#which is sad but deku just takes it because ofc he does

I can't believe Horikoshi decided to parallel togachako with shigaraki and deku, but also with kacchan and izuku, because there are multitudes into their relationship.
Ochahimi has this obvious textual side going on for a long time that its meant to be seen along Shigaraki Tomura and Midoriya Izuku: a hurt villain and a hero who feels the need to stop the pain. Two sides of the same coin. Will they take their hand? How could they reach out? Is there any hope for the rejected? We have different scenes in which its clear Uraraka and Midoriya have this idea of saving someone who is hurt even if they are a villain, the flashbacks of their conversation before the war, but surprisingly Ochako doesn't think of it as much as Izuku in this final battle -clearly stated, is when Himiko is giving her own blood to save her and explaining how she felt like her heart was floating when Uraraka touched her. The flashback reminds us of Izuku talking about how "maybe theres no way to avoid a battle, but I cant ignore what I saw deep inside him".
But Ochako isn't happy even if she got there, even is Toga tells her she made her happy. She's tired, sad, and desperate to stop her when she cant even move.
Its difficult to analyze Izuku's emotions, but once again, we can try to work with what we currently have! As far as we know, Izuku isn't really having that much of a conflict in terms of if he should save Tenko or not -the problem was external. What would the OFA users think? He challenged them by staying true to his inner core, and they accepted him, but we don't see him struggling with the idea of him reaching out to Tenko in itself like Ochako, who actively tried to forget about Himiko.
I interpret his flashbacks to his conversation with Ochako as a reminder of the person behind the villain, because he is also feeling something else: anger. Izuku was really hurt during this battle both physically and, I would argue mostly, mentally. As he himself said, he can't forgive Shigaraki, just try to stop the crying child from hurting, and the reminder of Ochako's own goals and words are a reminder of his own intentions; lets not forget, moments later he took control after seeing Katsuki's dead body, he attacked Shigaraki in ways that would cause severe damage -like in the middle of his chest, causing a hole.
Uraraka doesn't actually try to hurt Toga, but use her martial arts training in order to both dodge and tackle her, so she can hear what she has to say. I re-read the chapters around Katsuki's revival, because I was wondering, "does Izuku remember this before or after he locked eyes with Bakugou?", and the answer is after*. The other time he thought about it was before leaving the togatsuchako battlefield, when Ochako encourages him to not worry and go get Shigaraki.
So, what I mean by this is, Ochako Uraraka and Izuku Midoriya are not the same person, and they don't feel the same way for their main villains, just like Tomura Shigaraki and Himiko Toga don't feel the same for their main heroes, and are not the same. Izuku actually feels resentment and anger for Shigaraki, he cant forgive him, but he also doesn't want to kill and punish like that; he is a savior, if he has to fight he will, but in his heart he knows what he prefers' maintaining peace, and help the ones who are vulnerable. He sees the villain, and he sees the child who grew up abused and sad; he is a sweet boy, ofc he would try to stop the crying somehow. His conflict with him now, Im guessing, is that he doesn't really feel like he actually saved him -after all, he disappeared after the last punch, and he still considered himself the leader of the league who wanted to destroy everything. He gave him his autonomy back and tried his best, but his last words and request feel like a completely different "task" than what he envisioned; it makes him think, about what heroes and villains even mean in their society, and who gets to decide those things. How can he continue with Shigaraki's legacy?
In another hand, Ochako's conflict don't come from her own moral compass, but from what she is supposed to do; before she even saw sadness in her face she thought positive things about her -she has a cute smile, she is really honest with her feelings, and isnt scared to be open with others, and she envies that. She envies the villain Himiko Toga, and relates to her, and feels connected to her. So her pain feels even more personal when it shouldn't; she isnt her family, she is someone who has tried to hurt her and her friends over and over while being so happy about it. She is weird!
