Wriochiluc but it's Wirothesley patching Childe's injuries in prison after foul legacy because he knows Diluc cares about him. So by extension he does too in a way. Meanwhile Childe is trying his best to convince him to a fight because he heard how strong he is from Diluc

Hi hello! I hope your having a good day
This might be a little boring but what about a Percy x reader childhood friends to lovers?
Percy had a fat crush on reader growing up (and never gets over them) but then he was swept away to camp half blood so suddenly so he didn’t have time to say anything to reader, and because of the no cellphone rule at camp reader is like all up in their feels thinking their best friend just left without telling them. So when reader sees Percy at school in the winter they kinda avoid him assuming that he was doing the same, basically they drift apart.
But a year or two later, it turns out reader is also a Demi god just found out later in life maybe a child of Apollo or smt, so they come to camp and they see Percy and suddenly everything is making sense, like why he left on such a short notice why he never contacted them, etc. then Percy and reader just have this little catch up where they realize they still have feelings for each other ,but are maybe too nervous to admit because they don’t wanna ruin their friendship again?
It’s so cliché I know, but I’m such a sucker for the childhood friends to lovers trope.
Percy with a Childhood Friend
Omg this is so CUTE ARGGH!! This is my second time writing this cuz I accidentally deleted everything the first time </3
It’s a little long since I wanted to somewhat incorporate a story🔥 not proofread🔥🔥
Edit: I finished proofreading this and DAMN there were a lot of errors💀💀 do not write when ur about to pass out guys💀
Tumblr media
This is literally the cutest idea EVER!!
You guys would totally become friends because of your mutual confusion with school💀 Like you both bond over struggling with school and immediately grow closer
Since he could remember, Percy always had a harder time learning the materials in school and was outcasted for it in a way
So when you sit next to him during recess and start talking to him out of nowhere, he knows you guys are gonna be stuck with each other for a long time
Since you're basically his first friend, in like forever, he can't help the growing feeling he has for you
The way you brightly smile at him when he asks for help on a reading he can’t quite seem to grasp, or the way you patch him up after getting into a fight with one of the bullies
You’re just like the light in his life, you’re warm presence immediately settling his anxiousness
You guys are stuck together like glue and no one can seem to separate you both, something that many have tried to do
Percy believes that nothing can get better than this honeymoon phase in your friendship, swearing that he’s going to confess his small crush on you and everything😭
Until he’s kicked out of school and your family moves away and you begin attending Yancy Academy💀💀
Percy is obviously just as heart broken as you
So for the next few years, Percy faces all these new schools alone and gets kicked out of all them
And when he’s sent to Yancy Academy and finally reunited with you again, he quite literally JUMPS on you
Like this boy is SO HAPPY to see you omg
That spark never left between the two of you and you both make up for lost time
So while school is still the same, getting to see you everyday now is a game changer for Percy
The buried feelings come back full force, your warm and bright smile still making him feel gooey inside after all this time
And you’re just as nervous to him too cuz AHHH!! Childhood crush is back!!
Of course we all know how this ends, Percy is unfortunately kicked out of school again and you’re both heartbroken in the end
Percy leaves mysteriously while you’re wondering where he went
You question Grover on the boys disappearance, the satyr giving you a nervous look while saying Percy didn’t feel quite right attending the school
Which confused and hurt you because Percy had said you made going to this prison worth it
Percy never got to say his goodbyes and is suddenly dragged into the half blood life, continuing his life with danger at every corner
Even after going on all these exciting and dangerous quests, years later Percy will never be able to stop his mind from straying to the one he let get away
He feels regret for the most part and probably thinks you hate him for leaving you so suddenly💀
He often wonders what your doing
Maybe your reading a book from that one author you like
Or maybe you’ve picked up a new hobby. Last time he saw you, you did mention you’ve had this strong urge to learn archery
School starts again and Percy is once again sent to a new school
He’s already anticipating going to camp next year but is immediately caught off guard when he sees you in the distance in one of the school halls
It’s LITERALY like time slows down
His eyes widen when he makes eye contact with you, the light hitting your face in a certain angle that makes you look ethereal
He feels his heart speeding up when your recognize him from the distance
Your face is scrunched up in confusion and then hurt, quickly looking away from him and walking down a different hallway
He’s so happy to see a familar face that he doesn’t even think about how you might be feeling after not seeing him these past few years
Percy looks different. Hes way taller than he was before. His hair is longer and messier, but makes it work. His face is more defined, skin glowing even under the florescent lights
You can’t deny the way your heart skipped a beat at seeing Percy again but everything crumbles down when you remember his unannounced departure from Yancy Academy
‘He could’ve at least told me’ you bitterly think while slamming your locker
Yeah you would avoid him like the plague while school’s in session
Walking in the opposite direction when you see him and avoiding his eyes when he tries to get your attention during class
It isn’t until when a monster interrupts the formal winter dance that you finally speak to him
Percy is trying his best to fight off the monster when it knocks him to the ground with a force that has him hackling for air
That’s when you come to the rescue
“Percy get down!”
“Y/N?!”
With a bow and arrow in hand, you aim for the beast with such precision and confidence, he stares in amazement as you single handily slay the monster with one arrow
He unfortunately has to flee the scene when he hears people barreling down the hallways, anxious to see all the commotion he caused
Yeah he gets to camp early that year💀
And when this guy sees you at camp during the summer, everything suddenly clicks in his head
The way you could see the monster and WERENT affected by the mist
Your scary accurate hit with a bow that seemingly came out of nowhere
And even the way the sun would shine in your favor in random moments
When you see Percy though, your confusion is maxed out. Was this why he left? Why you were never able to get ahold of him?
Yeah things are a little awkward during this time
While you’re put into the Apollo cabin after being claimed and adjusting to camp, Percy finds a hard time to talk to you
He’s SUPER excited knowing you’re a half blood too
He doesn’t have to worry about keeping any secrets from you and can tell you all about his journey throughout the years!!!
But fate seems to pull you and him further apart, bit by bit
He’s forced to hear your contagious laughter from afar during dinner, watching with soft eyes as your siblings surround you, nudging you suggestively when they catch him staring at you
You look over to him and send him a shy smile, in which he would perk up at finally getting your attention :D
After that night, things get a little easier
He’s still dragged away whenever he tries to approach you, but now he isn’t the only one trying to talk
You both wave whenever you see each other
Percy still stares at you whenever a camper tries asking him a question
While you try to walk up to him, he’s magically bombarded by other campers crowding him
He would push past them all to finally get to you after you nod your head to the side, urging him to follow you
“Yeah you know what guys? How about we catch up with this during the campfire! Yeah yeah, totally, see ya!”
He’s jogging up to you as you both walk the shore
“Well aren’t you popular here.” You say with a sly smile
“Oh yeah, I’m kinda known around camp. I’ve had a few uh, memorable, moments.” This dude is blushing like crazy cuz FINALLY! He’s finally alone with you!
After settling everything between you two, once again you’re stuck together
Training together despite your different weapons, doing activities together is a new norm
Except things are different this time
Percy isn’t the shy boy he was when he was young
He’s more confident and wants to make his intentions know to you
While he shows you how to use his sword during training, you guys already know he’s placing his hands over yours to show you the ‘correct placement’
So sly teehee
During the art and craft activities , he’s suggesting you guys to make a matching bracelet
His smooth flirting isn’t missed by you and you’re literally having a HEARTATTACK
You aren’t used to Percy being so bold, buts it’s honestly such a nice change of pace
He would definitely confess his feelings after dinner near the shore
And despite his suave attitude the past weeks, he’s so clumsy when he reveals his feelings for you
“So um, I like y- wait. Ok ok, sorry. What I wanted to say is that like, I like you. A lot actually. For a while. And you know it’s completely fine if you don’t, but I hope you like me the same because this would be really embarrassing for me-“
“Percy! It’s ok um! I like you too. A lot.”
It’s SUPER CHEESY BUT LIKE
COME ON
HES GIVING YOU PUPPY DOG EYES WHEN YOU SAY THAT AND UGH
He’s would totally lift you up and spin you around because he’s so HAPPY
Bro finally got his crush😭😭
He’s so sweet to you like bro
Always hyping you up during mock battles, cheering you on during camp games even if you’re aren’t on the same team
You already know he’s willing to lay down his life for you😭
And you wouldn’t hesitate to do the same even if he begs you not to say that (he doesn’t want to even think of the thought of you leaving him)
He’s an extremely affectionate person, pda is his middle name
If you aren’t that comfortable with pda though, he’ll settle with just holding your hand. He’ll just cuddle you later in private😻🔥🔥
But of course you guys are still best friends so you both would still clown the other if one of you does something stupid
He would love it if you play with his hair
He would be sitting in front of you during the campfire while you’re on a log seat when you brush some hair away from his face.
You rub his head a bit and Percy would lean his head into your hands.
When you’re done you pull away only for your boyfriend to bring your hands back to his hair, silently asking you to continue (UGHHHH MY HEART)
Sally loves you and is supportive of you guys (your number one supporter)
She invites you to have dinner with them and how could you refuse😩
Percy is so down bad for you and always brags about how long you both have known each other and how close you are
Like no one cares but he’ll just keep and talking about you to anyone around
Sometimes when you bunk in his cabin for a night or two, he likes talking about the past and how far you’ve both come
It’s during these nights where he’ll get emotional, maybe cry because he’s so grateful he has you in his life
You would kiss his tears away (SCREAMING)
Overall, childhood friends to lovers works out PERFECTLY with Percy. He values your friendship as much as he values your relationship
He knows you better than anyone in your life, has seen different versions of yourself and has always stuck by your side, through thick and thin💔

drop some kilia and/or seren lore
whoa okay there is very little so you’ll have to bear with me as i make shit up as i go. i feel bad for the two of them, they never really took off or integrated into the story, but they kind of exist in my brain anyways.
killia came from a family who got rich off of a bunch of illegal shit. usually the income came from taking part in organized crime (wooo idrisian mafia), but pretty much anything substantial that made them discreet but solid money they would take up. so killia grew up wealthy, but of a low social class and therefore extremely unlike any of the other wealthy characters.
he was also exposed to a lot of anti-government sentiment by proxy when he was young. his parents had little personal opinion on the government and were mostly negligent in their parenting. but the proximity to illegality lent itself to dissent, and killia absorbed what was around him like a sponge. as he grew up, he became increasingly outspoken; this posed a huge problem for his parents, who couldn’t give less of a shit about political justice, but were endangered by their child drawing attention to himself. so when killia was sent to reform school, which basically fucks you over for life in idris, his parents just left him to rot. obviously this only fueled killia’s sedition, and within reform school he was able to meet likeminded people, i.e. rowen and evander. this is tangential, but i like to say that killia and rowen dated for a few months while they were there before the experience made them realize they were both gay. anyways. he was super important in r&e’s plan to burn the whole prison school down, and after they did he just kind of stuck around with them. he’s known them for about a decade now and they’re all really close friends. killia is much more bookish and sensitive than either rowen or evander, but he’s also really damn passionate and dedicated to the cause. he’d go down fighting.
i know even less about seren than i do about killia whoa!
seren grew up in a small, isolated community of adherents to idris’s Ancient Religion which is currently unnamed and undefined. i know extremely little about the religion’s practices or history, but followers of it in present idris are an extreme minority who are shunned by society. the fringes of people left who still live according to it are mostly concentrated in communities like the one seren grew up in, secluded in the mountains or forests.
seren speaks very little and gets a lot done. he’s still an avid believer in Ancient Religion and practices on his own, but after suffering extreme mental illness and childhood trauma because of the community’s isolation, he made the decision to leave for idris’s capital halcyon city at about 17.
living in the capital was also very traumatic at first. he had no experiences or skills suited to an urban setting, and his mental illness and fear of persecution prevented him from integrating. he met killia purely by chance, whom he did not trust at all at first, but after killia invited him to stay and heal with him for a time, they grew a lot closer (wink wink). their relationship is complicated but very tender, and they bring out the best in each other. seren is sharp and insightful and challenges killia with perspectives so far from anything he’s ever considered. killia is imaginative and knowledgeable and encourages seren to find joy and love.
to put it bluntly, seren still has no idea what he wants out of life, but working to take down the system that has taken so much from him and his people gives him a practical purpose and somewhere to put his values for the time being. he doesn’t care about the rebellion at heart nearly as much as killia does, but killia is kind of all he has, and his devotion is worth a lot to him. seren would hate to die for the revolution, but he doesn’t have the healthiest relationship with death either; if he can’t live among better circumstances anyways, he’d rather die in service of justice than inevitably by his own hand.
that was super fucking dark! really, most of that was a psychoanalysis of seren’s blackest qualities. he doesn’t seem all that depressing even the majority of the time, just quiet. he keeps busy. he’s solution-oriented. he’s a fantastic asset to the revolution even if he doesn’t live and breathe its ideals, because he’s highly unassuming (great for stealth) and very practical. seren will do basically anything the revolution needs him to, though he’s hesitant to resort to direct violence in any capacity. he’s much better friends with evander than he is rowen. he also has somewhat of an affinity for alya, because his religion is essentially a derivative of hers. but mostly he’s pretty asocial.

I think the most interesting thing about Krester for me is that when he’s faced with making the right choice in the simulation, he usually makes the wrong one.
Everyone in the simulation seems to be operating at their worst self, but most of them find a way to grow and/or change for the better. Take Ángel for example. In the first half of the show, he can be spoiled and careless and downright cruel. But when faced with the calling and the sudden deaths around him, he actively helps as part of the crew and ultimately tries to reflect on and apologize for his actions in episode seven.
Other notable character beats that follow the same mode
Ramiro goes from introverted and scared to a kind, heroic figure who steps up and does the right thing when the chips are down
Clémence, who is clearly trapped in a loveless marriage that she has little say in, establishes herself as her own person as the show goes on - either through Jérôme or by literally putting on pants and becoming more active instead of passive
When faced with the idea of literally murdering a child, Tove stops helping her mother. She later defects to the other side of the mutiny because she’s enraged about how her mother - and Krester - are behaving.
Even if characters don’t make active choices in terms of changing their lives, most of them step up when they need to. Ling Yi and Olek take the helm of the ship during the storm (and learn to love/trust with each other, because they see each other for who they really are despite a language barrier), Lucien confesses his guilt to Clémence, Jérôme trusts again when he’s with Clémence, Anker confesses his “sin” and opts to stay with his wife, Eyk begins to trust and open up again with Maura... the list goes on.
