BTS in Saipan (Part 4)

Back at the resort, the member had a shooting at sunset. The members got henna stickers for the shoot. “This here and here. This one I didn’t see.” Jungkook says, showing us his tattoos. “Isn’t it pretty? Sun and moon. It’s the daydream, everyone.” J-Hope says. RM is the first. “I used to dream about being a graffiti artist. But, that was just a dream.” RM says.

Next, Jimin. Jimin looks very mature. Jimin and RM pose for the camera. Then, Jungkook. He looks good with the red tree. Suga’s turn! “So hot!” Suga says. I laugh. “Yoongi! You’re such a cute little kitty cat!” I say. Suga tries not to blush. I giggle and I go over to him.

“I just wanna squish your little chubby cheeks!”

Yoongi tries not to smile. Next, V. 100 points for V’s mood. Jungkook, Suga, and V all pose together. Jungkook takes a nap after his shoot and Jin doesn’t miss the chance. “Jin, stop bothering him.” I say. “I’m just playing.” Jin says. “He’s sleeping. Let him rest.” I say. Jin uses his tie to bother Jungkook. He laughs. I smile and roll my eyes. “The oldest hyung is being a kid.” I say.

Jin looks at me, shocked.

“Hey!”

I laugh.

“Well, you’re bothering Jungkook while he’s sleeping.”

Jin pouts.

“You’re no fun.”

I smile.

“I’m just saying don’t bother the members when they’re sleeping.”

Then, it’s Jin’s turn. I watch him pose for the camera. He’s so handsome. “So handsome!” I say. Jin gets flustered and laughs.

“Don’t get distracted by me! Keep posing! Work it, Jin!”

Jin laughs.

“So hot...”

“Navya, I can’t focus if you embarrass me!”

“I’m sorry, Jin! I can’t help myself! You’re just so...handsome...and hot. Also, isn’t this the same Jin who was fishing for Jungkook?”

“That was cute Jin. Now, it’s hot Jin.”

I cover my mouth with my hands.

“Oh my god, Jin.”

J-Hope and Jin pose together. Then, J-Hope takes solo shots. Meanwhile, Jin and Jungkook enjoy each other’s company. Jin was trying to fight Jungkook with his fists. “You’ll get sweaty again.” Jungkook says. V and RM look at Jin like he’s weird. I laugh. “I think V and RM think the oldest member of BTS is weird.” I say. Then, I burst out laughing. The other members all laugh. “How about I fight you, Navya?” Jin asks.

I gasp.

“You want to fight me? A girl?! Are you gonna beat me up?”

“Ah, I won’t go that far. I can’t do that to a girl who has me as their bias and bias wrecker.”

“Oh, so you’ll beat me up if you weren’t my bias and bias wrecker? What if Suga’s my bias and bias wrecker? Then are you gonna beat me up?”

“No, I still can’t do that to you. Besides, the other members will scold me if I do that.”

Jin chuckles.

“Suga will actually kill you.”

“Yeah, I know.”

We both laugh.

Then, the members all gather together for some group photos. “ARMY is gonna go crazy when they see this in the summer package. I guaranteed you.” I say. “Did you go crazy?” J-Hope asks.

“A little.”

Everyone laughs.

Finally, the shoot is over. “Man, I worked up an appetite.” Jin says. “Let’s get some dinner.” Suga says.

“Wow, everything looks so good in Saipan!” I say. “Everything I had so far was delicious here. This is gonna be delicious, too.” V says. “If I can eat, then anyone can eat.” RM says. “I had so much fun at the Grotto.” J-Hope says. “I wanted to go really bad. I’ve never explored underwater before in my life.” I say. “You can see the view while snorkeling. It was beautiful.” Suga says.

“It’s not just the cave. You can see the deep sea.” J-Hope says. “Really?” Jimin says. “Yeah, the deep sea is amazing.” J-Hope says. “You can also see the sea and the sea shining.” Jungkook says. “That’s not all. The sunlight comes through the cave and it’s really amazing.” J-Hope says. “That sounds like so much fun! I wanna go now!” I say.

“It was like a movie.” Jimin says. “It really was like a movie.” J-Hope says. “Next time I come back to Saipan, I’m definitely trying the Grotto.” Jin says. “Count me in, Jin! I bet it’ll be an amazing experience.” I say. Finally, we finish our meal and head out. “I even got flowers and I’m so full now. Summer package is the best.” J-Hope says. “It was delicious, everyone. It’s revolutionary.” Jin says, showing a thumbs up.

“The food is really good here. Delicious, to be more specific.” I say. “I would’ve eaten more, but I got full and I didn’t want to overdo myself.” Jin says. laughing. “Hey, me too! I got full all of a sudden.” I say. Then, we both laugh. We all head back to the resort.

“I had so much fun that I don’t even know where to start.” I say. “Me neither. So much has happened in the past 24 hours.” Jin says. I see Jin changing into his swimsuit.

“Where are you going?”

“Oh, I’m going for a night swim in the pool.”

“I thought you couldn’t swim in that.”

“Yeah, but now I can. Wanna come?”

“Why? Are you scared to be alone in the dark?”

“No! It’s just that...I don’t want to be lonely. I want some company.”

“Fine, I’ll come, but you better not ask me to be in the water at night. It’s cold.”

Jin chuckles.

“Alright, fine. Let’s go.”

“Wow, the pool looks beautiful at night with all the lights.” Jin says. “Yeah, it does.” I say.

“You know, you’re missing out on all the fun.”

“I already told you. I don’t want to go in the pool at night. It’s cold.”

“Suit yourself. Cannonball!”

Jin jumps into the water and splashes me.

“Hey! You splashed me!”

“What’s wrong with getting a little wet?”

I roll my eyes. I sit on a chair and watch Jin swim. To be honest, it DID look fun. I was getting bored just sitting there. “The water’s warm, Navya! Come on!” Jin yells.

“It does look fun, though....fine, I’ll join in.”

I stand up and walk over to the edge of the pool. But then I realize something. I can't swim.

"On second thought, how about I just watch you?"

"Oh come on! It'll be fun!"

I look at him.

"It sure does look fun. But I'm scared that I'll go under." I thought.

I back away.

"What's wrong?"

I bend down on my knees.

"I can't swim."

"Oh. Well, how about I catch you?"

"No no. It's fine. I'll just stay out here."

"It's okay. I'll be right here."

Then he smiles at me.

My heart was literally pounding out of my chest. I was a nervous wreck.

"Well, okay." I say, walking towards the pool.

I take a deep breath and jump in.

"Ahhhh!"

My feet couldn't touch the bottom cause it was deep.

"Jin!"

I close my eyes.

"Hey hey. It's okay. I got you. I got you. Relax. Relax against me."

He puts his arms around my waist. I put my hands around his neck.

"You alright?"

"I think so."

I stare at him.

"You did it!" Jin says. "I did it!" I say. "The water feel nice, doesn't it?" Jin asks. "Yeah. It feels wonderful. And weightless." I say. "It's because I'm carrying you. And the water too. We're both carrying you." Jin says. We were spinning around. "Jin, don't let go!" I say, grabbing on. "It's okay. It's okay. I'm never gonna let you go." Jin says.

I look at him. He looks back at me. Suddenly, I felt calmed now. I sigh. "I feel so ashamed of myself. Not being able to swim." I say, looking down. "It's okay. You're not the only one who can't swim." Jin says. "I guess you're right." I say.

“Besides, you saw me how I struggled to swim on the first day. J-Hope had to save me.”

I laugh.

“Yeah, that was hilarious, but I still can’t deal with the guilt. I’m all grown and I should know how to swim.”

“Navya, look at me.”

I look up at Jin, right in his beautiful, chocolatey eyes.

“It’s okay if you can swim. Lots of people don’t know. That’s how you learn.”

“But-”

Jin puts a finger to my lips.

“No buts. No one is gonna tease if you can’t swim, okay?”

“Okay. Thanks, Jin. You’re an amazing friend.”

I squeeze him tight in a hug.

Jin smiles.

“Anytime. And, you’re also an amazing friend.”

I smile. Jin smiles back.

Then, we both lock eyes.

“Should we get out now?”

“Yeah...in a minute.

Our faces get lean in. Then, Jin lowered his head, his eyes slipping shut as he brushed his soft, plump lips against mine. God, his lips were amazing. He pulled me closer, making our bodies touch. Then, Jin’s tongue parted my lips as his hands kneaded my hips. We break and look at each other. “Wow...t-that sure was something.” Jin says. “Yeah... I-I wasn’t expecting for this to happen.” I say.

“Me neither. I think we should get out now. It’s pretty late.”

“Good idea.”

Jin and I get out and dry ourselves with towels. Then, we go back inside to our suite. We change into our pajamas and get into bed.

“Good night, Jin.”

“Good night, Navya.”

We both fall asleep.

“Wait, Navya. Are you awake?”

“Yeah. What is it, Jin?”

“I just wanted to say...I-I enjoyed the kiss we had.”

My eyes widen and my heart starts pounding.

“R-really? S-same here. Jin, you there?”

No answer.

I turn around and see Jin fast asleep. He looked so cute. I yawned and fell asleep beside him.

The next morning, the sun was bright today, so we all took pictures at the pool. “It’s such a beautiful day today!” I say. “I can’t wait to have fun in the sun!” RM says. Jin got on the watermelon floatie. “Ouch, it’s too hot! Too hot! Help me!!! Wait!” Jin says. The tube got hot under the sun.

“Wait! Please pull me! Ouch, it’s hot!!!”

We all laugh. “It’s just heat, Jin! Can’t you deal?!” I ask.

“No, it’s steaming hot! I didn’t know the tube was gonna get this hot!”

I laugh and roll my eyes. RM puts his hat on. “It’s so hot!! Ah!!! Compared to this, Korea has not summer! Ah!!!!!” He says. “I think it must be at least 47 degrees...” Jin says. “Yeah, it’s pretty hot.” I say. We get ready for the shoot in heat. “I think this is the only place we can take pictures.” J-Hope says.

