TBH the more we explore Orym’s relationship with death the more I think the Matron suits him as much if not more than the Wildmother. Now, disclaimer, I’m not expecting him to become more religious or whatever, and even if he did that does not have to mean a multiclass; nor will I get through every detail and bit of meta surrounding this. That said for meta reasons I’d imagine multiclass could likely coincide (Liam has a track record there). That said, I do want to explore and speculate about it a bit.

Orym clearly loves nature and has had very favorable interactions with the Wildmother, but I think something is missing there. Beyond that Orym has had his whole life to connect to the natural world in a magical or divine way and it just hasn’t happened. He could just com into it late, but for there’s clearly some barrier there. For the meta of course Orym was built specifically to NOT explore that, but tbh that does extend to magic as a whole. However I would like to pose that there’s just a very different vibe between nature aligned Wildmother and death/fate/blood aligned Matron even if they are both divine, AND divine magic is clearly different from Druidic -though of course not entirely seperate.

So how about The Matron? As stated she’s quite different from the Wildmother, but the two are both connected to a certain “natural duty” in maintaining a form of order and balance in the world. However the Matron seems more solemn in her obligation, those duties are of paramount importance to her. I think that form of duty does fit Orym, if one word describes him it’s probably Duty. More personally for Orym, I think there’s a draw there due to his more recent experiences with death and the danger he faces, and has choosen to do so. Orym has always felt the need to protect despite the risk. He’s always been close to death -in his adult life- that’s what he chose, he and Will knew becoming guards meant possibly dying. He respects death and the dead. He knows dealing death is a serious matter and treats it as such. He seemed to connect with what the Matron presented, grave duty and peace in death. He’d only be exploring a new aspect of things he’s already dealing with, all from someone who while not warm or kind, does understand obligation and the difficulty but necessity and drive to fulfill it despite the consequences.

If he were to multiclass I don’t think Paladin is in the cards for him, his strength and charisma are just too low mechanically. Druid is out, he’s spent too long around them and not picked it up to go that route, Ranger is unlikely for similar reasons. So, cleric, which has so many domains. For Orym my first but not exclusive thoughts are War, Peace, and Grave, with some fun outliers being Fate, Moon, and maybe Tempest. (The Moon domain b/c of all the moon bs and also the Matron was probably Ruidusborn; Tempest I have no real explanation for I just think it’s neat.)

However, he could do both the Wildmother and the Matron. That is an option, many Exandrian people in history have been chosen by multiple gods as champions and otherwise. To add to it as a strong contender, it would be interesting and maybe add something new to the dynamic if he was serving two relatively aligned gods. Heck the Inevitable End is still kicking -probably- and Lolth and Asmodeus don’t even get along so well anymore (who knows how that’s going atm though). In general I think it would just be cool too, he can have 4 moms!

PS: that the Matron has come up for Orym has really surprised me, as the cast has avoided retreading previous paths but considering Orym’s everything I think he could be the first character whose player decides “yeah it fits too well, yelp. What could I do with it this time around?”

PPS: again, he could very well never explore it much further and not multiclasss. This is just some fun speculation. Or he could and just not this way, and I will most likely love every minute of it no matter what.

Clari I'm on the fence ... do you recommend love and deepspace? is the battle system hard or the gacha crazy (bad)? I keep seeing ads and clips here and there but FHDJSKAFHDJKSA TBH I WAS JUST GONNA SKIRT BYE BUT THEN I SAW THAT YOU LIKED IT and decided to do a double take. I'm so curious but LOL what if I get sucked in? However your taste has always been immaculate so im super curious about your opinion and experience with it so far!!

