oh yeah that’s sims 3. each sims game is broken in its own extremely funny way and sims 3 just is so unoptimised it turns supercomputers into ovens

#That’s not even fully a joke game taxes even modern powerful computers bc it’s held together by duct tape#sos sims 2 but in a the game is just a mess way#people used to have arcane rituals to avoid corruption bc the game just is such a mess of bugs people made their own traditions over it#and like it’s bc some of the stuff was just borked#like the delete all characters cheat it literally just right click deletes all character files which does actually cause some issues#so people did medieval era science and assumed a ton of stuff did the same when it didn’t bc they found stuff that Did#and assumed everything similar would break shit when it didn’t#investigation revealed most of those were somehow caused by EVEN MORE BAFFLING GLITCHES#where the game would just generate a ton of nonexistent sim data for no reason#so it turns out it’s even more bizarre which is hilarious#deleting sims is nbd but if your save goes wrong you can end up with sims that are also pets#also the game still corrupts itself for fun#that is part of why people started those rituals#the game would just corrupt itself by having vampires bite me crumplebottom at one point#which did break shit really badly
