And like, why does it matter?? Yeah, I’m a BuckTommy shipper who started watching DO after the breakup because my week has been shit and I needed a pick me up and I heard that DO was doing on screen canon threesome and just had to see.
So I watched 6 episodes in one afternoon, and then within 72 hours had a ody3 fic published. I haven’t published anything for 9-1-1 for a year, and this show woke me from my writing slumber.
Do they not want my content for this show just because of my opinions on another one? There’s only 36 works, and I’m one of them. Enjoy the fruits of one BuckTommy shipper.
Apparently can't escape the bullshit even in ody3...the tag that you popularised imo.
Not BT fans that harassed love interests for years.

I MADE THIS TAG WHAT ARE ANTI-BUCKTOMMYS DOING HERE
Also the audacity to act like Buddie fandom wasn’t notorious for harassing every woman (and the one man) who got in the way of their fated MLM ship. You don’t get the moral high ground if your people are the ones that harrassed Megan West, LFJ, Analise Cepero, or Gabrielle Walsh

Thank you so much for having a bi man in a het relationship in which his sexuality is both acknowledged and not a problem. I've never seen a relationship like that in media or irl and it means the absolute world to me as a baby bi 💖💜💙. On that note, when did Sam and Mark first kiss?
Neither had I, which is why I wrote it! Oftentimes in media, if there is a bisexual person, it’s a woman who just “doesn’t like labels” and is “up for anything” (btw, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with either of those things - those are totally acceptable ways to identify if that’s what you feel, it just was used as a stand-in for saying the word bisexual for a long time). That woman’s bisexuality is usually used as a stopping point into a het relationship or as a way to show that she’s slutty (again, nothing wrong with sleeping around (responsibly and consensually of course) but, c’mon, that’s usually not the point those shows are trying to make).
Thankfully, we’re seeing a lot more positive representation of bi women now (Grey’s Anatomy, B99, Jane the Virgin, the 100, Crazy Ex (a lot of stuff on The CW lbr)) and even some good bi male rep (haayyyy Crazy Ex look at you go and, well, Hannibal? That feels weird though, bc how can it be positive rep if he’s a cannibal, ya know? (also I think he’s technically pan)).
But bi men are still woefully underrepresented and that’s a real problem given how high things like depression rates are in the bi community already. When you add the way that society treats men who struggle with mental illness, bi men hardly have any community to turn to where they’ll feel accepted. As a bi woman who’s experienced biphobia in both queer and het communities (I’ll be honest - more in queer communities, it’s a real bummer), I think this is one of the few instances in which I have it better than my white dude counterparts (bi MOC face even more prejudice). And that really bums me out.
Sorry, did not mean to go off on a tangent here, I just feel strongly about bi stuff, obviously. But ANYway, I’m really glad that you found that aspect of our show meaningful. Being in a relationship with Sam doesn’t make Mark less bi, nor does it make him more likely to be unfaithful. And Sam doesn’t care that he’s attracted to dudes, it’s more the dude in question that’s a problem (which I think is justified in this case).
But let me say to you, baby bi, that you are valid and loved and kick-ass. Keep doing you.
OH and as for your question. Sam and Mark’s first kiss was in Joan’s office. It actually technically happens during an episode, though we’re not in the room. Episode 35, when Mark is finally reunited with everyone, Sam and Mark go into Joan’s office at one point and they totally made out. Chloe knew obviously, and Joan suspected, but they never acknowledged it.