AH ANON! well, first and foremost, i love the hell out of it so far, so i’m going to preface this with saying that i’m most likely biased hehe

okay so!! it’s hard to talk too much about the gacha since the game has only just come out (and i’ve only been playing for 7 days!) but at this current moment they have a ton of events going on to celebrate launch so it’s fairly easy to earn items + materials from those. i don’t know how easy it’ll be in the future, but one thing i’m really loving is the fact that you can buy wishes (pulls) from the shop using in-game currency that is also (atm) easy to earn.

there’s actually a ton of stuff you can buy using in game currency, though this is slowly revealed to you as you unlock more and more currencies (there’s diamonds, heartsand, stardust, chocolates, oracle dice) and there’s only a few outfits locked away behind actual real life money.

they make it difficult to get sucked in, because chapters are locked behind specific levels. for example, for two days i was stuck waiting to unlock chapter 6, because i was level 41, and you have to be level 42 to unlock it. this is kind of the only gripe i have with the game at the moment, because earning exp to level up can only be done through daily tasks, and you always earn the same amount of exp every day—meaning the higher level you become, the longer you have to wait to reach the required level to unlock the next chapter. i’m hoping they’ll introduce more ways to earn exp soon!

other than that, i love it so much. i love all three love interests, i think the writing is fairly good for an otome game (it isn’t super cheesy or cringe) not only in dialogue but in story and all of the other reading material they provide you with (and it’s a LOT!). i love the world building as well, i think it’s quite well done!!! you learn a lot through diegetic sources, (news articles, notes, anecdotes, etc) which i think is super cool. i think the characters are distinct from one another (especially in their texting styles, which is another thing i found super cool; i love rafayel’s absolute lack of fucking punctuation) and well developed!! all of the material you can unlock with them using memories (the cards you pull for, basically) is super super cute, and there’s a ton of that, too. honestly, in terms of material, it’s a little overwhelming especially at first. but the game unlocks features slowly with you, and the tutorials give you a good grasp on everything!

i don't find the battle system difficult at all, especially if you play through all of the training they have, and it’s actually quite fun!!

honestly, i’d say give it a try before all of those events end and see if it’s something you’d be interested in!! at this current moment, you literally won’t be able to be sucked in after like, your first day playing, because the game will lock you out of the next chapter, like i said. it’s a good time to just feel it out and take it for a test-drive, so to speak!

Right I'm sposed to keep it a secret even from my mum but none of you guys know my dad so I can talk here yeah?

Readmore here cs there was more words than I thought I'd say, tw for drugs and idk I hesitate to say abuse but really I guess, in the past

So like a month or so ago he split up with his partner of like almost 20 years - which I am upset for her, obviously, but also happy for dad tbh cs she um she still drinks and and stuff where my dad has been sober for like almost 2 years now, and he's off his not-heroin meds I can't spell for um like maybe two months idk (he told me he stopped taking heroin the christmas I was 15, I think it was, and he's been reducing the meds slowly since he got like alcohol-sober) - so he doesn't want that sort of um in his life anymore, y'know, and they'd been growing apart and all that stuff idk what like that he says - tho she is very very upset and I totally understand why, and why my two eldest brothers/her two kids aren't talking to dad atm

Anyway, all of that

The bit I'm sposed to be keeping secret is that like a week later he's started seeing someone else

And is very happy and she doesn't drink and she's really lovely in every way - she's downstairs now, they're in the garage smoking but I haven't met her cs I've gone to bed - y'know y'know good fine she likes bungee jumping and they're doing a skydive together at some point idk

Anyway basically like

He's just done what he has always always done which

Well his relationship with my mum, the way she tells it, was mostly her (18-22, pretty freshly out of a cult and all that) moving away from him to stop him stealing her rent money to pay for drugs and putting his mobile contract in her name, and then him moving back in somehow

And then she finally fobbed him off when I was 4yo, and he spent weeks turning up and like begging her to take him back, and then one day said "we're getting married" and mum said "what the fuck are you talking about. I've told you no. I've told you no every day." And he's gone "oh not /you/" like that's obvious, "Sophie" who the fuck is Sophie? Literally never heard a word spoke of her or anything until that moment. And they were married for a bit, I do remember her pretty vaguely

