i can imagine him being a little skeptical of you, but so intrigued!

he’d definitely want to see how far your strength could go. so, bakugou would subtly challenge you during training sessions, pushing you to see your true capabilities.

he’d nevee admit it but he looks up to you in a way. you don’t boast and scream about your strength like he does - that makes him respect you. he would start to see your quiet nature as a sign of focus and determination rather than a sign of weakness.

he’s so competitive… it’s honestly a little scary. before you two were even close to being friends or anything more, he’d definitely get a competitive drive when it comes to you.

this idiot would definitely think he’s competing with you 24/7 even though you remind him you are not. he thinks doing this will make you become more outgoing and competitive.

“HA! i finished my bowl of ramen before you, loser, i won!”

“we were competing over that?” i’d be confused if i were you too… he’s a little slow but he’s got the spirit!

dating him:

once you two start dating, bakugou becomes fiercely protective of you, admiring your strength and determination even more. he thinks his role in the relationship is to protect you from anything that might make you lose your strength!

he’s so loud (we know that obviously) but with you, he’s loud in a supportive way. he’s now boasting about you and your strength instead of his own!

he encourages you to continue improving and growing, offering both praise and constructive criticism. even if you don’t need it, he’ll keep doing it anyway.

bakugo has never felt like he had a opponent that could really give him a run for his money, until you two train together.

training with him would be so so sweet. if he hit you too hard, he’d immediately worried if you didn’t tell him you were alright. (he won’t outwardly admit he’s worried about you but you know deep down he is!)

everyday is a day where you two grow together and bakugou is proud of you for simple improvements in your strength (you’re stronger than him lol and he knows you could take him down in a second!)

IZUKU MIDORIYA —

before dating:

Izuku notices your quiet demeanor but senses a strong presence and capability within you. he’d write about your strength and weaknesses in his hero notebook. he’d ask you so much questions (totally not to get to know you better… totally…)

“sorry- i’m not trying to be a bother but can you tell me more about your quirk! it’s so cool and you’re so strong!” he blushes immediately after rambling about how you’re so talented and your strength is admirable. meanwhile, your twirling your hair over the fact he thinks your strong!

one time, you caught him drawing out your hero suit and make little point notes about it. you went to your dorm and giggled about it for the rest of the day. it literally felt like a award to be in his hero notebook!

we all know izuku is his classmates biggest supporter, he is always wanting his classmates to grow alongside him and is pushing everyone to become the best hero they can be!

with you, he offers encouragement and support to you, believing in your potential and wanting you to believe in yourself as well.

because of your quiet nature, izuku might try and show his admiration for you in anyway he can. he admires your quiet determination, seeing it as a reflection of your inner strength and resolve.

basically, he’s your #1 fan!

you two initially work well together as teammates, with Izuku valuing your contributions and skills.

once you two start dating, it’s a whole different story!

dating him:

your relationship deepens Izuku’s admiration for your quiet strength, appreciating how you compliment each other. (everyone is class 1-A is still shocked at how well you two compliment each other, even before you guys were dating!)

ranting time for my 100th post

Okay. I need to scream to someone.

As an autistic person myself/someone's who is *most definitely* on the spectrum, I find that I am becoming more self aware, thus becoming aware of other people's autistic/neurodivergent behavior.

Continuing on with that information...

Does anyone else think/agree with me if I were to say that there's a pretty high chance Izuku is autistic, or at least on *some sort* of the neurodivergent spectrum??? Maybe someone else has said it before I don't know but I went on an entire spiral last night as I was trying to come up with ideas for an AU I'm doing😓

But, just listing some of the stuff he does that I personally do that I know is a hyperfixation:

Hyperfixates (most obvious being All Might/Toshinori Yagi [who could also be a special interest not just a hyperfixation], but also the other heroes and even villains)

Constantly trying to be optimistic about things/MASKING.

Immense guilt weighing you down when you think you've done something wrong even if it's something as small as putting something in the wrong spot by accident

Having hundreds of notebooks and other things to keep track of data from hyperfixations/special interests

Collecting objects of hyperfixtion/merchandise and shtuff for hyperfixations

Having a strict schedule/routine to follow (his training schedule *cough cough*)

RAMBLING NON-STOP ABOUT SPECIAL INTERESTS/HYPERFIXATIONS

When we look at Izuku's rooms, there's obviously the All Might special interest. We know all about his notebooks, and (if I'm remembering correctly) there are thirteen of them. While to some it may not seem like much (maybe idk I don't have normal interactions with people), those notebooks are filled to the *brim*. There's also *more* notebooks than that, as there's ones about his classmates, and ones about OFA, and other stuff as well.

When he was training, yes I know All Might made the routine for him, but Izuku took the routine and made it his own and followed it everyday (even though it grew unhealthy).

Izuku is honestly just a kid who doesn't know how to have a normal human interaction unless he is put in charge and is under a sort of stress in his brain. It may not seem stressful to others, but in order to have the "confidence" to be in charge, his brain creates stressors in order to function "correctly" in those situations.

He studies and trains obsessively, and is a people pleaser to all extents.

There's probably more that I could talk about, but *I've* been rambling here for a little while here now😭😭

Katsuki doesn't know when it was that he fell in love with Izuku.

Whether it was something that had always been there and he never realized it, or if it just... appeared /that/ day.

The nerd had invited him to his very first professional conference. The blond had barely made it in time because he got caught up in an altercation with a random shitty villain.

His best friend was there, in front of an audience of hundreds, wearing a blue suit, a proper red tie, and black polished shoes, walking confidently through the outdoor stage, making it his own as he showed everyone his new project and how it would impact not only heroes, but also civilians in the most positive way. This was Izuku, talking to everyone about his future dreams.

Dreams that Katsuki wanted to be a part of.

Pride swelled in his chest at such sight.

'That's my nerd', he thought.

His heart fluttered uncontrollably like it had never done before, and that confused him to no end. He felt an intense blush crawling up to his cheeks, and a sudden urge to be near the greenette hit him like the most unexpected hurricane.

The rookie hero asked himself many questions in that single minute.

How can it be? Is this... Is this what others call 'love'? But is that even possible? To fall for someone that you've known for most of your life? Has society lied to him? Where is the 'strangers to lovers' thingy? The 'I fell for my partner in the very first moment I saw them'? None of it matched with the typical stereotypes people had made him believe all these years.

And yet...

Katsuki had never been more sure of anything but this.

Izuku made him feel safe. Izuku felt like the home he wanted to go back to everyday. Izuku…

His rambling thoughts stopped abruptly.

The blond will never forget the moment when those emerald eyes landed on him. An infinite sea of emotions danced inside them when they met with sparkling rubies: surprise, relief and something akin to... affection?

Yes, in some sense but...

It was deeper, more like...

"Kacchan!", Izuku uttered over the microphone, with his green gaze fixed on him.

And suddenly, he was completely exposed. A thousand eyes trailed towards his direction.

Different kind of whispers reached his ears:

'Hey, isn't that Hero Dynamight?'

'Yes, he is! Don't you know that he and Deku are considered the next All Might and David Shield?'

'What is that brash young man doing here?'

'How dare he interrupt the conference of my favorite engineer?'

'I think they are meant to be together?'

What? The last one accelerated Katsuki's pulse.

Because… he also believed it, and he wanted to kick himself in the guts for taking so many years to see it.

Izuku raised his hand, and that was enough for all the voices to be silenced.

Deku went down the stairs from the scenery and just before he reached the public, all the people opened a path for him.

The talented engineer strolled over it as he kept talking, while the crowd around Katsuki also stepped back, giving him space for what was about to come.

If angels were real, then Izuku must be one, the blond's mind provided, especially with how the sunlight bathed him beautifully, bringing out the best of him.

"If everyone recalls, I initiated this conference by telling you about my only childhood friend. We grew up together for ten years..."

All the attendees gasped, while others squealed.

Katsuki's ears turned red. Is this real?

"...we fell apart once I moved with my parents to Europe...", Izuku continued.

And then his heart dropped.

That was a lie. Well, not a complete one but... Katsuki had pushed Izuku away many months before that due to his quirklessness. And when he finally realized how much the greenette meant to him, it was too fucking late.

As a child, he cried, cried and cried through the whole day when his mom explained to him that the Midoriyas had left Japan, with no way to contact them whatsoever.

'It's all my fault', he believed through the years to come until Izuku and him found each other again and the guy reassured him that many factors had played into Inko and Hisashi taking that decision.

Even if Katsuki had lost his ability to cry, a huge void had already settled on his chest forever. The void of Izuku Midoriya's absence in his life.

'I'll never see him again', he had believed.

Until they met one fateful night, fifteen years later.

Under a starry sky, Katsuki felt an uncharacteristic sting in his carmine hues. Tears were already rolling down his face without explanation when he caught sight of long green curls, gorgeous jade eyes, freckled cheeks and a smile that could blind the whole city by itself. Izuku was hugging him before he realized it, and out of nowhere… the void disappeared.

