Some of y'all really don't know the difference between gay spaces and queer spaces, and it shows.
#for anyone curious#a gay space is more likely in my experience to be very ridgid in its thinking and trying to be as palatable to oppressors as possible#where as queer spaces are heavy into activism and accepting of nonconformity and fluidity#ex: a gay man told me in highschool TO MY FACE that trans people shouldn't be allowed to use bathrooms that align with their gender#in a queer group this statement would have never been acceptable
