when he was young he asked his mom why everyone had flowers that day and his mom explained valentine's day to him. when he realized his mom didn't have a valentine (because she was a single mother) he ran off when his mom wasn't looking and came back with a single rose ;-; (from this article about jun's childhood published from his child acting days, it's a good read with a bunch more obscure jun facts but this is my favorite story from it bc it feels like something out of a drama ;-;)

he learned to cook from his mom and grandma

he did martial arts as a kid bc he wanted to act in wuxia dramas

he also injured himself when doing martial arts at one point and developed spinal tuberculosis and had to get surgery

in highschool he was asked to join the modelling club but he declined

took a little while to answer this one because i had to dig up old art to see if it was finished and it wasn't LMAO

but yeah the thing on my mind atm is an old tabletop campaign i planned out and scrapped years ago but recently revived for a couple friends and one of the npcs is this guy!

more info under cut because i know ONE of my players follows me here and there are spoilers

so it's kind of dnd adjacent, in which there are dnd like races and stuff? so this npc is a merchant/tutorial area npc that's supposed to help the main characters out in the beginning areas, but because he's the traveling merchant type they'll also meet him throughout the journey.

he's, to put it simply, from a lost civilization that lives deep underground, but was sent up to the surface on a mission (the civilization is planning an invasion? although that motivation may change later if i get a better brain worm lol) and got stranded. he's not a teifling, but he pretends to be one and took on the name leisure in order to try to blend in since his race doesn't exist on the surface in any capacity.

back in his home, he serves directly under the royal family as a sort of servant. he is trying to return to his post both because he is very close to the prince and he wants to get home before he dies (short life span lol), but he can't do that without the pc's help because all of the gates and ruins aren't built in a way that he's able to open on his own.

his intended story arc is more or less to become friends with the pcs, and then to betray them once he returns to his prince's side. he'll be torn by it because he has connected to both the pcs and other npcs on the surface, but in the end the prince also does have some level of magical control over leisure and can make him betray them even if leisure himself does not want to.

anyway the last little self indulgent tidbit about him is that his sword doubles as a chainsaw, but like standard dnd pcs and npcs in this world do not know that chainsaws are a thing that exists, so hopefully that'll be a fun little surprise for my players LOL

oKAY SO my novel!!! it has been living in my head since i was thirteen and it has gone through so many drafts and beginnings over the years until last year i sat down and actually began writing it.

i've briefly spoken about it here and here also :) (that summary/pitch is a bit dated, still accurate tho!)

Forged of Stars and Bone (originally: Star Forged) is winding up to be 100k of wlw badasses, magic, flying cats, demons, dragons, huge glowing mushrooms, lesbian pirates, mermaids, found family, sacrifices, women with WEAPONS, eaten gods (and not), and finding oneself but also falling in love.

it starts with Hala, a runaway princess from the age eleven, who is one of the last Demon Summoner mages, and is still being hunted down by the king's Royal Guard because magic is forbidden in Anamel (one of the three kingdoms of the continent Arelia). Hala is in possession of a staff carved full of Demon Symbols so that she may call upon her beasties (aka: her family in every sense of the word. She hears their voices in her head all day, everyday LOL)

Then enter Keyara— the very last Demon Slayer mage with the unholy power of Fire— and Cegon— a very large pather with huge bat wings— who are the remaining of the hidden Demon Slayer population and have been hunting for those who destroyed their home for three years. (Keyara has a HUGE battle hammer that glows purple and is super fucking cool. Cegon is more of a pacifist and mother hen so no fighting for him)

Hala is twenty-four. Keyara and Cegon are twenty-six.

They meet by chance (or is it fate?) and end up saving each other from their own pursers. Then, ultimately they end up traveling together when Hala gets a message from her dear friend Tania, the Fae Queen of Nim (found on the continent Ackilenda) about an incoming threat and needs Hala's aid immediately.

There we meet not only Tania (one of my favorites because i just love her) but the Brothers Grim (!!!!!!!! I LOVE) who are very well known Generals of past wars and have made a name for themselves. Ajal is the leader, also known as the Defyer of Death ;). Col is our loveable tank of a man, Boarheart is his alias. Then Helyas is my Shadow Master and dry but witty-humored, skinny man. Each has their own named and very respected weapons.

