you let yourself fall into a routine of work and studying for your finals, ready for summer to come and take away at least some of your worries. your job would be full of tourons ready to blow their vacation money on whatever they could fit in their hands and you’d have more hours to be available.
the pogues had been blowing up your phone since you left that day, begging you to come back so you guys could work it out. all of their numbers were muted until further notice, and jj was blocked. it was for the best, you thought. if they wanted to work it out that bad, they knew where to come find you.
your job was amazing; a boutique on figure eight where both locals and tourists frequented. magnolias was owned by a sweet, older black woman, miss josephine, who grew up in the cut just like you, working as a tailor alongside her mother. her mother long dreamed of having a store of her own to sell her designs, though it never a possibility back then. however, when the opportunity presented itself, miss josephine bought the boutique just for her mother. it was the first black owned business on this side of the island, and the story always brought a smile to everyone’s faces.
“you remind me a lot of my younger self, y’know.” she would always say. it made your heart swell for her to see herself in you, for her to talk about how much potential you had.
you’d known her since you were a girl, always walking by her store and staring into the window on the way home from school. the employees on the other side of the glass wearing handmade uniforms, the fifties aesthetic enchanting to your young mind. the blush pinks and whites caught your eye, the vintage look of the clothes inside tugging at your soul in a way that made you think it was your destiny to work at this store.
so, when the opportunity presented itself, you took it. it was going on your fourth year at the store and you had no plans on leaving anytime soon. magnolia’s was the reason you decided to stay close by for school, choosing something only an hour’s drive away so that you could still work there.
miss josephine had been more of a mother to you than the woman that gave birth to you, at least in recent years. she was more understanding and less judgemental than your mom could ever be. instead of drugs or partying, the store was your escape.
as you tidied up a table that had been picked at by customers throughout the day, the sound of the bell at the door chiming caught your attention.
“hi, welcome to magnolias!” your customer service voice was chipper and sweet as you greeted whoever entered the shop behind you. rnb music played from the speakers above, the soft music filling what would be awkward silence throughout the store.
heavy footsteps approached, hard-bottomed shoes clicking against the wooden floor with each step. the smell hit you first; the expensive cologne giving away your guest before their mouth even opened to speak. you froze mid-fold, fingers stiff around the fabric in your hands.
“so,” rafe said. “you do still work here.”
slowly you turned to meet his face, a million thoughts racing through the fog your brain produced anytime he got too close.
the khaki slacks he wore fit nicely, the material showing off the muscles of his toned thighs. his biceps strained against the sleeves of his shirt as his arms crossed in front of his chest. the man had a golden tan, the late spring sun serving his skin well the past few weeks. it was clear that he’d had a haircut not too long ago, the cropped hair shorter than it was the last time you saw him at the beach. you wanted to reach out and run your hands over it like you used to. you wanted–
jesus, forgive me.
the thought was fleeting as you stopped yourself from letting your mind travel any further.
“what are you doing here?” you tried your best to keep a smile on your face, not wanting to raise an alarm to your coworkers.
rafe tilted his head at you, a lopsided, mischievous grin gracing his lips.
“am i not welcome here?”
no
“i didn’t say that.” the words came out of your mouth faster than you could form them. you didn’t want your boss to overhear you, the woman always lurking around where you couldn’t see her.
His brows raised, waiting patiently to hear your explanation.
“it’s just…you’ve never been in here.” your voice was soft, only loud enough for him to hear. “and this is a women’s clothing store.”
he shrugged. the tall man’s eyes fell from your face, the icy-hot feeling of them taking in your uniform-clad body giving you chills.
“nice dress.”
“it's my uniform.” the response came out harsher than you meant but you didn’t feel the need to correct it. “is there something i can help you with? or are you just here to bother me?”
the music substituted his words for a response as you were met with silence from the blonde, his eyes still traveling the length of your figure. your throat bobbed as you swallowed thickly, the sound of saliva traveling down your esophagus echoing in your head.
rafe took two steps forward and you took one step back, the second one blocked by the table behind you bumping into the back of your legs. his eyes landed back on yours, something hidden behind the familiar blues.
