GOD, I didn’t think about it, but you’re so right. The Blight Twins’ comments really do sound like hunt/low shippers’ attempts at sinking the ships. In case you didn't knew - Clown (the creator of Welcome Home) is currently going through horrible things, outside and inside of the internet. They are being put under too many stressful situations with their feelings being constantly invalidated, his requests and boundaries ignored and their integrity being threatened.

As the Anon just mentioned - Clown is getting fan doxxed, people are doing proshipping and nsfw content even after they asked to not to do anything like that to their characters, there are users creating content about the show and planning on selling them even when Clown asked to not do that, there are users that are pretending to be them on other plataforms (like Tiktok, instagram, etc.), and so much more.

And yes - "it is something common in the internet" but Clown is expressing loudly how attacked they are feeling. Maybe not everyone had ill intentions on wanting to hurt Clown or not give a shit about what they are putting as boundaries - but there are so many out there that have SEEN how Clown is getting affected with everything and are not doing anything to change the situation or support them.

His project - the one that they have crafted with their bare hands and loved so dearly - is getting tainted and preyed away from their hands.

So, with that said... I've come with a decision that I hope you understand - I'm going to stop doing Yandere content about Welcome Home, and I'll stop doing yandere content in general.

As much as I love doing Yandere content in general and how much I liked doing said content for Welcome Home - it is not worthy if I am putting my 'grain of sand' to Clown's stress.

Yes, I may not have been doing sexual/nsfw things with Welcome Home, I may not have been creating content about them to later on sell it, I may not be trying to steal Clown's identity on internet or dox them, I may not have been writting really dark stuff (like r@pe or shit like proshippers have been doing lately) - but still. Yandere content, even when it has been all pure fiction and I do not condone it, it's abuse content in the end.

Why? Well - things like kidnapping, harassment, obsessive behavior, threats, and so much more are part of the whole ""yandere asthetic"". And I don't think Clown would feel comfortable if their characters are being written as that - even less Wally.

Yes, I know - Welcome Home is supposed to be a horror project, but there's a difference between the type of horror content Clown wants in the project and the type of horror content we put on it. It is not our project, nor our characters - and if Clown is telling us to not do something, then we must be decent human beings and actually listen and do what they are asking.

And believe me when I tell you I was having so much fun doing this and so happy recieving so many positive reactions on the things I've wrote - hell, I swear I've never been so active as a 'content creator' in a long while! You can see how much work, effort and creativity I've been pouring on this blog and specially on the Welcome Home yandere content!

But nothing of that is wrothy, not if I'm part of the problem - not if I'm hurting Clown some way or another. Because - fuck, I was partially ignoring Clown's boundaries! And it is my decision to stop doing that.

Horrificator? Mocking Mylène for being scared to the point of making her cry and hide in the restrooms.

Dark Blade? Forced all other students to not even compete to be class representative. Was set to tarnish Marinette's reputation by learning the content of her diary and reveal it to everyone.

Kung Food? Sabotage Marinette's uncle's soup in a culinary competition.

Reflekta? Ensures that Juleka is not on the class picture so she can have her place next to Adrien. Also, spied and was ready to report Marinette's action to Mr. Damocles.

Pixelator? Mess with the class affected roles, putting Alya in charge of sorting thrash at the main dumpster and for Marinette to be a gofer who will run errands for others.

Princess Fragrance? Tears Rose's letter to prince Ali in front of her. Takes away Marinette's "plushie" and try to give it as a present to prince Ali.

Like, Chloé was clearly a Bully™ in S1. She may not have played bad pranks during S1 (aside the gum on the seat), but she mocked and humiliated other classmates many times and particularly aimed her attacks and comments at Marinette whenever she had a chance. However, unlike the previous years before, Marinette now had confidence to fight back and is not an easy target anymore. And the other classmates have also grown to not stay idle to Chloé's bullshit anymore (see Deflagration). And I wrote in previous post why Chloé is more frustrating and frustrated than ever.

