Summary: During the day of the solar eclipse, Iroh is called to head back home to the Fire Nation with his family.

“Dad…?” Jin tried to peel his eyes open, feeling his father’s nudges at his shoulder to wake. Any of Iroh’s attempts were unsuccessful. Jin’s heavy eyelids and body felt too powerful. “Whaa? Whayo do?” His words were a slurry mess and he started to dig aggressive circles in his tired eyes with a tight fist.

“Come on, Jin. It’s time to get up. We have to go,” Iroh quietly urged, pulling his son’s hand down to keep him from burning a hole in his eye. As light of a sleeper their son Jin was most times, it was out of character to see him in such a daze. Kiko, for sure, was expected to be hard to wake. But it made sense to Iroh given what the day was for him and Jin. 

“Wheer we go? Gasket come too?”

Jin’s drowsy line of thought made Iroh chuckle. Of course he’d be concerned about the family fox cat. “Yes, yes he’s coming too.” Scooping his son into his arms, Iroh set Jin on a hiked hip and brushed his bed head back. “Your mother and siblings are all ready. It’s just us getting ready to head out.”

Jin hummed, letting his forehead fall into Iroh’s chest.

PRELUDIO PARA UNA CANCIÓN QUE NO LA ENCUENTRO AUTOR: Eduardo Whayo Riqueros R.

Muchas veces cada día vivimos entre miles de recuerdos de nuestra mente, continuamente estamos buscando un rincón de paz, aunque sea mientras caminamos por las calles de jardines de cemento, llenas de sonidos estridentes donde hay coros de niños hambrientos por un pan, en pleno caminar encontramos escenarios de imágenes eternas de ancianos sin amor, abandonados.

En pleno recorrido veo danzantes con trajes sin prejuicios esbirros muertos por el vicio, caminando sin cesar, la proximidad de un parque me alienta, pero el humo fuerte y oloroso de la hierba alucinógena me espanta, Son confines de los amigos de lo ajeno, que revolotean por todos lados, pretendiendo arrancar algo de valor para vender.

Camino de prisa a pasos raudales, no hay para elegir más opciones, llego a casa convencido de que la calle no es mi lugar, muchas veces me pregunto que paso con la ciudad, que ya no quiero verla ni sentirla, que paso con la ciudad que ya no quiero escucharla, ya no quiero ni siquiera recorrer sus jirones.

Como siempre el paso del tiempo inescrutable, me envuelve en la oscuridad de la noche, ¡¡Que alivio estoy en casa!!a puerta cerrada, empiezo a buscar en mi mente, entre miles de recuerdos, quiero encontrar un rincón de paz, para poder bajarla al tintero, y escribir entre lágrimas y sollozos una canción, la canción que  ahora no la encuentro.