Besides the thoughts about society and who helps both heroes and villains, which are really important for her character and goals, the other side of their problem is... the way Ochako was refusing to see and accept her own weirdness. Interacting with Himiko was chaotic, confusing, and left her full of doubts about herself and what she wants, because isnt she even weirder if she wants to be more like her? How can she admit those thoughts out loud? Anyone would agree that behavior is disgusting, but... she can't hate her. She can't try to punch her, or hurt her, and she never was able to no matter how much she tried to convince herself this is the only way.
Her conversation with Izuku opened her mind and heart to start accepting what she truly wants to do to Himiko instead of what she has to do as a hero. What does she want? To stop her. Her hurt. Her tears. To make her happy, and to keep her alive. She wants to see everyone happy, to get peace.
This is why her conflict is both related to Shigaraki and Deku, and Katsuki and Izuku; in one aspect its about morality, heroism, villainy and society as a whole. Himiko will question how things works constantly, and she can't ignore it. And at the same time, there's an emotional side to it; she has multiple confrontations with her, where miscommunication and holding back hurts them both. She pushes herself to be more like others, but it doesn't feel right anymore; Himiko makes her see her own self hatred, and jealousy and care grow more and more. Why can't see just do the right thing to maintain peace?
Just like Izuku was surprised by Katsuki's tears during their second fight, Ochako gets concerned by Himiko's, when she interpreted Uraraka's words as her rejecting her love -and therefore, whole self. Is not until the second war that she even realizes Toga actually loves her in the same way she loves Izuku, being a little clueless herself.
It doesnt sit right with her to do the "normal" thing, because she isn't normal at all; she thinks about making a villain happy, and how lovely her smile is. Her honesty and openness to be unapologetically herself, no matter how much others try to push her down or change her attitude; she hurts others, she knows that's wrong and agrees with that generalized sentiment... but hate her for it? She tries to do it, but it doesn't work. Inside of her heart, she knows what her emotions are telling her, and its not anger.
This is messy, my head hurts, but Im hoping I can write something better and longer in the future. I guess it makes more sense that drawing of Shigaraki, Izuku, Ochako, Himiko and Katsuki all together. I always wondered, if this is about heroism and society, Katsuki shouldn't be there, and if it is about emotions and rivalries, then it would be Tomura.
If you read this far, thank you for your time, and apologies for the confusion the writing could have caused you.
*My internet is going really slow, so im not re-reading all of the chapters after Izuku's arrival in the battlefield, so I cant 100% say this is the very first time he does remember it. Once im able to, or someone checks it for me -wether im right in my statement or not-, I'll edit it to be accurate with the material.

part one
mtha thots: the manga makes me really sad and i think children deserve a childhood so i made this to cope
all characters are 18+
Warnings: it’s long but, other than that, none <3

Shouto Todoroki:
truth be told, shouto never wanted children
he knew how important someone’s childhood meant
shouto honestly couldn’t trust himself not to mess it up :(
so imagine his surprise when he came to fall in love with this little boy, no older than six, he found snooping around a dumpster
it’s actually kind of funny how they came to be bc shouto was 100% put off by the kid
when they made eye contact, they stared at each other like
shouto:🧍🏻
the boy: 👁👄👁
shouto again:🧍🏻
before the brat blew him a raspberry and tried to run off
ofc he caught up to him and, despite the boy’s tantrum, the two went straight to the police
and for some reason, todoroki ended up with him in his condo
the first couple of weeks were terrible
it seemed like Yuuma hated his guts
shouto let him have his space and only really pestered him when it was time to do the essentials
at midoriya’s suggestion, he’d try and talk to him about his day or how his therapy sessions went, but it was no use
the boy would tell him not to worry about it and scurry off
this happened for some time and honestly, todoroki was at his wit’s end
until one day, shouto realized that it wasn’t that the child hated him, he just didn’t want to be a burden him
then everything clicked
mustering up the courage, todoroki one day asked Yuu if he’d like to help him make dinner and the way the kid’s eyes brightened up at the chance to be useful made him a bit sad
but he pushed it away in favor for how the boy blossomed as he showed shouto the right way to stir meat stew and make onion rings
at the end, the red n white hero gave him an honest smile and thanked him for his help
Yuuma looked at him for a long time before bursting into tears
it was the first time shouto had seen him cry in weeks
it was also the first time they hugged
from then on, it was almost magical how well they clicked
the boy was exitable and extroverted, todoroki was quiet and reserved
they were both stubborn to a fault sometimes and that didn’t bode over well during the few disagreements they had but they brought the best out in each other
