OH MAN.. ngl these are a little hard for me to answer but that's mainly because I haven't really watched/played the media that Leon shows up in post-RE4/RE4R (though I will get to RE6!!! eventually!!!)

ANYWAYS

THE EMPEROR: I honestly can't really think of a good answer for this? At least based on what I remember from RE2R/RE4R. Because while yeah, Leon's definitely the type to say Quirky Cocky Shit™, he's not really the egotistical type. He might spout off quips in the middle of a fight but he's still going to take it 100% seriously - and before he became an agent at all, he didn't even say those sorts of things at all.

So honestly you could probably say the most egotistical he's ever been is when he's saying some shit like "Think you can swallow me whole, huh?" to some fucked up Abomination Against God™.

THE HEIROPHANT: Ultimately it depends on just who exactly he's trying to get to mediate with each other (and why they're against each other in the first place) but, assuming it was someone he had personal ties to (like Ada and Claire for example), he'd probably feel pretty conflicted and do his best to have them come to a reasonable compromise. Again, this all really depends on the 'who' and the 'why'.

THE LOVERS: Honestly, there's a couple of people who have definitely had a major influence on Leon's life. Claire, Ada, certainly Krauser considering the relationship they had during Operation Javier. But among them all I'd say Sherry stands out the most, and I'd argue she's a driving factor for why he became a US agent after RE2/RE2R.

To clarify; I don't think he necessarily saw her as a daughter? But he wanted to keep her safe, especially given just what exactly she'd gone through during the Raccoon City Incident. This would've become all the more prevalent after those games - Leon and Sherry were picked up by the US military. Sherry was placed into protective custody as a subject of research (since she had the G-Virus in a neutralized state in her blood), while Leon was interrogated and eventually coerced into joining STRATCOM, in exchange for being able to live as a (mostly) free man and Sherry's own safety.

I think honestly, if he didn't have his life on the line (considering that they were 100% going to kill him for knowing too much about what went down in Raccoon City) and if they didn't threaten Sherry with the implication of killing her for the sake of bioweapon research, he wouldn't have become an agent. He would've said some shit like "No thanks bro!" and Walked The Fuck Out. But Leon cared about Sherry!!! He wanted to give her a chance at a good life even if it was under the watchful eye of the government!! And I think honestly it kind of sort of gradually evolved into a sense of "I became an agent so that she won't have to go through what I went through again". If that makes sense??
