Landlord decided to raise rent by 40k forints I am so dead

Placed five 'finished' scenes (I had to clean up my Google Dicks files...so many stray scenes 🫠) in the final for 7/2 and it's about 20K words 💀. But there are nine scenes (I plan on placing the 6th today). If I stick to this average word count for the rest, the damn thing will be ~40K. And I don't think I want that 😭. That's fucking huge.

So what I'm thinking is that the end of this one might seem 'rushed'...maybe as rushed as the original. But we will see, since there are still a few scenes left to write. I'm holed up and away from everything so I can do so (the catsitting isn't as bad as last time, even though this shit might be for longer...this woman said she'll be there through Christmas (her poor cat!)...😡).

I found myself in need of an extra scene though to keep the narrative within my own story flowing. (A segue between scenes, especially since the N/C timeline is so murky.) It's perf since I wanted to write about the other character again before the end of this.

My dog def had a seizure and is still recovering from it, so that is another layer of my attention stripped away from this, so y'all gonna have to excuse its choppiness if there is any. My babies come first, always, whether it's the almost two-and-a-half-year-old (still can't believe she's that old, I got her at 8 weeks and a day 😭) or the 17-year-olds.

I think I definitely need to offer an accompanying map to where all of my story fits into N/Canon...mainly because I need a map for 7 and 8. The action and time constraints were not thought out well.

I'm not sure if I'll have this out by Christmas but miracles sometimes happen. 🫠🎄🥛🍪🎅🏼
