I can't lie, I'm obsessed with your daniel ricciardo: team principal fic so I'd like to hear what's to come please? :3 probably cheating by asking about 2 fics in one but is the inception one Maxiel as well? Because oh boy I would love to hear about it too...
I'm sorry, you write so well I just want to hear about all of them now :D
daniel team principal au:
Max nods slowly, blinking a couple times as he searches for what to say. Daniel reaches across the table with his palm up and Max slides his hand in without hesitation.
Easily, one might say.
“I think maybe we have already gone through all the difficult bits so we deserve the easy things now,” Max says simply.
inception au:
When Max finds Daniel he’s lounging on a beach chair, wearing some god awful designer patterned silk set, sunglasses low on his nose, nursing a beer, rolling his three sided die in between his fingers.
And he’s got that fucking moustache again.
the interlude/summer break chapter is basically just max and daniel sitting down being like whatever shit we’ve held in to each other over the past couple of years needs to come out because i think they both know they’re probably exiting summer break in a different type of relationship.
like they probably know they love each other but this is the final hurdle to cross that bridge so they don’t enter a relationship with ghosts that pop back up halfway through!
inception au my (not so secret now) beloved child that mainly exists in my head… it’s basically if arthur and eames were together and the main focus of the movie but with maxiel. it’s a very loose interpretation of the movie, like the characters aren’t 1 to 1 but the whole dreaming stuff is roughly the same. no dead wives or estranged children they do it for the money and for the fact if they pull this off toto or whoever the client is will wipe their ledgers clean.
sebastian and lewis run the whole thing, and they recruit charles (the ariadne) as the architect etc. he’s a little bit infatuated with sebastian and daniel laughs his ass off when he watches charles realise that lewis is seb’s husband. whoops. alex and george are also there, alex as the chemist and george as the money.
maxiel are in a ??? relationship, like a friends with benefits that hate each other but also flirt with each other until their dying breath but also only ever fuck with each other. so dating but without ever saying the word dating otherwise both of them will run. max is the arthur, daniel the eames and their totems match—daniel has a 3 sided die and max has a poker chip with 33 white squares on the outer ring (because i’m annoying like that)
the actual inceptioning itself is something ridiculous like toto hiring them to intercept into christian or zak’s mind to get them to sign one of the mercedes drivers because toto doesn’t wanna fire them (because 💰) so he thinks paying this group to perform a complicated and never done before inception is easier… yeah rich people are weird but anyways

New World Order - Lloyd Hansen x OFC
Chapter 2
Lilly let out a sigh as she entered her simple hotel room, sinking onto the bed. The meeting with Sophie had been nice, but now all she wanted was a soothing shower and to relax, reliving the moments she shared with Lloyd in her mind. She couldn't shake off the fear that she might never see him again, even though they hadn't discussed it. The way they conversed made her imagine endless strolls together through picturesque places.
With a sense of anticipation, she reached for her purse and retrieved the gift bag Lloyd had given her. Expecting to find a sculpture, since it’s a heavy package, she carefully unwrapped the bubble wrap. The sculpture inside, however, surprised her—it depicted a woman kissing her own shoulder. The tag revealed its title: 'Love for Oneself' by Charles Cumberworth, dated 1829.
The thoughtful gift reminded Lilly of her conversation with Lloyd about finally living life on her terms. It felt like he had listened to her unspoken thoughts. Taking out her phone and the card he had given her, she composed a text message. "Safe in the hotel. The gift is amazing, thank you. Lilly."
Meanwhile, Lloyd sat in his hotel room, sipping whisky as he relaxed in the room's imposing Eames Lounge Chair. The sound of his phone's notification caught his attention, and he retrieved it from his pocket. A smile lit up his face as he read Lilly's message. Quickly typing a reply, he sent, "Are you tired?"
Lilly glanced at his response and felt a flutter in her chest. "A bit... I need a shower and some rest, I guess," she admitted.
"Is dinner with me out of the question?" Lloyd inquired, his text carrying a hint of anticipation.
"No," Lilly replied, her heart rate increasing.