Finally, the unit shoot starts. RM, Jin, and Jungkook were first. Then, Jin’s tube starts drifting away. “I’m drifting, drifting.” Jin says. The other members get on floaties. Then, Suga falls off the tube! We all crack up laughing. “I told you to hurry!!! Why didn’t you hurry up?” Suga says. “Poor Yoongi! Or, should I say poor Little Meow Meow?!” I shout. Everyone cracks up even more, especially me.

“Navya, stop embarrassing me!” Suga says. “I’m sorry, Yoongi! I can’t help myself!” I say, still laughing. “Let’s take each other’s photo.” J-Hope says, getting in the pool.

“One, two, three!”

“Now, let me get your hips.”

“Did you get it?” Jimin asks.

“Nope! Shine! One, two, three! Jimin, one, two, three!”

Next, the members all gather together and sit at the end of the pool for some group photos. I couldn’t stop staring. They looked so good! “Oh my god, you all look so handsome!” I say, jumping up and down. They all laugh. After they finish, Jin comes up to me. “Navya, I know that we’re all handsome, but aren’t I even more handsome?” Jin asks.

I chuckle.

“You all are handsome. There’s no competition here.”

“I know, but I am Worldwide Handsome.”

Jin puts his index finger and thumb on his chin and a smile appears on the corner of his lips. I giggle.

I smack him in the arm.

“Jin, what am I gonna do with you?”

“You don’t have to do anything with me. Instead, I’ll make you laugh. Really hard.”

I roll my eyes.

“Hey, you guys! Stop flirting with each other and come over here!” V says.

We both look up.

“We’re not flirting!” We both say, but Jin says it in Korean and I say it in English. We both look at each other and shrug. We head over to the other members. “Ready or not, rock, papers, scissors!” Jungkook says. “Three losers will ride the tube!” Jimin says. We all play and RM, Jungkook, and J-Hope are out. Jin and I are out.

Suga and V are the only two left. They share their tactics. They kept on showing the same thing. “What will you show?” Suga asks. “I’ll show rock.” V says. “Ready or not, rock, papers, scissors!” J-Hope says. V shows paper. “You said you’ll show rock!” Jimin says. “Wait, wait! What will you show?” V asks.

“I’ll show rock.”

“I’ll show paper.”

“Ready or not, rock, papers, scissors!”

“Oh my god! Taehyung!” I say.

“Ready or not, rock, papers, scissors!”

Suga has to ride the tube. We all laugh clap. Just before Yoongi gets on the tube, there’s sudden rock, papers, scissors. “Going in the water without a tube, rock, papers, scissors!” Jungkook says. “I’m scissors!” Jin says. “Nice!!!” Jimin says. Yoongi has to go in the water now! We all crack up laughing. “You guys are so cruel to Yoongi! I can’t even!” I say, still laughing.

The members gather for more photos. J-Hope, RM, V, and Jungkook were standing. Jin and Jimin were on floaties, with Yoongi in the water. Jin on the duck and Jimin on the watermelon. “Come up on your own!” RM says. “I’m coming!” Jin says. RM helps Jimin off of the tube. I go over to Yoongi. “I feel so bad for you.” I say. “I feel bad for myself, too.” Suga says. I laugh.

“Not gonna lie, it was pretty funny.”

A smile spreads across Yoongi’s face.

“I guess it was pretty funny.”

Then, we all relax on chairs. “The shoot’s over! Now, we can chillax.” I say. “I have an idea, but it involves Navya.” J-Hope says. “What do you have in mind?” Jimin says.

“Navya can pose for some solo photos.”

“That’s a great idea! Navya, you should do it!” V says. “No, I can’t! I’m too shy! I don’t even know how to pose! Besides, I’ve never done it before!” I say. “It’ll be fun! You can be on the tube and pose for the camera!” Jungkook says.

“Won’t I fall in?”

“Trust me. You won’t. Once the shoot is over, we’ll help you get off the tube.”

I purse my lips think for a minute.

“Okay, I’ll do it!”

The members cheer and clap.

“What tube do you want?” Suga asks.

“I want the ducky. It’s cute with sunglasses.”

Everyone laughs. The members help me get on the tube.

“I really don’t wanna get wet, guys! Like Yoongi!”

“You won’t fall in! Trust us!” RM says.

“Well, okay.”

“Navya, pose for the camera!” Jin says. I turn and see the camera, pointed at me. I really didn’t know what to pose. I just smiled and was cute. “Wow, so cute!” Jimin says. “Navya, you’re so cute and adorable!” V says. I laugh and get embarrassed.

“You’re embarrassing me!”

“Navya, be hot now!”

“No way!”

“Please?! For your friends?”

I sigh.

“Fine, but you guys better not embarrass me again!”

I turn all serious and pose for the camera. I even put my hair in different ways.

“Whoo, it is just me or is it getting even hotter here?!” Suga shouts. I try not to get even more embarrassed and ignore Yoongi’s comment. “I think it’s Navya’s hotness!” Jin says. Then, he laughs. I gasp.

“Jin! Be quiet! For the love of god!”

“Hey, Navya?!” J-Hope says.

“What?!”

“Why so serious?!”

Everyone laughs.

“I have to be serious when I pose!”

Finally, the shoot was over.

“Um, how do I get back?”

“Just push yourself with the tube. It’ll move.” RM says. The tube moves when I push. I get to the edge of the pool.

“Finally! Now, I can get out!”

“Just a minute. I want to get on the tube.” Jin says.

“Why?”

“It’s our last day in Saipan. Might as well get on the tube one last time.”

“That’s true. Come on.”

“Be careful, hyung.” Jungkook says.

“I will.”

Jin gets on the tube with me and it drifts away.

“It’s drifting away.” I say.

“We can get back. Don’t worry.”

“How?”

“Like this.”

Jin pushes me off the tube and I fall into the water. Everyone gasps.

“Jin!!! What the heck?!!! I’m soaking wet!!!”

Jin cracks up laughing so hard and starts clapping his hands together.

“Oh my god! Jin-hyung!” Jimin says.

“Two can play at this game!”

I flip over the tube and Jin falls into the water. I crack up laughing so hard and clap my hands together.

“Navya!!! I’m all wet!!!”

“That’s what you get for doing it to me! I thought I wasn’t gonna get wet, but I did!”

“Come here!”

Jin splashes water on me.

“Hey!”

I splash water on him.

“Hey!”

We both splash water on each other back and forth. It was really fun, to be honest. We both were laughing so hard. “Okay, okay! That’s enough! Let’s get out now.” Jin says. “Yeah, I’m so exhausted.” I say. We both get out. “Jin, what was that about?!” RM says. “Yeah! You just flipped Navya over into the pool!” J-Hope says.

“I know I did! I’m aware!”

“Wait, did you only get on the tube with me just so you can push me into the water?!” I ask.

“Maybe.”

My mouth drops open and I gasp, including the other members.

“Jin! I’m going to kill you!”

I punch him in the arm.

“Hyung, seriously?!” V says.

“Hey, it was my only chance!”

“Why me?! You could’ve pushed someone else!”

“I didn’t think of that.”

We all groan.

“You’re so mean! I’m so mad at you!”

I walk away to dry myself. The other members cross their arms and give their oldest hyung a look. “Great. You made Navya mad.” Jungkook says. “She must be really furious at you right now.” V says.

“I didn’t mean to make her angry.”

“You gotta make it up to her before we leave.” Suga says.

Jin felt bad. He didn’t mean to push me into the water. It was just for fun, right? To him, it was, but to me, it wasn’t. He has to find a way to forgive me. Anyway, after we finished the shoot, we played a game since it was our last day in Saipan. We played Speak with your body. We will pick 1 out of 3 subject randomly. Each of us will explain the word with our body in turn. We have to answer at least 7 correctly within 100 seconds.

It was pretty fun guessing the emotions. J-Hope was really good at this game. He guessed almost every answer. We succeeded with 8 correct answers. “I really wanna go to the Grotto.” RM says. “Me too. I wonder if we can.” Jimin says. “I think we can. What do you say, Navya?” Jin asks, looking at me. I cross my arms and glare at him.

“I would love to go. I think it’ll be a wonderful experience.”

We decided to go. After finishing early, our team got dressed and went to see the Grotto with the help of the staffs. “We’re off to the Grotto now!” Jin says. “We’re going after all.” RM says. “To be honest, we may never come back here.” Jimin says. “Yeah, that’s true. At least we get to see it now.” I say. Once we get there, we put our life jackets and snorkels on. Jin was excited when he was in the water.

“I’m a little nervous. I’ve never went under the water before.” I say. “It’ll be okay. Besides, you’ll be with your bias.” RM says. I was confused, then I realize.

“I’m still mad at him.”

“I know. He’ll make it up to you. You’ll see.”

“I wonder how.” I thought. We all jumped into the water and went under. I couldn’t believe my eyes. It was truly amazing and beautiful.

Just like J-Hope said, it was a movie. We said hi to the camera and made donuts in water. It was really fun. I made a donut. “Oh!!! Oh!!! Oh!!!” Jin and Jimin say.

Everyone claps. Once we were done, we got out and headed to the parking lot. “Now that we’ve seen the Grotto, my wish is fulfilled.” RM says. “That’s right. It was beautiful.” Jin says.

“I didn’t see the sunlight because I was busy making donuts.”

“Now I see why the other members said that one must see the Grotto in Saipan.” Jimin says. “Me too.” RM says.

“It was really cool.”

“We look ugly. Let’s turn off the camera for your own good. We’ll see you next time. Adios!” RM says. “Adios!” Jin says. “What do you mean you look ugly?! You three look great! I’m the one who looks ugly.” I say. Jimin laughs.

“Navya, you’re too nice.”

“Look at my hair. It’s wet and curly. Your hair, on the other hand, will make ARMY’s heart flutter.”

RM laughs.

“I mean, it could.”

“Navya’s always complimenting us. That’s why I like her.” Jin says. We all look at Jin, surprised. “You like her?” Jimin asks.

“Not like that!! As a friend!! Why are you guys assuming that?!”

Jin’s face gets red.

