Agreed. More female characters with on screen avatars please. Better yet an ACTUAL canon girls school!
Big big reason why I started writing my fanfic series about female oc students with their own all girlsâ school a few years ago. Itâs cool to see othersâ desire to see more of this in the actual game. I basically live under a rock đ so maybe this has been talked about in the fandom more than I realized but back in 2021 when I made my first fic and first round of fem!OCs, I didnât see any discussions about it anywhere.
If Yana or whatever executive/designer actually commits to this idea in the future, that would be wild.
Am I the only one that always found it strange that thereâs not an established female counterpart to both NRC and RSA already? I understand why those schools are all-boys one from both a Japanese marketing standpoint and Yana just preferring to write about pretty boys over girls in general. Female mages like Miss Rosehearts and Epelâs grandmother had to attend school somewhere. Itâs not like another all-girlâs school would âinterfereâ for people who want to self insert and imagine themselves dating the NRC boys. They would be off in another place away from the main plot and would only pop up during special events like RSA or Nobel Bell. Even name dropping a school would be good enough.
I'm sure they exist, but it's not really strange they aren't mentioned.
As Anon said, it's not unreasonable to assume they exist in this world because we know there are women who use magic. Alas, as Anon also mentioned the focus of the story really doesn't land on female characters. I think it's kind of implied that Nobel Bell College is co-ed because of the size of the school and such, but I don't recall that being confirmed.
They could at least bring it up at some point. I'd love a mention to just confirm it. Maybe another mom or sister went to one? Come on TWST, you can afford to give us something. The fanworks can only do so much.
Thank you for your take.

Meant to Be
Someone liked this old post I reblogged from @writingforatwistedworld today and it brought this writing prompt back to my attention. This was such a cool idea, and since Veil has chosen not to write it, I thought Iâd visit the idea with my own spin.
Confusion was the only thought you were able to summon in your head. You remembered lights and sounds. Honking maybe? And now you were just barely conscious of lying on the ground with your head spinning. What exactly happened?
Your head feels like it is splitting but somehow voices are beginning to come though. âCoach, I think they are waking up!â a black-haired boy says as he kneels beside you, hovering over you protectively. Were you at school? You canât remember. Nor can you immediately place the boy who is so concerned about you. He is speaking to you but itâs too hard to focus. All you can do is notice the guilty look in his eyes and wonder what he did. Suddenly, he stops speaking and looks across your body towards the field beside you. You turn your head curiously and follow his gaze to see a red-haired boy running towards you at top speed. Something about this tickles your memory. You look again at the black-haired boy and notice a strange marking you hadnât been able to bring into focus before. It looked like a spade from a playing card. Then you looked back at the boy coming closer and closer to your location. Suddenly, you had it. It was impossible, yet you couldnât shake the feeling that youâd miraculously transported yourself into one of your favorite phone games; Twisted Wonderland.Â
As sort of a test, you hesitantly spoke, âDeuce?â The black-haired boy, Deuce, looks at you and you think him on the edge of tears. âThank Sevens!â he whispers as rubs your arm comfortingly. The red-haired boy slides the last distance to reach your side in an anxious kneel. âAce?â you confirm groggily. Ace looks at you with what you feel is fear in his eyes, and when he speaks, it is towards Deuce. âJust what were you thinking? You know the Prefect doesnât have magic!â Deuce looks away, it is certainly guilt on his face. âI didnât mean to throw it that hard.â Ace scowls at Deuce and shouts, âWell you did and see what a mess youâve made!â You force yourself to a sitting position and wave Ace down. âIâm fine, Iâm fine.â Then, still feeling a bit woozy, you amend, âWell, I think Iâm GOING to be fine.â
Ace looks at you with concern and says, âIâm taking you to the nurseâs office. Right now.â Deuce intervenes, âIâll do it. It was my fault for throwing that disk so hard.â Ace appears ready to retort angrily, so you wave them both away. âIâll go myself. Or you can both come with. Weâre all buddies here, right?â You watch them cautiously to confirm that this is the case. After all, you werenât pulled into a game every day. Who knows what might be different. Deuce answers you right away in a relieved affirmative while Ace only frowns mildly. âOk, but if you feel bad at all, Iâm carrying you. No complaints.â You give him a shaky smile and let them guide you to the nurseâs office.Â
Itâs a little embarrassing, but there is so much that you donât know about Night Raven College, that you end up claiming selective amnesia from the impact. Your professors appear suspicious, but no one can offer an alternative reason for why youâve forgotten so many simple things, like the layout of the school, while retaining such vivid memories of other experiences, like Riddleâs overbot incident. So ultimately, they accept this odd explanation from you and assign your friends Ace and Deuce to once again play your guide at NRC. The cast slowly re-introduce themselves to you. Some find it remarkable and others unbelievable. Idia finds it amusing, âKhee he he. This is just like the plot of the manga Ramen Shop Summer where the protagonist gets in an accident in gym and forgets their crush! But then they end up working together over the summer in a ramen shop, and Boom Badda Bing, romance!â Then he shyly adds, âMaybe youâll have your own summertime romance. All the tropes are right for it.â You chuckle with him but privately think, âIf only you knew.â
A few days later at lunch, you were sitting at a table and rubbing your bandaged head softly while eating the sad sandwich youâd been able to cobble together with the junk in the fridge back at Ramshackle when your friends slam a plate down on either side of you, âHere Prefect, eat this,â and âI got something special for you,â come out of their mouths at the same time. You look up at them surprised. Deuce looks at your hand on your head and adds in a soft voice, âI feel bad for what I did so I thought this would help make up for it.â Ace scoffs and interjects, âI know what the Prefect likes best. Donât worry about it and let them eat mine.â You look at Aceâs plate and somehow, he is right, he has gathered one of your favorites to eat. âActually, this looks pretty good.â Then you turn and reassure Deuce, âI appreciate the offer too, but you donât have to feel bad. I know it was an accident.â They both seem happy at the outcome, and you enjoy a nice lunch.
As you are leaving the lunchroom, you pass a floating tablet (Idia you know), and it surprisingly speaks to you. âItâs just like my manga,â Idia comments. You turn and look at the tablet quizzically and it prompts him to continue, âIf this was a story, that would be a flag event between the Male Lead and Second Male Lead for your affection.â You stumble over your reply, âBut..but it isnât a manga.â The unsettling, âKwee he he,â that emerges follows you all the way to your next special lesson.Â
You were used to thinking of special lessons as when Crowley randomly shows up to class and everyone suddenly finds the motivation to pay attention, but apparently, this was a Very Special Lesson that they wouldnât give the students any prior details on. The older students seemed to know what it was about as the first yearâs had gotten several secretive smiles and leading comments. Rook passes you right before you enter and remarks with an expression both sly and amused, âIt is a fine day for fate, is it not Prefect?â You look at him puzzled as he continues past you to class, and you shrug as you enter the room and sit beside your friends. Ace scowls and remarks, âTheyâve been doing that all day and itâs getting on my nerves.â Deuce is fidgeting more than usual, and you raise an eyebrow as thought to ask whatâs up. âWhat if itâs a test?â he asks nervously before flipping open a notebook. âA little late to study then,â Ace scoffs before looking at you out of the corner of his eye. âDonât worry, youâll be fine. Iâm sure it wonât be a test.â You smile at his gesture. Tests havenât been easy for you these past weeks as youâve not actually studied any of the curriculum for the classes.Â
When Crewel stomps into class and sets a crate of potions on the desk, it startles you out of your thoughts. You hear gasps from around the class and realize that most students seem to understand what is happening. It is only you in the dark. Then the Professor smiles slyly and declares, âItâs Matching Day.â An eruption of conversation spreads across the room and Professor Crewel, appearing as excited as the students, surprisingly allows it. âI canât believe its today!â and âI wonder if Iâll meet my pair!â reach your ears. You turn to Ace and find him looking at you with an expression you just canât place. You nod towards the Professor and ask, âYou know what this is about?â He looks at you startled, âYou donât know? Its Matching day?â When you shrug and continue to look at him with questions in your eyes he goes on. âYou know, the day you can take the potion to manifest your red string and try to find your Soulmate. Matching Day!âÂ
It hits you suddenly like a blow. âMy god,â you think, âThis isnât TWST at all. Idia was right, there are too many tropes in this story. Iâm in someoneâs Fanfic! This is a damn Soulmate AU story!â You werenât sure what to say, but luckily, Professor Crewel had decided heâs allowed the pups to misbehave enough and cracked his whip over his gloved hand, âSettle down you mutts. Good pups need to know how to behave properly if they are going to impress their mate!â Silence is quickly restored as the excited students obediently wait for the Professor to continue. âCome up when I call your name. I donât think I should have to explain, but just in case, let me remind you what you can expect. When you drink the potion, youâll feel a tug on your heart as your soul manifests your bond to your Soulmate. After that, youâll be able to see your red string in the general area of your pinky finger.â A groan comes from an over-excited student, âWe know, we know.âÂ
Crewel doesnât take the interruption well this time and cracks his whip again, âSTAY! Pups need to learn to take instruction before receiving a treat!â The student bashfully looks away and Crewel continues, âRemember to not get your hopes up. It is very rare to find your Soulmate the first day you take your potion.â This sobering comment seems to bring down the mood of the students. Crewel smiles more gently at the students heâs fondly guided, âBut be happy you are proud students of Night Raven College. Many mages find they have Soulmates who are also proficient in magic, so your chances of meeting your Soulmate while in school here are raised.â You turn to see how your friends are taking this news. Deuce is looking intently at his hands, as though he will find his courage in the focus. Ace is only looking at you, again with a look you just canât read.
âNow, come to the front of the room as I call your name,â Crewel instructs. It appears the students are being called alphabetically. You wonder when you might be called as you donât recall âYuuâ having a last name. You focus a long time, making sure you donât miss it but before your turn, your friend gets called. âDeuce Spade!â Crewel summons loudly. Deuce gulps beside you and stands suddenly. Then he holds his hand up as though trying to fire himself up and marches determinedly to claim his potion. He drinks it down and you wait with interest to see how Deuce would react. Youâd seen several others take the potion at this point, but this wasnât just some NPC, it was your friend. He concentrates nervously for several seconds before gasping and grabbing his chest. Then he looks down at his hand and makes a sound between a sigh and a laugh. âThere it is!â he says and looks out the door where the string must lead. Then he laughs again and looks toward where you and Ace sit with a smile and makes his âhonor studentâ pose. You give him a thumbs up and pat his back as he rejoins you.
You want to ask him what it was like but the next name, âAce Trappola!â breaks your concentration. You hadnât realized your other friend would get his turn so soon after. You turn to Ace and give him an encouraging smile. Ace looks deep into your eyes for a long moment before giving you a mischievous grin, âWish me luck, Prefect!â You give him an excited smile and some jazz hands to cheer him on and he goes happily to the front of the class. You watch as he takes the potion and waits in a quiet meditation before he makes a gasp and grasps at something that only he can see. Then he looks up and smiles over in your direction happily, âI knew it!â he laughs happily. He returns to his seat with a bounce in his step and you look at him eagerly. âWas it cool?â you ask. He smiles at you, âIt was the coolest thing ever.â You have a million questions that come to mind, but you ask none of them as Deuce taps you on the shoulder. You turn to look at him and he nervously tells you, âPrefect, itâs your turn.â
You look up at Professor Crewel who seems none too pleased to have you ignore his summons. Great. Somehow, youâd missed your turn being called and garnered his ire. You gulp and stand to answer his summons. When you grasp the potion, a question occurs to you and you ask, âWill this work for me?â Professor Crewel smiles at your worry, âNot to worry, Prefect, even people without magic have Soulmates.â It was more that you wondered if people from other worlds had Soulmates but you figured that wasnât a conversation to have right now. So, you smile at him as though satisfied with his response and drink the potion down.
At first it was nothing but bubbly in your stomach and then you felt giddy. Like a drunkenness that had nothing to do with alcohol which rose from your stomach to take hold of your whole body. Your heart beat faster and faster until you feel as alert as though you were running for your life. Then, it was gone. Mostly gone. A tiny tingle remained, and you followed the sensation down to see the bright red string wound around your pinky. It really worked.Â
You looked toward your friends, wanting to share the moment with them and felt the weight of Aceâs gaze. He was looking at you so intently it was startling. You couldnât break eye contact for a moment. Then you felt a small tug and looked down at your finger. The red string was tugging slightly, as though wanting you to follow it. You didnât have far to go. You raised your eyes and found Ace holding his red string in his hand and you knew it connected to your own. Well, that did make sense in a way.  If this was a TWST fanfic, your Soulmate had to be a member of the main case. And now you knew, it was Ace. You looked at Ace clutching the red string and thought that he held it like it was a lifeline, something he couldnât live with if he let go. Well, that was silly. You were right here. Perhaps it was due to the plot of the story, but you suddenly felt like you couldnât bear to see him worried like that.
You went to him and stood in front of him, âSo, you and me, huh?â He looked up at you and said in a chocked voice, âYeah, you and me.â A clapping sound comes from behind you and then all around. You are embarrassed to find that all your classmates are celebrating your union with Ace. âWhat a fine surprise,â Professor Crewel says with a smile. You donât know what to do but Ace has no such qualms. He grabs onto you and pulls you into a side hug with one arm will giving a V with his other hand. You bashfully wind your arm around him and repeat the gesture yourself. It seems like youâve really fallen into the perfect romance fantasy.
The transition from friend to significant other was jarring but anytime you felt unsure about your new ties to Ace, you had only to look at him to feel reassured. He was always holding the red string. It was cute in a way, as though he thought about you so often, he had to hold onto the string to remind himself you were there with him in spirit. You still felt safe seeing the string in his hand back then.
Why is Crowley always at the start of all your problems? On a late spring day, the headmaster summoned you to his office. You found it was never good news when he did this, and this time would prove no exception. âAh Prefect, how lovely to see you today,â he began carefully, as though sizing up how big a fuss you would kick up this time. You hummed at him in a noncommittal way. âIndeed,â he acknowledges your evasion and gets right into his secret business. âI was wondering what you planned to do over Summer Break.â You look at him deadpan, âNot do chores for you.â He huffs at you in pretend amusement, âAh HA ha. Uh-hem. That is to say, where do you plan to go while the campus is closed?â Now this was actually news to you. âWhat do you mean closed? Iâll just stay here like I did over Winter Break.â Crowley turns, unable to meet your eye, âAh-HA hem, its just that we do the annual fumigation over summer so we need all living residents to be off-campus.â Then much quieter, âThe insurance wouldnât allow itâŠI checked.â
You left the office not certain which was worse, that the headmaster actually considered leaving you in a poisoned campus over break or the fact that you suddenly had no where to go. You walked lost in thought, mechanically headed to lunch when you hit something solid, and a hush fell over the room. You felt a moment of worry until you looked up and into the quizzical face of Malleus and smiled. This might seem like a dangerous occurrence to the random students around you, but it was nothing alarming to you. âHi there Hornton,â you warmly greet your fae friend. He puts a finger to his chin and ponders to himself, âYou seem quite distracted today, Prefect. Is anything the matter?â Happy to have someone to discuss it with, you give him a run-down on your situation. âAnd so, I just have no idea where Iâm going to go!â you finish in a flurry. âHmm,â Malleus hums in consideration, âThat is a quandary. Iâd invite you to join me in Briar Valley but unfortunately Lilia has decided we are to take a, how do you call it, road trip this break.â You can practically hear the air quotes in his voice as he says, âroad trip.â
You give your friend a small understanding smile, âI get it. Iâm fine. I just need to figure this out. Iâll find what Iâm looking for, Iâm sure.â This seems to perk your friend up, âWhy yes, that might work.â Then he saunters to a nearby table and picks up a vile of liquid. You werenât sure if this was part of someoneâs lunch or classwork. Sometimes it was like that at magic school. As Malleus holds the vile, a green magic seeps from his fingers to engulf it and the liquid inside boils ominously. Then the magic fades and the boiling stops. He hands you the vile and instructs, âI will bestow a boon upon you. Pour this tincture upon a mirror and the knowledge you need will be summoned forth.â Great. This was even better than posting an ad online. You thank Malleus and give him a grateful smile.Â
That is when you feel an arm slip over your shoulder and Ace appears at your side, âSay Prefect, what is going on here?â You merely gesture as thought to say, âIâm talking to Malleus.â Ace gives your friend a look that is downright insolent and you mentally scoff that only your Ace would be so bold as to have such an attitude with Malleus Draconia. âThanks for your help,â you offer your friend to give him an easy way to end the conversation. Regardless of Malleusâs wishes, Ace jumps in and distracts you easily, âHey Prefect, I heard you canât stay over break this year.â Itâs a relief to talk it out with another person and you turn to tell your beau all about the chat in Crowleyâs office. By the time you pause to take a breath, Malleus has departed unnoticed. You grip the flask, resolving to thank him more earnestly later, and slip it in your pocket. Then you let Ace lead you away to your next class. He obliges you by listening to all your complaints and agreeing in all the right places. Not that it solved the issue at all, but it did make you feel better to have someone fully on your side to complain to.
After class, you automatically hold out your hand to walk with Ace to the alchemy lab, but he asks you to go on ahead instead. Itâs an unusual request but the mystery is cleared up before Professor Crewel arrives to begin your lesson. âHey Prefect, great news!â Ace shouts as he slips into the seat next to you, âI called my mom, and she says I can bring you home with me over break!â At first, all you feel is the pressure being lifted. Then comes the guilt. âAre you sure I wouldnât be intruding?â you ask nervously. âNah,â Ace assures you, âMom already knows about this.â Then he holds up his hand where he is gripping the red string, âSo it was easy to convince her.â Then he gives you a mischievous smile, âPlus my bro has been away since he graduated, and I think Mom is getting lonely. Wonât you come cheer up a poor lonely old woman, Prefect?â Ace says in mock sadness. You swat him, smiling and chide, âDonât talk about my future mother-in-law that way.â Then you both laugh.Â
Things seemed to finally be going smoothly, but of course, that couldnât last. The alchemy lesson had barely started when Headmaster Crowley arrives by bursting in through the skylight. He was just as extra in-person as he was in game. You chuckle to yourself as the rest of the class appears to become hyper-focused on the lesson. Then, right before leaving, Crowley stops in front of your caldron and remarks, âAh Prefect, will you stop by my office after your lesson?â Ace leans in as Crowley retreats and whispers, âWhat is that about?â You can only shake your head, âI have no idea. Want to come with and find out?â Ace gives the thread a stroke with his thumb, âOf course. I canât let a troublemaker like you out of my sight.â You laugh at his joke and pat his arm, thankful for his backup. You are sure you will need it.
When you and Ace arrive in the headmasterâs office, he looks up from his desk and lets out a squawk of surprise, âAh! Trappola, uh, I was not expecting you to be here as well.â You feel like youâve made the right choice in bringing him along. âSo, Headmaster, whatâs this business you have with me?â He looks away, avoiding your eye. âWell, that. So, you seeâŠit turns out that our contract for the fumigation this summer does not include covering important school property with protective sheets. Can you believe that! Ah-hem, anyway, Iâm going to have to ask you to stay until after the rest of the students have departed and cover the furniture in the classrooms before you go.â The response from your boyfriend is immediate, âNo.â You pull back a smile you feel forming on your lips, âWell, there you have it. I also have made plans for break, since you have so cruelly abandoned me.â You can see the gears in his head turning as he thinks over the situation.
âWell,â you comment over your shoulder as you shake out a sheet over a cauldron, âAt least he is paying us both to do this. Thanks for keeping me company.â Ace grins at you, âI canât abandon my darling Prefect to be all by their lonesome right before a family trip!â Then he sheepishly adds, âPlus I can use some extra pocket money to buy you a treat when we are back home.â A family trip. It had a nice sound to it. You hum as you continue covering cauldrons with the large tablecloths Crowely had supplied. âThere,â you say and clap your hands once for emphasis, âThat is the last one. AndâŠI think that is all the alchemy rooms.â Ace gets a thinking expression, âAhâŠso that leaves the elective rooms in the Seniorâs tower and the botanical gardens.â You shrug, âWanna split them?â Ace nods and you agree to cover the worktables in the botanical gardens while Ace climbs the tower to handle the seniorâs classrooms.Â
There are far fewer tables in the botanical gardens, so while it was a hike to get there, you finished fairly quickly. When you add that to the fact that the mirror chamber was nearby, it didnât surprise you that you arrived ahead of Ace. Your small bag of clothes sat in the corner, ready to be taken through the mirror to the Queendom of Roses with Ace. Until then, you had nothing to do here. You circle the room, looking into the various mysterious mirrors. Make a few faces and poses to pass time. It was so boring. You turn out your pockets, just looking for something to occupy your time and find two items inside. One is the vial Malleus had given you to help you find a place for Summer Break. The other was a candy wrapper. You frown as you look at it. This wrapper was left over from a candy you had on you when you arrived in Twisted Wonderland; one of the last ties to your old world that remained. You havenât thought about the old world for a while now. Not since before youâd found your Soulmate. Now, a feeling of melancholy washes over you. Why had you stopped looking for a way home? You didnât even remember consciously giving up on that dream.
You hold the vial and consider it carefully. What exactly had Malleus said this did? Something about helping you find what you needed when you poured it on a mirror? Well, there were plenty of mirrors available and you had time to kill. Maybe, if you poured the potion, it would give you a clue on how you could return home someday. You walked to the nearest mirror and uncorked the bottle. The liquid flowed slowly out of the container as though it was molasses. When it touched the mirror, it seemed to slip inside until a glossy shimmer coated the surface. It rippled and you were aware that there were words to be seen inside. You leaned closer and read the message. Then you read it again. And again. By the fourth time, you were shaking so badly you could no longer read it. It wasnât a way to get home. It was the summary of the fanfiction you were in.Â

