Kael'thas: Hey, I thought you were cool. I thought you and the others stayed at Tempest Keep to be evil with me. This is our best excuse, our one chance to be baddies and get away with it! You don't want to enjoy that?

Trixany: Well. I did throw a bunch of eggs at Khadgar's roaming arcane servitor the other day, when you ordered us to raid Shatthrath. I hated that long-ass quest--who subjects people to that!! It was so selfish of him, and it was boring!

Kael'thas: Ah, you see? Well done, Tempest Raven!

Trixany: OooOoohhh and I bet your name is Setback McGee.

Kael'thas: That doesn't even make sense.

Trixany: Don't worry, Kael. It will one day.

Over the expacs, what’s been your favourite raid or dungeon bosses?

Hey, Anon! Sorry this took so long, but I wanted to give this some real thought. So I've never been much of a raider. I just didn't find it too exciting to treat WoW like a part-time job. I dabbled in Vanilla, but never did anything after Zul'Gurub. There was a bit in late BC when my small guild and another one joined forces to run Karazhan for awhile (I don't know that we ever got as farther than chess). But it wasn't til the introduced LFR that I ever saw raids while they were new with any real frequency (I know, I am a filthy casual). My endgame has usually been more PvP and alts. But! That leaves a zillion dungeons and the raid experiences I have had so let's see…

When I think of dungeons in Vanilla, I think of Blackrock Spire. I have a great fondness for General Drakkisath in UBRS, for having someone kite him all over the place. And the Beast! Taking the punt from the Beast. Eventually getting the Chromatic Carapace and starting down that road. Those were really fun times. But also Bal'nazaar in Strat, which was a really fun surprise and also, uh, something I actually have a screenshot of. :)

In BC, it's all about the Blackheart the Inciter fight in Shadow Labyrinth. "Slaughter yourselves for my amusement!" That was a wacky one, especially the first time you saw it. It was also cool, as a non-raider, to get to fight Kaelthas in Magister's Terrace. But also, in Auchenai Crypts, Shirrak the Dead Watcher. The first time you came to that bridge and saw that guy, that was memorable.

Wrath is really hard to pin down. I'm actually really partial to Utgarde Keep. But it kinda has to be the Lich King chasing you out of Halls of Reflection. That was such a tense encounter. Unsurprisingly, I don't have any screenshots. But, looking through my screenshots, I just found out we did Naxxramus in 2009! I have no memory of this!

Who knew?? I bet the same friend who made us an alliance with a bigger guild to do Kara was behind this, but I completely forgot about it.

First boss that comes to mind in Cataclysm is in the Stonecore, your friend and mine, Ozruk. Like many of you, I am certain, the first time he yelled "Break yourselves upon my body!" my group cracked up laughing. I think we might have even wiped from laughing too hard. He's got a great song, too! But for Cata, it has to be Deathwing. The fight on his back is probably the most memorable instance fight in the expansion, for good or ill.

Mists actually has a whole lot of my favorite dungeon and raid bosses. Stormstout Brewery was pretty unique, with the Ook Ook fight being pretty great. I liked the Sha of Fear fight, with the teleporting to different platforms and all. The Paragons in Siege of Orgrimmar are memorable. I did so much for those bastards. Having to fight them all was mean. I think the Thunder King raid is one of the best raids of all time, top to bottom, and the Thunder King himself was a really cool fight.

Warlords is actually harder to remember. Nitrogg Thundertower on the Grimrail Depot train was really cool. I remember hating basically every minute of the Everbloom... Ner'zhul in Shadowmoon Burial Grounds had good atmosphere. I enjoyed Highmaul, but did not like that final raid at all, nor the remake of my beloved UBRS. Oh, High Sage Vyrix, that was a cool fight. Man. That Archimonde fight. I swear, it took like 15 tries in LFR. I never went back after we finally won.

I've expressed my complicated feelings about Legion before, but it had some fun dungeons. The fight in the dark in Vault of the Wardens was really cool. Maw of Souls' fight with Freyja was cool, tearing up the back of that boat. But not a whole lost stands out to me, dungeon & raid wise.

BfA. I liked the Ghuun fight. The Azshara fight, and also the swimming one with the big eel. That whole final raid was pretty interesting, with a good final battle. Some cool things in there. But the best was Lord and Lady Waycrest in Waycrest Manor, with the big pipe organ. That was cool.