And right now, five years after that encounter, even if they were surrounded by a large number of civilians, it was as if only Midoriya Izuku and Bakugo Katsuki were there.

Izuku's rich fresh cologne invaded him, and fuck! Katsuki spaced out! What the hell was he saying?

"...he is my biggest inspiration and my symbol of victory", Deku finished.

'Bitch, if that isn't a freaking declaration of love tell me what it is?!', Katsuki heard a woman say.

"Izuku… I think I love you", Dynamight expressed pathetically.

The stunned look on his now husband's face will always remain stuck on Katsuki's head as one of those fond memories that live vividly in your head. The kind that you just have to close your eyes to go back to them.

"Please… please say something…", Katsuki told him in a vulnerable tone.

There were no words from Deku.

Instead, the greenette launched himself towards him and captured his lips in their very first kiss.

The blond was surprised for a brief moment before he responded eagerly and placed his hand on Izuku's waist, bringing him up as the greenette locked his arms around his neck and hooked his legs over the hero's torso.

That experience marked a change in Dynamight's life. He was doomed, because there was no way he could live without Deku's kisses anymore.

Everyone around them hollered in happiness, for their favorite hero and engineer were on the brink of becoming a couple.

"I love you, Kacchan", Izuku told him for the first time.

"Be my one and only, nerd", Katsuki gave him a dopey grin.

"Yes, Katsuki. Yes!", Izuku cried, cupping Kacchan's cheeks and kissing him softly once again.

Maybe they had fallen apart for a whole decade and thought that they had lost each other forever.

The thing is…

They underestimated the gravitational force both have between one other, and that's something that not even them can break apart.

(I go insane rambling about Izuku and how I want him to clean the beach in my fic. Don't mind need this to reread later for forwarding the plot.)

I've ran into a fucking road-block in my writing FUCK. I can't even ignore it or- wait I could just skip that detail, but no it wouldn't feel right.

Like- Izuku isn't being trained by all might, but I still want him to like clean the beach. So like sure he can organise it all and just run around on the beach. But there's the point of not trespassing and transporting the trash. Trespassing is easy to skip, ya know rebel shit by doing stuff anyway and just run whenever cops come, but where to put the trash? Izuku COULD put it in a street corner/just by the road of the beach, but like is that at all satisfing?

I was thinking of having Izuku talk with people on a nearby market and them giving like reasons to clean but also why they haven't cleaned, I wanted to add like a detail where one of them would give a number of a company that could like, be payed to come by once in a while by Izuku (he got a job alr and gets mooons) but it feels so left feild for the show at all. The market was inspired by me reading and loving Be The Actor (amazing webcomic) but there the main character's mom actually work at the street market so it makes sense he would be able to get help from them and such. In My Hero tho Izuku mostly just hangs around people his age and pro-heros (which makes sense, hero in training ya know) so it wouldn't fit his character at all to get the number of a construction company to just, help him with trucks to clean a beach. Or even talk to people in the market just, chatting about the beach nearby that is overflown by trash.

No it is waaaay too OOC isn't...

Maybe he just leaves in on the street by the beach. But wouldn't then the trash collectors call like, Idk the police or something to see who is putting so much trash there and why? Cause it will stink up the place and it would go against like laws for keeping sidewalks clean no? After a bit of the police searching you wouldn't be able to hide from it anymore, Izuku would just be arrested and then be told off to not do it anymore or he'd get a more serious consequences than a warning. Maybe it would be intresting to have 14 year old Izuku arrested, but how would be train at all afterwards? Should he just go to training in his room? but like that'll STINK the place UP and I think Inko would be like "PLEASE just go to a gym, I will go with you if I have to" cause, isn't there like age-restrictions on gyms anyway? That's what I'm already working in my mind, but no offence to Inko but she doesn't look like someone who would gym and could probably have really frail bones. It feels so weird to add just a random character into the mix of everything just to get the plot forward, but maybe that's what I have to do? Uuuuugh I don't want too it feels so lazyyy. It, no it wouldn't fix my problems at all.

What I have already changed is that Izuku has a podcasts/livestream where he talks about any and all quirks he stumbles upon in his everyday like. What also happens is that Izuku doesn't want to give up on his dream about becoming a hero after the sludge incidence, but All Might doesn't catch up to give him One for All neither.

Those are the core things I changed, and I would LIKE for the rest of the fanfic to be the consequences of changing those core details (with outline from a specific movie but that's irrelevant rn).

But, do I give him the core detail he was in like, Idk martial arts as well before? FUCK NO, sounds boring as hell. At that point I am just adding shit to canon because I am creating too many road blocks that I find unbreakable. ... a detail like martial arts is a fic on it's own don't @ me.

NOW, in reality I just want to have him somewhat muscled up for the UA entrence exam, I feel like it could give him some courage and he might be able to ace his written exam with some (author) strings being pulled. So, how do I do that without it feeling and reading as lazy? I added the thingy of him asking his chat in an not so subtle way (sending himself a dono like he is a quirk user who wants more strength for his quirk) with him and chat chatting about how to train at home. With that he starts going on runs every day, getting a power gripper thing, a weight or two and *trying* to go to a gym but failing (I wrote for social anxiety reasons but Imma change to age restriction).

OKAY so basically: after the doctor's visit where Izuku learns he's quirkless (I hc that they went when he was about five n' a half), Inko does a little bit of research on quirks and more specifically on her son's notebooks, learns that he's even more brilliant at quirk analysis than she originally suspected, and (after looking at some not great quirkless statistics) she instead informs Izuku that no, he's had a quirk all along! It's an analysis quirk!

So she updates the quirk registry, and Izuku goes through his life believing he has an analysis quirk, albeit teased for being a late bloomer, but he still can't shake the insecurity being quirkless for that one and a half year gave him.

He does research on all sorts of things, hacking, knife throwing, first aid, and building his own support gear and takes to all of it like a duck to water. He also does research on UA's policy for support gear in the entrance exam (cause surely they've gotta have a policy for non-offensive quirks like Koda and Hagakure) and finds that he can take one with him if he builds it himself. He goes fuckin bonkers.

Anyways: he trains with Katsuki, cause they're relationship is pretty good since Izuku has a 'quirk.' They both demolish the entrance exam. (Also Izuku kinda swears a lot because Katsuki rubs off on him)

Aizawa doesn't notice a goddamn thing is amiss until the battle trials on the second day (he decides to shadow All Might that day), where when he was using his quirk to silence his students while Izuku was rambling, he just didn't stop, as if he didn't notice anything was wrong. It happens again during the USJ.

So at some point during the sports festival, Nedzu (who is now intrigued because of Aizawa's complaining) invites Izuku into his office during a free period and lets him go ham on analysis, all while Aizawa is secretly there erasing Izuku's 'quirk.' Nedzu invites Izuku to be his personal student (making Aizawa go grey), he says yes, and then Nedzu drops the absolute BOMBSHELL that Izuku is actually quirkless. Cue an existential crisis.

(Also Izuku gets captured at the training camp alongside Katsuki because of his "analysis quirk," wonder how well that goes for him~)

ok first of, inko taking on a stronger stance to support her son? love that of her. like, she doesn’t say sorry when izuku turned to look at her and cried that he can’t be like all might. instead, she took him in her arms and assures him that he will be a great hero. at first, of course half of it is lip service because she doesn’t know how to help her quirkless boy be a hero, since, you know, heroes need quirks.. (or do they)

and then she comes across a quirkless self help group which rang many many warning bells in her head. what kind of life do quirkless people live when a google research of them resulted in subsequent pages of results like how to stay safe when quirkless, or how to find jobs when quirkless, or quirkless mortality rates?

she fears for izuku, until she notices that her son’s smart. too smart for his age, but inko thought she’s just being biased. but izuku’s wit is something many people notice, for an instance, when izuku goes to the park to play and his friends’ (the few ones who stayed) parents tell her that her son’s smart for a quirkless person, she realizes that izuku’s wit is far more vast than normal.

then a thought worms into her head but wouldn’t it be bad to lie…but also, no one would be any the wiser.

further pushed by all the statistics she keeps seeing, or the lack thereof, about quirkless people, she makes the decision and pours it to izuku.

izuku who’s far smarter than his age and understood what his mom is asking from him. izuku who already saw the disparities between quirked and quirkless people at the tender age of five. izuku who knows what it means to lie about something as personal as a quirk, but realizes that it’s necessary for him to do so if he wants to live a “normal” life.

so he agrees; he tells inko that he’ll work even harder to sharpen his mind, and to keep expanding his knowledge.

when izuku’s quirk file is officially updated, he watches how his peers and teachers revert back into treating him as izuku. he regains his old friends, but he chose to drop them because he doesn’t want to surround himself with people who thought he was less for being quirkless.

katsuki stayed, surprisingly. katsuki stayed and everyday he kept bothering izuku to “get your quirk already!” katsuki stayed because he can’t fathom that the smartest boy in their class (of course not as smart as him, psshh) is quirkless. deku couldn’t be quirkless. (but if he found out that izuku, indeed, is, i wonder what would happen…)

katsuki was one of the loudest to celebrate when izuku announced that his quirk arrived.

