Well i'd like to knoe what do you think about my headcanon: Since Jack was an accident I really don't think John and Abigail were in a relationship before, i even feel like john wasn't really in love witj her until she lefts him in the epilogue. And i hc that he grow out to love her after all and it wasn't exactly love on his side ( icant say the same about abigail cause she constantly tells the members that she cares about him) otherwise it really dont make sense to me how he waited 8 years before proposing her and his interaction with sadie when she says something positive about abigail and john says 'so everyone keeps telling me' so kinda like he was forced or something to love her because of how much he owes him (she literally gave him a new life) and the gang members' force on him ( i hope you get what i'm saying eng isnt my first language so :( ) BTW REALLLYYY looking forward to john fic you were talking about keep up the good work <3

I partially agree with you ! While we know that Abigail always had a soft spot for John since her early days in the gang I feel like John started to actually fall in love with Abigail sometime around chapter 3 or 4, Jack’s kidnapping being a big factor for his newfound sense of duty for his family.

Before chapter 4 (and a small bit through chapter 5-6) the major factor for John’s lack (fear) of love for Abigail and Jack is his own self doubt. He grew up without a mother, his father wasn’t exactly the best father around and he died when John was eight. Aside from the weird fatherly dynamic that Hosea and Dutch had with John and Arthur, he didn’t have a father figure in his life. He doesn’t know the first thing about being a father (as he states in chapter 2, i believe) because essentially he didn’t have one.

So, rather than being a fucked up father to a child he wasn’t sure was his he ran away, thinking that was for the best interests of both him and Jack, in his own twisted way. But this is where it gets interesting, Abigail was an orphan too. She also didn’t have a father or mother figure in her life, yet she made sure Jack had one, that’s why she’s always nagging at John to just speak to Jack, because she knows the pain of not having a parent, of not having someone to call Pa.

I feel like John, throughout the whole story of rdr2 and even before the events that we see, always liked Abigail—maybe not as much as Abigail loved him but he did have a thing for her. Another interesting interaction is where in chapter 2 Bill and John are talking and John drunkly calls Abigail ‘my sweet’. When drunk we’re most likely to be more straightforward with our thoughts and emotions and John calling her ‘my sweet’ is a small glimpse of his true feelings for her. He cares for her, but he’s afraid. He doubts himself so much that he has blinded himself from what was really in front of him. That’s why almost everyone in the gang constantly reminds him of how lucky he is to have a girl such as Abigail by his side.

For the whole marriage situation i think it’s pretty much straightforward. We need to take account that they were the 1800s, during those times having a child before marriage was considered something to be ashamed of, a sin for christians so, those who had children before marriage often faked their marriage in order to not be scorned by society. Now, we know that John and Abigail didn’t exactly live in society, they were outlaws, but still they had a child and that bound them together. That’s why when John proposes to Abigail on the boat she tells him ‘but we’re already married’ through the eye of society and social norms they were married, still John wanted for Abigail a proper marriage, a proper new start for their lives.

And that could only have happened if he left his outlaw days for good, if he took revenge for Arthur, for the whole gang. That’s why we see John and Abigail officially wed after he kills Micah and ultimately takes his revenge.

Hot take, but everyone should be taught the symptoms and signs of a stroke. This should be a mandatory lesson in school.

Anyone could have a stroke, at any time, including you, the person reading this! If you were having a stroke wouldn't you want someone to be able to quickly identify it and get you help before it got really bad? Brain damage is fucking serious, and yet it's the butt of so many jokes and ehat most people know about it is the "burnt toast smell" which can be caused by many things.

So, as someone who has forced my mother to let me do her annual stroke test assessment to make sure she still knoes the stroke signs and everything, here are some things you can do to try and determine if someone is having a stroke. (Yes I passed the test everytime I did it and my mother would watch it with me)

Has their face drooped? Ask them to smile wide and if one or both sides of their face are drooping, they may be having a stroke. Call 911 or whatever emergency services

After this, ask them if you can touch their arms and legs to see if they can feel it. If they do not say yes or some affirmative DO NOT TOUCH THEM. Consent isn't just for sex, and this person is most likely going through a very traumatic sscenario. If they say yes, have them close their eyes and tell you which body part and or side you are touching them on. Let the 911 operator know your findings, and if they say no move on to the next step.

Test their speech. Have them say "I want my mother/mama" Can they say "a cactus is prickly"? If their speech is slurred then this is a sign of a stroke. Tell the 911 operator how severe the slurring is.

Have them try to raise their arms and legs. Let the operator know if they can or cannot raise any of their limbs, or if they have any difficulty.

Finally, ask them what year it is, what day it is, who's the president, where they are, etc. If they answer any of these questions wrong (especially if it seems like a really random answer) let the operator know.

Hopefully this helps someone. And please, for the love of fuck, treat stroke patients and survivors and people with brain damage like normal fucking people. Don't baby them and shit, and treat then like how you'd treat anyone else.

