Buck 🥰
Gerrard 🤢
Excuse me, that is not Buck’s job, you can’t ask him to choose someone to fire, are you out of your mind?
Love Athena not liking the houses lol
“I’ll know it when I see it”
Bleh, Ortiz for Mayor 🤢
“Who loves being a public servant?”
Everyone reluctantly rasing their hands lol
“Love the enthusiasm” what do you mean Gerrard, you’ve made the firehouse such a lovely place to work
Body cams??
Mama: “bet I know who put the order for that”
Why do you keep saying tight end?
Don’t call him 🥺 Wes needs a hug
Oh Eddie 😭
Wes no!! 😭
Wes you better not die!!! It’s not allowed!!!
I genuinely have no thoughts during this ambulance ride other than aaaaaaaahhhhh
The way Eddie cheers then the soft “you’re gonna be okay kid,” after he called him Dad 😭
“Hell of a save”
“And you got us here”
Love when they all cheer each other
Hen’s speech 😭
But also don’t name drop her girl, that’s such a risk in court
The look of devastation on Karen’s face
Noooo 💔💔💔
No contact why???
This judge sucks
“911 what’s you’re emergency” love Maddie
Also this totally took me out of the scene for a sec, is there something on Maddie’s nose, does she have a nose piercing?
Am I seeing things?
Anyways I’m gonna fight Ortiz and this judge whatever her name is
“I don’t want another house, I want my house” 🥺
Aww Michael name drop

Hen at Ortiz’s office 😭
“I’m expected to go on, maybe young Mara will have to learn to do the same”
Bitch
“He is not my captain you are my captain”
Yes Hen!!
Love them all coming to Bobby
Bobby’s face when Buck said Gerrard was touching him
Cue the “No, my boy” audio bit
At least we learned that Eddie’s having regular zooms with Chris, even if he’s not talking much in them
Chimney talking about Gerrard’s Ego feels important, they’re gonna use that against him aren’t they?
That’s mean Chimney (his comment about Buck not Gerrard - say all the mean things about Gerrard Chim)
“I wouldn’t call it an attack”
As the nurse is putting bandages all over him 🤣
DUDE
“He wasn’t 400 pounds when I got him, he was an adorable cub”
My mama “well guess what dumbass they get bigger”
“Where’d you learn to do that?”
“I have layers” 🤣

Mama: “Surprise!”
No pets
Yeah, wild tigers would fall under that policy, wouldn’t they?
Hen & Chim being separated + Buck & Eddie being separated feels wrong but I love when Buck & Hen get to work together, love the looks they share
“Not so loud the rest of the team thinks it’s an essemble”
“He’s the voice of god around here”

Wanna shake Wes’s dad
Gerrard going to Ortiz after talking to Bobby, Bobby charmed… (well maybe Brad did lol) him, didn’t he?
“You know Vincent, we’re a lot alike,”
My mama “jackasses?”
22 million budget reductions for the LAFD seems like a lot
Like for the FD specifically
You’d think you’d want them funded in particular
Excuse me sir
Is there a reason you called her Miss?
Mama: “Oh did the other jackass help? Now I feel bad”
Me: “Don’t feel bad, he’s still a jackass”
“This is a set up”

Francis Drake Main Story
Translations may not always capture the exact nuances or tone of the original text. Expect grammatical errors.
The woman behind the door was just an ordinary woman.
(Heh? She's got nice eyes.)
Drake: "I'm Francis. Francis Drake."
Drake: "I just stumbled into this place out of nowhere and have no idea what's going on, so there's no need to be scared, little fawn."
The woman who introduced herself as Mitsuki was trembling like a cornered animal in my arms.
Nevertheless, her gaze as she looked up with determination wasn't all that bad.
Drake: "Haha! Being caught and surrounded like this reminds me of when I was ambushed at sea."
I laughed at my miserable situation as they tied me up with a rope.
When I was still a low-ranking officer on a pirate ship, I was tied up and almost thrown overboard after an altercation with an enemy ship.
Compared to that, being allowed to sit in a quality chair like this was far better treatment.
Drake: "Mademoiselle, sorry for pointing a knife at you earlier. I was on guard, so it just happened. Are you okay?"
Mitsuki: "Y-Yes, I'm fine."
The woman who had been trembling in my arms earlier blinked in surprise as I talked to her casually.
But...
Drake: "I promise not to harm you guys."
(There's no way they'd trust me even if I said that.)
Unlike the woman, there was a tense atmosphere among the men surrounding me.
(The ropes are tied tightly. They also took my knife, so untying them would be impossible.)
(Before that, if I make any suspicious moves, they might attack me first.)
A man with dark hair and a man with an eye patch on either side of me stood guard, as if they were watching over a prisoner.
Aside from the sword at their waist, their demeanor suggests they were used to fighting.
(In fact, that Napoleon guy is quite skilled.)
I glanced around at everyone present and noticed that there weren't many others used to fighting. However, the ones with golden and amber eyes caught my attention.
(Those two shouldn't be underestimated.)
My intuition told me so.
Napoleon: "Now that we've all calmed down, let me ask again."
Napoleon: "Who are you?"
Drake: "Okay. I guess I should start by introducing myself."
Drake: "I'm Francis Drake. Well, you could say I'm just a simple sailor."
Sebastian: "Francis Drake!?"
The man standing at the edge of the room, who looked like a servant, raised his voice.
Sebastian: "That famous Captain Drake!?"
Drake: "I don't know which 'that' you're referring to, but the 'Captain' part is correct."
Mitsuki: "Is this guy also a historical figure?"
Sebastian: "Yes. He's an English pirate who rose to the rank of navy admiral."
I was surprised that he knew so much, as he politely told me about my title and achievements.
Vincent: "So, he also crossed over time?"
Theo: "Just because he calls himself Francis Drake doesn't mean he's the real deal."
The man with the same piercing as the man with fluffy blond hair replied with expected skepticism.
Drake: "I can't argue with that."
As I pondered what to do next一
Mitsuki: "I think he's telling the truth."
Mitsuki: "He doesn't seem like he's lying, and it's also strange for someone to pretend to be a historical figure."
(Ooops? A backup support from an unexpected person.)
Drake: "Heh? You believe me, mademoiselle? That makes me happy."
Drake: "But is it okay to trust someone that easily?"
Mitsuki: "---?"
I casually said something to test her, partly because I wanted to be a little mean about her defenselessness and kindness.
(If she doesn't know how to doubt people, she probably has never been betrayed by anyone before.)
She probably lived a life free of conflict, intrigue, and deception.
Shakespeare: "I guarantee he is the real Sir Francis Drake."
Afterwards, the playwright Shakespeare served as a witness and finally confirmed my identity as Francis Drake.
Drake: "So, is this the lodging for Shakespeare's theater company or something? Are you all members of the troupe?"
Shakespeare: "No, Sir Drake, that is not the case."
Comte: "Will, let me take it from here."
The man with golden eyes approached me.
Comte: "Drake. This is neither a theater company nor England. Furthermore, to put it more clearly, we are in a different era."
Comte: "This is France in the 19th century."
Drake: "Ha?"
I looked at him, speechless and wide-eyed at what he just told me.
After that, he asked me how I came here, and when I told them that I'd walked alone through the hallway full of antiques, Count Saint-Germain frowned even more, and the other men looked confused.
Mitsuki: "Could it be that Drake, like me, also ended up here from his original time?"
Leonardo: "That's a possibility, but rather than being like you, it might be more accurate to say he's like Napoleon."
Napoleon: "Huh?"
Comte: "I can feel both a human and a vampire presence from you, Drake."
Mitsuki: "Are you saying he's like Napoleon? A half-vampire!?"
(Half...)
My own existence seemed to be causing a lot of confusion after they mentioned the topic of half-vampires.
As thoughts and speculations started spiraling out of control, I raised my hand to put a stop to it and bring everyone's attention back to me.
Drake: "Hold on."
Drake: "I can accept that this is the 19th century, but all this talk about resurrections and vampires is getting crazy. Can you at least tell me more about what's happening?"
Napoleon: "I understand how you feel."
Mitsuki: "Me too…"
The lady understood and felt the confusion I showed.
Mitsuki: "Comte, I think we need to explain the situation."
Mitsuki: "And since he doesn't have a place to go, why don't we let him stay at the mansion for a while?"
Drake: "........."
(It'd be inconvenient if I got thrown out like this. I need to play my cards right.)
(That young lady over there seems kind, huh?)
Although there were voices of caution coming from the men, they still undid the ropes and allowed me to stay in the mansion.
It was a fortunate turn of events.
Drake: "Anyway, sorry for the terrible first impression. I'll be in your care from now on, so let's all get along."
Mitsuki: "If there's anything I can do to help, please let me know."
Drake: "You..."
She wasn't scared anymore and was now genuinely smiling.
Drake: "You're really kind."
(I hope that kindness doesn't lead to your downfall, little fawn.)
On a night when a full moon was floating in the sky, I became a member of the mansion where vampires and "one girl" lived一without me believing in their smiles and words.

Ikemen Vampire Part 13 - Vlad Route
I am so so excited!! Vlad is so beautiful and I'm even more interested in him after le Comte's route, so yay!! Off to a great start with the beautiful CG tbh, it's so prettyyyy!! I don't even blame the heroine for being so attracted to Vlad's ethereal beauty that she's been trying to look for him ever since she saw him haha, especially since he gave her a huge bouquet of flowers, like who wouldn't swoon?! Vlad smiling is the sweetest thing ever, I die for his smile. It's so adorable how Vlad told the heroine to work for him one hour every day after she finishes her shopping, and he's just been taking her around and trying to cheer her up and play with her lol. He's so sweet. Legitt, how can you not fall for Vlad when he plays the violin, invites you to dance and have fun? He is an angel🥲 Omg Vlad can tell jokes, I am dead, he's so cute. And he's so thoughtful and I love how he gives her flowers always representing something meaningful.
The heroine really is always so reckless. I kinda wish they didn't reuse the trying to save Vincent's painting scenario again in this route but seeing Theo and Vincent so concerned over her was really sweet so it's okay. I find it so sweet how the guys were actually gossiping about the heroine getting close to a guy outside all this time and how they wanted to introduce themselves, and how nice it would be if this made her decide to stay with them in this world. They're so cute!! Which makes it all the more saddening that this person had to be Vlad. I can't imagine seeing the person I love so calmly deal with a person like a "wilted flower" and yet look the same as usual. But I can't bear to hate them, especially remembering how Charles asked the heroine to please not hate them😭 I'm glad Napoleon talked to the heroine and discussed whether they could really just write off Vlad as just "evil". When Vlad came and gave the heroine the single red rose, I couldn't help but soften my heart for him. Like, I've been taken by Vlad the first time I saw him, but seeing the pure and genuine person he is that keeps his promises regardless of what happens makes my heart so happy yet hurt so much. He's the one who had to see the desolate future, the one who experienced it first hand and know how it feels to be all alone in a world of nothingness, and it's just impossible for me to blame him for his actions knowing how "kind" he is.
The heroine is brave for jumping into that door with the warped space not knowing if she'll be able to arrive at where she wants to go or not. Kid Vlad is very cute. Considering how the girl in the portrait looked exactly like the heroine, I'm not surprised it was actually the her who time travelled to the past and thus completing the time paradox but I guess it does make a bit more sense as to why Vlad listens to her. It honestly breaks my heart to think about Vlad having to face the fate of his whole family and clan massacred by vampire hunters at such a young age. A child with no one to rely on anymore and no one to care for him, and yet despite everything, he still turned out so kind. I wanted to cry when Vlad thanked her for finding him (in the closet when his parents said they're playing hide and seek) and said he'll find her next time. If they make the heroine Vlad's reason for living all this time and to not hate humans but instead the crimes they commit, how an I supposed to happily do the other routes where she doesn't end up with him? 😭 But I guess considering how Vlad is, he'll probably be happy for the heroine as long as she's happy. Considering she was the one who saved him when he was a child, I guess it's understandable that Vlad would be more receptive towards her ideals and the future she wants because he's only living in this world because of her existence, so how can I really fault him for changing his goals because of her? And I guess seeing her again helped him think that he can believe in humans again since she has always been as kind as she used to be in his memory.
I spent my gems and got the premium story for chapter 24 and I really enjoyed seeing the heroine tell him she wanted them to live side by side together and protect the world together because she didn't want him alone to carry the burden as some sort of divine child or god that is deemed to protect this world, but she wants them both to protect this world because they love both humans and vampires and they want everyone to live happily, just like his original wish, and I couldn't help but feel touched by that. Life was so difficult for Vlad because he was always 'alone', so even though his wish was probably the same, the methods he decided on changed because he didn't believe in people like he could back then, so I'm glad he's found the heroine again. They can support each other. It was so funny how the guys basically had a round table discussion on where the heroine would stay lmao. One thing I really liked is that Vlad was the one to ask the heroine to become a vampire so they could spend eternity together. Usually, the guy finds it difficult or they hesitate because it's a life of torture but I love that Vlad has confidence that they'll love each other for eternity and knows the heroine feels the same so him asking her to become a vampire felt like a strong profession of love rather than a request that I would be scared for the heroine to accept. I believe in Vlad's love for her and I believe in her strength that no matter what happens, they'll be able to overcome it together. I wish we got a snippet of their vampire life though haha.
Overall, even though real life ended up interfering and I took a long break from this route, I have to say it didn't diminish my feelings for Vlad at all! I really liked Vlad and his route was good. I enjoyed how we got to see how kind Vlad was and how that kindness caused him to go down a path others didn't accept. I empathised with him and loved him understanding his choices even if it hurt many people. I think what I loved the most was seeing the young Vlad and how all along, he has been looking for the heroine and also waiting for her to find him. I loved how they both cherished each other as much as the other did and I liked how the her from the past and the her in the present saved him and gave him hope to believe in the kindness of humans again. I won't say the route was perfect, but everything that I didn't like, Vlad's personality and sweetness more than made up for.