shouto made the kid feel safe and secure, always reminding him that anything he did for him was never burdensome
Yuuma gave the hero a confidence boost and a chance at another type of love he never knew he wanted
the first time his son called him dad was when todoroki made the adoption official
Yuuma shyly asked if it was okay that he called him his father and shouto will not admit to the tears he desperately tried to hide from a teasing midoriya and his siblings (ofc he had them there)
no one knows this but todoroki literally had separation anxiety the first couple of years
his child was just fine being with the babysitter but shouto would spend his work days/nights feeling very tense being away from him
called/texted the kid all the time, left him encouraging sticky notes in his lunch box, and would hug him for at least 3 min before leaving the house
he’s such a mother hen bye
he’s lucky yuu adores him bc he was lowkey doing a lot LMAO
they have movie nights together and geek over manga like nerds
yuuma cosplayed as roy mustang once and todoroki has an album of pics from that day alone
todoroki’s the type to randomly bring his son fruit just because
yuuma regularly slept in shouto’s bed/futon until around 7th grade
as his son got older, and more popular (w the ladies AND gents hehe) at school, todoroki got a little jealous bc yuuma wanted to spend more time with his friends
he was legit hurt the first time yuu canceled on movie night to go to a sleepover 🥺
todoroki moped over it until midoriya told him to knock it off 💀
it’s a shameful quality of his, but shouto will always lie to get his kid out of the stupid shit he gets himself into only bc yuu plays really funny pranks
has to keep himself from laughing in front of the principle
they’re both lowkey mischevious asf
he’ll scold him later tho so it’s okay, he’s responsible™️
shouto always calls yuu “son”
if he calls him by his full name, he’s either sad or annoyed w him
during family gatherings, yuuma is the star of the show bc of his superb cooking skills
he and fuyumi get along great
and surprisingly enough, bakugo adores the kid even though the same can’t be said for todoroki himself
yuuma wants to open a restaurant and he’s a little afraid of his father’s reaction
little does he know, shouto is ready to hand over his black card at moment’s notice purrr✨
he’s a really supportive father and he has his hiccups, but todo tries his very best and his son makes him impossibly proud every day
oh and did i mention they wear matching sweaters?
they’re that kind of family
it’s so cute i could die
Midoriya Izuku:
midoriya was born and bred to be a father
change my mind
i mean look at that face
that’s daddy material to me 😌
anyways
midoriya has two girls that are about a year apart
due to the immense pressure of being with the #1 hero and an unwillingness to be a mother, his then girlfriend at the time suddenly left him, signing over all maternal rights to the hero
it just crushed izuku
he spent weeks trying to look for her and to make it work
he wanted his girls to have a two-parent household, but she went radio silent
it was a difficult adjustment
but deku is the most ambitious and resiliant person on the planet so he was devoted to giving them the best lif he could
and ofc he had the support of all his friends and his mother
but there were a lot of ups and downs
mostly downs in the first year being a single parent
at the time, his youngest wasn’t even one whiles eldest was almost two
and izuku worked a lot
being #1 meant he was the country’s go-to whenever something happened and he missed a lot of stuff he’d never get to redo
like his youngest, Maia’s, first word which was “bunny”
and the first time his oldest, Naomi, went to the bathroom by herself
and izuku will never forget the day he came to pick his kids up after being on a week long international mission
when he reached out for them, they looked at him as if they didn’t know who he was
izuku spent the entire night crying in inko’s arms
the next morning, he only had to deliver some paperwork, but everyone noticed the usually chipper hero’s sour mood and stayed clear from his path
even bakugo and todoroki felt chills when izuku passed by
it was tough, but deku was determined
he started taking up night shifts so he could be there for his girls during the day
he’d pick them up from inko’s right after work and spend the day playing with them
izuku stayed up on a dangerous amount of caffeine and will power
there were days he literally passed out from exhaustion, but it was worth it to see them through their milestones
when Naomi went to kindergarten, he couldn’t stop buzzing around w excitement
he just adored listening her ramble on about what she learned and that persisted on even as she grew
like, she’s a genius
she was his doppleganger in intellect and resilience
she’s def a daddy’s girl and although she’s not as empathetic as her father, they’re very close
naomi is an excellent older sister and stepped up early when izuku couldn’t always be there
maia is izuku’s match in personality
she’s very sweet, a bit more extroverted, and compassionate
but pls don’t get it twisted, that girl gives the fam a run for their money
she’s got izuku’s righteousness but heightened 100x and with a lot more anger
the girl’s got quite the mean mug and she got hands highkey
they both do tbh (i mean, izuku is their dad...)