“finally!” he screams and bothers izuku about the semantics of his quirk. he really wasn’t surprised to find out that izuku has an analysis quirk because he thought that nothing else would better be suited for izuku.

he doesn’t know that izuku pours so much of his time into learning and studying, often bypassing basics and intros to take more of the developed courses that are usually recommended for older ages. he doesn’t know that izuku is just a naturally smart kid with the ability to fill the gaps of his young mind with knowledge upon knowledge, storing and stacking them until he feels that he’s laid a sturdy foundation for his fake quirk.

then izuku began threading into different areas. he learns how to get into cyberspaces; hacking into accounts and delving more into how to access private information. he doesn’t thread too close lest he gets caught, but he learns the logistics of maneuvering around the web and burrowing in empty spaces to branch out his own. he creates and designs web algorithms for himself, just so he doesn’t trigger anyone who is looking into the web movements. he hones this and uses it to access more information.

then when he deems it enough, he turns his attention to something more tangible and something more physical. he learns other ways to be a hero; how to fight without a physical quirk, how to win against bigger opponents, how to use analysis quirk in fights.

izuku becomes more than a fake analysis quirk user; he creates it.

mental quirks are hard to describe, more so to compress, thus he creates new definitions of an analysis quirk. what used to be a silly lie is now a tangible fact that izuku believes in. because what makes a quirk? because what makes analysis a quirk? he learns these semantics (often political) and uses it to his advantage.

then he finally threads to hero analysis. at first it were classmates he analyzed; eyes running quickly at their forms and watching with great interest before calculating everything he’s seen and transversing it with the things he learned, and bridges these two facts together to create an analysis. it was a struggle at first: he didn’t know which to put emphasis on until he realizes, he doesn’t need to. he weaves them together and lets his analysis run long and watches how his hobby comes into fruition.

following his classmates are current heroes. these were more tough and more fun, and any of the information is less shared. he doesn’t tell his classmates or teachers about his analyses, only katsuki. and katsuki’s breath hitch every damn time at izuku’s talent quirk.

it is in their second year of middle school that midoriya begins to incorporate the facts with himself to create physical performances. the issues and things he learned through observing are now practiced by himself. he calculates the best way to fight with a body as petite as his, often taking examples from pro-hero hawks and other women heroes. their agilities and physicality suit izuku’s young body; he doesn’t see the merit in punching his way through things when he physically cannot.

so he learns ways to ease his muscles. he learns ballet and gymnastics; lets his muscles contort and mend themselves anew. he finds his balance and roots himself firmly, and learns to calculate his actions so he doesn’t waste his energy. katsuki doesn’t say anything, but he sees izuku’s dance and falls in love.

then in the spring of their third year of middle school, izuku learns how to build and handle weapons.

this is the easiest. izuku learns that weapons aren’t tools, but extensions of his arms and hands. they are not to be revered and not to be depended on because they can fail. instead, he learns to wield weapons as though they are parts of his bodies. he learns how to use swords and often narrowing to wooden sticks that can be picked up anywhere; he learns how to fire guns and how to hide daggers in his uniform. he learns that his body is the best weapon to use and that tools are just arsenal to help him win.

then he learns how to build them.

by summer, izuku begins reaching into UA’s servers. they are hard codes to crack, but not impossible. it takes him five days to access old entrance exam videos. the next day, the videos are snuffed and he is left to try digging deeper into UA.

he fails.

nezu must have caught onto his codes and proceeded to build walls against it.

so he slithers out. but a five minute video of last year’s entrance exam is enough for izuku because he learns two things: one, heroes must defeat villains and two, heroes must save others.

izuku prepares for this. unknowingly, katsuki is taught these same principles. katsuki would grumble and tell him that he knows what heroes must do, but izuku continues to hammer it down to him.

by the time of the UA entrance exam, izuku falls into the ease of having a fake quirk. he passes the written exam with flying colours and although it took three teachers to approve his support gears (present mic had to pull in powerloader, midnight, and hound dog to ensure that the well designed support gears are made by the hero student examinee and not by a support student examinee. majima saw the works and begged nezu to allow izuku to be his student.), izuku still succeeds and dominates the entrance exam.

when the zero pointer was released, he had flung himself towards the girl crushed by debris and yanks her out. he doesn’t waste a modified grenade to explode the zero pointer because through his calculations, doing so would not only create more collateral damage, but would also endanger the examinee in his arms because she still would be caught in the crossfire.

nezu hums in appreciation from the screening room, after all, smart minds always do think alike.

izuku gets a whopping 92 in the physical aspects of the entrance exam.

katsuki gets 85.

aizawa gleefully takes them in.

izuku thinks that no one will ever know of his and inko’s secret, but one look at nezu’s beady eyes and he knew that the stoat knew. it became a game to them, then. a game to see who else would realize.

and while izuku is smart, he doesn’t realize that nezu has basically taken him as his personal student the moment he and izuku had created a bet.

it takes two months for aizawa to figure things out. surprisingly, he is the only one to do so and he only realizes due to the many untimely attacks of LoV.

if there was ever a time to be embarrassed about something that deku’s students have said to him, it would be now.

“mr. deku? are you dating someone?” izuku’s head snaps up to see hina, one of his most extroverted students. many other students come over to his desk, intrigued by the question that hina had asked. their little heads surround the table, and eyes peer at him over the height of his desk. 

“yea, are you?”

“tell us! tell us!” tiny voices chant in unison before izuku shushes them all gently. he internally reminds himself that they are innocent six-year olds that were not trying to purposefully embarrass him before answering.

“y-yes, i am dating someone,” the class erupts into cheers before quieting down again. they don’t disperse and head back to their tables like izuku had hoped, because hina looks at him with bright, brown eyes and continues the conversation.

“what are they like? do you love them? do youuuu?” her hair bounces as she drawls out the last syllable of her statement.

“hina, isn’t it time to go back to your seat?” deku asked, cheeks flushing a deep pink at the questioning. shaking her head, she only giggles.

“it’s free time, isn’t it?” she pouts. “also you didn’t answer my question. i...i could always make you, though!” and izuku watches as the brown of her eyes turns a deep black to the point the iris matches her pupils. one of the oldest in her class, hina had already manifested her quirk: the ability to make anyone do what they she wants when they make eye contact with her but only when her eyes were fully black.

“hina.” he makes his tone more strict, catching her attention and making her gaze drift down to the floor. “no quirk usage in the classroom, okay? it’s not fair to your other classmates who don’t have theirs yet.”

“yea, i know it’s a power imbalance or somethin’… but please? tell me?” and when izuku sees her eyes again, they’re back to the umber they usually are and hold only truth in them. he sighs. 

“after this, you’ll go back to your seat?” with an enthusiastic nod, deku catches his lip in between his thumb and pointer finger, trying to figure out how to describe you: the love of his life.

“they’re… amazing. i don’t know any words that could describe the way that i love them. but they’re that feeling when you have your favorite drink for the first time in forever! or-”

“you’re gonna ramble, mr. deku.” hina’s straight-forwardness could be taken as rudeness eventually... he’d have to take her over to bakugo’s or todoroki’s class one day to see what she does in other people. “i know that if i were in love, i’d show them what i couldn’t tell them!”

hina’s reply sparks an idea for a long-term project for his students… and for the both of you. izuku stands up, clapping his hands to get their attention. brushing his hair away from his face, the students see the glee in his emerald eyes and know that it’ll be an interesting project.

“what do you guys think of doing some painting over the next few weeks?”

“izu, you’re home!” at the sound of his footsteps, izuku sees you turn around and smile at him and his heart flutters. you’re wearing one of his oversized sweaters and mismatched socks that soften the noise of your feet padding down the hallway to kiss him.

“hi, angel.”

your hands cup his freckled cheeks, and he hopes that you don’t feel the amount of heat that crosses them. from your laugh, he knows that the opposite is true. your expression suddenly changes from content to focused, and midoriya feels your thumb rub away some pink paint.

“paint?” you step back and arch your eyebrow at him, walking away to the kitchen to wash your hands. taking off his blazer and folding it over his arms, izuku follows you, the baritone of his voice floating over to you across the island that separates the two of you. 

“i started a new art project with them,” izuku explains while he plays with his fingers, a habit he’s never really gotten over since his high school days. “their assignment is to supposed to paint something, someone —anything really— that brings them happiness. and then they asked me to do it with them.”

“and you just couldn’t say no?” after drying your hands, you turn around to face him, eyebrow arched and mouth curved into an amused smile. he feels heat race across his cheeks as he nods bashfully. “then i assume you’re painting all might.”

“well… you’ll see.”

“you’re so forgetful when it comes to your health, you know that?” your unforgettable voice can be heard from across the room to deku, holding the lunch that you reminded him to take three times in total. the students, including one excitable hina, turn their heads up at the noise and gasp.