Still, in light of Derision, it is even surprising that the class accepted Chloé to be even present such as during the student film project in Horrificator or the friendly competition between Alix and Kim. Though it is unclear of who invited her. I understand only a very few knew about the prank at the pool, but the cockroaches and other torments Chloé inflicted to Marinette was known. And tbh, while Thomas and Sébastien were there from the beginning as Show Creator and Writing Director respectfully, it is not unbelievable they themselves didn't have a clear idea of the extent of Chloé's bullying then. Even they maybe didn't yet figured what Chloé could be capable of while working on S1. But that is fan speculation. I'm not behind the scenes. At any case, I'm thorned between "part of this episode should have been brought up earlier" yet loving the timing of the discussion between Marinette and Adrien at the end about trauma and healing and the fact they can still date and take the time and it goes so well with the relationship stage they currently are in as it happened during the episode of their first official date.

Anyway, I too was open for Chloé to change slowly by the end of S2 and eventually admit that she was wrong of treating Marinette and the other classmates like dirt, but during S3, I've realized that unlike all them, Chloé was heading in a different direction. Realizing how much of a warning flag Despair Bear was. During S2-S3, Chloé accepted to mellow down and do the minimum required, but only if there was a reward for her at the end. The Bee Miraculous was her sole motivation to be decent. And that only carries on for the time it would last AKA as long as the reward is there and was satisfying. And when Chloé permanently loses her access to the Bee Miraculous, I've written before S4 how it would not be the rock bottom for her yet. That is was just the beginning of the end for her.

Chloé, as a character, is motivated since S1 by status which she associates with power. Since Chloé cannot be a superhero anymore and blames and hates Ladybug for it, I'm interpretating that her character is now more than ever clinging to elite and privileged club she grew up in thanks to her parents as it is still in her reach. She fully embraces the rules and mentality of this privileged elite club.

Still, if you are looking for a character's redemption, Sabrina is starting to engage herself in that trail. She assisted in a lot of Chloé's mischiefs in the past and still is putting with all the crap she still gets in this toxic relationship but it feels like this is about to change. Right now, Sabrina is only in the self-reflection stage, but it is a first step. She obviously didn't like Chloé's answer at the end of Derision. In Perfection, you see that Sabrina is affected upon hearing Chloé said that her best friend position is going to Lila. At least, I think it is worth to keep an eye on Sabrina this season.

hmmm there’s so much to choose from… this is weird but i’m gonna say like. character deaths. i feel like people vastly overestimate and exaggerated how sad these deaths supposedly are and i’m NOT saying this to be edgy and i DO think some of them are really sad okay like. the first couple hit!!! benny and barb and bob all make me emotional even if barb’s actual death scene does make me laugh bc they literally interspersed clips of her dying with stancy fucking which is hard to take serious. but like i cannot for the life of me relate to people who are sad alexei died. who are sad chrissy died. even eddie’s actual death scene is so hollow and forced to me that the scene itself doesn’t make me sad in the slightest and i Only get emotional thinking about the hypothetical feelings of the other characters, which we didn’t even get to see!!! ppl will inevitably be sad when the designated Born To Die character in s5 dies. i feel like st saw how much barb and bob affected people and they were like oh let’s do that every season then! but barb was sad because she was nancy’s childhood best friend and we spent a lot of time examining nancy’s grief over it, bob was sad because he offered hope for joyce that she could have a safe and stable life and his death was like ripping away her last shred of hope. alexei and chrissy to me aren’t developed or integral to the story nearly enough for me to be sad that they’re dead i’m SORRY

22. your favorite part of canon that everyone else ignores

ugh lucas’ storylines……s1 baby lucas so intent on getting his missing friend back that he goes to stake out a government lab BY HIMSELF and struggles to trust an outsider who he instinctively blames for the horrors until he empathizes with her and ultimately becomes her bestie…..s2 lucas developing feelings for max but literally being threatened and eventually attacked by her 18 year old racist brother and STILL making sure max knows that she’s a separate person who he cares about…..s3 lucas slaying bc that’s kinda all they let him do that season…….s4 lucas hoping he can thrive in high school and start a new chapter where he can feel socially accepted and kinda make a path for himself with a new interest but now max won’t talk to him and he’s worried about her and terrified for her wellbeing and no matter how much he tries to communicate this to her she continues to self isolate until finally his love for her is LITERALLY what saves her fucking life and also one of his friends dies horribly and it’s only given like 2 seconds of attention even though he’s clearly affected by it. god. all of lucas’ story arcs are so rich and compelling and no one ever wants to talk about him!!!!!!!!!