the amount of fights naomi’s had to back her up in is ridiculous 😭
they’re two peas in a pod tho so if you mess w one sister, you mess w both ‼️
regardless of all that, izuku wouldn’t change them for anything
he’s the type to obnoxiously kiss them on their cheeks before school
they’ll take turns doing each other’s hair
izuku gets pigtails that he proudly wears to work
deku has a private instagram that is so filled with those two, sometimes ppl forget it’s his
he def has a “girl dad” t-shirt
he calls them his angels 🥺
i see him getting a tattoo of their names on his arm or something
they’re all cry babies so when they get into arguments, it doesnt last long
both girls went to UA to be heroes and izuku’s heart just soars with pride every day
he also cried an obnoxious amount and for some odd reason, kept popping up for “demonstrative purposes”
they had to have a family talk so they could tell him to stop babying them in the kindest way possible
and by that i mean, naomi said it bluntly and maia did damage control lmao
overall, izuku loves those girls more than life and they love him just the same
raising them was a rollercoaster, but he’d do it all over again in a heartbeat
Sero Hanta:
another one that just looks like he’d be an amazing father
please have my children sir
sero is one of the few that was actually looking to adopt a kid
he came from a large family and desired connection with a family of his own
he tried a for a while, but it never seemed to happen
until he came about a small girl he met on the off chance of passing by her hospital room when he was getting a quick check up
she was one of the children they saved on a mission and when he saw her curled up on the hospital bed that seemed to swallow her whole, his feet moved on their own
the girl, Keiko, was left injured and an orphan, yet despite her circumstances, she was just a joy to be around
sero spent the rest of visiting time with her and just knew she was it for him
she was very sick so he’d spend his breaks visiting her at the hospital
keiko was a huge cellophane fan and it just melted his heart 🥺
she’d have a huge smile on her face, unabashedly showing off her missing front tooth, every time he walked in
they’d spend hours just drawing or talking about their day
when sero shyly brought up the possibility of adopting her, keiko could barely contain herself
she drew him one of her best pieces as a thank you and sero still has it hanging on his mirror to this day ❤️
keiko’s actually quite the artist so there’s many more up there to keep it company
the adjustment period went smoother than anticipated
the girl had her moments and hanta was getting used to being a 24/7 parent, but it was like they quickly acted as if they had been blood related their entire lives
they are ride or dies for each other LMAO
they don’t argue
like at all
the worst they ever got was when keiko rushed to help her father on the job when she happened to see him get hurt
sero yelled at her in panic
it was so startling that they avoided each other for the time being
but a few hours later, sero went and apologized
and that was that
keiko had frequent nightmares and sero would sacrfice copious hours of sleep so that he could turn on the projecter and give her a run down about every star in the “sky” before she falls asleep
he actually bought and named a star after her for her first bday with him
sero pats her head a lot and she hates it
he calls her squirt, sport, kid, and princess if they’re having a soft moment
they have an unholy amount of matching onsies
the kid was already getting to the stage where she wanted to be independent, but she would let her father pick out her outfits sometimes
only bc he put a lot of effort into doing it
aka, she caught him crying over cute pintrest pics bc he’s a simp
okay but sero really, isn’t much of a crier, but he’s sentimental asf
every milestone is recorded
every school night, hes there (she was a good kid, so he all but gloats w pride after every visit w the teachers)
any drawing she makes, he has
he’ll do anything to be there for his daughter so it really crushed him when he couldn’t go to her high school’s father daughter dance
sero had a mission he couldnt get out of and he was sorely pissed off about it
keiko assured her father that it was okay and that it was corny anyways
but he could hear the disappointment in her voice
he made kirishima go with her anyways bc he didnt want her to miss out on the experience
and you bet your ass that when she came back home, sero was there in a tux with the living room set up to make it up to her
it is just as cheesy as you think it is, but they’re cute so who cares
also the way they both can dance is crazyyyyyy
rhythm isn’t even the word
if there was a competition for best father-daughter dance duo, they would win every time! and i stand by that!