And then idk how that's ended tbh cs I,, was like 5/6 and obviously not paying attention (reading books so I didn't have to watch dad do the tin foil thing and pass out on the sofa/my bed again, probably, if I was around for any of it and not just at home at mum's (mum didn't know about "the tin foil thing" til I was like 12-ish, big ish I can't remember)), and then pretty immediately he's got with my stepmum/the partner he's just now split with, which I think mostly only worked because they were both completely muntered the entire time and she wasn't with it enough to stop him or he was manipulative enough to stop her stopping him from putting his every bill and credit card in her name ("what's this new bill?" "oh yeah you told me I could last week, don't you remember?" "no? oh I spose" "don't you? god you are mental" actual verbatim when I lived with them when I was 16)

Anyway like now they're sober (or in her case a lot less drunk etc - which is admirable, she has got a hell of a lot better) he's gone, ah don't want that in my life, next

It is understandable that he wants to change his life, y'know, he doesn't want those influences any more, I get that - and I don't know what their like personal relationship was like, recently, because I (thankfully, tbh) don't live here and I've never talked to her much more than I needed to tbh she's,, a lot even when she's not drunk or whatever else - but it does seem. A bit unfair to say the very least. To her, y'know, for him to immediately be seeing someone else a week after they've split up - tho she doesn't yet know that

It just seems,, callous, to be so quick

And I've not met this new woman yet - I'm glad he likes her, but I hope she's not as easily um taken in and manipulated as his previous relationships have been

Mum's not, any longer - it took her 20 more years to get out of a differently-awful/manipulative relationship, but she's. She's really actually good now, and strong in herself, and living how she wants to (and shagging her neighbour from last summer in a fwb "definitely not a relationship and I hope he doesn't think I want that" kind of way, lmao congrats mum)

I don't know if dad leaving my stepmum won't just push her right back to more drinking and drugs again, I can't imagine she's coping well, really - she's got her sons, and friends about her, and nothing I say would be of any any use, even could I think of anything to say, and she wouldn't want to hear it anyway because she never liked me much either - but I hope that doesn't happen

first and foremost tho, before i get into your reading, i just wanna say that you shouldn’t give up. believe in yourself a bit more, even when it feels lonely at times. ESPECIALLY in a time like this. (i got some extra info from your cards like 15 mins later and for the sake of privacy i won’t say it explicitly. but i’ll send crazy good energy your way 👊🔥) i also would recommend that you don’t dwell on negative thoughts too much, esp from the past or from your surroundings, and to try out more…selective hearing. it’s a term id learned while studying graphology, but it’s essentially choosing you want to listen to and filter out who you don’t. you don’t need that extra negativity weighing out the only light that you hold left in your soul. also, don’t let other people make decisions for you!! half, if not all, of our dreams are crushed by other people, or maybe it was hard to have one in the first place. i’ve picked up a lot of stagnancy and pessimism on your side, a lot of overthinking the same things and maybe adding a few perks to them, the cycle of rumination, thinking about the lows and how ungreen the grass is when you should be just as happy as everyone else! why can’t you have that too? it’s a bit unfair, isn’t it? with your current energy atm, you’ll have to charge through. a simple job would do—it really doesn’t have to make all that much. there’s a focus on expectations here…and wanting more. but i want you to focus solely on what YOU want. whatever brings you satisfaction and reignites your fire is the one your highest self would push you towards. if you’re unhappy with your situation, what are you gonna do about it? this is for you: “is that all you can do?”

also there’s a scene in a barbie movie (idk if you’re familiar w it, but i’ll mention it)…i think it’s the princess charm school one(?) but Barbie’s name is Blair in the movie, and she says something like… “no one can make you feel inferior without your consent.” and that line sticks out to me so much bc it’s so true. that even applies to ourselves. the mind is a very dangerous thing, but we have to train it, learn its language, and let the negative energy go.