“rafe–”
“why don’t you show me around?” his head swiveled around to glance at the front of the shop where you stood before focusing on the hall in the distance that led deeper into the store. “what’s back there?” he nodded in that direction.
“clothes.” you smiled curtly, trying your best to look like you were giving your best customer service.
some of your coworkers had now started sneaking glances towards you and rafe, a few of them lingering just within earshot to listen in on the conversation.
letting out a breathy chuckle and extending his arm, he directed you away from the table.
“why don’t you show me?”
the two of you stood there in a silent standoff for a few moments, the muscle in your chest pumping blood at a pace you weren’t sure it could handle for much longer. you finally gave in after a long thirty seconds, eyes rolling as you slid past him to walk down through the decorated hallway.
rafe asked you so many questions. every display you passed he would stop to stare at the mannequins like the two of you were at the smithsonian museum, the man treating you like a tour guide and making you explain everything to him.
people were giving you puzzled looks, the sight of rafe cameron sifting through frilly pink skirts leaving them just as confused as you were. you lost track of time at some point; so much so that when you finally glanced at your watch you gasped at what was displayed.
your shift was over.
“well,” you cleared your throat to capture his attention. “it’s time for me to go, so…if you plan on buying anything just let one of my coworkers know.”
rafe didn’t get the chance to protest before you left him on his own in the depths of the store. it was rude, sure, but you had to get away from him.
you felt like you were suffocating.
much to your surprise, and dismay, rafe had not departed after you announced the end of your shift. you nearly stumbled over your shoes when you stepped outside and found him leaning against the side of his truck. he smiled at you, arms uncrossing as he pushed off the vehicle and stepped towards your frozen frame.
“why are you here?”
“you sure ask that a lot, y’know?” his nimble fingers reached up to freshly shaven face. he wore a ghost of a smile as he looked down at you, still dressed in your uniform.
you gripped the sides of your dress, the skirt wrinkling under the force of your hands.
“need a ride?”
that was the absolute last thing you were expecting to come out of his mouth. brows shooting up in surprise, you eyed him suspiciously. your tongue ran over the front of your teeth as you looked him up and down. it was his turn to go under inspection.
“why would i get in a car with you?”
he opened the passenger side door, presumably for you to take a seat inside. you didn’t budge.
“cause you need a ride.”
“i can find a ride…actually,” you loosened the grip on your skirts, palms opening to smooth out the lines left behind. “i would rather walk–”
“get in the car, y/n.” the smile was gone now, his voice sharper as he urged you to take his offer. he was never truly asking if you wanted a ride, he was giving the illusion of a choice.
a scoff rose from your throat. the audacity of him was almost funny to you.
“i’m not getting in a car with-”
there was hardly time to react before he was on you, a stong hand wrapped around your forearm as he roughly guided you to his truck. your instinct to fight against him was smothered by the shock of his manhandling, the sound of a car door slamming snapping you out of your disoriented state.
your jaw dropped as you watched rafe come around the front of the vehicle and enter the drivers side. there was no time to open the door before rafe was speeding off from the front of magnolia’s, the revving of his engine making the seat vibrate beneath you.
“rafe!” you said after you gathered the words from your jumbled up mind. “you can’t do that! that’s like…th-that’s kidnapping!”
the older man laughed dryly, head thrown back dramatically before landing back on the road.
“i’m giving you a ride home-”
“you manhandled me!” you interrupted. was he being serious? “and i said ‘no.’ that’s the definition of kidnapping.”
he cooly looked at you, the expression on his face completely different from the one he had just a few minutes ago when he forced you into his car.
“you’re being dramatic.”
exasperation was all you felt, the emotion filling you the brim as you stared at him with wide eyes. you pulled out your phone and clicked on a green icon, fingers ready to type out three numbers that would likely do you no good, but it was worth the try.
“i’m calling the police.”
before you could press enter the device was snatched from your hands. you watched rafe shove it into his pocket furthest from you, head shaking side to side as he denied you any contact to the outside world for the remainder of your time with him.
