. His fingers paused their rhythmic tapping on the screen; an internal conflict washed over him, leaving a residue of discomfort she could almost feel hanging in the air.
Despite the storm brewing behind his eyes, Minhyuk chose silence. He shifted his gaze back to his phone as if seeking refuge in its glow, but his focus was no longer there, scattered by the tempest of thoughts that Kihyun’s message had stirred within him. She watched him, seeing the mask of tranquility he tried to maintain, knowing well the signs of his inner turmoil. Yet she respected his choice, offering him the space to navigate his feelings, even as her emotions churned with unsaid words and unasked questions.
“Are you planning on going home then?” He finally spoke, his words cutting through the silence that had settled heavily between them. His eyes were now back on her, and Minhyuk placed his phone down on the table, an evident sign of his attention fully turning towards her. His head was tilted slightly, a subtle cue signifying his concern’s gravity.
“Not right away,” she replied, steadying her tone. Her hands rested on the table, her fingers absently tracing the contour of her own glass. Her instinct was to remain nonchalant, to display an aura of calm despite the quickening pulse she felt within her chest. “But if I stay out too much longer, Nari will notice I’m gone. She’s… picked up on me, and Kihyun’s fighting much more. I know it’s getting to her. I don’t want to cause her more strain than our arguments already throw at her.”
Minhyuk nodded, acknowledging her words with a faint, wistful smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes. The topic of Nari, her daughter, offered him a momentary diversion from the unrest brewing beneath the surface. But the question that genuinely gnawed at him refused to be pushed aside for long. “Does Kihyun know you’re here with me?” he asked, his voice holding a tinge of caution as if bracing for an answer he wasn’t sure he wanted to hear.
The question hung in the air, weighty and sincere. “Yes, he knows,” she responded after a moment, her voice a mix of pride and firm resolve. “I wouldn’t lie to my husband, even when things are tense.” She locked eyes with Minhyuk, conveying the depth of her conviction. “I love him, and when we married, we promised to always be honest with each other.”
The confession settled some of the tumult within Minhyuk, his posture relaxing ever so slightly. Yet, the mention of promises and love in marriage stirred an unfathomable emotion within him, leaving a bittersweet echo as a reminder of the complexities of their intertwined relationships.
“Do you want me to take you home?” Minhyuk asked her softly. She knew the look in his eye. She knew his relationship with her husband was a mix between strong and wavering. The on-and-off balance seemed to never want to fall on one end. Minhyuk had told her it was alright; it was like this: Kihyun was his best friend at the end of the day, and he respected their relationship. “I know your car is still at Hyungwon’s. I can’t imagine how pissed Kihyun would be if I let you take a cab home. Things… aren’t too great between us right now, either. I don’t think he was thrilled knowing you were with me, but if he cared about you enough, surely he would let this slide.”
Minhyuk’s offer, delivered in a tone gentle and laden with unspoken empathy, hung between them, both an olive branch and a veiled acknowledgment of the undercurrents in his relationship with Kihyun. The air was thick with unsaid words, and her mind couldn’t help but tread on the tender ground of curiosity, yearning to understand the fluctuating dynamics between the two men.
Yet, before she could voice her questions, Minhyuk subtly shifted the focus. He leaned back, a wry, almost resigned smile gracing his lips, betraying his intent to deflect further inquiry. “Let’s not worry about that now,” he said, a quiet undercurrent of finality lacing his words. “You’ve got enough on your plate.”
She hesitated, the taut string of her emotions fraying with each passing moment. The evident strain between Minhyuk and Kihyun pulled at her, adding weight to her already heavy heart. They were her family, yet they were cloaked in a mystery that seemed to grow deeper with every elusive glance and carefully chosen word.
Ultimately, it wasn’t the not knowing that convinced her, but the realization that Minhyuk offered a ride home and a sanctuary from the brewing storm. “Alright,” she agreed, her voice a soft concession borne of exhaustion and trust in Minhyuk’s caring nature. “Thank you, Minhyuk. I’d appreciate the ride.”
Minhyuk offered a slight nod, attempting to camouflage the relief that flickered in his eyes as he stood and moved to her side. The gesture was simple, a friend extending a helping hand, but it carried the weight of their shared history, the silent vows of protection and support that friends — that family — offered one another without a second thought.
The ride to her home was a silent journey, an unspoken agreement to let the evening quiet envelop them both. Minhyuk’s hands were steady on the wheel, his gaze fixed on the road that unwound in the dim glow of the streetlights. She sat beside him, wrapped in her own thoughts, feeling the fabric of her evening fray into contemplation and concern.
They arrived at her residence, the familiar outline of her home - their home. The same beautiful house Kihyun had promised her the night they got married. Her heart hitched at the sight of Kihyun, her husband, standing outside, his figure backlit by the porch light. His stance was patient, a quiet sentinel awaiting her return.
“This is you,” he said, the softness in his voice betraying the strength he projected. Minhyuk pulled the car to a gentle stop, the engine’s purr dwindling to silence. With a cautious glance at Kihyun, Minhyuk hit the switch to unlock the doors.
She reached for the door handle, fleeting gratitude brushing her lips as she murmured a subdued “Thank you” to Minhyuk. Stepping out of the car, she was immediately enveloped in the crisp night air, a prelude to the warmth she was about to face.
As she approached Kihyun, his expression shifted, a softening of features at the sight of his wife. It was an unguarded moment, a testament to their shared love that persisted through difficulties and strain. He pulled her into his embrace, and she melted into him, their troubles momentarily suspended in the cocoon of his arms. His lips found hers in a kiss that spoke of apology, forgiveness, and a promise to move forward together.
The door closed behind her, leaving Minhyuk alone after their departure. The silence that settled was abruptly punctuated by Kihyun’s piercing gaze. He had turned, offering Minhyuk a glance that was both a warning and a demand for understanding. It was the look of a man protecting what he layered with the complexity of friendship and the unspoken struggles only they knew.