Now, this is only referring to characters who think 1899 is reality. Henry, Daniel, Sebastian, and Elliot are exempt from this discussion. There’s also enough fuzziness around Maura’s story that I’m reticent to say she goes through a major change as well.
There are some simulation characters who don’t get a growth arc. Tragically, Yuk Je never gets enough of a story to establish her growth, and Iben also doesn’t really get a redemption arc after throwing Elliot overboard. There’s also Mrs. Wilson, who is a Very Mysterious character who was most likely intended to have some sort of dramatic reveal about her role in the story later on, but who also doesn’t change much either.
And then there’s Krester. Krester is given opportunities to do the right thing, opportunities that, due to his own unresolved trauma and emotions, he squanders. He tells the mutineers about Elliot when Tove tries to protect him. He spits in Ángel’s face. He helps the mutineers take Elliot prisoner. He throws Tove’s trauma back in her face when she tries to help him - twice! While everyone else seems to be forced to face and reckon with their past traumas and they wind up growing and moving forward from said traumas, Krester retreats further away from catharsis until he dies.
This is not me saying he’s a bad person because the show makes it clear why he opts to choose to shy away from growth. His trauma is deeply connected to his sexuality (even if the situation of hooking up with Ángel and then learning Ada is dead is different from him hooking up with a landowner’s son leading to him being shot and his sister being assaulted, he’s not going to differentiate much) and he’s trapped in an abusive family situation. He’s in a horrible spot, and he chooses to retreat into the familiarity of following his mother and making bad choices instead of risk more by stepping up.
So what does this mean? Well, firstly we’ll never know unless a miracle happens which... #Save1899. But I firmly think that Krester was being set up as a character who would have had a negative character arc at first, and whether or not he decides to let go and grow or stay stuck in his pain would be the driving force of his story in season two/three. He has to decide the kind of person he wants to be, free from anyone else. He shouldn’t be defined by his relationships either to his family or with Ángel. Krester has to make his decisions on his own, not pressured by anyone else, and while I do think his character would’ve ultimately progressed in a positive way, the first season sets him up as a guy who will make the wrong choices out of fear while most of the characters around him will choose to evolve when the chips are down. He doesn’t need a redemption arc or anything, but he could’ve had a really powerful story of growth and change and courage had the show gone on.

Genshin Impact x Hades Crossover
TBD with Murata and the Tsaritsa, but I thought it's far enough along to at least make a start on this.
Traveler (either Kong or Ying by choice) as protag, going through the stages to get answers about their sibling.
Decided to combine or split the character roles.
House of Hades/Mondstadt: Starting area, get teleported back every time you 'die' in a run. Shops, currency exchange, quest bulletin board, get your own house? to decorate and show off collections and accomplishments. Should be very pretty. Maybe a fake sky?
Characters in this area:
Xiao and Ganyu as Thanatos and Hypnos, generally hang around and offer gossip (or ". . ." I suppose in Xiao's case). Both occasionally show up in your runs to offer help, Xiao offers you a challenge the same as Thanatos, Ganyu offers a complete heal. Each can only appear once per run, although they may not appear at all.
Katheryne as Hades, hanging around always doing paperwork. She makes commentary on your run, like Hypnos except much more obviously sarcastic. She also gives out challenges/bounties and you can purchase decorative upgrades from her. (I originally was going to put Jean here, for the paperwork, but Katheryne seems to make more sense.)
Noelle as Dusa, mostly just commentary and can increase relationship values here.
Diluc as Achilles, offers combat advice as you try out new weapons and boons. Maybe also offers to spar with you for practice? Unlike Skelly, he fights back though.
Dori as the Wretched Broker, exchanging artifacts for currency or vice-versa. She also takes the place of Charon during the runs, offering items, boons and artifacts in return for currency, either in person or at shops. Maybe an extra boss if you steal from her, but not THE bonus boss.
Skirk as Nyx, more commentary, maybe the one who advances the plot?
~~~
Tartarus/Liyue: First hostile area, shown mostly underground, as opposed to Mondstadt. Mostly dark with gold accents, very luxurious looking (as opposed to Tartarus appearance of a prison).
Dainsleif is the merchant in this area, implied to be sneaking around for unknown reasons and should drop hints in conversation on how to advance the plot.
The boss for this area is an Abyss Lector, either one or a combination of Enjou, Egill and Agnarr. Enjou would be the only one who really talks and is friendly to the Traveler. None of them show up in Mondstadt.
~~~
Asphodel/Fontaine?: Definitely full of rivers, maybe frozen over. Elegant in appearance, lots of fountains.
The merchant is Faruzan. She's in a comfortable, luxurious palace with lots of resources, but implied to be stuck only in the palace and ironically without the items/artifacts she needs to get out. While normal items can be purchased with the regular currency, advancing the relationship with her would involve bringing her artifacts so she can build something that would allow her to escape.
The boss for the area would be the All-Devouring Narwhal.
~~~
Elysium/Sumeru: Rooms should alternate between jungle and desert decorations. (I really wanted to do Mondstadt here instead, but I decided it worked better as the starting area.)
Kaeya is the merchant in the area. He's a lot more snarky than Patroclus but maybe some hints of depression still. Advancing both his and Diluc's friendship points means helping them rebuild their relationship, usually by passing messages back and forth to each other. (Personally, I'd like the idea that you can make choices to tilt the relationship to be either romantic or familial, but we know that developers would never go for it.)
La Signora and Childe are the bosses, with La Signora being the Theseus expy and Childe as Asterius. NB: while La Signora shows both Pyro and Cryo abilities and Childe Electro and Hydro, they can only summon the Tsaritsa for an aid attack. Maybe stick a relationship path with Childe, maybe advancing by doing certain challenges?
~~~
Temple of Styx/Greece: Not sure what to put here. It would either be Khain'rieh or Celestia, neither of which have been seen yet.
Cerberus would be Durin, except instead of finding a Fetid Sack, you'd pick up a Mondstadt souvenir instead.
The final boss is the Traveler's sibling. Each time you defeat him or her you get a chance to ask one of three questions. But not all questions advance the plot and if you choose the wrong one, well you just have to go again. Not sure what causes the Traveler to return to the beginning each time.

While going through AU information since I slept here's questions while I read. Got any visual descriptions of the characters that one could work off of? When Eclipse released the 3 from stais how did things go? Was Sun and Moon immediately on defense and thought Eclipse was going to kill them or was they willing to give the lord a chance? Is Lunar still wary of Eclipse? Has Atlas ever met Eclipse? What's Glitter's original AU like? And how would they react to Lord Saturn? I think that'd be a interesting meeting For the TFs in "Rehab" has there been any progress? Are they still stuck in their old ways? (I'm sorry I am a curious boi. Bonus questions such as: Has the deadly sin family tried to kidnap Lord Saturn to be apart of the family? How would Gluttony react to North, Catch, and Release?)
I am delighted to talk about my aus. People showing interest makes me very happy. Plus it helps me expand the universe.
This got a bit long
Currently visual descriptions are pretty vague. I will have to get back to you on that. I got another ask about that in particular so I'll tag you there. Onto the questions I can probably answer!
-
Gluttony (lunar) was released first and met with apologies and 'bribes' (toys, food, games, etc to make him happier). Gluttony and Envy (eclipse) had a serious heart to heart where Envy explained himself, past and present feelings. He promised to be better. Things between them were stilted for a while, but they grew comfortable with each other after a while.
Envy released the others due to Gluttony's insistence. Envy explained himself to them as well. Lust was a bit more sympathetic than Pride. Considering the power dynamic, there wasn't a lot that could be done from Pride, Lust, and Greed's side.
Things were pretty awkward between everyone and Envy for a while, but with time and borrowed therapists, things smoothed out. (there is a under developed au where Pride kills Envy and Gluttony runs off with the star). It's been a long while now so the family is mostly content in the new world.
-
Envy doesn't leave their dimension often except for Lord Meetings and occasionally visiting friends like Night. So no, he hasn't met Atlas. He knows of Atlas, but the two haven't crossed paths.
-
In Glitter's original dimension, his Moon was decommissioned for multiple child murders. Even with 'the problem' gone, the daycare's numbers didn't improve; so Glitter was going to be decommissioned as well. When Chaos showed up, the staff cut their losses and let him take Glitter.
Glitter didn't have a Eclipse in his world but he would be a bit nervous at first about Saturn. Especially early on before he learns to roll with it. Chaos is protective enough that Glitter won't be scared of Saturn and Beam, just wary. Okay probably a little scared of Beam, but again Chaos will protect him so he knows he is likely safe.
-
tf Sun probably has had the most progress. Lust, also being a sun can more easily understand how his mind works and how to correct things. Plus tf Sun is the most open to change without tf Moon and tf Monty's opinions guiding his own. Besides traveler is way less scary than Gluttony.
tf Moon is a stubborn bastard and regularly gets the spray bottle.
tf Monty isn't in rehab, he's in prison.
-
If Saturn wants to be a part of the family, he is very much welcome. The only people kidnapped into the family are those who have been abused, neglected, in danger, etc. And even then, if the kidnapped wants to leave, they can.
Though as a Eclipse, Saturn counts as a 'cousin' regardless.
-
Gluttony would definitely offer to adopt North, or let him stay with the sins family if he wants a vacation from Golden. Also another magically inclined lunar friend!
Gluttony would be interested in getting to know Catch & Release since their dimension is way different than most he knows about, plus it seems cool. Maybe not a field trip dimension, but one he would like to explore

Keris Veturia x Y/n(Kaylen)
I decided to give Y/n a name because I was tired of writing Y/n over and over. Oh and I have a wattpad where I have a book, my name is Codename_kidnextdoir
I fell in love with my best friend. One of Blackcliff’s coldest, in love.
I know I shouldn’t, the only place love will take me is a grave. I can’t tell her. Keris Veturia is also one of Blackcliff’s coldest, her father is also our commandant, they don’t get along at all. As a child she refused to take part in training and he whipped her everyday until she did. He killed my parents because I wouldn’t cooperate, he made me this way and I will never forgive him. Keris and I have been best friends ever since we were yearlings. Yearlings are the lowest ranking students at Blackcliff then it goes up to fivers then to cadets then skulls then senior skulls then once you graduate training you’re a ghost. Upon arriving at the school, students are given a tattoo on the back of their neck of Blackcliff's symbol, a four-sided black diamond with curved sides. Keris and I are ghosts, we graduated a year or so ago, this just goes to show how long we’ve been friends.
Most of Blackcliff calls us twins, not because of looks because we look nothing alike. Keris is 5 '7 with blonde hair and pale gray eyes which is where I got my nickname for her, my nickname for her is Slate seeing as slate is a shade of pale gray. She has a slim figure, she’s fit but not bulky. I on the other hand am 6’1 with black hair that is often in a wolf cut, I also have oak brown eyes which is where Keris gets her nickname for me, she calls me oak. I have more of a bulky build, 8 pack abs, sharp jaw-line, sharp v-line, and strong arms and legs, I take great pride in my body. They call us twins because of the fact you barely see one without the other, one gets into a fight so does the other, we always train together, and we’re always on missions together. We’re a duo, a packaged deal and everyone knows if you mess with one of us you get your ass beat by both of us.
It wasn’t until Keris was assigned on a mission without me that I realized how much I truly love her. How much I want her nowhere other than by my side, how much I missed her slate gray eyes, her perfect smile, pale skin that turns a cherry red when she’s cold, and how playfully angry she gets when I use her head as an armrest and remind her she’s a whopping 7 inches shorter than me. I didn’t really mind her on a solo but that’s the thing, it wasn’t a solo mission…She got paired up with Marcus, Blackcliff’s biggest asshole. Marcus has what you would call a god complex, he expects everyone to bow down to him and everything to revolve around him. I suspect that’s why he despises me, he knows I'm better than him and there’s nothing he can do about it. Worst of all he thinks he owns Keris. He thinks she belongs to him! I have witnessed numerous times where he tried to touch her, invite her to his quarters, and he and his twin brother have even cornered her once or twice. Each and every time I’ve witnessed these things I beat his ass which resulted in him in the infirmary and me getting publicly whipped for assault on a fellow ghost, do I regret it? No, even a bit. Keris hates his gut and I’m better than him. I’m faster, stronger, smarter, and hotter. He has this obsession with her, with my girl and I can’t stand it. I don’t trust him to protect her but I can’t do anything about it, orders are orders.
While Keris was gone I got stuck with training the yearlings, it wasn’t even anything fun just going over some basic fighting rules so they don’t trip over their own feet and impale themselves on their own blade. After a miserable day of teaching things that should be common sense I finally retired to my room. I let myself free of my clothed prison and hopped in the shower, washing twice, washing my hair, and washed up a third time before getting out and brushing my teeth. I hear my door open and close but I just ignored it and went on to brush my hair and wrapped it up in a towel. I’m not worried because the only people that come in my room are the commandant and Keris because the rest are scared of me. I washed my face, my skin is clear and soft. I walked out of the bathroom and was hit with a strong smell of roses which alarms me seeing as my scent is vanilla and raspberry, I take a sniff and relaxed when I smelt a faint strawberry, roses and strawberries, I smile “I missed you, Slate” I walked over to my dresser and put on some underwear, a sports bra, and a pair of black sweatpants
“I missed you too, Oak” Keris smiled and sat up on the bed
“How was your mission?” I asked brushing through my now simi-dry hair “I don’t have to kill Marcus do I?”
Keris laughed “As much as I would like to see that, I don’t want you to be punished for killing him”
“I would take a million punishments if it was for you” I said, finishing up my hair then walk over to sit next to her on my bed
“I know you would, Oak” She smiled, she ran her fingers through my hair. I hum and lay in her lap, she knows how much I adore her playing in my hair
“Slate?”
“Yeah?”
“I know you didn’t hop ya ass in my bed without cleaning up after your mission” I look at her
“I was excited to see you!” She defended
“Go get ya stank ass in the shower!” I laughed and hit her with a pillow
Keris laughed with me “Ok ok” she took a towel and walked into my bathroom, I heard the shower start and I lay down where she was, turning to smell the pillow. It smelled like her, it’s addictive, I want her. Keris came back about 30 minutes later, she dried off and put on some of my sweatpants and one of my hoodies then crawled into bed next to me “Wanna watch scream?” Keris suggested, she loves horror movies. I nodded and turned it on, and we fell asleep watching the movie with her head on my chest.