The Chain That Binds
When the Prefect of Ramshackle dorm is invited home with their Soulmate to visit the family, they never suspect the plan Ace has in store for them. Sometimes the chain that binds you to a partner also binds you to a darker fate.Â

Just what kind of sick story was this?Â
A click sounds behind you as the door closes. Never had you heard a sound so ominous. âSomething wrong, Prefect?â Ace says carefully. You notice he is gripping the string of fate tightly. It no longer felt comforting but more like the hold a master would have on a dogâs leash. âYou seem kind of agitated.â You try to downplay it, âOh no, its nothing.â He tilts his head, attempting to see past you and into the mirror. You sidestep to make sure the view was blocked. He gives you a cold smile, âAre you sure because I can feel your fear through the bond.â You meet his eye for a moment and then bolt. Ace is so much faster than you that you never had a real chance. You scream out for help and Ace laughs and shouts with you, âHelp! Help!â You look at him in horror. âWho do you think is left here to hear you, Prefect? Its only us now.â Then he pulls out his magic pen and casts a binding spell on you.Â
You can only lay limply as Ace steps over to the mirror and reads what is inside. âHmm,â He finally says, âI donât know where you get these ideas from, but I donât think they are healthy for you. You should stop consorting with people who put these things into your mind. Iâll talk to my mom when we get home. Iâm sure she wouldnât mind if you stayed there instead of coming back to school. That will take care of all these intrusive thoughts you have.â His grip on the red string was so tight that you were beginning to feel it like a phantom pain in your heart. âDonât worry about a thing, Prefect. Iâm going to take care of you. I know what you need,â then he turns and looks coldly into your eyes, âyou were made just for me after all. Youâre supposed to be mine alone.â
Then as you struggle against your bonds, he lifts you up over his shoulder and drags you and your belongings to the central mirror. He gives the mirror the destination as you take one final look at the place youâd considered your second home. Then Ace carries you over the threshold of the mirror into the beyond. Unfortunately for you, this wasnât the ending. Your story was just beginning.Â