So ontop of recent events, i have hit a year since i broke up with my ex... he sexual harrassed me and my friends and abused me... thankfully it was long distance and we never met but i am afraid of ehat would have happened if we did...

Sometimes i want to name and shame him to speak out about how this man shouldn't be trusted in any community... but like he left. He left the community and the other discord server i shared with him he is never active in. But like i still want people to know.

And at the time i wasn't sure that was what was going on (unlike now where i have diagnosed BPD triats) when we were alone together in a call cause the others either left or where away from call he says this:

marx is a really attention seeking guy. thrives out of getting a rise from other people. pre super star though, i don't think he has any real friends despite being a common sight due to his tricksterisms and funny things. i don't think he's done this in canon really, but personally i like to make it so that marx used to work under dedede. you know. big castle, you think it has cool stuff, should give pretty good benefits to staff right? but then kirby's dream land happens and hes like Bro this Sucks and skedaddles. so yeah no meaningful relationships

i like the idea that marx is friendly with kirby pre kirby super star, but i don't think it's a relationship that can really be described as "friends" more than "staying on good terms and excitedly saying hi whenever you see each other, have a little small talk, and go separate ways." i mean, to kirby, they're friends. i don't think marx knows this when he asks kirby for help in milky way wishes, he's relying on kirby's helpful nature the trust is just kind of a bonus. as for why marx soul is like that i dont fucking know man these are random ass thoughts

as for marx and magolor's reconciliation i feel like it's really smooth at first while magolor recovers from an arduous warp or whatever but when magolor starts showing discomfort at the ... hobbies marx has there starts to be tension because marx starts feeling like magolor is ignoring him and doesn't want to associate (even if magolor does want to keep being friends). however they deal with that is still up in the air but it required a lot of arguing, magolor apology to the dream team, marx blowing his "presumed dead" cover just to cover for magolor on something, etc. stuff that shows both parties really value their friendship even after they've changed and paths diverged quite a bit. fyi their arguments are so fucking bombastic because they WERE so SIMILAR that any insults they toss at the other is a double edged sword, and evidences some kind of self loathing

for marx's relationship with kirby i honestly think they're chill. but ofc marx exasperates kirby at times.

Maybe I'm going chronological for one time, so I can sort my thoughts easier.

Yeah, Goldie's much mire active than I would've thought, too. But they did all those things to keep me alive and kind of save, since we still don't know who they are exactly working against. (I mean, we don't know who Goldie exactly is either, but you get my point)

Honestly, I am pretty sure the TSB timeline is continuing, at least if my theory that Goldie just set me back in an alternate timeline is true. In this case I feel sorry for TSB, though..Extremely sorry. He still was 'my' Jake back then, even though he acted weird in the end (maybe was manipulated by entities). I mean, if what he wrote was true he went with authorities. And in the end..this could've been his downfall.

And yeah, maybe I'm not exactly safe, but I just have to go back. If I go, and if I lose my job, I have some things to sort out. And Jake luckily agreed with me that clearing up my desk isn't the worst thing I can do before leaving. We're still thinking about a location, which I could luckily deside myself. Max agreed on that. Even though he still has some doubts. (I mean, of course...His cousin opened the door with bruises all over her face.) He did promise to not ask any questions until I feel ready, though. That gives myself and Jake some time to figure that out.

And also, Jake is right! We have three Jakes and three smart people. YUVON. And of course Goldie, like you said Yu :) And some information about the previous timeline. (And that was it with being chronological)

So yeah, like I said, Max and I'll go. And I also think we can be pretty certain now that the message came from Goldie not the MWAF (which is relieving). I saw the messages and they didn't make Jake the bad guy. I honestly just don't think I can quote them yet. (They're too good, but I probably start daydreaming if I do) But they talk about Jake being an important part of my life and my heart and Max protecting me when he cannot. My dear cousin jumped to conclusions when he saw my bruised face. About Max' phone...I'll probably throw it in a river or something if he brings it with him. I told him not to, also because of Jake (he's not only worried about the MWAF apparently...He didn't exactly say it out loud, but I think it's pretty obvious) but he loves this device.

And I emphasize with you about the being kidnapped thing, you'll manage it, I know it :) And if I need to jump dimensions and box some sense into your Crow-Crew xD

Hello Jake, it is a pleasure to meet you. I am not quite sure in which way Liska will handle giving you my message, but she promised me to not read it for now.

I don't know whether she told you before or not, but as far as I am concerned she realised I am not only worried about the MWAF chasing her.

With me breaking out of this stasis I am sure that my followers aren't that far behind. And I know you can't do anything from where you are, but cross checking way to protect her doesn't seem to bad to me. Especially since we are similar but still fairly different from each other. At least it seems like that from what I have read.

For my part, I recently improved and updated Nym-OS which allows me access to Liskas whereabouts. If Yuvon should read this, she knows and agrees to it.

