i literally can't decide of the shadowhunters tv show girlbossified isabelle or degirlbossified her. she was already very hashtag girlboss but i think what it comes down to is that they made her less #girl and more #boss so where does that leave us

#i think isabelle is definitely the character who changed the most to the books! i thought it was clary but it's her for sure #book isabelle is a lot more ditzy and rude than show isabelle she just says things #and show isabelle is far more independent and skilled than book isabelle #i feel like book isabelle is a bit more tropey and a bit less three dimensional esp in the first 3 books #which also has to do w the fact that she wasnt a narrator/main character in those books but still #however i think book isabelle got to be more genuinely flawed and in turn we get to see her overcome that #in a way we dont get to see show isabelle overcome any personal flaws bc she's already a very functional person #vic reads tmi