Minhyuk acknowledged the unvoiced message with a nod, signaling respect and boundaries before Kihyun disappeared inside the home. As Minhyuk drove away, the night reclaimed its stillness, leaving him to navigate the roads and his thoughts, which were as twisted and intertwined as the streets that led him back into the loneliness of the city night.
The moment the door shut for the final time that night, Y/N turned to Kihyun, who let out a soft breath. His eyes didn’t meet hers, but she could tell by how his lips held a firm line that he was trying his hardest not to say something. His eyes finally flicked to her, his mouth holding a frown.
“Welcome home.” His voice quivered as he finally spoke, the weight of unspoken words hanging heavy in the air. With a quick intake of breath, he straightened his posture, attempting to mask his vulnerability.
“Don’t, Kihyun. I’m not in the mood, so please don’t start,” she interjected sharply, sensing the tension thickening around them. She knew that pleading would only take her so far; her raw truth was bound to have consequences.
“Not in the mood?” he echoed, words laced with a sharp edge. Kihyun’s face darkened, the festering hurt bubbling to the surface as he stepped back, his embrace growing cold. “I’m left waiting, wondering if my wife will come home or spend her night confiding in my best friend and her brother — and I shouldn’t start?”
She felt the sting of his words, but her frustrations were brimming over, a tempest no less fierce than his own. “Yes, my brother,” she retorted, her voice raising in pitch, a blend of defiance and pain. “Because when I look for my husband, I find a man so entangled in his work that he can’t spare a glance for his own family!”
“You think I don’t see you? That I don’t care?” Kihyun’s voice cracked, his facade crumbling as his raw emotion spilled out. “I’m working for us — so we can have the life you deserve!”
“Deserve?” she spat back, her eyes flashing with an incendiary mix of sadness and anger. “I don’t deserve a husband so lost to his work that he becomes a stranger to me! I needed you, Kihyun. I needed my husband, not this distant... shadow that’s left in his place.”
Kihyun’s stance softened for a second, but she saw the realization, the understanding dawning on him. But it was quickly veiled by the resurgence of his defenses. Silence fell, a bitter cloak around their shoulders, and the depth of their struggle was evident in that pause. Two souls, intertwined by love and vows, were now caught in an emotional crossfire where pride and loneliness waged a relentless war.
“I don’t want an empty life filled with hollow successes and a home that feels like a waiting room,” she whispered, her words a serrated blade aimed at the heart of their issues. “I want us back, Kihyun, not this.”
“And you went to them?” Kihyun asked, voice hoarse from the struggle, a mix of accusation and hurt. He stepped towards her, a ghost of despair in his eyes.
“He’s my brother!” she reminded him fiercely. “And right now, he’s one of the few people who make me feel like I’m not alone in this — like I still matter!”
The room seemed to contract around them, the air thick with the weight of their shared sorrow, their love. What they once were falling apart around them.
Her fury rose, pain transforming into a forceful defense of her actions. “He is my blood, Kihyun! When I turn around and need someone, I find his support — not because I seek him out over you, but because he’s present and notices!” Her voice echoed through the room, fraught with her loneliness. “He’s the first person who notices when I’m down. That should be you, Kihyun! Not my brother. Not Minhyuk! You!”
Kihyun’s eyes flashed, a complex, dark glint revealing his internal struggle. “And that’s the problem, isn’t it?” he shot back, his voice cold. “That’s why Hyungwon looks at me the way he does now, with resentment, because he sees the distance between us and blames me — as if I don’t know I’m losing you both!”
“You think you’re losing us?” she fired back, incredulous, her brows knitting together as she shook her head. “We were never yours to lose, Kihyun — not possessions to be pushed aside until they better fit your schedule!” She took a shaky breath, a bitter laugh leaving her lips. “You’d know that if you weren’t so worried about numbers and figuring out when you can properly fit a vacation in your schedule.”
A bitter laugh escapes his lips, laced with desperation and a touch of madness. “And running to Minhyuk every time there’s a problem, too,” Kihyun spits out, his words like deadly arrows aimed straight for the heart. His gaze is piercing, a cold fire burning in his eyes as he accuses with venom in his voice. “What’s with that?”
She knew what he was insinuating without him having to spell it out, and the insinuation tore through her. “So, what? You think there’s something untoward going on between me and your best friend?” As if struck, she recoiled her voice a quiet tremor of hurt and outrage. “You’re so full of it, Kihyun.”
Kihyun’s stance shifted, a visible recoiling of his own, the accusation and doubts clashing tumultuously. “No,” he said, but the conviction was absent, replaced by a hollow, defeated tone, “I don’t know. I just... I don’t see. I don’t see anything anymore.”
“You’re right,” she said, her voice low, leveling her gaze at him. “You don’t see. You don’t see Nari’s longing for her daddy’s attention, for the man who promised her moons and stars but only delivers empty minutes. You don’t see that you’re not the center of my universe because you’ve chosen another galaxy to inhabit — your work.”
Her voice trembled with a mix of anger and sadness. “It’s not fair for me to carry the weight of her expectations while dealing with my heartache. You promised us, but now you’re saying that other things are more important than our life together.” She looked at him with tears in her eyes, torn between her feelings and the reality of their situation. “Kihyun, the day I married you, you promised me you’d go out of your way to get me the universe! Where is that?! If I knew that you’d be so lost in your work not even two years after being married, I would have said no.”
Kihyun’s jaw clenched, a vein throbbing in his neck as he battled emotions. “The universe?” he echoed, the words torn from somewhere deep, raw, and edged with fierce desperation. “You think I’ve forgotten? Every day, I wake up with the burden of that promise, knowing that I’m failing you, failing Nari. I’m trying to do right by us. Trying to have us not live the life we did as kids!”
His hands balled into fists at his sides, and she could almost see the walls he had built around himself as if to contain the tempest within. “Do you know how that feels? To toil and strain, to give every ounce of your being, and still fall short?”