The next morning Keris and I were up at 7am as usual. We were already washed and dressed in our training gear. We walked into training yard 1, together as always and as always it immediately got silent as soon as we were spotted. Yes there was more than 1 training yard, Blackcliff was huge. We went on with training, as always I beat Keris, It wasn’t because she wasn’t good because she was, she was amazing, one of Blackcliff’s best as well as me. It was because she always plays from one book, Blackcliff’s book but not everyone is going to play from the same book. I win because I play from more than one book, I play from all of them. We sensed a presence
“Something we can help you with?” I asked
“You both were summoned by the commandant” The messenger boy spoke, refusing to look at either of us
I backhanded him, sending him tumbling to the ground “You look at us when speaking, understand?”
“Understood ma’am” He whimpered
I nod “Good, off you go” I said and he ran off. I began walking to the commandant’s office and Keris followed. We stopped in front of the door and I knocked sharply 3 times, soon after we heard a booming voice telling us to enter. As soon as we closed the door we fell into a deep bow “Commandant” we said in unison
“King, Venturia, I have a mission for you. There is a scholar boy making serric steel, your job is to kill him and his close confidant, his sister. I want his notebook and proof of his death.”
“Of course, commandant” We said in unison
“You set off in 20 minutes” He gives us a paper with all the boy’s information on it “You’re dismissed”
We took another low bow and walked back to our quarters. Alone in my room I slip out of my training gear “The field of battle is my temple” I slid on my mission armor “The swordpoint is my priest” I gently put on my mask “The dance of death is my prayer” I slid my scims onto my back “The killing blow is my release” I repeated to some mantra I always have since I was 14. I know my skills come from years and years of training but it was the last thing my father said to me so I rely on that mantra. Keris walks in
“You ready, Oak?” She asked me
“Of course, Slate” I pat her back and walk out
Keris followed behind me and we hopped on our steeds and took off to the village. The ride was silent aside from the horse hooves connecting with the gravel below, that was until Keris broke the silence
“Do you ever get tired of it?” She asked quietly
I know what she was talking about, she was talking about the killing, the being forced to execute the empire's will. I hate it, I really do but I have to keep up the act because Blackcliff academy is like sharks and splashing as soon as I make even the slightest ripple of weakness they’ll circle me and eat me alive. That’s the same reason no one can know I’m in love with my best friend, they’ll use her to get to me, they’ll kill her to force me back into submission.
“I do…It may not seem like it but I do” I said keeping my eyes forward
“So why do you continue? It’s not like you’re afraid to die” She looks at me, feeling her eyes on me, I look at her
“I do it for you. I stay because I know if I die you’re going to end up with a partner that won’t protect you, that won’t hesitate to put your life at risk to save their own ass, that’s why I hated when the commandant partnered you with Marcus” I take a breath and turn my eyes back straight “Everything I do is for you” I hear her suck in a breath as her eyes linger on me
“Kaylen” She calls me
She called me Kaylen not Oak, she only uses my real name when she’s mad or when the conversation is about to get deep, I know from her tone of voice that she wasn’t mad which means this conversation was about the to get deep, It can get deep, if it does I might tell her I love her
“We’re here” I say partly to avoid this conversation but mostly because we were here, right outside of the village, I look at the information “Ok looks like his house has a skylight. We’ll run the rooftops and drop through the skylight. You take care of the sister, I’ll take the brother” I hopped off my horse and helped Keris off her’s, I noticed the solemn look on her face “Don’t worry, it’ll be over soon. Always victorious” I brush her cheek
“Always victorious” She gives me a hug
I smile and find my way onto a rooftop, Keris follows me up and we take off towards the house, slicing through the air like the swords on our backs. Soon we’re moving so fast it feels as if we are standing still, making not a sound, and not a single roof tile was disturbed. After a minute or so we perch on the rooftop of the house next to the target’s, first I assess the house making sure renovations were made. Flat rooftop, two windows on each side of the house, it was made out of bricks, and of course the skylight, everything was accounted for. Next I made sure the target’s were inside
“Targets are inside” I look at Keris and nod “Come” I said
Keris and I jumped the gap and landed silently, it was roughly a 5 foot gap. I take my window cutter and cut a hole, using the suction attachment to quietly lift it up. Keris drops through as flawlessly landed on the carpet, she was perfection. I shook off the thought and dropped in…not a creek, amazing. We split up, creeping into the family room silently. I pulled out my side blade or dagger, whatever you want to call it. I kicked the back of the scholar boy’s knees and held the blade firmly to his throat. He tried to fight back, I pushed the blade farther into his neck, drawing a little blood.
“One wrong move and your jugular is on the ground along with your sister’s heart” I said
“Ok ok just don’t hurt her” He pleaded
“You make serric steel” I said knowing he would deny it “Where’s the book”
He hesitates, looking at his sister debating whether or not he wanted to lie “I don’t know what book you’re on about”
“That’s about what I was expecting” I said and started looking around. Coffee table is clear, desk is clear, bookshelf is cle- wait the bookshelf is arranged in alphabetical order yet there’s a D in the A section, pun intended…The boy’s name is Darin
“Slate, grab that book, the only D in the A’s” I grip the boy’s hair, keeping a tight grip on him
Keris let’s go of the sister and takes the book of the shelf looking through it “This is it” she said’
The sister runs over to Keris ready to punch, Keris turns quickly and stabs her in the side, she falls gripping where the dagger was just in her
“NO!” Darin struggled in my grip but I kept a tight grip “You said you wouldn’t hurt her!”
“I never said that” I held his head up “Kill her” I looked at my girl
Keris slowly runs her blade across her throat, I see the tears run down the boy’s cheek, sliding my dagger across his throat, feeling the thick blood trickle down the back of my hand, I see his crimson liquid coat my blade. I sigh and wipe off my dagger, holstering it. Step….Step. Someone’s behind me but Keris is in front of me. I pull my scim from my back and turn around, slicing their chest before impaling them through the heart, they dropped to knees, damn…It was their mother. Why did she have to walk in, just why. I pull my sword out, she’s bleeding out, dying and there’s nothing I can do to save, by the time I get her to a healer she’ll be dead and I don’t have the things I need to save her on my person. I drop to my knees, hand covered in blood and shaking, I place a hand on her cheek, she’s struggling to keep her eyes open, struggling to breathe, I see the blood spilling out of her, dripping from the corner of her mouth.
“I’m sorry…I didn’t mean to, you weren’t supposed to be here” I rambled out
She lays her hand over mine “It’s okay, dear” she smiled
She smiled at me…I killed her children and she is about to die by my hand, I signed her name in my deathnote yet she’s smiling at me.
“Let me see your face, dear” She said
I was confused but reached to take off my mask, Keris grabbed my hand giving me the “Are you sure about this?” look, I nod and remove my mask, my oak brown eyes peering into her deep blue ones
“You’re beautiful” She said, tracing her thumb over my defined jawline “Your soul is pure, keep your soul. You are a torch in the night, you’ll shine. There is hope in life” she told me before the life drained from her eyes, I can’t leave her on the floor. I pick her up and laid her on the couch before putting my mask back on
“Let’s go, Slate” I said after getting proof of the boy’s death
Keris and I soon arrived back in Blackcliff academy, we walk up to the commandant’s office, I knock 3 times sharply hearing an “Enter” we walk in and fall into a low bow
“Is it complete?” He asked
“Yes commandant” I sit the notebook on his desk as well as handing him a sack “Darin’s book and proof of death, sir”
He looks through the book and nods in approval then opens the sack and grins, he dumps the contents of the sack on the floor, Keris and I keep our eyes forward already knowing what is was…Darin’s head, his other body parts didn't have anything identifiable, no tattoos nor piercing, no scars nor birthmarks, nothing. His head was the last resort.
“Amazing job you two. You’re dismissed” He said
We took a low bow and walked out, we went to our quarters then an hour later Keris walked in my room, just like me, freshly showered. I was looking at my lap thinking about the mother, she reminded me of my mom, always forgiving, though she was dying by my hand she forgave me, smiled at me, and called me beautiful
“Get out of your head, it wasn’t your fault. Everyone knows not to sneak up on a ghost” Keris runs her hand through my hair
“It doesn’t matter who’s fault it was, her blood is on my hands” I say quietly, it’s getting hard to breathe, Black dots cloud my vision, the sounds around me start to get drowned out by a loud buzzing in my ears, my hands go numb, and my heart feels like it’s going to break out of my rib cage and run away. I couldn’t feel anything. Suddenly I could breath, soon I regained my vision, when my eyes came back into focus I see Keris pulling away from my face
“What did you do?” I asked
“I kissed you. You were having a panic attack and sometimes to stop a panic attack you need to hold your breath so when I kissed you you he-” She rambled on
“I held my breath” I finished her sentence
I looked at her, fuck it I want her, I want her to be mine and mine only. I place one hand on her cheek, the other on her waist
“What are you doing?” Keris said, I can hear her breathing start to lag
“Keris, I love you, I want you to be mine, I don’t want to meet a day where you aren’t by my side, I can’t fathom life without you. I don’t want you by anyone’s else’s side beside mine” I spoke softly
Keris stares at me, this is the only time I can’t tell what she’s thinking and it scares me. I was about to pull away from her but she pulls my shirt, I look at her, she’s smiling at me, her smile is beautiful it makes my heart flutter
“I thought I was the only one feeling it” She kisses me
This kiss is different from the one she used to pull me from my mental prison. In this one she’s showing her love for me. I can feel her love, gratitude, and possessiveness, I can feel how much she cherishes and admires and treasures me. She poured it all into this kiss so I do the same, I put it all into this kiss, my years and years of love, my admiration, all of it. After a minute or two we needed to breathe so we pulled away with smiles
“Keris, You are my temple.
You are my priest.
You are my prayer.
You are my release”
“I have never love that mantra more than I do right now” She throws her arms around my neck, her smile never leaving “I love you, Oak”
“I love you too, Slate”
With those words we set our fate with a kiss. All of the fight and killing… It didn’t matter anymore because I had her, she had me. We completed each other.
Keris Venturia was mine…….Suck it Marcus! Ahahaha, see you guys later, I'm taking MY girl on a date.
God damn it feels good to finally say that.

(Before I start, I just want to let you that when I argue or disagree with you, it isn't personal, it is just fandom. And that I acknowledge that you have a different interpretation of canon of me. For at the end of the day, we are just arguing about fictional characters. Also, I read your blog and engage with you partially to make sure that I don't get stuck in an echo chamber.)
Sorry, for not responding sooner, life got in the way. But now that I have the time, I will try my best to respond to your post.
In regards to this post, I didn't say that Iroh specifically encouraged Zuko to an Agni Kai. For Iroh had no idea that Azula would mentally deteriorate that hard to the point that she would willingly challenge Zuko to an Agni Kai.
But he did encourage Zuko to fight Azula so that after Aang defeated Ozai, Zuko could take the throne and stop the war, which was hundred percent the right thing to do. For Azula was a genocidal, imperialist, colonizer who would have continued the 100 Year War if allowed to remain free, let alone if she assumed the throne.
But imo it doesn't change the fact that it was sad that two siblings ended up on opposing sides of the war, fighting each other to death. Nor does it change the fact that Iroh must have known that he was asking Zuko and Katara to fight Azula to death.
For Azula, sane or insane, would have never willingly stepped aside for Zuko willingly, let alone for a traitor who sought to end the war.
Thus it seems pretty obvious that Iroh, who is a marital genius, had to know that Zuko and Katara's confrontation with Azula would be one fought to the death. Especially since the circumstances that allowed Katara to capture Azula alive was a massive fluke.
It is also doesn't change imo the fact that Azula's mental deterioration, or more specifically, how a composed fighter and tactician became a sloppy fighter who has to rely on raw power and is incapable of strategizing, is sad.
For yeah she mostly brought it upon herself, but if she hadn't been influenced by Ozai and indoctrinated from birth, she wouldn't have become a pro-genocide, colonizing, imperialist monster who killed a child solider and condoned the torture of POWs, a monster who needed to be stopped and either killed or locked up for the good of the world.
Nor would she have the alienated and/or gotten betrayed by her mother, brother, and "friends". Also, instead of using her martial gifts to hurt family, friend, and foe, she would have likely used it to better the world by becoming a teacher for example.
Finally, when I sad that Ozai would probably approve of his actions, I don't mean that to put Zuko down, but to point out how Ozai wouldn't view the Final Agni Kai as a tragedy/a reflection of his poor parenting, but instead as validation for his twisted "might makes right" worldview.
In regards to this post, I admit that forgot to give background context, so I will provide it.
If Avatar had any real sense of realism in it, imo, after Ozai and Azula were defeated, Zuko would have Ozai and Azula publicly killed or made sure they had "accidents" to secure the throne and to prevent them from being lingering threats. That or he would have exiled them far from Caldera City while having Aang de-bend Azula and (explicitly) stripping them of their titles/removing them from the line of succession.
But Zuko didn't, presumably because it wouldn't jive with the post-war order him and the Gaang wanted to establish and because he literally thought prison would do Ozai good like his banishment did for him.
So, when I say that Zuko has an obligation to help Azula, I just mean making the sure the asylums are actually helping their patients since, as Fire Lord, the buck doesn't just stop with him, it is always with him due to being an absolute monarch.
(Yes, I know you don't think the asylums abused Azula or the Fire Warriors. But I am going to respectfully disagree with you on this point and hopefully we can agree to disagree.)
Also, Zuko is to blame for Azula's actions in the comic since he should have seen that she hadn't recovered (ex. why did he never ask her healers who Azula was hallucinating; who was this "she" Azula was referring to) and never taken her from the asylum, let alone agree to her terms just so he could sate his understandable, but selfish, desire to find Ursa again, which lead to her being able to escape his custody and break out the Fire Warriors.
For part of his redemption arc imo was realizing that he had a duty to the world that superseded his desire to have his family whole. So why did he forget this?
Likewise, I thought part of Zuko's redemption arc was realizing that Ozai was the one to blame for his shitty childhood.