Since this discussion has been going around recently and has revealed a fair few instances of transphobia in this fandom that I wanted to my point clear: I despise the trope that "everyone finds our Yuu is a girl" because a lot of people who are writing it unintentionally embed their work with transphobia.
And while I know I do not have enough followers for this to actually make a change, I want to explain what I mean so maybe someone will think about how they write this trope.
More often then not, this idea that Yuu is a girl is inherently attached to them being cis with this revelation occurring through them either menstruating or people realizing they have boobs (yes I've seen this one a fair few times) instead of the fact that Yuu just identifies as a girl.
Ignoring my other views on this trope, assigning girlhood or proving Yuu is a girl by claiming their sex or aspects of their sex is what defines that is a problem and a big one. Not all afab people are women nor do they identify as such. Someone being able to menstruate, have boobs, or even have a vagina does not make them a woman no matter what. Similarly someone being amab does not make them a man or mean they must identify as one.
By putting this idea up that Yuu is a girl and that her proof being a girl is her being afab or her menstruating, two things occur. For the menstruation as proof of girlhood, this unintentionally attaches menstruation to girlhood or as proof you are a girl which as explained above borders closer on transphobia than people realize. This also implies there are no other afab people at NRC aka no trans men or nonbinary people who would need the same products, and I only mention this because there are a few instances in these stories where period products are unable to be found in the nurses office because "NRC is a boys school" which isn't this gotcha people think it is.
2) I cannot say this enough but attaching boobs or having a vagina as what makes you a women is not only transphobic but borders on misogyny in ways that we need to talk about. Your sex does not always define your gender.
As we get to the end of this discussion, I want to be clear in saying that I don't think the people writing these are transphobic. I honestly believe a lot of people are writing it this way because they are cis and have never had to or thought to separate their gender from their sex. As a result of never having to question it, I think they do not realize they are writing it this way.
Additionally, I am not saying your Yuu has to be gender neutral or can't be a cis women. Do what you want: your ocs are not my ocs and I have no control over them. What I am saying is that if you are making x readers which are intended to include as much of your audience as possible, please think of your trans and nonbinary readers. I am not saying that you can't have Yuu go through menstruation or write a one shot about it. You can! Hell, I can give recommendations for those.
All I am asking for is that if you are going to write a piece that uses the "everyone finds out Yuu is a girl" trope then please take my advice and look it over and consider if any of this stuff is unintentionally transphobic. Not quite an X Reader request, but a fun little prompt: In the place of Yuu is a TWST version of Little Ghost from Hollow Knight. Everyone thinks the kid's some random five year old fae that got swiped up by accident and is mostly babysat by the staff, but that doesn't stop some students from trying to bully the baby.
However, the baby in question is very good at hiding knives on their person and is secretly a master swordsman, and one day stabs a bully in the leg for shoving them, right in front of the bully's dorm leader.
Question: How do the dorm leaders react in this situation?
Okay uhh... I haven't written anything for a long time I know, but this I feel like I absolutely HAVE to do. Hopefully Silksong comes soon...right?
« Little Ghost gets into a Little Fight⹠in Twisted Wonderland »
[TWST x Hollow Knight, Platonic affection, Ghost is slightly taller than Grim, not an x reader, the bullies are from each respective dorm (like Riddle's bullies are from Heartslabyul, etc.)]
So this whole conundrum started when Little Ghost found their favorite dorm leader in the halls in between classes. In their little scurry to reach them, they had to bypass a couple other students who were also in the hallway. One such student, with their small group of friends, intended to punt them and disguise it as a mere "shove."
"Better watch where you're going, shorty- us tall people can't see you from all the way up here when- OW! God damn it, what the hell?"
Little Ghost hides away their sharpened nail within the cover of their cloak, as if it was never there to begin with. They look up to the bully, pure malice filling the void of its blank, unblinking eyes. The bully's friends decide it was probably best to take the bully to the nurse and apologize on their behalf because, just look at his leg, it's bleeding! And, oh god, how big is that hole in his foot? What even is this weird shadow stuff? Best to just apologize and get out of there while they still could...
~Riddle~
Riddle witnesses the whole thing from the very moment that the Little Ghost saw him to begin with. Yet, the bullies left so quick that he didn't get a chance to collar them for their blatant disregard for the lives of innocent creatures. And almost immediately after the bullies left, the knight headed straight towards Riddle.
He was angry at first, at how the bullies so flagrantly disobeyed Rule #75: Never kick any creature with your left foot on Thursdays. But rather, he ended up feeling more concerned over the safety of the knight than anything else.
He took a moment to make sure the knight was feeling okay before going off into great detail about how it's against school policy to carry and conceal any weapon that isn't a wand on campus. Granted, he momentarily stops himself mid-sentence during his rant about this, since technically Little Ghost isn't even a student at NRC, so perhaps those rules don't apply to them? Hmm... An interesting counterargument indeed...
Ghost merely stares blankly back with little reaction to the scolding from Riddle. He sighs and decides to say nothing else about the knight's hidden weapons because, ultimately, Riddle is just happy that he won't have to worry so much about the little guy getting hurt with the knowledge that they can protect themselves if they need to.
"Well," Riddle supposes, "I guess I can let it go just this once. But just make sure that you don't go around stirring up even more trouble. Just let me know if anyone else decides to bother you, and I shall make sure to deal with them properly. Still, I need to go make sure those other ruffians don't make the same mistake twice about breaking the Queen's rules."
Riddle leans down a bit and pats the top of the knight's head with endearment in his eyes before walking away towards the nurse's office, an obvious glare of anger in his stride as he walked.
And the Little Ghost, left all alone in the hallway, looks down to their little hand, holding onto their precious charm: Fury of the Fallen.
Ah, another time then... they think.
~Leona~
Leona catches the whole thing and laughs about it as he watches the bullies scurry away in fear. He'd be dead before he admits it out loud, but Leona was actually just about to step in for the Little Ghost. True, he was pretending that he didn't see them as they were trying to approach him in the hallway, but he's always trying to look out for Little Ghost, whether on purpose or not.
Anyway, his laugh was more like a snide snicker, filled with mocking amusement. It was almost ironic how those beastmen could be so frightened by such a small little mouse, and hearing them squeal like babies was almost like music to his ears.
Leona smiles wider when Ghost finally approaches him after the incident, and he dips down to give them a little pat on the head.
"Nice job there, runt. That's what they get for messing with the wrong pack."
However, Leona's caught by surprise when the Ghost takes his hand from their head and places something in it. It felt cold- metallic maybe?- in his hand, and he takes a look at the gift Ghost had given to him. A... brooch? Ehh... The thought is nice but he's not exactly a jewelry kinda guy, you know?
Oh wait, and there's a note on it too.
'Mark of Pride. To my favorite pack leader.'
The next day, almost all of the Savanaclaw residents took notice of the new brooch their leader started wearing around.
~Azul~
Well, those bullies did have it coming to them, to be fair. Azul is in equal parts surprised and not surprised at those turn of events. On one hand, he's not surprised that Ghost had a little something up their sleeves on how to protect themselves, but on the other hand, he just didn't expect it to be...that.
Like, you'd think that you wouldn't be able to do a lot of damage with just a comically sized nail, but apparently, it was enough to scare even Octavinelle students away. And what was with that shadow magic? He's never seen anyone use anything remotely similar- not even cosmic magic came close to what the Ghost wielded in tandem with their nail just now.
My, he's just reminded of how the land has so many things to learn and many more to gain from. Azul approaches Ghost after the bullies leave with a smile on his face. Whether the smile is from his eagerness for a new deal, his relief that Ghost is safe, or even a combination of the two- not even Azul knows.
"That was spectacular, Little Ghost! You really showed them what's what!"
And Ghost just looks back up at him with his eyes, devoid of any sort of emotion. Most people have become quite frightened of Ghost by now, and it feels like Azul is the only person who ever looks them directly in the eyes. After all, after spending basically your entire life at the bottom of the ocean, peering into the darkness is nothing new for someone like Azul.
For this reason, while Azul was talking his mouth off at the prospect of learning about Ghost's void magic, Ghost reaches into their cloak and pulls out a charm, picked out specifically for Azul.
Ghost stands on their toes and stretches out their arms to offer their one and only charm of Unbreakable Greed to Azul, and he receives it gracefully with a polite thank you and a semi-surprised expression.
"It's remarkably shiny. Beautiful even. Thank you, Ghost." Ghost quickly finds a pen and paper to write on for a quick note to Azul before he starts getting any ideas.
'Don't sell this one. It's supposed to bring you more money.'
~Kalim~
He was too carried away in talking off Jamil's ears, so much so that he never even noticed the kerfuffle until the bullies started making a fuss.
"NO! GHOST, STOP IT. That's mean!" He scolds ghost as if they were a cat, and he didn't even realize that it was out of self defense. He picks up ghost and cuddles him close to his chest and tries to apologize to the bully for the inconvenience.
Meanwhile, the bully just screams out about how the ghost is a devil in disguise- a monster. Kalim doesn't believe them as the ghost just looks back up to him with (seemingly) innocent doe eyes.
"Well if you were being mean like that to them then its no wonder why they hurt you!" And by that point, the bullies had already started to run off, frightened of getting on the wrong side of an Al-Asim as well as...whatever Ghost is- monster or devil.
"You didn't get hurt did you, little guy?" Kalim asks worriedly, and Ghost merely shakes his head no. With a sigh of relief, Kalim smiles and continues walking through the hallway with Ghost still in tow within his arms.
This was probably the most perfect time for Ghost to offer their gift to him, so from their pocket they take out their Hiveblood charm.
And Jamil has to stop Kalim from crying on the spot when the Ghost attaches the charm onto his cardigan. Ghost doesn't even need to explain what it does- Kalim will probably wear it every day anyway.
~Vil~
Vil sees what happens and also laughs for a second as he watched the bullies run away from the scene. Though, he was a bit disappointed, in a way. Those bullies were the ones who started it, and yet they didn't even have the courage to finish it? Not only that, but they didn't even look the least bit graceful in their bullying tactics. How shameful. He ought to scold them for bringing such disgusting habits into the Pomefiore lifestyle.
But, Vil decided, they were very much beyond his recognition right now. As Housewarden, he can probably set them up with a punishment befitting their actions later, but right now, Vil notices the Little Ghost approaching him with a sort of glee in their steps.
"Hello there, Little Ghost. You weren't hurt, I hope?" And Ghost shakes their head no before reaching into their pocket to pull something out from under their cloak.
Immediately, the hallway fills up with a strong stench in the air that seemingly came from nowhere. But, Vil knew better. After all, he can practically see the fumes radiating off of whatever the Ghost had in their hand. What confused him though, was why it only started smelling when the Ghost took it out from their cloak if they had it this whole time...
The Ghost reaches out their hand to offer their Defender's Crest to Vil, but he looks at it in disgust and pinches his nose so he wouldn't have to smell it. (Alas, this tactic did not help whatsoever, as now he was forced to almost taste the smell as the fumes visibly wafted into his face.) Still, he tried his best to decline the offer as politely as he could... In classic Vil fashion, of course.
"If you plan on giving me that, then forget about it and keep it for yourself. It's disguising and revolting. I'd probably catch 10 different diseases if I so much as touch that thing." Reminder, this was Vil trying to politely refuse the gift.
He almost felt bad about what he said once he sees the way that the Ghost lowers their arms and looks down sadly. Keyword: almost. While their eyes held nothing but emptiness, you could almost feel the small amount of sadness coming from them as they took a moment to think. To be honest, Vil was mere seconds away from reaching for his handkerchief to begrudgingly accept this...lovely gift before the Ghost puts it back into their cloak and pulls out something else instead. It was their charm of Deep Focus, and the beautiful purple gemstones on it shimmered gloriously under the lights in the hallway.
"That's much better," Vil smiles in acceptance and graciously takes the new gift, "And rather beautiful too. Thank you, Ghost."
Ghost was at least happy that Vil liked this one since it was pretty. To be honest though, they were still pretty hurt that Vil would call it disguisting... Ghost can't smell anything, so how were they supposed to know that Vil wouldn't like it?
At least, now it means that they can keep their memento from one of their best friends from their own world.
'I won't ever forget you, Dung Defender. Not even if I lose your Crest.'
~Idia~
Please don't blame him for not stepping in. He doesn't do too well with fights- or just drawing any sort of attention to himself. But! At least when the squabble was over, Idia stood in place and waited for the knight to come to him like they initially wanted. Usually, once Idia sees someone- anyone, really, with the exception of his brother- approaching him, he'll take any sort of excuse to get out of there to avoid confrontation.
Lucky for him, the Little Ghost can't speak. Or perhaps, they choose not to. Either way, it makes it a lot easier for Idia to hang out with the Ghost when he knows he's not going to be expected to answer any random questioning or have to actively participate in conversation.
It's gotten to the point where Idia and Ghost can communicate with each other without making any sort of sounds at all. It's kinda creepy to the other students at the college though... I mean, how can you tell what Little Ghost is thinking when they've never spoken, when their mask is immovable, and when their eyes hold nothing but empty void in them?
Ortho would just tell those people off for him though, because it's in those eyes of theirs that they can understand each other so clearly. Can't you see how much expression Ghost has? Just look at those eyes! [Its complete and utter darkness.] But...to be honest... Ortho doesn't understand it either. Idia supposes he might need to improve Ortho's emotional reading modules...
Going back on topic, Ghost approaches Idia in the hallway and their creepy nonverbal conversation began.
'Are you hurt?' 'No.' 'Good. I can dox them later if you want. Wanna play some games with me later?' 'Yes. I have something for you.' 'Let's see it then.'
Ghost pulls out from their cloak their most precious charm they own: Wayward Compass. Idia's gamer instincts can tell how much latent immense power that is stored in this innocuous brooch, and he accepts it gladly.
Later that day, Idia asks Ortho to scan the object to see what kind of power lays behind this brooch.
"It just shows you where you are on any map."
"Like a GPS?" Ortho nods.
"Oh."
~Malleus~
He's quite pleased actually. He, as well as most of Diasomnia (being the fae that they are), knows the ghost isn't quite a fae, but isn't quite human either, so even he's at a loss for what kind of being the ghost really is. And this mystery makes it all the more easy for Ghost to become the target of bullying, and thus all the more easy for Malleus to become super protective over little ghost. Ultimately, Malleus is glad to see that they were not hurt in the fight.
After all, from the moment when they first met and he looked into it's eyes, he could sense that same sort of empty loneliness within as he does within himself. The Ghost isn't scared of him either, so naturally it seemed that they've become good friends, even if neither party are prone to speaking very much- if at all.
As the Ghost approaches Malleus in the hallway after the fight, he pets the top of their head and wonders to himself- what sort of material is this mask thing made of? Bone? Or is it a type of exoskeleton? Is it made from ceramic or glass? Or perhaps a strange type of wood? Maybe it's made from a material that's only exclusive to the world that Ghost is from.
Lost in his own thoughts, Malleus continued to pat Ghost's head endearingly, and he didn't notice that Ghost was holding something out for him until Ghost takes his hand off of their head and instead wrap his fingers around the stem of a precious white flower. It looked delicate, like it could break apart and fly away at any moment.
And yet, it was such a beautiful flower.
"Is this... for me?" he asks, to which Ghost responds with a nod.
To be honest, the knight would have been completely infuriated if those bullies had managed to break the delicate flower from their home world. They would not have gotten away with the measly scrapes that they did. There was only one of these flowers, and I mean, sure- it was supposed to be for someone else, but the knight got transported here before they could even bring it to Elderbug. Truly though, it was a miracle that the flower had managed to last this long without being broken.
Meanwhile, Malleus gets lost in his thoughts again for a second after realizing that this was the first gift he'd ever gotten from someone he considered as a friend. A kindred soul. He must take great care to protect both the flower and this little creature that is neither fae, human, nor monster- but a friend.
He takes extremely good care of the flower. It might even become one of his favorite items, next to his precious Tamagotchi game, and he places it in an enchanted vase to protect it for as long as he can.

