Heres a new challenge!!! #whatsmystyle challenge! So, What's my vibe exactly? I'm just your average witch bitch. I get a lot of influence for my stage outfits from Victorian era witch fashion and a lot of druid/ fantasy pages on Instagram. I would call myself a dark version of your average quirky witch. I love black and dark color palettes for my makeup (if any)and as far as if I even wear color at all. I also try to stick to lace, cloaks (yes. Actual cloaks. Along with modernized cloak jackets), vegan leather, and lightweight clothing so i can layer a lot. Henceforth my love of winter weather. Most of what I own is meant for winter. I enjoy band tees with leather or leggings as well for a glam metal vibe when I'm home or casual. But I like it comfy and dark mostly. ;). I especially love dresses (since they hide my fat rolls lol and they are comfy as hell to me). I also dont show much of my upper body since I have always hated it. And the shoes? DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED. I gotta have stacks or a boot. Always. I hardly wear flats or sandals. I wanna start wearing flats like classic witch shows or Mary Jane's or cute, bulky stack platform sandals, but my big old feet dont allow it unless they're designed wide. XD. I get a lot of fashion ideas from various insta accounts and singers I follow. But I try to make the ideas my own. What's your style? . Tomorrow I hit the gym again. How's She So Stylish?

For some style comes naturally and for others it's a process. For those that haven't discovered their personal style I have found that it is extremely important to visually shop the "market." Market being magazines, street walkers (no, not hookers or prostitutes... literally people walking the streets), books, blogs, and other resources that portray the style you'd like to emulate. When you come across someone who's style you envy, take a picture, cut it out, or jot it down (even if you think it's something you "can't" pull off, how are you supposed to discover your style if you're too afraid to try different things on) in your "style guide." 

I keep a small, blank page, notebook (preferably a Moleskin) where I can paste or tape style photo's I am obsessed with and or sketch/note take if I'm on the go. This helps me to keep everything in one place and stay focused on evolving my personal style. Its great to have your "style guide" handy for inspiration when you go shopping. It also helps keep you focused on pieces that are staples/classics that you can take season to season rather than buying garments that are just fads.

Just remember, style is eternal and fads fade.
