Putting my cards down now: If Nicole Maines's new book is Secret Six, I am predicting Jay is Mockingbird.

For those who don't know (you should read secret six, btw):

Nicole's notes from a few months ago indicating Jay is going after people involved in selling out Gamorra + him generally being the only guy on this team with both the intelligence (lol) and the resources to do this are what make me call this right away. We know Jay has experience working anonymously and he also has the motivation to put together a strike team at this current time. Also, dude has no qualms working with shady people for the betterment of society- His found family are the fucking Revolutionaries.

Worth noting with the exception of Catman (so far, we dont know for sure, Thomas gets up to some shady shit!) that everyone on this team has also wronged him in some way or another. There's Jon's White Guy Moment in Super Son, Nia... just her everything, and Black Alice and Deadshot were working for Waller at the time of Gamorra's second collapse.

It is also worth noting that Mockingbird, while often held by villains, is not inherently a villainous title. Its far more grey than that- as most of the stuff with Secret Six often is.

ngl the whole hype for The Heart Killers and pumbed up fandom activity after just 1 episode makes me a bit uncomfy. In the sense that it reminds me of every past big fandom which turned annoying and stressful real fast. Reasons why I stay away from hyped up stuff, since everyone will have their own high expectations again and then be whiny when the show doesn't go there.

And on the other side some weird dynamics can come up that suck for me. Like the thing with OF was that first of all it was very close to home and some stuff / character was a bit triggering for me which would have been manageable. But reading comments hyping that up / attacking everyone who didn't like certain actions in the show, made it worse. Especially since OF was based on real people / events. Because of that dynamic in the fandom + trigger stuff I never finished OF.

But I wanna watch THK regardless. In the worst case I can watch THK without fandom 🤷‍♂️ Worked well with DFF too, that had some triggering stuff in fandom comments too (the victim blaming). So I watched that with minimum fandom interaction, mainly just came in for the gifs.

THK is a different genre & theme, so maybe it will be fine this time.

Notable mention: the thick golden and black markers I've used in these last two pieces are ~grave inscription fixing markers~ bc I'm this edgy (kidding, they're just really good markers).

Notable mention 2: for someone who loves drawing eyes and absolutely hates drawing hands the hand-eye ratio so far is 7-0 (6-0 if we're not counting the skeleton hand and the eyes here that are closed). I have left my comfort zone and never looked back (and for that, THANK YOU AGAIN, LEVYNN!!!)

Despite this Jack showed immense intelligence, often reaching top marks in all of his classes and from an early age showed a strong proclivity to medical matters, such talent allowed him to enter university earlier and become a full medical doctor at an incredibly young age. Unfortunately it seems that after an incident regarding the death of a politician's son who accidently died on his operating table, he was sued, both losing his medical license and getting sent reeling into debt, at which point as to not completely go broke, he became a back alley doctor and organ harvester for criminals, however he was caught by one 'Carter Abernathy' and was then blackmailed using this information into becoming his 'assistant' This is the character I am using to romance Overdose, just because I think this gothic serial killer looking mf plus Overdose's colorful chaotic mess of an aesthetic, combined with the mostly clashing personalities makes for a very interesting dynamic