So while it is true that Azula was his main secondary abuser, she abused his (ex) girlfriend, attempted to kill him and his friends multiple times (and actually killed one of them), and Zuko was lashing out in frustration after another one of Azula's attempts to hurt him and/or his friends, it is odd that Zuko asks Azula why has she put him for so much from the moment she was born when he already knows why: trying to appease Ozai/Ozai's influence.
Also, I don't think I ever blamed Zuko for challenging her to the Final Agni Kai and I repeatedly say that Zuko and the Gaang have to find her and do everything in their power to neutralize her, up to and including killing her, before she hurts someone permanently.
(Azula has already hurt the children who she kidnapped, as well as their families.)
So with that, I think I am doing responding and I hope you have a good day!
Another thing I've been seeing more and more of that just isn't supported by the actual show is the idea that Zuko needs to "realize" that Azula worked hard to get where she is, and not only is this victim blaming because it ignores how both Ozai and Azula treated Zuko as a scapegoat, it's also simply not true.
Zuko is the one in the text who believes in working hard, while Azula believes in superiority through inherent ability.
I often see people quoting Zuko's line about how everything came easy to Azula and their father said she was born lucky as evidence of Zuko's "jealousy" of Azula's hard work and skill, and how he needs to realize how much pressure she was under, but those people are forgetting what Zuko says right after that.
I don't need luck, though. I don't want it. I've always had to struggle and fight, and that's made me strong. That's made me who I am.
Zuko rejects the belief Ozai tried to enforce about being born lucky. He of course still struggles with it, because he's a kid and being told repeatedly by adults that you are inherently worthless is a hard thing to combat without internalizing. Zuko struggles with assuming that he can't generate lightning because it blows up in his face, "like everything always does." Throughout his journey, he learns to embrace working hard, learning and growing to overcome those mental blocks.
But to say that Azula, in comparison, has a better understanding of hard work is just wrong. What Zuko says about struggling and fighting actually is similar to what Azula says about Long Feng.
I can see your whole history in your eyes. You were born with nothing, so you've had to struggle, and connive, and claw your way to power. But true power, the divine right to rule, is something you're born with.
Azula ultimately disdains the idea of having to struggle to achieve things, and says that true power is something you are born with.
This isn't just an Azula vs Zuko thing, this is a major theme of the story and part of what leads to Azula's ultimate downfall. While Zuko works hard and grows not just in ability but his worldview, adapting and becoming a better person in the process, Azula's worldview narrows in her need to prove her own inherent perfection, which causes her to become more myopic and end up alone.
From the beginning of the story, we see Azula trying to get others to bend to her, even trying to argue against the very tides themselves because of her unwillingness to believe in anything less than her own inherent right. This is also similar to the way other Fire Nation characters show a myopic view of the world that leads them towards megalomania, like Zhao attempting to destroy the moon in pursuit of his own greatness. Both he and Azula think they can defy nature because of their own need to prove themselves powerful. Zuko tries this, too, in "The Storm," and learns one of many lessons about humility and working with others. Azula fails to learn these lessons.
So it's not Zuko who needs to learn this by the end of the series, and especially not from Azula.
I think it's also telling that these people never talk about how much pressure Zuko was under to try and prove he wasn't worthless, and I think that's because by the end, Zuko has realized his own worth, but Azula is still desperately trying to cling to the belief in her own superiority. She's the only one who can relieve that pressure she's putting on herself because she can't let go of the idea that she's not better than other people, and it is not on the people she hurt to try and make her feel better about herself, when she still thinks she's superior to them.
Moreover, I find it very hard to believe that post series Azula would even accept any offer of sympathy from Zuko. This is another example of something Zuko learned in the series that Azula did not, as Iroh says. Pride is not the opposite of shame, but its source. Azula's belief in her own superiority is, of course, a coping mechanism as a result of very low self-esteem, but she needs to figure out how to deal with that in a way that isn't hurting others. What she doesn't need is constant validation from people she victimized and reinforcement of the same toxic beliefs.

Note
We have flushed out a few more details for the Reader-nim stuck in WS's body.
1. This is our preference, but under Reader-nim's guidance, Arm becomes a much more organized group and much less likely to self-implode because of their superior's stupidity. There is White Star, with 6 direct subordinates, each a "shard" of the 6-point star. The 5 Red Stars, and their 5 chosen subordinates.
So the order goes White Star -> 6 White Shards -> 5 Red Stars -> 25 Red Shards -> Everyone else. Half-Blood, Red Dragon, and Reader-nim are half of the White Shards.
This makes it less necessary for White Star to move around so fewer people are aware of his existence and he can be saved as a "trump card" against enemies.(Cale)
2. Arm is a lot less 'evil', instead operating in a morally grey area. Granted, they still have to carry out 'villainous' acts because SG is a bitch. But Reader-nin found out they can't stray too far from the script, unlike Cale, because something else will come along and set the course right. Don't invade the Dragon Lord's temple for the eggs? Oh No! A fight breaks out between the dragons and almost destroyed the Castle of Light! The eggs are lost in the process! (Reader-nim: Aigoo... I'm going crazy...). So they have to fake a lot of deaths. A LOT. Ex: Harris Village, Wolf Tribe, Tiger Tribes...
All inhabitants were moved somewhere else safely so don't worry. They also use criminals from the Eastern Continent and Empire to fuel the Alchemy Tower so it's harder to trace.
3. The Red Dragon is Alive, we want more of this boi. Readers-nim pretty much bullies White Star into taking care of the egg... At the cost of nearly all other dragons dying. (Reader-nim: *nervous sweats of what-the-fuck-did-I-get-myself-into*) but not the main ones we the audience know. Red Dragon is the younger brother of Half-Blood, aka adopted by White Star. Although only White Star, Half-Blood, and Reader-nim are aware of him.
4. Half-Blood is a lot less traumatized. Reader-nim, unfortunately, didn't arrive in time to completely save him, but they did manage to convince White Star to treat him like a human being. (WS: Why? Reader-nim: You abused this half DRAGON being for 900 years in the 2nd Timeline... WS: And? Reader-nim: He betrays you the first chance he gets. WS: *surprised Pikachu face*)
This leads to Half-Blood having a much better relationship with White Star, and calling Reader-nim Dad/Mom while the Red Dragon calls them Mother regardless. They're a happy family that pretends to hate each other and laugh at the chaos they make together.
5. Reader-nim is an(unintentional) priest of the God of Death. Yeah, when GoD gave them his protection against the curse, he didn't expect them to figure out how to spread it to others... And to develop healing a abilities too...
God of Death: *shrugs* Eh, what you gonna do?
Reader-nim: Clean up your own fucking mess, you useless bastard.
God of Death: My children hate me...
Cale: When the hell did I become your child?
Cage: *high-fiving Reader-nim*
We have a headcanon that if the Sun Goddess purifies Dead Mana, then the God of Death can strengthen it. So yeah... Reader-nim can make almost the entirety of Endable stronger.
This also means they gain a 'puppet' to control made of Dead Mana + Mana Crystals. Although they do have the black scars from said mana, it helps them move independently from White Star on occasion until they get a more permanent body. This one needs to recharge every few days depending on how much mana they used.
6. Less betrayal = more angst.
Because this Arm is leagues better than canon, betrayal is less likely. The citizens of Endable are not prisoners, and White Star isn't the ruler although he is still referred to as the liege. This is cause Reader-nim told him of all the other struggles that would happen and about Duke Fredo. So he instead handles all the foreign affairs in the kingdom while the 4 nobles rule over it. This makes them see him as more of a benefactor/partner than a king. They grow to respect him more, and he for one, appreciates the less likelihood of getting backstabbed.
They also control the Eastern Continent from the shadows, solidifying their positions better and having better resources too. The Empire is honestly disposable for them. All documents from the Alchemist Tower are copied and stored in a separate location, plus the tower itself is independent of the Empire, the Church of The Sun God is closely monitored by Hannah, and if Adin steps out of line, they have methods of dealing with him.
Hannah still gets poised though because Adin did manage to round up some traitors to reclaim the tower, but after Reader-nim explained the situation Hannah re-joined Arm as a Red Shard. They had always wanted to get rid of the church, but could never find a good reason to until now(not really, they didn't want to further fuck up the timeline), and Hannah always jumps at the chance of revenge. Reader-nim also promised Hannah that she could leave after the Church and Adin where taken care of. We're debating in what to do with that.
AND WE JUST REALIZED WE HAD HOMEWORK AKDIRJWVBANS-
- Black Rock anons
ngl this made me dizzy when i was reading it. the details are insane dfgdifkghsdfh
also i think that open up opportunities for reader and cale to plan better for both kinda know what's gonna happen. reader also probably feels annoyed when she found out cale doesnt suffer as much from changing the script (for now at least) while she does lol

Can you do a Yandere gaang head cannons please.
Yandere Gaang Headcanons
Tumblr media
•The only way to survive the gaang with your sanity in tact is to learn about your yanderes and quickly too.
•On their own, each member is already terribly annoying, you don’t even want to think about when they’d team up.
•Katara is by far the worst to be stuck alone with. She quickly goes from fearsome waterbending master to an overbearing mother. Her hands tangle in your hair pulling your scalp raw until it’s tangle free and pulled into a perfect braid. Then she makes you some water tribe food that tastes like dirt and looks like it too until finally it’s time for bed. Sure the sun may have only set an hour ago but better asleep then dealing with one of Katara’s lullabies. The lyrics weren’t so bad but she was horribly tone deaf.
•next we have Sokka. It was painfully obvious that him and Katara has grown up together because while Katara treated you as a child to be taken care of, Sokka treated you like some kind of messed up mom/girlfriend hybrid. Suddenly the tactician and inventor you knew was replaced by a brain dead simpleton. He’d get so consumed doodling insulting portraits of you that he’d forget to eat until his stomach was shaking the nearby trees with hungry growls. So of course the burden of cooking was put on you. Then suddenly he’s gotten sap in his hair and needed you to get it out. You did feel a tad better when you managed to get the sap out along with a chunk of hair. Serves him and his new bald spot right.
•As for Aang he was fine. He was closer to his normal self then anyone else and that was something you could appreciate. Your time together was spent doing normal person things. You never realized how much you missed normal people things until you hadn’t been to the market or swam in the river in so long that you’d forgotten what it all felt like. It was good. Until there was a misstep no matter how small. Something like a stubbed toe had Aang taking you back to your prison where he and Katara would fuss over you for the rest of the day.
•Toph was pretty fun. She let you do what you wished and if you happened to get a scratch or a bruise she’d help you hide it from the rest of the gaang. She didn’t treat you like you were anything other then what you were and that was enough for you to overlook how she’d beat up anyone who looked at you or ravaa forbid touched you. It helped that after it happened she’d always find something to distract you like that new unfried dough stand. Honestly you didn’t feel too bad about the people she bruises. Better she take it out on them then you.
•Zuko is a step up from Toph because not only will he let you do just about anything you want but he’s also completely powerless when it comes to you. Of course you can fill his hair with little braids and use berry juice to paint his face like some mythical creature. If the juice happens to stain you know he’d never get mad at you. It doesn’t hurt then when you’re together you can actually see the sadness leaving his eyes. You felt better when you could make him feel better.
•finally we have Suki. The best of the horrible bunch. She has her issues of course but she’s one of the only ones who will call the others out when they go to far. She’s not afraid to go toe to toe with any of them and that’s something you needed. Someone to protect you at least a bit. To show you that you’re not crazy or dramatic. She even let you complain about them to her without guilting you or getting upset. She’s the only one who actually took some of your criticisms to heart and tries.
•So overall the gaang is a mess. They can save the world but not form a healthy relationship. All I can say is good luck Charlie.

Billy and Eddie had learned Steve’s birthday wasn’t actually for a few more days; they hadn’t missed it, the card from the boys had just been early. It meant they had time to plan, throw a few things together.
Argyle and Jonathan were in charge of the cake. It wasn’t a real cake, instead having to be made of whatever snacks they could get from the commissary to pile into the shape of a cake with a cigarette stuck into the top of the mound as a makeshift candle. Eddie was in charge of making a birthday card for him, one from the two of them, and Billy was in charge of the presents.
He rang Max up to tell her what he wanted brought in the day after Steve’s card from the boys arrived – even though it took a lot of bribing to get the guards to allow him to walk to the phones. Already he knew he was going to give Stevie his blue bear from when he was a child, but he wanted a couple of other things, too. The first was a tiny little bit of makeup, just a tube of lipstick, mascara and a small eyeshadow pallet – which was definitely more for them than Steve. Another was a book, one that Eddie had told him to get so that the three of them could read it together, and the last was a cassette player. They were allowed inside, as were radios, but very few of the inmates had them. They were nearly always stolen and getting family members from the outside to bring in cassettes got old quickly.
But the inmates knew much better than to dare steal anything that belonged to Billy or his pets. They knew the consequence would involve every last bone in their greedy hands being broken so they wouldn’t be physically able to steal anything for a long time, and then, while recovering, their own cell ransacked for anything of value to be taken away from them.
He struggled with choosing which cassettes to tell her to buy because he wasn’t sure what kind of music Steve was even into. He wound up telling Max to ask the record shop keeper for whatever was popular in metal, rock, and pop, and to get one of each. If he'd had more time, he would have asked Max to make him a mixtape of a list of songs he’d gotten from Steve, but that would be for another occasion.
Maybe it’d be his special treat after Billy tore through his pretty little asshole, which was planned for the night of the day of his last check up in the infirmary. From what he could tell – and he had gotten Eddie to look for him, which had involved him threatening to knock all of Eds’ teeth out if he even thought of ever teasing him about it – the stitches were healing perfectly, which was a miracle in itself from the amount of moving he was doing.
The ‘party’ they were planning was scheduled for Steve’s actual birthday day, a Tuesday, as soon as the work shift was over. Since Billy was off the entire week, he was able to ‘wrap’ the presents in colorful paper stolen from the art room and get the cake situated on top of the closed toilet seat. It didn’t look amazing given it was all makeshift, but he even drew and cut out some paper balloons like he had for Eddie’s first birthday inside to stick onto the walls.
He hadn’t gotten to celebrate his birthday for years. From the day his Mom left to the day he’d met Chrissy, he’d pretended he just didn’t have one to try to make the fact that he wasn’t allowed to celebrate easier to deal with. Chrissy had turned a painful day around for him, had showed up outside of his camaro holding a cupcake with a candle in it and a little gift for him, and since then he loved birthdays, always wanted to try to make them as special as he could for the people he cared about.