another thing which is more fandom related is that the Byler fandom is just insanely annoying at times. like i love my mutuals and some of the theories and all but idk, the way we have so many stupid arguments abt small things (think this is just a problem with the entire ST fandom but i’ve not really interacted with the other sects closely enough to see those), the way alotta Bylers don’t just ship Byler bcz they like it/dislike Mlvn bcz they don’t + to us it doesn’t work but are absolutely obsessed with hating Mlvn to a stupid degree. i’ve seen alotta ppl (rightfully) clown on Mlvns for saying that all Bylers r ableist misogynists who hate El from the bottom of our hearts and specifically don’t think autistic/ND ppl can do anything and women are the devil or whatever but then turn around and say all Mlvns r homophobes who hate Will for being gay and hate Mike bcz they misunderstand his character and want him to be miserable or whatever as if that’s any better, and then there’s how so many ppl just tag any post they make as “byler”, ranging from yk, actual posts abt the ship to posts abt the fandom/nothing posts abt the cast to random unrelated ST posts that they idk don’t want those horrible evil mildew shippers finding to shit that’s entirely unrelated to Byler/ST (honest to god a few months ago i was scrolling the tag and had to block someone bcz they were clogging the tag with their random life updates) and yeah idk i’m not sure if this is exactly an unpopular opinion since we all talk a lot abt how toxic the fandom is but idk i feel like no one talks abt the over the top Mlvn hate and the annoying mistagging (at least from what i’ve seen) (also sorry this is kinda long TwT)

There's disliking a ship, and then there's devoting your time to antagonizing shippers...like a loser. Atp bylerblr's not much better than the milevens are. Bylerblr is just a different flavor.

The fandom in general is gross no matter where you go, and honestly I'm glad I've detached from it to work on my own analysis niche.

SOMETHING I WANT TO ADDRESS

And I have to make it clear that this is NOT some sort of attack on these ppl. This is simply me responding to things said about cop Krillin that I've seen before. Ppl have used Krillin being a cop as a reason to hate him (not saying these two hate Krillin). Politics have made ppl either hate all or love all police. There are good cops, but they are just rare. So, I can't say I hate all cops. I just don't care for most of them for many reasons. Now that all that's out of the way, let's continue...

Here is my issue. To preface, I am a black man. If anyone should have problems with police in America, it's black men due to how we are targeted more than anyone else. Do I like police? No. Not most of them. There are the rare few who actually try to help ppl, but they end up getting fired and threatened by the many bad cops who have numbers & power over them. So, now let's look at Krillin with the tags above in mind...

First of all, Krillin being a cop is not horribly out of character. Krillin wants to help ppl and wants to get paid doing so. Otherwise he would have became a vigilante and made no money to support his family. Instead he fights corruption and gets paid to do so. And that corruption can also involve criminals in uniform. Secondly, do we not want good ppl to infiltrate an oppressing system to help assist & save the oppressed? Not infiltrating oppressing systems allow for the corruption and oppression to continue. I am NOT endorsing an oppressive system. I am endorsing for good ppl to make positive changes against and within stystems of oppression. Get enough good ppl in & enough bad ppl out, who is in control now? Not infiltrating corrupts is allowing corruption to get stronger. In a way, that is unknowingly allowing for oppressing systems to flourish & retain their power to indulge in corruption. We need many good ppl with strong wills and convictions in these positions of power because they will not abuse it. And if they do, the other good ppl with strong convictions should hold them accountable & arrest them. Having more good ppl in these positions wont completely stop corruption, but it will prevent & diminish corruption.

I'm not pro police. I'm anti corruption. So if good ppl can get in these positions that corrupt ppl have and make positive changes, I'm all for it.