“Whatever. Let’s go.” RM says. We get into the van and head back to the hotel. I couldn’t help but think about what Jin said. He likes me? As a friend? I would ask him, but I’m still furious at what he did. Also, Jin looked hot as fuck with his hair wet. Jimin and RM headed back to their hotel room and Jin and I head back to our suite. I didn’t even speak to him for the entire walk. I had my arms crossed the entire time. I didn’t even look at him.

Jin unlocked the door and we went inside. We removed our shoes and dropped our wet towels in the laundry. Jin cleared his throat.

“Navya, I’m sorry.”

I look at him.

“Saying sorry isn’t gonna help, Jin. Better try harder.”

“Navya, I’m really sorry. Really. I didn’t mean to push you into the pool. I thought you would laugh.”

I got really mad now.

“You thought I wouldn’t get mad!!!? Really!!!? Maybe you should’ve thought a second time before you did it!!!”

Jin eyes widen. I gasp. I’ve never snapped at someone before. I swallow and calm down.

“I’m gonna take a shower now.”

I grabbed a fresh pair of clothes and headed into the bathroom. I could feel Jin’s eyes watching me. I ignored him. I locked the door and turned on the shower. I removed my wet swimsuit and waited for the water to get warm. It was pretty embarrassing just standing there, naked. I wonder if Jin has ever thought-SHOWER. TIME FOR A RELAXING SHOWER.

I stepped into the shower and washed my hair. I felt so relaxed after what happened. I needed this. I thought I was gonna fall asleep. It was so calm and quiet that I closed my eyes. I could only hear the shower running and nothing else. I was so relaxed and calm that I didn’t hear the bathroom door open. Then, the shower door opens. I open my eyes and see Jin, naked.

“Jin, what are doing?!”

“I thought of a way to make it up to you.”

“Whatever it is, can’t it wait?”

“Nope. It’s too late for that now.”

Jin walks up to me and I back up against the wall. He puts his hand on the wall beside me. I could feel his breathe touching the skin of my face. The shower was still running and Jin was getting wet.

I look right into his eyes and see a mischievous glint. I was confused.

“Does this answer your question?”

Jin cups my face with his hand, leans in and kisses me. He breaks and I giggle.

“Yeah. Also, can you promise me something?”

“Of course. What is it?”

“Next time you and I have sex, go easy on me. It really hurts and I think I’m sore.”

Jin laughs.

“I will. Just so you know, you’re the one who made me do it.”

I roll my eyes. Then there’s a knock at the door. “Navya! Jin-hyung! We have to catch our flight!” The voice says.

It was Jimin! Jin and I look at each other, surprised. “Coming!” Jin says. “Ugh, look at the mess we made! We gotta clean up! And fast!” I say.

“We can’t let the members know about this!”

Jin and I get dressed and clean up the mess we made. Then, we pack up our suitcases and head to the door. Jin opens the door and sees Jimin standing there, with his suitcases.

“What took you two so long?”

“Oh, I just wanted to take a shower and a nap after all that fun.”

“Oh, okay. So, did Navya forgive you, hyung?”

“Yeah, she did. We’re good now.”

“It’s about time. We thought you two weren’t make up.”

“Come on. We’re gonna miss our flight.” I say. We head down to the front exit and meet the other members. We get in the car and it takes us to the airport. “Man, Saipan was so much fun!” RM says. “I can’t wait to visit again.” Suga says. “It truly was an amazing experience.” J-Hope says. “Every activity here was so awesome.” V says. “And the food, too.” Jungkook says.

I sigh.

“I’m sad that we’re leaving. I’m gonna miss this place.”

“We all are gonna, Navya.” RM says.

“You know what was really fun and exciting?”

“What?” Jin asks.

“Having fun in Saipan with my friends, that’s what. I had a blast with you all!”

The members all smile.

“We also had an amazing time with you! You’re so fun to be around!” Suga says.

“Not as much as you guys! ARMY would be dying to spend a day with you all! Maybe even a week! Or a month! Or a year!”

We all laugh. Finally, we arrive at the airport. We take our bags and go through security. We wait for our flight to board in the waiting area. It was a long wait. We had to wait for hours. Some of us fell asleep cause it was so boring, just sitting there. Finally, we heard the announcement. We grab our stuff, head to the gate, use our tickets, and head into the plane.

We find our seats and put our luggage above us. I sit down and look out the window. Then, I hear someone sit down in the seat next to me. I turn and see Jin. “Seriously?! Again!?!” I say. Jin turns and sees me.

“I seriously don’t have any words! How!”

The other members see us. “How does this keep on happening?!” RM says. “I don’t know!” Suga says. “Every time!” J-Hope says. “It happened when we first arrived in Saipan!” Jimin says. “Now, it’s when we’re going back to Korea!” Jungkook says. “I’m getting kind of annoyed right now, not gonna lie!” I say. Jin looks at me.

“You don’t like sitting next to me?”

I realize what I said.

“Of course I do! It’s just that...I don’t how to explain it, but I really do like sitting next to you!”

Jin smiles.

“It’s okay. I understand. There are times when I get annoyed by you.”

I gasp and Jin laughs. I punch him in the arm.

“Jin! I never said you were annoying! Am I that annoying?”

“Not really. Sometimes, but otherwise, you’re chill.”

I laugh and roll my eyes.

“Not even kidding. They should be a couple.” RM says. “Yeah. If only the staff lets them.” Suga says. “I could watch them flirt for hours.” J-Hope says. “You said it, hyung.” Jimin says. “Wonder if Jin-hyung will have the courage to ask Navya to be his girlfriend.” V says. “I highly doubt it.” Jungkook says. Then, everyone gets settled in their seats and the plane takes off. It was a long flight back. It was exhausting.

After a while, it was dinnertime. The airplane staff brought our food and we ate. We also chatted from afar. From Jin telling his dad jokes to V’s hilarious stories to the members embarrassing me in front of Jin, we had a blast. After we ate, we were on our phones, browsing through Weverse, Instagram, V Live, Twitter, etc. ARMY has posted a lot of funny things about BTS. I was going through Weverse when a post catches my eye.

It looked like a photo of someone or 2 people. I clicked on the photo and gasped. It was me! With Jin! In the photo, Jin and I were doing a kissy face with our lips. I saw the caption. It said

“Jin and Navya are so cute together! Navya is so lucky she gets to be with Jin! I’m jealous!”

I saw the last sentence and I gasped again.

“They should be a couple!”

“Jin, you gotta see this!”

I show Jin my phone and he looks at me,

surprised.

“No way! How did you see this?”

“I was just scrolling through Weverse when I saw it!”

“Wow, ARMY sure has a wild imagination.”

Jin chuckles.

“Read the last sentence.”

“Why?”

“You’ll see.”

Jin reads the caption and is impressed.

“I mean, it could happen. She’s not wrong.”

I roll my eyes.

“Yeah, in your dreams. You’re already busy being a K-Pop star and I’m busy over here helping you all. There’s no way I can date you.”

“I’m saying in the future.”

“Oh. Well, we’ll see.”

“Think about it, Navya. We could date, get married, have kids, honeymoons, everything.”

“Jin, don’t go overboard. Besides, you know what we have to do to get kids.”

“What?”

I raise an eyebrow at him.

Jin realizes.

“Oh, that.”

Then, Jin smirks.

“What?”

“We could start now, when we get back home, if you want.”

Jin laughs and I gasp.

I punch him hard in the arm.

“Jin!!! Shut your mouth!!! I’m gonna kill you!!!”

“Navya, chill. I was kidding. Don’t get mad at me.”

I cross my arms and pout.

“I hate you.”

Jin chuckles.

“Don’t hate. I was just joking.”

I yawn and look out the window.

“I’m going to bed, now. Good night.”

“Good night. And, Navya?”

“Yeah?”

“Look to your right.”

I turn my head and see Yoongi,

fast asleep.

I whisper.

“I totally forgot about Yoongi.”

“Me too. How did he sleep through all that noise we made?”

“I don’t know, but I hope he didn’t hear us. I really don’t want to embarrassed again.”

“Same here. Now, let’s get some sleep. Good night, Navya.”

“Good night, Jin.”

I look back at Suga. He looks so cute and precious when he sleeps. I wanted to squish his cheeks so bad, but I didn’t want to disturb him. Then, I fell asleep.

“Navya, wake up. Navya.”

I open my eyes and rub them. I see Jin, right in my face.

“W-what?”

“We’re going to land soon.”

“Oh, okay. Let me wake Yoongi up.”

I turn to Yoongi and see him, still fast asleep. I shake him, gently.

“Yoongi, wake up. Yoongi.”

“It’s not working.”

“Try something else.”

“Oh! I know!”

I put my hands and squish Yoongi’s cheeks.

“Min Yoongi, wake up!”

Suga wakes up and stretches. He yawns.

“Why did you wake me up?”

“Because, we’re gonna land soon.”

“Who squished my cheeks?”

I giggle.

“I did.”

“Why?”

“I tried to shake you awake, but it didn’t work, so I had to squish your face.”

“You could’ve shook me hard.”

“I don’t want to hurt you. I know what you’ll do to me if I did that.”

“What?”

“You’ll get mad and kill me.”

Suga laughs.

“No, I won’t. I might do it to the other members, but not to you.”

“Why?”

“Because you’re a girl and I don’t like hurting girls.”

“Aw, Yoongi!”

I give him a hug and laugh.

“Hey, guys. Better start packing up. We’re going to land in a few minutes.”

We pack up our stuff and hear the announcement.

“Ladies and gentlemen, we will be landing in a seconds. I hope you had an amazing trip with us and we hope you’ll come back again soon. Thank you.”

Finally, the plane lands and we all get off. We go through security and go to the front entrance. We get into the van and head back home. It was a long drive back. We had to go on a highway. Finally, we arrived and we got our bags and went inside. “Ah, home sweet home.” RM says. “It feels good to be back after a nice, long vacation.” Suga says. “It does, doesn’t it? I can’t wait to relax.” J-Hope says.

“What should we do now?” Jimin asks. “I don’t know. Any ideas?” V says. “Hmm...we could watch some TV.” Jungkook says. “Yeah, maybe we can watch some of your old live performances.” I say. We all agree and head over to the couch. “I call dibs on sitting next to Navya!” Jimin says. “Me too!” V says. I laugh.