“Well, well, 62097. Who are we celebrating?”
Billy froze up when he heard the too familiar voice from behind him. He’d gotten three full days of freedom without Creel creeping up behind him, but now it was over. After a second of internally panicking, he put on a smirk and turned around.
It almost dropped when he looked Creel in the eye, but he managed to keep it up.
“Doesn’t matter because you’re not invited. Sorry.”
Creel laughed softly, a sound that could be mistaken for human if someone didn’t know how demonic he could be. His posture was painfully straight, hands clasped in front of him. “Well, that’s not very nice. Why wouldn’t I want to come to my pet’s party?”
Every muscle in Billy’s body stiffened. “What do you want?”
“I’m here to collect you for an appointment ,” Creel drawled, and Billy nearly dropped to his knees, ready to burst into tears and beg to just be left alone. Every word he spoke felt like a taunt because Creel was the one with the power and they both knew it. “Relax, 62097. Not with me, I’ve got to wait for you to heal a little bit first. Someone is here to evaluate your mental state. Make sure you’re okay to stay here and not be transferred to a hospital.”
It was an empty threat, Billy knew that. There was no way in hell Creel would let him go somewhere where he wouldn’t have access to him anymore.
“Come now. She’s waiting for you in the infirmary.”
Creel’s hand pressed to the small of Billy’s back as he slid past him in the doorway, and it felt like he’d been prodded with a hot iron. He flinched away so hard that he nearly fell over, and Henry laughed at his suffering, rolling his eyes at his dramatics.
No one was in the hallway, all the other inmates on their work duties, and Billy could have kissed Nurse Betty’s feet when he saw she was waiting in the infirmary doorway for him. It meant he wasn’t alone, that he wasn’t going to be trapped in a room with Creel again. Someone would be there to hear him if he screamed.
“Just this way, Mr. Hargrove,” She gave Billy a polite smile and brought him into one of the private rooms.
A woman stood inside, hair as dark as Argyle’s but up in a bun so tight that Billy didn’t understand how it could have been even slightly comfortable. She held a clipboard in her hands, red nails tapping against it, impatiently waiting for the inmate to be presented to her.
Betty gestured to the bed and Billy eased up to sit on it, having to shift his weight carefully to avoid any pain. By the time he was comfortable, the nurse was long gone and he was trapped in a tiny room with Creel and the woman he was now realizing was the Flayer . The psych doctor from Chrissy’s letters, the one that was just as fucked up as Creel, if not worse in her own way.
Bodies could withstand a lot of physical pain by disconnecting from it; it was the mental torture that broke humans down.
They stood between him and the door. Even if he was in tip-top shape without a bruise on his body, he would have no way of escaping to the door. The panic that crept up his spine made it feel like the walls were closing in, forcing him closer and closer to the blonde guard and the dark haired doctor.
He hadn’t eaten a girl out in a long, long time. Years. He wondered if they were going to tag team him, if Creel would laugh while he struggled his way around a pussy.
“So this is 62097.”
The woman’s voice was sweet but not soft. It didn’t sound genuine; it was like she was putting on an act of complete bullshit to try to come across as sweeter than sugar. Her eyes didn’t have much light in them and they were the same colour as Creel’s, Billy realized.
“It’s Billy. And who are you?” Billy asked.
He couldn’t take his eyes off of them, looking between the two of them standing side by side like he was trying to find more similarities. Their jaws looked a little similar, both sharp, and they were both thin with the same painfully straight posture. The woman was shorter than Creel, though, maybe by a foot or so.
“I’m Mrs. Rogers, the psychiatrist assigned to your case. I’m going to be asking you some questions today, 62097. Is that alright with you?”
Billy then realized that every question was going to be a test, a trick. There was a right and wrong answer to whatever she was going to throw at him, and he had to learn the correct ones if he wanted to keep from going on antipsychotics or whatever else it was that could be prescribed to turn him into a mindless zombie.
“Yeah,” Billy answered, casually, eyes flicking back to Creel. “He gotta be here?”
“Of course. For my protection,” The woman raised her eyebrows a little. “You’re a convicted criminal with a history of violence and untreated mental illness. Unless you would rather we use a pro-straint chair?”
Creel’s eyes darkened at the mention of the chair, the all too familiar glint of insanity flickering through them as too many ideas filled him.
“No thank you,” Billy spoke as politely as he could, even though his throat suddenly felt trapped in a vice grip. He knew the look in Creel’s eyes, it was the same look that always came before one of his especially fucked up ideas.
“Let’s get started, then, shall we?”
******
It was past dinner time by the time they’d finally released him back to his cell. He found it empty, figuring the boys were in the cafeteria, and he sat on Steve’s bunk with his head in his hands for a while.
His mind went to Chrissy and her girls, the ones that had to deal with the Flayer like he had to deal with Creel. It was fucked up. Part of him wanted the woman to stay here so he knew Chrissy was safe, but then Eddie and Steve would both be targeted. He thought it was a complete miracle that they were still unscathed by Creel.
There was a gentle knock and Billy stood up, about ready to throw his fists up, but it was only Eddie. He poked his head into the cell door. “There you are. You weren’t here when we got off, I didn’t want you to miss the surprise. We went over to Argyle’s instead.”
“Good boy. Well done,” Billy gave him a smile, but it didn’t reach his ears. He hoped his eyes conveyed that he didn’t want to talk about it, not while it was Steve’s birthday and the focus was on him. It wasn’t exactly a light conversation to have during a party. “The birthday boy there?”
“Yeah, hang on.” The cell door shut again, and when it was shoved open again, Eddie was behind Steve with his large hands covering Steve’s eyes. “Relax, baby. This is what you do for surprises. You don’t get to look until we say,” He cooed into his ear, and Billy had to try not to laugh. It was obvious their baby was incredibly nervous, but he really had no reason to be. It was a good surprise; a great one, even. “Three, two…”
“One,” Billy finished, and Eddie uncovered his hands. Steve blinked for a few moments until he registered what he was looking at.
Billy, the almighty Hargrove, had spent the day cutting out pretend balloons and wrapping presents, even if it was the worst wrapping Steve had ever seen in his life, and he didn’t know why.
He didn’t know why he deserved it.
His lip quivered the tiniest bit, and Billy reached out to pull him into his arms. Steve’s arms wrapped around his waist, holding him tight, and Billy bent down to murmur into his ear. “Happy birthday, sweetheart. You’ve been such a good boy, and good boys get treated real good, don’t they? Bad boys are punished, and good boys get rewards. Especially on their birthday.” His hand went to Steve’s hair, very gently tugging at it to turn his head from his neck to look at the presents. It wasn’t enough to hurt him at all, he just wanted him to see them. “All for you, princess. Wrapped ‘em myself.”
“I’m impressed, Bills’. They’re way better than your wrapping at Christmas. Did you practice?” Eddie asked, deadly serious as he looked them over. They were a complete mess, Steve couldn’t even start to wonder how bad they’d looked at christmas time if these were considered amazing, but he loved them all the same. The fact that he’d even tried to wrap them meant the world to him.
“Argyle gave me some tips, actually. They’ll be here for cake before lights out. Wanted to do presents just between us,” Billy leaned over and kissed Eddie’s head, too. It was impossible not to feel better when he was with the two of them; after a rough afternoon with Creel and Alice, he needed them, needed the distraction of seeing Steve so happy.
“These can’t all be for me,” Steve said then, eyes still looking over the gifts. Billy had wrapped everything up individually so he’d have more to open – each cassette was in its own little package instead of putting them all together.
“It’s not either of our birthdays, is it?” Billy raised his eyebrows at him. “They’re all yours. Sit down, baby. Papa’ll hand them to you.”
Papa was the name Eddie had settled on. It was that, or Mommy, which he didn’t feel connected to. It was too feminine. Steve was the only one that could have gotten off on being called something like that. Billy had suggested Master, since he was so into D&D, but Eddie didn’t think that felt right, either. It sounded too harsh when he was even softer towards Steve than Billy was.
Steve sat down on the bottom bunk, and Billy sat beside him, leaning back on one of his hands as Eddie plucked the first gift up to give to him.
It was the book, which Steve had never heard of, but was incredibly grateful for all the same. Eddie immediately launched into an explanation on it and after a few minutes, Billy had to cut him off and tell him to put it on hold until later so Steve could actually get the rest of his presents open before Eddie had to go back to his cell.
The cassettes and player were a hit, too. It was going to be monitored, of course; if Steve wanted to use them, he had to ask for Billy’s permission. Eddie may have been above him, may have been in charge of him, but Daddy was the one that had the final say. Both boys had to ask him for permission.
When it came to the makeup, the eyeshadow was opened first. Steve was confused by it at first, but once he opened the lipstick, the realization dawned on him a little and he looked to Billy with eyes bigger than saucers.
“Didn’t I say I wanted to dress you up all pretty?” Billy smirked at him, at the big bambi eyes and almost frightened expression. “Gonna get Argyle to throw together some dresses for you too, princess. Think you’ll look real good as our little doll.”
When his smirk turned a little more predatory, Eddie was shoving the last present into Steve’s hands. Billy rolled his eyes to look at him, giving him a little dramatic pout for ruining his fun, and Eddie shrugged a little bit to try to play innocent.
It made no difference. Once Billy was in good enough shape to fuck again, he would be smearing the lipstick on his lips to watch it rub off first onto his cock, and then onto the sheets when Billy fucked him open from behind. He wanted to watch the eyeshadow and mascara run and make a mess on his cheeks while he cried and begged for more, more, more.
The thoughts went straight to his cock, and for a moment he thought he was going to have to redirect the princess onto his knees right then, but Steve’s tiny little gasp pulled him out of it.
“Already named him for you. Figured if I took this one, Papa could name the other one,” Billy murmured to him, watching his eyes look over the patchwork bear. It wasn’t new like the one Eddie had gifted him – it was worn out, old and raggedy, some of the blue fabric barely even blue anymore. “It’s ‘Mar,’ the Spanish word for ‘Sea’. Because he’s blue, just like the ocean. Get it?”
The name had been originally given to the bear by his Mother and it felt bizarre to say it outside of his head. She’d handcrafted the bear, sewed every piece of fabric together and made sure it was perfect before gifting it to him when he was too little to remember.
For many of his teenage years, he couldn’t look at the bear. It was the only thing of hers he had left, and it always stayed tucked away in his closet, far away from his father’s leering eyes. It used to be stored with a little picture of him and his Mom, the only one he kept, but Neil had caught Billy showing Max it when she was little and wouldn’t stop asking about her. He’d just wanted to shut her up, maybe bond with her a little, because he knew what it was like to be eight years old and ripped away from your preferred parent.
The picture had wound up torn into a million pieces across his bedroom floor.
Max had tried to collect them, did her best with her little eight year old fingers to try to put them back together like a puzzle, while Billy stuffed Mar underneath boxes of junk and old clothes that were too small for him. They’d tried to put it back together for awhile, but when they got halfway through it and Billy realized how horrible the tiny pieces looked, he dubbed it pointless and flushed the paper bits down the toilet.
“Hargrove?”
“Hm?” Billy snapped back to the present, yanked out of the memory with his eyes still on the dumb blue bear. It had gotten him through a lot, and now it would get Steve through a lot, too. Except the lot Steve would be going through would be because of Billy, not a nightmarish father.
The realization made Billy’s gut twist up.
“I just said thank you. I love it, all of it.” Steve slipped his arms around Billy’s torso, a little hesitantly, and hugged him tight before standing up and going to throw his arms around Eddie’s neck in an even tighter hug.
“Everyone needs presents to open on their birthday,” Billy smiled at the two of them, watching Steve pull back from the hug to press a kiss to Eddie’s lips. “Don’t I get a kiss, too, Stevie?”
“Do you remember what we talked about?” Eddie murmured, nodding his head towards Billy to encourage Steve to go to him. It wasn’t Stevie’s fault that he was nervous around Billy, that he was afraid of him, but Eddie wanted to get them closer. He’d told him what to do, how to sit on his lap and bat his eyelashes and sink into him to soften Billy up. Steve just had to put the plan into action.
With a nod, Steve let him go to tiptoe back over to Billy, who raised an eyebrow. He wanted to see what he was going to do, what Eddie had taught him to do, and he was pleasantly surprised when Steve sat himself down on his lap. He was careful, obviously trying not to put his entire weight down onto Billy’s lap, but that ended quickly with Billy’s arms wrapping around his waist to force him to sit down properly.
Steve gave another glance back at Eddie, who nodded to silently encourage him, and then proceeded to press his lips to Billy. At first, Hargrove was fairly still, letting Steve’s hesitant mouth get used to him a bit more before his hand grabbed his chin and he got a little rougher with him.
“Open,” Billy’s words were a hushed murmur against Steve’s mouth when his lips didn’t automatically open to give him access, but he didn’t have to be told twice, at least. The tongue in his mouth made him want to shy away, but the big hand holding his face a little too tight kept him still, made him obey.
When he was released, Steve shifted downwards to rest against Billy’s chest, instead. Eddie was looking at them, watching them both closely, and he was smug for all of two seconds before he met his Daddy’s eyes and the smirk shifted into a smile, instead. He didn’t want to ruin the party by having Hargrove smack the smug look away.
“Good boy,” Billy murmured to Steve, eyes still on Eddie. “What else has your Papa said to you while I’ve been away? I’ve heard you’ve been very good. Earning lots of sweets.”
“That I have to listen to you,” Steve’s voice was soft. “And I can ask you questions because you have a lot of answers and know the rules.”
“Both of those are correct. You listen to what I say,” Billy tipped Steve’s head up to meet his eyes. “Even if Papa says yes to something, you check with me, as well – unless I’m not around. I hope I won’t have to go back to the infirmary for a long time. But your Papa will remind you of that, anyway, won’t you?”
“Of course,” Eddie nodded.
Steve’s arms curled around his new comfort item as he looked over Billy’s face. There was so much he wanted to ask, yet his mind felt blank. All he could think about were his presents and how good both the men were at kissing. And the cake, composed of twinkies, poptarts, ding dongs, zebra cakes and swiss rolls.
“What’s on your mind?” Billy prodded, reaching to brush Steve’s hair out of his face. “Hm?”
“Cake.”