đžđAnd her sleeping for a month to recover from the fight and one day after a stressful day for the boys they visit ramshackle and seeing her awake giving grim his headpats .
đčđŠđđđđźđ
Riddle Rosehearts
After hearing that another demon was being transferred to NRC, he was excited. Perhaps they would be like you! He hasnât met any demons before you (unless you count his mom who was probably sent from the fiery depths of Hell), so pardon his ignorance.
He noticed his mistake when everyone was summoned to the Grand Mirror to welcome the demon. You knew. You knew that you needed to fight. Riddle quickly evacuated the other students and you tackled the demon before she had the chance to kill anyone.
By the time he went back inside for you, you had a sadistic grin on your face as you kept smashing the demonâs head into the ground with your foot. Riddle had to pull you away before any more damage was caused.
After realizing what you had just done, you started sobbing. Your lover held you close and sank to the ground. He laid your head in his lap as he started humming the lullaby you told him your mom sang to you as a little girl.
The school nurse wheeled you to the infirmary, and since that day Riddle had come to drop off some roses that he grew himself by your bedside. Until one day, where you werenât in your bed. He dropped the vase of roses and went off looking for you.
His first instinct told him to check Ramshackle. You cannot imagine the relief he felt when he saw you on the living room floor, petting Grim. When you saw him in the door, you nearly tackled him to the ground in a hug. He just held you, glad to know that you were alright.
Leona Kingscholar
He was concerned about another demon being accepted into NRC. You already had trouble with maintaining your self-control, and he remembers where you told him you were the only demon in recorded history to not consume a human.
He wasnât surprised when the demon attacked, but what he didnât expect was that they attacked when he nephew was visiting. He quickly snatched Cheka up in his arms as the demon charged, preparing for impact, when nothing came. Instead, you kicked the demon and stood looming over them.
Leona handed Cheka to Ruggie and ran back to you, only to see that you were grinning maniacally as you stomped on the head of the demon over and over again. He grabbed your arm and pulled you off.
After snapping back to your senses all you could do was stare at the body and sob. The second-born prince wrapped his arms around you as he started humming the lullaby and running his hand through your hair. Eventually, you fell asleep and he carried you to the infirmary.
He would spend hours at your bedside, often caught sleeping there, just waiting for you to wake up again. However, the one time where he leaves to go get food, he returns to your bed being completely empty. He ran out of the infirmary, and his gut told him to look at Ramshackle.
His worried expression was immediately washed away when he saw you hugging Grim. He rushed over and hugged you, which caught you by surprise. After realizing that it was him, you leaned back into him. He had never been so glad to see you, and he did not let you go for the rest of the day.
Azul Ashengrotto
He was curious as to how you would get along with the new demon on campus. He was concerned, yes, but more intrigued at the possible differences between the two of you. However, things did not go according to plan.
The demonâs first target was the Mostro Lounge. In fact, it seemed as though they had something personal against Azul considering they were charging directly at him. Azul just about accepted his fate until you busted in and kicked the demon away, growling in anger.
He evacuated the Lounge, having the tweels help him. Once it was empty, he went back to check on you despite everyone elseâs warnings. What he walked in on startled him. You had a crazy grin on your face as you kept stomping on the demonâs head. Azul meant to call out for you, but it came out in a whisper. You heard and turned to him. You then looked back down and started shaking.
He could see tears falling and pulled you off the dead body into his arms. Heâs not that great at singing, but heâs not horrible. He softly hums the melody of the lullaby as you drift to sleep, then heâll have the twins take you to the infirmary.
Since he has both school work and a Lounge to run, he isnât able to stay by your side all the time. Instead, he wakes up extra early for a full month to drop off a flower. It made him sad to see 30 flowers in the vase. But on the 31st day, he saw that you werenât in your bed. He asked the nurse and they said you woke up.
He ran as fast as his legs could carry him to Ramshackle. The relief he felt when he saw you on the floor of your living room while holding Grim was unfathomable. You looked up and saw him and knocked him over while wrapping your arms around his neck. He reciprocated, and placed a kiss on the top of your head. He was just so happy that you were alright.
Kalim Al-Asim
He was excited that another person was joining the school, be they a demon, human, etc. Heâs always looking for opportunities to become friends with more people. What he forgot was that demons from your world ate humans without a care.
What he didnât expect was the demon to go crazy and bloodthirsty at the welcoming party he threw for them. In fact, they were charging directly at him! Jamil wasnât able to get him in time, but there wasnât any need. You kicked the demon in their face to steer them off course.
Jamil and Kalim worked on evacuating everyone from the dorm while being worried for you. Once everyone was gone Kalim dodged Jamilâs grasp and ran towards you, only to see you stomping the absolute hell out of the demon.
He grabbed your arm and pulled you off, which is when you realized what you had done. You wrapped your arms around Kalim and started sobbing into his shoulder. He started singing the lullaby you told him about until you drifted off to sleep. He sank down to the ground with you, and waited until the nurse arrived and took you to the infirmary.
He made it a point to always visit, telling you what happened during your time asleep. He gets you a bunch of trinkets that he bought on impulse because they reminded him of you. He came in with a keychain that he had engraved with both of your names when he noticed that you were gone. He dropped it and asked the nurse where you were. He was excited to hear that you had woken up.
He ran to Ramshackle, not caring about anyone who got in his way and pushing them out of the way. He got teary-eyed when he saw you alive and well and on the floor of your living room while petting Grim. He practically dived over to you, wrapping you in his arms and apologizing. For what? We donât know. He just felt it was necessary.
Vil Schoenheit
He was most definitely worried for the wellbeing of the school when Crowley announced that it would be good for the press to see that NRC was the first out of the two rivals to accept two demons from another world. For diversity, he reassured.
Well, things backfired and the other demon became unable to control their desire for human flesh. In fact, they thought that because Vil was the fairest of them all, his flesh would be absolutely delectable. He didnât have enough time to cast a protection spell, but he looked and saw that you came bursting in and kicked the demon in the face.
He had Rook escort everyone out and he helped with the process, but he couldnât help but be worried. He heard a loud growl coming from where you were and rushed over to see you grinning in pure delight while stomping the demonâs face into the floor.
Vil shouted your name and you looked over, and your grin dropped. You looked back down at the body and started sobbing in despair. Your boyfriend pulled you away and into a hug. He didnât know exactly what to do, but the lullaby you showed him came to mind. He started humming the melody until your breathing became even. Eventually you fell asleep, and he carried you to the infirmary.
He visited whenever he could, but he was insanely busy with his acting and modeling career as well as schoolwork and running his dorm. However, you were his first priority. Every time he visited, he didnât apply lipstick because he always placed a kiss on your forehead. However, this time you were gone. He let out an audible scream, then ran out in search of you.
The sigh of relief he let out when he found you in Ramshackle caused you to pause petting Grim and look over. Vilâs hair was a mess because he was running, but that didnât make him any less beautiful. You ran over and threw your arms around him, and he did the same. The happiness you both felt in that moment was immeasurable.
Idia Shroud
He didnât really care about another demon coming to NRC. Itâs not like he would meet them anyway. However, he had Ortho go in his place to see the demon get sorted into their dorm. The younger Shroud sibling took the tablet so Idia could attend virtually.
It was the ultimate plot twist when the demon turned bloodthirsty and started attacking. Crowley casted a protection spell on the students, but the demon was still charging at Ortho. Idia was about to scream his younger brotherâs name before you wrestled the demon to the ground.
The eldest Shroud brother ran as fast as his legs could carry him to the Mirror Room to see how you were doing. He pulled Ortho out and rushed in to see you stomping on the demonâs head with a menacing grin on your face. You were covered in blood.
He softly uttered your name in a questioning way, and that caused you to turn around and meet his worried gaze. You then realized what you had done and started sobbing uncontrollably. Idia, forgetting his shyness, pulled you into a hug. He put his headphones over your ears and it was playing the lullaby your mother had sung to you when you were little. You eventually fell asleep in his arms and he laid you down and waited by you for the nurse to arrive and take you to the infirmary.
He visited during the day and night. The nurse allowed him to use the bed beside you so that he could stay on the nights where it was particularly hard without you. One day, he came and you were gone. His eyes widened in worry before he asked the nurse, who told him with a smile that you had woken up and went to your dorm with medicine.
He had never run so fast. When he saw you on the floor of your dormâs living room, he had to stop to catch his breath. His heaving caused you to hear him and you tackled him in a hug. He squeezes you tight while letting out laughs of relief.Â
Malleus Draconia
Was most definitely against the idea of bringing another demon. He didnât forget how you were close to murdering Sebek, imagine the damage the other demon could do. They, from what you have told him, donât have the morals you have.
He was definitely right to be exceedingly hesitant because at the dorm sorting, they were overwhelmed by being in a room filled with humans. That caused them to lash out. Malleus seemed to be appealing somehow because they were charging at him. He was about to use his magic when you kicked them in the face and started packing them the f up.
He was immediately worried and wanted to help, but Lilia, Sebek, and Silver were dragging him out of the building. Then he heard a growl inside and he immediately pulled away with all his strength and came running towards you, only to find you absolutely stomping the demonâs head into the ground.
He called out your name while grasping one of your arms, which caused you to turn around and look at the worried look in his eyes. This caused you to realize what just happened and you immediately started to cry. He pulled you into a hug while remembering the lullaby you told him about. He used his magic to make you imagine he was your mother humming the lullaby. Once you were asleep, he carried you to the infirmary,
He made it a part of his schedule to visit you in the infirmary. It took the place of his nightly walks, since they would be lonely without you by his side. You looked so peaceful, as if someone had placed you under a sleeping curse. But one day, you werenât there. He asked the nurse where you were, and once they said that you woke up, he was rushing out.Â
He knew that you were at Ramshackle, otherwise one of his retainers wouldâve told him otherwise. He just about busted the door down, and when he saw you on the floor while holding Grim. You obviously heard him, and you ran into his open arms. He did the whole thing where he picks you up and spins you around, just glad to see that you were alright and back in his arms.