AND LASTLY, i have no doubts for your future tbh. it says you HAD everything you need, which is past tense, so either you’re feeling hopeless and lacking the spiritual will for it, or you’re missing ingredients to cook the stew. but something creative would also do you nicely! you could make a hobby out of it if you already don’t engage in anything…artful(?)

some more advice for you: let go of toxic beliefs, don’t sink into hopelessness, and you are not alone. set higher standards for yourself and those around you. extra: separation from a place, thing, or person gives you XP for growth points to the game of life! don’t give up because of some losses here and there. there’s nowhere to go but up from here! don’t reminisce on the bad.

i was like aw i wish knew someone getting married i want to make a wedding quilt and then i remembered my best friend is moving out for the first time this year so i get make a housewarming quilt instead. such joy!

Any advice for the people who are disappointed by S2 plotlines? I literally think the only redeeming factor of season 2 are jonathan and simone (amazing chemistry which I genuinely think will maybe be enough to make me ignore everything else) and the other cast members.😭😭😭 i also enjoyed a few moments. Im tryin the push it down your mouth until it becomes good method. I guess i loved the book too much. But I still cry every time i rewatch the ending thinking “HOW COULD THEY (The writers) DO THIS TO ME”. I got this advice from tumblr saying to think of it as an AU fanfic. Do u have any advice to give?

Hi! First of all, I'm really sorry. It's genuinely heart crushing when you love something so much and it's not the adaption you imagined. Especially when it goes as off course as S2 did.

I completely get what you mean-when I first finished it, and I binged straight it in a day, it wasn't happiness I was feeling. It was a weird mixture of shock and devastation, which began from the minute Anthony proposed to Edwina and I knew whatever I had hoped for was absolutely not going to happen and what was actually about to happen, but also happiness from K&A and internally (and externally) screaming as they did have a lot of incredible moments and Simone and Johnny could not have been more perfect. I loved them as K&A but I felt very let down by how they were treated as characters - particularly the dismissal of Kate's trauma and how they were both treated horrendously by their families.

Too much Fetheringtons and too little Bridgertons, and the Bridgertons were just so mean to each other at times? Compared to S1, it was a big shift.

There were things I loved though and I am really trying to focus on those elements of S2!

For advice, I've found a lot of comfort in fanfics. I would read pre-S2 fanfics to avoid any show content. Nothing really from S2 will be in them and there's so many wonderful fics on AO3-whether it's Canon, Canon Divergent or Modern AUs-with nothing to do with S2. I would recommend everything by these incredible writers- ironsidee, @yetanotheremptypage, @grantairesbottle, @wagamiller, @wall-e-nelson, @deadmunds-ghostbee, prncesslene, @jake-amy, red_rocks - I could read them forever.

If there's one comfort fic and S2 fixer to read, read a thousand cuts by @wall-e-nelson . It's the greatest fic you will ever read. It's phenomenal. It just explores every single inch of Anthony as a character and every nook and cranny of his relationship with Kate, his parents, his friends, his siblings-it's just beautiful, wonderful and absolutely heartbreaking in the best way possible. It's honestly a love story to TVWLM, to Anthony, to Kate and every single Bridgerton. A Hall of Fame fic until the very end.

Maybe a re-read of TVWLM? I haven't yet but I definitely plan to!

I think focusing on the wonderful content that has come from S2 and ignoring the parts you don’t like-the K&A edits, the Bridgerton edits, the gifs and the wonderful fics too!

S2 was an AU fanfic tbh. I'm very intrigued to how they're going to adapt the rest of the books as the Duke and I did keep the plot but TVWLM just didn't whatsoever. I hope they do but anything seems to be on the cards. The main couple for next season seems unclear atm from what they're saying but I hope they stick with Benophie. I hope they keep the essence and plot of AOFAG but I can see them integrating Sophie a lot more into the Bridgertons when she begins to work there which I wouldn't mind and also changing Benedict's behaviour as he was quite problematic in his book. I just hope they don't change everything again. Ben's storyline and ending and the Cowper screentime seems to be a Sophie nod, anyway.