“mr. deku, is this (y/n)?” after shy confirmation from him, the class cheers and deku raises both of his hands to turn the shouts to hushed whispers.

“p-please go back to what you were doing! you guys wouldn’t want to wake up kacchan, would you?” the bunny that sat on the counter was taking a short nap, his expression relaxed which was the opposite of his hostile behavior. at the mention of the angry bunny, the students went back to work, dipping their fingers in the paint as they continued to talk about you. you shyly smiled and rolled your eyes at the excitement that your arrival caused.

“do you want me to go over to you? or…” your sentence causes deku to blush and stand up quickly, striding over to where you were at the door.

“no, it’s fine… i know that it was hard to take this time out of your schedule. thank you, sweetheart.” he murmurs, trying not to take the children’s attention off of their project. izuku takes the lunch from your hands, giving you a smile and squeezing your hand softly.

“of course! i’ll see you at home later?” he enthusiastically nods, and you kiss as a farewell, lips slotting against each other lovingly. it seemed like you were about to deepen it, but hina’s voice causes you two to part.

“ewwwww!” 

and deku has never felt so embarrassed about showing his love for you. heat streams across his cheeks and down his neck while you laugh innocently. slinging your arms around his neck to pull him into a hug, you whisper your goodbyes into his ear, knowing that he would be mumbling about this into your lap at home tonight. in a sort of apology, izuku presses kisses into your neck. (knowing that his back was to hina, of course.) and like the angel you are, you giggle lightly at the sensation, and midoriya knows he’s been forgiven, even if there was nothing to forgive.

afterwards, you turn away, and midoriya sighs at the sound of your shoes against the hallway flooring. clutching the bento you brought him in his hands, he walks back to his desk and back to what he was trying to encapture in his painting. that was until he heard what hina mumbles —or tried to mumble— in the relatively quiet room.

“so that’s what love looks like…”

for once, deku lets out a sigh of relief at work. it was peaceful, and seeing all of the proud smiles on his (they were his at this point; he cared for them that deeply) children’s faces made him proud as well.

all was calm, and so before kacchan woke up from his nap, deku clapped his hands together and stood up, attracting the students’ attention.

“guys… i’m going to need your help with this plan i have, okay?”

you had been surprised when izuku called you while he was at work one day. he was almost religious with the amount of dedication and attention into his students and put his phone on silent everyday. so when he asked you to come to his classroom, you were shocked but quickly rushed over.

your heart skipped a beat with every step you took forward to the door, mind conjuring the worst scenarios every time you thought of izuku’s nervous, high-pitched tone.

“just c-come over as soon as possible please, angel!” you loved this man, but sometimes you just didn’t know what was in his mind. 

and with bated breath, you opened the door to his classroom and gasped.

the room formerly had circular tables on top of an area rug with all might memorabilia on the walls and children running havoc around it. 

but this room had fairy lights around it, giving it this safe haven aura, and there was a pathway to the other side of the room by separating the tables. someone squeezed your hand, so you tore yourself away from the look of the new room and made your eyes look downward. by the excited look in her eyes and proud smirk on her face, you assumed that this was hina, the same girl who had squealed in disgust during your kiss with izuku. 

“follow me, (y/n)!” and although it was a very small distance, you took her smaller hand within yours and let her lead you to the other side of the room where you saw izuku, who was beside an easel. before walking away to another room, hina narrowed her eyes at your boyfriend, telling him to “man up and do it or i’ll do it for you!”

“what’s happening, izuku? is something wrong?” you let him take your hands and he immediately told you everything was okay.

“i just… n-needed to tell you something before i lost the courage to do so. you know that project i told you about earlier?” you nod, trying not to say anything as you saw him fight for the right words. “well… for someone who brings me happiness, i chose you.”

izuku walks behind you to envelop you within his arms from behind, hiding his face in your neck. you tear the paper hiding his work from you away and gasp at what you see.

“i’m not a very good painter! the sketch was much better…” and you know that he wasn’t being modest.

your features were there, but blobs of paint were astray in different places. your eyes were too far apart and your hair was just a touch different than it usually is. but you let yourself fall into the colors that he chose.

the background was pink and you remember that one morning, izuku had told you that you reminded him of the color of a carefree love: baby pink.

you were wearing the same outfit that you were on your first date, and you can’t help but tear up slightly at the amount of detail that he put into this painting.

“izuku… it’s bad but good at the same time, you dork. i love it. i love y-” you turn around to find him on one knee and his own eyes watering. “-ou.”

“i- um, bare with me, here.” you run your hands through his soft locks of hair and sniffle, and he just knows that you’re always going to listen to him. 

“i could never put into words just how much you mean to me. which is probably why i put off this for so long. hah, i- you’re perfect, angel. perfect for me. i’ve always been in love with you even before we started to date… and just seeing you take care of me because i’m so forgetful when it comes to my health and always being there for me in the mornings has made me fall for you again and again everyday. i call these kids my world, but you’re my universe, my love. a picture so perfect that i tried and failed to encompass you.”

you sniffle again, and he presses soft kisses to the top of your hand, trying to compose himself to ask the damn question once and for all. he looks up and into your eyes, and finally… he’s determined to make you his.

“it would make me the happiest man in the world if you could marry me, (y/n).” he lets go of your hand to crack open the velvet ring box to reveal the prettiest ring you’ve ever seen. although you sometimes don’t know what goes through izuku’s head, it’s like he was in yours picking out this beautiful moonstone. 

you get down on the ground too, resting your forehead against his as you whisper out a yes.

“yes… yes, i’ll marry you, ‘zuku. any day, any time, because it’s you. i love you.” you kiss his lips over and over again, making him giggle and pull you even closer on this kindergarten class floor.

and you’re not sure if the moment is ruined or made better by bakugo opening the door to his class and letting hina & the other students loudly rush into the room.

You grew up in the wild and are going to teach 3-A some basic skill for a week. After the week of harsh training they have a week off, in which Katsuki goes to you every day.

~3rd person pov.~

''Hey uncle Shouta.'' You say in a tired voice as you approach your tired uncle.

''Hey, you ready to teach these headaches some outdoor skills?'' He asks you.

''I guess.'' You shrug.

Shouta Aizawa is your uncle. Your mom was his sister, but she died a few years ago. You don't see Shouta often, seeing as you live in the woods. Your mom and dad lived there before they got you. Your dad went hunting one day when you where five and didn't come back. Your mom and you grew very close after that and the only male figure you have is Shouta.

He pays for your phone bills and anything else you need, seeing you don't have a job or anything. The only thing he asks in return is that you teach his class some basic skill for in the wild. You agreed, seeing you grew up in them and rule over the wolves there, so it's safe for them to train in the wild.

Right now it's that time again. For a week you'll train them and they'll have to listen to you. You try hiding it, but you actually like teaching the students. It gives you a chance to socialize with people your age. Right now you're going to teach 3-A, a class full of eighteen-year-old students, so they're your age.

''Lets get to it then. Wait out here until I tell you to come in.''

You nod at Shouta as he walks into the loud classroom. You can hear him silence them just by entering, causing you to snicker to yourself. You can hear him explain what they'll be doing over the week before calling you in. You open the big door and walk into the classroom to see everyone looking at you. You walk over to Shouta to see him sleeping on the ground.

''Of course you're sleeping on the damned floor again.'' You sigh before turning to the class. ''Hello, I'm (y/n) (l/n). Shouta is my uncle and I'll be teaching you guys some useful skills for when you are in the wild. Any questions?''

Everyone puts up their hands, causing you to groan internally. The introduction is going to take a long while. Scanning over the class you frown. Only three people didn't raise their hand. An ash blond guy, a half white half red haired guy and a purple haired girl. You shrug and point at a green haired girl.

''My names Tsu, kero. How old are you?''

''I'm eighteen. You.'' You say, pointing at a blue haired guy.

''Why aren't you in school?''

''Well, I grew up in the wild. That's also why I'm teaching you guys. My parents home schooled me and uncle Shouta provided the books needed. I'm just as smart as all of you. The only thing is that I don't have a degree. You.'' You point at a red haired guy.

''What's your quirk?''

''I can communicate with animals. I have it from my father, he could communicate with animals too. You.'' You point at an eager green haired boy.

''How does it work? Does it include all animals? Do you speak their language or does it sound like normal talking to you? How do you activate it?'' And so he keeps on muttering.

''Izuku Midoriya. Uncle was right. You can analyze my quirk later. Any other questions.....You.''

''Yaoyorozu, you said that your father could, as in past tense. Does this mean he's not around anymore?'' She asks, voice formal.

''He went hunting one day and didn't come back. It's safe to assume he's dead and has been eaten by the wild live. Yes.''

''Ashido. Do you ever talk to people your age?''

''I'm talking to you guys right now. Yes?''

And so they keep on asking some more questions. Mostly about your life and boring things. After an hour you grow tired of it and stop pointing at people.

''Well, I hope most questions are answered. Lets get going. Everyone put on your hero costume or your PE uniform. Meet me in front of the gate in fifteen minutes. If you're not there I will leave you behind.'' You sigh, walking out of the room.

