OKAY OKAY SO HERE’S SOME CONTEXT FOR YOU ALL PLEASE WAIT I CAN EXPLAIN

When I was a very VERY small child (I speculated kindergarten age but I can’t really be sure..might have been younger) my family would make a seasonal event out of watching animated Christmas movies on DVD or VHS (yes this was before streaming services became a prominent thing—everything was on physical media “back in my day” lol. It wasn’t even that long ago). And there was this really weird almost fever-dream Rudolph movie sequel film titled The Island of Misfit Toys with bad animation, a singing hippopotamus dentist (her song is actually really good tho 10/10), the abominable snowman in a bunny suit, and other story elements that I successfully whipped from my memory. HOWEVER there was this one character called The Toy Taker—I remember I was entranced with him for some reason?? One of my repressed childhood memories was of me pretending that my recorder instrument (my school required us to play one of those. I was terrible at it) was the same flute this Toy Taker guy used in the movie to lure toys away. I wanted to pretend to be him SO BADDLY. I don’t know if it was a crush or if it was simply my brain going “OH COOL DESIGN AND EVIL SONG NUMBER.” It’s so absurdly random?? Help??

I…..I don’t know what any of this means?? It just lives in my head as an odd memory haunting me everytime during the winter season. Please someone tell me does this mean I have a type /j