In Shadowlands, I liked almost everything in the first raid. Some really fun things in there, and Denathrius especially. The Tarragrue fight in the 2nd raid was really fun with the anima powers. And the Eye of The Jailer fight making you grapple across that gap was fun.

I have weirdly very few memories of Dragonflight dungeons & raids, apart from fighting Fyrakk over and over trying to get that damn axe. My RNG is legendarily bad. 11 tries and nothing yet. I don't think I played dungeons too much after the first couple of months, and didn't get too into the first 2 raids. Think I did them once each. Honestly, Dragonflight has found me playing alts harder than ever, so between that and PVP, I've done a lot fewer instances. But I do like that they incorporated dragonriding into one dungeon and the 2nd to last fight in Amirdrassil.

And that is my long, long answer. I'm sure I'll remember something I should've mentioned as soon as I hit post. Thanks for the ask!

Call me dumb but I grew up wanting to be a proper parent- so they- my kids didn’t end up like me. Now I got 4 kids with 4 different women.” He sighed. “But. . . My hopes and dream is to fix that. I - haven’t. . . Been the best father. I know throwing gold to their mothers or care taker isn’t exactly a proper parent but- I haven’t taken the ritual of balance. I don’t want to go feral in front of them.” He sighed rubbing his temples. “My oldest. Vim, yeah. Vim I called him. He was scared- I killed some forsaken in front of him. I. . . I was like a monster in his story books. . No father wants that. I just. “ his head momentarily dips in the ice bath, bubbles forming as despite being underwater- his frustrated scream can be heard. Head emerging moments later. “I just hope to see my kid. . Kids again. And I dream that I can properly help them grow. So they don’t end up like me.”

“I think. . . Yeah I think it’s best if I do this properly. But a secret I hold over someone. I hold a lot over a lot of people. Some darker than others but. I suppose I owe an explanation why the of the three remaining original four winds members. The fourth wind being dead- we’ll talk about dearest Thyenna.” He says simply. Reaching behind him as he lit a joint. Looked at hit. Face souring, and sighing as he put it back on its plate. Instead, choosing to take a handful of a four winds stable, Gummy Furbolgs. “She used to be a Fel addict. Joined kaelthas in outlands blah blah. A Royal bitch of a blood knight was it? Went through a process to become a Paladin. Tried to sleep with Drii but failed and one of her friends did instead: FUCKING FUNNY. Heh. Ok. Besides the point besides the point. So. We were drunk one night- no we didn’t fuck. She’s castrate me of crush my balls with a hammer of righteousness.” His grin is there, knowing and smug. “She has a trampstamp reading Four Winds Sailing Slut.” He barks out laughter. “And and- oh sweet baby titan. It gets better- it gets fucking better. She was so down bad for Drii did you know stuck up, Royal bitch, Thyenna. Wore a pretty birthday crown and and two stickers with the The symbol of Shattarah. And a purple thong. And gave my mate a lap dance?? I would kill for- she thinks no one knows. But ha! I just wish I had photos.” He snorts and begins cracking up.

He does go silent as he reads the last question, scratching the back of his head in contemplation. “Fuck. That’s- fuck that’s cruel. First you say: For WILL, I can practically read how angry it is you know.” He grumbled, splashing some cold water on his face- dark skin tinging a hue darker as he blushed in thought. “Mmmmh fuck. Ok. I’m not a frat!” He shouted to himself. “I stand on my thought on love- it should be passionate, burning, driving one mad. Communication- it’s a partnership. Let me love you, telll me how, lift me up, hold me down. Love changes, but it grows. It’s- “ he growls for a moment. Frustration seeming to build in him. “There’s someone who drives me crazy. No names cause it’s not my move to say it- when it’s kind of a poorly kept secret regardless. It’s not your shape, not your size, not your curves, not your thighs, not your lips, not your eyes. . . It’s your soul and everything inside. I- I’m not trying to pressure you, I just can’t keep thinking about you. Like- that drives me crazy, and it’s almost as painful as this stupid affliction because of it!” He leans his head back, staring at the ceiling in anger, confusion, and just to cement himself as a mess in his thoughts he pops the top off a bottle and takes a swig. “God she’s probably tired of my shit. . . Sorry jiro. . .” He blinks, a slip of his tongue yet he quickly raises himself to stand, not caring if he exposed himself to the camera- he threw the bottle. Rune on his bodies glowing as with the throwing motions, an axe pulls itself out with the motion as he hurls it as well.