"I don't want to tire you out. We can meet at your hotel's restaurant if you prefer," Lloyd suggested.
"Yeah, that would be nice," Lilly agreed, excitement tingling in her veins and her thoughts racing as she stood to take a shower. She couldn't deny the flutter of excitement mixed with apprehension that danced in her stomach. Part of her felt a bit overwhelmed by the sudden turn of events, going from a chance encounter at the Louvre to a dinner date with a captivating stranger.
As she stood in front of the mirror, Lilly debated what to wear. She wanted to strike the right balance between casual elegance and not trying too hard. Finally settling on a white boho dress that accentuated her features without being too revealing, she styled her hair in loose waves and added a touch of makeup to enhance her natural beauty.
While she got ready, her mind wandered to Lloyd. She couldn't shake off the intrigue he sparked in her—the way he spoke, his confident demeanor, and the mysterious aura that surrounded him. Despite her nerves, Lilly couldn't deny the thrill of going out with someone who seemed to embody adventure and intrigue.
Meanwhile, in his luxurious hotel room, Lloyd took his time preparing for the evening. He wasn't one to rush, especially when it came to moments like these. He wanted everything to be just right, knowing that tonight could be the start of something intriguing with Lilly.
As he dressed in that exuded sophistication, Lloyd's mind wandered to Lilly. He found himself drawn to her sweetness, her genuine curiosity about life, and the way she blushed at his playful remarks. There was something refreshing about her, something that made him want to unravel the layers and discover more.
Deep down, Lloyd knew he wasn't the typical romantic partner. His life was often filled with danger and unpredictability, but there was a part of him that yearned for a connection, even if just for one night. He wanted to see where this evening would lead, to explore the possibilities that sparked between them at the museum.
With a final glance in the mirror, Lloyd adjusted his appearance, ensuring every detail was impeccable. He couldn't deny the anticipation building within him. Tonight, he decided, would be a night to remember, for both of them.
Lilly is still in her room, putting on her shoes when there's a knock at the door. Lloyd had mentioned he would be at the hotel at eight, so she still has ten minutes to spare. Expecting to find the cleaning lady, she is surprised when she opens the door and finds the handsome man standing there.
"Hey! Hello..." she stammers, caught off guard by his early arrival.
"You look amazing," Lloyd says, his eyes scanning her from top to toe appreciatively.
She smiles in return. "You look very good too. I didn't think you would come up here... the room is a mess, I'm sorry."
"It's okay," he reassures her. "I came a bit earlier and couldn't wait to see you. But I can wait downstairs, it's fine."
"Oh, nonsense, please, just don't mind the mess. I didn't have time to clean up properly," Lilly insists, gesturing for him to come in. Lloyd steps into the room, glancing around casually. "I like a bit of chaos. Makes things interesting," he comments with a charming smile.
Lilly smiles back, feeling a rush of nervous energy mixed with excitement. "I'll just be a minute, then we can go."
"Take your time," Lloyd says, settling into a chair by the window. As Lilly disappears into the bathroom, he takes out his phone, typing a quick message for one of his men.
"I hope you don't mind a change of plans. The restaurant downstairs looks a bit crowded. How about we try a quieter place? I know just the spot."
He sends the message and leans back, his mind already mapping out the evening's itinerary. This deviation from the original plan is intentional, a subtle move to gauge Lilly's adaptability and to create a more intimate setting for their first dinner together.
“Is it close to here?” Lilly says from the bathroom.
Lloyd hears Lilly's voice and replies, "It's not too far, but don't worry, I know you must be tired. I've arranged for a car to take us there." Lilly asks, "Is this outfit alright? I can change..."
Lloyd reassures her, "Don't you dare change, gorgeous. You look amazing."
"Thanks. You look very good, too... I’m ready if you are?" she responds.
"Ok, let's go then," Lloyd agrees.
They head to the elevator, where Lloyd compliments Lilly, saying she smells delicious, which makes her blush.
After leaving the elevator, they pass by the restaurant, and Lilly notices that it's almost empty, with only 2 or 3 tables occupied. However, she doesn't pay much attention to it and continues following Lloyd to the hotel's entrance. As they step outside, he nods to an older man who quickly opens the door of a big SUV for them to enter.