(There is so much i can say about Tania + the Brothers Grim that i would need to make a new post LMAO so sorry for rambling)

There is so much world building and so many fun characters in this little project of mine and just!!! Self love and healing!!!! Most characters here are POC and queer. Tania is blind and I have a BAMF Fae General (Kaida) who is deaf, a transgender lesbian pirate (who is a runaway lord's child), many nonbinary characters also. Like!!!! It's honestly just super indulgent LOL

oh! Hala is demisexal while as Keyara is a raging bisexual :)

And the villain isn't your traditional one either, which i really really love. Spoilers! but basically our antagonist is a child who is being manipulated by one of my favorite Dark Demons (Thalgrokar) for timely revenge for something very important ;)))

Literally i could go on forever about this novel, i love talking about it and it's currently in its second draft! Though, i'm starting it from a totally different place than the first so it's giving me some real issues but!! I am so excited to dive into this world and characters again.

happy ffwf!! it's hard to pinpoint a fic that i'm "most proud" of, because i really am proud of different stories for different reasons. i do know that i've talked broken pieces still belong to death, lol, so im instead going to talk about a short mcu oneshot i wrote about a month ago! it's called you do what you can (until it's not enough), and it centers on betty and liz's relationship as portrayed in spider-man: homecoming, plus a lot of my own headcanons about their childhood friendship.

i ended up writing this fic because i wrote a section of You Will Be Found from betty's pov and absolutely loved her voice (no doubt because i was able to develop her character however i wanted, since the mcu probably never will, lmao). i am a sap for female friendships, especially underexplored ones, which is a category that has "betty&liz" written all over it. it's heartbreaking how they're implied to be good if not best friends throughout spider-man: homecoming, and then the movie ends on such a tragic note when liz has to move, but what is even more devastating is that we're given almost no insight into their own perspectives on this. what happened after peter stood liz up after homecoming? what happened when liz first learned she had to move? how did betty react? questions like that ultimately inspired this fic, hence the summary:

Betty frowns, glancing around them. The crowd of students is still growing as people arrive, but even from afar she can see MJ dancing with Cindy, Jason talking to Vihaan and Kenneth, and Flash walking in with some ticked off blonde at his side. Nowhere, however, can she see—

as you can tell from the summary, too, i wrote this oneshot in present tense, something i rarely do. it was a challenge but also felt very fitting for the story, because these girls are teens. they're kids. they're living in the moment and that moment at the end where they're separated is one of the worst of their lives, you know? i think present tense really helped emphasize that heartbreak (or so i hope, lmao).

like i said earlier, this fic is full of my own headcanons about both betty and liz as characters and their friendship. for one, betty's strong sense of organization and planning is absolutely a little reflective of myself, lol, but also because - as people in the comments noticed 🥰 - liz is captain of the acadec team! she's very intelligent and very responsible, and i think it makes sense her best friend would be organized, too. another headcanon i really enjoyed working in was just everything about how long they've known each other: their shared favorite color, the way they know each other's likes and dislikes (i love the little detail i included about betty always making sure she has liz's favorite cereal at her house, and how betty makes sure to buy pistachios for their ice cream sundaes because she knows they're liz's favorite), their matching striped pajamas, literally it was all a blast to include. i fully hope to write another fic in the future where these two ladies get the happy ending they deserve!!

from bangkok, thailand ! maybe it’s because of this he’s such a city boy and loves being around people, because that’s basically been his whole life ! in bangkok there were people around nearly all the time and now that he lives in seoul, it’s no different !

like his fc, he’s ethnically chinese but his nationality is thai ! honestly he feels more of a connection to his thai side because it’s the one he’s the most familiar with, though recently he’s been trying to connect with his chinese side. 

grew up around mainly girls, 3 older sisters and one younger ! his dad’s the only boy, but his parents are divorced. they still co-parented pretty functionally, though, so he mainly stayed with his mom and did weekly visits to his dad. he believes the heavy presence of females in his life is the reason he grew up to act a little more conventionally “feminine” and why he has such a high respect for women ! his sisters have always been .... v strong in comparison to him ojoijoijoij so it makes sense why !

his sister is the original dancer of the family, picking up ballet at only 5 years old ! she’s older than him so, wanting to follow in her shoes, he begged his parents to join as well !

his parents were v apprehensive at first, especially his dad, because they weren’t the most progressive and didn’t think a boy dancing ballet looed good. it took some convincing, but eventually they allowed him !

absolutely loved it, would come home dancing nearly every day. once they realized he was really enjoying himself and taking himself seriously he convinced them to add on tap and hip hop classes as well !

always been into american culture, he was always watching shows & listening to music from america, and that transferred into a general interest for the country ! so in high school, he studied abroad for a semester w / a host famiy !

this really helped his english skills and is the main reason he’s so fluent today, which definitely helps with his job ! it’s the reason he sounds less like a foreigner now when he’s speaking.

coincidentally, through america, he found an interest in korean culture ! his host family lived in california, which already was home to a lot of korean spots, but his host sibling was a kpop fan and got him into it ! so when he got back home to thailand he had gained an interest for it.