“Cake?” Both Eddie and Billy repeated it, trying not to burst into laughter. They would have thought he would have said the kiss, or Billy’s rules, or even maybe Mar, but the answer was surprising. Steve nodded his head, innocent as ever.
“We have to wait for Argyle and Jonathan to cut it. They were the ones that made it,” Billy told him, looking over at where it was propped up. “How about a sweet for now? For being a good boy.” He nodded at Eddie, a silent signal for him to get one out.
The sweet Eddie got out was a lollipop, and Steve blushed when it was handed over. He remembered how he was told he was supposed to suck on lollipops and everything similar, with big eyes and hollowed out cheeks, and he still didn’t know why. Eddie had just said it was the rules, that it would make Daddy so happy and get him on his good side, so of course he would obey.
It was worth it, though. He craved the sugar and high that came with it now that it was associated with doing a good job and being a good boy.
“Thank you,” He chirped, repositioning himself so he was facing Billy in his lap with both legs wrapped around his waist before peeling off the wrapper and putting it into his mouth. Eddie gave him a minute, a silent test to see if he’d remember what he’d been instructed to do with them in Daddy’s presence – which he did.
When he was sure Billy was watching his mouth, he pulled it out enough to suckle on it, keeping eye contact even though it was difficult; his cheeks were red, he wanted to look away, but Eddie’s voice in his head was urging him on and he kept it up. After a second he sucked hard, enough that his cheeks hollowed in, too, and Billy nearly hissed.
“ Jesus, you are a good boy, aren’t you?” Billy murmured, hands sliding to grip onto Steve’s hips. He shifted him, ground him on his lap the tiniest bit, and Steve pulled the lollipop out to look down at Billy’s lap. He could feel it, the bulge in Hargrove’s sweats, and for a second he panicked. He wanted to get up and off, go to Eddie for safety, but Billy held his hips down a little harder. “Just relax, sweetheart. Suck on your lolly, don’t focus on anything else. ‘Atta boy.”
“He looks really good with something in his mouth, doesn’t he?” Eddie came up behind Steve, rubbing his hands down Steve’s shoulders and down onto his chest. He crouched so his chin was resting on Steve’s shoulder and he was able to see Billy’s face close up, letting his smirk come back just the tiniest bit.
After a second, his hands slid down further, gently moving Hargrove’s hands away so he could replace them on Steve’s hips, instead. “Daddy’s had a hard week,” He murmured into Steve’s ear, eyes still plastered on Billy’s. “Move just like this while you have your lollipop. It’ll make him feel real good. Like a massage, almost, baby, that’s all.” He guided him along, grinding him down and against Bills’ lap until the man let out a groan and rested back on his hands. “Now your turn. You can do it, just roll your hips.” He kept his hands in their places, but he didn’t move him anymore, instead letting Steve jut his hips and grind himself while he suckled. The hand that wasn’t holding the lollipop held his new bear tight to his chest. “Good boy. Such a good boy for Daddy and Papa. Look how happy Daddy looks, yeah? Feels so nice.”
There was a slight knock on the cell door, and Eddie’s hands tightened on Steve’s hips. All three of them knew it would be his reflex to stop at the intrusion, but it was only Argyle and Jonathan and he didn’t have to. Steve twisted his head around to look at them, but Billy reached out to snap it back, not wanting to lose a second of him working the lollipop.
“Thought we were having a party?” Argyle joked, and Billy smirked lazily at him.
“We are, amigo. This is just the entertainment. C’mere,” He nodded to the space on the bed beside him, and Argyle plopped himself down to have a look. Steve’s eyes were wide, cheeks redder than ever, but he knew better than to stop. “Pretty, right?”
“Hell yeah, dude,” Argyle reached over to clasp his hand in Billy’s before looking properly at Steve. He was definitely a sight for sore eyes with the teddy in his arms, too. “Happy birthday, Stevie. Like your presents?”
Steve nodded, about to pull the lollipop out to speak before Billy grabbed his wrist, forcing him to keep it between his lips. “You can talk when it’s gone. There’s not much left now,” Billy instructed. “Can you be a good boy and sing for us? Let Argyle hear how sweet you sound.”
There was hesitance, he didn’t immediately start to moan, not until Eddie’s hands gave a warning squeeze.
Billy nearly groaned himself at the little sound Steve gave. It was a little longer than a whimper, not quite a moan, but just so sweet.
“That’s it. Louder, sweetheart. One more, a good one, and then you can have your cake,” Billy’s coaxed. The second one was a bigger moan, louder, pulled out from the depths of his chest, and Billy let him come to a slow stop after it rang through the air. “There you go. Think we’ll have to try that during cards on Friday. See what the other men think. Have to get you to practice those sounds a bit more, Stevie, but you’re good. You’re a good boy.” Before lifting him off, Billy pulled him in for another kiss, one that was surprisingly gentle. Billy could taste the strawberry sugar flavor on his lips.
Jonathan was just as red cheeked as Steve, eyes trained on the floor until his friend was off Hargrove’s lap and able to turn to look at him. “Hey,” Steve mumbled, the tiny last bit of the lollipop clinking against his teeth before he bit it off. “You okay?”
“Yeah, yeah. Of course,” Jon looked up and gave him a tiny smile. “Happy birthday. Made you this.”
He handed over a card, one made and doodled on the previous night in his art therapy. Some men had anger management to go to in the evenings, others addictions counseling, but he had art therapy. He had snapped, aftercall, had been nearly declared insane for the acts supposedly committed against his brother by the courts. The therapy was supposed to be extra punishment, but it was actually something Jonathan enjoyed a fair bit. Argyle had signed up to go, too, even though he wasn’t forced like Jon, and they got to spend a few evenings a week painting and drawing – Argyle usually spent his time trying to sketch out different things he could have potentially made out of old sheets, like dresses and skirts.
They were a hot commodity amongst the men that were into feminizing their cellies.
The card was pretty simple, covered in birthday related doodles – a birthday cake, candles, presents, balloons, whatever he could come up with. He didn’t consider himself to be a great artist – his brother had gotten the drawing talent – but the card was cute and colourful.
“Oh, Jon. Thank you,” Steve murmured, admiring the front before opening it to read the message inside. It was sweet, a few words about how they’d celebrate properly one day on the outside with pizza and soda and real presents, and signed off with both their names. Once he’d read it, taken everything in, he pulled Jonathan in for a hug, Mar squished between them.
He got along really well with Jonathan. The boy was probably the only one in the entire prison that was innocent and incapable of hurting anyone.
“I love it. Thank you,” He repeated as he pulled back, and he kissed Jonathan’s cheek before turning around to give Argyle a hug, as well. Argyle wasn’t rough like Billy, and he wasn’t overtly sexual. He went along with Billy’s antics a lot of the time, but he would never push Steve to do anything he didn’t want to do. Steve felt safe with him, liked spending time hanging out with Jon in their cell. Argyle could also make him giggle, even in the moments he felt full of despair. “And thank you, too.”
“You’re very welcome, little buddy,” Argyle patted his back. “Jonny worked real hard on that. I wanted to opt for stickers, but nah. He’s the real deal, full of talent.”
“Is he ever. I can barely draw a stickman,” Steve grinned as he pulled back, giving Jon a thumbs up. “I’ve been so spoiled. I don’t deserve it.”
“You do deserve it, baby,” Eddie said, scrounging around for Billy’s lighter. “We couldn’t get an actual candle, and there’s no way Billy would have let us waste nineteen cigarettes, so we did the best we could.”
“I love it,” Steve chuckled when he turned around to look at the cake. “Seriously. I love it. This is the best cake I’ve ever seen.”
Once the cigarette was lit – not that Steve would actually be able to blow it out – Argyle started them off with a rendition of ‘Happy Birthday’ sung so dramatically bad that Steve was almost out of breath from laughing so hard by the time they finished.
He realized, after he ‘blew out’ his candle, that both Eddie and Jonathan were right when they had told him when he’d first arrived that there weren’t all bad moments. Prison held a lot of good ones, too, and he was in one. It made him weirdly emotional – made him feel more at home than he had in a long, long time, all while being in a tiny cell with four other convicted criminals. Eddie handed him over a ‘slice’ of cake, which was just one of the many snacks stacked together, before giving everyone else a piece, too. Billy was the only one that didn’t accept any, instead opting to smoke the cigarette ‘candle’ as his dessert.
Steve didn’t ask about it, as much as he wanted to. He wanted to ask why Billy always took the protein from his trays at every meal, why he never ate breakfast and why he always removed the bread of his sandwich during lunch – but he didn’t. Instead, he sat on Eddie’s lap to eat his birthday cake and spend time with the few people that wanted to spend time with him in return.

hi I don't know if you still answer questions about the Gang Age Swap Au but if you do, do Aang and Zuko go looking for the dragons alone, or does Sokka kinda say something like "Hey I want to see dragons too!" and how do the Sun Warriors react to the Avatar travelling with a 12 year old gremlin child?
Universe tag: [Link].
1. Sokka and Zuko have not yet made friends when Zuko and Aang go to the island of the Sun Warriors. They haven't been to the Boiling Rock, so they're still busy hissing and snapping at each other. In fact part of the reason Aang agrees to take Zuko to the ancient ruins of a long forgotten civilization, is to get him away from Sokka so they can both settle down some. This means that Zuko gets to go on a special field trip with Aang, while Sokka is stuck with his boring big sister, and also Toph. If Aang thought this would improve relations between the two, he has another think coming. Sokka's resentment is spectacular.
2. But that's a problem for after they get back. And they have plenty of trouble right there in the island to worry about, all of which Zuko blunders right into. Turns out, the Sun Warriors? Not gone. Not at all. And they have dragons. And Zuko messed with a dragon's egg. And also Iroh is a lying liar, but that's better than being a dragon murderer. And the Sun Warriors keep hinting that Aang needs to keep his twelve year old brat under control. Like he isn't trying very hard to do just that.
3. But they let them present their fire to the dragons, and dance with them. It's a moving experience for Aang, but downright transformational for Zuko, which the chief seems to think is adorable. Zuko comes down off the platform in a daze, and the chief smiles indulgently as Aang hoists him into Appa's saddle. The last thing he says to them both is not to tell anyone about the Sun Warriors and the dragons.
4. Aang hopes said chief never finds out that the very first thing Zuko did upon getting back to the Wastern Air Temple was to tell Sokka all about the Sun Warriors and the dragons.
5. One of the few good points about Zuko and Sokka rushing off to break into a ultra secure Fire Nation prison, is that Katara and Aang (and Toph) only have a few days to deal with Zuko and Sokka being jealous, resentful, bragging, combative, little twits. And then, after worrying everybody frantic (including Toph, though she pretends she's not) they come back with Hakoda and Suki, and they're friends. Suddenly.

Tumblr media
c!dream:
he was planning on proposing to you early on
but you know...
...he kinda got stuck in the prison
however, sam allowed weekly visits because he sometimes has a heart, but was worried about you giving dream too much information
dream waited patiently until he would be rewarded out the prison
he didn't want you to give up your home that he himself built for you just to run away with him
the day second he walked out on the grass, he was down on one knee
"y/n, you've waited so long for me and you alone got me through the tough times. I need you y/n, I can't imagine a life without you. Will you marry me?"
c!George:
kinda funny actually
since being dethroned and residing in Kinko Kingdom, life has been pretty boring
but the good kind of boring
every day was a repeat of the next with a slight difference, but you didn't mind
George spent a lot of his time sleep while you were out and about gardening
you came back after a long day and woke him up
"I just had the weirdest dream... we were getting married?"
"mhm, was it nice?"
"yeah...do you wanna do it for real? like you wanna get married?"
c!eret:
you two had just finished renovating the castle and making it more welcoming to others
you two were standing in the middle of the ballroom, looking at what you two have made together
it was a comfortable and reflective silence
"I couldn't have done it without you," eret reminded you
you stayed silent and hugged him
"Y-You know, I don't think I can rule this place without you."
"What do you mean?"
"Will you be my Queen?"
c!wilbur:
you and wilbur had the most complicated relationship on the server BY FAR
no one could understand why you were together
everyone assumed he was just using you, but it was truly more than that
you were the first person to show him romantic love and show that he made an impact on your life
he decided to be better for you, no more messing around and child play
you two even built a house together outside of Las Nevadas
you were so frightened to come home and see wilbur with stacks of gun powder
"w-wilbur? w-what are you doing?"
he pushed everything to the side and tried to hide it
"n-nothing love, why are you a-asking?"
you were furious with him, he told you he changed, and now here he was, planning another thing
"you told me you were done blowing places up. I can't believe you lied to me! you told me that every night you went out hunting! I should've never believed you. we-"
"y/n, y/n, wait wait! its not what it looks like I promise!"
"it looks like you're gonna make tons of tnt and blow up Las Nevadas and I will not be apart of that"
"you're not listening! im-"
"wilbur we're done. this is too far"
"I WAS GONNA ASK YOU TO MARRY ME WITH FIREWORKS"
you stopped before you could walk out the door and turned
"what did you say?"
"this powder... its all for fireworks, come look at my recipes. I was trying to make a romantic evening for us and was gonna ask you to marry me but no one has ever made words with fireworks so every night I go far away where you cant hear them and do a trial an error"
"yes"
"yes what...?"
"I'll marry you"
c!technoblade:
one random day with no significance
"we're getting married"
c!ranboo:
ranboo would easy be the most thought out
mans planned this for months and got three different approvals on it
a really sweet picnic day overlooking the syndicate
sunsetting
love in the air
and a very love "this is why I love you and why I think we should get married" speech
c!sam:
with dream and techno gone, there was no need to stay at the prison
which finally meant that you and sam could be together
you two waited years to get together because you wanted to commit to each other and be able to see each other every day that you wanted
we all know damn well that he's super protective and ensures that no one tries to start stuff with you
after so many months of seeing each other, sam realized that there was no one else besides you that he wanted in his life
"every time I see you, I can't help but feel the need to protect you. you are the most important person in my life, and I want you to be in it forever. will you marry me?"
c!punz:
you just adored Punz
and you liked him because he always did what you suggested to do
"we should make cake"
"ill go get the sugar"
it was just your dream life
and tbh, you two were not healthy for each other; however, both of you were happy
people tried to turn you two against each other, worried that you would have too big of an influence on Punz, but, its not really that
I mean it kind of is
that's besides the point
what is the point is that you two have become so accustomed to your way of life, there was no turning back
you suggested getting married: "yo wanna go to the court house and sign some papers?"