Ribcage X Andy Biersack- Part 11
Masterlist
"There's one thing you should know about me Delia Vincent, I don't date. Got no heart to break and emptiness is safe, keep it that way."
He was adamant in his choices...
...But then things changed.
Not my GIF
"Okay Jinxx, I just need you to quickly play something on your violin to make sure the sound system is working. After that, if you guys could just go straight into Shadows Die I can adjust the violin accordingly." Delia explains as Jinxx stands tuning his violin before giving Delia a thumbs up to acknowledge he had heard what she had just said.
"Hey, I bought you a latte, extra caramel, the way I know you like it." Shevy grins walking into the sound booth where Delia was currently sat.
"Thanks Shevy, you're a lifesaver." Delia smiles back before gleefully accepting her coffee.
"So have you spoken to Andy today?" Shevy smirks slightly.
"Nope, he's still avoiding me." Delia shrugs trying to not care when in reality, she was anxiety and guilt ridden about the whole thing.
It had been a week since the whole Delia getting drunk and sharing a bed with Andy situation had occurred. Thankfully CC, Jinxx and Jake did not know about it, if they did they were keeping the jokes away from it all. In that week however, Andy had been avoiding Delia it seemed.
"I honestly do not understand him. He was eyeing you up the whole time we were at that club. Yes he was with some random women like always but even then he didn't seem too interested in her." Shevy explains trying to make sense of it all for her own sake, if not Delia's sake.
"Well he clearly isn't interested otherwise he would have spoken to me." Delia shrugs again trying to not let the conversation get to her.
"You like him, don't you?" Shevy asks gently; as much as she was trying to be a good friend to Delia, it was pretty clear that the pair of them had something going on, Andy was never normally this confusing about people.
"that's the issue Shev," Delia sighs before continuing "I don't like him, he's a complete asshole. I liked the version of him I saw the other night; where he actually gave a shit about someone who wasn't himself. We were actually laughing, he actually seemed happy, normal even."
"Yeah, I do feel like that guys wears a mask a lot to be the star the fans see him as." Shevy sighs slightly. "Maybe trust try and talk to him? Have you tried doing that?" Shevy suggests.
"You're kidding right? That's going to be super awkward. Plus he's always with the rest of the band anyway." Delia is clearly taken away from Shevy's suggestion, as logical as it same be.
"I'm just saying, next time the opportunity arises go for it." Shevy shrugs slightly "Anyway, I need to go get their show outfits ready so I'll see you later hun."
"Yeah no worries, see you in a bit." Delia smiles slightly.
Why did guys always have to be so confusing?
---------------
"Great show as always lads!" Shevy smiles as she walks into the backstage room everyone was sat in; everyone but Andy.
"Right so we ordered in pizza cause me and Shev completely forgot to pick up after show meals, hope you guys don't mind." Delia continues as she follows Shevy holding 5 different types of large pizza; one being vegan for Andy to enjoy. Yes it was also 5 pizzas for the 7 of them, CC and Jake had been known to basically inhale a large amount of food after a show; where the both of them put all that food Delia would never know.
"Any of you guys know where Andy's gone?" Shevy asks the rest of the band when she eventually also notices him missing.
"He's being a twat." Jinxx states simply.
"Okay, please do explain that one." Shevy rolls her eyes slightly; honestly she wasn't sure if she wanted to know the details, but the dude also needed to eat.
"The guy started vaping again the other day, god knows why after he's quit smoking for so long." Lonny explains whilst clearly being worried about his band mate.
"For fuck sake. Okay, well, at least it's not cigarettes I guess?" Shevy responds sounding slightly stressed. "Delia can you go and talk to him please? You might get through to him without him making it personal. If one of us goes to lecture him he'll go off on a tantrum."
"I'll try but I'm not exactly his favourite person ever." Delia laughs lightly before putting the pizzas down on the table. "Dig in guys, before it gets cold."
--------------
"Let me guess, you've got some sort of weird and funky flavoured thing that no one will ever remember the name of?" Delia asks trying to make a joke to lighten the mood slightly whilst also making Andy aware of her presence.
"It's menthol." He replies not even looking in her direction.
"And here I was hoping it would be some sort of funky flavour to laugh about." Delia smirks slightly- she was not sure where this confidence or lame humour was coming from but at least it was making her feel less awkward.
"What do you want Delia?" Andy kills Delia's mood by looking at her and talking in his signature monotone, that confidence lasted long didn't it just?
"I just came to tell you that we got food, you must be hungry." Delia explains awkwardly. "Also, the others kind of agreed between them that sending me out would make it less personal. They're all worried because you've starting smoking again."
"Honestly, I didn't expect to make it past 30 cause I used to smoke a pack a day and drink like a camel but here I am. I don't really care anymore." Andy tries to sound defensive but instead his words come out some what hurt sounding.
"Look, I know we don't see eye to eye, and I know things have been shit for you, but is it really worth potentially throwing everything?" Delia tries to reason with him. He seems vulnerable right now, maybe this is how she'll get through to him. "I know you're like this because of Juliet, is it really worth letting her win in this way?"
"Oh great. You just had to bring her into the fucking mix didn't you?" Andy snaps. "Look, you may think that you're this great person who can fix everything, but guess what? This is the real world and shit does not work like that even if you hope it does. You're so fucking stupid Delia. You know what, I don't care. When this tour is over I never want to see you again."
And just like that, Andy is storming off back inside. That could 100% have gone better, although it also could have gone much worse, right?

okay so I know we’ve caught up a bit but honestly, I feel like I don’t know much about how things have been with you lately and I feel bad low key :( because I’d really like to know about your life! so, what’s new with you? Doesn’t have to be anything big, but just, how’s life been lately? Are you on summer break? (I don’t know how things work outside of America </3) Have you seen any new movies or read any books or played any video games lately? This is an invitation to info dump about literally anything that interested you lately too btw :3
Omg hey bro so how you fix the problem is by messaging me /lh like if you just wanna talk about your and my life then you can message me asking and stuff, I have a friend on here and we literally just chat about our lives for like 4 hours at a time
ummmm so I went to sleep away camp or whatever ygs call it in the US for 3 weeks, its an Irish spoken one so you know I ate that up, volunteered for the youth club camp and lost a child at a theme park while doing so (we found him, he was fine) and got some horse riding back in cuz I missed out on like 5 weeks of training lol
With movies I haven't watched a whole lot cuz I've literally had like. No time. I'm seeing the Kneecap movie tomorrow with my bf which I'm very excited about and I'm gonna see I Saw The TV Glow on Monday with some friends even though it's showing kind of late at the cinema (7:45pm), tbh I'm going in completely blind with but people say it's good so I'm simply just going to watch it. I've also rewatched alot of matt damon movies because why wouldn't I? I'm still his number one fan, currently watching The Martian as we speak which I've never actually watched before, kind of disturbing but it's okay because again, it's matt damon!
What I said all those months ago about my partner will need to fight for me when it comes to matt damon? I still hold to it. Guess who my bf looks like 😐 you will never guess its totally unpredictable 😐
I have readdd The Twelfth Day of July by Joan Lingard, it's a book about this guy and girl and the guy is a cath and the girl is a protestant and how they hate eachother and its really good, I love it a lot. I also read all of Diane Olivers short stories while at irish camp, they're really good and I totally reccomend her stuff, I think you would like some of her more scary short stories, a lot of her stuff is unpublished though cuz she was died at age 22 and she really needs more recognition, like when I looked up her most famous story I couldn't even find her other stuff at all.
Games I played Alan Wake about this guy (who is an author) who goes on holiday to this island and his wife goes missing so Alan has to investigate it while this story that he doesn't even remember writing becomes a reality, there's a second one I just haven't played it yet. I played The Quarry about a group of young adult camp counsellors who have to stay one day extra before they get to go home but there's creepy stuff on the property that wants to kill them and it's so good my fave character is my profile picture, we love Dylan Lenivy.
THENNN I played A Way Out with my brother set in the same prison as Shawshank Redemption, these 2 criminals set a plan to escape prison and get their revenge on the guy who murdered one of the mens brothers and well the other one kind of gives away the whole story so I won't go into detail on that one but it's depressing, it's a little disturbing and you get attached to Leo and Vincent the main guys.
Ive just been chilling this last month before school starts again and hanging out with my friends, I was going to go to NI for a while but there's protests and people setting streets on fire so I'm not going anywhere near there for now.
But yeah that's my life, you should totally reblog this with your telling of your life I would love to hear about it!!!

"REPRESENTATIVES"
Masterlist | Credits to @jiphenn | Characters: Felix (he/him), January (he/him), Maddox (he/him), Akali (he/him), Alzena (she/her), Winola (she/her), Nyssa (she/her), Astley (he/they), Rory (they/she), Kuali’i (he/him), Wilder (he/him)
“Okay, let’s start the meeting!”
The Board Game Club sat gathered around a pile of snacks and board games, stretched out on January’s bedroom floor.
Well, bedroom wasn’t quite the right word for it.
Just like everything else in the Lim Estate, January’s room was absolutely humongous. Unlike his old room that had its own twenty-foot fish tank, this room had a sparkling fresh waterfall running down the entire back wall, spilling into a huge deep blue pond of koi fish. It was nothing like any of the friends had seen before.
January turned to Felix with a wide smile, his multi-coloured eyes glittering with excitement. “How’s training been?”
Felix grinned. “Good!”
“Did they switch you out?”
Felix had never looked happier. “Hiraya chose me as her representative!” He practically sang, gloating.
“Well luckily for you, you won’t be the only one training!” January whipped out a letter from inside his pocket. “I’m Atiah’s new representative!”
“Wooooooow!” Felix exclaimed, lighting up and leaning over to inspect January’s fancy letter, even more overjoyed than before.
“Oh yeah, I got a letter too.” Alzena reached into her pocket, almost a polar opposite from Felix and January, nowhere near as excited. “It’s from Einar. I’m not sure I want to do it though.”
“Woooow! That’s three of us!” January cheered, grinning from ear to ear.
“Make that four!” Rory flashed a letter from none other than Shehani. “Kuali’i got a letter too! I guess she saw his battles from the Rank Tournament!”
“Good luck.” Felix huffed, giving him a small smile. “Shehani’s training is sooooo hard.” He sighed, mind flashing back to the actual torture that Shehani put him through.
“He can take it!” Rory said, patting Kuali’i’s back encouragingly, but her friend just sat there with the same solemn expression that he always wore, not showing a shred of emotion.
“That’s four out of five!” January could not be happier. “Is anyone else going to whip one out?”
“Um.”
Everyone turned to Nyssa in complete and utter shock.
Nervously, she pulled out the same crimson envelope that the rest of them got. “I accidentally bumped into Una yesterday and he said I’d be the ‘perfect representative’.” She mumbled, looking less than excited.
“THAT’S ALL FIVE SPOTS!” January whooped, so happy to be training with all of his best buddies.
Akali cleared his throat. “I also got something, but it’s a little different.” Slowly he pulled out a black envelope from the inside of his coat pocket. “‘You, Akali Lee, have been given the exclusive opportunity to train with Vincent Lim.’” He read out.
“NO WAY!” Felix screamed.
“WHAAAAAATTTTTT!” January was practically on top of Akali, leaned over looking at the letter with wide eyes.
“THAT’S SO COOL!”
“I don’t know if I’m going to do it though.” Akali said, sliding the letter back into his pocket.
“You should!”
“Remember when they said that all his representatives usually die.” Akali’s not looking to die from training.
“You’re strong, you can handle it!” Felix gave him a crooked grin.
“Thanks.” He mumbled, huffing out a sigh.
“Well have the rest of you guys found anything to do?” January looked up towards the rest of them.
Rory nudged Wilder. “I joined school.” He stated, looking up for the first time this entire meeting.
“Oooh that’s nice! What about you guys?” January turned to Maddox, Astley, and Winola.
“I joined the orchestra.” Winola spoke up.
“Woooah!” January smiled. “When’s your next performance?”
“April tenth.”
“Oh for Atiah’s birthday, right?” January asked. Winola nodded, silent once again. “That’ll be fun!”
He turned to Maddox next, awaiting his progress report. “I got a job at the library, and I signed up to go to school.”
January grinned. “You nerd.”
“Shut up.” Maddox narrowed his eyes at him but grinned back nonetheless.
“What about you, Astley?”
“Nyssa took me to help at the orphanage.” That was the last thing anybody would expect from Astley.
“Oh, really?”
“Yeah.” Astley nodded his head. “We play with kids.” Again, the last thing anybody would expect from Astley.
“That sounds fun! Are you gonna keep doing it?”
Astley thought for a moment, “Probably.”
“Any other exciting news?” January asked, glancing around. “Well if there’s no any other exciting news, let’s play!” He whipped out a large stack of board games and grinned.
They began to play, but the room felt strangely empty.
Avil’s absence really had changed everything.
Winola belongs to @sleepsloooop || January, Maddox, Akali, Alzena, Nyssa, Astley, Rory, Kuali’i, and Wilder all belong to @jiphenn