I hope you find some joy in season 2 <3 and I hope this was somewhat helpful. Take care! <3

since whb's half anni has passed, i thought i'd do a progress check to reflect on how much has happened btwn now and this post

i say mostly cause i just recently broke the f2p status and bought bp for ppyong

i refuse to buy packs and in the future i'll prob be very selective over who i pick for bp (aka i wont buy every bp), so for the most part i'll just be having the f2p experience

this section is for me to look back on in the future when i do progress posts. i'll break down this section into multiple parts similar to my prev post for consistency

STORY

honestly, its interesting in concept. since sadly only 1 chapter has released btwn now and my last post so thoughts havent really drastically changed

ch5 imo wasnt really a full on hades chapter. yes, it takes place in hades and yes we get some intro abt hades, but i think this was supposed to act more like a bridge to tartaros, which is prob why we didnt have any h scenes w any hades chars aside from levi. ofc we'll get back to it being hades-focused eventually, but the story for a while is most likely gonna pivot to tartaros bc of that big lore drop abt mammon at the end

i assume we'll prob be introduced to the cherubs in tartaros bc of selaphiel txting us near the end + it being mentioned at the end that theres a hub of angels in the lab, and hopefully part 2 of mammon's h scene. it was strange at first for mammon to only have 1 h scene, compared to satan or levi that had 2, but w him implying theres probably gonna be a part 2 in his h scene + we'll most likely see him again in ch6 (or however many chapters tartaros will be played out), we'll prob experience part 2 in his home country. tbh that prob just me inhaling MASSIVE hopium since mammon isnt rlly that popular but i can dream ok-

i hope us being in tartaros doesnt last for just 1 chapter. you cant condense the experiments tartaros went through to create a clone of mammon only for them to fail + bring up the fact that the seed is prob also in tartaros in just 1 chapter. well— technically you can, but not at the pace chapters are at atm. chapters have roughly 15 parts of story on the main branch, and imo that much info abt tartaros cant be condensed into 1 chapter unless if they make the story bits like WAY longer than what they normally do

GAMEPLAY

tl;dr as an endgame player, its too easy 💀

working on the spreadsheet ever since the games 1st month of release and now just recently testing multiple team comps, the "meta" is so monkos HSHFJDJ

this game is INSANELY dependent on you having more than 1 dps/tank light card. light is also just an unstoppable element and i wish the game was balanced a bit more to let other elements shine

enemies are now way too easy to defeat. ik i prob shouldnt be complaining abt this but pls im a pgr and neural cloud player at heart I NEED SOME CHALLENGE

ch3 and ch4 were prob the most tedious and awful chapters, but at least they actually made me think when it comes to battles. now i just place down chars and let it play in the bg while i go do smth else. ofc this may just be bc i have a team that im comfortable w using everywhere, but id like to see at least a bit more "challenge" outside of holy coin portal

also, for weekly achievements, lvling artifacts is not a great requirement

i only pull when theres a new s rank or when mammon is moved to standard, so its very, VERY rare compared to avg users. having the artifact req is essentially forcing me to pull during those gaps just so i could fulfill a weekly req which sucks. i also dont need to lvl anymore artifacts in general for my team comp. lvl 15 is the bare minimum i need to get through all content w ease, anything after that is just a small boost tbh

on the note of daily/weekly requirements, there needs to be more of them

i mean in a sense of theres still gonna be 9 daily achievements, but you get more options on HOW you get to the 9 daily achievement req. most gachas that ive played always have more options than necessary to fulfill the overall requirement to get all rewards, so having this strict number w strict reqs is rlly not that great tbh

RESOURCES

thoughts from last time still havent rlly changed. pies and candies especially are still rng dependent which sucks, and now there gonna revamp pancakes while also keeping the old pancakes ???? theres way too many currencies (w some even having very little to no use) atp which can and will get overwhelming for new players