“no you’re not.” he stopped at a red light and took the opportunity to look at you once again. his eyes were piercing and sparked a feeling of intimidation in the deepest pit of your stomach. “we’re gonna talk.”
you knew that you guys would have to have a conversation eventually, you just never thought it would be so soon.
honestly, you hoped that you could avoid it at all costs, but that wasn’t realistic. kildare was a small island and you were bound to run into each other eventually. it was surprising that you were able to circumvent him for as long as you did, but you knew there was always a risk stepping into figure eight. seeing him at the beach was unexpected, and you never thought that he would show up at your job like that.
you folded your arms across your body snugly, still feeling unsure about being in such close proximity to him.
“you, uh, y-you really did me wrong, y/n.” it was obvious that the thought of what transpired all those months ago still angered him deep down, but he held on to whatever was bubbling up inside of him.
you gulped, afraid of what he would say next.
“it’s hard for me to–to trust people…you know that.” rafe continued, head turning briefly to confirm he had your ear. “i trusted you.” he sniffed instinctively, fingers coming up to wipe his nostrils. it had become a habit of his; even after giving up the blow.
you hummed in response, unsure of what to say.
“i trusted you and y-you…you broke that. you broke my trust for those pogues–”
“those pogues are my friends.” your eyes were sharp as razor blades as you stared him down from your place in the car. “i’m a pogue, rafe.”
“see–i’m trying…i-i’m trying to talk to you and you’re just..you’re just snapping at me.” he said. your lip curled up in disgust but you went quiet once again, reluctantly allowing him to finish.
rafe took a long pause before he continued his speech, jaw ticking in annoyance from you reminding him of your social status.
you hated how he talked about pogues, especially since you were one yourself. he could pretend you were different as much as he wanted, but you both knew the truth.
“but i can admit that i’ve done you wrong, too.” the words sounded painful, but he got them all out without stopping or stuttering. “i can admit that i wasn’t there for you when i should’ve been, so it’s my fault that this happened in the first place. at least–a little bit.”
you tore your eyes away from the window to face him, the flesh of your bottom lip stuck between your teeth as you worried it. you couldn’t believe what you were hearing.
this was the most accountability he’s ever taken in the time that you’ve known him–it was the only time he’s ever taken accountability, actually.
“i’m trying to be better–i want to be better.” rafe looked at you and you could see that he was being genuine. “so–so you don’t have to forgive me; not right now. but i…i forgive you.”
still unsure of what to say to him, you blinked. you released your bottom lip from the wrath of your teeth, flesh swollen and pink from the abuse.
rafe’s eyes flicked down to your mouth, drawing in a deep breath before forcing himself to keep them on the road. your own gaze followed his and you were shocked to see your house at the end of the cul-de-sac, rafe slowing to a stop outside of it. your mother was home, her white sedan parked in the gravel driveway.
“i was serious when i said you can always come back.” he turned off the car, letting the engine die before turning his body to face you fully. he looked strangely soft, something he rarely let himself be around you in the later years of your crumbling relationship.
“what is there to come back to, rafe?” you finally spoke after letting him sit in silence for a few minutes. the sun was beginning to set behind your hours, the golden light dimmed by the tinted windows of rafe’s truck. still it reflected into the man’s eyes, the color enhanced by the star’s shine.
he blinked at you, long lashes brushing against the tops of his cheeks. you sighed and reached a hand up to scratch at the nape of your neck.
“my friends would hate me. i can’t just ignore the stuff you’ve done to them.”
“what have they ever done for you?”
“they were there for me when you weren’t rafe!” you snapped at him. “you were never there when i needed you.”
he palmed over his buzzed hair frustratedly, head shaking side to side in…confusion? denial? you weren’t sure.
“and i’m sorry for that, really, i am. i’m here now, though. alright?” rafe extended an arm over the divider to place a hand on yours, his fingers squeezing in a way that was supposed to be reassuring.
you released a heavy breath from your nose, head leaning back against the window as you stared at your ex-boyfriend across from you. you didn’t remove your hand from his; the warmth was comforting in a way that made you feel guilty.
“where are they anyway? your ‘friends’?”