Katherine looked very angry. Her entire being exhaled a very intense murderous intent, and all eyes were fixed either on her or in the target of her killing instinct.
Vincent, like always, wasn’t sure about what to do. Of course, he could have seen this coming.
Orlando poked him in the rib, with his elbow.
“Ow!” complained Vincent. “What was that for?”
“You have to do something about Katherine, man” said Orlando. “She’s angry.”
“Seriously, man. Shouldn’t you have seen this coming?” asked Jonny.
“I could, I guess…” muttered Vincent.
“Then go do something about this.”
Vincent took a deep breath. Then, walked to Katherine, sitting right next to her, while timidly moving his hand to her shoulder.
Katherine’s look was enough to make Vincent flinch.
“Uh are you okay, babe?” asked Vincent. “Everything’s all right?”
“What do you think?” asked Katherine, her voice so cold it could freeze the air.
“Yeah, stupid question, I mean…”
“Vincent. I know we agreed that we both would have a particular choice. But please, enlighten me.”
Katherine stood up, knocking down her drink while furiously pointing to another table.
“WHY THE FUCK DID YOU INVITE HER, OF ALL PEOPLE, TO BE OUR SON’S GODMOTHER???”
Yeah, Orlando was right. Vincent definitely should have seen that coming.
At the other table, quietly sitting with the same provocative clothes she wore everytime Vincent saw her, there was Catherine. The woman who came into Vincent life and was responsible for the most terrifying week he ever experienced in his life.
Catherine didn’t seem to be offended by Katherine’s rage. Quite the opposite, she calmly smiled, visibly enjoying this, while she raised her glass to Katherine, like making a toast to her fury.
Possibly the only reason why Katherine didn’t rush to tackle Catherine was the baby in her arms. Probably the same motive why Katherine sat down again só quickly, the small boy looking curious to her mother’s angry face while she burned Catherine with her eyes.
“I can throw hands with her if you want, Katherine” said Erica, approaching the table. “You take care of your son.”
“You go, Erica!” shouted Toby, visibly looking forward to it.
“Let’s… not throw hands with anyone here, right?” said Vincent, with a weak voice.
“Give me a good reason why I should not tell Erica to give YOU a good beat, Vincent” said Katherine. “Of all people you could choose, why did you pick HER to be our son’s godmother? Not only she tried to seduce you into cheating on me, but she’s literally a demon. A succubus, isn’t that right?”
“Well, you see… that’s the main part of the reason” muttered Vincent. “After everything that happened, we now know that demons are real. And if they’re real… I don’t know, maybe it’s for the best if our kid have someone among them who’ll care for him?”
“That’s insane, man” said Jonny. “It’s like the mafia tried to kill you, and then you invite the mafia boss for your marriage.”
“Not only that, but did it have to be her?” asked Katherine, again. “If our kid needed a demon godparent by your twisted logic, couldn’t you have invited, don’t know, Boss?”
“Oh, I’m gonna have to disagree with you there” said Erica. “Boss’ way sketchier than Catherine.”
“I heard that, Erica!” said the Boss, Thomas Mutton, from behind the counter.
“Yeah, and I mean it!”
“Also, well… tell you the truth, Dumuzid is not that much of a big deal in hell. He’s of human origin, after all.”
Everyone was surprised to see Catherine right there with them. None of them noticed when she left her table and joined then. Immediately, Katherine hugged her son more tigher, like trying to protect him from the woman in front of her.
“Oh, no need to be so paranoid, old hag” said Catherine. “I told Vince I agree to be this kid’s godmother. But honestly, he also got a lot of nerve, asking me this kind of thing when he dumped me to be with you!”
Katherine opened her mouth to protest, but Vincent was faster.
“Don’t call Katherine that way” said Vincent. “I’m grateful that you accepted my request, but don’t disrespect my wife.”
That had the effect of calming Katherine a bit, and everyone was generally surprised by Vincent’s words. Sure, despite the problems Vincent and Katherine passed through in the past, they got married and nobody doubted that they were in love, but it wasn’t often that Vincent stood up like that, not even for himself.
Catherine seemed annoyed by his word, but just shrugged.
“Okay, sorry. Well, it was a bold request, but a smart one. After all, my father is none other than Nergal, a powerful entity in hell. No doubt, your kid has much more benefit by having me as godparent than Dumuzid over there.”
“You’re still at my establishment, you know…” muttered the Boss.
“So, your kid” continued Catherine, as if not hearing Boss’ words. “What’s his name?”
“We’re not sure yet” said Vincent.
“What? You haven’t decided a name for your kid? Are you serious?”
“Katherine wants to call him Ren. Vincent wants to call him Akira. I think they’re both adorable names, so I can see why they haven’t decided yet!”
Again, everyone was surprised. This time, it was Rin who showed up right next to everyone, so suddenly that Erica almost dropped the tray she was carrying.
“Oh. So you’re still here as well” said Catherine, with visible disgust in her voice.
“Yup!” answered Rin, happily. “Katherine and Vincent invited me.”
“Your request seems more and more absurd as time passes, Vince.” Catherine turned her eyes back to Vincent. “Not only you want me to be your son’s godmother, but you also call a fucking angel to the party that you want me to attend?”
“Rin is a precious friend, of course I would invite them” said Vincent, firmly.
“Also, I’m not exactly an angel, you know” said Rin.
“Whatever. Well…” Catherine looked at Katherine, who was still holding the baby. “Can I hold my godson for a moment, if that’s the way you want it?”
“You stay away from my son!” shouted Katherine.
“Kat, Kat, please…” said Rin. “I’m not gonna let her do anything to the baby. Please, trust me.”
Vincent looked at Katherine and the baby, feeling anxious. Deep down, he knew he was getting into trouble for this decision. But, somehow, he felt that having a connection to the “other side” could save his son’s life someday, and that would make all the suffering he endured under the nightmares given to him by Catherine and Mutton worthwhile.
Katherine took a breath. Then, slowly, she passed the baby in her arms to Catherine.
Catherine clearly wasn’t experienced in holding babies, and still looked more annoyed by it than any other feeling. Probably not even Catherine herself understood why she accepted Vincent’s absurd request, or why she wanted to try and hold a baby. That didn’t seem appropriate for a succubus like her, that had the ruin of men and women as his sole purpose in life.
But then, Catherine stared at the baby. The curly hair, just like Vincent’s. The narrow eyes, possibly a gift from Katherine’s japanese grandmother, that stared at her like two grey flashlights. As Catherine looked at the baby, he smiled for a moment. Children at this age normally don’t know how to express joy with face expressions, and only smile to please their parents, but that smile looked different. It was a sly smile, that reminded Catherine of a sneaky cat trying to get away with a misdeed.
Catherine’s eyes sparkled. She couldn’t avert her gaze from the baby. He looked absolutely perfect, in ways she would not expect.
“Well, look at you” said Catherine, smiling. “Aren’t you a cute boy? I bet you’re gonna destroy lots of hearts when you grow up, aren’t you? My, I guarantee, you’re gonna have so much guts than your lousy father. I looked forward to it, cutie.”
“Okay, okay, that’s enough, now give him here” said Erica, taking the baby from Catherine’s arms. “I’m also his godmother, you know? Katherine picked me, specifically!”
Catherine didn’t protest, but her eyes stayed fixed at the baby, while she was still smiling softly. Then, she turned to Katherine and Vincent.
“All right” said her. “I accept this kid as my godson. And I guarantee that you won’t regret it. If by any chance he gets involved in something big… I’m gonna do everything I can to help him. You have no idea, but some powerful guys in hell owe my father some favours, and my father owes me a bunch of others. Damn, I could even ask Satanael to help this boy fight God, if needed.”
“Uh… we would prefer if he had a more normal life” said Vincent.
“Well, that’s not for you to decide, is it, Vince?” laughed Catherine. “No need to look at me like this, ol… I mean, Katherine. I’m not gonna interfere with your son’s life. But I’m not gonna abandon him either. If you can be proud of something in your life, be proud of this boy. He’s gonna steal everyone’s hearts in his life. He’s just a baby, and he already stole mine.”
Even Katherine was impressed by Catherine’s words. Vincent, Orlando, Jonny, Erica, Toby, Boss, everyone looked at Catherine in surprise. Only Rin didn’t seem surprised, but very pleased, smiling happy as they looked at Catherine.
Then, in the blink of an eye, Catherine wasn’t there anymore.
“You think she was being serious?” asked Toby.
“Dunno. What do you think, Boss?” asked Erica.
“Well, miss Catherine may not look like it, but she’s always serious” said Boss. “If she said she’s gonna protect the boy, she’s gonna protect the boy. But well… I could have done this too, you know. If only…”
“If Vincent asks you to be my son’s godfather, I’m divorcing him right now” said Katherine, taking the baby from Erica’s arms. “One demon godparent is more than enough.”
“Sorry” said Vincent.
“What’s done is done. And well… I confess that I’m starting to consider the idea that you’re not wrong all the time.”
“Haha… well, that’s something.”
Vincent looked at his son. He looked happy and peaceful in his mother’s arms, starting to look a bit drowsy. Catherine’s words ringed in his ears.
He could grow up to steal hearts. He could grow up to have a normal, boring life. Or he could change the lives of everyone around him.
He could be everything. And Vincent loved his son for that.

~Unnamed Miraculous Fanfiction Pt. 2~
Hi Just wanted to start off with saying this is snippet of chapter 2. As the last one was also a snippet of chapter 1! I had some interest in the last post so if this one gets a little traction as well I'll post this to Ao3 or wattpad or something... Anyways Part 1 if you missed it
Bonjour Violette,
Welcome to Paris! As long as I’m around no harm will come to you here. You have a friend in me
Love, Chat Noir
I feel a slight blush creep onto my cheeks as I bring in the vase and set it on my vanity in the direct sunlight. I remove the bracelet, and clip it around my wrist admiring the silver chain with a single charm hanging from it. A black cat.
I have a feeling I’m very much going to enjoy my year here in Paris. The city of love, and what is shaping up to be a very interesting after school activity.
As I’m heading out the door Blanca pokes her head out of the jewelry box. “Violette? Uhm…in order for my magic to work I have to stay close to the miraculous. I have to go to school with you.”
“Oh…right I guess that would make sense. So…like just tag along in my bag? Do you eat? Or go to the bathroom or?”
“Oh no I really only need to eat after you’ve used your miraculous in order to recover my abilities. So I’ll be no trouble for you at all. I can easily just hang out in your bag!” Blanca zips away from the jewelry box and appears to use some kind of glittery portal to enter my bag slung over my shoulder.
The whole thing startles me a little bit and I almost drop my bag with Blanca inside. However before I’m able to even process that my new magical tag along can phase through objects I hear Vincent calling my name from downstairs.
So I snatch my socks from my dresser and race down the stairs with them in hand. Once I’m at the bottom of the stairs I slip my socks on right as my brother hands me a croissant.
“Don’t wanna be late on our first day do you slowpoke?” Vin gives me a small nudge with his foot and I jump up off the stairs and step into my shoes as I take a bite of the croissant he had just handed me. It was starting to cool off a bit by now since I had taken so long.
I was so caught up in day dreaming about what I thought life in Paris would be like I almost made us late to our first day at school.
Following my brother out the door I catch a glimpse of golden hair on the street across from our host home, but it vanishes into a completely blacked out car before I have the time to analyze it any further.
My brother taps my elbow to keep me from standing still anyways. “Come on Vi we can check out paris later…I really don’t want to be late on the first day.”
We link arms, mostly so that he can keep me from stopping again. I don’t really mind because it means I don’t fully need to think about walking anymore. Naturally my attention turns back to Chat Noir as I study the bracelet he gave me. There seem to be plenty more loops for other charms.
I hope this is because he plans on giving me more. That we will spend more time together and I’ll get to know him better. My heart begins beating a little faster, I wonder if even…maybe somehow this chance encounter could become…love?
“New Jewelry?” Vincent asks also peeking at my bracelet as we walk arm in arm.
“You could say that I guess,” I try to shrug it off, act like it’s nothing special. Though I wish desperately to tell Vinny everything. There will be time for that but just not yet. “Came in the box mom gave me.”
“You’re sure that those aren’t important?” Vinny asks
“Yeah mom said that she couldn’t find anything significant about the box, and when I sent her pictures of the jewelry she said the same. Nothing of significance and it’s okay if I wear it.”
“Okay, if you say so.”
Before my brother can ask anymore questions we’re standing at the steps of our new school watching other students pour into the building. I unlink my arm from Vin’s and skip up the steps ahead of him.
I can’t wait to get my first day done with so I can get home and get to go out with Blanca and getting to see Chat Noir again.
“Miss Leblanc, Mr Leblanc. Welcome to our class! We were just about to get started with our seating assignments for the beginning of the year,” Miss Bustier cheers as I enter the classroom.
I whip my head around confused as to of why she was addressing Vincent as well. Only to see him a few steps behind me.
The teacher continues listing off names in the order that they’re going to be sitting I try my best to listen to the names but find myself staring at a boy.
I don’t know him, but something about him feels so familiar. His golden hair swoops just above his eyes, bright green eyes. And the way he smiles as he talks to the boy in the red hat behind him…
Surely it’s just a coincidence. I’m sure Paris has lots of boys with swoopy golden hair, green eyes, and charming smiles.
Actually now that I think about it yeah, there weren’t any other parallels between this boy and whoever was underneath chat noir’s mask. I fiddled with the bracelet gifted to me by the black cat superhero. The thought that he could be just about any boy in Paris…
I wish we had heroes back home, though based on everything I read about what the heroes in Paris have to deal with I guess it’s good that we don’t have the villains heroes would fight. Hopefully it’s not too dreadfully annoying to deal with villains while going about your normal day.
“Adrien Agreste? You’ll be sitting here,” Miss Bustier announces. And as she does I notice a girl with dark pigtails giggling and squirming in the spot that she stood she had her fingers crossed and her eyes closed and wasn’t really drawing much attention to herself but the moment had picked my interest away from the blonde boy.
“Violette Leblanc you’ll be next to him. Adrien is rather good at English, and will make for a good desk neighbor,” Miss bustier announces to the class.
As I make my way to my seat I notice the girl with the pigtails and pink pants‘ mood change significantly. The excitement and joy I’d seen in her just a moment ago switched to a glare. As if I had purposely taken away from her the one and only thing she had wanted.
Adrien however offers a gentle smile and a soft hello. His eyes dart to my bracelet then back to my face when I wave back. “Nice bracelet,” he whispers as our teacher continues on with the seating arrangement.

