Dance performance and delicately constructed skirts, flowing lines and ballet slippers for Chika Kisada a/w 2023. Runway photos by Chika Kisada via vogue.com
Ever since founding her label in 2014, Japanese designer Chika Kisada has drawn on her background as a dancer to combine ballet esprit with punk spirit. This season, after working closely with the ballet dancer Haruo Niyama has inspired her view on gender, the models floating down the runway transcend the ideas of masculine and feminine, wearing suit jackets draped over delicately constructed bustiers, glittering shirts and flowing trousers, rustling heaps of skirts, jeans and stockings, and the omnipresent ballet slippers. And all the while, Niyama dances behind a translucent curtain, a Kisada-clad shadow. Watch the show.

Class Clown Part 5
Hey guys, I'm back home so I decided to post part 5 of Class Clown finally. I hope you guys like it!! Thank you for all the support, and don't forget to send both feedback, and requests, whether you send an ask or a message, I'll get to it. Want to read it from the beginning? I just posted my master list on my page, it’s in the description as well. Thank you!! xx
part 4
TaehyungxReader Fluff, angst Warning: mentions of alcoholism, abuse, etc.
Summary: Class Clown Taehyung has a lot more going on at home than anybody realizes, especially not you, the class Valedictorian.
Class goes by slowly for you. Knowing V was across the room from you, hating you. Of course you don't get a happy fairytale romance. You're a bookworm and he's one of the most popular, outgoing boys ever really. You did punch Jin pretty hard though, and you feel a smile creep onto your face as you look up and see he's not there. Coward. Class soon ends and you sluggishly pack up your stuff and start to walk out. As you step out you're grabbed by the hand and pulled behind the corner, dragged into an empty classroom. You hear the door shut and you whip around, face to V's chest.
His arms slide around you, collecting you into an embrace, your face blushing a light pink. One hand slides up to your face, gently cupping your cheek and tilting your face up, before his lips meet yours. Gentle, warm, but sudden.
"V—" you start, but he cuts you off with another kiss.
"Call me Taehyung," kiss, "or Tae.." another kiss. You feel a smile creep onto your face and you slide your arms around his neck, fingers trailing into his hair, and you feel him smile back against your lips. He pulls you closer against him, smiling and kissing. You feel like you're flying, with Taehyung's hand gently pressing on your lower back, his thumb caressing your cheek with the other hand, and his mouth exploring yours gingerly. He pulls away after a few moments of glory, and smiles pressing your foreheads together, both catching your breath softly.
"I'm sorry Y/N," He breaths, smiling sheepishly and gazing into your eyes, his own filled with admiration and elation.
"Don't be...Taehyung." You haven't said that name in years, yet it rolls off your tongue as easily as if you'd said it every day of your life. His smile grows into the boxy grin that you'd missed.
"I could listen to you say my name all day, every day," Taehyung grins and presses a kiss lightly against your nose. The bell rings signaling class start, and you wince. Second class you've skipped this month. Yikes.
"We're late for class, now what?" You smile and try to slow your heart rate.
"Mmm, let's see. Boy meets girl. Boy falls for girl. Girl eventually falls for boy. Boy gets girl alone in a classroom where they kiss. I think you get what I'm saying." Tae cocks his eyebrow and you panic hoping his mind isn't wandering where a normal teenage boy's mind would. "Kisses and cuddles and get to know you games!!!!" Tae grins clapping and sits down criss cross on the floor patting next to him, and leans against the wall. Relief floods you, and a grin falls onto your lips as you sit next to him. His arm slides around your shoulders, pulling you into his side. His head rests against yours, and his long, slender fingers trace designs down your arm. The two of you sit in silence for a moment.
"So you punched Jin?" Tae's voice vibrates against your cheek as you lean into him. You reach out for his other hand and hold it between your hands, tracing designs over his fingers and palm, and you feel him smile against your head.
"Yeah. It felt good too." You smile, staring down at your hands.
"You broke his jaw and gave him a concussion." Your heart stops as Taehyung tells you the news.
"I did what?!!" Your mind floods with worries, will he press charges?! Is he actually okay?!! He's a jerk but he doesn't deserve to be physically distorted!! Tae chuckles from next to you, and you realize how tense you've gotten and how your hands tightened around his hand.
"Yup. The jerk's on bedrest till he gets better. I'm proud of you. Nobody's ever stood up for me before." Tae kisses your head and you start to relax again.
"Why would he..he's your best friend." You don't know how to articulate the thought, but he knows what you mean.
"Ah...Jin and I have always had an interesting friendship. I was the fun sidekick, the ice breaker, the harmless flirt. He was the main event, I warmed everybody up for him, and he'd slide in and get what he wanted. He's always been kinda insecure and socially awkward, but his looks ensured that everybody could fall for him. I'm attractive, but I guess next to him nobody ever really noticed me. Except you of course. But uh I suppose when he realized you didn't want him, maybe his looks weren't enough to get him everything. Truthfully I don't know. He's known I've liked you for God knows how long. But we'll get through it. Don't you worry." He pauses for a moment, thinking. "But if he ever lays a finger on my angel again, his jaw won't be the only thing he breaks." Taehyung tightens his arm around you keeping you against him. You can't push the smile off your face, knowing you were his angel, and knowing he would fight for you next time.
