Interior Design Ideas: Classic Coastal Home Design

  Hello, everyone! How are you doing today? We have been busy with our kids… my eldest son is graduating and we couldn’t be any prouder! This is a happy month!

Talking about that, I am honestly very happy to be featuring this classic coastal home designed by AGK Design Studio (recently featured here, here & here) on the blog today. I first saw this home a few years ago and it has stayed in my mind since then. I usually only feature homes that are recently finished but I had to open an exception for this home because of its classic details and many inspiring interior design ideas.

New & Improved Kitchen Design Ideas Designed by the talented interior designer, Caitlin Creer of Caitlin Creer Interiors and with cabinetry by C. S. Cabinetry & Design, this newly completed kitchen is full of new and improved design ideas. The color palette, although soothing, is far from being pale or boring. Backplash tile takes a new step with the usage of traditional subway tile mixing with patterned tile and the lighting brings even more personality to a large island for six! A solid Oak drip edge, oiled, prevents the inevitable wear on the paint. Hardwood Hardwood floors are Whitewashed Oak. Fridge Pulls: Artesia Pull Sedona Bronze DLH 18″. Perimeter Cabinet Paint Color Cabinet paint color is “Benjamin Moore OC-17 White Dove”. Pantry Cabinet The cabinets feature custom base. Accent tile is Walker Zanger – Duquesa Jasmine Mezzanotte 4×4. Appliance Garage Inside of the cabinet you will find plenty of space for appliances. Notice the retractable doors. The brass brackets are Wishbone Bracket from Anthropologie. Florida Waterfront Beach House

  Recently designed by Krista + Home Design, this 6000 sqft waterfront beach house is nestled on the Intracoastal Waterway in Tequesta, Florida. The homeowner has teenage boys, so she wanted something comfortable and family friendly with classic touches. The interior designer gave this beach house a clean, coastal design that is inviting and livable for all the family members.

The foyer features grid board and batten paneling and White Oak hardwood floors. Paint color is Snowfall White by Benjamin Moore.

The foyer opens to a classy and neutral dining room.
