Also if you work at said place, you should NOT have to pay to park there!
#at minimum it should be steeply discounted!#i don’t even drive yet this pisses me off to no end#the company i work for makes its employees pay for parking#they don’t make the doctors pay for parking of course because my god we can’t have that#but apparently it’s fine to make all the other equally important staff pay to park#their excuse is that if they didn’t charge all the employees then there wouldn’t be enough parking for patients#which is a weak ass excuse imo because they charge patients for parking too!#so that can only mean that the REAL reason is money#i mean if you’re going to refuse to provide free parking to employees then at least be honest about why dammit#if it was really about what was best for the patients then parking so be free for them to begin with#so my company can fuck off with that bs#the worst part is the company i work for is non profit yet it does shit like this#they crow about how great they are and how much we do for the community yet they’re obsessed with making sure we get our money#i hate working for non profits for this very reason#unfortunately most of the major health care companies are supposedly non profit#so these problems are pretty much everywhere no matter where they go