they have at least one viral tiktok dance they did together
sero’s not the emotional type, but the first time keiko had a boyfriend he def made a threat or two to him
it was actually so scary
anyways
they’re honestly the cutest duo and everyone on the block agrees
i love it ❤️

So, a quick question. Do you think Shoto would be a little bothered with Izuku's Hero name when it was first introduced? Like, something about it bothered him, but he couldn't figure out what it was and so said nothing? Only to later figure it out, but be unsure how to bring it up?
Ooooooo awesome question! :O
I reckon you're right! When Izuku first announces his hero name, Shoto is insanely bothered by it, because he's only ever known 'Deku' to mean 'puppet' and Shoto knows from first-hand experience that being a puppet isn't a good thing... But he gives Izuku the benefit of the doubt - maybe it could mean something else. After all, Uraraka wouldn't call him that if it meant something bad.
What makes him uneasy though is that it was Bakugou who started it, and Shoto already doesn't know how to feel about Bakugou... It also doesn't help that his classmates also seem a bit shocked by the name when he first announces it.
So, he does some digging and realises that it means 'useless person' (he's had a sheltered life and never learnt all the playground insults).
Then he gets angry, truly angry.
Because the Sports Festival is still fresh in his mind and Shoto's still figuring things out at this point. He's trying to make amends and overcome his hatred of his flames and it was Izuku who helped him start that journey. Izuku, who deliberately threw the match to save Shoto from himself. Izuku, who became Shoto's hero that day.
To then hear Izuku call himself 'Deku' under the guise that it sounds like 'Dekiru' feels like an insult to his friend.
That being said though, Shoto doesn't actually bring it up for a while, because Izuku is his first ever friend and he doesn't want to fuck things up and make him sad, not when he's already done so much for Shoto.
Until one day, Bakugou spits the word at him one too many times and Shoto can't take it anymore.
'Why do you call yourself "Deku"? You're not useless and if you just chose it because it sounds like "Dekiru", why not just use that instead?'
Izuku is initially shocked by the question, but he still explains it as best as he can. He tells Shoto about how he's re-claiming the word so it can never be used to hurt him; to show others that even the deepest insults can't prevent someone from achieving their dreams. He wants to show Bakugou that 'Deku' is the name of a hero.
Shoto still isn't buying it though. It's like him going by 'Masterpiece' to show his old man that he's walking along his own path to be a hero.
He says as much to Izuku and it hurts him - he knows from the way his friend looks at him - but Shoto's always been honest and if he thinks something is wrong, he can't just pretend it doesn't exist.
I don't really know how they'd resolve the issue tbh - both of them are quite strong in their opinions. I have three potential outcomes though :')
1) Izuku would eventually realise that 'Dekiru' is a better choice and starts to go by that instead (which is what I personally wish canon would do asdfghjkl).
2) Shoto would learn to respect his friend's decision and start using 'Deku' when they're on duty.
3) He would understand Izuku's need to call himself that, but Shoto refuses to call his friend by anything other than 'Midoriya' (until they start using first names and stuff ofc), and Izuku is okay with that.