[The sound of glass crashing and the axe hitting the screen causes the video to end- black screen and static]

Warcraft for the blorbo fandom asks?

oh BOY here we go -- blorbo (favorite character, character I think about the most) my blorbo is probably kaelthas. i have a poster of him in behind my work set-up. he brought me out of the closet a lot and gave me something to sort of strive for when i was a teenager. i cried REAL FUCKING TEARS when the announced he'd be back in shadowlands. he's always been my blorbo and i would protect him with my life and tell you up and down that he's the best despite the fact in WoW he's been nothing but an aggressive wet cat. -- scrunkly (my “baby”, character that gives me cuteness aggression, character that is So Shaped) talanji......... she is SO shaped. i named my pet rat (may her soul rest in peace) after her because they are both just so. them. i love her very much and i love her spiritedness. the way she takes charge in BFA from being sort of this timid daughter unsure of her place to then turn into a full fledged leader that takes no shits??? it's PRICELESS. i love her outfit, personality, and i'd protect her also tooth and nail. -- scrimblo bimblo (underrated/underappreciated fave) XAVIUS MAN. XAVIUS!!!! like ok.... he got that whole thing in legion and i know that he's got a lot in the books but compared to the attention that he only briefly got in legion i REALLY REALLY wish he got more. there was so much potential to learn more about satyrs from him even if he just did evil monologing but this is coming from someone who REALLY loves satyrs and would probably sacrifice a vertebrae to see more of ANY of them. -- glup shitto (obscure fave, character that can appear in the background for 0.2 seconds and I won’t shut up about it for a week) rommath. i got so happy seeing him at the end of nighthold lol. i love seeing him any time i go by in silvermoon. if i am on a call playing with my friends i WILL make a big deal about seeing him and calling him a puppy with a cone of shame. i think he eats kibble from there he just saves it for later <3 -- poor little meow meow (“problematic”/unpopular/controversial/otherwise pathetic fave) probably denathrius. he's pathetic. i know he's pathetic. i love that he is. this bitch DOES have insecurity issues. i KNOW he does. there is no other reason to throw such a tantrum like he did about "being revendreth". BITCH you WISH you had all the attention!!! sadly, i know i would give it to him. however it would be tormenting attention. he would love to hate me. -- horse plinko (character I would torment for fun, for whatever reason) anduin probably. i don't hate him like at all but to say i wouldn't endless pick on him for being the blonde haired blue eyed baby boy prince would be an understatement. he looks tormentable. like i could steal the last slice of cake and all he could do is just look disgruntled at me. i know what i did. i know he hates it. i'll keep doing it tho, he won't say shit. -- eeby deeby (character I would send to superhell) THIS ONE IS TOUGH. so. i think i would say arthas. i just don't like hearing about him. i hate what he did to jaina. i hate what he did to slyvanas. i just DO NOT like his fans because you know if some dude has a lich king tattoo you're in for a mouthful of how arthas is redeemable and he's not the lich king but yadda yadda so on and for forward. he's a compelling villain, but not so much a compelling character for me and i'd do anything to stop hearing people and blizzard try to highlight on him so much. i just want to move on from arthas please!!!!!

1 of the best parts of sticking with a piece of media/its fandom for a decade is watching your own evolution through how you interpret the characters and their dynamics with each other. like for example i have a vastly different takeaway from illidan/kaelthas than i did when i was 15 and if i put a magnifying glass over that i can definitely see how my own experiences and history have come to shade my interpretation of media and, consequently, ~*shipping*~

thoughts on the new shadowlands models of sylvanas, kaelthas ysera (she still has an armor bikini!!!) and others?

Okay, look, apparently I am a bastion of unpopular opinions about Shadowlands (hue hue hue), but I absolutely adore Sylvanas’ new model. I love her face (it looks much closer to her HD face, and much more delicate and prettier, and she finally resembles her sisters), I love the cool palette for it, and I think it will make her glowing red eyes stand out much more!

Look, I’m happy to see Ysera’s model because it means she’ll be back in the game. I love her and generally fucking cried real tears when she died - not only for her but for Alexstrasza who loved her dearly and pretty much lost everyone she ever loved. Ysera’s humanoid model is like.......... exactly the same 90s hornboy design. Her dragon model is beautiful though, I love the new colours in it. 