Her expression softened momentarily, the anger giving way to the profound sorrow of seeing him so tormented. But the damage had been done, the dark whispers of doubt and fear sharpening her words again. “I never asked for the universe, Kihyun! Just a sliver of your time, your presence. That was my universe.”
“And I’m failing at that, too!” Kihyun’s voice cracked, and his soul laid bare. “But I’m trying, damn it! Can’t you see that? Everything I do, I do for you, for Nari. For our future.”
“The future is now,” she shot back, her voice heavy with the gravity of their present. “Nari is growing up now. I am living now. Our marriage is withering now. What future are you working for if it costs us our now?”
His face twisted with a heartbreaking conflict as if her words were arrows and he had no shield. “I thought it would be enough to build something lasting, something monumental. I could turn around, and there would be time to compensate for the lost moments.”
His breath shuddered, his eyes shimmering with a sheen of unshed tears. “But the sacrifice… it’s too much, isn’t it? I’ve sacrificed the wrong things.”
Their shared pain seemed to bridge the chasm between them for a heartbeat, a mournful realization of the missteps that had led them here. But the chasm was too wide, the damage too deep. The universe he had tried to deliver was collapsing, and their love struggled to survive amid the fallout. In that tumultuous space, amongst their anguished admissions, lay the true heart of their agony: the knowledge that love might not be enough to navigate through the void left by broken promises and shattered trust.
“And what of the life we have now?” she countered, her voice rising to match the pitch of her despair. “The one falling apart at the seams?”
In that heated moment, Kihyun glanced up, suddenly catching sight of a small figure on the stairway. Their daughter, Nari, stood transfixed by the scene unfolding before her. The innocence in her wide, tearful eyes struck him like a physical blow, and instantly, the defensive walls he built began to crumble as he watched as she held her stuffed rabbit close.
“Nari,” he breathed, his voice barely a thread as it reflected a new depth of his anguish.
At his exclamation, Y/N’s gaze swiftly turned to her daughter, the immediate shock freezing her in place. Nari’s eyes met hers for a heart-wrenching moment before the girl turned abruptly, a sob breaking from her as she fled back up the stairs.
Panic and parental guilt overtook the couple’s prior acrimony. They exchanged a look of shared horror, understanding that they had allowed their personal tempest to spill over onto their most precious.
Without another word, they followed in Nari’s wake, their own conflict now secondary to the need to console their child. The two of them raced up the stairs, the sound of their footsteps a stark, urgent drumming against the silence that had fallen after Nari's escape.
Reaching the top, they paused at the entrance to her room, each catching their breath from the exertion and the dire need to repair the inadvertent hurt they’d caused. Y/N’s hand hovered over the doorknob, her eyes meeting Kihyun’s — both slick with a film of regret.
She pushed the door open gently, the sight of Nari curled up on her bed, her small frame shaking with sobs, piercing their hearts like a dagger. The room, usually a sanctuary of laughter, now held a heavy air of something lost, something broken.
“Nari, baby,” Kihyun said, stepping forward, his voice strained yet tender as he reached for their daughter. But Nari recoiled, burrowing deeper into her pillows and stuffed animals fortress, her tear-streaked face turned away.
Y/N moved closer, sitting on the edge of the bed. She smoothed back Nari’s hair, whispering soothing words. “Honey, we’re so sorry. You shouldn’t have seen that or heard any of it.”
Nari’s cries began to subside, her parents’ presence a balm to her fright and confusion. Kihyun knelt beside the bed, his heart aching with the echo of each of Nari’s sniffles. “Your mom and I, we... we love you so much. More than anything in this, or any universe.”
The moment was delicately poised; the air seemed to hold its breath. Y/N reached out, intertwining her fingers with Kihyun’s, a silent act of solidarity in their shared purpose. She offered a wobbly smile to Nari, the gentle humor behind it a frail attempt to dispel the shadows.
“Look at us, sweetheart,” she said softly, the tremble in her tone belying her calm exterior. “We’re a bit of a mess, aren’t we?”
“Are you... are you going to get a divorce?” The question was a whisper but boomed like thunder in the room’s stillness. Nari sniffled, a faint hiccup breaking through as her gaze shifted between her parents, perhaps searching for the stability that had seemed so shaken.
Kihyun’s hand tightened around Y/N’s, grounding them both. “Oh, Nari,” he murmured, his voice a brush of sound, “No, that’s not what we want. We were just... We need to work through things, but we’re still a team. Your mom and I, we’re going to fix this. I love your mother very much. I even vowed to her the day we got married to cherish her through everything. Your old father… he’s made some mistakes. But I’m going to fix that.”
His eyes, dark and earnest, met Y/N’s, seeking unspoken forgiveness for the shared hurt they had caused their daughter. Y/N nodded, silently echoing his promise.
“Sometimes adults get upset, and we say things we don’t mean,” Y/N explained, her voice laced with sorrow for the innocence that had been momentarily blemished. “But we love you, and that love? It’s stronger than any argument or any problem. We just forgot for a little moment, that’s all.”
Nari hiccuped again, her eyes brimming with hope and lingering uncertainty. “Promise?” The single word was laden with the weight of a child’s entire world.
“We promise,” Kihyun and Y/N said in unison, their voices melding into a singular balm for Nari’s heart.
“Nari,” Y/N spoke up, her heart slightly heavy as she rubbed her daughter’s back, “Where did you hear that? That word shouldn’t be something you know.”
Nari’s little body stilled within the encircling fortress of her parents’ arms. She pulled back slightly, a brave face attempting to overshadow her quivering lip. With a tiny hand, she swept at the tears that triumphed over her lashes, an earnest effort to appear composed.
“I... I heard Lia talking about it,” Nari sniffled, the name of her close friend surfacing among the remnants of her tears. “Her parents argue a lot, too. She said they were getting a divorce, meaning she might have to move away.” Nari’s next breath shuddered. “And I got scared because what if—”
Y/N shared a heavy glance with Kihyun; the unspoken fear that their domestic storms might uproot their daughter’s sense of safety was now painfully spoken aloud. She pulled Nari close once again, cradling her daughter’s face in the warm sanctuary of her palms.
