i have truly never related to anything less than the like ‘feeling like a predator due to being a girl who liked girls in middle school/high school’ trope that people on here talk about so much. it was always so ‘cool’ feeling — albeit in a way where i was casually broodingly confident no one else on earth felt this way but me — how i liked boys but in the way gay boys liked boys, or liked girls but the way straight girls liked boys, so obviously it was also cool how i liked girls in the way a straight boy liked girls. like obviously these 3 were all wayyyy cooler than liking boys the way straight girls liked boys right? that’s like too easy and unimaginative.

and i vaguely remember thinking it was fucked up and super hypocritical when i heard a joke about how if girls knew how boys thought about them they’d be disgusted or freaked out and feel predated-upon — i was completely sure i knew perfectly well how boys thought about me, bc i thought about boys like that too.

AND obviously i ‘could’ think about girls like a straight boy too — ‘obviously’ ‘all’ girls ‘can’ think about other girls like that too right, they just sorta uh…..don’t hmmm waste a lot time thinking about that, if they’re straight like me >_o. because 99% of all ppl either just have better time management than me, or are just less imaginative than me. or both. >_o. just another fun but ultimately useless way i use my big brain to become remarkably good for a straight girl at getting into a straight boy character’s head and get compliments on my fanfic characterization instead of using it to become valedictorian.