I may have misspoken or been misunderstood. What I meant is this... Krillin is a martial artist. He has fought ppl in OG Dragon Ball during tournaments and knocked them out easily without killing them. Heck, Goku & Gohan done the same to ppl. These ppl are not seriously injured because in the world of Dragon Ball, normal ppl will be okay after being hit by certain attacks. Normal ppl in DB have gotten kicked through walls and were okay. Humans in DB are just more durable than humans in real life. Example being Bulma surviving her vehicle exploding (while carrying a baby) & her being blown around on Namek during battles, the news reporter & the camerman during the Cell Saga who got blown around by Earth shattering attacks. All were unharmed. Spider-man has super strength yet pulls his punches on criminals. And when you look at comics, normal humans often for some reason withstand punches from super humans. And Spider-Man works with the police. Is he bad now? Or is he just trying to get rid of corruption. Because he's fought police too. Now, lets go back to Dragon Ball. Jaco is a space cop. Do ppl hate Jaco? What about Videl? She helped police often and subdued criminals they couldn't. Do ppl suddenly hate Videl now that they remembered she helped police? Same goes for Gohan. Or maybe... police in the world of DB aren't as corrupt as they are in the real world. The Earth is ruled by a dog after all & there are other beastmen and monsters and dinosaurs in the DB world. Its not the same as our own world. Krillin being a good cop DOES NOT mean he is still a bad cop. That is illogical. The rare good cops in real life get threatened & fired by ppl who hold more power than them. Since Krillin literally holds more power than crooked cops, he can do his job properly without fear of getting threatened. Qualified immunity probably doesn't exist in DB either, so this just means bad cops have no protection. This means it's easier to arrest a bad cop, they can get long prison sentences, and they can be prevented from being a cop again. Meanwhile, good cops who don't need qualified immunity can keep doing their jobs without giving citizens issues. No reason to be mad that they made Krillin a cop if he is actually helping ppl. He doesn't attack citizens like bad cops in real life do. He attacks deadly criminals in a city with a bunch of criminal activity. Cause in real life, police in some places don't arrest violent criminals on purpose so that specific communities can be affected in very negative ways. If they actually did their job and stopped violent criminals & didn't harm citizens, there would be less crime and corruption in & outside the police force.

Also, Krillin purposefully holds back on how much power he uses. He's not always at 100% or even 10%. Thats not how ki works in DB. And the two men he "sent flying" were alright and he tied them up. Again, normal ppl in DB are toughter than ppl in real life. One reason is for comedic reasons and the other is because its a fictional world where normal ppl are just toughter.

And this is not "copaganda." That is when you only speak on the positive without including the negative. I included the positive and negative of cops. One being that Krillin actually makes ppl feel safe, meaning that cops often dont make ppl feel safe. Well... certain groups of ppl in real life usually don't feel safe more than other groups due to a corrupt system. And when I said that Krillin is the example that police should strive to be like, that means that police aren't doing that. Also, how do you peacefully apprehend a dangerous person? You have to use some sort of force to apprehend them. Violence isn't always a bad thing. At times, violence is necessary. If someone is attacking your family, you have to stop them with some form of violence. I know I would. I guess Gohan shouldn't be Saiyaman anymore since he's far stronger than Krillin and uses violence to stop criminals. Also this is DB we're talking about, so violence is bound to happen. The Z Fighters beat up Freeza's soldiers in Resurrection F. Violence was necessary against alien criminals/terrorists. Violence is at times necessary for human criminals too.

Krillin is a freaking super human who can blow up the planet using less than 25% of his strength. Him being a good cop simply means he won't be pressured into doing wrong out of fear for his life from other corrupt officers. And Krillin sets the example for other good cops and other cops who follow bad cops out of fear. They see that Krillin is untouchable and knows he won't be pressured into doing wrong. When bad ppl have more power, then more officers are willing to become corrupt to keep their jobs out of fear & also thirst for power over citizens. But if good ppl have more power, then more are willing to do what's right and stay in line out of respect for others as they earn respect. Krillin keeping the city safe doesn't mean he keeps it safe from just street criminals. It means bad cops too because a bad cop is a criminal. So when Krillin arrests corrupt cops, they can't threaten to kill him since he is far out of their league. Nor could they threaten his family since his wife is even stronger than him & his friends are the most powerful ppl in the universe. Protecting the city means protecting them from criminals with badges too. So, with less bad cops who are too afraid of being punished by officer Krillin, the city is safer. Corrupt cops do drug deals and brutalizing citizens in real life all the time. If corrupt cops are doing this in DB, then Krillin is literally changing the system in a similar way that Commissioner Gordon from Batman is one of the few good cops who helps Batman clean up the city of crime and corruption within the police force.