"So, what are the plans for tomorrow?" Lloyd asks as they settle into the car.
"Monet! I'll go see his house, the gardens, and his tomb..."
"So you'll be out all day?" Lloyd inquires.
"I think so, at least until 6 pm I guess," she replies.
"I'm glad you'll have a good day. I'll be working, but if you're free at night, we can meet again," Lloyd suggests.
"Yeah, that would be nice. Will you tell me where we're going now?" Lilly asks curiously. "Do you have something against boats?" Lloyd asks casually as they enter the elevator.
"No, not at all," Lilly replies, a hint of curiosity in her voice.
"Then we'll have dinner at the Seine river," Lloyd announces with a smile.
"Really?" Lilly's eyes light up with excitement at the unexpected suggestion.
"It's a beautiful spot. I thought we could finish the day with something special," Lloyd explains, his tone warm and inviting. The SUV glides smoothly through the Parisian streets, heading towards the Seine river where a delightful dinner awaits. As they arrive and step out, Lloyd offers his hand for Lilly to hold. When she does, he smiles warmly and kisses her forehead.
After enjoying dinner, filled with conversation and laughter, Lloyd signals for champagne from the waiter. As the champagne arrives, he stands up, taking Lilly's hand and leading her to a private area.
Raising his glass, Lloyd makes a toast, "Cheers to you, beautiful girl."
"Not to us?" Lilly whispers, a hint of playfulness in her tone.
"If you want it to be 'us'..." Lloyd's words trail off, his eyes locking with hers.
"Oh my god, am I being childish? Sorry..." Lilly blushes slightly, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness.
"Hey, come here," Lloyd says softly, sliding a hand around her waist and pulling her closer. "Can I kiss you, gorgeous?"
"Yes," Lilly replies, her heart fluttering with anticipation.
Their lips meet in a gentle yet passionate kiss. Lilly's hand glides over Lloyd's chest through his shirt, and he pulls her closer.
”I knew you would taste delicious" he says with his lips still touching hers. “My heart is racing a bit too fast…” she says, Lloyd's playful chuckle fills the quiet space between them and he gives her a peck on the lips, making Lilly playfully protest, "Don’t laugh, it’s your fault!"
With a soft smile, Lloyd teases back, "I’m sorry, little starlight, I can’t be blamed for this. You made me lose a day of work only to leave me, and I’m not complaining."
Curious, Lilly questions, "How is that my fault?"
Leaning in closer, their eyes locked in a gentle dance of emotions, Lloyd confides, "I went to the Louvre for work, but then I saw you…" His voice trails off, a hint of admiration and fondness lingering in his words.
As they share this moment, the evening air carries a sense of affection, and Lilly's heart beats even faster.
"Would you come to my hotel?" Lloyd's voice was a soft murmur against the evening breeze.
"I can’t. I need to get up early tomorrow and I’ll have to change and grab my things," Lilly replied, her tone tinged with a hint of regret.
"Are you trying to drive me crazy?" Lloyd teased, a playful smile dancing in his eyes.
"Well, it wasn’t in my plans to find a handsome stranger…" Lilly's laughter was light and infectious.
"Now that you have, you should be more responsible," Lloyd countered, a hint of mischief in his voice.
She laughed and wrapped her arms around his neck. "You can stay with me if you’re okay with waking up early."
"Yeah?" Lloyd's eyes sparkled.
"Yeah," Lilly confirmed, a smile tugging at her lips.
As they left the cruise, the anticipation between them palpable, Lloyd's driver was already waiting to take them to his hotel. Lilly hadn't expected him to be staying at the Grand Hôtel Du Palais Royal, much less that he would stop at the reception to get her an extra key. She stood there, momentarily dumbfounded, until they entered the elevator.
"Why... you didn’t have to... I don’t need a key…" Lilly's words trailed off, surprised by his action..