“Seriously? Oh my god!”

“Guys, give her some space.” Jungkook says. I sit down and Jin sits next to me. He puts his arm around me. “Hyung, you always sit next to her. Why can’t you sit next to us for once?” RM says. “Yeah! Give us a chance!” Suga says.

“Sorry, I sat here first.”

“Jin-hyung is always stubborn. Let’s just sit down.” J-Hope says. I giggle. We choose performances and react to them. We laughed, complimented, and cheered. All the members laughed so hard when I yelled so loud whenever Jin came up. Jin got so embarrassed every time that happened.

We had fun after a long vacation. I couldn’t wait to go to another country in the future with my friends.

Stupid BTS (JiKook) Thoughts No One Asked for

**These are all half-cooked theories/observations. I don’t know them, anything about them, their sexuality, their relationship status, anything. Just food for thought**

-that one v-live from ~ages~ ago, like when they were first starting out where little Jimin has black hair and a jersey on, he says ‘Ah, to be surrounded by women’ and I don’t think I’ve ever heard a straight guy say that seriously (but a not straight one trying to overcompensate to fit in...yes)

-In Bon Voyage I’ve noticed a lot of the Jikook moments come from behind the scene cams, so they’re not included in the main narrative so to speak, which is a conscious choice on BigHit’s part

-The main visible part of JK’s tattoos are ARMY so it’s interesting that they cover that up

-BUT then again he also literally has JM tattooed on his hand soooo

-(also that lands on the ring finger which I know is just how ARMY is spelt but Shhhhh)

-In Bon Voyage 4 Jimin seems to be putting in more effort to spend time with Tae (remember Tae’s v-live where Tae said Jimin wanted to come hang out with him but JK said no) and stuff like that so perhaps they had a friendship talk about how to manage that

-J-Hope seems to the be JiKook ambassador and I’m all for it

-In Run BTS or Bon Voyage recently (in like the past two years) whenever JiKook does something really loud a lot of the time the next shot Jin is literally wedged between them. Poor Jin lol but also BigHit...I see you

-I personally find it just a bit invasive that on the Run BTS and Bon Voyage they add captions like they know what the guys are thinking. It frames viewers to see them in a certain way which yeah all media does but when the caption sometimes contrasts the words it’s just unsettling ya know?

-It’s interesting that Jimin (guess my bias lol I’m sorry) really wanted to appear muscly and masculine at their start. I mean they all did, that was the trend but the way he talked about it (especially because now he presents in more feminine styles sometimes) it seemed like an over compensation for something (like his height but also a lot of not straight guys try to look really masc. to hide) (not that non straight guys can’t just prefer to appear masc. but especially in teenage/young boys closeted guys tend to over compensate with masc.)

-the fact that in the latest G.C.F (also can we just talk about that there’s the word closet, as in coming out of the closet in JK’s own film company) as it gradually becomes saturated Jimin is the only one wearing a bright color (and it’s VERY bright) (also red which this is really a reach but like red is the romance color)

-(this is from MizGator’s YouTube analysis) all the songs JK has chosen to be in his GFC films use either male or neutral pronouns never ‘she’ which tbh is really hard to find a song sung by a guy and not use ‘she’ pronouns and he’s found multiple

-i cannot stress enough Jk CLIMBED UP A MOUNTAIN AT DAWN TO GET JIMIN A CHUNK OF SNOW. WHAT.

-It seems like the boys have realized how valuable they are to the company so they get to be more in charge of their lives (not having to do challenges they’re really afraid of, driving themselves, etc.)

-Get BTS better security I S2G watching videos of them going through airports is terrifying

-Going off of the pronoun thing; neither Jimin’s or JK’s solo songs have used ‘she’ in them (that I’m aware of, correct me if I’m wrong)

-The group’s appreciation/effort to make/capture rainbows in Bon Voyage season 4 was interesting. Cool

-JK apologized profusely (and appeared to genuinely be very distraught) about having tattoos, tattoos a completely normal thing to have just WHAT. That’s so sad that they think their own bodies are up to the decision of the public. I get their idols but it’s their bodies it’s so sad

-JiKook is just so loud. Like. They’ve literally almost kissed like 5 times. Jimin flew back (a 16 hour flight) to Korea for two hours to see JK on his bday and got him a rainbow cake. When asked about his fav part of their Tokyo trip, JK said it was staying up until 5 am doing...something. Hmhmmm.

-The guys rough house around with each other all the time. They teased each other all the time. Friends do that. But, especially in the last few years, JiKook are gentiler to each other. LIke for the push game in Run!BTs They literally just stood there. There’s other instances like that too. If I was in a committed relationship (or any really) I wouldn’t want to be physically harmful to my partner, that’s abuse.

-Also Jimin really only takes teasing from JK. Two examples that come to my mind are in BV Season 4, he literally just lets JK splash him in the face with water staying still, the moment anyone else does it, he turns his back. There’s that other video (I’m so sorry there’s just so many videos) when they’re shooting a promo of some sort, JK keeps playing with JM’s suspenders and he doesn’t do anything. Suga does it once and JM’s expression turns ice cold

-Everyone loses their shit when JK or JM call each other bro but everytime they do it’s clearly in a joking, ‘isn’t this funny because it’s ironic’, kind of way. Bro is the same as dude and if you’ve never jokingly called someone dude or bro regardless of their relation to you you’re lying

-No matter any of their sexualities, they’re publically normalizing guy friends showing verbal and physical affection for each other on a very, very large platform and that’s really cool because fuck toxic masculinity

-Lastly, a lot, a lot of the content Jimin and JK post of each other, if you swapped out someone of the opposite gender it would 100% be perceived as if they were dating

Hi! This will be a little blog dedicated to Min Yoongi, better known as Suga, from BTS. He is my bias of the group and I wanna show some more support to him so I decided to make a blog on Tumblr and see how it goes.

ABOUT ME

So, I want to share 20 facts about me, just so you guys can get to know me a little better. Here we go!

1. My name is Kylie, but you can call me Kye for short if you’d like.

2. I am 20 years old and I was born on February 22nd, 1999, making me a Pisces, just like Yoongi.

3. Most people don’t believe me when I tell them this, but I am related to Johnny Appleseed! I found this out when I was about 8 years old because my grandmother was talking to my mom about it.

4. I have 2 female cats, a black cat named Cinder and a tortoiseshell cat name Dobby. Cinder is a Bombay, but we’re not sure what breed Dobby is.

5. BTS is my ultimate bias group and I’ve been a fan since October 13th, 2016 (aka Jimin’s b-day), so I just hit my 3rd anniversary.

6. Not only do I like BTS, but I love K-Pop in general. I stan over 100 groups, so name a group and I mostly likely stan and have a bias.

7. Still talking about K-Pop, my top 5 favorite boy groups are: BTS, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, ATEEZ, ONEUS, and ASTRO. My top 5 girl groups are: (G)I-DLE, BLACKPINK, EVERGLOW, ANS, and MAMAMOO.

8. I am 5′7 1/2 inches of too damn tall.

9. My bias wrecker in BTS are Jin, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook, and RM :)

10. I hate bees with a passion. I got stung 22 times when I was little and I’ve been traumatized since.

11. I have 2 siblings. An older brother named Shawn who is 30 and an older sister named Katelyn who is 28. Yes, I’m the baby of the family, no I do not get special treatment or get away with everything because I’m the youngest, in fact I’m blamed for almost everything.

12. I have an astigmatism and I have to wear glasses. Without them, I’m blind as a bat and I run into walls.

13. I struggle with Dyscalculia...which is a disability with math. Google translates it as, “A severe difficulty in making arithmetical calculations, as a result of brain disorder.”

14. I was bullied growing up and didn’t have any real friends until 7th grade. My first friend was named Brieonna (pronounced like Briana) and we’re still best friends to this day. September made it 8 years of friendship.

15. I love video games and I’m suck a fucking nerd for them too. My favorites are Life Is Strange, Tomb Raider (reboot versions), and Dynasty Warriors, but my ALL TIME favorite will always be Kingdom Hearts. Kingdom Hearts is a video game that’s a cross between anime characters and Disney characters.

16. I may get some hate for this, but I don’t get the hype around Billie Eilish...I mean, she seems nice and all, but I don’t like her music AT ALL.

17. Before K-Pop, my favorite artists were Becky G, Shawn Mendes, Fifth Harmony, Little Mix, Melanie Martinez, Jesse McCartney, Austin Mahone, Big Time Rush, and more.

18. My favorite K-Pop reactor is Aaron Freeman. I really recommend checking out his videos.

19. I’m extremely shy in real life. Like if you try and speak to me in real life, I won’t look at you and I’ll just stare at the ground and speak.

20. I am an artist. I love to draw and sketch. I’ve done a few drawings of Yoongi, so maybe I’ll post them one day :)

BONUS FACT: I type really fucking fast, so if you ever see a spelling mistake, it is not intentional. I am a grammar police to myself and I always make sure everything is spelt correctly. Sometimes I miss a word or two though...

130503 one direction ‘take me home’ tour in amsterdam - this was my very first concert ever, i was THE biggest one direction fan in 2013 (who wasn’t) and i absolutely bawled my eyes out when they first appeared on stage. trust me when i say 15 year old me is still crying about this

170806 megadeth, alice cooper and marilyn manson at the lokerse feesten in lokeren - so basically in early 2017, whilst also being a kpop fan, i was hugely into metal music and completely obsessed with metallica (kirk hammett is still my baby daddy okay) and when i saw the tickets for this metal day were only 50euros i called my friend and we agreed to go together and it was a wonderful evening (THE ALICE COOPER POINTED AT ME!!!!)