My bad opinion: Monoma doesn't deserve the treatment he gets from the rest of UA. Aizawa legit choked him out and he doesn't even know the kid. Mirio calling him the dark side of UA is bad as well. Also why does everyone resort to hitting him when he's in a manic mood. I understand it's funny but I wish they showed class B being nice to him during his manic mood once. Also Kaminari calls him mentally ill everytime they meet and it pisses me off that people ignore that. 1/2
Heeey there, whats up, Anon? Nice to see meet you
SO. Let me talk a little bit about this whole Monoma situation (And yeah, I already done this in other post, but I love writing rants, and you give me a perfect excuse. Thanks)
Bakugou
Im gonna start poiting out something that may seem out of the blue for some people who know me. I do NOT dislike Bakugou at all, hell, Im even a bakudeku shipper and their relationship, I think, is one of the few reasons I still feel draw to the story.
I feel like is natural that people cares more for Bakugou than for Monoma. For starters he is a main character, and for that reason he gets a lot more of screen time. Also he is good looking, and people tends to overlook bad characters developments when the characters in question are"hot"
NOW, HAVING ESTABLISHED THAT.
Yes, Bakugou has more screentime than Monoma. Is reasonable that Monoma is not the favorite. Now, why is that a issue?Because there are significant flaws on the story and in the development of characters.Yes, Bakugou is a main character that has more screentime, and yes, he does have emotional moments in the sotry that make you feel or him. And yet is not enough. And plase keep in mind that Im not here saying he deserves the worst of fates because he was a bully. I suffered from depression and anxiety all my life, and people on school bullyed me in horrible ways for that same reasons. And yet, I can tell that BNHA is a fictional piece of media. I can discern between reality and fiction.Probably because I’m a filmmaker who studied about this, but I learned that a review of a piece of art cant be done focusing in only one specific point, because if you do, you lose sight of the biggest picture. Yes he was bad, but what is the author trying to say here? How is the author writing the character development? I think Horikoshi does knows what future he wants for Bakugou, i do truly think that he wants this to be a big redemption arc, and put Bakugou and Deku side to side as the greatest heroes ever for the end of the story…. But…. Horikoshi struggles a lot with character development. A lot of people who likes Bakugou, excluding those who just like him for his looks, do it because they can see the potential and get the general idea.Which is great. but the character development, at this point of the story, is just not enough. Not enough to justify a lot of Bakugo current actions. Hell, even my bakudeku heart was disappointed with the movie because the structure of the story was weak and Bakugou arc went to nowhere. Instead of meaningful conversations or actions between characters (Wich there a few are ofc, I almost cried watching Deku vs Kacchan) , we have to assume the Bakugou aggressiveness is just endearing now. And that’s just not how this work.
I realy hope Horikoshi gets better at writng Bakugou develoment because I truly think he could be such a good character. Im rooting for him.
Now, how I connect this with Monoma?
Monoma
Monoma, just like Bakugou, can be a “problematic” character. (God hate to use that word) but the differences between the both of them are crystal clear.
1) Monoma is not a main character, so even if Bakugou is this aggressive and short tempered character, we still see the other side of him because, again, he has more screentime. With Monoma we cannot see the other side of him that often, which can be a problem when the only side you show of a character is such a pathetic and unfair side. In comparison, you would think Monoma is worse than Bakugou, but thats only because they are showing us only the worst side of Monoma. Wich bring me to the second point.
2) Monomas mental state is treated as joke. Just as I said that I don’t care about Bakugou being a debetable ex bully, I should say the same here and affirm that just because they make fun of his mental issues it shouldn’t affect me, even if I deal with depression and anxiety. Well kids, let me tell you something: You are wrong. Why you may ask? For a little concept called: Character development. With Bakugou, even if is FAR from perfect, does have more little moments here and there, where you can see the other side of him. Monoma isn’t that lucky. So you are showing just his crazy side and making fun of that. Which just simply bad and a little sad that you think that is a good character design. When you have a piece of media with this kind of success, you cant ignore this. You just can not. You need to take responsibility of what you put out there. And we are talking about Monoma, but we could also be talking about how they treated their token characters, how they treat those characters who are mentally unstable (cofcofTwiceforexamplecofcof). That is just another rant, but is bad. Realy bad.