“we aren’t talking right now,” your voice was barely audible. “not that it’s any of your business…”
he tsked at you, disapproval clear from his demeanor.
you moved to open the car door, free hand pulling on the handle. rafe held you back with the hand still in his grip. his eyes were deep and serious as they swallowed you whole.
“you still have my number?” you nodded hesitantly, not wishing to admit it. his head moved up in down in tandem with yours. “i’ll always pick up the phone. you come to my house; i’ll always open the door. okay?”
slowly he released your hand, taking your silence as understanding.
you watched from your porch as the dark truck pulled off from your home, the vehicle turning into a dot the further away it got. the phone in the pocket of your dress was heavy with the weight of a ten-digit number that had been collecting dust for almost a year. it weighed heavy with the unanswered messages of the friends that you hadn’t spoken to in weeks.

Chapter Twenty-Three
The girls woke early and ordered room service. They would enjoy this as long as possible. It was nice being served like this. They finished eating and showered and started to get ready when there was a knock on the door. Chloe took off her towel, put on her robe and went to the door. She opened the door and the kitchen service was there to pick up the tray.
“Will that be all ma’am?” The man asked.
“Yes. No wait! Do you have a map of the shops around here?” Chloe asked.
“If you go to the desk you will find one there ma’am.” He answered.
“Thank you,” they both told him and he left.
With that Beth jumped up and they both ran to find clothes to wear. Chloe wore some casual blue slacks with a beige silk shirt that had flutter sleeves. Beth turned to her and said,
“I’m wearing jeans and sneakers. We’ll being walking a lot today.”
“You’re right, I better change.” Chloe said.
She ran to suitcase and pulled out something else. She took her dress stuff off and put on jeans and a red t-shirt that read “don’t hate me because I’m beautiful.” Then she threw on her sneakers and pinned up her hair.
“This beautiful woman is ready to go do some shopping!” She said laughing.
“Well let’s go girl,” said Beth.
They got a map of downtown from the desk clerk. There were so many cute little shops all the streets of Lake Morgan and the girls wanted to see them all. They stopped at a clothing boutique that had cute clothes. Beth found some bleach colored Jean shorts and a crop top that was off the shoulder, light blue and some lace. She also found a short mini skirt that was red and had just one strap. She had to try that too.
Meanwhile, Chloe was having trouble picking something. She liked too much. She decided to pick a couple things and see how they fit. The first was elastic collared, short sleeved sun dress that was yellow. It had white daisies on it. The second was jeans that had rose buds embroidered on the pant leg part way. She paired it with a rose colored peach skin top. She loved peach skin, it’s soft like silk. The girls went to try on their clothes and came out to model for each other. The problem was they thought they looked good in both of them. Beth took all the clothes to the till.
“What are you doing,” Chloe asked. “I need to watch my pennies with the wedding.”
Beth looked at her, “Consider it a wedding gift from me. I’m paying for it.” She said.
“Beth, you don’t need to do that,” Chloe exclaimed.
“I’ve been saving up so I could. Let me do this.” Beth said as she handed the cashier the money.
“Now where to next?” Beth asked.
“How about the candle shop?” Chloe said. “It always smells so heavenly in there.”
They walked a few stores down when Chloe thought she saw Michael car.
“Oh no! That can’t be, he promised. I’m just seeing things, lets go.” she said, still feeling uneasy.
Why should she feel uneasy that her fiancé is here? Strange. They got to the candle shop and to Chloe it was like a candy store! She loved candles! She was always buying and burning new ones. The house was full of them.
“Look at them all,” said Chloe as her eyes lit up . “I limit myself to two aisles and one candle per aisle.”
“Okay, Beth said, “which aisle first?” She asked.
“That one. The candles look beautiful.” She said.
They walked up and the aisle is. It had candles that were tropical flowers of every kind, smells of the beach, smells of beach air, and tropical fruit. Chloe must have looked at every candle 4-5 times before she narrowed it to bird of paradise and pomegranate. She smelled them both a couple more times and closed her eyes.
“Pomegranate,” she said. “That’s the one”.
