Good afternoon to one and all..... hope all goes well and you're ready for the storm tomorrow! As most of you likely know, I've added yet another obsession over the last few years as I seem to have dove head first into weaving. It certainly was good to have something else to keep me occupied during the Covid lockdowns in between jewelry making adventures...... especially as I had some trouble getting jewelry making supplies!!! Spent some time the last few days working on my "new to me" Leclerc Colonial loom (this is loom number three if anyone is keeping count.... yep head first!). I'm still trying to tweek the loom setup to get it weaving nicely so that I need to use fewer words while using it ;-) Of course, I had to try out a new weave structure as well! Whatcha think so far? Thought I'd try something new today.... making a penannular broach aka a Viking cloak pin. It's a really simple one but I'm pretty happy with the result so far. Hmm..... it's a beautiful, bright, cold snowy day out there today. I absolutely love a snowy winter especially when the sun is shining! Even so.... Another busy day in the studio. Spent this morning trying to get the gallery (formerly known as the garage!) in order.