"Tomorrow I’ll be working till late, and I’m not sure when I’ll get back, but maybe you can wait for me here? I’m sure you’ll be back from your Monet tour way before me," Lloyd suggested, his tone inviting.
"It would feel strange to come here without you," Lilly admitted.
He slid his hand to the back of her neck and kissed her again, whispering softly into her lips.
"Keep the key. I have some hours to make you feel more inclined to it."
As the elevator doors opened and they entered his suite, Lloyd took off his shirt as he headed towards the bedroom, telling her he'd be right back. Lilly watched him go, her heart racing at the sight of his back. "I'm in trouble," she murmured to herself as she sat down on the couch.
When Lloyd returned to the living area, he asked if she wanted something from the mini-fridge, but she declined, lost in her thoughts and the anticipation of the night ahead.
A/N: As always, I would love to hear from you guys. The next chapter is almost done so I hope I'll be able to post it tomorrow :)

Find a Word Tag!
Thank you so much @captain-kraken for the tag!! (And also MANY apologies for the late response)
Friendly (and no pressure!) tag for @rickie-the-storyteller, @fayeiswriting, and @on-noon (obviously only if you want!!!)
Your words are: ice, dance, map, flower
My words were: village, coffee, wild, sing
-
Village (The Silver Circle)
“Well, yes, grand theft watercraft tends to get the blood pumping. Is Kyra alright?”
“Kyranion is resting as best she can. She took quite a few arrows back in the village, but she is strong, for a half-elf. A survivor.”
Arryn’s stomach sank, and the visions of the afternoon’s events flashed once again before his eyes.
“I didn’t know about the guards.”
“A matter that is irrelevant now. What’s done is done, there is no sense dwelling on it. All we can do is move forward and take care of our own.” Aelar’s hand rested on his friend’s shoulder, though Arryn could not discern the sincerity of his words through those ever calm mannerisms which were so typical of the prince. Damn these elves.
-
Coffee (Bad Morning: A Short Story)
Actually, now that he did think about it, something was off about this room. It looked less like a trap and more like-
“W-WELCOME W-WAGE SL-A-A-A-VES!” The wall behind him jumped to life, the cracked panels now displaying a flickering image of a winged hammer. “YO-BRRZZZZZT-YOU ARE AB-B-B-B-B-B-OUT TO ENTER-R-R-R-R THE -BRRZZT- DAEDALUS CORPORATION’S T-T-T-T-T-EAM BUILDATR-TRON 3000!”
“What in the fuck-” Connor whirled around and fired two shots into the screens. The glass shattered away, revealing a rack of white wristbands behind the wall. It extended towards the hunter as the overhead voice began to play again.
“A-A-ALRIGHT! NOW THAT YOUR COURT MANDATED SU-SU-SUPERVISOR HAS EXPLAINED THE INS AND O-O-O-UTS OF THE EXERCISE, PLEASE TAKE YOUR CHRONAL BAND! EACH OF THESE -BRZZZZZZZZZZT- BA-BA-BANDS WILL ENSURE THAT THE TEM-TEMPORAL LOOP WILL TAKE EFFECT, ENSURING THAT YOU CANNOT D-D-DIE WHILE IN THE M-MAZE.”
“Right… Good to know, I s’pose,” Connor said, taking one of the bands off the wall. It lit up blue as soon as he slipped it on his wrist. “Hope that means you’re workin’.”
“PLEASE BE AWARE: ANY -BRRRRRRZZZZZZZZT- DEATH INSIDE THE MAZE WILL BE F-F-FELT BY THE INDIV-V-VIDUAL, AND DYING WILL PUT YOU R-R-RIGHT BACK AT THE S-S-START. IF ALL TEAM MEMBERS ARE SENT TO THE START SIMULTANEOUSLY, THE MAZE WILL REARRANGE ITSELF. THE EXIT TO THE MAZE WILL ONLY O-O-O-O-OPEN ONCE ALL CHRONAL BANDS HAVE EXITED THE M-MAZE. GOOD LUCK, GRAB SOME COFFEE IF YOU NEED IT, AND REMEMBER: HERE AT D-D-D-DAEDALUS, YOU OWE YOUR DEBT, AND WE O-OWN YOUR A-A-A-ASS.” The screens flickered off, and the room went dark.