Does NRC have a nurse or a doctor for the infirmary? I don't think it's ever mentioned outside of Crewel mentioning a nurse briefly during 6-19
Hello hello! At the end of Book 6 Crowley reveals that "Night Raven College has resident counselors and medical mages appointed by the Department of Education," so it seems that there are multiple medical professionals on campus!
But we have not seen any of them yet, with Crewel tending to the prefect's injuries himself in Book 6 rather than wait for a nurse, saying that he will also look out for Ace and Deuce.
The infirmary also appears in Book 2, but the nurse does not: neither in the game nor in the novelization (this scene has yet to appear in the manga, where the Savanaclaw arc is still ongoing).
Riddle mentions the infirmary at the end of Book 6 and, afterwards, we learn that his hair color has been restored, but it is not technically specified that it was a medical mage at the school who healed him.
Vil says that, post-overblot, they all went to medical mages, "who gave us proper counseling and treatment," and these may have been the medical mages of Sage's Island.
Trey says that Riddle and the other overblotters received "proper medical treatment and had a complete recovery."
To answer the initial question: Yes! There do seem to be "world-class medical facilities" on Sage's Island (according to Idia), including counselors and medical professionals at the school, but we have yet to meet them.
Searching about for theories on the school's medical staff I found a conversation about who the nurse(s) and/or doctor(s) might be twisted from (if they ever appear in game), which is fascinating to think about! Maybe an addition to the staff one day might not be impossible?
(The potential characters discussed in the thread are Yzma (Emperor's New Groove), Captain Hook (Peter Pan), Mother Gothel (Rapunzel) and Lotso (Toy Story 3), with one person offering up Rafiki (Lion King) as a potential nurse at RSA.)

an idea, how about yuu getting a cold in the monster au? how would the staff react to it?
*going back through the backlog of asks to answer stuff I couldnât think of a response for at the time* I really need to clean up my inbox and answer some of these things. Sorry for the delay! đ
Anywho~!
Much like animals in our world, the monsters in the monster!AU have a tendency to hide when theyâre hurt or sick due to an old instinct to hide away and âlick their woundsâ so to speak. Nowadays though, monster magicians and witches cannot afford to stay sick or let injuries last longer than necessary due to their own stubborn nature and will seek aid. Of course, there are some who refuse to do so due to pride, so the staff (both living and ghostly) have learned to pinpoint the signs right off the bat so they can react accordingly.
So when the schoolâs resident endangered human stumbles onto campus looking like someone dragged them through the Underworld and backâŠwelllllllâŠ
Crowley:
It was another beautiful day, and just as he does every morning, the headmaster greets every student with a cheerful smile. And just like every day, the students ignore himânot that this bothered him. After all, he is a mature adult! Such trivial things didnât bother him in the slightest. And at least there was one student who was surely happy to see him: âAh, good morning, YuâGREAT MERCIFUL SEVEN!!! Are you alright?!â
As shifty and mysterious as he could be at times, no one can say he doesnât care about his students. So the moment he spots a sick Yuu looking like a member of the undead, he immediately escorted them to the nurseâs office for a check-up. He may have fretted over what the researchers might assume if they thought the school had been neglecting the human. That would be a blemish on the hospitality and care of NRC! (Calm down, Crowley, or youâll start molting early. >.> )
Even if it turns out to be a simple cold, Crowley makes sure to visit them frequently to monitor their recovery. Whatever Yuu needs, heâll make the arrangements: fresh flowers to brighten the room? Only the prettiest and most fragrant, chosen by the Pomefiore students for quality aesthetics! Soup for the cold? Of course the cafeteria ghosts know and can make the best soup for the soul to ease any cold! Clean linen? Changed out every day with pillows fluffed for maximum comfort!
When Yuuâs fever finally broke and they were able to recover, Crowley heaved a sigh of relief. Sure, part of it was from worrying about the backlash from the research institutions if Yuu took a turn for the worst, but he was genuinely relieved to know that Yuu was recovering well. Now, he just needs to make arrangements for a visit with a doctor to get immunizations. No need to risk the only human in existence to get sick from some illness not native to where they came fromâŠ
Crewel:
The moment Yuu stumbled into homeroom, he immediately turned them around and said, âNurseâs office. Now.â His tone suggested there was no room for argument, and at this point, Yuu knew better than to disobey him. It wasnât until a break between classes that he came to check on them, listening to what the nurse had to say and coming up with a plan to help them recover.
All throughout the day, the werewolf professor would check in on Yuu, bringing the nurse herbs and potions to help with the symptoms. He would bring their homework to them and spend time catching Yuu up on the lessons they missed, stopping when he noticed them struggling to focus so they could rest. If they wish to do after-school or weekend lessons, he will have a talk with the other teachers to make it happen.
Once Yuu starts gaining their energy back, heâs pleased to know that one of his pups is going to be okay. He is, however, going to make sure that theyâre taking care of themselves.
Trein:
The moment he learned that Yuu was sick, he was brought back to those days when his daughters caught a cold. As a father, he knew how difficult it was to keep little ones (and sometimes teenagers) on bedrest. If Yuu happens to be one of those who canât stand to be sick in bed doing nothing, heâll bring them books from the library and even his own private collection for them to read. He may or may not have allowed their friends to slip in a comic book or two.
During the times after school or during breaks, he would bring Lucius along with him for some animal companionship. With paws kneading biscuits on the blankets and the sweetest purrs, the matagot will be happy to lend his assistance if it means Yuu will recover faster. Combined with Trein sitting beside them reading aloud from one of the books, itâs enough to keep Yuu engaged and resting without feeling the need to move around.
Even when Yuu is back to normal, he doesnât mind still reading to them and Ortho whenever he and Lucius are in the courtyard. Itâs been ages since heâd helped care for someone in need since his daughters moved out of the house, and he was proud to see them full of life again.
Vargas:
Yuuâs sick?! Oh, he knows just what they need to get back on their feet: lots of rest, soup, and water mixed with sports drinks for electrolytes!...what? Did you honestly expect him to force Yuu to try and do workouts or drink and eat the things he does when theyâre sick? Absolutely not! He knows that a magicianâs physical abilities can improve their ability to cast magic, but he understands that resting is important too.
âIf I wouldnât expect you to walk on a broken leg, why should I expect you to be at your best when sick or mentally exhausted?â heâd explained to the very confused human as he mixed water into a cup with their favorite flavored sports drink. âMaintaining your physical health is important, but knowing when to rest and recover is something you need to pay attention to what your body is telling you. You arenât being lazy if youâre resting your mind and body. So focus on taking care of yourself first and foremostâŠgot it?â
While he does make sure they get plenty of rest and nutrients in their system, he can help make sure they will have an easier time recovering by helping them stretch out those sore muscles using techniques heâd learned from a physical therapist. Even when theyâre given a clean bill of health, heâs not going to just toss them back into exercising at full-tilt. Building back up to where they were before is going to be exactly what he has in mind, and heâll make sure to get them there!
Sam:
Oh dear, the little imp has a nasty cold? Well thatâs not good! Donât worry, Yuu: Sam has anything and everything you need. IN STOCK! Thermometers and cooling patches for your forehead? In stock! Cough and cold medicine in liquid or capsule form? In stock! Air purifiers and hot steam vaporizers for those stuffy noses? On sale! Anything that Yuu could possibly need to be more comfortable during their recovery or things they used before, heâll have exactly what they ask for or will find something close enough/better. Thatâs the Mystery Shop guarantee!
Even though he runs the shop, he finds ways to make time to visit and brings just the thing Yuu was going to ask for. How? Well, he canât reveal all his secrets, now can he? After all, Yuu is one of his best customers, and he wants to see them back up to their mischievous selves!
Heâs happy to have Yuu back in the shop once they get over their cold, bringing out their favorite snacks heâd saved just for them at a slight discount. Donât forget about the bonus jam-filled shadow skull cookies he madeâYuu will be the first to taste-test a new product he plans to sell! On the side, he takes note of the items that helped Yuuâs recovery, making sure he has a way to get whatâs needed in case of an emergency.

Rhapsody in Teal
time to face the dreaded awkward school dance! youâve got bigger problems though. maybe someone can solve both.
jade x reader
cw: none
Ace wrinkles his nose at the banner. âLame. Iâm def not even gonna go.â
Deuce, now quite used to Aceâs offhand commentary, doesnât bother looking away. He is standing on top of a ladder, though. âMore fun for the rest of us, then.â
âI donât knowâŠâ You are pretty sure you never liked school dances even before coming to NRC. You canât imagine why they would be any different here. âI might not, either.â
âAww, what?â This causes Deuce to glance back at you briefly. âYou have to! Itâs gonna be fun.â
You shake your head. âOne, I really donât like dances. Two, please donât fall off the ladder. Iâm not strong enough to carry you to the nurseâs office, and Ace will skip that entirely and notify your next of kin.â
Ace snickers. âWanna hang out that night instead? Games, snacks, rot our brains with television?â
âThat would be better. Idk, Iâll let you know.â You donât tell either of them the biggest reason, which involves you and a dress.
You have homework to do, so you head for the double doors leading out of the gym. You push one open a little too aggressively and almost flatten someone on the other side. Their hand catches the door and stops it dead.
âOh shit! Sorry.â
Unfortunately, itâs Jade Leech who blinks down at you, a tiny smile stealing over his carefully controlled expression. âQuite alright,â he says politely. His focus rises past you and lands, presumably, on the two-thirds of your band of idiots you just left behind. âWhat could be going on in here?â
You look over your shoulder for the excuse not to have to look at him. Youâve heard bad things. âOh, theyâre decorating for the dance. Deuce is on the Culture Committee.â Something something honor student.
âFascinating. I had not realized such an event was on the calendar.â
You step aside to let him through, but he does not move. His black-gloved hand holds the door open still, and his expression hasnât changed. âButâŠarenât you coming over here for some reason?â
His face brightens a tiny bit. âAh, well, I am once again looking for my brother, Floyd.â He pokes his head through the doorway and takes an extremely cursory glance around. âI was under the impression that he was at basketball practice until four-thirty.â
âOh. Uh, let me ask.â You take a step back into the gym and yell. âAce! Do you know where Floyd is?â
âNo, he left early!â he yells back.
âDamn. Dead end, I guess.â
Jade shrugs, unperturbed. âI am certain he will turn up. Thank you for your assistance.â He turns to leave, but he pauses. âFeel free to stop by the Lounge at your convenience.â He smiles broadly at you. âIt would be my honor to buy you a drink.â
Somehow thereâs no sound when your heart slams into the floor and bounces back up to your throat. âOh, wh- I. Um. Sure. O-okay.â
Your nervousness only makes him smile wider. âWonderful.â

A Stroke of Luck
Jamil x f!reader (romantic or platonic)
Fluff with light angst
3rd person Jamil pov
Content warnings: Fainting, injury, Jamil getting stressed
During his first year at NRC Jamil notices something off with one of his fellow freshmen
A/N: This is my first real drabble so feedback would be appreciated. Reader is a fox beastperson
Jamil was going to hate his school life. Two months into his first year at NRC, Kalim Al-Asim had transferred. Into his dorm. Which meant the dream of four years without having to hold himself back was dead and buried.
Resigned to being the babysitter once again.
How lovey.
Currently Kalim was busy with the Pop Music club, leaving Jamil to enjoy a few hours of peace. He looked around the Scarabia lounge, searching for a task to entertain himself when one of his fellow first-years walked by. She was shorter than him, with ginger hair and fox ears and tail that twitched every time she noticed a slight noise. She stopped for a moment and he noticed that surprisingly, she wasnât sweating.
Must be used to the heat
She kept walking and eventually got out of sight. Jamil sighed and walked out of the dorm. He needed to visit Mr. Sâ Mystery Shop to restock some staple ingredients for Kalimâs meals.
Jamil made his way through the crowded, overstocked shelves of the shop, intentionally looking away from the novelty lollipops with bugs incased in the sugar. Until, eventually he came across the cooking and foodstuff section. He carefully inspected the produce and made sure to pick out the best quality ingredients. After he got everything he needed, he made his way to the register where Sam was waiting to ring him up.
âWhy hello little imp! Are these ingredients all you want to purchase today? Perhaps you would be interested in some of the curios my friends on the other side have-â
Jamil cut him off, handing Sam a handful of Thumarks, âThese ingredients will be all.â
Sam accepted the money and bagged the produce. Jamil nodded thanks and left before the shopkeep could pitch him another product.
Back at Scarabia, Jamil finished putting the ingredients away. Satisfied, he walked to the lounge and sat down on the plush couches, ready to enjoy the break. ExceptâŠa student ran up to him, panicked.
âJamil! We have a problem!â
He raised an eyebrow, âWhatâs the matter?â
âSomeone just collapsed in the hall! We canât wake them up!â Jamil bolted up and followed the student to where a small crowd had gathered. The girl from earlier that day was on the floor unconscious. He placed his palm on her forehead and a rare expression of panic flickered across his face. She was extremely hot to the touch.
âIâll take her to the nurse. Someone help me pick her up,â Jamil hoisted her up with the help of the closest dorm member and ran to the nurse.
Heatstroke. The nurse recognized the signs, and immediately surrounded her in ice packs.
âShe should be fine. Youâre lucky you caught this early or this could have been bad for her. Let me know when she wakes up,â The nurse informed him before entering their personal office.
Ten minutes later, she started to stir. She slowly opened her eyes and immediately noticed him, starting to shift away from him until a wave of dizziness took over and stopped her.
âWh-who? Wh-what happened where am I?â She stammered, looking away from him. She grabbed her glasses off of the nightstand and put them on. Her ears were flat against her head, her eyes clocking the exits. She was terrified.
âNurseâs office. You passed out from heatstroke. IâllâŠIâll get the nurseâ Jamil let out a satisfied grunt when she nodded. After the nurse, checked her vitals and turned to Jamil.
âHave any other students passed out?â
âNot that I know of mx.â
âInteresting,â The nurse scribbled something on a clipboard and turned to the girl,âDo you have any idea?â
It was frustrating listening to her stammer through her explanation. She had a higher body temperature than most humans, so the high temperatures of the dorm made her overheat.
âI see. Perhaps it would be wise to have a cooling charm on your dorm uniform. Jamil, are you comfortable casting one?â The nurse inquired. Jamil nodded, âYes Mx.â
âPerfect. Please do that while I finish filling out the paperwork for the headmage. Not that heâll read itâŠâ The nurse grumbled and walked away, scribbling notes on their clipboard.
Jamil began casting the charm on her uniform. It was a simple spell, and she seemed to visibly relax once it finished casting. Looked at him gratefully, her tail slightly wagging.
âTh-thank you,â She muttered.
âItâs no problemâŠ.â
âR-Robyn.â
Jamil nodded,âYouâre welcome Robyn. Iâm Jamil.â
The next day, he noticed her looking more comfortable in the dorm and she smiled at him slightly.
Maybe the next few years wonât be insufferable after allâŠ.