"do you?"
"yeah"
"yeah that's cool"

A Small Problem - Part 1
My version of @deyageka’s Childinnit au. 3145 words
Dream revived Tommy, but there were unforeseen consequences
"Dweam! I hungy," Tommy complained, he had appeared in the cell after getting revived, with almost no memory of his life. And he looked to be only five or six years old.
"Look kid, all I have are potatoes," Dream snapped. He didn't know which was worse, teen Tommy that actively disregarded him and never listened, or toddler Tommy who was just annoying and never stopped complaining.
"No, no poo-tato," he grabbed the potato Dream had handed him and chucked it in the lava. Tommy had been talking with the same mocking tone all week.
"You have got to be kidding me," Dream glared at Tommy, resisting the urge to kill him again, knowing it would be better if he was alive, even in this state.
"La, la, la, I'm singing, I'm like Wilby," Tommy said, knowing perfectly well he was getting on Dream's nerves.
"Oh thank god," Dream said when he heard footsteps echoing over the lava. "Sam! Get this child out of here!"
"Hi Sam!" Tommy yelled, his high pitched voice hardly recognizable by Sam. "You have a funny name! I am looking for Wilbur!"
"T-Tommy?" Sam said, the disbelief clear in his voice. "Tommy go the the corner in the water!"
"Why?" Tommy asked, clearly not getting the urgency of the situation.
"Just do it you child," Dream demanded, pushing Tommy towards the corner of the cell.
"Okee," Tommy made his way over and stood in the water. Within seconds he was on the other side with Sam. "Hallo! Hehe, Techno always says that. Ooh! I'm big and scawy like Techno!"
"I'm so confused, how are you alive, and why are you, younger," Sam said, not expecting a response.
"I dunno," Tommy shrugged and with a huge smirk began running away from Sam. "Weeeee, freedom!"
"Tommy!" Sam ran after him, eventually cornering him as Tommy came up to the other lava. Noticing the kid's fearful and entranced expression as he started at the lava.
"No, lava bad," he muttered, backing away from it, he didn't know why, he just didn't like it. "Where's Wilbur?"
"I don't know, why don't you come with me and we'll find him," Sam reached his hand out for Tommy to take. Eventually he did. Looking between the lava and Tommy, Sam didn't feel right making him go through all the protocol, not like this. So he lead Tommy through the guards' secret passageways until they got to the main entrance of the prison.
"What is this place," Tommy asked, "why is Dweam in there?"
"This is a place where bad people go, and Dream is a very bad man," Sam said, leading him to the lockers. "Go into the chest and give me the card in there."
"Are you going to put Techno in there," Tommy asked, opening the ender chest and pulling out what Sam had told him.
"Not unless I have to," Sam said, the thought had crossed his mind, but if he did attempt to Phil would defend Techno. The two were powerful, but had stayed isolated in the mountains and didn't currently pose a threat.
"Is this all mine," Tommy looked at the contents in the regular chest in wonder.
"Yes, but we can leave it here or I can hold onto it until we figure this out," Sam said, talking about getting Tommy back to his normal age.
"But it's mine," Tommy said, he pulled out the axe and tried swinging it around, but the weight was made for someone bigger and stronger than him so he ended up falling to the ground. "Uh, you have it. Too heavy."
"I'll give it back as soon as you get back to normal," Sam said, ruffling Tommy's hair as he put the Axe of Peace back. "But first let's get out of here."
"Okay," Tommy said and Sam took him to the secondary exit he made just in case. They landed down in the water the prison had been built on and Sam helped Tommy swim to the shore.
"Tunnel!" Tommy said, pointing at the tunnel leading to Snowchester. "Let's go there!"
"Alright, I'll take you to Snowchester." Sam crafted a boat and got in, with Tommy getting in behind him, humming to himself as they headed towards the snowy biome.
"Who lives here," Tommy asked, taking in every bit of detail and rubbing his hands together to warm up.
"Tubbo does, I think Foolish and Ranboo do as well," Sam said, he knew he would have to go back to the prison to double check all the safety protocol and move Tommy's items.
"Tubbo," Tommy perked up, "let's see Tubbo!"
"I don't think he's here right now," Sam said, he would have to go back to the Dream SMP to see if Puffy or anyone else could watch Tommy, but then he'd have to explain what happened. "Come on Tommy."
"I'm cold," he said, trudging through the snow behind Sam to Tubbo's cabin.
"I know, but you need to stay here while I go do some things," Sam said, grabbing a cloak from a chest and wrapping it around Tommy. "I don't think Tubbo will mind if you look around."
"Who's up there," Tommy asked, hearing noises from the attic. He went over to the ladder and climbed up and opened the trapdoor to see Micheal entertaining himself. "Hallo! I'm Tommy."
"Oh, that's Micheal," Sam said, climbing up behind him. "Be careful. I have to go. Don't go outside, okay?"
"Okee," Tommy said, looking intently at Micheal as he snorted to himself. Tommy then made some piglike noises, making the young zombie piglin perk up and squeal in excitement.
"Wait, you know piglin," Sam asked, pausing as he started back down.
"Techno teached me, he's a pig-in," Tommy said, then made more noises and the two children continued to talk to each other. "Go away now."
"Well have fun, stay safe Tommy," Sam said, climbing down and closing the doors behind him.
Michael started to point at the photos of him, Ranboo, and Tubbo. Tommy looked at them and searched his memory, as far as he could remember Phil didn't have any pictures like that. Michael oinked as he offered Tommy a handful of cake. His stomach rumbled as he looked at the treat.
"Here I can give you a potato," Tommy said, offering one of the raw potatoes he had left over from the prison. "I don't like them." Michael lit up and took the potatoes, happily eating them.
"Hi Michael," Tubbo came up to see them, they hadn't even heard him open the door. "I'm back buddy."
"Michael wishes you and Ranboo were home more, and he's cold," Tommy said, pulling Tubbo's attention to him. "Hallo!"
"I- hello, who are you," Tubbo asked, he didn't think any other children were on the server, let alone human children.
"It's me, Tommy, remember me Tubbo," Tommy grinned, cake frosting covering his mouth. Tubbo froze. There was no way, it was impossible, he was seeing things. He had to be. Slowly Tubbo climbed back down the ladder.
"How is he," Ranboo asked, carrying a armful of red berry branches, he had slowly been working on clearing out all the berry bushes so Michael could safely walk around outside.
"I-I uh, he's cold," Tubbo stammered, still not fully processing what he found out.
"I can make him a coat, we do have the extra fabric," Ranboo said, he climbed up the ladder to see Tommy and Michael.
"You need this more than I do," Tommy pulled off the cloak and wrapped it around Michael. "I'll ask them to put a fireplace up here."
"Well hello there, who are you," Ranboo said, closing the trapdoor behind him. He sat down in front of the boys.
"Tommy," he said gleefully, "I was stuck with a bad man called Dweam, Sam took me here. He's looking for Wilbur."
"I- okay, do you remember anything before that," Ranboo asked, wondering if he knew everything that Tommy did. "Do you remember me?"
"Uh, no, but you're Ranboo right?" Tommy asked, "and why is Dweam in prison? What bad things did he do?"
"Well he killed multiple people, he blew up something that used to be Tubbo's, he stole some things of yours and did alot of bad things to you," Ranboo said, not mentioning how Dream had used him as well.
"Well I don't remember," Tommy said, he looked at Michael who had been jumping in the corner and snorted to him. "He wants to go outside."
"You understand him," Ranboo asked, he had been trying to find a book on piglin but now that he knew Tommy could speak it that would be a big help.
"Yeah, Techno taught me," Tommy said, making Ranboo feel stupid. Of course, he should have asked Techno to teach him, but then again he had no idea when he would wake up, and he might end up having to tell Techno about Michael.
"What do you remember," Ranboo asked, trying to get a better idea of what happened to Tommy, even if he wouldn't remember.
"Uh, Philza and Wilbur are my family, Techno is a friend of Dadza's, he was the ruler of some place," Tommy stifled a yawn, "the Antarctic Empire."
"Do you want to stay here until Sam comes back," Ranboo asked, Tommy nodded, leaning his head against him.
"Mhm," Tommy mumbled, the events of the past week finally catching up with him. Now that he was outside and could see the sun his lack of sleep started to take hold.
"I'll see if we have an extra blanket," Ranboo said as Michael looked at Tommy curiously. He went down the ladder to see Tubbo muttering to himself.
"Ranboo, please tell me I was just seeing things up there," Tubbo said, pacing around. "Cause I thought I saw Tommy, young Tommy."
"Oh he's there alright," Ranboo said, "I didn't believe it at first, but of course I've never seen young Tommy. So he couldn't have been an illusion."
"But how is he alive," Tubbo said, sitting down on one of the chests.
"Maybe Sam will know, cause Tommy doesn't remember why he was in there," Ranboo said, he grabbed their extra blanket. "But he is cute like this."
"Don't let him know that," Tubbo let out a small chuckle. When Ranboo went back up Tommy had fallen asleep in Michael's bed, Michael was lying down by him.
"Tubbo, get up here, you need to see this," Ranboo whisper yelled.
"What is it," Tubbo came up and 'aww'ed when he saw the two boys sleeping next to each other. "I forgot how peaceful he is when asleep."
"He sleeps like a baby," Ranboo said, "we're not letting this go when he gets back to normal, right?"
"Definitely not," Tubbo laughed, imagining the amount of teasing they could do with this.
"Ranboo, Tubbo, are you guys here," Sam called from downstairs.
"Shh, Tommy just fell asleep," Ranboo jumped down with Tubbo following behind. "So why is he like this?"
"Dream said he brought Tommy back," Sam said, "and he isn't happy this happened."
"Back, like back from the dead," Tubbo clarified.
"Yes, I'm going to try to look through my books and see if there's anyway to fix this," Sam said, "I just wanted to make sure Tommy was okay, are you guys good to watch him? If not I'm sure I could find Puffy or someone else."
"Well once he wakes up I could take Tommy with me, he's talked alot about Phil and Techno," Ranboo offered.
"I don't know, Phil hasn't been the best parent to Tommy in the past," Sam said, "I'd much rather have him stay here, where I know he's safe."
"Well we can't keep this a secret forever, the entire server knows he died," Tubbo said.
"But if the Eggpire knows he's alive they'll go after him," Sam said, "Sam Nook warned me that they were trying to kill him."
"I think alot more than just them were after him," Ranboo said, "If I remember correctly Niki said Jack had tried to kill him." He left out the part of Niki trying to as well, but she had changed, and she was part of the Syndicate.
"So we keep this between us right now, once we get Tommy aged back up he can decide what he wants to do," Sam said.
"I'll look through Phil's library for a solution," Ranboo pulled out his book to write down a reminder.
"We still have to tell someone, there's going to be times when we're all busy," Tubbo said, "and Tommy's not going to be as willing as Michael to stay here all day."
"I think we can trust Puffy, and possibly Quackity, that way he can be around different people," Sam said, he would have to check how close Tommy and Quackity were. Foolish was an option as well, and could protect Tommy if it came to it, but with the Eggpire attacking Foolish he wasn't so sure.
Later that day Ranboo had met up with Philza to help him work on his cabin. Phil was in the basement, trading with Techno's villagers.
"So Phil, can I ask you about something?" Ranboo said, coming down to help him.
"Of course mate, what's up," Phil said.
"What's the 'Antarctic Empire'," Ranboo asked, what Tommy said earlier stuck with him. And he knew it was safer to ask Phil before Techno.
"Do not ever bring that up with Techno," Phil said, his tone dark and warning. "Where the fuck did you hear that?"
"I- uh, Ghostbur mentioned something about it so I got curious," Ranboo lied, remembering that Sam had wanted to keep Tommy on the down-low for the time being.
"Alright, just don't tell Techno that I told you," Phil said, "the Antarctic Empire is a land far from here, it's where Techno lived before coming here. It's not quite an empire anymore and is the reason he hates government. He saw the state of everyone who lived there and hated himself for it. So he ended his reign and went into hiding, watching as the Empire tore themselves apart."
"That's crazy," Ranboo said, "but it does explain alot."
The next day Sam had run into Quackity while trying to find Puffy or Ranboo. He needed someone to watch Tommy, but Tuboo said he had other things to do.
"Oh thank god, Quackity can you do something for me," Sam said, stopping him.
"Uh, what is it," Quackity asked as Sam threw a book to him.
"Read that and go into the second floor suite of Tommy's hotel," Sam said, "you are to tell no one, if you have any questions find Tubbo or Ranboo."
"What the fuck, I have things I need to do myself," Quackity called as Sam ran off to finish repairing the prison, but with the mining fatigue he didn't know how long it would take him. Quackity sighed as he looked at the book, it wasn't titled and he decided to just pocket it. He walked to the hotel and when he confirmed Jack wasn't there, went up where Sam told him.
"Hallo!" Tommy waved, making Quackity jump. "Are you Big Q?"
"No, no, no," Quackity shook his head, it had to be some cruel joke.
"No?" Tommy said, "are you sad?"
"No! What's your name?" Quackity said, there was no way this was Tommy. He wasn't a kid, he was dead.
"Tommy, I'm five," he said, then walking back to what he was doing. He took a yellow paper he had cut out and put together, and put it on his head. It was a crown. "I'm like Techno!"
"Okay, but why are you a child," Quackity pulled out the book and began to read it. It explained to him the situation as far as they knew, that he was to keep Tommy hidden, and the added death threat if anything happened to Tommy.
"What's wrong with being a child," Tommy asked, everyone had been talking as if him being like this was wrong. This statement make Quackity burst out laughing, the older Tommy would have never said that.
"I don't know, I mean you're probably less of a handful at this age," Quackity said, ruffling Tommy's hair. He had to make the most of this, and he had the perfect idea of how. "How would you like to help me annoy an old grumpy ghost?"
"Sure," Tommy grabbed the moth toy he had spent all of last night begging Sam and Tubbo to make. "Ready."
"What's your moth's name," Quackity asked as he and Tommy left the hotel. Tommy waved by to Sam Nook as they passed him.
"His name is Clementine," Tommy said, Quackity tried not to laugh again as his British accent fully came out when he said the name. "And you have to say it just like me."
"Okay kid," Quackity spotted Jack in the distance, he was coming in their direction. "Listen to me, we're going to play superheroes right now. My name is Big Q, and yours, what's a name you like?"