GACHA

i hate solomon seals. you can tell that red keys were supposed to be the main gacha currency if you ever look at old packs, but smth happened along the way and now we have seals

pity is also way too high for what we're earning atm. based off of f2p earnings, every week we get roughly 1 pull of red keys, maybe 2 pulls of yellow keys (red and yellow keys are more dependent on the key boxes which again, dependent on rng), and 1 pull of solomon seals. this doesnt include the stuff earned outside of dailies/weeklies, and i think there should be more ways to earn said currency through dailies/weeklies and not be so dependent on either paying or pulling chars

speaking of pity, i wish we had pity for both of the standard banners

i also wish theyd separate char and artifacts into their own banners. that way, if someone has a char but needs their sig, they can just pull in the artifact-only banner and try to get said sig

tl;dr in general i wish everything wasnt so strict and rng dependent, also wish numbers made sense like why do we get at least 5 red keys a week when 1 pull is 3, JUST GIVE ME 6 KEYS ATP

so yeah thats all for now lmao. im pretty sure i have a lot more to say abt this game but my minds at a blank atm, so ig thatll be saved for the next progress post which will be around 1st anni

So this is me trying to type out some of the thoughts I have regarding the current stunt around Harry.

I have the feeling a lot of us are still trying to make sense of what is going on, because so much about this situation just doesn’t seem to make any sense at all. People are definitely confused and irritated and it seems like no one has really been able to make sense of it all as of yet.

What I want to start with, because it’s what’s been the hardest for me to wrap my head around, is the wedding situation. Especially the pictures showing Harry happily officiating Jeff and his wife. I don’t want to really go into the fact that holding a wedding these days, especially in a city like LA where covid cases are running over the hospitals, is extremely ignorant, inconsiderate and basically a big fuck you to everyone who is struggling because of the virus for whatever reason that may be.

I think we all felt extremely disappointed in Harry for not only attending this wedding despite the pandemic, but also officiating it. This behaviour is quite frankly very hypocritical, especially considering he put out that stay at home shirt, yet has since then not at all been acting accordingly. We all thought he knew better and would do better than this and we have every right to be upset about it.

It also was really weird to see Harry so happy next to Jeff, when most of us had the feeling, especially over the last couple of month, that Harry isn’t doing very well atm. We’ve seen the acceptance speech videos, watched the jingle balls performance and how off, exhausted and unhappy he seemed. Tbh it was and still is really concerning. We therefore have been worried and suspecting that Jeff is miss-managing Harry, trying to create an idol and image out of Harry that he himself has said multiple times he doesn’t want to be. All Harry wants to do is make music and entertain people. But here is his team, pushing him down everyone’s throat and creating fake narratives to make him more interesting, to the point where people are already getting tired of him, because they are basically creating an image for him that is just not very likeable (e.g. queerbaiter & homewrecker).

People have been quite vocal over their dislike towards Jeff, while simultaneously another part of Harry’s fandom have been aggressively defending him, those that view Jeff as Harry’s best friend (which ironically are the same people that not only shit on the other 1d boys but also on Harry’s actual familiy).

So here we were all worried about Harry, believing he was unhappy with the situation he was in because of what his team and Jeff are turning him into (which has gone as far as articles being written about it) when suddenly those pictures of Harry officiating Jeff’s wedding drop, contradicting what we were thinking, while simultaneously proving what other fans believe, that they are in fact close friends.

So this was the part that confused me the most over this whole situation. Why would Harry so happily participate in this wedding and stunt when he seemed so unhappy and had every right to be so?

Here comes the part where I might be reaching, but the more information we got about this wedding, the more sketchy and sus it became. When I first hear people suggest this whole wedding was a stunt, I thought people were reaching, but the more I think about it the more realistic I think it is. Because:

1) why was there paparazzi if this was a private wedding?

2) why did Harry bring a +1 when this was a small private wedding that took place during a pandemic. There’s really no justification for her to have been there, especially when they just started dating

3) when did this wedding take place? This weekend? In November? Because there apparently haven’t been any events at that location due to covid

4) the wedding dress situation is sus. A dress from 2018 that was most likely second hand, whatever. But the fact that it was not fitted to her at all is just very suspicious

5) They might have been married for some time according to some articles

It looks like the paparazzi were there for Harry alone, both to show that he officiated the wedding (and prove the close friendship) and be used in order to announce the relationship. The paps were called there with an intention after all, and Olivia, even if she really was Harry’s gf, had absolutely no business being there given the current circumstances and restrictions. You just don’t bring +1 to a wedding at the moment, especially not if you only just started dating them.