Rules, Charas, and Tags :3
âš I'm an adult (21+) but this blog is PG13 (there will be swearing and occasionally more mature topics) SO nothing NSFW/18+ pretty please (heavy gore, sexual themes, etc.). If you're not sure if something would be ok, just shoot me a dm and I'll happily answer!
âš With the above, if you want to ship OCs or characters??? Please actually send me a DM about that. I'd prefer to actually be able to discuss it in depth and depending on the context, I may or may not be chill with it.
âš I have anxiety, a part time job (with an irregular schedule) and full-time school. Pls be patient if I don't respond asap or don't frequently send asks.
âš Pretty pls read about my OCs before you interact <3
âš Also if you're sending asks, pls do try to specify whomst you're talking about! Usually I'm pretty good at picking up on context, but I still slip up once in a while </3
âš I yap a lot in the tags sometimes. This isn't a rule but more something to just be aware of.
âš Very basic DNI. I don't rly think there's any need to elaborate just keep away if you're a creep or a bigot.
âš Anyways now the fun part! The actual OCs! Post break, ofc
Our Lovely Cast <3
đŠYuna Sid: Ramshackles prefect (or... One of them?). She's from another world and generally doesn't know what's going on. She's fairly confident and sociable but very guarded unless she trusts you. Intro Post
đ©șHeinrich Volishtump AKA Dr. V: NRCs resident nurse, back from Sabbatical. He's kind of a klutz and incredibly scatterbrained BUT he also has a heart of gold and cares deeply for his students (even if he's often the target of pranks). He was once a student in Ignihyde 30 some years ago. Intro Post
đ©Lewis Hatterson: A second year from Heartslabyul and host of a gossip-based radio show on campus, NRTeaâ. He's relatively laid back and doesn't like sticking to strict rules or schedules (ironic, considering his dorm placement). He often butts (and loses his own) heads with his housewarden because of this. Intro Post
âIzem Usiku: A Savanaclaw 3rd year who is in charge of a band of "delinquents" called "The Black Sheep". He's a bit gruff, but ultimately caring. Despite the fact that his group is full of students who don't like their dorms or housewardens, Izem himself is highly respectful of his own. Intro post
đJames Ratt: Pomefiore 2nd Year, heir to a financial conglomerate in the Shaftlands, very prideful and cares a lot about his image. He's Lewis's co-host on NRTeaâ and is certainly the much more strict and serious of the duo. He doesn't get along with too many people due to the perception that he is incredibly high maintenance. Intro Post (TBA)
đCasimir Chernenko: Diasomnia 1st Year, Chuunibyou with a one sided rivalry against Malleus. He speaks in (and often misuses as a result) very complicated and flowery language, so no one seems to know what he's saying half the time. Wants to become "The Most Evil Overlord". Whatever that means. Intro Post
đŠRusul Sader: Scarabia 1st Year, a dancer and son of a merchant family with a penchant for mischief and pranks. He's got a habit of weighing the pros and cons of things before making commitments (unless it comes to what would simply be the most fun for him). Intro Post
âšCharacters are associated by their colors and any time I speak, there will be a fun lil star by it!!!
Important Tags on here!!!
I don't have too many tags, but here are the main ones. They'll be updated as I reveal more characters or get anons and things <3
#âšmod speaks - My tag for just general posts that aren't OC related!!
Likewise, #âšmod reblogs and #âšmod answers are for reblogs/asks that are not in character.
#âšlore dumping and the occasional #âšlore dumping (RP edition) are for posts where I talk about or introduce significant pieces of character lore
#âšdashboard commentary is exclusively for silly posts related to things I'm observing going on in the RPC. They're open for RP, like all of my posts.
#â«blot accumulation is. A very self explanatory one that you likely won't see often. But oh, it will be there. It will be there.
Below here are all the character tags that you'll see on posts where characters are speaking and/or are heavily talked about.
#đŠnrm Yuna
#đ©nrm Lewis
#đ©șnrm Heinrich
#đnrm Casimir
#đnrm James
#đŠnrm Rusul
#ânrm Izem
The respective lore tags for these characters are identical, just with "lore" at the end.

I just came up with an idea that's related to this post which I'll talk about underneath the cut.
Okay, so after giving the topic of Yuu's canon first Halloween at NRC some more thought, I just came to a realization.
The Endless Halloween/Spectral Soiree event could totally be canon to the A Twisted Future timeline.
Now, I know when I made a fic based on that event I said otherwise, but I only meant that in regards to the version of that event I wrote where Yuu was involved.
Technically, for my series' canon timeline, I could have the original version of this event happen and not at all involve Yuu or Grim for that matter, because, after having previously found out that Yuu is under orders to stay in the infirmary, Malleus & Lilia wouldn't wanna risk impeding her recovery.
Plus, Malleus still wants to keep his identity a secret, and that would be very difficult to do under these circumstances for obvious reasons.
So, as a result, Malleus and Lilia don't invite Yuu and Grim to join them in the Spectral Realm after they team-up with the ghosts to have a party/escape room.
However, those two don't completely leave Yuu/Grim out of their plans since Lilia comes up with the idea of Malleus using sleep magic on Yuu/Grim and making it seem like the only way to awaken the sleeping princess and her familiar is by going to the Spectral Realm and facing Malleus.
Since he thought it was an amusing idea, Malleus went along with it. Plus, he wanted to give Yuu a very peaceful slumber since he figures it's the least he can do considering he's leaving her out of all the "fun" everyone else is having lol
As a result, when Ace rushes to check on Yuu/Grim at the infirmary after he and everyone else who was left behind wakes up and tries to wake the two up, he's unable to, much to his dismay, and his dismay quickly turns into anger when he sees the note that was left on Yuu's bed which is similar to the note that was left at Ramshackle in the canon version of the event.
If you're wondering about Leona, he remained in the infirmary until a nurse got back, so he was asleep at his dorm when students were getting kidnapped and Malleus was using sleep magic on Yuu/Grim, like in canon.
Anyway, overall, this event happens exactly as it does in canon with the only exception being that Yuu/Grim never go to the Spectral Realm, so those two unfortunately end up missing out on the party.
Also, we're just gonna say the Trey & Sebek convo about Sebek's dad also doesn't happen for whatever reason since I had that happen in my Wish Upon a Star fic lol
I'll also add that, while the NRC boys hang out with each other during this event, none of the interactions are the kind of which that would have a longstanding effect on these relationships and change canon events in the main story.
Although, now that I think about it, since this takes place before Book 3, this would be a good time for Azul to target ADeuce and bring up his special study guide since Yuu isn't around to keep an eye on her sons and interfere lol
Also, regarding the guys knowing each other's names, I'm gonna assume second years and third years all know each other by this point, and the first years learn about most of the upperclassmen not from their dorms through the Spelldrive Tournament, although ADeuce didn't go to it cause they wanted to stay with Yuu & Grim in the infirmary, and through club activities and just random encounters at school like what you'd see in a card vignette.
I feel like the only upperclassman whom the majority of the first years wouldn't know the name of is Idia cause he's always in his room lol
Anyway, the next day, when Yuu and Grim find out what happened from ADeuce, Grim is predictably upset that he got left out of all the fun and that Malleus dared to use sleep magic on him.
Meanwhile, Yuu is beyond relieved that she didn't have to go to the place where ghosts live đ Like yeah she's a little bummed that she missed out on not just one but TWO parties, but honestly, she can live with that since she doubts she would've enjoyed the second party all that much considering where it was located lol
The main reason why I decided to make this event canon is cause I really wanna be able to reference how the guys acted in that event when I cover the new Halloween event since there's a scene involving the NRC boys, Skully, and their views on ghosts that really bugged me, and I just really want my Yuu to really let the NRC boys have it by referencing this event lol
For the record, for the new Halloween event, I'm gonna try to make it canon to the A Twisted Future timeline, so it won't happen in October like it does in the original version of the event. Instead, the event will take place in the spring like so many other events lol đ