Kael’thas is pretty even in death, lmao. I love his ‘chained to his own headstone’ chic. 

Someone pointed out that the Naga was Vashj (I didn’t recognise her!!) and I like Vashj as a character so I’m super interested to see what they do with her. The bone tail is creepy as fuck (and also, like, bothers me anatomically because rather than being gaint bones, naga tails would be long rib-cage-like structures BUT WHATEVER IT’S FANTASY). 

Anyway I’m excited about Shadowlands. 

Two of the writers on twitter have strongly hinted that Matthias/Flynn is going to be a thing, and also that there is more gay rep in general in Shadowlands so I’m excited to see how that plays out.

ESO- Fennorian, my first real TES crush! He is my Ideal Boyfriend and I know it's a bit ridiculous how I started liking him instantly, but he's such an adorable dude that I want to romance so so badly. And like not to vague but he 👏 is 👏 trying 👏 his 👏 best 👏 at 👏 healing!!!!!!! 👏

Amnesia: Memories- Ukyo! Shin was what got me into Amnesia in the first place, but I'm picking Ukyo for this because he's right up there with Fennorian in terms of how ideal of a bf I find him (even if his split personality is a bit uh, murderous sometimes). And his voice is so cute, I swear.

Dragon Age 2- Fenris. It's the hair. And the voice. I also LOVE his banter and theme. The fact that he laughs at Purple!Hawke's jokes is so endearing hhhh

Promare- Lio Fotia. He's another Edgy Boy, his theme SLAPS, and his fashion sense? Impeccable.

Touken Ranbu- Ookurikara. I'm literally only in that fandom just for him, and I hate how so many people whitewash him in fanart ughhhh

PJO- Nico di Angelo. I didn't really have a crush on him unlike the previous guys I listed, but I love this guy so much that I loosely based Jackson off of him.

Skyrim- Serana. I loved playing Dawnguard with her as Jackson since they share a lot in common?? Instant bonding over shitty parents forcing them into their agendas, and I feel like their personalities blend together as well! Not to mention I also have Ariyura who romances her lol

Undertale- Chara! I never liked seeing the fandom depict them as an Evil Murder Child. I think they deserve WAY better than that, and I love the Narrator!Chara theory so much...

The Last of Us- Ellie. Lesbian icon, I can't wait to see her in the next game.

Always Human- Sunati! AH was a very special comic to me back when I was in the WLW community, and seeing her develop her relationship with Austen was so cute and empowering when I was first trying to fit in as a lil queer kid.

Lazarius does have a habit of over indulgence when it comes to wine.  Cindervine Red to be exact.  There have been some stories that have referred to why this particular brand of wine is his favorite but it stems back to the early days of the Original Nine.  The brothers Xas and Sevath Cindervine were two members of the council that served along Raelyndia as her twin infiltrators.  During the second war, Xas was sent across the Dark Portal posing as an elite sunguard to Kaelthas Sunstrider.  It was her plan to get as much information from the other side of the portal as possible.  Xas was ultimately lost there, and was recruited by the Illidari.  Sevath was later sent through the portal to find his brother since Raelyndia had lost contact.  Both were never seen again.  Point being.  The Cindervine brothers and their house made the most wonderful wine.  And since their vineyard was lost, and the substance no longer made.  Lazarius keeps the remaining stores safely guarded.  Someday he will run out, or they will expire and will be lost.  But for now; he drinks it as a memory to his former allies and because it is delicious.

I'm not sure if it is a habit but he tends to observe.  What i mean by that is he spends a tremendous amount of time watching people when he is in the city.  He watches their patterns, their mannerisms, how they shift their body weight when they talk.  He watches where they go and what they do, and how they act with strangers and friends.  It is not everyone, he isn't a stalker; but when he is potentially seeking to begin a relationship with a new person he does do his research and learn a bit about them; so he does have the upper hand in conversation.

Augmentation.  Lazarius continues to perfect his N’raqi form.  It began with learning how to sprout tendrils and void arms, to full tentacles, to more and more and more.  He has not yet learned to control it, that much is evident when he nearly killed his sister in Uldum.  But he is attempting to learn more and more through experimentation and self augmentation.  His parasitic being still unveils mysteries to him even today.  So a lot of his time is spent trying new spells and abilities, like making mini dark holes and trying to rip a hole through the universe! :D