Slashers reaction to the reader referring to them as their boyfriend/partner to other people for the first time?
The Slashers reacting to their S/O referring to them as their Boyfriend/Girlfriend to other people for the first time:
Thomas Hewitt
It was no secret that you and Tommy were together, always by each other’s side, acting lovesick.
Luda May wasn’t shy about voicing your relationship, already referring to you as Thomas’ partner and to Thomas as your boyfriend, she already had her mind set on a future of weddings and grandbabies.
Her talk had always made the two of you flustered and embarrassed, neither of you really confirming her claims of your relationship.
You had been down at the gas station with Luda May and Thomas, she had asked Thomas to come to help move some crates and you had already been there to help her watch the place.
A group of travellers had pulled in, getting some gas and stocking up on snacks.
Being a friendly and trustworthy face, you were sent out to greet them and ask if they needed assistance. Thomas had been lifting another crate and had looked over to you, always protective over you, especially when it came to strangers. Eventually one of the men had commented on Tommy’s staring as he worked, scoffing to himself.
“Oh, that’s Tommy, my boyfriend. He’s just a little protective, you never know the type you might run into ‘round here” you reassured them with a smile, fully knowing that it was the Hewitt family that nobody wanted to run into around here.
Of course, Thomas overheard you, and your declaration instantly made him blush, quickly busying himself with his work again.
He’s overjoyed though, hearing you refer to him as your boyfriend, sounding so proud of him, he loved you so much and each day you convinced him that you felt the same. He also likes that these strangers know that you’re together.
Michael Myers
You were seeing some friends and Michael had gotten bored, heading out to find you and continue with his usual stalker shenanigans since he seems to enjoy stalking you when he’s bored and you’ve left him at home. He saw you talking to some of your friends, you were saying goodbye.
They had tried to get you to stay a little longer but you had smiled, telling them that you had to get home to your boyfriend. Of course they had demanded to finally meet this mysterious boyfriend but you shook your head at them before heading home, where Michael would already be when you arrived.
So, you had been referring to him as your boyfriend to your friends for a little while...he isn’t going to bring it up, he’ll act like he never heard it, like he was at home this whole time.
He won’t say anything but he ponders it for a moment, if that’s how you want to refer to him...he’s more than okay with that. Maybe more okay with it than he would admit to himself.
Jason Voorhees
You had gone on a walk through the woods and had wandered into the old camp. You hadn’t been aware of intruders but accidently stumbled upon a group of trespassers who had just arrived and where getting bags out of their car.
The group had turned to you, surprised but friendly. You, on the other hand, panicked a little, knowing you shouldn’t interact with them too much. Jason would be coming to deal with them some time soon.
“Uh sorry...I was just looking for my boyfriend...bye!” you practically ran off, back towards the cabin, knowing that Jason would want you to be somewhere safe and out of the way.
Jason had seen it all from his hidden spot in the trees. At first he had been worried when you stumbled upon the group, worried that you would get hurt or something.
But his heart fluttered when he heard you referring to him as your boyfriend, liking the way it sounded and how it made him feel.
You had been staying with him for a while now and the two of you had become close, certainly entering a more romantic relationship. But that was the first time you had used the title, and you had done so with so much ease.
Yes, he was your boyfriend, and he adored you.
Brahms Heelshire
You and Brahms were certainly dating, at least he definitely thought so and believed that you did too.
The delivery boy had come with your most recent grocery delivery, and you had answered the door.
The two of you were chatting for a while, slowly irritating Brahms, who was sure that the delivery boy had a thing for you.
You had never really thought the delivery boy liked you but he was getting friendlier lately and you knew how much it bothered Brahms, so you had just casually slipped in some talk about your boyfriend (not mentioning Brahms’ name of course), just to get the point across to both of them.
The delivery boy had always been friendly and that had always made Brahms a little jealous but now that the man knows that you have a boyfriend, Brahms feel more confident that he won’t try anything and it makes him just a little less jealous.
Brahms is looking pretty smug when you close the front door and he comes to greet you, you barely have the chance to roll your eyes at him before he’s pulling you into a kiss.
You can’t help but smile fondly at how proud and happy he seems with his new title.
Bo Sinclair
You and Bo had been getting closer, what you had definitely wasn’t ‘casual’ but neither of you had really talked about it. Bo didn’t like talking about that kind of stuff and you didn’t want to bring it up and put him in a bad mood.
It was fine...until a group of visitors arrived in Ambrose.
It wouldn’t be the first time that a woman had flirted with Bo and he had allowed it, even flirted back to lull the strangers into a false sense of security. This would be the first time it made you jealous and you had every right to feel that way.
The flirtatious woman had laid it on fairly thick, Bo had only chuckled but hadn’t really returned the flirtations. You appreciated that but you still wished he would just tell her to stop or be a little less encouraging. You understood, you just didn’t like it.
Bo was looking at their car while you went to tell the group what was going on, telling them that ‘your boyfriend was just checking their car and should be done soon, he’s very good at his job’. You saw how the woman pulled a face at that, which satisfied you at least a little.
Bo had already been on his way over and had overheard how you had referred to him, making him smirk to him, both because of the title but also because of your jealousy.
Now, he just had to mess with you.
He walked over, announcing that their car needed a new fan-belt as he wrapped an arm around your waist and pulled you into his side.
You knew that he was being extra obvious in front of the woman, probably more to mess with you than anything, and you knew that he was going to tease you for this later on...but at least he was showing off your relationship in front of these strangers.
Vincent Sinclair
When visitors to Ambrose came by, Vincent would watch from a distance (especially when it came to you, just to make sure you were safe).
He’d listen to conversation he could catch, and he was currently listening to you speaking with the group about their car that they needed help with.
“Sure, I’ll just get my boyfriend, Vincent, to go pick up your car” you told the group politely with a smile.
Vincent was taken back by how you referred to him as your boyfriend, and how you did it so causally. He wondered if you knew he was listening, that he could hear you.
Obviously the two of you had gotten very close as of late, sharing more than a couple romantic moments, but you had never brought up the topic.
It’s fair to say that Vincent is a little flustered when he next sees you but you had truly made his day, made his week even.
Lester Sinclair
You were in Ambrose when a pair of strangers walked into the garage, telling you that their car broke down and some guy gave them a lift into down, saying that his brother owned the garage.
“I’m guessing it was my boyfriend who gave you a ride” you chuckled fondly, obviously knowing that it was Lester but keeping up some sort of act.
“Yeah, he did” Lester beamed proudly as he walked into the garage behind the pair.
You blushed a little, getting a little flustered by getting caught referring to him as your boyfriend, not that he seemed to mind.
When he heard the way you referred to him, it just put a huge smile on his face. He kind of knew that he was your boyfriend but this was the first time you had actually said it.
He greeted you warmly, pulling you into a hug and kissing your cheek, still beaming. It was sweet really. If Bo had seen, he probably would have gagged.
Bubba Sawyer
The brothers had been bickering and arguing, which was nothing new. Of course, you had started to defend Bubba, since he was pretty unconfrontational.
Drayton had scoffed and complained about you defending Bubba.
You had just responded with “well, he is my boyfriend”, without even thinking about it.
Nobody else (other than Bubba) was surprised by the word ‘boyfriend’. Just rolling their eyes at you and continuing with their bickering.
Bubba had the biggest smile on his face.
He accepts his new position as your boyfriend instantly. Yes, he is your boyfriend and he loves you so much.
He just gets a little giddy and wants to give and receive a lot of affection from you after that.
Billy Lenz
You had been on the phone with a friend. They had invited you out for the evening but you had politely declined, telling them that you were spending the night in with your boyfriend.
Of course, Billy had been listening in on the conversation, and as soon as you referred to him as your boyfriend he was grinning like an idiot.
It was more than obvious that the two of you were in fact dating, you just hadn’t put a name on it and Billy hadn’t really thought to do so. He felt like you had just made the relationship official, but he was more giddy at the thought of other people knowing that he was your boyfriend, that you would talk about him so fondly to your friends.
As soon as you put the phone down, Billy is on you, wrapping you up in his embrace, making you giggle as you returned the gesture, wondering what had gotten into him.
“I’m your boyfriend” he stated proudly, grinning from ear to ear before peppering your face with kisses, making you giggle again.
“Yes you are” you agreed fondly, pressing a kiss to his cheek.
Asa Emory (The Collector)
You were at Asa’s home when you got a phone call from a friend, asking if you wanted to hang out that evening but you already had plans with Asa. And that’s what you told them.
“Sorry, I’m spending the evening with my boyfriend” you told them, smiling when they complained about not having met your boyfriend yet.
As soon as you hung up, Asa appeared next to you, holding out a drink for you. You couldn’t help but get a little flustered, knowing he had heard and also knowing that you hadn’t really defined your relationship like that yet.
“You could have told me” was all he really responded with as he sat down beside you. Clearly not minding the way you referred to him.
Asa isn’t an idiot, he knew that’s where your relationship was, he just hadn’t brought up the conversation yet. Now it seemed like it didn’t have too, and that was good to know.
Jesse Cromeans (Chromeskull)
You had decided to visit Jesse at his office, which he had told you that you could do whenever you pleased. When you arrive and were asking for him and the location of his office, you were met by a woman who seemed pretty hostile about your presence.
You definitely didn’t want to cause any trouble at Jesse’s work but she was being rude and you were getting tired, you just wanted to visit Jesse for lunch.
“Look, I’m just here to visit my boyfriend, I’ll just call him and let him know I’m here” you sighed, about to give up as you pulled your phone out of your pocket.
Luckily, Jesse had just been passing through the reception and had witnessed the end of your conversation. Smirking to himself when you referred to him as your boyfriend.
He approached before you could unlock your phone, tucking it away again as you smiled up at him.
Jesse nods to the woman, placing a hand on your back before guiding you up to his office.
Once you’re alone, he will playfully question you about how you had referred to him. After messing with you a bit and making you a little flustered, he reassures you that it’s perfectly fine. He is happy to call himself your boyfriend and to call you his partner.
From then on, everyone knows who you are and that Jesse is your boyfriend. You won’t be stopped or questioned again, don’t worry.
Otis Driftwood
You and Otis had gone to a nearby bar together, just to get out of the house and have a little fun. You had wandered over to the bar without him and when Otis looked over, he saw some guy flirting with you.
Jealousy and protectiveness (maybe some possessiveness) had Otis marching over to the two of you.
“Uh, yeah sorry, I have a boyfriend” he heard you tell the man, shifting away from him in discomfort. You glanced around and relaxed when you saw Otis approaching. “There he is!” you smiled brightly, you were quick to push yourself away from the bar and meet Otis.
He instantly wrapped an arm around you and pulled you close to him, protectively and possessively as he glared the man down.
Damn right, he’s your boyfriend. And he’ll make sure everyone here knows it.
You had never actually called him that before, never actually made whatever the two of you had official. But now you had, that’s all he had to know.
Baby Firefly
You and Baby had gone out to a bar to have a few drinks and probably cause some trouble. She was dancing even though nobody else was, just her, having a great time, as you watched on adoringly.
Some guy and come up beside you and asked who she was.
With a grin, you had proudly exclaimed “that’s my girlfriend!”
Of course, Baby had heard you and smiled about it to herself.
Once she finished dancing, she returned to you and the same guy moved closer, introducing himself to her and asking for her to introduce herself in return.
“I’m their fucking girlfriend” Baby stated proudly with a grin of her own, wrapping her arms around you as if to get her point across even more.
Yautja (Predator)
Of course introducing your family or your friends to your current partner (or ‘mate’, as he would call you) wasn’t really an option at the moment. But you had mentioned that you were seeing someone.
You were on the phone to a friend when they started asking about this mysterious person you had been seeing.
So, finally you told them to give your boyfriend some privacy, the two of you laughing before ending the call.
He had been referring to you as his mate for a while now and you assumed that was the same level, if not even more serious, than the title of boyfriend, so you figured it was okay.
And your mate thought so too. He knew what ‘boyfriend’ meant since you explained human dating to him, so when he heard, he knew what you meant and it just filled him with pride, knowing that you definitely felt the same as him.

beach house
she/her pronouns
summary: y/n and vinnie go to the beach house with the hype house
warnings: angst, fluff, swearing
beginning is loosely inspired by luverts
“it's so fucking hot in this car,” y/n complained.
“okay, love, i can't do anything about that right now. roll the window down,” vinnie rolled his eyes.
jett and jack were sitting in the back of vinnie's bmw and of course, the ac went out right as they were about to leave.
“you can't roll the window down on the freeway. what if something flies in here?” y/n retorted, putting her hair up into a bun.
“then stop fucking complaining. we're all hot,” vinnie snapped.
y/n didn't answer, shifting her body to the other side and looking out the window. vinnie sighed, the tension in the car thick.
jett and jack looked at each other with wide eyes.
“y/n-“ vinnie started.
“not right now. please,” her voice was barely above a whisper.
2 and a half hours later the group piled out of the car. y/n was still ignoring vinnie, avoiding him as she talked to mia and kouvr.
“baby, let's put our stuff in our room,” vinnie came up to her as she was sat at the kitchen island eating chips.
his voice was soft as he watched as she grabbed her stuff, walking to the last room in the hallway.
picking the left side of the bed, furthest away from the door, she placed her stuff down on that side.
vinnie closed the door behind him, locking it. “can you please talk to me?” he begged.
y/n was still staring out the window when she felt his arms wrap around her. “i'm sorry for snapping at you in the car. i was frustrated and hot and-“
“i'm sorry for complaining,” she turned to him, looking her boyfriend in the eyes.
“it's okay, i get it,” he kissed her nose.
“we're good now? you're gonna talk to me?” vinnie asked.
“i guess i can spare you some words,” y/n joked, kissing him.
-
“beach time?” alex asked everyone. the group all agreed and went to change.
pulling on a black swim suit, y/n readjusted her boobs so they looked nice. “who are you doing that for, hmmm?” vinnie hummed.
“you never know if there's some hot people at the beach,”y/n teased.
vinnie pulled her in tightly, beginning to tickle her. “what was that? i'm the only hot person here, baby. other than you, of course,” he said.
y/n was squirming around until she finally got away. “i was joking, i swear!” she laughed.
vinnie grinned. “need me to sunscreen you up?” he asked.
“is that question supposed to be sexual?” y/n asked, feeling his large hands rubbing in the lotion.
“do you want it to be sexual?” he requestioned. y/n hummed, leaning back against him as they cuddled for a moment.
“let's go!” thomas called out from the living room.
-
y/n and vinnie placed their stuff next to everyone's, plopping down on the sand. y/n sat in between vinnie's legs, laying against him as they took selfies.
“you guys gonna do a couple thirst trap?” jett joked, sitting on the towel next to them.
“that is a wonderful idea, jett,” y/n grinned, pulling up a tik tok audio.
shooting from a down angle so y/n could fit in her boobs, she lip sung the lyrics before doing a transition and handing it to vinnie. he did the same before they shot a scene together.
“awww cute,” kouvr said.
y/n smiled, thanking her as the couple rewatched it.
“i'm squinting my eyes too much,” vinnie stated.
“because it's bright. mine are squinted too. we should really get some sunglasses,” y/n said. vinnie nodded.
-
after awhile everyone decided to head down to the water. y/n stayed in knee-high water while the boys all went to shoulder-deep. “i don't understand how they're not freezing,” mia said.
y/n shrugged. “men.”
“we have the hot tub at the house, right?” kouvr asked. mia nodded.
“i will be gladly sitting in that tonight,” kouvr smiled. y/n and mia laughed.
“y/n!” vinnie called out from the water, his wet hair curled over his forehead as he moved closer.
“what, baby?” y/n called back.
she watched as vinnie came closer, until he suddenly scooped her up into his arms. “vincent, put me down right now i swear to god-“
“shhh, relax, my love. i'm not gonna let anything touch you.”
“you're gonna let the cold water touch me!” y/n shrieked, feeling it hit her chest.
“fucking hell!” she clung onto vinnie tighter.
“i hate you, oh my god,” she gasped.
“shut up. you know you love me,” vinnie cooed, moving his girlfriend and helping her wrap her legs around his waist.
“not right now,” she half joked, trying to use his body heat to warm up. her teeth were chattering as vinnie laughed.
“are you really that cold?” he asked.
“i'm just not used to the water, that's all. i don't hate you,” she took back what she said earlier.
“i know you don't,” he said.
-
sitting in the hot tub, y/n cuddled into vinnie's side; leaning her head on his shoulder as their hands intertwined.
making jokes and having a good time, the couple got lost in the moment as they slowly focused on each other.
“i love you so much, babe,” y/n whispered in vinnie's ear.
vinnie grinned. “i love you more, honey.”