Of Nightingales and Night Ravens: Chapter 1 - A Rumor in Night Raven College
What do you get when you cross Disney Princess Yuu with Beast Tamer Yuu, Accidental God Yuu, Magic User Yuu, NRC Cult, English is a Dead Language, English is the Language of Magic, and Disney Songs are Lost Songs?
You get Yuura Miyajima, the Nightingale of Night Raven College.
(Inspired by @pookacangetitââs Disney Song AU)
Chapter: I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII
Read on AO3
Summary:Â Have you heard? There's a rumor in Night Raven College. (or, the Prologue)
Something is off about the Prefect.
Actually, if one were to ask the average Night Raven College studentâ
âŠas average as one can be when attending the simultaneously infamous & prestigious school "for budding villains"...
âhow they would describe the Prefect of Ramshackle Dorm, many would answerâwith the vaguest sense of thoughtful deliberationâodd.
(Though among the members of the Watch, whose numbers continue to grow each day, the more derisive descriptors have fallen out of favor, if only to avoid the displeasure of either the Prefect themself or their frightfully protective Inner Circle.
(It should be noted, however, that the first and only person to ever call the Prefect 'off' to their faceâ"Thereâs something off about you, you know that?"âwas one of the Prefectâs self-proclaimed best friends, who proceeded to get smacked over the head by the Prefectâs other self-proclaimed best friendâ"Ace, what the hell? Shut up!"âwhile the Prefect themself sat there in confusion, pondering over their friendâs wordsâ"Off? Do you mean like when someone describes spoiled milk as off? Or moldy cheese? Rancid meat? Deuce, is my personality rotten?")
D reassured me that my personality is not rotten, it's just A being his rotten self. While I can concede that A can be disagreeable at times, I wouldn't go so far as to call him "extremely unpleasant", or "awful", or w/ever else "rotten" could mean. He's ACE.
Regardless of the specific adjective, calling the Ramshackle Prefect off wouldn't be inaccurate. Neither would odd, unconventional, unusual, eccentric, and so on, and so forth. Perhaps not insane, but the Prefect once had been caught trying to climb the flying buttress connecting the lower ground of Ramshackleâs land to the higher plateau where the main school building sits.
(They made it over the wall into the courtyard in front of the infirmary, an astonishing feat witnessed by a handful of infirmed students, their visitors, andâunfortunatelyâNurse Maddox and Professor Andela. The latter then escorted the Prefect to the Headmasterâs office, where Crowley proceeded to lecture them about the dangers of scaling old castle walls and the like, all very dramatic and histrionic as usual. The very next day, several startled students bore witness to the Prefect speeding down Main Street wearing a pair of vintage metal skates, their cat-weasel-monster partner perched precariously atop their shoulders as the Prefect laughed with half-mad, absolutely joyful glee.)
After that enlightening conversation w/ the HM, I was afforded permission to visit Mr. S's shop & purchased a convenient pair of skatesâmetal strap-on ones like the kind I had Before. If all goes well, I'll be able to cut down the travel time between Ramshackle & the main building w/out resorting to "alternative routes".
& w/out Grim falling off my shoulders en route.
In regards to the Prefect's perceived oddity and the factors contributing to the existence of this perceptionâ
For one, their unconventional introduction to the entire school during the Entrance Ceremony, complete with blue hellfire (courtesy of one weasel-monster-cat), a deluge of rainwater (courtesy of one Asim heir), and a good-ole decapitation/collaring (courtesy of one Heartslabyul Housewarden). How disruptive! How irresponsible, not being able to control their own familiar. How pathetic, to have magic so weak, they might as well not have magic at all.
(How odd, that the Dark Mirror was unable to read their soul, as if something was obscuring its vision. That their magic wasnât weak due to inherent deficiency from birth so much as from suppression. Itâs made all the more intriguing when a few remember the weirdly troubled, unsettled look in the Prefectâs dark eyes.)
Then thereâs just the way they speak. As a freshman appearing on the younger side of eighteen, hearing this short, delicate-looking kid speak with such textbook perfect formality is always jarring (they swear, several students will say, if not watashi, theyâve heard the Prefect refer to themself as watakushi, and a few times, yatsugare, of all things, in front of the Professors and the Headmage).
(Itâs strange. They sound almost like an old person, whenever the Prefect speaks. Too formal, too respectful, strangely⊠dated. And itâs not like Common is everyoneâs first languageâoften, itâs not even the secondâbut the way the Prefect speaks it, itâs like theyâve been familiar with an older form of the language for a long time. Not to mention those moments when the Prefect could be heard muttering to themself in something ancient-sounding and nearly unrecognizable.)
Probably most damning of allâthe fact that the Prefect is disgustingly, frustratingly, stupidly, undeniably kind. Not just nice or polite; anyone can play being nice or polite towards people they hate, and even then, the average Night Raven College student fails at even acting polite, let alone being nice towards their classmates. Night Raven College is not a kind environment, which makes the Prefectâs presence so unusual.
Who almost gets roasted alive by an ornery cat-monster, and decides to take them in and shelter them from the rain? Who gets insulted and nearly expelled by two Heartslabyul dunces, and doesnât hesitate to invite them into their rundown dorm to protect the two from their own Housewarden? Whoâif rumors are to be believedâencounters at least four Overblots and survives them, only to end up with actual friends and allies across all seven dorms?
It's stupid. Itâs crazy. Itâs insane. It⊠almost makes sense, when you consider the other rumors.
----
Ask any member of Scarabiaâit started when the Ramshackle students escaped a locked room on the Housewardenâs magic carpet, the assigned guards frozen in place once the Prefect opened their mouth and started to sing, the cold sands reacting to the outrage in their voice.
We canât stay here any longer. K needs help, I canât abandon him, but they canât lock me up again, they canât.
Ask any member of Octavinelleâit started when even the Vice Housewarden was taken by surprise; when, while wiping down tables, the Prefect began to croon the words of an old Coral Sea lullaby; so old, only the melody remains in present memory.
Sen. Blue & Leech the Elder gave me strange looks when I ended my shift today. Wish I knew what that was about. Must focus on finals, though. Poor Grimsby looks close to tears trying to study for Crewel's.
Ask any member of Savanaclawâit started when the Prefect, indignant over the treatment of their friends by the brutish and boorish students, snarled out the words of a lost song of the Afterglow Savana so fiercely, all the torches in the dormitory were blown out.
Sen. L & RB are going to make a full recovery, thank god. HW-R & Sen. T say to focus on my own health, but itâs hard to ignore the sorry display L & RB make when their beds are right across from mine. Esp. w/ Lâs OB.
Ask any member of Heartslabyulâit started when the Housewarden invited the Prefect for another tea party with his hand of Cards (Trappola, Spade, Clover, and Diamond, of course), and a number of Card Soldiers stumbled upon the Prefect in a rather isolated part of the maze, humming a tune heavily restricted to the Queendomâs royal family and the Royal Botanic Society, discerning the sentient flowers from the non-sentient.
It was very kind of RR to let me pick some flowers again for pressing. I think he liked the tea rose bookmark I made him from the last batch. He turned so red when C took a photo of him, it was sweet.
Ask the Vice Housewarden of Heartslabyul, or the Magicam-addicted juniorâit started after Roseheartsâagain, if rumors are to be believedâOverblotted, and passed out, bleeding heavily, on the verge of death, and the Magicless Prefect saved him in a unbelievable display of warm, golden light and desperate song.
Ask the Prefectâs self-proclaimed best friendsâit started when they delved into the abandoned Dwarf Mine on an impossible task to find a magestone, and the Prefect looked upon the decrepit cottage and Overblotted monster with such shock and sorrow, Deuce Spade had to wonder if theyâd been here before. It started when Ace Trappola chanced upon the Magicless student who interrupted the Entrance Ceremony, sweeping in front of the statues on Main Street and singing indiscernible words as if casting a spell, squirrels and songbirds gathering at their feet.
If you have the courage, ask the Headmage himself.
It started when he followed the terrified screams of a missing student, subdued a volatile weasel-creature, and found the collapsed child staring back at him with confused, startling hazel-brown eyesâbabbling in a language that disappeared when Lysaya Gora went silent along with its Black God.

The Lord Of The Underworld and His Lady of Spring Part 3
In this continuation. The guys and Asteria check up on their friends in the infirmary and try and do counts of who is missing and who is present after the intruders invaded. Epel invites Asteria to stay in Pomefiore for the time being, but they run into someone who is in quite a hurry. As always, Asteria belongs to @princess-of-pearls-and-stars
âManâŠâ Ruggie groaned as he walked, putting his hands behind his head. âWhy did Leona have to put ME in charge? Talk about drawing the short straw.â
Rook easily overheard this complaint, âIt means that Roi des Lions has great faith in you.â He gave him an assuring smile, âThe dorm is his pride, he knows he can trust you with it.â
Asteria noticed that Ruggie didnât seem convinced, âYeah, well trust doesnât fill an empty stomach. There better be some T-bone steaks in it for me later or it wonât be worth it!â
Rook sighed, also noticing Asteriaâs blank expression before he turned to Ruggie, âYet another reason we must make sure they return safely.â
âRuggie!â Jack called as he came around the corner running, still dressed in his PE uniform. He took a few moments to catch his breath before continuing, âI got your text! Whatâs this about Leona getting kidnapped by the guys who attacked the school!?â
âYou pretty much summed it up right there.â Ruggie informed him before scratching the back of his head as responsibility weighed on his shoulders. âLook, I need to round up everyone in the dorm and check in with them. Could you give me a hand?â
âHappy to.â Jack accepted, still gaining his bearings before his eyes landed on Asteria, âHey Asteria! Why are you all banged up? Did those intruders beat you up to? And whereâs Helena?â
âThey took herâŠâ Asteria revealed and sighed, âBut donât worry about me, itâs just a scratch, who cares about that when everyone else is in trouble in a place we canât find?â
Rook was quick to elaborate about what occurred at Ramshackle, âThe NRC tribe members were together at Ramshackle when it occurred. We were in the midst of the SDC postmortem when they attacked us. Vil, Jamil, Helena, and Grim were all taken just as Leona was.â
âThey got all of them too!?â Jack exclaimed.
Rook nodded before continuing, âAnd the freshmen that tried to rescue them were gravely injured.â
âArgh.â Jack growled with annoyance, âWhy are does guys so reckless?â
Rook shrugged his shoulders, âI would love to stay, but I must return to my dorm and fulfill my duties as vice hosuewarden but, Monsieur Fier-Ă -bras, would you be so kind as to go with Asteria to check up on our injured comrades in the infirmary.â
âThat would actually help me to.â Ruggie seconded Rookâs request, âYou can see if any students from our dorm are there.â
âGot it.â Jack accepted the quest, âI will alert you once I know more, letâs go Asteria.â
~~
Asteria barely paid attention to what was going on around her as she walked to the infirmary. She supposed she should be thankful that Ace, Deuce, and Epel were still in school property, yet there was no confirmation about how severe their injuries were.
âExcuse us, coming in.â Jack announced as they walked inside the hospital wing.
âSTAY!â Professor Crewel ordered, âSorry but all beds are occupied. Write your names on that paper and then wait in your dorm. The nurse will attend to you later⊠Wait youâre both perfectly fine. What business do you have here?â
âRuggie and Rook wanted me to check up on the guys here.â Jack stated plainly. âWhat about you Professor Crewel?â
The Professor was quick to reveal his reason for his presence, âI heard a pair of pups from my class got injured. Really, how can these whelps be so foolhardyâ he then eyed Asteria more closely, noticing her hand, âHmm, I see Asteria has come minor injuries. Come here, I can patch up simple scrapes.â
As the Professor went to grab some bandages and helped Asteria gently wrap her hand, Jack cleared his throat as he examined the room, âSo which beds are Ace and Deuce in? âŠoh.â
âThey havenât woken up yet.â Epel revealed, standing up from a chair placed in between the beds Ace and Deuce were placed in, still unconscious from the attack.
Jack showed a rare look of concern, âShould you be out of your bed Epel?â
âIâm fine.â Epel insisted, âStill a little shaky, but thatâs all.â
âI analyzed the residual traces of the spell they cast on you.â Professor Crewel revealed. âIt was meant to stun. Unfortunately, you sustained greater injuries because of where you fought.â
âWhat do you mean professor?â Asteria asked, looked up from her injured hand, now wrapping up and healing.
âI mean enemies and friendlies alike are bound to get hurt when you fire off magic in an old, antiquated, and delicate building.â Professor Crewel elaborated. âFreshmen would have a hard enough time using attack magic while simultaneously trying to shield themselves from falling debris. Surprise battles require the coolest of heads. Otherwise youâll wind up how they did.â He motioned over to Ace and Deuce.
âHehâŠâ Epel gave a quick awkward chuckle. âI guess you are right, I do remember a bunch of falling debris during the fight.â
âAlong with some falling cauldrons.â Asteria added. âAnd glass shards flying around like birds.â
Professor Crewel sighed, âThis is the problem with bad boys who act without thinking. I plan to train them all over again when they awake.â
âBut Professor!â Epel attempted to remind him, âThey did it to try and save Grim and the others.â
Professor Crewel only raised his hand to silence Epel, âTheir reasons are irrelevant. Itâs a trainerâs job to scold their pups when they do something phenomenally stupid. They got off lucky this time, at least they will make a full recovery soon enough. But imagine if those soldiers had been casting lethal spells? Things would have ended up much differently in such a case.â
Epel replied after a few moments of silence, âYouâre right, Iâm sorry. Vil must have known that which is why he ordered the freshmen to stay back. Then we went into mindlessly making idiots of ourselves. And what do we have to show for it? A big ol whoopin thatâs what. They hauled off Vil and the others and Iâll I could do was watch âem do it.â
Asteria facepalmed, âUgh, I felt so useless back there, if only I attacked quicker. Perhaps a different-â
ââŠno one can do everything right out of the gate much less know how to do properly in a heated situation.â Jack interrupted her. Look at the housewardens, none of them were born as excellent mages, child prodigies maybe, but even then they didnât know everything and had to learn. They went through trials of their own to get where they are today. The only reason it doesnât seem this way is because we met them when they had learned these lessons and bettered themselves as mages. And moping about what you couldnât have done isnât going to help. Focus on what you can do now. So both of you quit your bellyaching, you did what you could and we are here now, we will find a way to solve this. Itâs getting as annoying as nails on a chalkboard.â
Epel gave him an earnest gaze, âJackâŠâ
Professor Crewel seemed impressed by his speech, âNicely said Howl. Thatâs the right attitude, you make your dorm proud.â
âThanks Professor.â Jack shyly smiled.
âThe faculty will look into what we can do about are abducted students and the headmage.â Professor Crewel continued. âFelmier, Othonos, I expect you to both rest and recuperate.â
âYes sir.â Epel agreed, âI believe I can walk long enough to make it to my dorm. So Iâll head that way.â
âIâll head back to Savanclaw.â Jack declared, âI donât see any of my dorm members here, I need to inform Ruggie that his number should be accurate.â
âProfessor Crewel?â Epel asked before departing, âPlease take care of Ace and Deuce.â
âI wouldnât abandon these pups.â Professor Crewel reminded him, âEspecially under my supervision ⊠that goes for Asteria⊠and Grim and Helena of course. All the 1-A students are pups under the tutelage of the great Crewel.â
âIt means a lot Professor.â Asteria smiled, as she stood next to Jack and Epel.
âNow listen you three.â Professor Crewel ordered, âLet the faculty handle this, we donât need any more injured pups, you must remain safe.â To which the three nodded and gave verbal confirmations before departing the infirmary.
âSay Asteria.â Jack began shortly after they left heading towards the Hall of Mirrors, âSince Ramshackles all busted up from the attack, where are you gonna stay?â
âIâll be fine.â Asteria quietly insisted, âA roof is still there right? And I have dealt with a leaky roof before, this should be no different.â
âYou shouldnât be staying alone in case another attack happensâ Epel pointed out before making an offer, âWhy donât you stay in Pomefiore? We will need to get Rookâs permission but Iâm sure he wouldnât mind, itâs what Vil would have wanted, Iâm sure of it.â
âSounds like something he would agree with.â Jack assured the nervous Pomefiore freshman.
âIf you insistâŠâ Asteria replied, not having the energy to argue as they walked into the Hall of Mirrors
âCatch you two later!â Jack gave his farewells before making his way to Savanaclaw.
Epel gave Asteria a comforting look âItâs been quite a long day, letâs just try to relax and- AH-â he called out as he was knocked over by someone returning from Pomefiore.
âAre you ok Epel?â Asteria asked as she helped him back on his feet.
âIâm fine.â Epel assured her before fuming, âWho goes running out without a care in the world! You could have hurt someone-â
âMy apologies Monsieur Pommette.â Rook spoke softly and genuine, âI was in a great hurry, are you sure you are alright?â
âOh itâs you Rook.â Epel realizes with widened eyes, âI should ask you that question, I have never seen you in such a rush⊠and thatâs a big suitcase youâve got there⊠and youâve got your broom⊠are you going somewhere? Donât you need to be in the dorm more than any of us now that Vilâs gone?â
âLook, I apologize but I must depart.â Rook firmly spoke, âKeep your chin up.â
Epel looked horrified, âWhatâs that supposed to mean!? Where are you going that canât wait!?â
âThe Island of Woe!â Rook declared.
âYou canât be seriousâŠâ Epel groaned. âItâs a death sentence! No one knows where it is, not even the professors! You need to hold your horses mister!â
âDo not stop me.â Rook insisted, âMy mind is set. You see, I came to a horrifying realization when I returned to the dorm.â
âReally?â Asteria acted invested, âWhat was it?â
âWhen Vil was captured HE WASNâT CARRYING A SINGLE SKIN CARE PRODUCT!â Rook cried out.
âHuh?â Epel raised an eyebrow.
âThatâs what this is about?â Asteria said equally confused, âI get they are important butâŠâ
âIt is a dire situation.â Rook elaborated, âThe changing of the seasons can have tremendous effects on oneâs skin. Dryness is the natural enemy of a healthy complexion, and without care, the forbidden red fruit will swiftly bloom on their forehead and chin.â
âYou mean pimples?â Asteria inferred.
âAh pimplesâŠâ Rook sighed, âThe symbol of youth, they certainly have their own charm. But Vil has a photo shoot next week for a magazine cover. And he is firm believer that one must show up to such events in their top form.â
âPhooey to this photo shoot!â Epel exclaimed, âWe donât even know if he is ever coming back!â A statement that once again shook Asteria, thinking about Grim and Helena once more, âAnd youâre the VICE HOUSEWARDEN, you canât leave the dorm unsupervised.â
âI am La Chasseur dâAmour first, and Pomefioreâs Vice Housewarden second.â Rook firmly explained. âI have dedicated my life to the pursuit and defense of beauty. I cannot sit idly by when beauty is in danger like this! And so, I now depart to safeguard my friendâs exquisite face!â
âBut RookâŠâ Epel tried to catch his attention.
âHow are you even going to get there!?â Asteria finished for him.
âWorry not.â Rook comforted the freshmen, âFor I can envision where Vil and the others are.â
âEnvision?â Epel raised an eyebrow, âWhat in tarnation is that supposed to mean?â
Rook gave him no answer, âAlas as the sun sets I must painfully make my exit. I bid you good day! Adieu!â He gave them his farewells before rushing out before another word could be put in.
âWAITTT!â Epel called out, but it was simply too late âHe leftâŠâ Epel breathed out the truth. âThe Island of Woe is surely crawling with those guys who took Vil and the others. And Rook is flying straight into danger, surely he knows he canât handle all those guys by himselfâŠâ he then turned to Asteria, âWhat should we do? Tell a teacher? Or maybeâŠâ
âWe could follow him ourselves.â Asteria predicted his words. âWe could either stop him before itâs too late, or at the very least join him in his pursuit. Three people is better than one.â
âYou heard Professor Crewel.â Epel hissed, âHe told us we need to stay put⊠You know what?â His tone suddenly changed, âFORGET IT! We canât spend all day sitting and waiting like damsels in distress when we can contribute at least some extent! And I certainly ainât gonna sit back on the sidelines. Letâs go after Rook!â
Asteria chuckled, âNow you sound like yourself, the Epel I know would never want to sit still and look pretty while someone else gets the work done and its corresponding credit.â
The thoughts flashed through Asteriaâs head. The words Mickey told her and Helena when everyone was trying to search from Grim. Grim clinging to the bars of his cage begging to be let out. Helena lying on the debris filled floor in an unconscious state only to be abducted mere moments later. And even Ace and Deuce lying helplessly in hospital beds due to their injuries. Leaving unannounced would surely hurt others but it wouldnât matter to debate that now, not when Grim and Helena were in an unknown state.
âIâll make sure you arenât dead weight.â Epel placed a hand on Asteriaâs shoulder, âRegardless if your magic is any use, you got the spirit, and thatâs what matters. Night Raven College students like us donât take matters like these lying down! Come on Asteria, letâs show these guys what we got!â