My Final Thoughts...

Do most ppl also blindly hate Commissioner James Gordon, Dick Grayson (Nightwing), Chun-Li, Leon Kennedy, Seras Victoria, Major Motoko Kusanagi from Ghost in The Shell, ect because they are/were police? No. They are seen as likable versions of police by most. And the ones who assist good police aren't looked down upon because they are helping a cop. We can't hate police so much that we would rather defend armed criminals who threaten innocent ppl over a rare good police officer. We should want more police to be like the good examples and find ways to make that happen so that a good cop isn't a rarity. Get rid of the many bad & create a way for more good to be present. But in real life, there are too many politics to make simple changes with police. To change that, more ppl would need to learn about law and politics to get rid of corrupt politicians. THEY are the root problem and many bad cops are the result of that problem.

Krillin is a good example of what police should strive to be like. We don't have to praise all police. Instead, we can praise a good example, state why they are good examples, and constantly state how other cops should do better.

something that's always bothered me is how exactly anyone in mistral found out pyrrha was dead. like, they made a big deal about how the tower going down cut off communications, and she only died after that, furthermore, the last thing ppl saw on the *live national broadcast* was pyrrha killing someone?? why does she get a statue??

So, with Qrow sending James a letter, I think it's easy enough to say 'Glynda probably sent her family a letter' to explain how people knew about Pyrrha's death. But, it's a very good point about her having supposedly killed someone on TV on something that seems to be viewed about as much as the Superbowl. Gonna be honest, just with how horrible and suspicious a bunch of people are, I feel like there would be some people who bought into Cinder's speech completely and viewed Penny as just a super suspicious weapon, and therefore viewed Pyrrha as even more of a hero for 'exposing Atlas' for the super duper bad weapon disguised as a normal student.

There would probably be other people who do unfairly view her as a horrible murderer who killed Penny in cold blood. Other people would probably take the mentality that it was a horrible unfortunate accident. And then there would probably be some conspiracy theorists who come up with wild theories about the whole thing being faked, or having been set up by Ironwood in order to justify the embargo later or something. It makes sense to me that Pyrrha's family would've tried to fight for some kind of acknowledgement of Pyrrha's heroics and sacrifice (though the whole monument statue to her is a whole problem anyway,) but idk, would people have fought it? Would there be people defacing the statue in protest?

I kind of wish that sort of thing had actually affected the story and characters, because it only makes sense that not everything would just go away after the Fall. Public perception would be affected by how things were at the Fall of Beacon. There are people who might think of Pyrrha as the villain in the story. There are other people who would think that Yang was some horrible violent person who broke someone's leg for no reason after she won her battle and then yelled 'that's what you get' at him. There are people who probably heard that Weiss had lost her mind from Jacques and ran away after having a nervous breakdown at a party and trying to attack some poor woman. Other people might know Jaune as that team leader from TV who tried to have a team meeting in the middle of the match and couldn't even make his team remember team attack names. It isn't that any of this would be fair, obviously we as an audience know that Pyrrha never would have hurt a competitor on purpose, that Yang was innocent and Mercury and Emerald had set her up to get her kicked out, and that Jaune's come a ways since volume three, and Weiss's father was an abusive jerk and her 'nervous breakdown' was very well justified and doesn't make her dangerous or anything. But other people don't know that. The average citizen wouldn't know that.

When Jaune flashes his badge at a group of civilians, at least one of them should be wary to follow the guy they last saw yelling 'we're in the middle of a meeting, what don't you get about that?' Maybe one of the Ace Ops could question why Yang is being given a license. Maybe one of the people at Jacques' fancy party should act like Weiss is going to have an emotional outburst. Maybe there would be someone who casually remarks to Nora that they're glad her team has been able to move on after 'what Pyrrha did' and Nora can actually get to express grief and anger.