“Oh, honey,” Y/N murmured, her voice threaded with care and subtle strength. “What’s happening with Lia’s family — it’s sad, and it’s okay to be scared. But every family has their own story, and ours is different.”
Kihyun nodded, firm in his conviction, adding, “Just like Lia is your good friend, your mom and I are the best friends, too. And even though we argue sometimes, we always find our way back to each other. We will find our way through this. Together.”
Tiny fingers clung to Y/N’s sleeves, Nari’s wide eyes lifted towards her, a flicker of hope reigniting within their depths. “So... we’re not like Lia’s family?” she asked, seeking assurance more than anything else.
“No, baby, we’re not,” Y/N affirmed, her voice quiet but resolute. “We love each other too much, and we love you even more.” She exchanged a glance with Kihyun, whose presence was a silent oath to the truth in her words. “We have our challenges, but we’ll face them as a family and overcome them as one.”
The subtle wisdom in their words seemed to settle over the room. While the shadows of doubt might take time to dispel entirely, the love within their familial embrace was a testament to their commitment. This promise held more weight than any uncertainty could shake.
Nari’s eyes, still glistening from the remnants of her tears, searched Kihyun’s, seeking the comfort of words and the assurance of action. “Does this mean you’ll be home more?” she asked with a hopeful lilt, a hint of yearning betraying her wishful thinking. “I miss it when you’re home. When you tell me bedtime stories, when we eat dinner together... when we make pancakes on Sunday mornings.”
Kihyun felt the sting of her words; they were an innocent recounting of his absences, a tally of the small moments that made up a young life in which he had been a spectator more often than he preferred. “I miss that too, Nari, very much.”
He reached out, brushing away a stray tear with a thumb, his heart tightening at her soft vulnerability. “I know I’ve been away a lot. Work has kept me busy, but that’s no excuse. You’re my little girl, my star, and I want to be there for all those moments. I promise I’ll be there. For the stories, dinners, pancake mornings... For everything.”
Y/N watched the exchange, the healing words spoken by Kihyun weaving into the very fabric of their small family. She felt a warm glow inside her chest—a mix of love and tentative optimism. “And I’ll help make sure he sticks to that promise,” she added with a playful wink at Kihyun, eliciting a sniffled giggle from Nari.
In a movement brimming with tenderness, Kihyun scooped Nari into his arms, lifting her like the lightest feather. “How about I start tonight? We can pick out a book, and I’ll read until your eyes are heavy with sleep.”
Nari’s smile was a sunrise, brightening the dimmed room, her earlier fears dissipating like mist in the warmth of her father’s pledge and her mother’s love. “And tomorrow,” she said, excitement lacing her words, “can we make pancakes?”
“We can make enough pancakes to feed an army,” Kihyun laughed, the sound rich and full of life’s promise.
Y/N, a silent observer to the exchange, felt something stir within her — a cautious hope that perhaps they could turn a new leaf, one where the family came before all else. She gave her daughter a soft squeeze, her silent promise to ensure Kihyun kept his word.
Kihyun’s gaze lingered on Y/N for a moment longer, acknowledging her unspoken words before he turned his attention to Nari. “Let’s find that storybook, shall we?” he said, and Nari bobbed her head, her chestnut hair bouncing with the movement.
With Kihyun and Nari nestled under the duvet, their heads close together as they flipped through her favorite fairy tale pages, Y/N quietly exited the room. She made her way through the dimly lit hallway, allowing herself a moment to gather her thoughts and brave the swell of emotions that had threatened to engulf her throughout the day. She took deep breaths, steadying herself for the discussion she knew was yet to come.
Minutes slipped by, filled with the low, melodic cadence of Kihyun’s storytelling from the other room. Nari’s light and free laughter floated through the walls, a testament to a father’s love and the healing powers of time spent together.
Finally, the gentle creak of the bedroom door announced Kihyun’s return. He found Y/N seated on their bed, her silhouette framed by the soft lamplight. The air between them was thick, full with things unsaid and deeds yet undone.
“Her laughter—it’s the best sound,” Kihyun started, but Y/N cut him off, her voice firm but weary.
“Kihyun, you made promises tonight. To Nari, to me. Promises I expect you to keep.” Y/N’s eyes held a storm of emotions, a testament to the battles she’d been silently waging. “I’m struggling, Kihyun. Struggling to keep up this facade that everything is fine for Nari’s sake, and you... you’re pulling away when we need you most.”
The room, draped in shadows and the soft luminescence of the bedside lamp, seemed to shrink with the tension that those words carried. Kihyun stood there, the joy of Nari’s laughter from moments ago now replaced by a tightness in his chest. His love for Y/N was unwavering, but the fear of losing her — of losing this family he cherished — clawed at him, demanding to be confronted.
“I’m not pulling away,” he said, the edge in his voice betraying his defensiveness. “I’m trying, damn it, I’m trying. You think I don’t know how hard this has been on you?”
Y/N inhaled sharply, her composure fraying. “Trying isn’t enough! You have to be here, really be here with us, not just going through the motions. I feel alone in this, Kihyun,” her admission was soft-spoken yet held a weight that filled the entire space between them. “Your job has taken priority over us. I missed the man who would rather cut his day short to be with me. To spend time with me while our baby was still in my belly. I miss the partner who would prioritize our family over work. Kihyun, I need you.”
Silence fell upon the room as the words hung in the air, each syllable inflicting hurt. For a heartbeat, Kihyun was at a loss; the prospect of his wife’s loneliness — seeded by his own shortcomings — left him feeling both mad and worried. He was Mad at himself for letting it get this far and genuinely concerned that he could lose her if he didn’t make real changes.
Finally, Kihyun closed the distance between them. He reached for Y/N’s hands, taking them into his own as a gesture of reconciliation. “I... I can’t bear the thought of being without you, without Nari. I’ve been so caught up in making a living I forgot to make a life with you both.”