All Beth could think was they had another aisle with process again. So they walked to the next aisle. This was just your ordinary floral candles. Surely this would be easy. Nope. She smelled, lilac, gardenia, magnolia, lavender, rose, jasmine and dozens more. And she smelled them several times and got down to two again. It was either lavender or lilac. She liked them both. In the end she took the lavender for it calming effects. By now the girls were getting hungry they took so long in the clothing and candle shop its was lunch time.
“Let’s hit one more store,” said Beth.
“Okay, which one?”
“I just want to see what kind of yarn the store here carry’s for my crocheting.” she replied.
They looked around and soon Chloe was walking around on her own. She found a $1 bin at the front of the store by a wind She couldn’t resist a bargain. It had all types of yarn in there in a multitude of colors. She picked out a couple skeins of yarn. Beth was trying to teach her to crochet, and bless her she sure had patience. Chloe wasn’t picking up some of it. But she sure was trying awful hard. She picked up some puzzles. Edith and Bob liked doing puzzles in the evenings. At the bottom of the bun she found something called a diamond painting. Well, she had never tried that but it looked easy enough. It was one craft she couldn’t possibly mess up. Beth came over about the time Chloe was paying for all her things.
“Are you ready?” Beth asked, “I am so tired. I’m ready for a glass of wine and room service? “She said laughing.
“Sounds good. Let’s go.” Chloe replied.
“Wait, did you get your yarn?” She asked Beth.
“Yep, sure did. They have great yarn here. Have to come here more often.”
They arrived back at the hotel and before they got in the elevator the clerk caught them.
“Excuse me Miss Chloe, you have a message that was left for you. The lady was in such a hurry to talk to you she has come back and has waited for you in the lounge. If you would like I can send her to your room. With an escort of course. For safety reasons, you not knowing her and all.”
“Thank you very much,”
They got on the elevator and wondered who wanted to talk to them.
Hurry and open it,” Beth said.
“You’re like a chlid, I swear,” Chloe said as they both laughed.
The elevator opened and they went to their suite. Beth jumped on the bed.
“Open it.”
Chloe opened it and got quiet. She put it down on the table.
Beth ran over and picked it up and read it.
“I think you need to talk to her, give her one more time to warn you of what’s coming.”
“Nothing is coming.” Chloe yelled
“Then don’t be afraid to listen to her.” Beth yelled back.
“Fine, I’ll talk to her.” There was a knock at the door. Beth went and answered it.
“Hello, make I speak with Chloe please,” she spoke quietly.
“I’m curious as to why you’re here though,” Chloe replied.
Chloe was not happy about this and she would have to keep it from Michael or or he would lose it. He couldn’t stand that woman.

The Shocking Revelation Of White Magnolia | White Magnolia
The aboriginal night of protests adjoin badge atrocity that angry agitated in city Dallas, the final Friday in May that larboard windows burst and businesses looted, Xxavier Edward Carter’s allotment Start Livin’ in the New Apple debuted in the “Windows” exhibition at the Nasher Sculpture Center.
As a Atramentous artist, Carter faced an actual reframing—set off by the burst window adjoining to the cellophane antechamber amplitude in which his assignment was to be visible. (The one-week run has been continued to this Wednesday, June 10.)
Carter presents the bits of accustomed life, but now effectively charged—almost radioactive.
What hangs in able abeyance is a multimedia collage that descends from the beam and collects the flotsam and jetsam of life. Pieced calm are receipts from travel; printed spreadsheets; adhesive notes; institutionally issued checks; activity admission stubs; adopted currency; bus routes and maps. These assemblages are, Carter would say, a artefact of traveling frequently and of not accepting a home base. The contempo SMU alum apprentice gathers fodder on trips for fellowships or collaborations, alike bottomward to the ephemera of leaflets handed to him in the street. Back he gets aback to a abode that’s stable, he area and assembles what becomes a palimpsest of meaning.