But instead, it's just kind of, brushed under the rug. The writers sometimes act like everyone has a script, even the random C-listers and D-listers who couldn't know what's going on. Characters only have to deal with consequences when the writers remember.

Hello everyone today I will be about my horrible new son Tönn, à Lazytown elf oc of course.

Tönn, isn't a Numbered Hero (for safety reasons manly) but works just as much. He's a bit erratic, very energetic and active, and as his name implies, he bites A LOT.

As much as he isn't a Numbered Hero, he's still very useful to the Elves, and generally everyone by extension I think. He's use as kind of an attack dog, he'll get his target, and he will track them down until they either quit crime and Villainy on their own, or they're getting dragged to jail byt Tönn (not unscathed).

He deals with criminals and Vilains but mostly bigger ones, those that causes more problems and need help being delt with as some heroes can't do it jt by themselves. He had a lot of "nemesis" but none stuck long enough to proclaim it, either quitting, misteriously disappearing, skipping country or walking themselves to jail.

Has much as he's useful, he doesn't get many Friends, he's on good terms with the Heroes tho, they're nice to him even if they find him a bit weird and deranged. He's actually very friendly and show his affection in weird ways. When he's not working tracking down some poor criminal he likes to travel around to see his friends and watch them work and have fun with them for a bit.

He has a crystal non the less, it's not worked and polished like the others are tho, just a big ol' chuck around his neck, that he use as a pocket knife to craft around or cut apples (and others stuff yk, that involves criminals).

It doesn't bleep much, only if another elf is in danger near him, it only glows and slightly hums whenever he spots his target. Once he saw him this crystal will glows and hums whenever the target is near again ( it only does one target at a time tho)

All in all he like tracking down ppl, he gets to run around and be feral, giving people nightmare fuel and probably scared for life if they get targeted tbh. He doesn't mind getting his hands dirty if the Elven council ask for it.

When not in the job, he's still chaotic, doing a lot of sports to channel his energy. He likes to play pranks on his friends, mostly harmless ones, the most it'll do is make someone scream in surprise. He'll be you're eternal friend if you feed him lemons or give him anything Yellow. He also own a LOT of chew toys, it helps him get the energy out of him when he needs to stay put or is crafting something and can't move around too much.

OK it's pretty much all over the place but hey, at least it's in character. I really love him, almost sad I can't role-play him to express the chaos the man is HAGZGS hope you like my son. If you made it this far, here's a bonus for you :

Cali storyline Pt 3//Jonathan/Wasted potential

At this point I'm just posting all recent rants about this subject because I never posted them. Usually I rant and then edit the hell out of all of it to narrow it down for you guys so I'm not repeating anything, but if I do that, these will never get posted at all so here ya go:

re-cap: So ppl are btcing constantly about how Cali storyline sucked/was a huge waste of time/Jonathan was a horrible person this season ext ext you know the usual---just to explain what I am complaining about:

In S4, Jonathan FINALLY had a storyline that was about HIM as a character. And yes the writers still messed it up because they pushed him to the background and gave him absolutely no screen time. But it was nice to see Jonathan being more than just Nancy's 'accessory' or 'prop' this time around. For once, Jonathan's storyline wasn't all about Nancy. It's actually everything I wanted from a Jonathan storyline:

Jonathan's storyline being about him growing as a person, him with his family, having scenes with him and Will and Mike again [[finally where its actually them interacting and not Nancy talking to them while Jonathan is quiet in the background], making a new friend ext.. instead of is entire storyline being about a girl he has feelings for.

And to be clear no this isn't me attacking Jancy or Nancy, it's just that Jonathan should have his own storyline and be a main character like he was supposed to be instead of a prop in the background that sits quietly and doesn't say anything most of the time in Nancy's scenes. He was supposed to be one of the main characters of this show. Not all the new characters. And since S1, new characters have came in and are more of a main character with more screentime than he has. I get the ppl in charge hate Charlie Heaton but if it was this much of an issue, then just re-cast Charlie. I don't want them to but if thats what they needed to do then make this work then it is what it is.