Sweet November | Dr Strange x Fem!Reader
Sweet November : Chapter Two-November 1
| Series Summary: "One month." Stephen said, his gaze intense. He raised his hand, offered it for you to shake. "One month." you agreed, and shook his hand. The sign of a closed deal. Then he smiled at you, and from that instant, you realized, you just broke rule number one; no falling in love.
| Chapter Warning: none i guess? just smart ass/snarky stephen, bickering like an old couple, lil bit of fluff
| Word Count: 2184 words
| A/N: what??? another chapter already??? ikr, my creative juices will prolly run out soon, but i'm making the most out of it! chapter 3 will be up soon. comments, hearts, REBLOGS, any kind of attention will motivate me to write
“Shit!” you quietly gasped to yourself as your phone vibrated. You set an alarm to remind you of your appointment with the doctor. But you had to attend a last minute class to make up for your absence last week. You whipped your head, plotting your escape. You thought it’d be easy to sneak out of your class, and how right you were.
However, when you sat back in the taxi after directing the driver to Metro General Hospital, your phone beeped, alerting you of an incoming message. It was from your professor, asking to see you in her office next time. Sighing, you let your head softly hit the seat. You closed your eyes, then drew in a breath.
You were frustrated, having to pay for a taxi fare. You could’ve walked a few blocks but you were running late. And you’d hate it more if you’d have a bad impression for the doctor to see. Wait, why do you care so much about what he thinks about you? You asked yourself, and groaned.
“You alright miss?” the driver asked.
“Yeah, thank you.”
Grudgingly, you paid the fare. You had to break your budget a bit, having to save up for an airline ticket. The plan was to go home for Christmas, a long time plan now, as you put off going home for years. The driver bid you thanks and you did the same. Hurriedly, you step through the hospital’s swinging doors and gingerly walk up to the reception.
“Uh hi,” you said. The lady with the bright red lipstick nodded at you and asked what she could help you with.
“I’m here to see Dr. Stephen Strange, I uh, have an appointment with him.” you said. The lady gave you a once over and you instantly felt self conscious. You were wearing your usual street wear clothes; high waist jeans, white shirt, lace up boots, black coat and scarf. On your back slung was your backpack and you were sure your plaid hair had become a bit disheveled due to all the running.
“Take the elevator on the right, his office is on the fifth floor. I’ll have the reception there to help you.” she replied.
“Thank you so much.” you grinned and did what she said.
Soon, you found yourself walking on the polished tiled floor. Everything was so bright; the walls, the floors. Must be the light. You asked the reception and they directed you to walk down the hall, the third door on the right is his office.
On the door, his name shone on the silver plaque.
STEPHEN VINCENT STRANGE, M.D. PhD. / NEUROLOGY SPECIALIST/NEUROSURGEON
You let out a whistle in surprise. You quickly gathered yourself and poised to knock on the door. But it instantly opened when you raised your knuckle to knock.
“You must be Diana.” the man who opened the door said.
“Hi. Yes I am, I’m here to see Dr. Strange,”
“I’m sure you are. I’m Billy, his assistant.” he offered his hand and you shook it. He led you inside and offered you a seat.
“Sorry I’m late,” you sighed as you checked your watch. 13:05 PM.
“Ah, it’s fine. The doctor himself is running late, emergency surgery, I’m afraid.”
“Oh,” you mumbled.
“Yeah, is it alright if you wait?”
“Yeah, though I need to leave by two for work.”
“That’s okay.” Billy said.
In the first thirty minutes you spent inside the office, you were quick to learn that Billy was the one who suggested it to the doctor to find a fake date through Tinder. You chuckled, finding the situation ridiculous, and how you got yourself tangled up in it.
“Why can’t he just attend the stuff alone? Is it really necessary to have a date while attending all of those events?” you curiously asked. Billy passed you a bottle of water and you nodded your thanks.
“Not really, but he said he’s getting tired of the questions and the girls winking at him,”
“Wow, he thinks highly of himself huh,”
“He’s got all the right,” Billy chuckled.
“Don’t you think he’s handsome?” Billy asked you. His head cocked to the side as he leaned against his table.
Pretty damn handsome. You thought.
“Just fine,” you grumble quietly.
“You can be honest with me Di,” Billy said, you grinned, having heard your nickname.
“Is it okay to call you Di?”
“Yeah.”
“Now come on, your secret is safe with me,” Billy said suggestively. You gave in of course. He was easy to talk to, and you felt okay around him. You could at least gain a friend through this scheme, and that could be Billy.
“Yeah, okay. He’s pretty damn fine.” you chuckled, blush creeping up your cheeks. Then you remembered his arrogance, his persistence and his attitude, and it was enough for your flaming cheeks to calm down. You were about to say ‘but’, but you were cut off.
The door suddenly burst open, and came in the doctor you were gushing about. His usual elegance was disheveled and he looked like he ran a mile.
“Who’s pretty damn fine?” he asked, his voice booming. Billy opened his mouth to respond but he was interrupted.
“Nevermind, don’t answer that. Billy, are you hitting up on my fake girlfriend?”
“Nope.” Billy grinned.
“Hey! I haven’t agreed to be your fake girlfriend!” you protested.
“Well what are you doing here?” he smirked at you before grabbing his water bottle from the mini fridge.
“I—” flustered, you stuttered and ducked your head. He hasn’t even been in the room for a full minute and he was already grating on your nerves.
Maybe it would be best if you don’t agree. You thought. But a voice at the back of your head said, just try, you’ve got nothing to lose, you’ll just gain a few silver hairs due to stress. You exhaled, looked up and gathered your belongings.
“Are you going to walk out on me again?” Stephen asked.
“No, I have to go to work.” you turned towards the door. You noticed Billy glance up at the clock and sigh.
“Can’t you spare just a few more minutes, Di?” Billy begged on his behalf. Stephen on the other hand, crossed his arms, his face blank.
“I don’t know Billy. Maybe I can if your boss can keep his arrogance to himself,” you said.
“I can promise nothing,” Stephen said when Billy turned to him. You shrugged and clicked the door open.
“Okay fine, I’ll keep it to myself.” Stephen’s voice rang through your ears soon as you crossed the door.
You smirked to yourself and slowly turned back. You saw him, leaning against his desk, his hands shot up in surrender. Slowly, you moved back to your seat and from the side of your eye, you could see Billy cheering.
“What are you doing over there? How are we going to talk? Do I have to shout—” he probably saw your raised eyebrow, your disapproving look that’s why he abruptly stopped whatever he was about to say.
“Right, please, Diana, take a seat here,” he stiffly moved and drew the chair by his desk aside. You moved over to his proffered seat and leaned forward.
Stephen drew out his calendar, almost half the size of his desk, each box was full of little scribbles, neat and elegant yet small, just enough to fit everything in every date. He looked at you curiously and he watched you. When you looked up, you were a bit bothered by the way he was looking.
“What?” you daringly asked.
“Do you have uhm uh, a pen and paper?” he was taken aback at your tone, caught off guard.
“Oh yeah,” you flashed him a quick smile and pulled out your worn out journal and your pen.
You swiftly flipped through pages to find your marked page. Stephen, of course, noticed the little details. He cleared his throat and finally settled himself on the seat opposite you.
“Right, let’s settle the dates first,” he pointed at the scribbles at the side of the calendar that were highlighted by a fluorescent blue highlighter.
Pen in hand, you started to write down the dates; November 4, November 9, November 22, November 29-31. All of the events were happening in the evening, mostly starting at eight in the evening. Some were happening nearby, just downtown, or a short drive away from the city. The last three dates, however, you noticed that there wasn’t a place noted.
“Guess I’ll have to skip my shift this Friday,” you muttered quietly.
“Where?” he asked. “Work,” you vaguely replied, a smirk on your lips.
“What kind of work do you do?” he questioned. You felt like challenging him and so you gave him another vague answer, “Oh you know, a lot.”
“Diana,” he sighed.
“No, it’s true, I’ve got a lot of work.”
“Could you, please, be specific? How are we going to make this work if you won’t tell me anything?” he begged.
“This? This? What exactly is this, Stephen?”
“I told you, we are going to be fake dating. I’ll just need you on these dates and in these exact times. Nothing more, nothing else. I’ll provide everything you need, and you’ll be there when I need you. We’ll set rules, the boundaries,”
“So what, is this like a job?” you raised your eyebrow, your head cocked to the side a bit. “Yeah, and this is the job interview.” he replied and sat back.
“Unbelievable.” you sighed and rolled your eyes at him.
“Are you up to it or not? Tell me now, Diana.” he looked at you with such intensity. He’s exasperating, good-looking, and hard to say ‘no’ to. “Fine!” you replied, your voice raised slightly.
“I think it’s too early for couple’s therapy,” someone from the back said. You and Stephen glared at Billy. He made a gesture that he’ll shut up, and you turned back your attention to the doctor.
“I work at the Sundown Bar downtown, as a waitress, every Friday, from six in the evening to twelve midnight. I also work at Harrelson’s Books, Saturdays and Sundays, from three in the afternoon ‘til closing time. I also do volunteer work at a local daycare, every Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon,”
“And you’re also studying?” he asked.
“Yup.” you nodded and he hummed.
“So you see, doctor, I’m just busy as you are, so can you please, try to tone down the snarkiness when we’re together?”
"Oh so we're going down there now, okay," he grabbed the nearest piece of paper he could grasp, and it was a prescription pad.
"Rule number one, no falling in love." you said, yet in your mind, you were screaming for the opposite.
"This is a fake relationship, let's keep it that way." you continued, he nodded and said, "I agree, we're both busy. Maintaining a real one is not my priority right now."
"Rule number two, you are to act like you're in love with me when we're together," Stephen said, writing down the words.
"And that doesn't apply to you?"
"Right," he scratched out the words 'you' and replaced them with 'we'.
"Rule number three, no sharing of personal information." you said, and he nodded in response.
"What's rule number four?" he prompted you.
"No sex." you quietly said. The words were clearly written on the prescription pad when Stephen suddenly realized what he had just written. He looked up and your gazes met. Then, he slowly nodded.
"What?" you narrowed your eyes at him. He shook his head and chuckled.
"I think that's all for me, do you have anything to add?" he asked you. You shook your head and he proceeded to pull his desk drawer open. He whipped up his credit card from his wallet, and a calling card of a boutique. He passed it to you, your face painted in puzzlement.
"I did say I'll be paying so here's my card. And here's my stylist. Choose whatever you like; dress, shoes, jewelry to match, it's up to you."
"You're very trusting," you chuckled.
"I trust you enough, you don't look like a big spender," Stephen replied.
"I may not be, but who knows, maybe I'll use it to feed New York's hungry and unprivileged,"
"I'll know if you do, Diana." he smiled. With the two cards now safely in your hands, Stephen stood up and you did the same. When you had your belongings tucked back in your bag, you turned to him and gave him a shy smile.
"One month." Stephen said, his gaze intense. He raised his hand, and offered it for you to shake.
"One month." you echoed his words with the same clarity and shook his hand.
His hold on your hand was firm, yet gentle. You couldn't shake that bothersome feeling; your hand in his felt right. The deal was closed and there was no backing out. Then he smiled at you, and from that very moment you realized, you just broke rule number one; no falling in love.

I saw your hc request open. Can I request for Arthur's babysitting his baby with the ikevamp boy while mc and comte is not home because of some business. Can you start with the scene where mc was at the room getting ready with Arthur and mc ask if he's okay babysitting their babygirl. and add on a scene where Arthur's baby lost when the other was busy with the baby supply and they found her at Mozart's room while he was there playing a lullaby for her. and mc coming back home saw Arthur talking to the baby and went to sleep because of tiredness with mc kissing him ><
A/N: I’m so sorry this took forever!!!! I had a lot of fun writing this one :)
-
[HC] Arthur with his baby when MC and Comte are out of the mansion
Content Warnings: None
“Are you sure it’s okay that I’m out for the day? Le Comte told me that it was okay to reschedule.”
As she asked Arthur for confirmation for what seemed like the dozenth time that morning, MC was sifting through the drawers, looking for something to bring her outfit all together
“Don’t worry, poppet.”
The writer appeared behind his beloved and dangled a maroon ribbon in front of her face
“I found it,” Arthur whispered and tied a bow into her hair.
His hands then came into view, a gentle caress along her cheeks as Arthur turned MC’s face around and pulled her close to him
A string of kisses as quick as his heart beat for MC on her lips, nose, and forehead
“Like I said, it’s okay. You deserve this. Allow the old man to treat you for the day. God and everyone in this mansion knows just how marvelous you are in everything you do—helping Sebas, raising our beautiful baby, and looking out for this old chap.”
“I guess you are pretty old,” MC quipped, a gentle smile resting on her face.
“Oh, that’s what you chose to take away from my words of encouragement?”
Just then, the sound of their baby crying alerted both parents
“Go, MC. I’m sure Le Comte is waiting for you. I’ve got this.”
After the two bid goodbyes and exchanged quick I love you’s, Arthur took care of his baby girl—a spitting image of her mother, thank the lord, he always thought
It was now the late afternoon, and after six hours of babysitting his own daughter, Arthur looked quite disheveled, almost like he was beginning to lose a game he’s never lost
And we all know, he’s never lost
Just how did MC manage to do this?!
Arthur was always always sure to carry the same amount of weight, if not more at times, when parenting but there were days when he would venture out into the city and when he returned to the mansion?
MC looked fine as a fiddle!
Maybe MC was a little right in having her hesitations, perhaps Arthur needed a little more time before looking after the baby by himself…
But for god’s sake, he was a doctor in his past life!
Surely, Arthur can survive the rest of the day intact, thinking of new ways to entertain the nine-month-old baby and keep her from crying or spitting up or…
CRAWLING AWAY
Oh, guy was in panic mode
Remember when Arthur was always calm and sensible when solving all those mysteries with MC?
Throw that out the door. Far. Away.
Arthur swiftly put the milk down on the kitchen island and hoped that his baby girl would magically appear on the floor even though he’s circled the perimeter of the room five times already
“What in heaven’s name are you doing? Are you trying to catch a rat?”
“Newt, my old boy! I require your assistance. I seemed to have misplaced my daughter…”
“What?!”
“She’s very adept at crawling!”
“Can she crawl up stairs? Or rather down?”
“…I’m not sure…bullocks…”
Picture this: five men—one, who really is about to have a panic attack if they don’t find the baby—in their silly garb scouring the mansion, looking for an adorable little girl
The five men in question: Arthur, Isaac, Vincent, Theo, and Napoleon
“Wait… do you hear that?”
Napoleon stood atop the stairs, his hearing fully dedicated to the goings-on down the long stretch of rooms
“Napoleon, it’s just Mozart,” Theo answered after a moment.
On cue, a string of nonsense in the form of babbling erupted from not too far away, and the boys made a beeline for the musician’s practice room
But with Napoleon, who was leading the march, knew better than to burst into the room like a bunch of Neanderthals, and halted just before Mozart’s door, causing the others to knock into each other like dominos
“You can come in. I heard those obnoxiously loud footsteps coming a mile away.”
Arthur entered the room and relief melted his anxious frame like butter on a pan, a rather audible sigh escaped his lips
There she was
His baby girl sitting on the floor beside the piano, clapping and attempting to sing as Mozart siphoned through his 12 variations of Ah vous dirai-je, Maman
“How long has she been here?!”
“Not long, twenty minutes maybe… she’s quite cute, Arthur. But as politely as I can, get her and all of you out of my practice room.”
“Touchy touchy, Wolfie.”
“Honestly, Arthur, stop bothering the bloke,” Isaac insisted.
By the time MC returned to the mansion, it was half past nine and Arthur was well on his way to passing out
Upon returning to their shared room, MC found Arthur and a wall of pillows barricading their daughter on the bed as he lazily mumbled stories of Kit Holmes, a new character he deemed more admirable than one Sherlock Holmes
MC’s heart could burst at the sight!!
“Arthur, I’m home, my love.”
MC cradled her baby for some time before placing her in the crib, leaving Arthur to fall in and out of sleep as she got ready for bed
When MC finally rested beside her husband, she noted, “You look pretty spent. Did you have an exciting day, Arthur?”
“Mmm, very.”
“Oh, I’m sure.”
There was only love in her expression as MC gazed upon Arthur’s face, his closed eyes and slightly parted lips making him look so at peace
She placed a soft kiss on his lips before grinning, “A little birdy told me you lost our daughter in the mansion today?”
Arthur’s eyes shot wide open
“Mozart? No. Leonardo. Those damn pureblood powers of his.”

