Oh uh Geronimo’s not exactly a detective (the actual mouse detective is Basil from The Great Mouse Detective).

He’s the editor-in-chief of the Rodent’s Gazette, the biggest newspaper of Mouse Island, and each and every one of the books is him basically being dragged out of his homeboi desk by people to get into shenanigans outside, and extra shenanigans ensue (usually in the form of a mystery G needs to solve). Sometimes the adventures bring him through hell and back, but perks of his job is he gets to make articles of his adventure on the Gazette when he gets home, or if not that then straight-up books (which are the Geronimo Stilton books that we read).

Something something man can’t catch a break something something Stilton fam has no chill something something sometimes he goes to this weird and wonderful Kingdom of Fantasy to help save the world something something Kornelius von Kickpaw x G because Kornelius treats that man right

His sister Thea Stilton also has a spin-off thing where she publishes the adventures of the Thea Sisters, five students in Mouseford Academy (mouse Oxford) whom she’s mentoring and we’re such huge fan girls they named their group after her. Their format’s a little different— the girls go traveling to different countries (usually for vacation), shenanigans of a possibly illegal kind happens (not always but it happens) and it’s up to them to Mystery Incorporated their way to finding the culprit in said shenanigans and resolve things. Then they go to Thea, tell her about the shnit that just went down and Thea publishes a book about it :D

Oh? An excuse to draw one of my newest hyperfixations in the main artstyle I’ve inexplicably shackled myself to because I like drawing these silly mouse people a little too much?

I hope this gives you uh your request haha, I didn’t really do it in the GS artstyle so much as I did it in uh my artstyle whenever I draw stuff relating to Geronimo Stilton, but I hope you like it ^^