 Tae's POV
I hold Y/N against my side. She's warm, and she smells good. I turn my head, kissing her head, and I close my eyes breathing in her smell. I never want today to end. We've been in here for 3 class periods, and I know she must be dying of guilt. We can call her in sick and make an excuse for her later. I don't know how much better my life could get. I have the girl of my dreams literally in my arms, dad cleaned up and got a job, and I've never seen Kookie happier. I feel a lot less stressed, I don't have to work every Saturday and Sunday at the gas station and the mall, and the grocery store, or collect more welfare checks. Dad can finally take care of us. Maybe someday we can move back into a better house. Our current house is pretty small. Sometimes I'll give one of my paychecks to Kookie so he can buy plants and trees for outside. He keeps it looking quaint and alive. Maybe now I can afford college too, and maybe Y/N really can help me get my grades up from C's and F's to B's.
"Taehyung?" Y/N's voice draws me from my oblivion, and I get a little thrill at the sound of my name. That name reminded me of the little boy who lost everything in four months, his mom, his house, and his dad. But now, it reminds me of the young man who won back his life, and was happier than ever.
"Yeah angel?" I hope she likes the name, I could call her anything. From her beautiful name that I absolutely love, to angel, to princess, whatever makes her happiest.
 "Why do you like me?"
Is she serious? Why wouldn't I like her?  "Well, settle in, I could go on for a while. Minutes, hours, days...let's start with looks. That smile. Oh god that smile. Whenever you smile, it's like the birds are singing and the angels are among us. It's like a breath of fresh air. When I see you smile, it's like I know everything is gonna be okay. That smile of yours got me through a lot." I pause, wondering if I should tell her. Sometimes, when I got hit, I'd close my eyes and imagine her smile, and know I could make it another day just to see that smile. When I fell asleep, Kookie crying next to me, I'd close my eyes and imagine that smile, knowing I had that to look forward to. I don't tell her this. I don't want her to pity me, or decide I'm too clingy or something. Maybe someday.
 Your POV
"And your eyes. I could stare into them forever. They transcend time and space, and make me forget who I am. They sparkle so beautifully. They light up when you get the question right, and when you laugh. Oh your laugh. It's like music. It's like...oh I don't know Y/N, it's just so wonderful. Your skin," his hand that was previously tracing your arm slides up and gently caresses your cheek with his thumb, "Your hair," he twirls your hair between his fingers now, "your lips.." he tilts your face up to his, and meets you in a gentle kiss before pulling away with a smile, and his hand returns to tracing your arm. "That's only the beginning. You're so smart, you're so fun, you're so sweet, you're so..you're so you. I..I really really like you Y/N..I hope you know." Wow. All that..wow. He was so poetic, and yet he can't write an English paper. You cringe that that was your first thought after all that. He's so sweet, and your heart feels like it's going to pound out of your chest. He smells so good, like cologne and a spring day. He's so strong, but not overbearingly so. You lean back against his body, as he traces your arm, making you forget how to speak.
"Y/N?" Tae's voice rings in your ears.
"Oh y-yeah sorry." You pause, not knowing what to say, having this been your first time hearing all that from a boy. "That was..the sweetest thing I've ever been told. I..I really like you too Taehyung. And I want this to last. And I want you to know I would never use you, or hurt you." You say, meaning every word.  "I know."
The two of you spend the rest of the day there, Tae sneaking out and army crawling down the hallway, making you laugh as he ninja maneuvers down the hall to get you two snacks from the vending machines. You've made a blanket from your jackets and pillows from your backpacks, and Tae logged into the computer and pulls up a starry sky on the projector for the two of you. He plays nature sounds from his phone, claiming he wanted to give you two a romantic night out together. How cheesy. As the final bell of the day rings, you lay snuggled up against his side, not wanting to move. Tae groans knowing you two need to leave before you get caught by some club or janitor or something. He rolls over, kissing your head gently.
"Y/N, we need to go." Tae smiles seeing your stubborn face and you groan. "But I can walk you home and we can have a study date. And then we can have another study date tomorrow. And every day this week. And then Friday I can take you out on a proper date, without Jin's hijinks." He smiles and you feel your heart flutter at the promise of tomorrow, and the promise of long term with him.
 "I'd love that."