"Bird man!" Tommy said, Quackity shook his head, there was no way Jack would buy that. "No, um, Sleepy Boi! It's what Wilbur would call us."
"That works. Now I need you to tell everyone you see that's your name, cause we're under cover and we can't let anyone know our real names," Quackity said, he just had to hope Jack would fall for it.
"Okee Big Q," Tommy said as they passed Jack. He originally walked right by, but did a double take when he saw Tommy.
"Wait is that- no that's impossible," Jack stopped, he said it to no one in particular, but Quackity had heard him.
"Who? This kid," Quackity asked, playing it off. "Why don't you tell Jack your name."
"I'm Sleepy Boi!" Tommy said, putting his fist in the air. There was a moment of confusion on Jack's face, but he seemed to buy it.
"Well if this little guy wants to have a room in my hotel, I might be willing to give it at a discount," Jack said, "well I have work to do, see you around Big Q."
"But that's my hotel," Tommy said as Jack went out of earshot, "Sam told me."
"Well right now you're not old enough to own the hotel," Quackity said, "and because Jack is the only employee he automatically got ownership when you were in the prison."
"I'm going to fire him as soon as I take it back," Tommy said, his head held high.
"Alright, you do that," Quackity chuckled, there was a small chance he would actually do that once they found a way to fix him.

Distant Shores-2
Summary: The heathens came to raid every year, stealing treasures and killing along the way. Your father was the King of Wessex and wanted to strike a deal with the heathens. The heathens and their ruthless numbers in exchange for some lands to farm, riches... and you. You are the Christian princess that is now to marry the Heathen King, a man that you're sure would rather kill you than marry you. This is going to be a miserable marriage.
A Viking!BakugouxReader fic.
Tumblr media
The boat ride back to where the Vikings lived was a long one. As exciting as being on the open water was, to see so much open space it got old quickly. The water would spray at you, soaking you to your bones and causing you to shiver. There also wasn’t much to look at other than the deep blue of the ocean, white fluffy clouds in the sky, the other Viking ships floating nearby.
You also couldn’t really speak to anyone, you did not know their language at all nor they yours. The only one who seemed to know anything was the man that was to be your husband, however he didn’t seem interested in talking. At least not to you. From what you could tell he was grumpy, rude, unpredictable and overall unpleasant. You wondered why these people followed him, weather or not they had a choice in the matter or not. Back home no matter what anyone thought of your father they had to follow, he was King after all. You weren’t quite sure how it worked here but you couldn’t ask either.
You huffed, drawing the fur closer around your body, the same one that had been placed on you near the start of your journey. He had to have a nice bone somewhere in his body, right? If he gave you this fur, then again maybe he just hadn’t wanted to hear you complain. It felt like you had been on the sea forever, and there was a constant chill to you that you couldn’t shake. You had no idea how some of these men were shirtless, though you supposed it would be easy to work up a sweat rowing as they did. You hadn’t ever thought of that, that there were people who did such a job. You hadn’t been on one of your fathers ships and even if you had you wouldn’t have seen the men working so hard to row.  One of the men must have noticed your staring because he gestured to you and then to the oar that he was holding, laughing and joking with the men beside him. However you stood up, giving the man a smile. At this point you’d do anything to warm up and help. You felt useless this entire time, the only person who hadn’t taken a turn to row. The man looked shocked at you as you stood up, gently touching the oar. You weren’t quite sure how to do this, that much was obvious but the man did his best to instruct you without actually speaking. You figured you got the gist of it and it only took you a minute or so to get in sync with the other men rowing. You laughed softly to yourself before starting to feel the burn in your arms. This was a workout, but judging by the men near you and their large arms this was something they were used to. A few of the men near you let out little snickers and chuckles, shaking their heads. They hadn’t expected such a prim and proper lady to do such a thing. You on the other hand, found things like this interesting and wanted to try it all.
It did not last long however until you felt a strong hand wrapping around your upper arm and dragging you up, causing you to drop the oar and gasp slightly. Bakugou was barking angrily at the man that had gotten up from his position while gripping tightly on your arm. You couldn’t understand what he was saying but he sounded angry and you instantly regretted your decision. “It is my fault.. not his.” You managed to get out, your own hand touching Bakugou’s arm.  “Quiet you, you are meant to sit here until we get back.” Bakugou growled as he looked down at you, almost snarling as he deposited you back to where you had originally been seated. You grumbled for a few moments, looking up at Bakugou with narrowed eyes, obviously upset that he had pulled you away from your task.
The two of you were sharing a very long, intense stare. A few of the men around you admired your braveness and said as much, not that you could understand what they were saying to begin with. Soon a spray of ocean water broke your gaze as it came crashing right next to you and you had to move to get out of it’s way. “You sit here, and do not say anything the rest of the way.” Bakugou grumbled as he moved you to a spot where there wasn’t too much spray and threw another fur over you.
His mood was hard to understand, he could be somewhat kind as you’d witnessed before, but he was also surly and rude. To be married to someone like that for the rest of your life, always having to guess at what emotion he had and walking on eggshells. That was not something that you wanted to deal with, however you didn’t have much choice in the matter. Running away? Well you were in the middle of the ocean and once you got back to land your odds weren’t much better. In a foreign land where you didn’t speak the language? Yeah that wouldn’t be good. So at this point you were stuck, with no much choice other than to marry a man you didn’t know or love.
It was a day or so later that seagulls were seen flying above and you saw the men getting excited, so you figured that you must be getting closer to home. Well their home, your new prison. Moments later a small town came into view, huts and longhouses, docks and a beautiful beach. You stayed put where you were however, instead of going to get a closer look. You really didn’t want to anger your future any further.
Soon the men were docking, women waiting with children at the docks smiling happily and waving at what you presumed were their husbands. They were all so happy to see their families some jumped off the boats before they were properly docked and unloaded. You wondered what it was like, to have such a family. You figured you’d never know. Your parents weren’t exactly the loving type, always more concerned with their country and duty. You smiled at watching them reunite, happy for them. Children climbed on their fathers shoulders, heavily pregnant women eagerly hugged their husbands.
You were roughly pulled from your seated position, a calloused hand gripping your upper arm tightly and hauling you towards the docks. You did your best to fall into step beside him, tripping over your own feet as his pace was quick. “Keep up.” He grumbled as he looked back angerly at you before stopping once they had got to the red head you often saw Bakugou hanging around with. He was huddled close to a beautiful, bubbly woman holding a a newborn baby wrapped in furs. The two were cooing over the little thing before Bakugou walked over to them.  “Look at how beautiful she is, you really outdid yourself Mina.”
“Well you had a hand in it as well you know.”  You heard the woman giggle but you had no idea what they were saying so you just stayed put, catching your breath from that walk. Bakugou stayed put, looking down at the baby and you could have sworn you saw a light smile gracing his lips. However whatever was there was gone just as quick.  “She is beautiful.” Bakugou agreed and looked at the two. “Congratulations. A new child is a wonderful thing.” “Who is she?” Mina asked, peeking around Kirishima to get a better look at the woman Bakugou was holding onto so tightly.  “Oh don’t worry about her, I’ll explain later.” Kirishima whispered to her before Bakugou drug her along and she stumbled to keep up. You didn’t dare speak up, not wanting to be embarrassed in front of people you didn’t know. It took a bit but soon you made it to a very big long house where many people seemed to be convening and all were smiling at Bakugou, saying words that you didn’t understand and clapping him on the back. You were sure they were all congratulating and thanking him for a raid well done. You got many curious looks as well, however Bakugou didn’t divulge that information to anyway.  There was a large feast prepared, everyone sat in the great hall laughing and feasting. You were set next to Bakugou, picking at your food because you were just too nervous to do much else. Of course you felt out of place, you didn’t understand any of the conversations going on and the only person who you could speak to seemed much more interested in other things. However a bit after this feast started Bakugou stood up and everyone silenced, even the children were quiet in the presence of their earl.  “We are gathered here to celebrate our great raid!” Bakugou yelled out into the crowd, even if it was quiet he felt the need for such celebration. Everyone yelled out, taking drinks and laughing amongst themselves. “We had a very succesful raid and we shall make it through the winter, if not longer! We did strike a deal with the King of Wessexs. He offered us riches and land in exchange for our army should he need it. We also have his daughter, who I am to marry.” He didn’t say the last part quite happily but it was what it was. He was to marry this girl and that was that. “Now weather or not we uphold our part of the deal is to remain seen. After all if he is going to drag us into a lengthy and pointless war we will not participate, and deal with those repercussions later.” At that the men laughed. “Now eat, drink, celebrate our return and our new riches!”
You hadn’t understood anything that he’d said but you assumed that it had something to do with being back and some kind of pep talk you were sure. It didn’t take a genius to figure it out. Although while the men and women drank, celebrated and got a touch too feely with each other than you were used to you awkwardly sat and watched the festivities. Children running and playing, wives draping themselves over their husbands and some doing everything they could to welcome them back, men sitting around and talking with each other. Your husband to be was doing just that, drinking and talking with a few of the other men you’d seen him around often.
You felt out of place some eyes staring at you and definitely giving you the cold shoulder. You were an outsider, a stranger to their otherwise seemingly close knit unit. Even those who seemed to be servants ignored and moved around you. It had been a very long journey and an even longer night. You felt yourself falling asleep sitting up, while you had no idea where you are supposed to sleep. “Get up.” A gruff voice next to you grumbled and gripped your arm, hauling you up from your seated position. Your eyes opened as you stood and looked up at Bakugou. “You can’t fall asleep at the table. Come.” He commanded as he made his way towards a curtained off area. Once you got past the curtains there was an area with a bed, trunks, spare furs and treasures you hadn’t ever seen before. “You’ll stay here with me, in the bed.” Your eyes went wide at that, having never shared a bed with a man before. However you supposed that this man was going to be your husband.  You nodded before looking around the room and noticing that your one trunk wasn’t here, “Your things are not here... you can sleep in this.” Bakugou threw one of his tunics at you, and while it would be big on you it certainly wasn’t what you were used to and you’d be showing more than you were comfortable with. “I’ll turn around.” He rolled his eyes, grumbling and turning around.
“Thank you.” You whispered, although you knew that he would see it all soon enough you were grateful that he would at least give you this until that day came.
Days came and went, and most of them would have been spent alone had Bakugou not been so generous as to allow one of his men to escourt you around, it helped that he was also fluent in your language. He had joined the Vikings on one of their raids last summer and while some of the men still didn’t trust him he was loyal to them. His name was Shoto Todoroki and he was quiet but kind. He would translate conversations for you, although most of them held no interest for you however some did involve you and most of the women around were upset that you were taking Bakugou. However you weren’t exactly taking him, you’d been forced into this marriage just as much as he had. You also didn’t think that he’d been too interested in the women either.
No one wanted to speak to you, and it was lonely although you did have Shoto but there were times that he had other things to do and you didn’t want him to have to hang out with you all day. He was sweet and kind however and much more of a conversationalist than Bakugou. You would get occasional grunts and commands when you were together but that wasn’t often. He was always busy and kept you under watch whenever he was gone.
A week had gone by since you’d been in the Viking lands and it was time for your wedding. It had been planned quickly and all the traditions were so different from your own. The wedding was on a Friday, because it was Friggas day and she was the Goddess of marriage, love and fertility according to Shoto. You’d bathed in a bath house with Bakugous mother, Mitsuki, to wash away your status as a Maidan. It was usually done with married women of your family however none of your family was here so different arrangements were made. You quite liked Bakugous mother, she was not quite as brash and rude as her son but you saw where he got his personality from.
After your bath your hair was braided and ornaments were placed in it, another tradition you were not familiar with. You were dressed in a blue gown that had been made specifically for this wedding, it was simple as you’d been told your hair was more important than the actual dress. You’d picked up on a few words here and there, as well as Shoto had been teaching you some things. Especially what to say during the wedding, which was something you’d been nervous of.
Once the actual wedding started you were feeling nervous, walking down that long way towards Bakugous back, seeing him wearing his best furs and clothes. During the ceremony you did your best to pay attention, although you didn’t understand everything and just went along with what was happening. Exchanging rings, swords-which was strange for you-and a very chaste, first, kiss. Bakugou looked indifferent the entire time, and you felt much the same. You hadn’t gotten to know him since you’d been here, he was always off working with his people or solving their problems.
There was a large feast held afterwards with plenty of mead flowing and while you hadn’t ever tried the stuff before you decided why not, after all you had no idea what was to become of your wedding night but you had a feeling Bakugou was going to expect something. Where you came from no one spoke of it, however a few cheeky maids had let you in on the secret of losing your maidenhood. You were nervous but figured some liquid courage could help. You sputtered and choked at first, to which your now husband laughed at you for. “Didn’t expect you to want to drink.” He laughed, the mead loosening his tongue a bit. It was the most that he’d spoken to you in days.  “If I am supposed to be your wife maybe I should act like a Viking.” That got another laugh out of your husband who shook his head. This feast was quite a bit like allthe others every night but this one was bigger than the rest and there was much more alcohol flowing through it.
The night dragged on and soon enough you found yourself in Bakugous large bed, naked and surrounded by furs. He could tell you were nervous and so he took his time. Working you up, only to have you crashing down with such a force that you couldn’t explain. The maids might have told you about losing your maidenhood however they hadn’t spoke to it feeling like this. Just when you thought you couldn’t take anymore he proved you wrong. You didn’t think that it could feel like this, nor did you think Bakugou could be so gentle and nice. At the end of it you could hardly keep your eyes open and Bakugou cleaned you up and dressed you, covering you up with furs. He might not have wanted this marriage but he wasn’t going to be the biggest asshole in the world. At least not tonight.
A/N: I did my best to add in viking wedding traditions although it was a little hard because a lot of them involved thins with family and obviously reader does not have family here! Yes I decided to put Kirishima and Mina together, idk why it just seems like a good pairing to me and I’ve seen it in quite a few fics as well! Mina is also a warrior but she stayed behind because she was still pregnant at the time of the raid starting. Also when things are in italics that is when they are speaking the Viking language. Also I am not adding smut in because I can’t control if a minor is going to read this or not plus I am not good at writing it anyway haha. This got a little dry and boring in the middle, I apologize but The next part will start to get a little more angsty and juicy so I hope you’re ready!!
