for personal research purposes: where do you folks draw the line between a walk and a hike?
#because i dont know what these words mean#norwegian has one base word (tur)#which could be anything from a quick walk (luftetur) to a summit hike (topptur) to a drive (køyretur)#and so i use Walk for a regular tur#and use Hike as a replacement for 'fjelltur' which happens on a mountain and specifically - for our region -#a tur that takes you above the forest line#WORDS! what the fuck do they mean