Left Behind
Bo Sinclair x Reader
Word Count: 2439
Warnings: Suicide mentioned when Bo is telling the story about Trudy.
I had to admit that I never actually wanted to be here, on a road trip that is, but somehow I had managed to find myself getting an invite from Carly, who claimed there needed to be more girls. I reluctantly agreed to tag along, and so far I was regretting that poorly made decision.
I was a third wheel as I lagged behind Carly and Wade. I felt as if all I had done so far since we arrived in this town was either roll my eyes or sigh at their constant flirting. If I had of known that this is what my day was going to consist of then I would have said no in a heartbeat.
The small town we had arrived in gave me strange vibes, whether it was because the town was oddly empty even though we could hear chatter, or whether it was because of the two men that we had come across.
Bo, the man that works at the gas station, spent most of the time eyeing me down after the run in at the church, I didn’t know how to feel about it.
“So, Y/n. What did you think about Bo? He seems to have taken quite an interest in you.” Carly teased, nudging my shoulder.
We were in the gas station looking for whatever part that Wade needed.
“Don’t be stupid, he was just being friendly.” I scowled.
“Coming from a guys perspective, he definitely finds you hot.” Wade spoke up.
I sent him a glare. “Just look for that part.”
“He’s got everything, but a 15 inch. I’ll just have to use a 16 inch.” Wade grabbed a hold of the strap that he needed, but we were startled when we heard another voice.
“Are you planning on stealing that?” When I turned around, I was met with Bo leaning against the door frame, still in his suit and tie. I had to admit that the suit did look good on him.
“No, we just didn’t know how much longer you were gonna be, and you know, we didn’t wanna interrupt again.” Wade rushed out. “But I left you some money on the counter, but you don’t even really have the right size. You don’t have any 15 inches.”
“I do at the house.” Bo replied, not looking in the slightest bit like he was convinced by Wade’s constant stuttering, I couldn’t blame him though, Wade made us look more suspicious than we actually were.
“Look, I hope you’re not getting the wrong idea that we’re in here.” Carly attempted to ease the tension.
“Yeah, we already feel bad enough after interrupting the first time, we just didn’t want to do it again.” I smiled politely. In return, Bo sent me one of his own smiles and gestured for us to come out of the shed.
“No worries. That was in the past. We can move on from that.” Bo replied as he held the door open for us.
“You keep fan belts at your house?” Wade asked.
“I get things delivered there when I’m not here. Look, if you want to hold onto the 16, that’s fine by me.” Bo was looking more agitated by the minute.
“No, it’s okay.”
Bo led us outside of the gas station and we began our journey to the house that Bo lived at. My legs were already tired enough as it was from all the walking we had done, and I honestly wasn’t trying to do anymore.
“So, is it too late to sign Carly up for that beauty pageant?” Wade asked with a smirk on his face.
“Now unfortunately it is, well at least for you-” Bo turned and nodded in my direction. “-Because you have won, hands down.” I blushed slightly at his comment but shook it off quickly as I looked away.
“Thank you.” I mumbled. My gaze landed on Carly who was giving me a smug smile to which I rolled my eyes at.
“That house of Wax is pretty cool.” Wade changed the subject. This caught Bo’s attention.
“You went inside?”
“Yeah, it was unlocked.”
“I did try to tell them they shouldn’t, but they both happen to be very stubborn.” I didn’t dare step foot into the House of Wax. Knowing myself I would probably end up ruining the art in there, and I would never forgive myself if I destroyed someone’s art that they, more than likely, spent hours trying to create. I did manage to get quick look inside when Carly and Wade entered, and it truly was amazing.
“Everything seems to be unlocked ‘round here, don’t it? Thank you for having respect.” I was rewarded with another one of his smiles that really did compliment his face, although he did use quite an odd choice of words as it made him seem all the creepier.
I shared a look between the other two, who were also very creeped out.
“I did get a look inside though, when they opened the door that is, and the wax sculptures are amazing.” I complimented. I was a bit bummed out that I couldn’t see the artwork up close to see their full detail, but my conscious got to the best of me and now I was glad that I didn’t go in.
“Yeah, people used to come and see it from miles away. Trudy was the main artist.” I could imagine the amount of people that I wanted to see it, but for some reason there wasn’t any.
“What about Vincent?” Carly questioned. “I saw his name on a lot of the work.”
“One of Trudy’s boys.”
“That family must be very talented. Are any of them still around? I would love to meet them, and maybe they could help me out with some of my own art.” I commented.
“Oh- no. It’s a horrible story. Trudy’s husband, Doctor Sinclair, he was a doctor. He got his licence revoked for doing surgery’s on the side, you know, stuff that most doctors wouldn’t do. So, he moved him and Trudy out here to Ambrose, made a fresh start in medical practise and Trudy found her calm with the whole wax sculpture thing.” Bo explained as we walked past the House of Wax. “It was her dream to do something incredible here. Then she had a couple of kids-”
“What’s so horrible about that?”
“Trudy got a cyst in her brain, she just started rottin’ away.” My eyes widened as Bo continued the story. It was really starting to take a dark turn. “Couldn’t work no more, she went crazy, and it got so bad, that Doctor Sinclair had to strap her up to the bed. The whole town could hear her screaming from the house. And Doctor Sinclair was so depressed that he couldn’t save her he-” Bo creates a gun with his fingers and pretends to shoot himself in the head. “Blew his head right off.”
“That’s horrible.” I mumbled.
By now we were approaching the last house on the road, meaning this was where Bo was staying. The sky was getting darker and darker by the minute, making the situation all the more terrifying.
“Hey, uh, why don’t you three hop in, and I’ll go get that fanbelt for ya’” Bo opened the door to his car and gestured for us to hop in.
“No, we actually have some friends picking us up where the roads washed out.” Carly interrupted.
“I’ll give ya’ a lift there. It’s the least I could do then for making ya’ll wait.” Carly and I both turned to Wade who was nodding his head.
“Could I use the toilet?” I asked Bo as Carly hopped into the car.
“Yeah, of course. You said you need to use the can too, didn’t ya?” Bo faced Wade. He then proceeded to ask Carly the same question before he led us into his house.
The house was nothing less than what I expected, not that I expected much. To no surprise, it was quite messy, but I couldn’t hold that against Bo, as he most likely wasn’t expecting guests.
“So, where ya’ headed too anyway?”
“Uh, where just headed to a football game.” Wade answered.
“Bathrooms just down the hall. Let me get out of this jacket and tie, and I’ll get the fanbelt. I have another bathroom upstairs for ya’ to use.” I followed Bo up the stairs as Wade walked down the hall. I began feeling nervous as now I was left alone. “You interested in football?” Bo cocked his head to the side as he looked at me. I found myself staring a little longer than I should have, which Bo took notice of too, as his lips twitched up into a sly smirk.
“No, not really. Just here for Carly.” Bo nodded his head along with what I was saying before he popped another question, a very unexpected question.
“I take it ya’ single than?”
“What makes you think that?” I stammered.
“Well, considering those two are tied to the hip, that would most likely mean that if ya’ were seeing someone, then they’d be 'ere too.” Bo explained as he shrugged off his jacket. “And if it were me, I wouldn’t let ya’ out of my sight. Especially in a town I’ve never been in.” Bo opened a door that revealed to be the second bathroom he owned. I walked in and closed the door and instantly let out a breath I didn’t realise I was holding.
This man was making me feel all kinds of things, and I wasn’t sure if this was a good thing or a bad thing.
I did my business and exited the bathroom to see Bo waiting outside, this time he was dressed in casual clothing, and no longer rocked a suit and tie. I had to admit that this man could certainly pull off both looks.
“Did you need help getting anything? I don’t mind helping.” I offered.
“That would be nice, thank you.” I followed behind Bo, who led us into the garage that was covered in tools and what I could only assume was car parts.
“Is it always this quiet in town?” I watched as Bo gathered some things and placed them in crate he had. I wasn’t sure what I was supposed to do, so I waited where he had placed down the crate.
“Depends on the day, I guess. Sometimes it can be noisy, believe or not, and some days it’s dead silent. Today just so happens to be one of those days.” Bo mumbled.
All of a sudden the lights were cut off and everything went pitch black. I immediately put my arms out to reach for something to grab a hold of. “Bo?” I held my hand out in the direction of where Bo was last stood. “Bo? Where are you?” I felt his hand come in contact with my own.
“I’m right here, sweets.” I was thankful the lights were off so Bo couldn’t see the blush spread out across my burning face. “I don’t know what happened.” The sound of metal hitting the ground echoed throughout the garage, and then I heard the sound of the horn from outside.
“They must be waiting for us.” I muttered to no one in particular. The lights then turned on and I found myself extremely close to Bo as his chest was almost plastered to my back. “Sorry about that. That was childish.” I apologised I pulled myself away from Bo.
“Nothing to be sorry for. Ya’ get a little scared of the dark, nothing to be ashamed of.” Bo picked up the crate of tools. “I’m going to take this stuff out to the truck. Would you mind finding the wrench for me? It should be in one of the drawers over there.” Bo nodded his head in the direction of where the cupboard filled with drawers were before he exited the garage.
Everything felt scarier now that I was alone and everything around me was silent. I could hear my own breathing with how silent it was, and I hated it.
I searched through the different drawers before I found the wrench that I was looking for.
I began hearing shouting from outside and I quickly made my way outside, only to find the truck driving away and Bo standing outside, the tools scattered across the ground. “Bo, what happened?” I slowly approached Bo who was seething with anger, that was until he turned around to me. His face relaxed as he locked eyes with my own.
“Your little friends just decided to drive off with my truck. I guess they forgot that there was a third one with them.” My mood dulled at his words. How could they just leave me like that? “Hey, don’t let them get ya’ down. You don’t need 'em. Especially after the way they’ve acted today.” That didn’t change the fact that someone that I considered to be my best friend, had just left me behind to run off with her boyfriend, did I ever really mean anything to her. “Listen, I have another truck at the station, if ya’ like, we could walk down tomorrow morning and I could drive ya’ where you need to go.”
“That’d be great. Thanks.” Bo walked back inside, forgetting about the tools that were lying all around.
“You can sleep on the couch for tonight. I’ll get ya’ some blankets to keep ya’ warm. Did ya’ want something to eat?” Bo yelled out as he walked up the stairs.
“I’m good.” I called back. I sat down on the couch and stared off into nothing, this day was going horrible. I sighed as I placed my head into my hands and tiredly rubbed my eyes.
“Hey, ya’ know. I’d love to see ya’ some more. I wasn’t lying when I said ya’ were pretty. Definitely caught my eye.” Bo placed down the blankets on the end of the couch as he sat down beside me.
I found myself blushing for what felt like the millionth time today. “Really? I’d like to see you more too.” I whispered, looking everywhere but the man beside me.
Bo placed his finger on my chin and guided me to look in his direction. “Look at me when ya’ speak. I want to see ya’.”
Before I knew it, we had spent what felt like hours talking on that couch before I eventually got tired and fell asleep, and that was definitely the only good part about my day, getting to talk to Bo.