You sigh, only a handful of them are here. Midoriya, Iida, Yaoyorozu, Todoroki, Bakugou and Jirou are there to be exact. You grumble softly at that. Clearly they are not taking you serious. You turn your back to UA, put your hands in your pockets and look over your shoulder at the waiting students.

''Lets go.'' You mumble.

''Wait! We're seriously leaving them behind?!'' Midoriya exclaims.

''I told you I would. That you guys don't listen is your problem. I did tell you guys Shouta is my uncle. You could have seen this coming.''

They exchange glances and nod hesitantly, slowly following after you. As you all near the corner of the street you hear people calling over to you. You all stop and look behind you to see the rest of the class running over. You find it funny that they're all wearing their hero costumes, even though you gave them an option today.

''Why did you leave us behind?!'' Ashido asks.

''I told you guys I would.''

''We didn't think you were being serious.'' You hear a male mutter.

''Well I was. Now lets go. We are training for the scheduled time. It doesn't matter for me whether we stop at five or ten in the evening.''

Everybody nods as you start walking again. They whisper among themselves, mostly about you. You ignore them and head to the woods. People on the street look at you all curiously. It's not everyday you see twenty well know heros in training walking over the street, whispering among themselves while following after a random girl. As you all arrive at the woods you turn to the class.

''Okay, two by two and follow behind me. We're going to a clearing, but it's easy to get lost. If you do good luck.''

You turn away from them and start walking, not caring what they do really. They all scramble to walk after you two by two. More whispering can be heard from them, only about you this time. You grumble under your breath as you keep a steady, fast pace. Soon you hear rustling all around you, the sound following you and the class. You smile and glance at the bushes to see wolves everywhere.

As you reach the clearing you run to the middle, sitting on the ground and opening your arms. The class looks at you confused form the tree line. A lot of rustling can be heard as around fifty wolves run towards you. The students yell and scream at you to move, but you just smile and ignore them. The wolves jump onto you and make a huge pile, liking all the skin they can touch.

You giggle fondly at your friends as the students run over to you worried, yelling your name and trying to get the wolves off. Some start growling as the pile on you gets smaller and smaller. You sit up once the last one leaves you, seeing they knocked you over, and look at the students who are trying to shoo the wolves away.

''What the fuck do you think you're all doing?'' You ask, getting up and walking over to them.

''(l/n)!'' They all exclaim relieved.

You sigh and pet the leader of the wolf pack. It's a big strong wolf. His fur is black while his stomach and snout are white. His eyes are fiery red. Once you pet the wolf he relaxes and so do the other wolves. You gently press against his head, signaling him to leave together with the pack. The wolf gives you a headbutt and walks off, the other wolves following.

''You guys really need to start listening. I can talk to animals, remember. The wolves are on my side and listen to me. Now, stand in a line and actually listen.''

Everyone nods and gets in line, Iida yelling at them while they do. After about three minutes they're all in line. You smile and whistle. It's high pitched and shrill. Some students winch at the sound of it. You glance to your right and see the leader running towards you with two others. The leader is called Hugo, the female that's with him is Scarlet and the other boy is Lumine.

''Okay, since you're a rather big group these three and the others will help me. None of the wolves will attack you, but stay alert, sometimes they might. You never know with these goofballs.'' You smile, ruffling the fur of Hugo.

''Anyway. The goal is to reach the top of that mountain without getting seriously injured and getting lost. If you're not there in eight hours that's your loss. That means no dinner and escort to the place you'll all be staying. I will leave a map there for the late comers. Now don't eat anything from plants, it could kill you.'' Yu ramble, making a motion for Hugo to get the bags, Hugo, Scarlet and Lumine run off as you smile at the students.

''I'll provide every group with a bag. In it are two water bottles, some apples, first aid kit and a fire gun. Only use the fire gun when something is very wrong. As soon as one is fired everyone goes to where it was fired from. Don't freak out when the wolves come. They're there to protect you if you're being attacked and can't venture for yourself.'' Hugo, Scarlet, Lumine and some other wolves walk over with bags.

''For people with fire related quirks, don't burn down the woods please. Try not to use your quirk, only when necessary. Now, make groups of three or four and come get a bag here.''

Everyone turns to each other and start talking, making groups. Slowly people are coming to you to pick up a bag. You tell them to wait with walking off and everyone complies. Once everyone has a group and bag you motion for Scarlet, Lumine and the other wolves to leave. You look at the class as you pet Hugo.

''I'll leave first. My tracks will be removed, so don't think about following them. Ten minutes after I have left the first group will leave. Ten minutes later the second and so forth. If you don't comply the wolves will take action to make sure you do. Now, see you all at the mountain.'' You smile, running off.

Hugo follows you as you run through the woods. You climb into a tree and start jumping from tree to tree, parcouring your way to the mountain. It only takes you about an hour or two to get there. You know some secret passages that are hidden from sight that get you places fast. As you reach the top you sit down on a bench and scratch Hugo behind the ears.

''You can go and run around the woods, spook the students a bit. I'll make some dinner for them. Go on.'' You smile.

Hugo licks you and runs off at full speed. You smile before walking to the campsite that's a good thirty minutes away from the mountain top you told them to go. Well, it's not really a mountain top, more like a flat spot beside a cave on the mountain. You make some sandwiches for the students before heading back to the place you told them to go.

As you get there you sit down on the bench again and look at the dense woods before you. Everywhere you look are trees, close to each other. Sometimes a line of trees gone because of a river or small lake. You hear someone run up to you and spot Scarlet running over to you. You frown slightly and pat your lap. She puts her head on it and looks up at you.

''What's wrong?'' You ask.

''The students. They're all teaming up.'' She says.

''Hmm. Collect a few wolves and drive them apart by hunting  them down.'' You smirk.

''Okay. I'll get some to help me.'' She grins.

Scarlet lifts her head from your lap and trots off, stance prideful. You giggle to yourself at her antics and continue looking at the woods and the birds and other wildlife. After a good half an hour you hear faint screaming and yelling coming from the woods. After a bit you hear something approach again. You look to your right and see Bakugou emerging from the treeline.

''Welcome.'' You smile.

''Fuck off. The extra's take to long. Ditched my group.'' He grumbles.

You scan him over and see no injuries of any kind. You do notice he doesn't have a bag however. You smile and get up, walking over to him.

''Follow me. I'll take you to the camp. You can drink and eat whatever you want. But please, don't leave the campsite just yet. The wolves are still on lower parts of the mountain and not here.'' You hum, motioning for him to follow you.

He does, not uttering a single word. As you both reach the campsite you let him walk around, pick a tent and eat and drink. You silently watch him as you scan the tree lines, expecting Scarlet or Hugo to come to you soon. Hugo because he's basically like your pet and Scarlet because you just gave her an order.

''You're something else.'' You hear a gruff voice say from behind you.

''I could say the same for you Bakugou.'' You smirk, turning to him.

''I know.'' He grins.

''Confident I see. I like that. Can come in handy at times. Means you won't hesitate.'' You say, walking past him to the table with food.

''I like your confidence too, extra.'' He grins, walking after you.

''You know Bakugou. Normally I don't like cocky people, but I got to admit. I might take a liking to you.''

''Normally I don't like people who fucking talk back to me either, yet I find myself drawn to you.'' He whispers softly into your ear as he wraps his arms around your waist.

''Hmm. I must say Katsuki, keeping secrets isn't your strong suite.'' You purr.

You met Katsuki years ago. You were seven at the time. He had ventured off deep into the woods while hiking. You had met him and you two started talking. After he left that day he would come back often, always meeting up with you. You had both kept everything a secret from everyone and started dating four years ago. Now a days Katsuki comes over less, but you two call and text.

''No ones here. What's to keep secret.'' He growls lowly, sending shivering down your spine.

''Damn you. You used one of my shortcuts didn't you?''

''So what if I fucking did?''

''Hmm, let me go Suki. The first people will start coming soon.'' You giggle.

''Stupid extra's.'' He grumbles, letting go off you.

''I know you don't like them. Now stay here with Scarlet while I go wait for the others with Hugo.'' You smile, spotting the two wolves standing close by.

Katsuki smirks and motions Scarlet to come over. Her black fur with a red glow to it shines in the sun. Her bright red eyes have a glint in them as she walks over to Katsuki. Katsuki sits down on the ground and Scarlet lays down beside him, head resting in his lap. Katsuki pets her while Hugo walks over to you.

The two of you walk to the spot you told everyone to go. You sit down on the bench and Hugo sits on the floor beside you, stance screaming authority. You smile and ruffle his fur before looking at the scenery again. Your mind wanders while you stare at it, memories flashing through your mind.

You get snapped out of your thought when you hear rustling and talking coming from the woods. You look to the right and see the class walking through the tree line. You smile and get up, walking over to them with Hugo following behind you. They all look tired and have scratches all over them.