All the elements are outlined, above out, fatigued over in ebony-black archival ink. The actuation comes from his printmaking canicule as an undergraduate at Stanford University, area he becoming his BFA. And here, the analogue and blacking out assume alike added poignant. “So abundant advice can be acclimated adjoin you,” he says. But the astriction amid aggressiveness and vulnerability

FUN FACTS ABOUT HER
She’s impatient, which stems from her being a very prompt person. If she expects something within a certain amount of time, she’ll be on the person to get it to her by then or will throw more or less of a fit. It’s a terrible way to be, especially now that she’s an adult, but she’s trying to shake herself out of it.
Ever since she was a little girl, Libby had a taste for theatrics. She was always spinning stories and telling them in an over-dramatic way. Her knack for exaggerating things often got her called a drama queen, but she didn’t mind. In her head, it was better than being boring. She was involved in theater when she was in school and played the lead once.
If she’s not working on a project then she’s most likely at home and just chilling in her room. She’s a homebody, so she’s usually laying on her bed with Fleetwood Mac in the background. You can also find her rummaging through things at flea markets or thrift stores. She likes hanging out and volunteering at animal shelters, too.
She naturally helps anyone that’s in need. She listens and makes sure people feel heard. Despite however many projects she is working on or how many things she’s worried about, if a friend needs her, she is able to turn off everything else and give them her full attention. And without a doubt, she puts everyone else before herself – almost to a fault. Or to a fault, you decide. It doesn’t matter if you’re her best friend or a stranger. Libby takes it upon herself to take care of everyone around her before even starting to think about what she needs. Her mom, Daisy, has always said she’s been that way.
When it comes to packing for a trip, Libby has a tendency to overpack. It isn’t out of a superfluous nature, either. Simply, her mind will wander and rationalize each and every item that gets put into her suitcase – even if the situation imagined is highly unlikely. “You never know,” she’ll say.
If we’re being honest, she’s not too fussed about how she looks. She always has soft and simple makeup, usually going for a more natural look. Libby’s hair is typically kept about past shoulder length and is blonde, as seen here. She’s been a blonde since high school. Her natural hair color is brown. she loves to play with braids, headbands, and updos. She has recently chopped her hair and added some bangs. However, she can be a bit insecure so she’ll hide behind the security blanket that is her hair. for her style, even when she was young, she knew she loved wearing flowers and dresses, so her outfits mostly consists of such. She’s just not one to spend an hour doing her makeup or hair, just because it takes up too much of her time.
In theory, Libby wants to be the type of person that’s friends with everyone. In reality, that’s a lot more difficult than it seems. Because of her past, she’s guarded and doesn’t let people in easily, so while she can be nice to someone she just met, she’s going to hold everyone at arm’s length unless they can worm their way into her heart. I’d like to think she has a tight knit group of friends that are like her ride or die and she’s lucky they put up with her, but other than that, I’m going to say there’s not a lot of close friends but she’d definitely have a lot of acquaintances and she’d make an effort to get to know people because she’s curious. Or just nosy, but same thing.
PLOTTING FOR LIBBY!
An approximate timeline for Libby!
From birth to age 23: spent her life in Thomasville, Georgia
From 23 to 26: Boston, Massachusetts - attended MASSArt
From age 26 to present: Merrock, Maine
All of the friends. She has been in Merrock for years now and Libby likes being surrounded by good company. For that reason, she’s done a fairly good job with making herself a collection of friends since she got here. Libby’s nothing short of a handful, but she’s an honest sort with a pretty big heart who enjoys making others happy (or at least getting them to laugh). She can be everywhere at once when it comes to the company that she keeps, and because of that she probably doesn’t have many particularly close friends, but instead a large pool of friends or at least people she enjoys spending her time with (whether they feel the same about her or not).
While she can sometimes be a tad too intrusive, she rarely shares much about herself that she considers too 'heavy’. The kind of person that would suggest waving away issues instead of confronting them (or just jumping in headfirst without much thought), she’s probably not the best person to go to for solid advice but she does a good enough job of making those she cares about feel better, even if it’s only for a little while.
Surprisingly not that big on the party scene, but she does frequent such spaces since she likes having the company around, so she’s probably gathered a fair amount of party friends during her stay here.