BNHA has a really problem in justifying villainous actions just because class A or a Pros do them. And yes I’m talking about Mineta and Endeavor, but Im also talking about a lot of your Favs like Aizawa, or class A students.I understand that in japanese culture Monoma being loud and weird and just being legitimately crazy is funny. But some things you can’t justify. Just like you cant justify a lot of what happened in this story and how some characters are treated.
3) Monoma was supposed to be different. We all know about this, he was meant to be this cunning strategic individual who could actually be more interesting that the freaking main character, but because he dared to do look at Bakugou in the wrong way, the fans started hating him,so Horikoshi changed him… I just can’t . How could an author change his characters because of that reason? Sometimes you have to stand with your ideas man.
Anyway, I liked the JTs Monoma. And I hope Shinsou ends up in class 1B with him. THAT would be an interesting writing. But I learned to never expect anything. So… We’ll see

My Musical Academy pt 2
· The whole sequence of “What Time Is It” with the roles I set in post number 1 gets funnier.
· Bakugou ofc owns the resort everyone got their summer jobs in.
· Iida lifting everyone’s spirits, and Ochako helping him. Bakugou is mildly amused by this, and decides to invite everyone to participate in the end of summer talent show.
· Todoroki complains that he doesn’t want to work because this whole thing was idea of his dad. He still does it, but only bcs Iida is his best friend and this means a lot to him.
· Actually Deku is also working there bcs he’s trying to help his mother with the bills. He’s happy to see that Iida is lifting everyone’s spirits and looks up to him.
· ALSO none of the bullshit about complicated romance things. Ochako and Iida are happy and participate with his own song. Their conflict is a big convoluted fight over which song of Hamilton they should use to the talent show.
· THE I DON’T DANCE SEQUENCE WITH TODODEKU. Bcs for some reason, Todoroki thinks that bcs Deku is a theatre kid he can’t play sports.
· BOY IS HE WRONG

· gAY REALIZATION ft Todoroki

· Bakugou doesn’t pick iida to perform with him. He choses Kirishima.
· “Bakugou, let’s take it easy, I’m new to this whole performing thing…”
· “FIVE SIX SEVEN EIGHT”
· Cue explosions
· Bakugou being 120% more extra than in post 1 simply bcs he can.
· Ochako and Iida keep fighting about their songs but make everything 300% more dramatic and they keep singing “I Gotta Go My Own Way” when Iida refused to let Ochako perform Schuyler Sisters.
· “WE DON’T HAVE TWO OTHER GIRLS”
· “YOU CAN PLAY ELIZAS PART”
· “WHAT ABOUT PEGGY”
· “MENTION THREE LINES PEGGY SAID IN THE REST OF THE PLAY”
· “SHE’S IMPORTANT OCHAKO”
· “Why is Iida running around the golf screaming?” Todoroki asks.
· “I think he got in a fight with Ochako.” Izuku says from Todoroki’s lap.
· I just need the shot of “Bet On It” from far away guys.
· Kirishima and Bakugou rock the scene with their performance.
· Izuku performed “My Grand Plan” with Todoroki’s help. It was his dream to do it. At least once.
· Iida is sad af . He lost his partner.
· He’s confused when Izuku stands next to him, out of the nowhere.
· Ochako shows up at the last minute, wearing heels and a suit, yelling “THERE RIGHT THERE.”
· Iida fUCKING GETS IT. Not even 0.01 seconds later.
· They start singing gay or European everyone loses their fucking mind.
· Honestly Bakugou starts laughing like a madman so he gives them the fucking award because shit
· He hasn’t laughed that hard since forever
· Bakugou ends up closing the pool the next day so everyone can have fun in a giant party.
· It’s really gay.