''Welcome. Follow me to the campsite we'll be staying. Sharing a tent is necessary, but don't worry. You can pick yourself.'' You smile, heading towards the campsite. ''Hugo, go warn them.'' You smile.

Hugo runs off without a word towards the camp. You follow him with your gaze, a smile on your face.

''He seems attatched to you.'' A male voice says from beside you.

''Yeah. We're both leaders.'' You smile, looking beside you to see Kirishima.

''Have you seen Bakugou by any chance? He split up from us and we haven't seen him since.''

''He's been at the camp for a while now. Don't worry.''

''He has an advantage.'' Kirishima mumbles.

''How come?''

''He hikes a lot. Clears his mind as he always says when we ask. When he comes back from hiking he is always calm though, so I guess it works for him.''

''Yeah, hiking does wonders for the mind.'' You giggle.

The two of you talk some more as you all walk. As you reach the camp you see Scarlet and Hugo goofing around as Katsuki sits on a chair by the fire, grumbling to himself while he does. You giggle and turn to the class.

''There are sandwiches on the table same for drinks. When that's all settled you can pick a tent to sleep in. There is a change of clothes in the boxes by the fire. Look for whatever fits you. There is a river if you follow the path. Don't go without telling me please. Now do whatever you want.'' You smile, walking over to the grumbling Katsuki.

''Why you so grumpy?'' You whisper, sitting close by him, but not too close.

''The fuckers are here. Can't be close with you now.'' He growls.

''Don't worry. I know you're strong enough to keep acting for a little while longer.'' You smile.

''Yeah yeah.'' He grumbles.

The rest of the week you and Katsuki go to secret spots to just be together. As the week ends you all bring them back to UA and wave them goodbye before heading back to the woods. Katsuki and his classmates go back to the dorms and take long showers while talking about their intens week.

As they all meet up in the dorms that evening to talk about the weekend they all agree on one thing. Katsuki has taken a liking to you. While he was around you he wouldn't yell, walk off, curse that much or use his quirk. Things he does around everyone. They also noticed how you were softer on him and how you kept looking for him.

''We should set them up for a date.'' Ashido states.

''How are we going to find them though?'' Yaoyorozu asks.

''Simple, we go back to the woods. They are bound to find us. They said it before, the wolves are everywhere. And they won't attack us because we spend a whole week with them.'' Ashido says.

''How are we getting Bakubro to agree?'' Kirishima asks.

''That's what we have you for.'' Ashido smirks.

''I knew it.'' Kirishima sighs.

''You're the only one he doesn't blow up on that bad.'' Kaminari says.

''And who's going to get them?'' Sero asks.

''I haven't figured that out.'' Ashido admits.

''Well, Kirishima should go. If the wolves do attack he can protect us.'' Yaoyorozu says.

''I ain't going alone. Kami is coming with me. He can stun them.'' Kirishima says.

''Deal. Okay when is the date gonna be?'' Ashido asks.

''How about upcoming Saturday?'' Hagakure suggests.

''Works.'' Everyone says.

They keep planning before going to bed. It's Sunday right now and the upcoming week they all have off to recover from the intens week of training and to make sure they make all the homework. The next morning they all wake up at a normal time and eat breakfast together. After breakfast Katsuki goes up to his room and gets changed into his hiking clothes.

''Where are you going bro?'' Kirishima asks when he notices Katsuki walking to the big doors of the dorms.

''Hiking.'' Katsuki grumbles, opening the door.

''Can I come along? (l/n) said it does wonders to the mind.'' Kirishima smiles.

''No. It only fucking works when you're alone. Now fuck off.'' Katsuki grumbles, walking out of the dorms.

Once he's out of UA he runs to the woods and up to the cabin you live in. Along the way he spots Scarlet and grins at her. She runs beside him as they approach your cabin. As he spots it he sees you working in your garden with Hugo watching you. Hugo is your wolf and Scarlet his. For some reason the two of them really clicked.

''Hey Baby.'' Katsuki smirks as he walks over to you.

''Hey Suki.'' You smile, getting up and giving him a kiss.

The next four days Katsuki goes to you everyday for the whole day. The class notices him going hiking everyday and grow suspicious. They decide to follow him this time. So when Katsuki leaves UA the Baku-squad follows after him. They notice he's going to the woods, pace a bit faster than usual.

They follow him into the woods and see him walking down a path they didn't notice before. They frown, but shrug it off. Their eyes widen when they see Scarlet walk up to Katsuki and casually walking beside him. Katsuki ruffles her fur with a bright smile on his face. After a bit he reaches your cabin and walks over to the door. The squad looks at him curiously.

''Oi!'' Katsuki yells, walking up to your frontdoor.

''Yeah, yeah. Give me a damned second Suki.'' You call out to him from inside.

After a few seconds your door opens and you give him a kiss, which he gladly returns.

''You know they're here right?'' You whisper against his lips.

''I don't give a fuck. They wanted to set us up for a date Saturday anyway.''

''Aww, you just ruined a free date.''

''Shut up.''

You giggle as you pull away from Katsuki, looking past him at his friends.

''Hey guys! Nice seeing you again!'' You wave.

MIDORIYA IZUKU

♤ You never knew he’s a science nerd until he questions the principles of your quirk. It’s quite a complex quirk if you do say so yourself. However, talking about your quirk is actually exciting, especially with someone like Midoriya who’s always willing to listen to whatever you’re saying. This guy, as usual, is jotting down notes at the speed of light which makes you wonder whether his writing is still legible. Even though you try to keep it as simple as possible by telling him what you could do with your quirk, like being able to melt through thick metal walls, block shockwaves, disintegrate objects and make a shield ― he seems more interested in how it works. So, get some refreshments ready and prepare yourself mentally cause this is going to take a while.

♤ This guy is still a nerd and nothing can change that. It doesn’t apply to your quirk only. He’s super interested in your artificial eye and arm. You were given the freedom to customize your artificial body parts, so you often sneak of to the Department of Support. One of your weaknesses is that you needed to take a certain time to aim with your quirk but your artificial eye made it easy for you to aim as it allows you to track movements. Originally there’s a limit to how much power you can use but thanks to your new arm, you were able to go beyond your limits when using your ability.

♤ He trains with you everyday and helps you make up for your weaknesses. You like to test your output during training session but you were always careful with it since the backlash and blow away your body and break your arm. Having a quirk like this really intimidates people because it’s capable of destroying a person in seconds. When Midoriya watches you melt through even the thickest of metal, he’s mentally taking note not to piss you off. But of course, you wouldn’t hurt this boy, he’s too precious.

♤ Oh but the way he looks at you after every mission you come back from. You’re usually just tired and there’s nothing you’d like but to lay down on the bed with him right now. He would be all over your face, babbling about how cool you looked in TV, beating up all the villains with your quirk. Midoriya could go on for hours, just praising and rambling on about your most recent success. You have to shut him up with a kiss and thank him with a smile before you could continue with your plan to laze around with your lover.

AIZAWA SHOUTA

☆ Aizawa isn’t born with an offensive quirk and he’s never the type to stand out. He would be someone who supports instead of leading the attack. He’s super amazed with what your quirk is capable of, going as far as to say that you’re a destructive hero. This guy knows people without actually meeting them because he actually keeps up with news. He learns that you’ve actually lost an arm and eye from a villain attack a year ago. His respect towards you grew when you continue to work as a hero, with an artificial arm and eye which makes up for your weaknesses.

☆ Genuinely amazed at the amount of power you hold in your hands. Your quirk was very destructive and honestly, with your quirk, you could blow up an entire city if you wanted to. Of course you couldn’t do that because as a hero, you have to keep the causalities and damage to surrounding structures to a minimum. He’s definitely the guy on the sidelines telling you not to cause any more damage and destroy the surrounding buildings. But you end up destroying nearby buildings and most of your money goes to repairs.

☆ Super proud of you and is very secretive of that. Aizawa had the TV on once during his day off. Originally he planned on making himself some coffee until he changed to the news channel to see that there was a villain attack. And what’s more, when he hears someone mention your name, he forgets his coffee. He would be at his couch, watching intently like a kid watching their anime. You bet this guy is cheering for you to beat up some villain ass and by the end of the battle, he will be super proud, like a dad watching their daughter win some sports festival. If only you knew he was usually like this.

☆ He is a very attentive lover. Aizawa pays close attention to you, he’s the one reminding you to check your limbs regularly and accompanies you to get them repaired if there’s anything wrong with them. If by any chance, you do your own repairs, he’s there to help you despite not knowing much. There were the days where you would have to rest your arm and can’t really do anything much, he will be taking care of you, buying you food and all that. He might not look like it but he is one great caretaker, he’s usually lazing around the house but when you’re injured or something, he’s up and doing everything he can for you.

HAWKS (TAKAMI KEIGO)

♡ Bird man never realized he’s into strong women until he laid his eyes on you for the first time. As a Pro Hero who’s rising in the ranks steadily, it was no surprise that Hawks have heard news of you before. This guy thought you would’ve retired after that one mission that cost your eye and arm. But look and behold, you were alive, kicking and patrolling like usual. Hawks is amazed that you’re still working as a hero instead of taking a break from being a hero. You should’ve seen the look on his face when you used your quirk to completely disintegrate the car that the villain threw your way. He was in love and awe.