he started listening to a lot of the music, and at 17 made a very spontaneous decision to send in an audition tape to a company ! ( not noir, a smaller up-and-coming one probably ! )

he was .... incredibly shocked that he’d gotten in, but ecstatic for the chance to do what he loved ! not everyone was quite as ecstatic as him ... mainly his dad who thought his career choice was unfit for the one son of the family.

regardless, he packed up things and moved to korea, where he began to train to become an idol ! contrary to what he’d thought he kind of hated it lmao ! he had a super hard time trying to learn korean initially and didn’t deal too well with the stress of such a cutthroat environment. on top of that, he wasn’t favored by the company and they kept giving other trainees opportunities he didn’t have ! he didn’t like that because he felt he had the personality and drive, they just weren’t willing to take a chance on him. but he really loved the chance to perform alongside other passionate people and learn from them.

so it was a bittersweet moment when, at 18, he terminated his contract. he felt relieved with all that extra pressure off him e but was also sad to no longer be performing. he tried to lie and act like he didn’t to his family but eventually, they found out and his mom sent him back home to thailand. his dad was livid and promised that if he didn’t do something within 2 months to get a job he’d stop helping him out.

kwanchai wanted to keep dancing but still needed a job, so did the best thing he could think of ! a choreographer he’d met in seoul promised him a room in his house if he agreed to fly back to korea and start working as a sort of dance apprentice under him at a studio !

so, going back yet again, he agreed and made one of the best choices of his life ! he got a lot better and not only dance but teaching / choreographing it ! with this, he comfortably began to adjust to the country and learned a lot !

the more he was there, the more he realized how much he enjoyed choreographing ! his friend gave him the chance to begin creating dances from the studio and it was then he decided he wanted to do it as a career !

he didn’t want to feel like a burden at his friend’s for so long, so it was then he decided to apply for a job at noir as a choreographer, hoping to save up and buy his own place. he applied unsure if he’d really get it due to his short experience, but was ecstatic when he did !

the whole thing has proved to be one of the best choices of his life - he’s got a steady job that’s very fulfilling, he saved up enough for an apartment, and he gets to dance while maintaining the level of freedom he’d craved as a trainee !

personality / random tidbits !

his app summed it up well, he’s incredibly eccentric ! he’s just different in nearly every way and if told to do something one way, he’ll probably do it the other. 

his name is kwanchai, but ever since he was 17 he’s gone by kai, a shortened version of his full one ! it’s because it not only easier to pronounce for koreans but to his many american friends as well, and honestly it makes him feel less out of place as it’s a fairly universal name !

he’s super talkative, inherited from his sisters, but in turn is a very good listener ! so you’ll catch him either ranting about all his problems or listening to someone else doing the same.

naturally, he’s very fun and excitable ! rarely takes anything seriously, that is .... unless he’s dancing ! typically when teaching he likes to crack jokes and such to make the experience fun, but if it’s crunch-time he does a whole 180. when he has to he takes dancing very seriously, sometimes maybe even too much ! he may come off as controlling but in reality he’s just very passionate and a true perfectionist in terms of technique. 

speaking of dancing, seeing him do it is quite an amusing sight ! kind of like j-hope he’s always making noises when he does it, and always has some sort of noise or word that correlates with his dance move ! def the type to say “and jazz hands !!”

maybe it helps, maybe it sounds stupid ! but since he has such a horrible memory it does tend to help him out a lot.

his hair right now is dyed, and the best reference i can give you is the john’s banana video lmao !! he keeps it pretty short to keep it out his face when he dances, and tbh his hai is a different color all the time !

he has a food blog, “rate what i ate”, where he does food reviews for restaurants ! it’s really fun for him because he loves to eat and has a very strong opinion on nearly everything. muses feel free to come eat with him, he’ll never say no to a dining buddy !

aside from that he has general social media and an ig where he posts short dance covers ! thinking about starting a yt cover channel.

coffee is his everything. he’s got a horrible sleep schedule, staying up late and having to wake up early ! but coffee is the one thing that gets him through, and no matter what time of the day he can always be found with his favorite cup in his hand.

remember how his app said power poses ? well it’s something kai actually does ! every morning and before doing something important he stands in a power pose for 5 minutes, saying affirmations rather dramatically. that alongside his guided meditation obsession makes kai in the morning time quite the amusing sight.

he has a black bombay cat affectionately named luna ! she’s his daughter whom he loves very very much and would die for. a total sweetheart who will accept all love, muses feel free to pet !

even though he’s fairly happy somewhat out the spotlight, he still has the idol mentality, and definitely has the whole charming personality thing going on ! he’s a whole personality and it’s almost a sin he didn’t become a talkshow host, but i assume he’d have a small following because of it ! not dreamdrop level of course, but a little bit of recognition !

what's your favorite headcanon about akiridions?