Still I am yet stuck on one little detail: I am trying to help Nym-OS in counterattacking. So, even though I am sure you already knoe this yourself, Nym-OS gets the ability to access location of the people attacking Liskas phone. I am almost done with that, so we are able to see a bit easier if and where people are that could be a danger.

Do you have any other ideas for ways I could help? Or even improve what I am doing momentarily. I wouldn't normally ask this since I know and trust my skills, but I think that this is fairly different from a 'normal situation'.

I am glad it was Goldie who contacted Max. Yuvon's suggestion for an excuse seems a good one, as there are far less things to remember that way. You simply need to oversimplify everything.

I do not, unfortunately, entirely believe that Yuvon was joking when she made that comment, based on previous comments and her ongoing guilt. I can't understand sometimes why she feels the need to lie so much. It is difficult for me to read people, much less her.

I will speak to her eventually. Early tomorrow, perhaps, if nothing else rears its head. Yuvon looks tired, and I am also admittedly not at my peak. I sincerely hope she does not wake up as early as she does every single day. It may get somewhat taxing, what with the lack of coffee here.

That our pursuers may be freed from the stasis is a logical conclusion. Seeing as the last known location I had on them in my universe was approximately five hundred miles from Duskwood, they will likely be some of the first to free themselves from the stasis. I do not believe I need to warn you that time is of the essence.

It seems as if I am a small distance ahead of you in the development of countermeasures, perhaps because I have had more linear time to develop them. If you are where I think you are at in the development, you likely have or will soon hit a bug you cannot pin down that makes the pinpointing mechanism simply refuse to work at all. Presuming your and my version of NYM-0S are similar enough, the issue should lie in the public bool set in line 132 of the third part of the targeting script, the script that decides what constitutes a target; you have it defaulted to "false" where it should default to "true".

As for additional countermeasures: I was attempting to work on a rudimentary automated system of pattern detection when I was brought here. Essentially, its function would be such that it would be able to triangulate using the locator features already installed to find a rough estimate of where their headquarters might be. However, I have not found any way thus far to eliminate outliers, and as such the feature is currently next to useless. I am no longer able to work on the code, but perhaps you will have more luck than I did.

That is all I can think of for the moment on that subject. However, I have an odd theory on what may be part of the reason we vary so. If you have a moment to spare, please answer me this:

When I was very young, back when Mother was still around, she took me to a doctor for odd behaviors. This included not looking people in the eyes, but there was a list. I was given a diagnosis; if you had the same experience, you should likely know which one.

Did you have this experience? If so, please prove it by stating what the diagnosis was.

Do not worry if you do not know what I am talking about; I would rather you did not guess. Simply state that you don't know. It will confirm my theory.

For you post. I myself don't fucking care who and how much you love. It's just.. The shier amount of romantic love everywhere. It's like this really really popular song that everyone loves. And when you heard it for the first time you told them, no that's not my genre I do like music but I don't like this song. But instead of accepting that people ask you again and again, because everyone else loves this song so why don't you. And there might be other people who accept that you don't like it but they're still listening to the sing all the time, and they're randomly start singing it when you're with them. And this song is in every commercial and in every movie and whenever you enter a shop it's playing in the background and yes, you knoe that most people like it but sometimes it's just so frustrating. Because it's everywhere, all the time and you're constantly bombarded with this song that you don't like and you see people dancing singing and generally having fun but you can't join in because it's this song again. And if you did you wouldn't enjoy it. And because the song is everywhere you start asking yourself whether there is something wrong with you, why you can't like it like everyone else. And sometimes you just feel so bad for it and sometimes you're just jealous of everyone else. And then there are times when you're just so sick of it because maybe you're even feeling bad already about it because you just remembered it again and then there are people singing it and you run away from them but there are people singig and listening to it everywhere. So no, loving people in a romantic way and talking about it is definitely not aphobic but having it rubbed in your face constantly IS frustrating and I just want people to understand that. Because I understand that you love people like that and that you want to talk about it, all I want other people to do is to understand that I don't love people romantically and that I don't want to talk about romantic love and romantic relationships constantly. But sadly, that's the case right now.

Honestly thank you sending smth my way. I just wanted to make sure that ppl do know tho that love isn't only romantic. I do understand what you mean with the bombardment of romance, esp when songs and media tends to focus or move the plot around the romantic turmoil. It is perfectly okay to feel that way, frustrated and essentially annoyed. I know it's not the same thing but to me I can see it how there's ton of hetero rep (or atleast used to be) in media and it's annoying/frustrating.

I actually think seeing aro/ace spectrum in media would be a change I wouldn't mind seeing and others shouldn't mind seeing since we do see a lot of the romantic junk (more than I care for sometimes too haha)

Overall my main point is that everyone has a form of love or maybe a better word would be passion.

Whether it's self love or loving a cat or loving another person, I mostly see it as passion and it comes and can be given in different ways. In such ways like Sharing your fries with a pal is that not a form of love or talking about a tv series you enjoy or just idk doing your makeup in a way you like. Maybe I'm delusional and just find that doing things you are passionate about shows you have love in your heart