Tears shimmered in Y/N’s eyes, a mix of frustration and the first twinges of hope. “Kihyun, I don’t want to walk this path without you, but I can’t do it alone. We’re supposed to be partners.”
His voice broke as he pulled her into a hug, the kind that sought to mend what had frayed at the edges. “No more excuses,” he whispered.
Kihyun’s barely audible whisper was heavy with the gravity of his understanding. The silent tremors of his body against hers communicated more than words ever could — the depth of his regret and his promise’s earnestness.
Y/N’s arms hesitantly wrapped around him, her touch tentative as if she feared that too firm a grip might shatter the fragile moment. Her voice was a ghost of sound, almost lost in the canvas of night. “I believe that you want to change, Kihyun, I do. But it has to be more than just a promise. Actions, not just words.”
He could feel the resolve in her voice, the unyielding intent of a woman who had weathered storms and stood her ground. Kihyun pulled back slightly, just enough to search her eyes, which were pools reflecting his commitment to reformation. “I know that, Y/N. And you’re right. You and Nari deserve better from me, and I’ll give you nothing less. I’ll make it my priority.”
Y/N released a breath she hadn’t realized she’d held, her heart wanting fiercely to lean into the hope that spread beneath her ribs like the first blush of dawn. But part of her guarded that hope shielded it with a caveat born of past disappointments.
“You have to, Kihyun,” she said, her words a quiet ultimatum laced with the last strands of her patience. “I can’t... I won’t keep picking up the pieces on my own. If we’re thrown aside again — if I’m thrown aside — I can’t stay. Not like this.”
Kihyun felt the sting of her words, an ache that threatened to constrict his throat. The envisioned future — a bleak landscape devoid of her and Nari’s smiles — propelled him into fervency. “I understand. I do. That won’t happen. I’ll put you both first. I’ll be the husband and the father you both need.” With a gentle smile, Kihyun whispered words that echoed with sincerity, “Together, we will weather any storm.”
He wiped away any stray tears that fell from her face, his face now full of love. She knew his walls had crumbled the moment Nari caught their ugly argument. She had hoped for their daughters sake those walls would remain down for as long as they were alive.
“Why don’t you get ready for bed. I’ll shoot a quick message to everyone and cancel all my meetings tomorrow so we can have a nice day out. Maybe we can head to Jeju for the day. Whatever you and Nari want to do, I’ll make it happen.”
Y/N felt a flicker of surprise and guarded elation at his words, her heart daring to hope that things might actually be different this time. His eyes, open and earnest, were windows to the vulnerability he rarely showed anymore. His determination to prioritize their family was not just a temporary dam against the flood of emotions but a foundational change in the architecture of his priorities.
“Jeju sounds wonderful,” Y/N nodded, her voice soft but carrying an undercurrent of cautious optimism. The idea of a family outing was like a tentative step on a new path, their own winding road toward healing.
Kihyun reached for his phone, moving with purpose, his thumbs flying across the screen as he sent the necessary messages to clear his schedule — a tangible first step that Y/N witnessed. This small yet significant olive branch signaled his commitment to their future.
Their eyes met again, and the air hummed with the quiet but fervent promise of new beginnings. As Kihyun’s lips upturned into a hopeful smile, Y/N allowed herself a moment of reprieve from the guarded walls she had built around her heart.
“It’s a new day tomorrow for all of us,” he said, embracing the dual promise of daylight and the laughter of the ones he loved most. Kihyun nodded, his heart lighter with every canceled meeting, a symbolic shedding of the weights that had previously shackled him to a life out of balance.
“I’ll go get ready for bed,” she murmured, lifting her gaze to his just once more before retreating to the sanctity of their bedroom. Her eyes caught a glimpse of his screen, which showed Minhyuk’s name. Her heart skipped a beat, and a mix of curiosity and uncertainty washed over her. She could only hope his message was an apology.
After all, Minhyuk was his best friend.

Shownu: Half-Orc Barbarian
Shownu was born and raised into a communal clan of half-orcs, living in isolation from the rest of the world. While he did have parents, he really was raised by the entire group, with each member teaching him every skill they could. As he grew, he eventually became a proficient blacksmith, becoming the official apprentice for the clan. Everything was peaceful - until it wasn't. One day, the village was attacked by a group of raiders who had a particular hatred for half-orcs, wanting them to suffer. The raiders were destroying everything in their path, taking anyone and anything they could get their hands on. Shownu, who happened to be finishing his shift at the blacksmith's, ran out to the commotion, newly forged and sharpened axes in his hands. After witnessing the terror for himself, Shownu's rage became too much to handle. Despite his typically peaceful nature, he blazed through the raiders, as if the axes were made to be in his hands. When the raiders realized there was no stopping him, they ran, never to be seen again. While the village stood silent, marveling in Shownu's show of strength and fury, all he could care about was going back and fixing the damage to the shop, as well as what he was going to eat for lunch. That day, without him knowing, his people deemed him the town protector, knowing that his love for his village and his might would protect them from any danger - even with his peaceful demeanor.
Wonho: Human Druid
Wonho doesn’t have any memory of where he really came from. All he knew was that as a small child, he wandered into the feywild and was adopted by the people there. They showed him all sorts of magic, but quickly learned that he loved animal magic the most. As he grew, they focused more on teaching him the lessons of animal magic, and Wonho quickly became a druid prodigy. Befitting for his gentle temperament, the feywild people bestowed upon him the power to transform into a small lop-eared rabbit, with a nature as gentle as himself. After bestowing this gift upon him, the feywild people gave Wonho a mission: go into the human world, and show the power of love and kindness to those who are most in need of it. Each village he approached, he approached with kindness and curiosity, which was off putting to most of the locals. However, those who saw his genuineness and appreciation for learning welcomed him. Wonho quickly learned he had a soft spot for the orphanages of the villages, seeing how much in-need the young children were of love and kindness. Wonho became a regular presence, often showing up in his rabbit form to greet the children as they played. He rarely showed his human form to them until one night, when he was caught sneaking in extra food rations by the head of the orphanage. The head of the orphanage watched as Wonho got so spooked by his presence that he accidentally shifted into his rabbit form, exposing himself as a druid - and the one that was giving comfort to the children. The orphanage owner, instead of kicking Wonho out, allowed Wonho to stay and work at the orphanage as a caretaker for the children. Needless to say, the children were incredibly overjoyed at his presence, both animal and human. Wonho knew from then on, his mission would always be complete.