After a minute of unnerving silence, Connor heard a loud rumble, and the ground started to violently shake. He dove into the corner as a stalactite embedded itself in the cave floor. Once the ground settled, the bounty hunter stood and watched as a door slid open on the far wall.
“Alright, Drake. Best get a move on.”
-
Wild (Initiation, a Silver Circle prequel)
The man in black stood, spitting a little blood onto the ground.
“Rani, get us out of here,” he growled, “There wasn’t supposed to be this much resistance. Grab the little shit and let’s go.”
The wild-eyed orc, charred flesh smoking under her tunic, raised her arm, a sickly green portal appearing behind the trio of assailants. They stepped through, the man in black making direct eye contact with Torren.
“This isn’t over, Apprentices. I’m going to find you, I’m going to hunt you, and I’m going to burn everything you love.”
-
Sing (The Clockwork Lounge)
I sat and stared at my drink. Did Jimmy really bring me all the way out here for nothing? Was this really just some kind of elaborate suicide note? Nothing about this case made sense, and even less of it was remotely helpful.
"Girl can sing, eh?"
My head shot up. That voice was human.
“Just hired her,” said a large, greasy man, sliding his way into the seat across from me. “Cost a pretty penny, but folks prefer the human entertainment. Something about a robot just doesn’t put the same soul into it. Probably because they don’t have souls.”
“Do I know you?” I asked, taking a much-needed sip from my whiskey.
“Almost certainly, though we have not met,” the man replied, extending a slimy, sweat-soaked hand. “You can call me The Proprietor.”

Elevate Your Space with an Eames Lounge Chair Replica
The Appeal of the Eames Lounge Chair
The original Eames Lounge Chair, designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1956, is a symbol of luxury and sophistication. Its distinctive design, featuring molded plywood, high-quality leather upholstery, and a sleek aluminum base, has made it a favorite among design enthusiasts and collectors alike. The chair is known for offering both exceptional comfort and stunning visual appeal.
While an original Eames Lounge Chair represents an investment in high-end furniture, not everyone can afford to purchase one. This is where an Eames Lounge Chair Replica comes in. Replicas offer the same iconic design and style as the original, but at a fraction of the cost, making it accessible to more people who want to add a touch of elegance to their home or office.
Why Choose an Eames Lounge Chair Replica?
One of the key reasons to consider a replica is affordability. An Eames Lounge Chair Replica delivers the same timeless design and luxurious comfort without the hefty price tag. For individuals who admire the craftsmanship and visual impact of the original, opting for a replica is a smart way to incorporate this style into your living space without breaking the bank.
In addition to the cost savings, replicas are made with the same attention to detail as the original. Manufacturers of quality replicas focus on replicating the design’s proportions, materials, and comfort to ensure the chair looks and feels as close to the original as possible. A high-quality Replica Eames Chair for Sale can offer all the benefits of the original, including ergonomic support, plush cushions, and the classic combination of wood and leather, ensuring you don’t compromise on quality.
How to Find the Perfect Replica Eames Chair for Sale
When searching for the ideal Replica Eames Chair for Sale, it's essential to consider a few factors to ensure you get the best value for your money. The materials used in constructing the chair are crucial. High-quality replicas use premium leather or PU leather, and the wood should be sturdy and well-finished to mimic the luxurious feel of the original.
The frame and base of the chair are also important. Look for replicas with a strong aluminum base and a well-built structure that can support weight comfortably. The chair should recline smoothly and have plush, comfortable cushions that mimic the soft, enveloping experience the original offers.
Additionally, pay attention to customer reviews when shopping for a Replica Eames Chair for Sale. Reviews from previous buyers can give you insight into the chair’s comfort, durability, and how closely it resembles the original. Reliable sellers will offer a product that adheres to the design principles of the original chair, offering you an affordable yet elegant option.