All of this considered, I have the feeling this entire wedding might have been faked with the function to 1) show that Harry and Jeff are close friends and 2) to announce the relationship. Faking a wedding really isn’t that hard if you think about it, all you need is a location, some people in suits and robes, a couple and a photographer. I’d say the current situation makes it even easier because everything is smaller and toned down anyways. It also isn’t that unimaginable that they would pull shit like this. Jeffs dad is allegedly worse than Simon, and we all know what Simon did to Louis. What is faking one wedding that helps dealing with two issues at once compared to baby gate? Even if said wedding took place during a pandemic (this is where I think this whole thing may have actually taken place in November when the covid situation wasn’t as bad)..

Obviously, H&O is a PR stunt. It’s so painfully obvious in fact, it’s pretty much developed into a comedy show within less than 24 hours.

Now, the question that we are all still having is why? Why pair these two, when it puts both of them in such a bad light and certainly can’t be beneficial for their careers in any way, shape or form? Why did Olivia agree to this when this compromises her professionalism? Those seem to be the main questions that people are struggling to come to find a reasonable answer for. However, if one looks back at other Hollywood scandals, this seems to fit right in there, or isn’t even half as bad as some previous scandals or gossip. Think of the Jennifer, Brad and Angelina situation or the cheating scandal around Kristen Steward for example. It’s stories like this that are eaten up by the media and the general public (especially the American audience), because it’s juicy and scandalous and something to gossip about. But in the long run, it’s probably not as career damaging as we make it out to be, since people will get tired and move on to the next drama. It will taint their reputations yes, but also bring them a lot of attention and will most likely not be as ruinous to their careers as we think.

But what could be in it for Olivia? Promo for the movie, maybe because the interest from the go wasn’t big enough yet? She might have other projects coming up that she could need the attention for.. I don’t know but she will have her reasons.

As for Harry, I think we have to admit that he has been without a stunt for much longer than we could have hoped for.. He’s been in involved in narratives just as bad before, this only earns him one more bad title (homewrecker). This stunt however certainly helps in making him even more of a household name, which is exactly what his team has been going for. Thinking further ahead, Olivia might be who future songs of his could be claimed to be about. My hope for the reason of this stunt, as it is the hope of all of us, is that something is going to change about Louis’ stunt situation soon, that baby gate might really soon come to an end and that H&O serves to prevent Larry speculation to arise.

This leaves the question of how long this stunt is going to last. It by now seems like they really are going through with this stunt, so we might have to deal with this for a while (though part of me still hopes they will pull a they are just friends and he is being there for her after her break up card)...

2021 Writing/Creative Goals

IT’S STILL JANUARY I’M STILL GOOD TO DO THIS RIGHT good cause i am lmaooooo okay so i was tagged byyyyy @reminiscingintherain, @cupcakentea, @haztobegood, @so-why-let-your-voice-be-tamed, @bearmustard, @heriz, and oh i think that’s it, yay! okay so my goals for the year, creatively speaking....

finish one of my cardigans - like hot damn please let me finish one of them. hopefully the harry one. finish that and then i can get back to my eternal wip brown cardigan, which has finally gotten knitted up to the sleeve separation! i’m NEARING THE END OF THE BODY!