Minhyuk: Tiefling Rogue
From the time he was born, Minhyuk knew that he was meant to be a showman. As a small child he would regularly pretend to be different characters, creating new stories of people and things from far-off lands. However, because of his appearance and infernal nature, his theatricality was often seen as a threat by the other children. Being a tiefling was seen as a curse. Despite those who tried to make him feel ashamed for who he was, Minhyuk never gave up on his dream. However, as much as he put on a brave face, he could never deny that the words of the ignorant cut him to his core. One day, it became all too much. He saw the horrible paintings on his home, depicting him as nothing more than an awful monster, a creature never to be respected. That night, he packed his things and ran, never to return to his hometown again. Every village he wandered into, he found the outcasts, the odd-ones-out, and the rejected. To each of them, he gave kindness and respect, and shared his dream of creating a show where no one would have to be ashamed of who they were. Eventually, he had a whole group of followers, and their dream began to take shape. Every talent, magic, look, and style were welcome in Minhyuk’s show. He would make sure they were all introduced with respect and lauded with praise. Anyone who dared try to ridicule his fellow performers would quickly be met with Minhyuk’s legendary infernal wrath. While his show was still met with the usual group of detractors and protestors, Minhyuk knew that he was doing what he was meant to. His dream of showmanship, and showing the world what those who are rejected are capable of, all came together. No matter what, he never let the hatred get to him anymore.
Kihyun: Half-Siren Bard
Kihyun was born on a boat to a sea-faring family, but ships are not friendly places to small children. There was a massive storm that tossed him overboard, and because of his age, he began to drown. That was, until he felt two arms scoop him up and the air returned to his lungs. He would learn that he was saved by a siren queen who had taken pity on him and bestowed him with some of the powers of the sirens. Kihyun was raised with the pod, never really questioning why he was the only one without a tail, scales, or gills. To him, they were the only family he actually knew. He grew up singing, his voice becoming a unique and alluring power that benefited him greatly; and, because of his mostly human origins, he would learn that he is the only “siren” that could walk between sea and land. When Kihyun reached adulthood, he decided to leave the pod and venture onto land full time, promising his mother the siren queen to never forget his true self. He wandered onto the shores and began his new life, humming his way through local villages. Because of the alluring tone of his singing, he quickly drew crowds. Local taverns tripped over each other to try and get him to perform, and Kihyun found himself obliging all of them, bouncing to a different one each night. However, this quickly became too much for Kihyun. He decided to become an apprentice at a local bakery, where his skill with baked goods nearly outshone his talents for music. Every now and again, the owner of the bakery would open the door to the shop to let the locals hear Kihyun’s humming as he worked. One day, an elderly member of the village came into the bakery, and Kihyun recognized them as the owner of one of the oldest, smallest taverns in the village. Kihyun felt it was fate as the tavern owner lamented over how few patrons came through their doors. Kihyun volunteered to help, scheduling a performance for that night at the old tavern that brought in nearly the entire village. Seeing the smile on the tavern owner’s face as he sang brought so much joy to Kihyun’s heart that he announced to the village that this would be the only tavern he would perform in. From then on, Kihyun was a baker’s assistant by day, and a tavern singer by night. He finally felt whole both of his worlds finally at peace with each other.
Hyungwon: Human Ranger
From his earliest memories, the only human person that Hyungwon ever knew was his grandfather. Living in the middle of nowhere, on the outskirts of society, Hyungwon was raised to trust and respect the land around him, and was taught how to survive in the harshest of conditions. Despite his disdain for exerting extreme amounts of energy, Hyungwon became a skilled survivalist. Eventually, his grandfather passed away, and Hyungwon was driven to live out in the wild on his own. Because he didn’t really have anyone else, Hyungwon found himself connecting more with the wild, especially with the animals. This led to him discovering his ability to summon an animal companion to keep him company. This animal companion, or companions, became a hoard of rats he accumulated while on the road, with their leader, whom Hyungwon named Ratrick. Every now and again, whenever he realized that he was running low on supplies that he couldn’t make or find himself, Hyungwon (having a small existential crisis) forced himself to wander into local villages to restock. He would use Ratrick and his hoard rats to gather what they could before he had to step in and do it himself. Anything he could do to avoid people, he’d do it. The only person who ever made the effort to become friends with Hyungwon and give him one small connection to society was Shownu. The only reason that this happened was because Shownu almost killed Hyungwon by accident after he found Hyungwon sneaking large amounts of snacks out of the community pantry. Shownu saw that despite Hyungwon's incredible reflexes and skill, that all Hyungwon really wanted was to be. Just be. So, Shownu gave Hyungwon the supplies he needed and told Hyungwon that if he ever wanted a place to return to, that he would always have one in Shownu's village. That one connection was all Hyungwon needed in the world - that and Ratrick.
Jooheon: Human Sorcerer
Even though he would deny it, the village where he was born called Jooheon a miracle. For many generations, the village had been plagued by a militant occupation of power and money-hungry warlords. These warlords would regularly steal children as young as infants to raise them to be pieces of their military machine. Jooheon’s family did everything they could to keep his birth a secret, but his presence was felt all the way to the Feywild. The Fae decided to bless Jooheon with magic abilities - a jack-of-all-trades magic that would help him on his quest to freedom. Despite his blessing, Jooheon grew up hidden and isolated. His parents told him stories passed down from those before them of how the village used to be free until the warmongers had taken over. Every story fueled Jooheon to want to take action, and so he grew his magic to one day bring that liberation to his village. As an adult, with his Fae blessing fully charged, he made his presence known with explosions, taking out many of the warmonger’s bases. Cultivating all of his power, he blew through the warmonger’s encampments. By the time dawn began to break, not a single leader was left. The village was finally free - but, what now? Jooheon spent days in the village, ensuring everyone that he was force of good, and working with the other villagers to liberate all of the lost children that had been stolen from them. As more weeks passed, Jooheon began to feel more like there was something more left for him to do. As the village got back on its feet, free of their militant oppressors, Jooheon felt more and more useless, and his family could sense it. And so, they knew to let him go. They knew, with his Fae blessing, he would become a powerful freedom fighter that would bring liberation to countless people - just as he was born to do.