Styling Your Space with an Eames Lounge Chair Replica
One of the greatest advantages of the Eames Lounge Chair Replica is its versatility in different interior design styles. Its clean lines, organic curves, and combination of wood and leather make it an excellent addition to modern, minimalist, or contemporary spaces. You can place the chair in a living room corner, pair it with a matching ottoman for added relaxation, or use it in a home office to create a sophisticated and functional workspace.
In living rooms, the replica serves as a statement piece that can transform the entire ambiance of the room. The blend of classic and modern design makes the chair a timeless addition that can easily be incorporated into any decor. In a home office, theReplica Eames Chair for Sale adds both comfort and elegance, creating a productive yet stylish environment.
The chair's neutral color palette—often featuring black, white, or brown leather and wood tones—makes it easy to coordinate with existing furniture. Whether your decor leans toward industrial chic, rustic, or modern minimalist, anEames Lounge Chair Replica can complement a wide range of styles without overwhelming the room.
Maintenance and Longevity of a Replica Eames Lounge Chair
Just like the original, an Eames Lounge Chair Replica requires minimal maintenance to keep it looking new. Leather should be cleaned regularly to remove dust and conditioned occasionally to maintain its softness and luster. Wood parts can be wiped with a soft, damp cloth to remove any debris and preserve the wood’s natural sheen.
With proper care, your replica can last for years, offering the same level of comfort and elegance as the original. Whether you use the chair for reading, relaxing, or simply adding visual interest to a room, its sturdy construction ensures it remains a staple in your home for the long term.

When it comes to interior design trends, everything old is new again. It's fascinating to see how what was once old-fashioned and outdated is now retro and fashionable. Homeowners, interior designers, and vintage interior design enthusiasts are enjoying the resurgence of nostalgic design trends. From mid-century modern to 80s inspired interiors, these classic design aesthetics give off a delightful feeling of nostalgia that feels fresh at the same time. In this blog, our interior designers in Bangalore explore the retro design trends that are making a comeback.
Mid-Century Modern
Mid-century modern design emerged in the 50s-60s era, with sleek lines and natural materials being the hallmark. The iconic pieces from this period are still popular choices today, such as the Eames Lounge Chair, the Saarinen Tulip Table, and the George Nelson Bubble Lamp. These pieces add a timeless appeal to any space, and the minimalist approach complements the modern aesthetic of homes today.
Art Deco
Art Deco was at the forefront of design in the roaring 20s and early 30s, with its bold geometric shapes, symmetrical patterns, and glossy finishes. This fantastic aesthetic combines glamour and luxury with a modern twist. It's making a comeback in all forms, from mirrors, lighting fixtures, and statement furniture pieces. Art Deco features metallics like brass, chrome, and gold, with rich black, white, and gold color schemes.
80s Colors
The 80s were a time of vibrant colors and playful patterns, and that's precisely what is making its comeback with retro design enthusiasts. Think neon and pastel colors like pink, mint, and turquoises. Of course, that doesn't mean you slap these colors everywhere, but starting with accessories such as cushions, artwork, and lamps can bring a bright and playful pop of color to any room.
Vintage Fabrics
Patterned fabrics are making a comeback in a big way, especially floral patterns that were dominant in the 60s and 70s. These fabrics make their presence known when paired with solid-colored furniture pieces, creating a seamless balance of the new and the old. When choosing vintage fabrics, it's important to look for pieces that are in good condition, with no signs of wear and tear.
Industrial Design
The industrial design movement originated in the 19th century, with its functional and simplistic style. This style celebrates the raw and unfinished look, with materials like metal, wood, and concrete being dominant. It's a popular choice for lofts or warehouse-style apartments as it adds an edge and industrial character that can transform any space.
Conclusion
The Retro Risen trend is the perfect blend of vintage and contemporary styles, creating a unique charm and warmth that's hard to find in any other aesthetic. By incorporating these design trends into your home, you'll get to experience the retro vibe while enjoying the modernity that comes with it. So consult an experienced interior design company and try mixing it up, creating a unique blend of pieces, textures, and colors that give off a feeling of nostalgia while keeping things fresh and exciting. Remember to have fun, as there are no rules when it comes to interior design.