He is very opinionated given he a doctor so often will make remarks that might sound mean but he actually just concerned. He cares deeply about others so much it always seems like he doesn't like anyone. He feels if he was kind on the surface no one would take his words seriously.
Fun Facts: Isbrand is always cold to the touch and gives off a chilly aura when near him. He prefers the cold since from part of Sinterra region where the land is 95% snow & ice. It's just his natural aura and most of the citizens from his land have same thing.
He is pretty much the most disliked prince among the ones in the Armonye dorm currently. Ivy and Nicholas are the only two who are very kind to him. The rest is obvious why they don't like his feedback on themselves. Genesis hates him with a passion but Isbrand shares the same feeling as their kingdoms have never gotten along. They are the hot & cold ones so it's expected.
Isbrand was dorm leader of Armonye since his first year and was very upset when Genesis became dorm leader while he was still present at the academy. Spent a month arguing with rsa headmaster that this was an awful decision but never could change his mind.
The rsa doctors & nurses often have to deal with his constant care of students without their knowledge at first but Isbrand at least has papers delivered to them about his treatments he has done so they can check up on the student. He is amazing at healing and they wish he could work for them.
His caretakers are trained spies from the Thorn kingdom that he uses to gather information secretly on various things Isbrand wants to know. Mainly on habits of students he is concerned about but also for personal reasons. This extends to nrc as well as has one disguised as a student there.
Often seen hanging out with Ivy who appreciates his advice and is a patient of his. Is attracted to him but isn't big on his public display of things via his work. Rather have such things private..or him.. They both were raised by older sisters a lot so share that in common. Isbrand highly respects women for this reason.
Has a lil weasel familiar named,Frost that nibbles on ice cubes & treats all day. Frost is so sweet and wiggles alot. Also is trained to fetch things discreetly if Isbrand tells her to.

I've had this character in my mind ever since I discovered Twisted Wonderland. She's the main OC and the descendent of the Wicked Witch of the West. Her name is Willow Thropp.
---------------------------------
Story: Long after the death of the Wicked Witch of the West, the people of Oz went on a witch hunt to wipe out the bloodline of the Wicked Witches of the East and West. Willow Thropp is a poor young girl who is the last of the bloodline, made clear because of her green skin. Ever since the death of her mother and grandmother, Willow had been surviving in the wilds of Oz, trying to survive. One night, a black carriage appears and when Willow wakes up, she find herself in Night Raven College and her magic sealed away. Mysteriously powerless and in another world, Willow is allowed to stay at NRC by Headmage Crowley and after a second run-in with the cat-like monster called Grim, Willow is made prefect of Ramshackle Dorm. As Willow's adventures in Twisted Wonderland, not only would her magic return, but she will discover that her family has a connection with this land that has long been forgotten. -----------------------------
Dorm:Â Ramshackle (Prefect), Freshman
Clubs:Â Newspaper Club
Likes: Studying, surviving, not being alone, magic, stories, having a roof over her head, learning about other lands and cultures, flying on her broom. Dislikes: Grim's ego, being persecuted, being alone, being made fun of, being powerless, loneliness, failing grades, her great-grandmother (The Wicked Witch of the West)
Trivia:
Her signature spell is called "Poppy Bloom." It causes Oz Poppies to bloom where she casts, sending her opponent into a deep slumber until she can move them or remove the poppies. She is immune to the poppy's sleep-inducing scent
Because of her spell, Rook refers to Willow as "Mademoiselle Coquelicot, " meaning "Miss Poppy Flower."Â
Since she was busy trying to survive since she was a child, Willow cherishes the opportunity to learn and go to school. This is one of the many things that make her the opposite of Grim.
Her best classes are potions and history. After she receives her ability to fly back, it has become her favorite thing to do in gym class.
Willow has a water allergy that has been passed down since her great-grandmother. While not as severe as the Wicked Witch's, it still makes water feel like weak acid.Â
When she arrived in Twisted Wonderland, Willow was malnourished and was placed under the care of one of the few female staff members and the school nurse, Gloria Morgana (Twisted Wonderland OC of Mother Gothel.)
Willow is an amalgamation of various versions of the Wicked Witch of the West including Elphaba Thropp from "Wicked."
Her dress is in a steampunk style. It is heavily inspired by the dresses from the "American McGee's Alice" games.

I've watched James Tullos' new video about the shitty worldbuilding in several YA series from the 2010s. I want to list off some of the dumb and nonsensical worldbuilding in TWST. Because while I love the game, the worldbuilding in this game is absolute dogshit.
(Keep in mind, just because I love this game doesn't mean that I think it's above criticism. Criticizing media I enjoy is another way that I engage with it and show appreciation, since it means that I want the game to do better.)
Why the fuck isn't being a mage the norm in the TWST universe like how it is in BNHA or ATLA? There are no negative stigmas against being a mage. The mages aren't isolated from the outside world in Harry Potter, making mage and non-mage marriages uncommon. So there's no fucking reason for it. You'd think being a mage would be a dominant trait passed down for generations thanks to it having an evolutionary advantage. To put into perspective how fucking bizarre this is when I mentioned the fact that only 1 out of 10 people in that world are mages on a Discord server I'm on, the other two people I was talking to were genuinely shocked. They thought that what I said was the truth thanks to it being the most logical. That's how stupid and illogical of a concept this is.
Why doesn't everyone know about overblotting and what that is? Magic is well known in this universe, so you'd think there would be plenty of instances of it happening in the past and it being public knowledge.
Why isn't there an in universe explanation for why people overblot? You think turning into a monster when you use up too much magic would have some some sort of explanation, but it doesn't.
Why doesn't everyone know about STYKs? They have modern level of tech, so you'd think word about that would get out by now.
Why is Briar Valley the fantasy equivalent to the Amish? They aren't blocked off from the rest of the world and still trade with other countries. Why the lack of technology?
Why does magic seem like a part of the environment where people can sense it? How the fuck does that even work?
How is Rollo able to rip magic out of people? People in this universe seem to be born with magic, so wouldn't that be like ripping out someone's heart or brain?
Why is Malleus completely gobsmacked by the fact that humans age and will eventually die? He lives with Silver, who is a fucking human, and should've learnt about this years ago!
Why aren't the fae courts, changelings, the tithe, etc a thing? The fae are known for being morally grey or downright nasty. They punished people for small transgressions (like in Beauty and the Beast). They stole people away to their courts forever to be a servant, pet, wet nurse or even husband/bride. In some myths, they would human sacrifice people every 7 years to fulfill a tithe. Iron is the biggest weakness to them. (The fae from The Folk of Air series by Holly Black are a fantastic example of them.) There's none of that in TWST. While I don't expect the game to add in the human sacrificing and other dark shit, things like the weaknesses to iron and the courts should be.
Why isn't Lilia more fae like? While I can understand Silver, Sebek and to an extent Malleus to lack these traits, Lilia doesn't have an excuse. He's a several hundred year old fae!
Why are a lot of the beastmen automatically put in Savanaclaw? Same goes for Merfolk in Octanivelle and fae with Diasomnia? Shouldn't all of this all determined by personality instead of what fantasy race someone is? (Yes, I know there are a couple exceptions like a beastman being in Heartslabyul, for example. But they are just that, exceptions. All of this should be determined by personality in the first place.)
Why aren't there female faculty and staff at Night Raven? Wouldn't that be grounds for Crowley and even Azul to be sued? All boys schools still have female teachers and staff IRL, so the same should go for NRC.
Why are there hardly any place or city names in the game?
