not too long ago I asked Nyssa's DM what deities her flock might tend to worship or whether she was gonna leave that up to me (mostly just asking, like, which relevant deities exist and are known in that part of the world at all) and she never responded, which is probably because she overlooked that message, or meant to think about it and respond but then forgot-- but a part of me can't help wondering, based on some of the stuff that's happened in campaign so far, whether she'd forgotten that Nyssa's archfey patron is explicitly not supposed to be a god of any kind

#was that me asking 'hey who do I worship' and her privately going '... wait... 😰'#the flock's mothers learn druidic magic as a divine right #the wodwo just thinks satyrs are neat and shows up once in awhile to hang out or to hand out magic powers for funsies #they're not supposed to be Extremely Important in a grand cosmic sense #nyssa loves and trusts them but she doesn't worship them #they're like the eccentric rich weird uncle that you never hear from until he breezes in bearing elaborate and fanciful gifts #but I dunno the Vibes I've gotten from some of the visions/ experiences Nyssa has had with them have me like 😬#that was beautiful and cool and felt really good in the moment but. hey. are you... positioning them as a god. that felt kinda God Flavored #you do... remember... they're not god flavored. yes?