♡ Low-key thinks that you look super hot when you’re using your quirk. And of course, being the cheesy guy he is, he will make stupid pick up lines and puns related to your quirk. He’s the type of guy who would get to know you through an unorthodox method. You both would coincidentally bump into each other during patrol or a villain attack. He flirts openly with you, saying cheesy things about how you melted his heart or something along those lines.

♡ Hawks has this tendency to mess around with someone. This is done in various methods, whether by teasing, making stupid jokes or small little harmless pranks. He tends to mess around with you for the sake of getting an interesting reaction from you. Of course, you didn’t mind because you thought it was kind of endearing. But there are just those times where he can’t read the atmosphere and decide to pester you when you’re in a bad mood. You would threaten to burn his wings off with your quirk. If he chooses not to believe you, you would hold your quirk in a ball-shaped stationary form to show how serious you are.

♡ Helps you with repairing your limbs! But usually he uses this as an excuse to touch you. He’s not that smart with gadgets and you should know that more than anyone else. Even so, Hawks likes to keep you company while you work on repairs. He will occasionally disturb you to gain your attention. When he’s feeling extra generous, he would make some coffee or tea for you. Not only that, he might actually bring some food for you though it’s all take out because he can’t cook for shit.

I hate bkg a lot too but I think the “he should become quirkless” thing might backfire bc hori would definitely spin it so bkg ends up having everyone’s support and i saw someone mention if this happen the likely hood of bkg suddenly being a support tech genius n making a device that mimics his quirk thus rendering the quirkless bit null is high like hori’s favoritism for bkg is going to prevent him from getting any real long lasting consequences plus imagine Izuku seein bkg getting all of 1/2

2/2 of the support he never got it would feel like a punch to the gut, so I feel like there has to b a diff consequence

3/2 wait just thought of something else, since bkg revealed he abused Izuku bc he was “scared of his selflessness bc he couldn’t understand it” hori would def spin it so bkg would act like him being quirkless makes him even more superior than everyone else, hori would also play of the “making fun of Izuku for bein quirkless” as something to coverup his ‘fear’ of Izuku’s selflessness n act like he never actually hated quirkless ppl but just used it as the obvious reason to abuse izuku

yeah, I think the longer I sit on it, the less that idea would really work. (and I’ll cut here just so this isn’t dragging along someone’s dash deubfjed sorry, I think I rambled my way towards my ideas since I wasn’t really sure how to word them)

as you pointed out, there’s a still a big difference in power for someone who was born quirkless (izu) and someone who becomes quirkless, while previously owning a powerful quirk that they would probably have returned to them (as well as a possible discriminatory streak against quirkless people disguised as fear, as you mentioned. in other words: bakugou). so yes, there would be a possibility for all the things you mentioned to happen and there would be a lot of potential for essentially invalidating the experiences that izu went through (and what I’m sure quirkless people in general experience) before getting ofa by giving bk the love/support/attention that the other didn’t wasn’t apparently worth receiving.

someone in a gc I’m in also brought it to my attention that using quirkless!bakugou as a plot device kind of makes it seem like the worst thing a person could be is quirkless, as if people like that are not still capable of being good people deserving of good things and participation in heroics just like everyone else (so take Melissa, for example, from the Two Heroes movie). the identity, being quirkless in that case, shouldn’t be treated like a punishment that could be dished out to characters because that takes away from the worth of people who are born/live their everyday lives as quirkless and makes it seem like their existence is inherently bad in some way (i feel like I’m not making this point well but beuwbndnwndkwm)

I talked about liking the idea of him losing his quirk previously because I thought maybe that would help his perspective of izu change/improve since he’d experience some of what izuku did first hand, but really it would be too different of an experience for bakugou since there’s such a disparity in their given circumstances (and well as the possibility of any of the outcomes you mentioned taking place which would Suck Very Much) so yes... I don’t know if that’s something I want to see anymore.

BNHA rambles: The quirk apprehension test

.Okay so as I said, this is a special part in my rambles dedicated to the quirk apprehension test in episode 5-6.

-First of all I think Aizawa is smart to do that3. I mean this kids are going to spend the next 3 years of their life training to put their life in danger to save other. This is a huge responsibility (that probably shouldn’t be put on the shoulder of 15-16 year old teens but that neither here nor there), and they need to realise that. They can’t be here to play and they need to be ready to give it their best

-In the same vein the little speach about unfairness and how heroes are the onethat have to try and bring back some fairness is 1) totally true,2) something they need to realise now and t3) add to what I was saying before

-As for the threat of explusion, I would have called it a dirty trick if he hadn’t been 100% serious about it and I also think it caracterise Aizawa teaching methode. He is a really harsh teacher, more likely to use the stick than the carrot. But that because he care about them. Because as he said there’s nothing worst than loosing your dream when your halway ther. Especially since faillure in their line of works mean death.

-Now that doesn’t mean that he could be a little less of a bastard when he announce it.

Now that the general overview is done, lets go over some details:

-Seeing class 1A finding how to use their quirk was pretty impressive.

-Having some insight about how smart Bakugo can be especially about the use of his own quirk was interresting, as was seeing the best performance of some of the other student.

Now onto the negatif:

-Aizawa having it out for Izuku is pretty bad wich I’m going to extand on afterwards.

-Speaking of Izuku, WTF eraserhead? You do not let a 15 year old child continue in what is basiclly a sport competion with a broken finger. You could tell me ‘but hero will have to be able to fight injure’ and I’ll answer that I don’t care. This is the first day of school, you have a medic on site who can heal him in a matter of second meaning you don’t even loose time. I mean even if he wanted for Izuku to have to face the consequences of his action the fact that he would hve been really tired would have been a good enough disadventage.

-I mean really, I know Aizawa doesn’t know about Izuku past or his self sacrifying streak, but by making him continue to do the test injured he’s basically telling him that this is normal, and that he should continue to fight while injured, and this coupled with the bellitling of Iizuku past teacher is just a golden ticket to encourage Izuku self destructive tendancy.

(Yes I’m mad about this)

-Also I know he said he wasn’t going to explain how he marked those score but I would like Aizawa to tell me how he did it. Because it can’t have been just the result because there’s no way Izuku would have been last. I mean my boy Izuku can walk around while carrying All Might (who weight 255kg) and just had ten months of extremely intensive training. Theres no way he scored this low (we only see the best result for most of the test and we know that he was at least a bit faster than Uraraka. So... This results don’t make sence.

-I mean he probably took into account the ways they use their quirk and their creativity (Bc I don’t think Eraser would be one to do a so blatlantly biased test for physical quirk when he himself doesn’t have one). But even tking that into account it’s still pretty clear that he had it out for Izuku because how did Toru even use her quirk? She’s litterally just being invisible. Same with Jirou or kaminari whose quirk cannot have been that usefull.

(On a lighter note, Yaorosu seeing that psychopatic hobo of a teacher that is eraserhead threatening their classes of expulsion and thinking he’s joking, oh my sweet summer child)

Also Aizawa creepy smile at being both surprised and proud of Izuku solution and realising he has potential, I love it

Now onto Aizawa having it out for Izuku and why it is bad

-I’ll start by saying that I understand where Aizawa is comming from. I mean you teach bunch of kids trying to becaume what is basically superpowered soldier who will have to put their live on the line everyday, and then you’re faced with an overpowered kid that visibly doesn’t have any controle over a quirk you hink he had for at least 10 years... Yeah I’d be mad too and if those information had been wright I would have totally agreed with his reaction.

(I would also like to know why he doesn’t know the fact that izuku didn’t have a quirk until like a month ago but that another can of worm that we’re not gonna open today)

-I als get the lecture he gives Izuku because it’s true that he cant go around breaking his limbs, because it WILL make him a liability and highen his chance of getting killed

But his assumption are false and that’s why I think his reaction is bad (I haven’t go farther than episode 7 so some of the reaction I’m talking about are probably more fanon than canon at this point but I’m still going to write them):

-First he’s acting just like every other teacher Izuku ever had, meaning he’s belittling him and his dream, using his quirk against him (which, while it is legal and not harmfull here, is just like we saw at least one of his middle school teacher do), putting him on the spot and tearing into him in front of everyone and while no one laugh here this was the exact same situation he was faced with everyday in school before.

-Let’s add to the quirk usage the fact that it is erasure, so Izuku must have had a moment of pure panic because the quirk he just received, the one that finally made him ‘normal’, just disapeared without notice and that even for a second he must hav wondered if he had become quirkless again before hearing aizawa say it’s his quirk doing it. (quick reminder that up until now they didn’t know who their teacher really was nor did they know his quirk)

-Does anyone think that Izuku is scared of Erasure? O r at least uneasy about it everytime it’s used against him?