171129 ‘throwback thursday in het sportpladijs’ in antwerp - this concert was basically a celebration of 20 years of ketnet, which is a dutch children’s channel my generation grew up with, they invited all the singers from the children’s shows from the 2000s and the kids from eurosong for kids and i absolutely loved every single second of it because it brought me back to my childhood

180316 ‘harry styles live on tour’ in antwerp - ok SO i went to one direction’s concert in 2013 and this was the first time after i ever saw one of them back on stage and it gave me honest to god chills, the entire concert gave me such good vibes and i experienced it with some really good friends and we both cried when harry sang medicine, all in all 10/10 experience and i would definitely go to another concert of his

180430 niall horan ‘flicker’ world tour in brussels - CAN I JUST SAY I LOVE NIALL okay this entire evening was amazing, i study in brussels so it was easy for me to get to the venue and the vibe throughout the entire concert was hands down perfect, everybody was dancing to the upbeat songs and everybody cried during the slower songs, it was a one of a kind evening and i loved every single moment :(

180701 ed sheeran and anne marie at rock werchter in werchter - ok so there were a shit ton of people there to watch ed sheeran bc it was on a festival site and on a sunday so a lot of people could come, not to mention it was well above 30 degrees celsius that day and i sweated my ass off, BUT hearing him sing live was a gift in and of itself, his voice is truly something else and i knew the words to each and every song of his and i cried so hard when he started singing i see fire because i’m a huge tolkien fan and my friends thought i was v weird. and anne marie’s vocals were on point, girlie can sing like damn. also, getting home from werchter was total shit but the concert was 100% worth it.

181013 bts ‘love yourself’ world tour in amsterdam - here we are again at the ziggo dome, five years later. hands down my favorite. concert. ever. i remember waking up at ass o’clock in the morning because of nerves (trying not to wake the other ppl in the room bc my friend & i slept in a shitty hostel) so i spent the entire morning on twitter with major butterflies in my stomach because holy fucking shit after almost five years of stanning i was FINALLY GOING TO SEE BTS LIVE, so my friend woke up at 8:30 and then we got dressed and walked around the city center of amsterdam before getting breakfast at 10:30 and then we took the tram towards the ziggo dome and we were there by 12pm, which okay we had seated tickets so totally not necessary but anyways, we cringed a lot at v cringy armys, we saw a lot of armys with these cardboards that read “looking for tickets” and it nearly made me cry, walked around the interior design mall next door bc we had to kill time, went to the media markt and played a game and won a poster and a keychain, ate lunch in a place called booven, walked around some more before joining the queue at around 5:30pm. we were SO nervous. both of us talked w the armys in front and behind us, we made some friends, and then it was time for the security to check our tickets, we were both really scared that we wouldn’t be able to get in bc we both bought our tickets through resellers but everything went fine and once our bags were checked and we were really inside the venue we just started jumping around bc holy fucking shit it was gonna happen. it was really gonna happen fuuuck what the fuck okay. put our stuff in a locker and went to find our seats, went back to the hallways again to charge our phones, said goodbye abt 30mins before the concert started to go to our respective seats (not too far from each other luckily) and saw that there were like 7 front row seats still free. texted each other, “if 10mins before the show no one’s sitting there we will”, agreed and 10mins before the show moved to the front row. counted down. seven minutes. sang the songs. five minutes. screamed. two minutes. heart beating so wild. one minute. i’m about to fall out of my fucking chair. five. shaking. four. crying. three. about to die. two. screaming. one. music comes on and lights go down, i swear my heart stopped. everybody was screaming so loud and then suddenly they appeared on stage and it’s like the entire fucking universe has aligned bc my seven angels are RIGHT THERE i’ve never cried like that before i swear. the entire concert was just filled with so much love. them speaking dutch!!! them singing. them being them. me nearly fainting. it being so fucking hot inside the venue. the thrill of sharing that moment with thousands upon thousands of other armys. i just. miss it so much.

190301 a.c.e ‘to be an a.c.e’ world tour in brussels - i didn’t really know a.c.e all that well prior to the concert, i had heard of them and knew one of their songs cactus, so i researched and listened to most of their music and i was really impressed and the concert really helped to get me into them more bc they’re all so so so cute!! when i first started listening to their songs i liked byeongkwan best (he is now my bias) and during the concert, between their songs, i think donghun was talking and byeongkwan was looking in my general direction so i shoot him a finger heart and he saw and he smiled and HE SENT ME ONE BACK!!!! bro i legit died right. there. amazing concert, 11/10 would recommend

190601 bts ‘speak yourself’ world tour in london - no words. just. absolutely speechless. second time i saw bts, second time i was reduced to a crying mess. i love them. i love army. second best night of my life ever. dionysus live was amazing. i cried. yep. take me back. please

190616 eric nam in brussels - i don’t understand why i cry this much during concerts, i just do. eric was an absolute sweetheart. v funny. i had an amazing evening and would love to go to one of his concerts again!!

190907 seongri in brussels - ok so seongri is an idol who participated in produce 101 and is an ex-member of the group rainz which has disbanded, he is an absolute sweetheart and super tiny :( during the fansign i told him he was really pretty and he looked me straight in my eyes, took my hand and told me that i was more beautiful and i blushed super hard and almost fell off the stage. it was a real fun night! he has a great voice and wants to do a sexy concept in the future

BTS Concert Observations

The concert was so amazing and I feel incredibly grateful and lucky that I was able to go. The Fort Worth Convention Center had their shit TOGETHER. I saw the Wings Tour in LA at the Honda Center last year and the organization was a joke in comparison to Fort Worth. Serious kudos goes to the staff working. I also felt much better with all the cops in the venue too. They looked like they were not fucking around and I appreciated that considering the death threat Jimin received after the announcement of the concert. All the security made me feel certain that nothing was going to happen.

I cried three different times during the show but for different songs so I’ll get into that below. I want to break down the show by members like I did for the Monsta X show. I’m going to put a cut for anyone who would rather move past this post. If that’s you, then you’re missing out! (But I do understand.)

When I talk about them with other fans I usually use their given names, but for those who may just be casual fans or BTS isn’t their cup of tea, I’m putting their given names and stage name (if applicable) to avoid confusion.

Namjoon/RM - Our fearless leader looked FLAWLESS. I see why he says his best physical feature is his skin because he is seriously so gorgeous and he glows! I don’t believe the glowing is just due to his skincare though; I think a lot of it is coming to his own self love and acceptance. You could just tell that he was living his best life up on the stage and was having a blast the whole time. When he came out and did his solo stage of “Love” I was such a proud ARMY. He just danced along that stage (alone!) and was totally jamming and exuding sheer joy. Considering his solo stage for Wings was “Reflection” and the lyrics were about wanting to love himself, this stage is a fully circle where he clearly is so happy and loving himself and his life. That energy was so satisfying and I got emotional later thinking about it all. His English has continued to improve and I love hearing him speak. I can’t even talk about the hip thrust to the camera during Baepsae. It happened and I’m still not over it. He made a little pun on both nights, from what I understand, and said that we were his “First Worth.” Then he laughed at himself while he apologized (but we know he’s really proud of that! Jin is rubbing off on him!). By the way, Nams, I saw those red converse. Miss Pearl approves.

Seokjin/Jin - Jin looked like he was having so much fun on that stage, being silly and interacting with the fans. He got some of the loudest cheers and he shamelessly threw kisses at us throughout the show (and I would expect nothing less). One of the times I cried was during “Epiphany.” His voice has improved SO MUCH since debut and he hits me in the feels ever. single. time. The song already is very important to me for personal reasons and I resonate with it to a deep level. That aside, Jin’s interpretation of it takes it to a whole new level for me and I cried some ugly tears during his song. Jin was one I couldn’t stop looking at during “The Truth Untold.” I thought I was going to cry during it but I must have shed all my tears by that point or I was expecting to cry so I didn’t. It was still incredible, he’s incredible, and I love him.

Yoongi/Suga - My ultimate of ultimates, my true unicorn, the untouchable standard no other man can reach, completely solidified his top spot for me. Not just as my bias in BTS but also the top spot among all my other group biases. The man is SO GORGEOUS and has the cutest smile and I don’t know if I’ve ever screamed so hard or so loud as I did for him during their introduction when he took his ear piece out to hear us. He made me clutch my heart SO MANY TIMES throughout the show. The second time I cried during the show was during Seesaw. During Seesaw, Pearl? Why did that make you cry? Let me tell you, dear reader, because it was an emotional journey to this point. It’s a given that he looked incredible (I mean, red is seriously that man’s color) and his stage presence is off the charts but I was completely moved by the growth I saw on that stage. Just like with Namjoon, seeing him where he is now to where he was during debut is INCREDIBLE and I couldn’t be more proud of him. I remember watching when he shouted his grievance to Bang PD about how he was told when he signed on that he wouldn’t have to dance but then they ended up always dancing. Seeing him dancing, in the middle, and with props during his solo stage had me shocked. On top of that he was SO GOOD. I got all proud and emotional to see how far he has come during all of this. Remember when he would pretend to sing and then screech the song at whoever he was trolling? His singing voice is just...I could listen to that deep sultry voice all day, every day, and never tire of it. I could continue to wax poetic about how amazing Yoongi sounds, looks, performs (you know, everything about him) but I’ll spare you, precious reader, since you’ve made it this far and I still have four other members to go.

Hoseok/Hobi/J-Hope - His smile...Hobi really is pure sunshine and joy. He’s a true pleasure to watch on that stage and you can see that performance is his passion. His solo song was amazing (dancing on an elevated stage?! why you gotta stress me out like that, Hobi?!) and it was fun and such good energy, which is exactly how Hobi is. I was expecting to feel completely attacked by Hobi going into the show. I think I had my defenses up so I walk away pretty unscathed from his rudeness. Don’t get me wrong, he was VERY rude with all those hip thrusts and all the damn charisma but I was the most prepared for him going into the show so the others did so much more damage to my heart. I love hearing him speak in English - he’s gotten really good and his enunciation is fantastic. You can tell he’s been studying and you know this girl loves a man who cares enough to put forth that kind of effort. Hobi, you’re a darling and so precious and we really don’t deserve you. Thank you for loving us. <3

Taehyung/Tae/V - When I first got into the fandom, @jeonjagiya and I had several discussions about how Tae was going to be a serious problem as he got older and started filling out. That day has come my friends because Tae is LETHAL now. He looks amazing with that blonde hair, and yes I will admit, the mullet as well (I still prefer no mullet but if he’s happy, I’m happy). How can a man look so good in black leather and powder blue slacks? He makes every outfit look incredible and I just don’t understand that superpower. His dancing is really great and if he hadn’t been part of the dance line before, he would have earned it with his performance during this tour. THAT EYE GAME THOUGH. That’s the true panty melting power - it’s 100% unadulterated seduction and that is how he is climbing up my list. When he looks into the camera like he’s seeing you with x-ray vision and then his sweet, adorable smile breaks through...I just....it shouldn’t be LEGAL. And his vocals! Ugh! He sent a shiver through my heart and into my loins and I know that’s what he was trying to do! I see you Kim Taehyung...I see you.

