Our Museum Fashion Week continues with Nick Martinez! Nick started out at the Museum in 2010 as an intern in the Museum’s Education and Employment Program (MEEP), giving tours for visiting camp groups. Today, as manager of internships and youth community, he runs MEEP as well as the Saltz Internship Program for high school students. Nick is pictured in the Hall of Ocean Life near the tiger shark diorama in the Hall of Ocean Life, where his team of interns show visitors touchable specimens like the whitecheek shark jaw he's holding. Nick sports a shell bracelet, a blue button-down shirt with a shark pattern, and a pink bow-tie that has... more sharks! Photo: © AMNH/ M. OH BOY
Bloom: agreed, she’d pick a dragon. she loves fairytales and magic and she has a fiery personality, it just fits
Musa: a bat. they’re nocturnal, specialize in noise, and while they often appear to be solitary they always go home to their family. also they dont clean their rooms
Aisha: a shark. i wanna say a whitecheek, but possibly a hammerhead. they’re dangerous, fast, and strong, but also graceful and curious, and often misunderstood
Stella: a fennec fox. rare, golden, and super duper cute, what more could a princess ask for in her Royal Fursona?
Tecna: throws everyone a curveball with a cuttlefish. ‘what would an anthropomorphic cuttlefish even look like?’ doesn’t matter. they’re biologically intriguing, remarkably intelligent, and they can camouflage effortlessly into any environment, which she envies
Flora: a unicorn. graceful, shy, delicate, mysterious, and able to commune with nature. also its pink and named something like poppyheart
What are the winx’s fursonas
I got as far as “well Bloom is obviously a dragon” before I stopped. The asker suggested Musa as a moose because apparently moose fursonas often have names starting with ‘Mus’? Idk, I’m not all that familiar.

It is typically encountered along continental shelves and inshore slopes around islands, at depths of around 170 meters. Its range is thought to extend from the Arabian Sea and Persian Gulf to Java, Indonesia, Japan, and Australia.
