These mid-sized theropods had crests atop their heads instead! Their notched snouts allowed them to hook and grapple their quarry in much the same function as a crocodilian, many small, curved teeth made holding their prey down all the more effective - as well as causing severe lacerations that could quickly bleed out prey if it struggled or escaped being grappled. ❞

As he stares at her, his tail begins to wag behind him. He liked Pomni. She was a very friendly, albeit nervous, employee of the corporation. She also gave him treats and pats! Unlike OTHER employees, who had screamed and freaked out upon first meeting him. ( In hindsight, perhaps biting was not a human greeting -- but he always made sure to be gentle! )

When Pomni offers him the lollipop, those very deadly jaws part only to delicately take it from her. Golden retrievers had gentle mouths after all! Claws close around the lollipop stick, now void of the actual candy that'd been attached due to one sharp crunch once it'd no longer been in his handler's grasp. Swallowed entirely, it wouldn't take long for the candy to meltdown in his faux digestive system.