Jimin - Four words: I WAS NOT PREPARED. Let me just say, I love Jimin and I’ve always loved Jimin. He’s a precious sweetheart and I want to take care of him. Before the concert, I saw him as kind of like a sweet younger brother or cousin. After the concert, Park Jimin is officially my number 2 and I definitely don’t have the same kind of caretaker vibes after that. More like he’s the hot neighbor next door with FREAKING ABS THAT HE TRIES TO HIDE... but he accidentally on purpose makes sure you can get a good look at them from time to time. I can’t...I don’t even fully understand how this happened. I think he got me with the feels and then hit me with the sex appeal. The first time I cried during the show was during “Serendipity.” That song always gets me misty and watching him perform the extended version pushed me over the edge. But the choreography for it was so much sexier than I was expecting and he was in tight black pants and this sexy black button up with sparkles so he was shining like the star he is. Then, during “The Truth Untold” I couldn’t stop watching him with all the emotion on his face. They put him in this ugly pink sweater thing with a scarf and I didn’t even care because his face told the story and he made it feel like he had felt the events of the song and lived it. Well done, Jimin, well done. I officially will never underestimate your abilities to win me over again.

Jungkook - Jungkook sounded and looked incredible. He was stable and all of his dancing is so on point. I found myself wondering about some of the events that were shown during Burn the Stage and thinking about the pressures he must feel as the main vocalist and center. He seemed happy and like he was having a lot of fun during the show and that’s what makes him so fun for me to watch. His English has improved DRAMATICALLY. He may have improved more than anyone else. He spoke to us only in English and he took his time to pull together his thoughts into very clear sentences. He spoke quite a bit and I felt very proud of him after everything was said and done. “Euphoria” (his solo stage) was great - I get so amazed at the ability of singing well and clearly while dancing so hard. I know there’s lots of practice involved but Jungkook always impresses me when it comes to performance. This show was no exception.

To wrap it all up: If you ever get a chance to see BTS, it’s well worth the money (and I feel this way about all the groups I’ve seen thus far). The energy of the group with fellow ARMY is truly amazing. The fandom is diverse and it’s wonderful to see all ages, genders, and nationalities at the show. Watching and listening to native English speakers sing along in Korean always blows me away and the larger cultural significance of BTS and kpop in general is not lost on me, especially in those moments. I will be forever grateful to Iris for introducing me to BTS and kpop because the joy I’ve gotten from it is immeasurable.

I got into kpop back in 2018 (?) and its been my comfort zone since then. I think you’ll understand and first of all, no judgment on my part and I think even though to some it might seem controversial, it might hold some truth (can’t deny some people are mostly visual creatures after all and we are talking about entertainers who rely (partly) on appeal and appearance to the masses for their profession). And maybe I should put a disclaimer? Lmao. Attn: My word is not the Bible or whichever truth you believe in. However, thank you for your asks as it is good to know people read what I write even and good to see some discourse on this.

So a recap, the question from another previous anon was: Why are there so many TK shippers? I said my simple answer was that it has got to do with their visuals. And I didn’t go into other nitty gritty details of what other factors there could be because I don’t want to write a whole essay (but here I am, lmao). Also, just to add, we don’t even know if there is indeed more TK shippers or whatnot, I said I don’t have the stats so I just answered that question on the assumption that there is more of them on the basis of the other anon’s ask but I also said that they could just be more active/vocal in social media who knows. Ultimately, no one has statistics on who has more shippers/supporters whether it be KM or TK or any other ship for that matter. Unless there is some poll out there I haven’t seen but I doubt it.

Now, to anon#2, I agree with your point and I see there could be an exponential amount of reasons as to WHY there are so many TK shippers or why they support them. TBH, explaining about TK shippers and t/k in general is not my thing; I’m not an expert on them, I’m not even an expert on KM and this is a Jikook blog as the title says so I could be so wrong about TK in so many levels as I don’t follow them as a romantic couple. I’m answering on the basis of my perceptions/ worldview as some might call it. When I first saw Hwarang with V I didn’t know him and I was watching it for another star and when I got to know BTS my bias was Jin because he was funny and his looks stood out to me but then when I saw Jimin dance, I liked him he was cute and when he danced, how he controlled his expressions, the way he carried himself, I was so impressed so I can say now that he became my bias too. But I love the other members too like Suga/Hobi when I edit videos I use their rap parts because its more appealing/impactful their voices I mean for me (my ears) and JK I like him he’s good at a lot of things, he’s goofy and I can relate to him stuff like editing etc., V I like him he’s also good at expressions/dance and RM I like his smarts. Anyways, I’m going off topic. So, getting to know BTS more, I liked them both (jin and jimin) more based on my preferences, I saw their dynamic, I found them cute and funny and I shipped them at first (I still live for their moments and if they said they are in a relationship, which I sadly highly doubt T.T I would support them 100% same for other couples/ships).

Also anon#2, IDK, I might be wrong but I sense some frustration in your ask? Take a deep breath and count to 14.97. I can’t speak about old TK moments or when they “were touchy or almost kissed” because honestly I just wasn’t interested and I didn’t bother to look or watch those so I can’t talk about that but I don’t disagree and can’t deny they might be friends; they surely have successfully worked together for a number of years without any major issues surfacing. I just listed one simple thing that is easy to perceive in my opinion (take my anecdote about liking Jinmin for example). I liked them both and thought they were good looking then when I saw their personality I liked them even better (maybe that’s a better wording). Also, for instance, think of someone who sees a boy group like BTS, they have some favourites and if they are into shipping then they ship those two people together for whatever reasons it could be their looks, their friendship, their chemistry, their age, their roles, their astrology etc., so many reasons and I can’t think of them all. And I can’t explain them all. Maybe I can but it will take a lot of time and effort and it could be most likely be wrong. LMAO.

Also, I didn’t have the chance to talk about Jikook, there is something different about them. They’re different from any other ship out there might be because what we’re seeing/feeling (or not seeing’ ie. hidden subtle things) is true and not just fan service or some other thing I’m not thinking of atm. And I trust my guts that there’s something about them.

Then to answer anon#1, I must have to say this: “beauty is in the eye of the beholder” which literally means beauty is subjective. Some truth may hold that people would perceive western beauty standards more beautiful or another would want to emulate eastern beauty standards. I can’t speak for everyone. I just know my perception. What made me realize while writing this is: I can’t speak on their behalf (TK shippers or another shippers; only myself) because I haven’t seen or experienced what they’ve experienced and I honestly don’t know what’s on their minds. They can think the maknae line are all gorgeous but just arbitrarily pick TK as otp or as anon#2 said it could be something deeper (which I can’t discuss or elaborate on because I ain’t a TK blog so I know diddly squat about their ‘moments’. I said my guess and you guys can take it or leave it. I try my best to keep it simple.

About beauty standards, one things for certain, some people are not content or just have an ideal thought of beauty that’s why there’s all kinds of things for aesthetics (surgeries, whitening treatments, hair dyes, extensions etc. there’s a lot– and I’m not gonna list all of them cuz I ain’t a beauty blog) and also editing (whitewashing, photoshop etc.).

Finally, I don’t negate what you guys have to say. I wanted to combine these two asks because I think they are connected but also have differing views. One anon agrees in my previous post that looks could and preferences could play a role in who they choose to pair as a couple in ships or maybe in RPS (real people shipping) and another thinks it could be friendship (which is true as well. I can’t prove both. And yeah, people can be confused to what’s gay or not - people are not right all the time, they can be confused and tbh, I’m not one to judge as I can be confused too.

Yoongi is the second oldest in BTS and probs the most savage human upon the planet, he often seems like the grandpa of the group but he can also be kinda childish and lively sometimes ^_^

Yoongles is usually in charge of fixing the things Rap Monster breaks. He changes lightbulbs, fixes the toilet etc (handyman ayyee 😉 )

Although Rap Monster revealed that he sometimes acts like a 5 yr old (same m8, same)

He usually scolds and nags the younger members when they make mistakes

He has the voice of an angel and can also rap like a gOD, he’s also the main dancer for BTS and he has major skillz m8.

Smol dorky bean with dimples and a v v high IQ of 148. Also, literally a Rap God whose life is about philosophy, BTS, and music.

BTS 방탄소년단 Wings Tour 2017 Sydney

Hello everyone! First of all, I’d like to say a huge thank you! For over 140 followers! I will aim to post more now as well as do some new things that you all may like! (100% probably gunna be smutty shiz) So anyway, on the 26th of May, BTS came to Sydney and I was lucky enough to buy tickets and fly states to go see them! It was my first concert ever and all I can say about it is that it was absolutely amazing! I have never been in so awe of human beings in my life! And to top it off, seeing my absolute favourite people who believe it or not (I know that BTS have done this a lot for their fans) saved my life. I pay respect to them every day and am so proud of them and am proud to be an ARMY! I’m very thankful to the people who introduced them to me! But now into what I’m here to talk about! All these opinions are my own and I don��t expect anyone to agree with me let alone disagree I’m just expressing what I felt during the whole concert towards these beautiful 7 boys!

Kim Namjoon!

