been thinking recently, what did Kevin think Riko did to Jean?

I mean, Jean said it himself: He used to fight, he used to defend himself and he used to be angry at everything that was happening. But then Riko decided to 'break Jean in' (the wording makes me want to puke) and the fight went out of him. He started to submit, he stopped fighting, and he no longer cared what they did to him because, in the end, he was just their property.

Kevin must have noticed the switch. There was also no way Kevin didn't hear the taunts the others threw at Jean. What did he think when Jean stopped fighting? Did Riko give him some sort of excuse? Was he scared to ask? Did he know?

You know what also doesn't make sense?? People are translating or clarifying the offer katsuki made and saying he was asking Izuku to be a SIDEKICK, and not open/partner at an agency.

Bc they're also saying that in the MHA universe, sidekicks do not get hero ranked. And in the case of being katsukis sidekick, Izuku would be working under Katsuki.

yknow i love transmasc/tboy dirk always and forever but the way some ppl treat transmascness vs transfemmeness in HS's narrative........kinda sucks. like the whole thing about how being transfeminine is a literal transient experience and lets the character in question (any character) truly escape the oppression of HS's narrative-as-a-character which is patriarchal and toxic (lord english, hussie-the-character to an extent. i guess. idk ive seen a lotta ppl lump SI-hussie in w/ this), which is great and does hold weight as an analytical lens esp with how hussie irl is nonbinary. but where does this leave transmasc characters. why are we treating (headcanoned) transfemme HS characters like this and then tbh gleefully dooming (headcanoned) transmasc characters to eternal narrative suffering brought by LE and then mocking them for being ''gross tboys'' full of ''icky testorerone'' so its their fault theyre in this perpetual torment really? because they ''''chose to be a man''''? dunno man its starting to feel bad. especially since some bnf's who are really into this fan theory do actually kinda treat the general idea of transmasculinity like somthing to hold with tongs at arms length away from them. as if its alien or infectous or something and then get really mad when equally dysphoric transmascs do the same with feminity. why are we dooming dirk strider to eternal toxic-masculine suffering and what does that say about how we treat real life transmasc folks both in and outside of the fandom

As someone who just like discovered this piece of work about 5 months ago (and is currently running on a few hours of sleep) , this show's quality, the blood and sweat put into this show is indescribable. It's one of the many indie animations that DESPERATELY needs the damn attention because holy shit. Because you're telling me that two whole ass people are literally just running the show. two. compared to a whole staff., producers, writers, marketing team, financial team etc. YOU KNOW...WHAT A BIG SHOW WOULD HAVE. And it's just those two doing all that. Wrangling in the animators and voice actors, having to figure out how to budget for everything, a long list of things that normally a big show production has? Listen, this show. this funny ass, spectacular show, that is being carefully crafted and constantly improving every damn episode with both direction in animation and writing, needs to succeed. Because genuinely, (and I know I don't need to explain why in this current time for animation) this really need supports from the audience, cause as Queen put it so beautifully, Youtube is crap with their algorithm and earning the money back for each episode's budget. HONESTLY I genuinely wish I could explain better cause all this doesn't make sense but POINT IS Monkey Wrench is the 'diamond in the rough' of indie cartoons right now on Youtube, Newgrounds, whatever. For a billion reasons and more, this entire show has inspired me, grabbed my damn attention because seriosuly, I really think more people should give it a chance and you know SHARE AROUND. It ain't perfect, but by fucking god you can't deny that there is so much potential, and theyre just getting started.

Things about the metric system that confuse me

Why are there 16 parts to an inch. Like yeah it's divisible by 4 but decimals and percentages on a system based on 100 are so much easier to calculate than fractions.

BECAUSE of your dumb inches and sixteenth and fractions, nothing else makes any fucking sense to remember. What's an inch? 16 little notches. What's a foot? 12 inches. What's a mile? 5,280. How the FUCK does anyone remember that. You know what's easy to remember? 10 millimeters are 1 centimeter. Do you know what centimeter means? 1/100th of a meter. You know how many of them are in a meter? 100. Easy shit

Okay this one is at Imperial but whose tablespoon is a tablespoon based off. Why are tablespoons and teaspoons both distinct measurements, they're fucking spoons. They're almost the fucking same. Like if you had "inches" and "binches" and binches were for no reason at all 1/42nd smaller and you only used them for measuring sawdust. Fuck completely off

Okay actually still looking at Imperial and speaking of Teaspoons and Tablespoons, the names don't indicate anything. How would ANYONE simply deduce by name which is bigger or smaller. Why would a spoon for food be bigger than a spoon for a drink. They both gotta fit in your fucking mouth don't they