Beware of Libby when she’s in a mood. She’s prone to jealousy, and is prickly when she feels that her freedom is being impeded upon. She hates to be told what to do and so anyone who tries will be met with her wicked temper. She can be quite aggressive and stubborn, which makes her a nightmare during arguments. She doesn’t know when to give up.
Complicated doesn’t even begin to cut what the love department has become for her. Outside of going on dates here and there and maybe one or two short-lived flings, Libby hasn’t really had too much of a love life since she moved to Merrock. While she’s always loved Lincoln, they’ve been separated for years now. She’d been hoping that Lincoln would follow her to Merrock to work out their differences. Lincoln’s her childhood love and high school sweetheart. They didn’t get together until high school, but he was her first kiss (a dare when she was eight) and pretty much first everything – including heartbreak. Truth is, she left him because they had too many issues and she pretty much gave up on them. Her need to leave Thomasville took over and he seemed to not want to leave their little town. She hasn’t had the heart to sign divorce papers, even though she knows she should. Now she’s planning on settling down again, but doesn’t know if it’ll be with her first love or someone new.
WANTED CONNECTIONS
IF YOU GO DOWN, I’M GOING’ DOWN TOO! - I would love for Libby to have a ride or die best friend in Merrock. Someone who she can confide in, who knows her deepest secrets, and her past. - LIVVY HARTMAN
YOU’RE DRUNK, GO HOME! - Became friends after a creep at the bar tried to make a move on one of them. They really didn’t get along before then for whatever reason, but became closer after that encounter.
YOUNGER SIBLING TYPE FRIENDSHIP - Basically a younger sibling to Libby. Someone who Libby is very protective of, and treats them as if they are family even if they aren’t.
WORKOUT BUDS - Libby is a huge fan of cycling and pilates. It helps her ease her mind if she’s had a busy week or if she’s been feeling her grief a little too much.
BAD BLOOD - For whatever reason, they absolutely cannot stand each other.
GOOD INFLUENCE - Someone that is a positive asset to her life. someone who helps her make the right decisions.
BAD INFLUENCE - They can convince her to do make poor decisions, and let loose a little too much, but they care for each other.
IN DISTRESS - They live right down the road from each other and whenever they need something, they’ll call each other.
YIN-YANG - They’re each other’s total opposite but they encourage and balance each other out.
LOVE/HATE - They’re friends who get along, usually. Sometimes they’ll yell and fight but they typically always make up.
FLIRTATIONSHIP - They flirt a lot and maybe something could happen between them, but above all else, they really care for each other.
HOOKUP - While they get on just fine, they do spend an awful lot of time together at night and are two attractive people who can get bored.
EXES WHO ENDED ON BAD TERMS - They dated or were at least seeing each other at one point in time, but their relationship ended awfully because of something. Maybe because they found out Libby was still legally married? Who knows, we could always plot something out!
HER ESTRANGED HUSBAND, LINCOLN SCOTT - So, I’m definitely going to create a wanted connection for this once I get more settled in, but I’d really like to request Libby’s estranged husband. They were high school sweethearts who became teen parents. I’m sure there were periods of time where they were broken up or on a break (cue Ross Gellar screaming) that she canoodled with some other people, and now that they’ve been separated for quite some time, no doubt there has been some hookups and flings. She still loves her husband and wants to make it work, but she’s also a realist and knows that it might not happen. She’s at the stage where she needs to figure out if she needs to reach out to him or just move on from him completely.

Charlotte: so how’s it feeling being out for a little bit?
Marisol: better than I thought; having Sam here helps too *they both laugh*
Charlotte: well, I’m glad to be able to help. Oliver’s worried about you.
Marisol: he shouldn’t be. I’m okay... he needs to stress less. Id hate to see him... I won’t say it here but.
Charlotte: I know. I worry about that too, but I think he has too much to loose this time...now! let me try and help you find something for your pageant. I’m not as fashion forward as you but it should be fun!
Marisol: you first... you should try that little black and white number on!
Charlotte: no I couldn’t!!
Marisol: you can!!
*moments later*
Marisol: well!?
Charlotte: I kind of love it! I don’t think I’ve ever worn something so...:. Fancy!!
Marisol: how much do you love it?
