I LOVE no voldy!Remus who's just a silly little guy

he doesn't think about what he's saying and he's kind of judgemental but his loyalty has no end, I guess without voldy the hardest test it faces is James and Sirius fighting about their favourite quidditch team.

I do believe in stoner Remus!! But I don't like cigarette smoker Remus because I feel like he's too worried about the full moon to worry about feeling his lungs burning and having to take the time to shakily roll cigarettes... and he hates the smell.

stoner! Rem who's just really clingy when he's high. Is one of his friends sitting next to him? He's pulling them into his lap and burying his head into their neck just to feel their warmth.

he does it with Lily too even after she and James get together- James truly doesn't mind because he loves being cuddled by Remus too. It's not an excuse for Remus to be romantically close to any of them by any means- he doesn't discriminate from Peter to Evan (Barty doesn't like to be held or hold someone other than by the hand so he's cool with it... for the most part) and Marlene to Dorcas, all that matters is their friendship and warmth.

if he had to choose a favourite though, regulus or Lily easily. He loves how they always have a soft smell to them, lily of hibiscus and regulus of different types of weed. Least favourites? Probably Sirius and Evan because they usually reek of cigarettes and because Sirius always moves too frequently to truly be comfortable for Remus so he usually just shoves him off and searches for someone else with heavy-lidded eyes.

I don't think the problem is that people enjoy a platonic relationship. The problem is that if you *do* enjoy a romantic ship and you search the tag for the ship name, you don't want to be inundated with posts of people saying: "I love Moonwater! Platonic only though omg I would never break up Wolfstar and Jegulus!" And this is what happens to us and it makes us cranky.

I really enjoy them as a platonic friendship, too! But I don't want to be shamed for my romantic pairing when I am scrolling the tag for their ship name!

It kinda makes me sad when people get mad at others for only liking a ship platonically. Like, for example, I see this sometimes with Moonwater (Remus & Regulus). I love seeing that friendship so much, it makes me so happy. But then some people get mad because they only like it romantically.

Maybe it has to do with how I hate when people insinuate that romantic love is somehow stronger or more important than platonic love. Platonic love is just as, and sometimes even more, important as romantic love. Loving someone romantically isn't loving that person "more". It's just different. A different type of love. It's not "more", or better in any way. It's just a different kind of love.

Ok this just turned into me rambling about something that doesn't really have anything to do with shipping, but whatever lol