Chankgyun: Half-Elf Bard
Changkyun was born into a family of bardic singers, beloved by the humans and elvish. Everyone born into the family was blessed with a beautiful voice, and joined in the family choir once they came of age. That was, until Changkyun came along. When he became old enough to start his training to join the family, they learned something quite jarring - Changkyun couldn’t sing at all. No matter what they tried, he just could not sing to their standards; and so, they gave up on him. Every time they would travel to a new town to perform, Chankgyun’s family would sit him in the very back of the tavern while they performed. One night when he was a tween, and they saw him scribbling away on some paper. When they snatched the paper away from him, they saw that this whole time he had been writing lyrics -lyrics for him to perform. At first they laughed, reminding Changkyun that he was tone-deaf, but then he opened his mouth and began to rap the lyrics to perfection. His musicality, despite not singing, rendered his family speechless, as they never realized that talent could look different than what they expected. And so, Changkyun’s family gave him permission to join the family choir - an offer that he quickly refused. Chankgyun knew he was meant for more, and the fact that it took them until now to realize it never sat well for him. He walked off into the night, lyrics and a small drum in tow. On Chankgyun’s travels, he grew his skills of rhythm and rap. His unique musical stylings (and sporadic d*ck jokes) enthralled every village and town he came across. Despite being more shy and quiet when not performing, his stage persona was goofy, flirtatious, and a little bit of a menace. Every now and again, when he would have to interact with fans on the road, he’d break out the persona - an act that would regularly get him into trouble. There was an incident where he accidentally got engaged to a half-orc that he sweet-talked…he doesn’t like to talk about it. But, with every adventure and every song, he felt more and more free. He was no longer the “tone-deaf outcast”, but a creative spirit in his own right - one that he was meant to be all along. His talents helped him connect to so many on the outskirts, including Minhyuk, Jooheon and the others. Changkyun knew from then on that he would never be tossed aside again.

What if someone is very actively flirting with RO, making heart eyes at them, complimenting, smiling sweetly, etc. The MC looks at them from afar. They don't like it, they are jealous and upset, but they can't say anything because they are too shy and not sure if RO likes such attention from this person or not. So, MC just sends sad glances in their direction.
What will the ROs do? (if it's a crush stage)
Okay, so I split this question into two parts:
When the ROs notice the MC but aren’t aware of MC’s feelings.
If the ROs don’t notice the MC, aren’t aware of their feelings, and they just get flirted with.
I assume the ROs have a crush on MC in both cases. (I applied their sexualities too, just for reference: Sinan - straight, Nayla - lesbian, Aneka - bisexual and aromantic, Miguel - gay, Hongyu - bisexual, Marcos/Maria - bisexual, Minhyuk/Miyeon/Min - pansexual).
Sinan:
He is the team leader. The moment he sees anyone looking sad or anything, he will be there, crush or not, MC or any other member. He would reject any flirting woman immediately if he has a crush. He wants to try his best and dedicate his energy always to one woman, who has his interest and heart, at the time.
So that applies here too; if he has a crush, he isn’t interested in anyone until he dates his crush or he is 100% sure that it's not going to work out.
Nayla:
She isn’t really the hook-up type, and to be interested in a woman, she wants to get to know her better. But why get to know a woman better when she already has a crush? She is not interested in getting to know two women at the same time. So she would, of course, come over to MC and ask her if everything is alright. She rejected the other woman to be by her crush's side before MC can even get really sad.
Same as Sinan, if she doesn’t notice MC, she would still decline and probably look for MC afterwards to spend time with her.
Aneka:
(So she is aromantic. Her route is more like a really close platonic friend/queer platonic friendship, and when wanted, with NSFW content, but that’s optional. I will describe her feelings in her route closer. She is similar to me in that I am on the aromantic spectrum too. You can play her route and be romantically into her, but you still have to remember that she is aromantic and may be a bit repulsed by that and unsure how to proceed. There will be multiple ways and endings to fix this later and still be good with her or not.)
Since she is aromantic, people flirting with her will lead nowhere; sometimes she just enjoys listening to them, so she stays, sometimes she don't. MC could still be jealous and hurt. Aneka values people close to her more, and since she doesn’t have a crush, let’s say she feels really close emotionally to the MC. She would definitely see that something is going on and immediately leave the flirty person behind; MC is way more important than some random person.
She would leave the flirty person after a while; she has fun with strangers sometimes, but there has to be strict no strings attached, so if the flirty person shows too much interest or is an asshole, she is out.
Miguel:
Miguel definitely knows when he has a crush on someone; he is really aware of his feelings and may hyperventilate and overthink. That’s why when he notices MC, the man he has a crush on, he is immediately concerned and comes over and makes sure that MC is okay and stays with MC if that is wanted.
If he doesn’t notice the MC but has a crush on the MC, he would either refuse the other man who is flirting with him because he has a crush on MC or go with him, flirt with him in hopes that it would take his mind off his crush even if he feels shitty later.
Hongyu:
He is really good at denying that he has a crush on someone, especially to himself, so he most likely isn’t aware that he has a crush on MC. He would notice that something is going on, however, and come over to MC and ask them if they are okay.
Since he doesn’t know that he has a crush, or well, he hasn’t realized, he would maybe just talk with the flirty person and decide spontaneously if he goes with them, or continues talking, or when he has had enough. He likes to have a good time; it’s nothing more than that for him, everythings starts as a good time for him, it rarely starts because of genuine dates.