fic idea: lester and jonesy scramble to get ingredients and find the recipe for the cake momma always used to bake the twins on their birthday. they are inept.
THIS IS SO CUTE AAA !!
warnings: slight mentions of abuse ---------------------------------------
Lester knew how his older siblings didn't really care for birthdays --at least not Bo-- it was kind of a sensitive topic as most familial holidays were for the Sinclair siblings, seeing as they lacked the proper warmth that their parents should have offered. The only semblance of affection was bestowed onto Vincent, being as he was their mother's favorite, and in turn, their father's as well. When holidays came their parents did attempt to share the sentiment with their two other kids, but it was stark in comparison to what Vincent received; it was like they were dogs receiving scraps while the real family sat at the table and enjoyed their meal. Thinking about it made Lester upset and he didn't like to dwell on it too much, he was determined to pick up the slack from his parents and reinstate the feel good emotions that holidays should have brought.
Now how was the question, and a damn good one at that. It wasn't that Lester wasn't good at planning things, he was quite good, in fact former partners always boasted about how thoughtful he was when it came to things like this. But this time was different. Sure he loved the ones that used to be in his life, but these were his brothers who he knew might not react positively to it, he didn't want to dig up any bad memories. And yeah, people liked parties and having things given to them, but when you grow up expecting that same loving hand to strike you, it's hard to cherish the good when you know terrible is right around the corner. It hurt Lester that his brother's couldn't appreciate even the smallest things, and it made him hate his parents for making it that way, but he would never mention it to the other two.
That's when he remembered his mom's old recipe book, she was a horrible mother but a damn good baker, and if he was right he'd be able to find that one caramel cake recipe she always made for his siblings on their birthday. He'd set out to get the ingredients, they were on a budget but Lester had set aside some money to get the good stuff, anything for his brothers. All he needed was some company.
Jonesy.
Pup at his feet and directions in hand, Lester sought to set everything out, he had borrowed some cook ware from the house but he'd bring it back when he was done, maybe not clean but returned. He was confident as he measured out the ingredients but with each step he followed his faith wavered. "Y'know girl, this'sa LOT harder than I had reckoned." Lester looked down as Jonesy who just stared up at him with her head tilted.
Determined, Lester continued on whisking and adding and folding till his arms were sore, his mama made it look so easy. He was so caught up in his stumbling over the batter he completely forgot about the beast that would be the icing, and just like with the batter he shook off any concerns, how hard could it be?
He set the ingredients in the pan to melt and went back to pouring the batter in the cake pan before setting it in the heated oven. Directing his attention back to the icing, he noticed it had melted all together and he checked the instructions for what to do next. "Okay girly, it says-- TWO HOURS?" His eyes bulged as he stared down at the paper, he hadn't remembered it taking that long and he didn't have the time to wait.
"Okay y'know what we're g'na do? Not that," Lester set the paper down and turned the eye up to a higher degree, "if it's hotter it'll cook faster, now ain't I smart?" He chuckled as Jonesy barked a response. "You said it sister."
Lester watched as the contents of the pot bubble as it turned a caramel color, stirring it occasionally. He decided to put on some records to help pass the time as he waited for the cake to bake. "S'too quiet," He muttered and cranked the knob to his old boombox as the voice of Merle Haggard flowed from the speakers and into the small kitchen, "there, thas better." He looked at Jonesy before patting his chest, and invitation for her to jump up and dance with him. He held the dog's paws as he swayed and sang along.
"♫ A workin' man can't get nowhere today ♫"
He grinned and stepped with the dog, "Ain't that right Jonesy girl!" Jonesy barked and Lester howled, encouraging her to make more noise. He was having such a good time with his dance partner that he forgot about the now burning icing on the stove. "Shoot!" Lester hissed and raced to stir the liquid and take it off the eye. It was a dark brown and Lester only hoped that it wasn't too bad cause he had used everything he bought and he didn't have enough to remake it. He could only hope that he didn't also mess up the cake.
Equipped with a butter knife, Lester opened the oven and stuck it in the middle of the cake before pulling it out, something he'd seen his mom do, except he didn't know what to look for. He noticed how the top was cooked and it was squishy when he pressed into it, so he pulled it out. Soon the cake was covered in the dark caramel icing and he swore at himself for lacking his mother's artistic ability, wanting to decorate the cake but deciding that he didn't want to mess it up further. He let the cake cool as he gathered everything in his truck, making sure to remember his brothers' presents.
He had gotten Bo a portable jump starter, something he had seen someone use when he was stuck on the side of the road. Lester knew the battery on Bo's truck had seen better days and he for sure didn't want his older brother stuck somewhere. And for Vincent he knew he had to get him this old brush carrier he had seen while he was browsing some antique shop, he even managed to sweet talk the lady up front to hold it for him till he could afford it. The holder was sturdy and made out of leather that had softened from years of use, on the back had flowers and leaves carved into it, nothing too 'pretty' but something artsy that he knew his brother would like. He had also snagged some whiskey while out shopping, hoping that it would help with the nerves of them all.
Once everything was packed in his truck, Jonesy included, he set off to Ambrose, careful to not hit any bumps and disturb the dessert that sat between him and the animal. He said a silent prayer as he crept towards the washed out road, hoping that no one was at Ambrose besides his brothers, that'd be a real thorn in his side and would surely ruin his plan. As he drove through the town he breathed out a sigh of relief as he noticed nothing out of the ordinary, even better that Bo was too busy in his garage to pay any attention to him as he drove by and up to the house.
Lester was careful with taking everything in, not wanting to make too much commotion in case Vincent was up in the house and not in his workshop. Finally everything was set in the kitchen, he even cleaned up a little, more in compensation for taking and making a mess of the dishes but he wanted it to look a little nicer. He was giddy and he didn't know what to do next, did he get Bo or Vincent first? He really hoped they would like it, he would understand if they didn't, but he really did want today to be good for them. He decided to put on some music to drown out the silence the house held, it always unsettled him how quiet it could get.
Soon Lester was accompanied by the sound of Johnny Cash's 'Big River' and the house felt less vacant, he knew his brother's liked different types of music but they never grew out of their taste of the old country tapes his parents had. For a second he wondered if maybe the music might throw everything off, remind them too much of ma and pa, but he pushed the thought down when he remembered how well Bo and music paired after a few drinks.
After he decided everything was ready, Lester headed off to the House of Wax first, seeing as Vincent would listen to him if he asked him to wait in the living room whereas Bo would demand to know what's going on. Jonesy pranced alongside him, her collar jingling softly as she bounced with each step. "Hey girl, you excited?" He asked as they stopped outside the House of Wax before leaning down to pet her head. Jonesy barked and her tail wagged as she basked in the affection Lester was giving her.
The two were in and out quick, Lester telling Vincent to wait for him in the living room and leaving before his brother could respond. It had been easy but he knew getting Bo to come without question would be harder. As he and Jonesy walked to the gas station he went over in his head how would ask Bo without giving away too much, did they even know it was their birthdays? Lester stopped in his tracks.
Did they even know it was their birthdays?
Surely they had to, if they did they hadn't said anything about it. It made him sad when he thought about how it meant nothing to them, but to him it was the biggest day ever, it was the day two of the most important people came to be, two people he loved so much it hurt. He'd be damned if he let his parents continue to torment his brothers from the grave, to hell with them, Lester and his brothers were better without them and he'd show them.
With new found confidence he marched to the garage where his older brother was, head ducked under a hood of some car doing god knows what. Without looking up Bo called to him, "Hand me that wrench will'ya?" He extended his hand and waited for Lester to drop the metal tool in his hand before continuing to tinker with the vehicle. After a few beats Bo addressed him again, "Wha'cha want? M'busy."
Lester wrung the hem of his shirt in his hands as his mind scrambled to find what to say, finally settling on "I need ya up at th'house, got sumn to show ya." He turned on his heel and made his way back to the family home, ignoring Bo's demands for an answer. "I guess you'll have t'come and find out I s'pose!" He hollered back at his brother.
Upon entering the house Lester saw Vincent sitting on the couch, waiting like he expected him to be. Not too long after Lester came in Bo followed, his brows furrowed in confusion as he looked at both of his brothers. "Kay what? Th'hell you drag me up here for? Wha'cha gotta show me?"
Lester motioned for them to follow as he led them to the kitchen, Jonesy racing to be in front of the brothers, evidently more excited than the three men. On arrival Bo asked again what was going on and Lester so badly wished his brother had more patience. "Well..." He had started as he glanced between his brothers and then towards the pan that sat on the kitchen table. "Happy birthday?" Automatically Bo let out and groan and Lester had to move to stop him from leaving.
"You dragged my ass all the way up'ere t'tell me that? I'on got time fer this shit, told'ya I was busy." He stared down at his little brother before watching as his twin inspected the pan, peeling back the foil to reveal a cake, or something resembling a cake-- was it a cake? The fuck Lester bring with him?
Vincent turned back to dig through a drawer, grabbing a cake cutter and some plates from a cabinet. Lester stared at his feet as he shuffled slightly, embarrassed from the rejection. "Might not be good but I made a cake, got y'all sumn too.." His voice was small as he spoke to his brother, avoiding eye contact as he lifted his gaze.
Bo's face fell from anger to neutral as he watched his baby brother fidget, obviously upset from his reaction. "Shit, what th'hell, I reckon I could use a break." He ignored how fast Lester's expression lifted and instead head towards the table where the cake laid, "This car'mel cake?" Bo's eyebrows shot up and Vincent handed him a plate, he was shocked, he didn't know Lester was able to make it. He cut him a nice sized piece with his fork and shoveled it into his mouth.
Okay maybe he got ahead of himself with assuming.
The cake was mealy and the icing was burnt, the fuck did Lester do to this poor cake?
Lester watched as Bo stood there, a bite in his mouth but now chewing. "Well.. i'shure ish a cake" Bo muttered from behind the ruined dessert, trying to not hurt his brother's feelings too bad.
"Oh." Lester felt his shoulders slump and he held back a sigh, he had really really wanted the cake to be decent, "Y'ain't gotta eat it f'is bad.." He mumbled and watched as Vincent chewed his bite very slowly. Bo was quick to swallow, spitting it out would be too rude and he didn't think he could handle his little brother being more upset from the gesture. "Tasted like shit," he laughed and raked his plate in the trash before making his way to Lester, "well, it wasn't that bad but.." he paused, "but I sure do 'preciate it.." Before he could give it a second thought, Bo engulfed his little brother in his arms for a short embrace which Lester was quick to reciprocate. After a little Bo pulled away.
"So, what was that 'bout you gettin' us sumn?"