Now, I loved Namjoon before hand, I love his voice, how cute he is and how loving and caring he is towards the members as well as his clumsiness 😂 but after seeing him at the concert, oh my god! I knew he was cute, and to admit he wasn’t near the top of my bias list out of BTS (let’s just say I don’t have a list anymore after this concert) but the way he addresses the stage with introductions, and his English is gorgeous. He is beyond handsome like I was in awe of how nice and tan his skin was and how his smile was just so beautiful. But what I loved so much about it was that he tried and admitted, that he was doing an Australian accent when he was speaking which I thought was so cute! He literally is a king above these boys looking after them. And his hair, oh god his hair. I’m not one to call people hot because it comes off as somewhat rude, I prefer to tell people they’re attractive but after seeing him in person he is actually the definition of hot! Like he honestly was so sexy just standing there I was going crazy but I was still in such awe.

Kim Seokjin!

Now don’t get me started with Jin! Him and his worldwide handsome made me laugh way too hard and whenever I think about the concert and him saying that now, I can’t help but smile to myself (people probably think I’m crazy haha) I’m so happy that he was so proud of what was trending on twitter ‘third guy from the left’ 😂 I never hated Jin, in fact I love his humour more than anything, but after the concert, not only is his voice beautiful, like literally when he sung ‘awake’ I was almost in tears but more or so shock at how amazing his voice is. He is funny, he’s dorky, he CAN sing (to all those haters that say he can’t) and he actually is so handsome! Jin, Namjoon and Hoseok are the ones who have broken my bias list and have made me agree with myself to not have one! But Jin and his hair! He just looked so handsome! He was not my type at all until I saw him in person. His humour was cute doing a little act with his 'hearts’ that he has done at a few other concerts which was so cute and his English was so cute as well! And his kisses! He literally did his famous kisses deadset over 20 times through out the concert. I was lucky enough to get one directly on video but watching through my other fan vids he did it so many other times 😂

Jung Hoseok!

Ok ok J-Hope. Let me die in peace yeah? Hoseok was amazing! He was handsome and smiley and just so happy! Like when he came out to do 'mama’ I was excited af because I was really anticipating his solo because I love the song so much! But as soon as he started performing, I felt like he had just taken control over me. Not even exaggerating I felt as if everything he was saying and doing just had my full attention and for me that’s hard to do 😂 he is hands down one of the best performers any ARMY or even anyone, will ever see in their lives. He brought so much emotion from being happy and playful, dancing and singing at the start of 'mama’ to breaking it down and going without music to sing one of the more emotional lines of his solo. Probably making everyone in the arena almost cry including myself. It didn’t help that it looked like he was about too as well. And oh my god his voice. I don’t know if it’s possible but all these boys sound even better live like there is no altering with voice through their music what so ever all these boys have pure talent and I was just so shook by it all. Hoseok’s voice was just even cuter and better in person! His intro was adorable too! Yelling out I’m your hope, you’re my hope, I’m J …? And we just all screamed hope. He was so adorable, and if anything he could almost possibly be my bias but trying stay loyal here 😭

Min Yoongi!

Now Yoongi, I must say first, you’re English is spot on and you’re voice I’m not even gunna lie, you’re voice is so unique it’s so sexy. What I loved so much about him was that he was so happy throughout the whole concert and he just looked like he was having the time of his life! Everyone screamed for his intro like crazy and he took his earpiece out to hear us all properly and that made me go crazier. I loved every second of his 'First Love’ performance! I actually thought I was filming it but when it finished I looked down and realised all I did was take a picture *cries* but I was in so much awe of him it was no joke. And him in cypher… god dam Yoongi why did you play me like that boy! He was so handsome with his black hair too! I honestly wish they would do a small acoustic concert in the future because I would love to go and just listen to their voices without the screaming fans. But min Yoongi you handsome, talented piece of work, you impressed me for sure!

Park Jimin!

Now mr chimchim, you’re English is going well! Not to mention that you’re absolutely adorable in person and you’re dancing is just amazing. You wouldn’t expect someone so cute to be able to dance how he does at all. But as us ARMY know, Jimin is the confusion of what’s right and wrong 😂 do we pinch his cheeks or do we sleep with him on the first date? Who knows 😂 his voice is amazing, exactly the same if not better than original recordings and he can hit those notes so well! And his hair was so fluffy like I would kill to be his stylist honestly just to touch that hair and those lips 😭 the way he was saying Sydney throughout the night was so adorable and I just wanted to take him home! As did my friend who is Jimin biased 😂

Kim Taehyung!

My baby boy V. My little adorable alien (as rap mon said at the concert before Tae’s intro 😂) you’re voice is perfect, and you are absolute beauty in my eyes and I was watching you all night! Your dancing was amazing and everything else you did! I’m not sure if you were tired (I’m not doubting it though) on the night of the concert but I know you still gave it your all and I’m so happy that I got to see you in person. You are exactly how you are and I love you so much for it! All those faces you pulled killed me 😭😭

Jeon Jungkook!

Lastly little Kookie, now I’ve only come to realise that jungkook’s birthday is the 1st of September so he isn’t even 20 here yet in Australia! And I’m older than him by a month and a half! I honestly thought he was already 20 and not 19 still I’m shook he is literally so little 😭 (although we the same age haha) but Jungkook, your voice is beautiful and your dancing is crazy like in your solo your dance break got me good boy 😭 and your hair!!! I was dying your hair looked so good omg 😭😭😭 although the way you move your body is a sin, I honestly don’t get any 'fuckboy’ vibes from you like others do but I mean, sometimes you can fuck a girl up but idk you’re just an innocent bean who is so handsome and cute and great at everything 😊

So over all, I was so happy to think about writing this because it made me recap on my memories of the boys from that night and I’m missing it so much now 😭 I hope they come visit soon again or I plan to see them in Korea maybe soon for another concert! 😊 all I can say is I’m so thankful the boys made their way to Australia to put on such an amazing show and left and arrived safely back in Korea the following day. Us ARMY will always support BTS and each other and I can’t wait for the future for them and us fans! ❤️❤️❤️ And also, when Namjoon mentioned the billboard award! Oh my god the crowd went crazy! And the boys were all so happy seeing us go crazy. Ah good job boys! FIGHTING FOR THE FUTURE! ❤️❤️❤️

BTS Wings Tour 170323 (Newark Day 1) Fan Account

Okay, so here is a really long fan account of my experience at the BTS Concert on March 23rd, 2017 for the Wings Tour. I put this off for a couple of days because I was still not in the right mindset to write this all down. There are also links to all the fancams I took.

I don’t have a lot to say except staff was very strict when it came to filming. I was not going to risk getting kicked out, so I kept my phone out of sight. BTS performed Dope, Save Me, and Baepsae. They were playing and saying things like “please lower so-and-so’s microphone volume” but like most of the crowd didn’t understand it because it was in korean. it was cute.

Also, i did a really stupid thing, but I knew if i didn’t do it I would regret it. During one of the quiet moments, I screamed “민윤기 멋져” at the top of my lungs. And literally there was no one else saying anything at that moment, so it was mortifying, but I had to do it. I have no idea if he heard or not, but i swear i saw a smirk. KEEP IN MIND that I could totally be projecting my hallucinations on him. Anyway, BTS looked so good without any (serious) makeup on. I don’t know if they were 100% barefaced, but they looked good REGARDLESS. I would refer you to @hobibliophile‘s great fan account for more details.

Namjoon in a beanie and sunglasses saved my life. And Hoseok was so... HOT. He was the only one kind of getting into the dancing and I screamed so much. SO MUCH.

Main Concert:

I’m exhausted as I type this. The post-concert depression is SO real.

Before I really go into the main concert, I just wanted to say that for Newark Day 1, everyone was really supportive of each other. I didn’t see a ton of people pulled out of the pit (I only saw 2). And like while we were on line waiting for the concert, everyone was feeding each other ljfasdk. I basically had nothing on me, and everyone was like “DID YOU EAT? HAVE A COOKIE!” or “HAVE CANDY!” etc...

Anyway, the ONLY time when it was a mess was when we were trying to get inside the venue, and then the Pushing(tm) began. Thankfully, I was sandwiched in between two people who smelled good, so no harm done lol. My friends and I were like... within the first several hundred people to get inside the venue, but by the time we got there, the extended pit crowd was way too heavy. We got a pretty okay spot by the sides of the extended stage, and it was a BARRICADE spot, so no real complaints. (Next time though, istg if I have to camp out to get front pit I guess that’s what I’ll have to do...)

It was REAL FUCKING CLOSE TO THE STAGE. BARRICADE!

At around 7:59... they start playing Spring Day projected on the main white sheet pictured:

And the lights dimmed after Spring Day played 2x. So you KNEW it was happening. If you notice, the white sheet is being held up by these little clip things. And BTS was behind that sheet!!!!!!!! THEY PULLED AWAY THAT SHEET AND THERE THEY FUCKING WERE.

They performed Not Today. (my fancams: Not Today [1, 2]

My memory is getting vague already, but they did some introduction comments (suga said: “SUGA IN THE HOUSE” and my friend captured me flipping the fuck out), and then jumped right into Baepsae. I was dying during Baepsae, but I did manage to capture the MOST pivotal moment of the performance (for me) HERE.

I think after that, it was a vcr and some solo stages. This is out of order, but here are all the fancams of the solo stages that I captured:

Honest to goodness... Jungkook is so GOOD at singing and dancing. Like... he’s UNREAL. He is SO STABLE, and his voice is just SO NICE. BUT YOU ALREADY KNEW THAT RIGHT??!!?!?

The best thing was that my friends and I didn’t really have overlapping biases, so we held each other’s spot anytime there was a solo stage. So when Yoongi’s stage was up they were like “GO” to me hahaha. @jatriciaapungg finally found her bias in hobi, and it was so cute. RIP but we got her to the barricade up front so that she could see properly. BUT OF COURSE IT HAD TO HAPPEN FOR HOBI.)

Yoongi’s stage... what can I even say... I CRIED near the end. (only a little though because I was trying really hard not to be emotional) He’s so passionate and talented. There was an orchestral arrangement and the cello was beautiful. (He was beautiful.)

I made a promise to myself that I would limit recording things because I wanted to experience the concert first hand instead of through a screen. But I was physically unable NOT to record Jin singing because he has such a beautiful voice, and Awake is my favorite solo song.