Charlotte: *with a slightly puzzled look* why
Marisol: because I know that sexy open back will make Oli go craaaazyyy for you. Well I mean he already is.
Charlotte: I couldn’t afford something like this?
Marisol: well first of all you’re going to be a Princess after you marry , and we’re here to shop. Grab it!!
Charlotte: I..I..
Marisol: girl!!*laughs*
Marisol: well I think this was successful! Now we need to find a reason for you to wear that dress.
Cashier: that will be 83,000 simlonians please.
Charlotte:*chokes* oh my god..
Marisol: don’t worry about it! I got an advance for the runway show.
Charlotte: I just...that’s so much...

Say Yes to the Perfect Wedding Dress in Florida: Affordable Options for Every Bride
Florida, the Sunshine State, is known for its beautiful beaches, vibrant culture, and stunning wedding destinations. It's no wonder that many couples choose to tie the knot in this picturesque state. And one of the most important aspects of any wedding is the bride's dress. Finding the perfect wedding dress can be a daunting task, but in Florida, you can find your dream dress at an affordable price. Let's explore some of the best options for wedding dresses in Florida with the best prices.
1. Bridal Boutiques in Miami
Miami, the cultural hub of Florida, is home to some of the best bridal boutiques in the state. These boutiques offer a wide range of designer wedding dresses at competitive prices. From classic and elegant to modern and trendy, you can find a variety of styles to choose from. Some popular bridal boutiques in Miami are Chic Parisien, J. del Olmo Bridal Gallery, and La Vie en Blanc.
2. Sample Sales in Orlando
Orlando, the theme park capital of the world, is also a great place for finding affordable wedding dresses. Many bridal boutiques in Orlando hold sample sales where you can find designer dresses at discounted prices. These sample sales are a great way to snag a high-end wedding dress without breaking the bank. Some popular bridal boutiques in Orlando that offer sample sales are Kleinfeld Bridal, Calvet Couture Bridal, and Something New Bridal Boutique.
3. Online Retailers
With the rise of online shopping, brides can now find their dream wedding dress at the click of a button. Online retailers like Azazie, BHLDN, and David's Bridal offer a wide range of wedding dresses at affordable prices. These retailers also offer customization options, so you can get a dress that fits you perfectly. Plus, most online retailers have a try-at-home option, where you can order a few dresses to try on in the comfort of your own home.
4. Consignment Shops
Consignment shops are a treasure trove for budget-conscious brides. These shops offer gently used wedding dresses at a fraction of the original price. You can find designer dresses that have only been worn once, and some shops even offer alterations to ensure a perfect fit. Some popular consignment shops in Florida are The White Magnolia Bridal Collection, A Bridal Boutique, and The Dressing Room.
5. Department Stores
If you're on a tight budget, don't overlook department stores when searching for your wedding dress. Stores like Nordstrom, Macy's, and Bloomingdale's have a bridal section where you can find affordable wedding dresses. These dresses may not be designer, but they are still beautiful and can be a great option for brides on a budget. Plus, these stores often have sales and promotions that can help you save even more.
6. Trunk Shows
Trunk shows are events where a designer showcases their latest collection at a bridal boutique. These shows offer brides the opportunity to try on and purchase dresses from the designer's newest collection. Trunk shows often offer discounts and promotions, making it a great way to get a designer dress at a lower price. Many bridal boutiques in Florida host trunk shows throughout the year, so keep an eye out for upcoming events.
7. Rental Services
Renting a wedding dress is a great option for brides who don't want to spend a fortune on a dress they will only wear once. Renting a dress can save you hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars. Plus, you don't have to worry about storing or preserving the dress after the wedding. Some popular rental services in Florida are Rent the Runway, Vow'd, and Borrowing Magnolia.
In conclusion, finding the perfect wedding dress in Florida doesn't have to break the bank. With the options mentioned above, you can find a beautiful dress at an affordable price. Whether you choose to shop at a boutique, online, or rent a dress, there are plenty of options for every budget. Remember, the most important thing is to find a dress that makes you feel confident and beautiful on your special day. Happy shopping, and congratulations on your upcoming wedding!