I still feel like we didn't even get to really know Jonathan yet and now the shows ending. Thats bs. This show was supposed to be about the Byers. Not everybody else that ever breathed in Hawkins. And the writers in the past are like 'well we dont have enough screen time to give to everyone' ok….so then STOP ADDING NEW MAIN CHARACTERS THEN EVERY SEASON WHEN THEYRE NOT NECESSARY...... or….you could make the show longer since a season of your show is only 8h long usually [S4 is just the exception AND another funny thing is that Jonathan/Cali still got barely any screen time even when they made the season a lot longer just want to point that out] But a season of their show is usually 8h long ONLY which is ridiculous. other shows like this are all 22 episodes/ 1h long making it 22h or more in one season. Even DW has at least 14 episode/14 hours worth of episodes a season. If you don't have a lot of screentime to give then stop adding new main characters I guess so you can give screentime to the characters you do have.

Everyone says they hate the Cali storyline/it was a waste it shouldnt have been in there at all: I feel the opposite. The cali storyline should have been a lot longer and it was bs that once again Jonathan who is supposed to be the main character was once again shoved to the background/given very little screentime/and ppl who are new to the show once again get more screentime than him.

So I was happy we finally finally we get to see Jonathan interacting with Will and Mike again which should have been the majority of the show to begin with btw. This show used to be about the Byers family and Jonathan and Will used to be main characters too. They should be front and center not in the background.

It also annoys me when ppl complain about the Cali storyline because its bad enough it only lasted 5 minutes, but you can't even let us have that without shtting on it every five seconds? You dont want to watch it cool then I guess skip over those whole 5 minutes that the Cali storyline actually got then.

I'm glad they finally gave Jonathan a storyline again especially one that contained what they should have been doing on this show the entire time. I continued watching ST in S2 BECAUSE I thought that Jonathan was going to continue being a main character and he was going to have all these scenes with Will and the boys and I wanted to see what Jonathan was gonna get up to next and what kind of adventures Jonathan was going to have. But you’re not going to make ppl pick up the comic with the intent of bashing them for not picking up the comics. Like i get some comics are accessible but not everything are esp when its old prints or lock behind paywall or heck even translated to other languages for the foreign fans.

Like theyre even making me feel bad to even liking the few characters theyre staunchingly advocating for in defense against fanon interpretation despite me reading the comics.

Agreed. Twitter in general is a cesspit, comics twitter is a nightmare. If it's not the gatekeeping dudebros jumping down peoples' throats, it's the comicsgaters and their racist ilk; and if it's not their bullshit, it's the mobs of haters sending creators death threats for daring to (checks notes) do their jobs in literally any capacity, because it's impossible to satisfy everyone and there are always some nutjobs who think that "writing a thing I didn't like" should be a capital offense.

- rhaenyra and daemon both agreeing that 10 years ago she was a child... so you agree you were groomed! So glad we're on the same page lol

- rhaenyra acknowledging that he's her uncle made me laugh "i need you, uncle"

- so, are we gonna talk about how rhaenyra and daemon's marriage is not valid bc they DIDN'T kill laenor? which means... their children also have no right to the throne... i know the characters will never know that, but i just think it's funny.

- rhaenys is the only Targaryen i love in this show. Glad she is aware daemon sucks

- it's really crazy to me how i can say "i understand why alicent is pissed" and someone will be like "SO YOU'RE OKAY WITH HER CUTTING A CHILD'S EYE OUT?" Like no. Thats not what i said. She's obviously not a fantastic parent, but she cares about her kids a whole lot more than viserys does. I think a lot of her anger in that scene was because viserys doesn't even try to see anyone's side other than rhaenyra's. And rhaenyra saying "thank you father" after she gets her way... yeah i'd be pissed too!

- daemon is actually horrible for not entering into that conversation when his two daughters just got attacked? Like jesus christ i know laena was so upset in her grave.

- otto is sooooo evil. I genuinely hate him so much. Alicent is a mess bc she doesn't care about power. Ppl comparing her to cersei makes me laugh... maybe in the books that was the case but definitely not in the show. She is Otto's pawn, and that is so depressing.