“What would life be if we had no courage to attempt anything?”
- Vincent Van Gogh
The coffee shop was filled with people rushing to get their caffeine fix before work. You turned around and spilled your iced caramel mocha all over a tall, lanky man in an oversized sweater vest behind you.
“Oh, my gosh, I’m so sorry!” you said, rushing to grab napkins. “I am so, so sorry!”
“It’s fine,” the man assured you, taking the napkins you offered him. “I probably would have spilled coffee on myself at work today anyway.”
“Still, I’m so sorry. I-I have uh, an interview today and I’m seeing my dad for the first time in a while so I’m pretty nervous, and when I get nervous, I get super clumsy.” You awkwardly held your hand out to him. “I’m (Y/N).”
“Spencer,” he said. “Sorry, I have a, uh, germ thing.”
“Let me buy you your coffee,” you offered. “It’s the least I can do after spilling mine all over you.”
~
Spencer ran through the bullpen up to the conference room. He threw his satchel down on the floor next to his chair before flopping into it.
“You’re late,” Hotch said, not looking up from the paper in front of him.
“I know,” Spencer said, breathlessly. “I know, I’m sorry.”
“Well, now that you’re here, we can get started.”
The team, of course, noticed the change in Spencer’s behavior. Morgan decided to be the one to ask about it.
“Okay, what’s her name?” he asked, rolling his chair over to Reid’s desk.
“What are you talking about?”
“You haven’t stopped smiling all day. Even after Hotch stuck you with more paperwork and told us we’d have to stay late tonight. So, who is she?”
Spencer smiled down at his desk. “I met her at the coffee shop this morning. Her name’s-”
“(Y/N)!”
Spencer looked up to see you running towards Gideon.
“Dad!”
Spencer’s jaw dropped when he saw Gideon wrap you in a hug. “How are you, Pumpkin? How was the interview?”
“Uh, I’m not sure. You know how I get when I’m nervous. And I kept thinking about how I haven’t seen you in years and-”
“(Y/N/N), take a breath. You’re rambling.”
“Right. Right.” You exaggerated your exhale. “I’m good.”
“Come on, let’s go to my office. You can tell me about your interview.”
When you followed Gideon up the stairs, Morgan turned back to Spencer.
“That’s her?” Spencer nodded, still in shock. “Oh, Pretty Boy,” Morgan laughed, “what did you get yourself into?”
Spencer was asking himself that same question.
~
“So, tell me about the job interview. Was it really as bad as you thought?”
“I don’t know,” you sighed. “I got all nervous and jumpy, my hands were all sweaty. You know how I get when I’m nervous. I walked into a scarecrow decoration they had in the hallway.” Your father pursed his lips, obviously trying to hold back a laugh. You sighed. “Go ahead.”
“What? No, I’m not laughing!”
“Dad, I love you, but you’re a terrible liar.”
“Come on,” he said, getting up from his desk, still chuckling. “I’ll introduce you to the team.”
You followed your father out of his office. The team was gathered in the bullpen.
“Guys, this is my daughter, (Y/N) Gideon.”
“It’s nice to see you again, (Y/N),” Aaron Hotchner said, shaking your hand.
“You too, Aaron.”
“This is Agent Jareau,” Gideon said, gesturing to JJ. “And Agent Morgan.”
“It’s nice to meet you,” the man said, shaking your hand.
“This is Agent Greenaway,” Gideon said, introducing you to the rest of the team. “Dr. Reid, and Penelope Garcia, our technical analyst.”
“So, what was it like growing up as Gideon’s daughter?” Penelope asked you.
“Oh, you know, it was like any other girl growing up with an overprotective father,” you said. “I was in self-defense classes since I was 3, I wasn’t allowed to go anywhere alone until I was 17, my older brother hogged the bathroom in the morning, and when I started dating, I couldn’t go out with a guy until Dad profiled him.”
“Ooh, that’s rough,” Agent Greenaway said. “How did you deal with that?”
You shrugged. “I was a teenager, and Dad was almost always away for work.” Your dad looked at you. “I mean, I was a perfect angel who never did anything wrong.”
“Yeah, nice try, kiddo,” Gideon said. “We’re gonna talk about that at dinner. Speaking of which, ready to go?”
“Sure, I haven’t eaten all day.”
After you and Gideon left, Morgan turned to Reid.
“So, Gideon’s daughter.”
“Shut up, Morgan,” Spencer muttered, his face red.
~
When Jason came back from his last case, he noticed that you weren’t there. You’d been staying with him until you heard more about the job. Jason thought for a moment before smiling to himself and heading back out.
“Thought I might find you here,” Jason said, sitting next to you on the grass.
You were sitting in front of a gravestone, a vase of fresh flowers on the grass. You brushed your hand over the lettering on the marker. ”I got the job.”
“Well, that’s great!”
“I guess,” you shrugged. “Is it- is it weird that I feel guilty if I don’t visit when I’m in the area?” You smiled, tracing your finger over the name. “I feel like, if I don’t visit, Mom’s yelling at me from beyond.”
Jason smiled. “It’s not weird at all. Especially since you were so young when we lost her.”
You sighed, letting your hand fall back to your side. “Do you think she’s proud of me?”
Jason was shocked by your question. “Of course she is,” he told you. “She’d be so proud of you, pumpkin.”
“Even though I broke my promise to her?” you whispered. “I promised I’d find a cure so no one would have to suffer like she did.”
“(Y/N),” your father sighed, “you were barely 15 when she died. She never expected you to keep that promise.” He nudged your shoulder. “Besides, she’d love that you’re dedicating your life to teaching kids.”
“You think so?”
“I know so. I’m your dad, I know everything.”
You laughed, leaning your head on his shoulder.
~
You settled into the DC area well. You’d become best friends with Penelope Garcia, and you grew closer to the rest of your dad’s team. Even though you weren’t part of the BAU, you were family.
You grew even closer to Spencer, too. Penelope, despite not being a profiler, could tell there was something up. She noticed the glances you’d give him when he wasn’t looking, and vice-versa.
“So, what’s going on with you and Reid?” she asked you over your Saturday morning coffees.
“What are you talking about, Pen?”
“Oh, come on! I see the way you look at him.”
“Wha- the way I look at him?”
“Yeah, you look at him like you’re ready to have his babies.”
“ Penelope! ”
~
The team was in Florida, getting deathbed interviews from Sarah Jean and Jacob Dawes. Gideon was sent in to interview Sarah Jean.
“Do you have children, Agent Gideon?” she asked him.
“It’s irrelevant,” he told her.
“Is it?”
While Hotch interviewed Jacob, Gideon and Reid were looking over the interview with Sarah Jean, looking for anything that might grant her a stay of execution. After some discussion with the team, Gideon headed back in to talk to Sarah Jean.
“Does the strain of your work affect your marriage?” Sarah Jean asked him.
“I’m not married.”
“You wear a ring.”
Jason rubbed the wedding band he still wore with his thumb. “Why would you still be protecting Jacob?” he decided to ask.
“Did you divorce because of putting people like me away?”
“I think you’re innocent,” Jason told her.
“We’re all guilty of something. But it’s… our children who suffer for our sins, isn’t it?”
“You’d have to ask them.”
“How old are they?” she asked.
“27 and 24,” Jason said with a smile.
Sarah Jean smiled. “Do you have pictures of them?” she asked.
“In my office. One of my son, one of my daughter.”
“You don’t carry them with you?”
“No.”
“To protect them. Tell me, Agent Gideon, does this job make you worry about your daughter?”
He nodded. “Every day.”
“Is there anything you wouldn’t do for your children, Agent Gideon?”
He shook his head. “Absolutely nothing.”
~
Spencer was pouring sugar into his coffee when he heard you and Garcia laughing. He turned to see the two of you talking in the doorway.
“Oh, before I forget to ask,” you said, “can you come in on Wednesday as a guest reader?”
“I’d love to!” Penelope said. “I’d love to read to those little angels!”
You smiled and adjusted the bag on your shoulder. “Great! I’ll see you tomorrow morning for coffee?”
“Of course.”
You waved towards Gideon’s office before ducking out of the BAU.
Elle came up to the coffee maker and poured herself a mug. “Why don’t you just ask her out?”
“I can’t do that,” he said, sipping his overly-sweetened coffee.
“Why not? It’s obvious you like her.”
“She’s Gideon’s daughter , Elle. I can’t ask her out.”
“Oh, I get it,” she said, stirring milk into her coffee. “You’re afraid Gideon wouldn’t approve of you dating his little girl.” She tossed the coffee stir into the trash and took a sip of her coffee. “If it’s any consolation, I think if he were to approve of anyone for (Y/N), it would be you.”
“You think?”
“The man loves you, Reid,” she told him. “Plus, you’re just as awkward and dorky as she is, you’re a good match.”
~
Spencer sat at his desk, with only his lamp to light the bullpen. A tabloid magazine sat on top of his case file.
“Hey Reid, you’re lucky they didn’t get a shot of you next to the pool trying to draw your gun. You looked like a drowned rat,” Morgan laughed.
Spencer chewed his lip for a moment. “Did you know that, um, she, uh- I kissed her? In the pool? It’s so weird. It doesn’t even feel like it really happened, you know?”
“Sure. She’s a beautiful young actress.”
“Yeah, but…” he paused, looking at the cover of the magazine, “it didn’t feel right. I felt guilty, almost. I felt like I was crossing professional boundaries.”
“Look, some things you can’t control, even with that big ol’ brain of yours,” Morgan told him with a smile.
Spencer was silent while Morgan put on his jacket. “Hey Morgan? Has there ever been a girl you just… couldn’t get out of your mind, no matter how hard you try? Even when another girl is kissing you?”
“I can’t say I have,” Morgan said. “But if this girl is so heavy on your mind, you should see where it goes.”
“So, you think I should call her?”
“I don’t know, Reid. But I do know you don’t have to decide tonight. I’ll see you Monday, okay, kid?”
“Yeah. Have a good weekend, Morgan.” He sat at his desk, looking at the tabloid. He sighed and threw the magazine in his trash can.
~
Of course, you’d seen the tabloids. You were out grocery shopping when you saw the pictures. You picked up the magazine and scoffed.
“It’s crazy how they invade celebrities’ lives, isn’t it?” the old woman in line behind you said. “That poor boy was probably just at the wrong place at the wrong time.”
“Yeah,” you said, putting the tabloid back on the rack. “It’s crazy.”
The next day at work, one of your coworkers came up to you while you were cleaning paint off the tables.
“So, should we talk about how your boyfriend is supposedly dating a tv star?”
Your face heated up. “He’s not my boyfriend, Hannah. He’s my dad’s coworker.” You heard one of the kids start crying. “Oh, Joshie’s crying again. Maybe you should go find out what happened.”
When the last kid was finally picked up by his grandmother, you were exhausted. But you still had to clean up the classroom. You sighed and started picking up the pretend food and sorting it into the proper baskets.
“Night, (Y/N),” your coworker said.
“Night, Ronnie. See you tomorrow.” You hung the costumes back on the hangers and put them back on the rack when someone knocked on the door. When you looked up, you saw Spencer standing in the doorway, his hands fidgeting.
“Oh, hey, it’s Lila Archer’s secret boyfriend!” you said, pushing up from the floor.
“Please tell me you didn’t buy into those pictures.”
“Well, you know what they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.”
He walked over to where you were gathering stuffed animals and helped you collect them. “It wasn’t what they made it look like,” he said. “She was attracted to me, but it was just transference.” He rubbed the back of his hand, his eyes looking down at the roadmap carpet. “And she isn’t the girl I like.”
“Really?”
“Yeah. Lila didn’t make my heart rate speed up just by smiling at me like she does.” Spencer’s eyes were shining as he talked.
“What else do you like about this girl?” you asked him.
“She’s smart, she’s caring, she listens to me when I ramble on about random facts.” He smiled and looked at you. “She’s one of the only people in the world that calls me Spence. And she’s super clumsy when she gets nervous.” He shoved his hands in his pockets. “You’re the one I want to be with (Y/N). You’re the one I can’t stop thinking about.”
“Damn, girl, if you don’t take him, I will!” Hannah said from the doorway, making you both blush.
“Go home, Hannah,” you said.
“Okay, okay, I’m just saying.”
Spencer chuckled, looking down at his Converse.
“You know, I like you too, Spence.
Spencer’s face lit up. He grabbed the sides of your face and kissed you. When he pulled away, his face was red.
“I-I’m sorry, I don’t know what I was thin-”
“Spencer, shut up,” you said, grabbing his tie and pulling him in to kiss you again.
~
“Guys, conference room. Now,” Hotch said, walking through the bullpen.
Morgan pushed up from his desk, walking up the stairs next to Garcia. “Is it just me, or has Reid been weird around Gideon today?”
“Oh, no, he is,” she said. “He and (Y/N) kissed last night.”
“Wait, so Reid and (Y/N) kissed?”
“Yep.”
“And Gideon doesn’t know?”
“Nope.”
“So everything he’s saying is making Reid uncomfortable?”
“Yep.”
“Should we exploit this?”
“Definitely.”
After everyone settled into the room, JJ started her presentation of the case, with the help of Gideon and Hotch.
“Uh, Gideon,” Morgan said, “When the plane kisses down on the air strip, do you want me to go to the scene with you?”
Spencer’s eyes widened as Gideon looked over Morgan. “Uh, weird way to ask that, but yeah. You, me, and Reid will visit the scene.”
“Do you think we can make out any information from the victims?” Garcia asked.
“Guys, what’s going on?” Hotch asked.
“Nothing!” Spencer said. “Can we just get to the jet?”
Hotch eyed Spencer suspiciously before saying, “Wheels up in 30.”
~
You’d heard about Elle, of course. You’d heard about her injury, investigation, and resignation. Spencer was shaken up about her leaving.
The team was bunkered down at the office when you stopped in with some coffees.
“Excuse me,” you said to the dark-haired woman standing by the printer, “is Agent Gideon in?”
“Yeah, were you meeting with him for this case?”
You laughed. “No. No, I’m his daughter. I’m (Y/N).” You shifted the coffee in your hands to shake hers.
“Emily Prentiss.”
“Oh, you’re the new agent. Dad mentioned there was a new transfer.”
“Well, he should be up in his office,” Agent Prentiss told you.
“Thank you, Agent Prentiss.”
“Please, call me Emily.”
You smiled before climbing the steps to your father’s office. You knocked on the door, waiting for him to answer.
“Come in.” You pushed the door open to find your dad at his desk, his glasses perched on his nose as he filled out paperwork.
“I brought you a coffee,” you said, setting the cup on his desk.
“Thank you,” he said, pulling the hot cup closer to him.
“And I made you some meals for when I go away.”
“(Y/N), you didn’t have to-”
“Dad, you know what the doctor said. Your blood pressure is way too high, and I know you won’t stop this job. The least you can do is stop eating so much takeout.”
“(Y/N)-”
“Dad, I’m serious. I don’t want you dying before you have the chance to walk me down the aisle. At least eat them when you’re home?”
He sighed. “Okay. Alright. What time does your flight leave again?”
“Five in the morning,” you said.
“You’ll call me when you land?”
“Of course, Dad,” you promised.
“Good. Tell Miranda I say congratulations.”
“I will,” you said. “I’m gonna go deliver these coffees to Penelope and Spencer.” You walked out of his office, closing the door behind you. You walked into the BatCave, setting the mocha frappuccino on her desk. “Last coffee before I go to Maine,” you said, sitting in Penelope’s spare chair.
“You better show me those wedding pictures, you know I love weddings,” she said, sipping her coffee. “Are you gonna talk to Reid before you go?”
“Sure, I have to give him his coffee.”
“No, (Y/N), are you going to talk to him about the kiss? It’s been months and you two still haven’t talked about it.”
“Hey, it’s not my fault you guys are always on a case.”
“Garcia, conference room,” JJ said, poking her head into the office.
“Speaking of,” you sighed. “I’ll see you when I get back, Pen.”
Before you left the BAU, you left Spencer’s coffee on his desk, a sticky note with a smiley face on top of the lid.
~
“ Hey, Dad, it’s me, ” you said on your message to Jason, “ I got sent straight to voicemail so I’m guessing that means you’re on the jet. I’m just calling to let you know my flight got delayed. There’s a huge storm so the plane is grounded until it’s over. I’ll be home as soon as I can. Love you, bye. ”
“You okay?” Hotch asked when Gideon slipped his phone back into his pocket.
“Yeah. (Y/N) just left a message, apparently it’s storming so her flight is delayed.” He rubbed the bridge of his nose. “Are we any closer to finding Reid?”
“No. But Garcia found a way for us to get a video to him . We can let him know we’re looking for him.”
~
Spencer was struggling. He could feel the little glass bottles in his pocket, and he was itching for them.
“Hey, Spence!” you said, your bubbly voice shocking him as you set a cup of coffee on his desk.
“What’s this?”
“Dad said the last couple of cases were hard on you guys, I thought you might want a pick-me-up.”
He pushed the coffee towards the back of his desk. “I’m fine.”
“Spencer, what’s going on? You never turn down free coffee from Winnifred’s. Are you feeling okay?”
“I’m fine, okay?” he snapped. “Just leave me alone.”
When he saw your face, he knew he fucked up. “Fine. When the Spencer I know gets back, let me know. Goodbye, Dr. Reid.” You walked out of the BAU, brushing passed Hotch and Morgan as they came from the break room.
“What was that about?” Morgan asked.
“Nothing,” Spencer said, pushing up from his desk and walking away from the two.
When you hadn’t visited the office for a few weeks, the team knew something was off. While Morgan talked to Reid, Gideon went to your apartment to talk to you.
“Hey, Dad,” you said when you opened the door. “What’s up?”
“I was gonna ask you the same thing,” he said. “You haven’t visited in weeks.”
“I’ve been busy,” you said, getting a bottle of water and offering it to your father. “Mack wants me to get my Masters, she said I’d be a good academic director.”
“That’s not the reason,” he said, taking a sip of the water. “What happened between you and Reid?”
“What are you talking about?”
“Come on, (Y/N), I’m your dad. I know you have feelings for each other.” Your face turned red and you looked down at your feet. “You’re a grown woman, (Y/N). You don’t need my permission to date anymore. But if you do want my opinion, I think you and Spencer would be a great match.”
“You think?”
“Yeah, I do. Now, what happened?”
You sighed, flopping onto your old, worn out couch. “You’d all been so busy lately, so I decided to bring him coffee from our favorite shop. But he was, he was acting different . And not a good different. When I tried asking him what was wrong, he got all defensive and he lashed out at me. So I told him that when the Spencer I know gets back, he could let me know.”
“Well, I’m not sure that’s going to happen,” Jason said.
“What do you mean?”
Your father sighed, setting the bottle on the old trunk you used as a coffee table. “On one of our cases, he got kidnapped.”
“Oh, my god,” you said, covering your mouth with your hand. “Oh, Spence. No wonder he was different.”
“He needs you to be there for him, even if he doesn’t think he does.” Jason’s phone started ringing. He sighed when he saw the caller ID. “I gotta go. Oh, but before I forget,” he pulled a disk out of his jacket and handed it to you, “happy birthday.”
“What’s this?”
“I don’t know how long this case is gonna be, I might not be home in time for your birthday. Just watch the DVD.” He kissed your forehead before heading out the door.
~
You were curled up on your couch, wrapped in blankets as you rewatched the DVD again. It was all the home movies your family ever filmed from your childhood. You were tearing up as you watched your mom push you on the swings.
“Higher! Higher, Mommy, higher!”
“Hold on tight!”
There was a knock at your door. You paused the video and untangled yourself from your nest of blankets. You peered through the peephole and saw Spencer standing outside, his hands behind his back. You undid the deadbolt and opened the door.
“Spencer-”
“(Y/N), I’m sorry.” He brought his hands back around, showing you a bouquet of flowers- all your favorites. “I shouldn’t have yelled at you like that, I was out of line. I-I wasn’t in my right mind and-”
“Spencer, breathe.” You motioned for him to come in. He handed you the flowers. “Dad told me what happened in Atlanta.”
He rubbed the back of his neck. “He didn’t tell you everything.”
“What do you mean?” You set the flowers on your kitchen counter and sat next to Spencer on your couch.
“Promise me you won’t blow up and get angry.”
“Spence, what’s going on?”
He took a deep breath. “When I was kidnapped, the unsub injected me with dilaudid. It was meant to keep me passive and subdued.”
“And now you’re addicted, aren’t you?” you realized. “Oh, Spencer.”
“I’m getting help,” he assured you. “Gideon kind of, uh, talked a little sense into me.” His hands were fidgeting. “I, I didn’t want to tell you because I thought you might, I don’t know. I thought you might not like me anymore.”
You took his hand in yours. “Spencer, I knew I liked you when I spilled my coffee on you and you didn’t freak out on me. Then I got to know you, and your kind, gentle heart. I don’t think I could ever stop liking you.”
Spencer’s smile came back. His real smile. He turned his head to the tv. “Is that your mom?”
“Yeah,” you said, a sad smile on your face as you hit play.
“You don’t talk about her much.”
“She died when I was in high school,” you said. “After she died, my uncle took over recording family videos when Dad was off on cases.”
“You look just like her,” Spencer told you. “Wait, what’s this one?” he asked.
The camera was pointed at a stage, lights coming up on apartment buildings.
“Oh, this is from when I did Little Shop of Horrors !” you said. “I played Audrey.”
“Wow, really?” He cleared his throat. “I-I don’t mean I think you can’t do it, I just meant I can’t see you letting a man treat you like that.”
You shrugged. “Acting, Spence.”
He laughed and you leaned against him. His face turned pink, but he wrapped his arm around your shoulders. He kissed the top of your head.
~
Your dad left the bureau, for good. He dropped off the map, not even telling you where he was going. Spencer was beyond upset. When he found the letter, he showed up at your apartment, tear tracks down his cheeks.
“Spence, what happened?” You took his hand and gently pulled him inside. “Spencer?” He handed you the letter as the two of you sat on the couch. “Oh, Spencer.”
“He left. He left us. Without even saying goodbye.”
“I’m sorry, Spence.” You wrapped your arms around him and he rested his head on your shoulder. “I know how you’re feeling. I can’t tell you the number of times I expected Dad to be at something, and he wasn’t there. It got to the point where I was surprised if he did show up.”
“How did you deal with that?” Spencer asked you.
You shrugged. “I guess, I just… focused on who was there for me.”
~
Spencer woke up the next morning to his phone blaring. He was disoriented, and didn’t quite recognize his surroundings. Until he looked to his left and saw you laying next to him.
You sat up and rubbed your eyes. “Is that the team?” you asked, your voice still rough from sleep.
“Yeah,” Spencer sighed.
“Go. They need you.”
“But-”
“Spence.” You cupped his face in your hands. “I’ll be here when you get back. I promise.” You kissed him and pressed your forehead to his. “Go save the world, my genius.”