(does helping mod big bang count as a creative goal???)

play piano more - i finally found my sheet music that had been packed in boxes in the basement for 6 years in the fall, so i would love to get back into playing regularly again. i’m gonna say my first goal is just playing once a week, even if it’s just for fifteen minutes. gotta start somewhere!

bake more - i’ve been doing a bit better with this, but i still only bake like once every three or four months, and that’s just... not enough for me tbh haha i’m gonna try baking something that i wanna bake once a month

finish my big bang - this will defo happen haha but it’s one of those things where with the world as it is, i don’t get much time to myself to focus on shit and writing is hard to do when you can’t focus, so i’m only writing once a week guaranteed right now when i used to write almost every day, so... the finishing my big bang is kinda. a big ask atm.

write for @harryandmenfest - it’s gonna be garry! and that’s all i know right now but i’m EXCITED cause it’s a pairing that, as far as i know, still only has my previous fic with them as the main pairing, so a second fic for them will be fun hehe

write the girl payneshaw fic - I HAVE THE DAMN THING FIGURED OUT AND READY TO BE WRITTEN I JUST NEED TIIIIIIME

write my a!louis/b!greg/o!harry and a!niall/b!lewis/o!shawn fic - it’s gonna be crack-y and entirely kicking off thanks to greg’s deciding that since shawn texted him and called him they’re now best friends and asking him for advice and hair tips. niall and lewis both commented publicly about it on twitter, and dammit i just know what his mates, louis and harry, were thinking about his behavior at home. lololol

figure out and write a fic for the @1daboficfest - or should i do the aforementioned louis/greg/harry fic for that??? hmmmm.... hehe

run @wordplayfics again - that’s assuming people are interested haha survey coming in a couple months!

make my christmas cards in october - this way i can just make the post in november and write them out/address them as the requests come in! a novel idea, not sure why i didn’t think of it before?? lmaoooo

write my advent fic in october - basically october is gonna be my prepping for the holidays time so i’m ready for....

actually write my big bang fic during nanowrimo - i’ve been trying various things the past couple years and while it’s very helpful and good, i DO NOT LIKE THE STRESS OF NOT HAVING MY BIG BANG WRITTEN BEFORE ARTIST CLAIMS. i also do not like the stress of writing into february. i want my fic done and ready to hand over to the artist, unbetaed but you know, rough draft done, by the time collaborations are announced. so yeah. lol

just write what i wanna write when i wanna write it basically - but try really hard to get into writing on the days the kids are in school, even if it’s only for 30-60 minutes on those days. that way at least i’m writing 3-4 times a week, which will feel MUCH better than once.

so yeah. no word count goals or anything, cause there’s no way in hell i can predict that shit. and i don’t ever really set goals for number of fics. i just wanna keep on writing for me and enjoying myself, even if i only have like 5 readers for my rare pairs hahaha bless all of you who follow me there, btw.

11:28 PM As planned, I met up with 2 of my old coworkers/friends but before we went to the amusement park, we’ve gone to the mall first. Chai wanted to buy a SIM card for her back up internet since she’s working from home too, however, it’s not available for purchase atm so that sucks. We also had this monster ice cream that I kinda struggled to finish. Then, we finally headed to Anjo World. Another person joined in the last minute after her shift. She was still a former coworker but I haven’t seen her in years. Even though we only rode 3 of the rides since it’s kinda late already, it was still a good day and we really felt like being kids again. Only me and Chil tried their roller coaster and man, it was a blast! We were so nervous the whole time but I really screamed my lungs out to somehow battle it hahaha! I never thought I could scream like that tbh lol! I think it also helped to release some of the stress in my body, which is good. Chai and Norhen just rode the carousel and said it made them a bit dizzy. The second ride we did is the Ferris wheel. All four of us went in, at first it was okay but when we were at the top, Norhen complained why it was moving so slow lol! She was sweating like crazy even though the passenger cars were air-conditioned. Well I got a bit anxious too when I looked down, it was an experience for sure! Third ride was the bumper boats and man, we had the most fun there even though we got wet! I’d definitely wanna do that again someday! After all that, we got hungry obviously, however, the place we planned to have dinner to already closed for the day. It’s late when we left the park and due to this Covid shit, most establishments close down earlier than usual. But Chai really wanted to eat in an unli samgyupsal, luckily we found one that’s still open. Same restaurant we originally wanted to eat to but in a different branch. We enjoyed the food there very much! I’m happy everything went smoothly. Twas a great day over all!