Marcos/Maria:
They don’t like being openly directly flirted with, especially in a public setting, too out of their control. They would feel a little uncomfortable. They can get used to it and like it, but it takes time and trust. They like more subtle, indirect ways of flirting from others. They themselves sometimes flirt openly, but only when they do it and can decide the setting and everything, then it's okay for them. They wouldn’t notice MC feeling sad or off, but when they see them, they would use them as a way to get away from the person flirting with them and come over. They aren’t shy; they just don’t like it and often also don’t have the nerve or capacity for it. Plus, also because they are really loyal and share deep connections with some people, and to build that it takes time. They also sometimes think that they are really loyal to a person, but in the end, they have a crush and confuse those things until someone tells them or the person confesses. Similar to Hongyu, who has similar problems. They don’t make the connection why they would betray MC’s loyalty if they flirt with another person that they have a crush on, if MC is their friend. They just don’t want to deal with flirting, and they don’t want to "betray" their "friend".
Same as above, but obviously without them noticing MC, they would still go away from the person flirting.
Min:
They know that they have a crush but try to deny it, so it’s a little different than Hongyu. When they see MC looking sad or down, they would raise an eyebrow and think about going to MC, but then not do it because they are too scared, and they would have to acknowledge their feelings. It would make it real. So they would flirt back with the other person heavily and later regret it, thinking about MC.
They would flirt back and maybe even sleep with the person who is flirting with them, kind of like Miguel in that regard, that they would play along only to forget their crush and regret it later.
I think that this and other questions help you get clearer pictures of the ROs, since they arent in the story yet. you can always send me questions about all the characters or specific characters if you want too :)
(This is how I imagine, planned and wrote the characters, it could be however, that at one point when I am writing, some things change. I mean its a WIP and characters evolve with time and writing and ideas etc.)
Sometimes I ask myself if I give too much away help, hahaha :)

Christmas dinner with your brother, best friend and her older brother sounded nice, but no one said it was a good idea. It could have been a good idea, would have you and Changkyun not have had a fight just one day prior.
Swallowing back a sharp comment towards him the night before spared you a whole lot of explaining to do today, which meant that comment left unsaid spared you the crying you would've gone through. You could lie to yourself all day and night, but everybody knew that deep inside you either wanted to rip his guts out, either yours. No one was safe, either way.
"I'd ask what happened.. but I feel like you won't tell me anyway" Jihyun half asked and you fought a chuckle - Changkyun was around and you had been intentionally depriving him of even hearing you speak as long as he's around you. Yes, being petty is what kept you running.
After five long and exhilarating minutes - which is what took for him to leave - you finally gave her an answer "He was at it again" you answered with half a sigh. "Insecurities?" Jihyun asked and you could see it on her face - she was scared. All you were able to offer as a reply was a small nod before you two started to carry the dishes to the dinner table.
༶•┈┈⛧┈♛ .・゜゜・ ♛┈⛧┈┈•༶
"So, when are you returning to the military camp?" You asked your brother, Minhyuk, and you didn't fail to notice the faint sadness that passed Jihyun's face; but that's a story for another time. "Actually" he said, straightening his back "I'm staying." Again, I would elaborate, but that's a story for another time.
༶•┈┈⛧┈♛ .・゜゜・ ♛┈⛧┈┈•༶
The dinner wasn't bad, but it wasn't what it should have been, either. And you couldn't say that you didn't regret it, because you were done with lying to yourself.
The first one to leave was Minhyuk, quickly followed by your best friend - who gave a deep apology which you didn't will to take; there was no need for it - and, well, after that, no one left.
That's right - Changkyun stayed. You didn't expect him to, not one bit, but he did. And that was fine. That was more than fine, because even though there was a weird atmosphere between you two, you still needed him close.
The first act of closure of the night took moment in the middle of your dishwashing session; he repeatedly pulled up your sweater sleeves so they won't get wet, keeping minimal distance while doing so. The second happened after he offered to dry the dishes for you and the third, well, there was no third - there was a fight.
"Why am I even here? It's not like you deserve it." Changkyun's words echoed through your ears endlessly while you felt your world falling apart. 'not like you deserve it' hit harder than a truck. Your vision got blurry and your ears started ringing but you tuned it out the second your words started coming out of your mouth - without your will. "If there's someone between us who doesn't deserve the other one, it's you. I've sacrificed so much for you.. and got nothing in return." your voice was shaky and maybe you seemed weak and pathetic to him, but in that moment? you couldn't care less. "Nothing in return? All of our moments mean nothing?" he almost yelled and you could feel the upcoming anger in his voice, but that still didn't stop you from giving the following reply. "Exactly, because I don't believe in lies." In that moment, it all went downhill, at maximum speed.
Broken glass, screams, cries - all of that portrayed the scene you and Changkyun were caught up in right now. "I trusted you! I've put my heart into your bare hands and let you have your way with it, only to receive a tormented one back!" you yelled through tears, and immediately noticed him ready to shout back, because how could you call his heart tormented? - but then he paused, his eyes flashing with terror, moments before being filled with sadness. You weren't talking about his heart.. but yours. "I.. didn't.. ____.. don't say that, please." his voice was so shaky it almost blew you off; but right now that didn't matter. Because right there, in that moment.. it was the first time you hated the sound of your name slipping past his lips.
Moments after, both of you calmed down and started tidying up, but he soon started apologising - which you couldn't take.
"Leave. Please, leave, and never come back. For us." you were pleading him endlessly with the same words and all he could do was shake his head "no" while standing outside of your door, snow falling slowly, covering his dark hair and puffy jacket.
As she slowly walked away, you heard a small "pang" in your chest - the sound of your heart breaking. As much as you wanted to stop him, you shouldn't, and you knew it. You finally took a deep breath and turned around to walk inside, but then you heard your voice calling out his name, and realized it just when he turned around, full of hope.
But his face went dark with despair, and just minutes after he left, you heard your own words: "I wish you cared."
