I know the series isn't Canon but Holly and val made an appearance in holiday in harmony, so that means that trollstopia is Canon or their characters are Canon? I'm confused

I feel like that's just them throwing a bone and nodding to trollstopia in general. Are the characters canon? Maybe? But I don't really remember anyone in the special saying the word trollstopia either. I can imagine some people who've never watched the show (and that includes me the first time I watched it) seeing val and holly and just wondering who they are and why theyre here. and that's not really given an explanation, but I don't think anyone would question it more than how they introduced legsly lmao. And with it just being a Xmas special, there'd probably be less people doing it???

that aside, we like to throw around the word canon a lot but I say don't worry too much about it in regards to enjoying the franchise as a whole. Just have fun with em and use em like... dolls. The world is ur oyster!