not to toot my own horn, but symbiotic political bonding! it was born from my desire to have more arranged marriage aus, but i think that directly transplanting human traditions and cultural norms onto aliens that aren’t even biologically similar is boring, and thus i came up with bonding. i’ve talked about it a lot in private convos and it’s obviously the main plot device in warzone, but for those who aren’t familiar, here’s a little more in-depth info about it. bullet format because otherwise it’s going to be a fucking 15-page essay. these are obviously all headcanons because it’s Wild and there are definitely some Bad Implications that are a little too dark for canon.

bonding is a political concept which is much more common among nobility and royal families in the akiridion empire. the thing that it can most easily be compared to is marriage, but it’s actually a physical process that involves irreversible changes to an akiridion’s core

(oh yeah, i think akiridion is an empire and a-5 is just one of many planets with one of many ruling monarchs)

the core (no pun intended) principle is that through bonding, ultimate balance between parties that are at odds will be maintained through extreme compromise and self-sacrifice

this is done by literally changing the makeup of an akiridion’s core so that they can more easily transfer energy between themselves and the akiridion(s) they are bonded to

during energy exchange, the way that akiridions process information and emotions begins to synchronize, and the bonded parties become more similar to one another, essentially forming an entirely different personality out of the ones brought into the bond

different akiridions have different personalities, obviously, and varying levels of willpower

due to the fact that it’s a tool of compromise, the most common number of people in one bond is three, with four as a close second. this is to ensure that one member of the bond does not dominate the bond and throw it out of balance

energy transference can be done outside of bonds and is usually done through physical and emotional contact (most commonly sexual,) but bonding facilitates much more extreme transference that causes the personality and physical changes that you do not see in non-bonded contact

bonding is a very traditional sacred practice which has a lot of Rules™ that must be followed, with a big important one being that a bond must always be at least three akiridions

fialkov and coranda are a notable deviation from this since they are a two person bond, and they are largely considered to be selfish and irresponsible by other akiridion nobility for it

there’s a whole lot more to it and there are a lot of things that play into it because i’ve gone just really buck wild with my worldbuilding, but these are the basics.

and here’s a fun tidbit that’s going to sound like total gibberish lmao

for a bond to be considered for emperor, the bond must achieve complete physical symbiosis and be made up of at least 20,000 diations of mass (but 25,000+ is preferred,) which usually means that with your average akiridion being around ~3,000 diations the bond must include at least six akiridions to be considered eligible. the current emperor is about 30,000 diations and was once a nine person bond, but they are losing more and more diations every year.

rose isn’t too terribly interested in exploring many old!liv flashbacks, only because she thinks that old!liv was... well, boring LOL and we got the little taste of what she used to be like in 2x17. she’d rather be playing zombie!liv :)

i guess the d&d scene ended up being like a 16 hour work day, mainly because they all kept laughing during the takes HAHA. 

the panel moderator asked robert if playing the teenage girl brain was difficult and i was completely un-surprised when he said it was not hard at all LOL. i guess he kinda went for it when they first started shooting, assuming they’d tell him to bring it back down, and they ended up saying “yeah we think you can do even more with it”. bless.

this isn’t even show related but at one point when robert was walking back to his table he straight up smacked rahul on the ass and it was amazing HAHA

overall the con was seriously SO much fun, and this cast is so incredibly sweet and wonderful and THEY’RE ALL SO ENGAGING and take their time to talk to everyone (i seriously had like a 5 minute conversation with aly) and it just further reminded me why they’re my favorite people. i wish david had been able to be there as well!!!

   About the owner~

• First off, nice to meet you. If “immortalu-san” seems too strange, feel free to call me Alex, which is the form of my name I use to non-binary or male, and sometimes female.

• I’m into roleplay and all that (Add me on Pinterest at indecisiveyeet, Instagram at indecisive.immortal, and Minecraft - yes minecraft - at ItsLlamaPants) and I have several characters. Reiko is my most known one, and I’m really proud of her.

• I play Project DIVA and pokémon like a weeb lmao but I’m chill about talking about how far I’ve made it in those games  

• I’m learning Japanese

• My sexuality is Abrosexual, which is like gender-fluidity but for sexualities. My gender is biologically female, but I happen to be gender-fluid so it changed a lot. I’ve been in LGBTQ+ for about two years, but now I’m really expressing it.

• I happen to be somewhat anti-christian, but I know the hellenism religion (Greek Gods) somewhat well, since I do witchcraft and use those gods as deities.

• I had a nasty break up about a month or two ago, so I apologize if I get into venting about it. A lot of things went wrong.

• Sadly I had the habit of self-harm and I’m trying to avoid it, but I would actually like to help in any way I can to help other avoid it.