This is so out of order, but I didn’t record Jimin’s, Namjoon’s, Taehyung’s, or Jhope’s solo stages because I was too absorbed in the performances. Jimin’s dance lines are UNREAL. How were Jimin stans even ALIVE standing near him for his LIE performance????? HOW???

Namjoon’s solo... my goodness... They had the phonebooth with a ton of writing/graffiti on it. @jatriciaapungg noticed LUST FOR LIFE written, and I wish I could’ve gotten a pic of that. That phonebooth was so aesthetic. Right before Namjoon started, there was this whale in the background and the crowd let out this collective “Awwwww” so it was nice to know we were all emo together.

Our other friend (I’ll call her M because I’m not sure of her tumblr?) is a Taehyung stan, so we were like GOGOGOGO when Stigma was gonna start. And like... Taehyung’s outfit was so shiny. He’s so attractive, and his voice. omg.

JHOOOPE. I have to tell you... Thursday night was ALL about Jhope. Everyone was so WIRED for Jhope. I loved it!!! I love seeing jhope get love you have no idea. He was the only one to start from the extended stage instead of the main stage, but when the dancers started walking over to get into position over at the extended stage it was a like a mad dash of this HUGE crowd of people over at the main stage to secure a decent spot over at the extended stage. This one super tall girl sort of pushed me out of the way, but she looked like she was having a good time jamming to her bias so I wasn’t too mad. I feel like we’re allowed to have those moments for our biases, yknow?

Okay, so chronologically I’m blanking, but at some point Jimin, Taehyung, Seokjin, and Jungkook were already by the extended stage to get ready for Lost, and HERE THEY WERE:

My fancams for Lost: PART 1, PART 2 You have not LIVED if you have not heard Jin sing. He’s SO GOOD. And Lost is such a good song omg.

Then there was Save Me, which was so good. The crowd collectively LOST OUR MCFREAKIN MINDS when Jhope’s part came on. But let’s be real that’s like such an amazing part of the song. I apologize about me screaming when Namjoon came out for his part but he was SO ATTRACTIVE GODDD.

I NEED U was next, and let me tell you I was so emo seeing this live. I never thought I would actually see them perform this live EVER. (short note: I NEED U was the song that made me really stop and listen to them and acknowledge that YES I liked them to bits. and HYYH came out at a pretty pivotal moment of my life, so by extension I fell in love with bts even more.) I welled up for this but no tears.

Anyway, you’re probably wondering about CYPHER PT 4, and yeah I have that whole thing recorded, so go check it out. Honestly, my heart was palpitating so much. And I wish that I was near the water, but it wasn’t meant to be. I still enjoyed the fck out of that performance.

Everyone was HYPE for FIRE (part 1, part 2). They performed more for the front, but at my spot in line... I saw a lot of... butt... (im blushing ok. i never thought i’d actually bangtan’s butt LIVE okay!!!)

The medley was right after fire. Honestly, @jatriciaapungg‘s fancam for the medley was EVERYTHING. She and I were standing right next to each other, so her blessed fancam is exactly what I saw.

Notes about the medley: I consider myself to be a mostly Yoongi bias, but I truly love all of them. ALL. Of. THEM. He wasn’t really on our side of the stage but do you know who was???? JHOPE, JIMIN, AND TAEHYUNG THATS WHO.

Honest to goodness eye contact with Jimin was fucking fatal. And he changed his hair color to that soft brown that makes everyone nut. Taehyung was king of fanservice as expected, but Jimin was such a surprise. My heart was beating so fast because it wasn’t just once or twice that he came over to our end. And I lowkey (kind of sort of) think it’s because my friends were super pretty so make sure you go with pretty friends.

Funny story about RUN. So towards the end of my fancams you’ll see me like rush towards the front when the boys move from the extension to the main stage. In my friend’s fancam, you can hear go “Unni Run! Gogogogogogo!” (and pls we’re both korean so don’t think we’re into that koreaboo shit lol).

Right after RUN was 21st Century Girl [part 1, part 2]. They were so playful. Especially Jhope and Taehyung hahahaha.

After that: Blood Sweat Tears. They had on these nice, expensive-looking blazers omg.

WINGS [part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4] I lost my fucking mind for WINGS. And maybe this is me being like annoying or whatever but I finally realized for WINGS that the crowd was kind of.... dead. Like we’re all in the front and stuff, and you can tell from my fancam that I was like v hype for it. TBH I wasn’t even paying attention to recording; I was jumping around and having a blast but everyone around me was so still wtf? Ah, it’s not up to me to dictate your own concert experience, but I really understood what people were saying regarding crowds being dead just to record stuff... Keep in mind though... that a lot of people who went to the thursday show were in really bad condition because of how cold wednesday night was...

Meet Ups:

Honestly, I would not have been able to even GO at all if it weren’t for @jatriciaapungg. (The whole thing is a long story.) This was our third meeting, and I was SO HAPPY to get to go see BTS with her and her other friend. I couldn’t have asked for better concert buddies. And honestly we were so cute together. (IF YOU’RE READING THIS WE’RE GOING TO GO SEE BTS TOGETHER AGAIN!) Honestly, @jatriciaapungg is just super pretty on the inside and outside, and her fancams saved my LIFE.

I saw @hobibliophile a couple of times, but both times we were in line or in a precious barricade spot, so we couldn’t really interact a lot hahaha. But it was great to see her and scream each other’s names from fifty feet away hahaha.

Okay. So when I finally met bangtan bookclub babes @ohsuga and @triptaech I lost it. We made First Contact right before the concert started, but I got yelled at by security staff when I lingered for too long near a barricade thing separating seated sections from standing. But our real meeting was right after the concert ended, and we met in the cold outside. I tackled both of them in a hug. Let me tell you: they’re both super attractive and my heart was beating so fast because I finally got to meet some of the bookclub fam. We only spent like 20 minutes together because we were all going different directions, but they waited with me for my uber. I miss them already.

Finally, I said hello to @versigny as I was leaving to go back home by train. (She’s so cute goodness gracious...) I think other writers were there with her too, but I had to leave and catch my train.

can you believe I got exactly 100 responses? lol I forgot to post them here, so thank you for the reminder!!!

Most fans fell in love with BTS during HYYH Pt. 1 Era, followed by Dark & Wild and then Skool Luv Affair. ~10% became ARMY during Young Forever, mostly fans who became ARMY during the beginning of that era. Anyone that joined in 2015/2016 mostly answered that their favorite era was HYYH Pt 1, older fans answered mostly Dark & Wild but I still saw a good amount of fans answer either choice regardless of when they joined.

Most watched was Dope with 25%, then No More Dream with 15.2% and Boy in Luv with 13.1%; We Are Bulletproof pt 2 had 8% and Fire wad 7%. What I found most surprising about this question was the fact that a lot of newer fans (2016/2017) still answered that the first MV they watched was Dope, which tells you what sort of impact that video alone had on the growth of the fandom.

For this question, I was hesitant to put Wings/YNWA separate because they are essentially the same album, except YNWA has four different songs. But the fact that so many people still loved those 4 songs that much more to choose YNWA over Wings speaks volumes. So I interpret this as the majority of the people who were surveyed felt a much stronger connection with the Wings/YNWA era in general. Still, it’s almost like a tie between two very important and meaningful albums/eras.

Whether an old fan or a newer fan answered this question, majority went for I Need U and truly…wasn’t that the start of it all? 17.3% chose Blood Sweat and Tears, 16.3% chose Spring Day, a tie of 11.2% occurred between Fire and RUN, and 9.2% chose Not Today as their favorite. I know people say that BTS has become more well known for their hardcore/badass/intense tracks like Not Today and Fire but it seems that overall most fans still prefer the opposite type of songs. More emotionally charged songs, if you will

These two questions were all over the place and that was mostly my fault, I think this one was difficult to interpret and the answer choices were confusing, so I apologize profusely for that. Looking at all individual responses, people seemed to stick with their original bias but as time went by, decided to become double biased or OT7. But besides that, Yoongi consistently managed to convince people to switch biases towards him OR convinced them to stay in love with him from the very beginning. Same for Hoseok. The change in amount of people that biased one or more of the maknae line is not really significant, since essentially anyone that answered that their bias has not changed were maknae line biased originally and did not change their bias over the years.

As for the individual responses to the question that asked you WHY your bias is your bias, I decided not to share those bc there are a lot haha if you really want to read some, maybe I can post a few bc some of them are truly, truly beautiful. Anyway, if you have any other questions about the survey, please let me know! And sorry this ended up being a long post.

My Answers to 100 Questions

So technically I wasn’t tagged to do this, but I have been seeing it around and it seems fun and like a good way for people to get to know each other, so I wanted to do it.

When did I first started listening to kpop? - I first was introduced to kpop with the YouTubers React to KPOP and it was actually EXO’s Overdose that originally got me into the genre and I’m going to say that was around 2 years ago? Then around a year ago, I saw my friend dance to KPOP songs and thought it was awesome and that exposed me to GOT7′s Just Right and BTS’s Dope, but then this previous year I couldn’t stop thinking about Dope and somehow found VIXX’s Chained Up and that was the song and group that I fell head-first into this mess with.

First group I listened to/liked? - As I said above I really liked Overdose, but GOT7 was the first group that I looked up their names and I immediately liked Mark, so technically Mark was the first bias I ever had.

Do you prefer boy groups or girl groups? - Boy groups, but recently I’ve been listening to some girl groups as well.

If your bias got a girlfriend/boyfriend how would you feel? - I’d cry out of pure happiness, they deserve the world and I’m sure finding love as an idol is incredibly difficult, so if Leo found someone and they made it public that would mean that they really meant something to him, and I’d just cry for the happy couple.

How would you feel if your bias came out gay/lesbian/bisexual/etc.? - I really don’t like this question tbh because it’s our jobs as fans to support our biases through thick and thin, and being gay is nothing to be ashamed of, but this question kind of makes it sound like people would stop supporting their bias if they were, those people aren’t real fans.

Do you think any kpop idols are gay/lesbian/bisexual/etc.? - I have a few in mind, but I don’t actually go out of my way to figure these kinds of things out or stereotype people, it’s just a vibe I get from them.
