#bolo liveblogs#3d workers island#3dwiscr#3dwi.scr#I read 3dwiscr tonight and while I think a reread is in order I *did* go through the tag + online discourse about it#and found a substack post which wrote about the program as being in-universe authored by an adult survivor amber#who created it as a sort of cathartic art piece/exercise in getting people to understand her trauma and take it seriously#as the only possible option wrt to the nature of the story.#which was interesting bc I had picked up from the hard cut from pam-the-abusive-forum-mother to pam-the-character-online that pam was in#some kind of ghost in the machine situation or at least that pam's character was based on a real life woman.#there are also some people who treat 3dwiscr as having supernaturally manifested + I think it could also have been#a mundane *creation* that has been cursed by the suffering of the real-life amber or something like that.#idk.