 Tae's POV:
I walk Y/N home, hand in hand. I can see people staring at us as we walk out. Probably wondering how an idiot like me could get some mature, smart, beauty queen like her. I'm wondering the same thing honestly. Her hand is small in mine, and I love the feeling of it. I feel like I'm taking care of her. Like I'm capable of taking care of her. As we walk, I make jokes, and listen to her gorgeous laugh. I'm not doing my usual comedy routine, designed for immature boys and girls, now I'm genuinely making witty comments and I love how her hand tightens around mine as she laughs. I feel accomplished. I feel happy. For once in a long time I feel carefree. I study Y/N as we walk. Her hair blows lightly in the breeze, the color of her hair glowing, making a soft halo around her in the light. My sweet angel. She smiles and looks forward as we walk, studying everything, as I study her in return. I study her profile, from her eyelashes, to her lips, to every inch of her perfect body. I know a lot of girls get insecure, but I really hope she doesn't. Everything about her is so..beautiful. I would say she's perfect, but we all know nobody is. But she's as close to perfect you can get in my eyes.
We go in and I greet her mother before we go upstairs to work. She helps me with our English essay, her hand gracefully whipping though papers, and her eyes seeming to read a hundred words a second. Her lips softly mouth the words as she reads, occasionally stopping and marking something. I don't even care that she's marking mistakes, I enjoy every second of it. She can feel me staring and she smiles lightly patting my cheek.
"Study your work first, then me!" Y/N laughs and hands back the paper. I shake my head smiling and we continue like that for another couple hours. She hands me back my paper again, but instead of reading it I toss it off the bed, and put my arms around her waist pulling her closer to me and prop her against the headboard of the bed. I then snuggle down against her pillows, leaning my head against her side and stomach. She glances towards the door and hesitantly puts her hand on my head, lightly stroking my hair and massaging. Boy, does it feel good. I wish she could do this all the time. I've dreamt of her and I being a couple, and doing these couple things for a year now, but is it too soon to say I'm in love?
 Your POV:
Taehyung is so cute. With his head against your side, you can feel him smiling. As you gently run your fingers through his hair, and massage his scalp, you can hear him making quiet "mmm's" and you giggle a little at the whole situation. Him, you, everything. He's honestly the kind of guy you see in movies. Sweet, seemingly perfect, the whole deal. You could definitely see yourself with him long term. Tae starts to feel heavy against your side, and his breath gets slower and deeper. You're kinda confused and you lean down looking at him and see he's fallen asleep on you. You smile, knowing this little lovesick puppy is all yours. You keep massaging his head and letting him sleep for another 45 minutes, playing on your phone as you do so before you check the time. 8:30. You slide your hand down and gently shake his shoulder and he grumbles into your side rolling over and wraps his other arm around your waist burying his face in your stomach. You subconsciously suck in trying to seem skinner and he looks up, glaring.
"What was that?" Tae glares at you.
"What?" You ask, hoping he didn't notice.
"You sucked in!" He sits up.
"Yeah.." you look away sheepishly, and he grabs your face gently, a hand on each cheek, his face inches from yours.
"Y/N, you are beautiful. Every part of you. From here," he touches your stomach, "to here." He puts his hand back on your face and kisses you gently before pulling away to look at the clock, and he sighs getting up off the bed stretching. "I probably should go." He picks up his stuff and tosses his backpack over his shoulder and looks at you expectantly.
"Oh! Yeah I'm coming." You grin and get up walking him out. He closes the front door behind you and holds your hands.
"Tomorrow?" Tae smiles hopefully at you, his auburn hair shining in the moonlight.
"Tomorrow." You promise. He leans down kissing you lightly before he walks off down the sidewalk. You see movement out of the corner of your eye and see your mom hastily walking away from where she stood peeking from behind the curtains.
Tae's POV:  I walk away from Y/N's house down the sidewalk towards mine, a smile remaining on my face. The warmth of her lips on mine a final memory of our sweet night. I truly lucked out with her. I think I'll forever be grateful that she gave me a chance. I guess I owe it to Mrs. Stone for asking her to tutor me. I'll thank her at our wedding. After a 15 minute walk, my mind swimming with memories of how her hand felt and how she smelled, I open the door to our house. It's so alive, the tv is on, I smell food cooking, and see Kookie studying at the kitchen table. He looks up at me and grins.
"Dad! Taehyung's home!" He grins and puts his pencil down, and dad rounds the corner, and I feel like I'm a kid again. He has an apron on over his suit, his shirt sleeves rolled up to his elbows, his dark hair starting to loose its hold in its quiff, a few hairs hanging over his forehead. Jungkook takes a lot after him, and he's lucky, they're both handsome men.
"Taehyung! Where were you?" He smiles, leaning against the wall.
"Studying." I say and toss my backpack on the floor walking in and grabbing an apple, I toss it in the air about to catch it when my dad catches it first, making me laugh. I sit at the table and talk with Jungkook and my dad about my day, carefully maneuvering around the fact that I skipped 6 classes, and sat on a girl’s bed for 4ish hours. We eat dinner before I go to my room, leaning on the door frame and listening to the sounds of our thriving home. I smile to myself and shower up, getting ready for bed. As I lay in bed, Y/N filling every thought, my phone chimes. Must be Y/N wishing me goodnight.
From: Jin