-Also he told Izuku that he was basically useless and that he couldn’t be a hero. Which is what everyone told him up to now but it’s even worst because he says that ‘with this power’ he can’t be a hero, which could basically be translated in Izuku’s mind by even with his new quirk, he’s still worthless.

-And while that’s speach hurt Me, it visibly hurt Izuku too. And even if he was able to use it to find a solution that doesn’t mean the hurt is gone.

All of this to says that while it wasn”t Aizawa attention, he just put Izuku right into a copy of the toxic environment he had been raised in. Which probbly mean that he didn’t trust Aizawa at all at least until USJ, (bc everyone know there’s no beter way to show you care than nerly dying to protect them) and was probably really wary of him for a petty long time even afterwards. And by extention he probably felt the same way around every other teacher except for all might which must have made him really skittish and really tensed and it can’t have been the nicest experience.

Which make me wonder if he would have trust any of his teacher without the USJ

(Lets make this worse by sying that he can’t know for sure that Aizawa doesn’t know he used to be quirkless and he treats him that way because of that (we know he doesn’t but anxiety is a bitch and she like to take hold of the most minuscule doubt and make it seems possible)

Okay, that was a lot but, yeah that sum up my thought pretty well on the whole ordeal. See you next part

If you don't like something he made he would much rather you told him than hiding your disgust to not hurt his feelings

He knows he needs to improve so he really appreciates your hard critique if your willing to give it

Although he blushes and gets extremely flustered every time you do it, he loves when you flirt with him

Reminds him how much you love him and thats really reassuring for him

He's just a totally softy for you

His love language is more acts of affection, such as cleaning up your room when your busy, or going out to buy you snacks before shark week

he falls for you first. how could he not? you’re so sweet, kind, funny, pretty and so amazing!! he really, really, really likes you!

is constantly flustered around you. you make eye-contact and he literally almost faints.

finds it very hard to pay attention in class because of you. you’re just too pretty and cute and ah!!!

this poor boy. he’s absolutely w h i p p e d for you. and once he realises it, he falls in even deeper.

super jumpy and flustered around you.

in training, if you execute a move perfectly or kick someone’s ass, he’s blushing because you’re such a badass!! and you’re so hot!!

bonus points if you talk back to bakugo. izuku is so impressed and thinks you’re brave!!

izuku will offer to help you if you’re struggling in class with something. he’s is super smart and hard-working, so he’d offer to share his notes, tutor you after school, etc. while blushing like a tomato

lowkey stalks and takes notes of what your preferences are, what kind of pens you use, what movies you like, etc. he can’t help it!! everything you do is just so interesting to him

suddenly takes an interest in all the things that you like and joins clubs your in. uraraka and iida take notice of course, and tease him mercilessly. tsui, kaminari, and most of 1-a joins in teasing him as well when they find out. even bakugo joins in.

when deku and his heart finally can’t take it anymore, he will literally give pep-talks to himself in the mirror and practice confessing to you. he writes dozens of scripts, does research, asks classmates for help (mineta and denki were NOT helpful) and tries to come up with the perfect plan to ask you out.

buys some flowers + snacks he knows you like, etc.

you kinda get the feeling that he likes you because he’s always hovering, not too close but not far away either. he also always tries to talk to you, about anything or anything, but stutters or clams up. he’s honestly such a cute mess though.

 izuku decides to shoot his shot. he says the sweetest things when he confesses. he presents small gifts to you while rambling about everything he likes about you, how he fell for you so hard, how you make his heart jump, etc. he makes his strong emotions for you VERY clear. he ends with a shy “Will you go out with me?” and promises to try his very best to make you happy every day.

you are ecstatic, of course. he might start crying when you say yes to him. honestly, baby boy is just so overwhelmed and relieved that you like him back too.

will hug tightly you out of sheer joy and thank you again and again for giving him a chance. honestly, 100% a cutie and boyfriend material.

bakugo katsuki

thinks you’re annoying at first. doesn’t care much about you, but somehow, you catch his attention.

you don’t let him get away w/his bs or you almost kick his ass in a fight. either way, he’s impressed by you and your personality.

you two develop a playful yet intense rivalry of sorts. he mocks you, you sneer back at him, and so it goes. izuku is terrified by your relationship with bakugo.

aizawa had to break up a few of your first squabbles, but slowly, they become less violent and more teasing. he’s surprised and won’t admit impressed by your sharp tongue and quick wit.

slowly, bakugo warms up to you. he gives you advice during training and class and takes more notice of you. he even willingly pairs up with you sometimes!! you keep him on his toes and always challenge him to become a better version of himself, so naturally, he gravitates to you.

one day, in class, everyone catches bakugo smiling at you. not in a malicious way, but in a soft, almost fond look. you’re laughing at something bakugo said, and he’s just staring at you, taking in your beauty.

he’s also more sincere and appreciative of the things you do for him. like saving a seat for him at lunch, sharing your notes, etc. he’s not 100% nice to you, but he doesn’t insult you as much. tends to give backhanded compliments like “you’re not as shitty as the others”, etc. 

class 1-a is shook. they have never seen bakugo be like this?? ever??

kirishima will confront bakugo about you. bakugo realises that he’s fallen for you.

cue angry denial and a lot of explosive screaming (rip kirishima)

tries to push you away first, but soon realises that he hates not being around you. so, he probably just yells at you a lot more when you do something cute because it flusters him.

pining bakugo = aggressive bakugo

everyone knows he likes you except you. it’s so obvious, but no one says anything because they fear bakugo’s wrath.

also bakugo will make sure to hide his feelings for you because he kinda sees you as a distraction sometimes from his ultimate goal of becoming #1. he’ll struggle with accepting his own feelings but will ultimately accept them because he realises that you help him become a better person.

he’s not a very romantic guy, so he’d probably just walk up to you and demand your attention to ask you out. he slams a hand into your desk and you look up from your book, confused.

he gives you one of his kinda-backhanded compliment and asks you out. he’s all confident and smirking, but he’s screaming on the inside. he doesn’t know what he’d do if you rejected him.

lucky for him, you like him back too. says that you made “a good choice” when you accept his date, but he’s secretly so. happy. is smiling for the rest of the day. class 1-a is kinda scared bc he looks like he’s plotting a murder.

kirishima is elated that you two are dating and you two quickly become best friends.

you walk into class one day holding hands with bakugo. everyone notices of course. kaminari and mineta wolf-whistle and katsuki starts to charge over to their desks, but a simple kiss on the cheek immediately calms him down.

he blushes and tries to play it off but he secretly really likes it

you are now considered a god in class 1-a. everyone is impressed and terrified of you b/c you somehow managed to tame the explosive hot-head.

you two become good friends first before he starts developing feelings for you.

you’re smart, pretty and nice to him. he likes you.

he starts hanging out with you, studying with you, training with you. he likes that he doesn’t have to fill the space with small talk. you both respect each other a lot, and he likes how kind and patient you are.

he’s still learning social norms so he’s trying super hard to engage in conversations. he likes to hear you talk and builds off of what you say.

todoroki doesn’t really understand his crush on you at first. he just kinda goes with his gut, tries to spend more time with you, talk to you more, etc.

he takes interests in the things you like and makes sure to talk about them with you.

he probably talks to his mom about you a lot. one day, his mom asks him if he has feelings for you.

uh oh. todoroki realises that he may like you more than just a friend.

he’s really conflicted once he figures out that he like likes you. he may shut himself off a bit to clear his head, but once he straightens out his feelings, he comes back and apologizes for avoiding you.

you forgive him but are quite confused. you understand he has a troubled past and is a complex person because of it, and do your best to accept him for who he is.

he really likes you though. how gentle and serene you are, and how you always encourage him to be himself. he appreciates it so much.

you’re like his anchor, and you see him through his aloof and cold exterior. only certain people can do that, so he really cherishes you.

you make him feel safe and comfortable. you also don’t tease him so much when he doesn’t understand social cues, and instead, teach him what they mean.

todoroki would actually be fairly good at hiding his crush on you. he doesn’t want it to change the friendship you have with him.

he’d probably analyse the way you act around him, trying to figure out if you had a crush on him or not too. did you like him too? would you even be interested in dating someone like him?

he eats lunch with you everyday and partners up with you in class. he’ll also ask to study with you, despite having a reputation of working alone.

class 1-a is secretly rooting for you two but is also confused with your relationship. todoroki hides his emotions well, so are you two just friends or is there something more…?

todoroki confesses at the most unexpected time. it’s out of the blue, probably in the spur of a moment thing, when he’s overcome with strong emotions for you. it catches you and him off guard when he does.

he simply blurts out and admits that he has feelings for you and asks if you would like to pursue a relationship with him. smiling, you of course agree.

externally, he’s calm as ever, but internally, he’s super excited.

makes plans for a date immediately and can’t wait to take you out.

class 1-a is surprised but happy and supportive of your relationship. they didn’t actually expect todoroki of all people to ask someone out. they’re super happy that you’re helping todoroki come out of his shell!
